- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the 96 one kiss morning freak show.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Everything was going good, man. It was a good weekend,
- 0:07Speaker 2: you know? Yeah, it was.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Me and you walked in the David Allen fashion show
- 0:10Speaker 3: downtown on Saturday with some of Pittsburgh's fanciest people.
- 0:15Speaker 2: That was a good time. It was fun.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Friday and Saturday night out in Vegas was our iHeartRadio
- 0:21Speaker 3: Music Festival. That was awesome. We're going to be hearing
- 0:24Speaker 3: from our buddy DJ Bonix this morning. He was Snoop
- 0:27Speaker 3: Dogg's DJ, and surprise, surprise, Snoop brought out Wiz Khalifa
- 0:32Speaker 3: at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. That was a pretty cool
- 0:35Speaker 3: yin-splosion moment right there. And then you got the Steelers
- 0:40Speaker 3: ruining the weekend. On Sunday in New England. Just pooping
- 0:45Speaker 3: all over it. Just bad, right?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Just pooping all over it.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I feel like I wasn't even into the game until
- 0:50Speaker 3: like halfway through the third quarter.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And I'm like, all right, we're going to score. What's
- 0:54Speaker 2: going on here? You know, just offensive, just mud. Like
- 0:59Speaker 2: those first two quarters, you're sitting there waiting for them
- 1:01Speaker 2: to score. And you're like, there's something to happen. They'll
- 1:03Speaker 2: get it together. They're going to do something. That's just like,
- 1:07Speaker 2: oh no, maybe they're not. Hey, by the way, I
- 1:10Speaker 2: like Mike McCarthy. He's very different after losses than Coach Tomlin.
- 1:15Speaker 3: And he's taking the blame for it.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 3: He's saying maybe the offense is a little too complicated
- 1:21Speaker 3: for these guys. He's not blaming like Aaron Rodgers. He's
- 1:25Speaker 3: blaming himself. He's like, we got to give him time
- 1:27Speaker 3: to throw the ball. It sucked in New England, 23.
- 1:29Speaker 3: The Steelers lose now one and one on the season.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Bob has sent me so many Steelers Facebook comments. We
- 1:35Speaker 3: have so, I mean, we might be able to do
- 1:38Speaker 3: one round per hour.
- 1:40Speaker 2: There's a lot. There's a lot. People not too happy.
- 1:44Speaker 2: People are upset with the Stillers this morning. People are
- 1:46Speaker 2: all over the place, and they're mad. Oh, no, man.
- 1:49Speaker 2: They're all over the place, and they're angry. Put him in.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Who?
- 1:53Speaker 2: Will Hart. Put him in. Who? Drew L.
- 1:56Speaker 5: Hart.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Put them in who? Big Ben. Got to give the
- 2:00Speaker 2: young guys a shot or go get somebody even older.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Go get Ben. All right. Steelers Facebook comments.
- 2:06Speaker 3: First round of that coming up around 625. Also, this
- 2:09Speaker 3: is big too. Olivia Rodrigo's coming next week. Two sold
- 2:12Speaker 3: out shows. We have your chance at tickets around 730
- 2:15Speaker 3: and 930. It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1. Hey, it's over, man.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Sorry. I'm wearing pants today. Oh, my God. It's going
- 2:25Speaker 2: to be cool this week. Look what you did, Steelers.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Everything's flooded. Oh, no. It's raining again today.
- 2:33Speaker 5: No.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we're supposed to get hit with more rain today.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Low-lying areas could be flooding, but temperatures falling around to, like,
- 2:41Speaker 3: You know, in the.
- 2:43Speaker 2: 60s and 70s here. What's going on? The pants are on, Bob.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Mid-60s are perfect big man weather. I know. You're loving
- 2:50Speaker 2: it right now. You're loving it right now. Shorts! You
- 2:54Speaker 2: could do with less rain, though, right? Less rain? Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 2: I don't like it wet. Okay. Perfect big man weather
- 3:00Speaker 2: is just like this, but less rain, right? Good temps?
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Ah, you can feel the fall in the air. How
- 3:07Speaker 2: about it?
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Obviously going
- 3:11Speaker 3: to be a lot about Steelers this morning. They lose
- 3:13Speaker 3: 20-3 to the Patriots. Let's go right to a backyard
- 3:20Speaker 3: where Nate, the crazy Italian guy, our buddy here who's
- 3:24Speaker 3: been you know, friend of the show for years and
- 3:26Speaker 3: years now. He always posts a video after the Steelers lose,
- 3:31Speaker 3: just yelling in a backyard. It's Nate, the crazy Italian guy,
- 3:35Speaker 3: the pulse of Steeler Nation.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Let me tell you two things, okay? First of all,
- 3:39Speaker 2: you're better than that, Steelers. You're better than that. Let's
- 3:42Speaker 2: get it together. We got a long season.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Ahead of us.
- 3:45Speaker 6: All right.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You're better than that. Number two, put me on the O-line.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Put me on the O-line. I'll start doing cardio.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Right now!
- 3:55Speaker 2: All right, so he's a big guy. Nate the Crazy
- 3:57Speaker 2: Town Guy's power lifter. Yeah, yeah. But he said, put
- 4:00Speaker 2: me on the O-line right now. He's got the strength,
- 4:02Speaker 2: but he's going to need to get the cardio up.
- 4:04Speaker 2: He knows that. Put me in, Mike! I know I'm old,
- 4:07Speaker 2: but I like the fact that you obviously... man no
- 4:14Speaker 2: fair weatherness yeah let's go stealers all right you know.
- 4:16Speaker 3: What let's go stealers nate the crazy italian guy's gonna
- 4:20Speaker 3: get his cardio up maybe late maybe later in the
- 4:22Speaker 3: season after the bye week he could get on the
- 4:24Speaker 3: roster he starts somewhat normal there just like i got
- 4:27Speaker 3: two things and by the time he gets to put
- 4:29Speaker 3: me on the o-line yeah it looks like his head's
- 4:31Speaker 3: gonna explode he's yelling so hard it does it does
- 4:34Speaker 3: he He gets redder and redder as he gets more
- 4:37Speaker 3: and more serious.
- 4:38Speaker 2: He's not doing that to be funny. I think he
- 4:41Speaker 2: expects a call from Mike McCarthy. He's ready.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Nate's ready to protect your backside, Aaron Rodgers. We will
- 4:48Speaker 3: get the Steelers' Facebook comments. The first round coming up
- 4:51Speaker 3: next around 625. And two chances this morning to try
- 4:55Speaker 3: to win sold-out Olivia Rodrigo tickets, 730 and 930. It's

- 6:02Speaker 3: It's time to get into the Steelers Facebook comments.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Beware.
- 6:06Speaker 1: We are going to a very deep, dark place on
- 6:09Speaker 1: the internet. Everyone is a GM.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Everyone is a coach. Everyone is going to get tweeted.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Everything sucks.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It's time for Steelers Facebook comments.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Steelers lose 20-3 in New England. We're in the Steelers

- 6:32Speaker 2: this crap for the rest of the season.
- 6:34Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I am done with the Steelers. Oh, damn! him to
- 6:41Speaker 2: the crossroads. After week two, he's no longer watching Steeler football.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I can't watch this crap. There goes Joe.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And I'm going to miss stealing football. And I'm going
- 6:53Speaker 3: to miss stealing football. Nicole M here. You ever barf
- 6:58Speaker 3: so bad after a night of drinking that you swear
- 7:01Speaker 3: off drinking. That's me every Sunday with the Steelers. And
- 7:05Speaker 3: then here I am again. Drink into next Sunday.
- 7:08Speaker 2: That is the perfect analogy. It is. Everybody's been there, right? Like, oh, God, Amber,
- 7:16Speaker 2: that's it?
- 7:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Here I am again. It's how you feel. You're like, oh, cool.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers has one second to throw the ball. Can't
- 7:22Speaker 3: throw the ball downfield because he's just getting destroyed.
- 7:25Speaker 2: All right, cool. I'll see you next week, everybody. Rick M.
- 7:30Speaker 2: here in the Steelers' Facebook comments. There is no leadership.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Chuck Noll. And Mean Joe Green. Oh, no. What a
- 7:41Speaker 2: kick someone's ass by now. Man. We need somebody's ass
- 7:46Speaker 2: kicked on the team. Yeah, it's week two. We need
- 7:48Speaker 2: coaches and players to start kicking people's ass in the
- 7:52Speaker 2: locker room. James O here. I'm going to have to
- 7:56Speaker 2: start sniffing glue if this is the best the offense
- 7:58Speaker 2: can do. All right, bud. I don't know. It's not
- 8:01Speaker 2: going to help the offense. Look what you did, Steelers.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Frank K. Run the ball. Okay. Throw it to Muth
- 8:09Speaker 2: in Washington. Sounds good. I could call these plays better
- 8:14Speaker 2: than Mike McCarthy. Here we go. Everyone blows smoke up
- 8:19Speaker 2: his ass because he's from Greenfield. Well, I'm Frank. And
- 8:25Speaker 2: I'm from Murraysville. Let me call the plays. Well, get
- 8:32Speaker 2: in there, Frank. That's where we're at so far, Steeler Nation.
- 8:35Speaker 2: The Steelers lose in week two. And Frank from Murraysville
- 8:40Speaker 2: is ready to be the new offensive coordinator. Hey, we
- 8:46Speaker 2: appreciate you listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast, but

- 9:42Speaker 3: Music Festival. A lot of great performances Friday and Saturday night.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I was so proud of our buddy, one of our
- 9:48Speaker 3: best friends in the entire world, DJ Bonix. You know,
- 9:52Speaker 3: you can hear him on the station. on the weekends,
- 9:55Speaker 3: and he's just been one of our best friends for
- 9:58Speaker 3: 20 years now. and uh he's of course Wiz Khalifa's
- 10:01Speaker 3: DJ Wiz Khalifa was Snoop Dogg's special guest came out
- 10:05Speaker 3: did Young Wild and Free and See You Again that
- 10:08Speaker 3: closed out the iHeartRadio Music Festival. And I was just
- 10:13Speaker 3: so happy for our buddy DJ Bonix. You know, he
- 10:16Speaker 3: fills in as Snoop's DJ every now and then, and
- 10:18Speaker 3: he got to say it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: We all say it. We all yell it. But he
- 10:23Speaker 2: got to yell it on stage with Snoop Dogg. It's
- 10:27Speaker 2: the one and only D-Go Double G. Snoop Dogg! He
- 10:30Speaker 2: got to yell Snoop Dogg! That's DJ Bonix. That's Pittsburgh
- 10:34Speaker 2: right there. You can hear him on the station. That's
- 10:36Speaker 2: our boy. We've all yelled it before. And this is
- 10:39Speaker 2: how the iHeartRadio Music Festival ended. This is the last
- 10:43Speaker 2: part of a two-night extravaganza in Vegas, our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 10:49Speaker 2: This is how it ends with DJ Bonix and Snoop Dogg.
- 10:53Speaker 2: What's up with Snoop Dogg? Make some noise! DJ Bonix
- 10:58Speaker 2: in this biatch. The last thing you heard if you
- 11:01Speaker 2: listened to the iHeartRadio Music Festival was Snoop Dogg saying,
- 11:05Speaker 2: DJ Bonix in this biatch. The walk-off. So good. Now,
- 11:11Speaker 2: here's another thing.
- 11:12Speaker 3: That we came into here this morning uh if you

- 16:27Speaker 9: It's under some bridge by Mulberry Way. Have you heard
- 16:31Speaker 9: of this? It's insanely yinzer. Have a great day.
- 16:35Speaker 2: It was, I, I could not stop watching that this weekend.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I saw one of the videos. I think once I
- 16:40Speaker 2: liked the video and I'm like, whoa, parallel parking championships
- 16:43Speaker 2: in Pittsburgh. It was sweet too. Outstanding. It is like
- 16:48Speaker 2: I was sitting there watching. And then, you know, you
- 16:50Speaker 2: got people with their phones that are holding up scores
- 16:53Speaker 2: and stuff like that. That was such a pay. Whoever
- 16:56Speaker 2: put that together, Pittsburgh parallel parking championships. Great job over
- 17:01Speaker 2: the weekend. All right. It is right around seven o'clock.
- 17:04Speaker 3: This is where we take you back to a moment
- 17:05Speaker 3: in the show that made us laugh, made us smile.
- 17:08Speaker 3: And we're going down to Florida for a weird Florida story.
- 17:11Speaker 2: And it actually has to do with the Florida meat
- 17:13Speaker 2: hammer for today in Freak Show History. Today in Freak
- 17:17Speaker 2: Show History.
- 17:18Speaker 10: Today in Freak Show History.
- 17:27Speaker 11: Orange County man is in custody right now because deputies
- 17:30Speaker 11: say he attacked another man with a meat-tenderizing mallet.
- 17:34Speaker 7: I mean.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Swinging the meat hammer.
- 17:36Speaker 11: Investigators say he went to the victim's apartment to apologize
- 17:39Speaker 11: about something, but once he was inside, he started hitting
- 17:42Speaker 11: the victim in the head with that mallet.
- 17:44Speaker 2: What about the meat hammer? You can't go from I'm
- 17:47Speaker 2: sorry to meat hammer that quick.
- 17:49Speaker 5: You can't.
- 17:50Speaker 11: Deputies say the victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm talking.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Ooh.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Damn.
- 17:58Speaker 2: How you gonna bust out the meat hammer? Meat hammer.
- 18:04Speaker 12: I'm talking.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Meat hammer. Busting out that meat hammer. In Florida. I'm
- 18:11Speaker 2: gonna say I'm sorry.
- 18:13Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Sorry not sorry. Sorry not sorry cause I'm busting out
- 18:19Speaker 2: the meat hammer. Aw damn. About to get it tender
- 18:24Speaker 2: up in here.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Ooh.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Tender rising hammer. This ain't no regular meat hammer. Hell no.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It's a meat tender rising hammer. Damn right. Swinging the
- 18:38Speaker 2: meat hammer. Woosh woosh. Sorry not sorry. It's a Florida apology, girl.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Hell no. I'm not sending flowers. Uh-uh. I'm not sending
- 18:57Speaker 2: a Facebook message. Hell no. I'm not leaving you a card. Uh-uh.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I'm leaving you a meat hammer.
- 19:07Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Tenderize that ass. No, really, though. I'm sorry. Just kidding.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Meat hammer.
- 19:14Speaker 13: Uh-uh.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Out of nowhere, while we're all down about the Steelers
- 19:21Speaker 2: losing to the Patriots yesterday, out of nowhere. It's a
- 19:24Speaker 2: great day. It's a great day.
- 19:27Speaker 7: The Penguins play real hockey.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It doesn't count. It's preseason, but the Penguins play hockey
- 19:39Speaker 2: tonight at the....
- 19:50Speaker 3: The arena against Buffalo. A little bit of let's go, Pengs.
- 19:54Speaker 3: This is not a full-blown let's go, Pengs.
- 19:56Speaker 2: A little bit of let's go, Pengs. This is preseason.
- 19:59Speaker 2: This is a little bit of let's go, Pengs.
- 20:03Speaker 3: So Penguins are back at it tonight. A little preseason
- 20:06Speaker 3: game at home. Of course, we're all thinking about the Steelers.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I mean, it's just raining crappy out. It's like flooding
- 20:15Speaker 3: some areas. And then you just got the Steelers just
- 20:19Speaker 3: turning it up in New England.
- 20:21Speaker 2: In their pants. You just hate losing to the Patriots.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I know it's not the same Patriots and everything. It's
- 20:28Speaker 2: still Robert Kraft. I mean, just not even losing to
- 20:31Speaker 2: the Patriots. Just... losing that bad. Yeah. Offense putting up
- 20:36Speaker 2: three points. Just like, wow, our team can't score points.
- 20:40Speaker 2: DK Metcalf dropping balls. And I mean, I know people
- 20:44Speaker 2: are going to be on Aaron Rogers. Guy's got like
- 20:46Speaker 2: a second to throw the ball. Like I'm pretty sure
- 20:49Speaker 2: after that hit, he took when he got hit in
- 20:52Speaker 2: the blind side, his head snapped back. I thought that
- 20:54Speaker 2: was it. I thought like, ah, I'm not even sure
- 20:57Speaker 2: if he's alive, let alone can he still play. I'm like,
- 21:00Speaker 2: is he dead? It's like there was taking a hit
- 21:03Speaker 2: at that age. Yeah, it wasn't great with the offensive line.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Let's get to this talkback message here real quick before
- 21:08Speaker 3: we get to Mike McCarthy's thoughts on the game. Talkback
- 21:11Speaker 3: message is brought to us by One Team Media.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Honestly, yesterday's game, the Steelers were terrible. I knew they
- 21:17Speaker 2: were going to lose. And I told my husband, I
- 21:20Speaker 2: hate to admit this, but the offense looked just like
- 21:24Speaker 2: Mike Tomlin's. And you know what? We haven't seen the
- 21:30Speaker 2: offensive firepower yet. It kind of does. We haven't seen
- 21:34Speaker 2: it yet. I was like, it's copycat. We are running
- 21:36Speaker 2: the ball, and nobody wants to throw the ball. Yeah, well,
- 21:39Speaker 2: I mean, we want to throw the ball. We just
- 21:41Speaker 2: don't have the time. They're afraid to throw it down,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and Aaron Rodgers overthrows. Metcalf can't even hold the ball.
- 21:47Speaker 2: He has fumble fingers. Fumble fingers. I just knew we
- 21:50Speaker 2: were going to lose. Steelers, I love you, but not yesterday.
- 21:54Speaker 3: As is not great for the Steelers, we will read
- 21:57Speaker 3: some Steelers Facebook comments coming up next on the show
- 21:59Speaker 3: around 725. Let's get to Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Here he was after the loss.
- 22:06Speaker 14: Well, offensively, I mean, clearly not good enough. You know
- 22:10Speaker 14: what I mean? And that starts with me. Felt it
- 22:13Speaker 14: in practice, frankly. You know, coming off last week.
- 22:16Speaker 2: He knew? Felt we were all herky-jerky trying to get
- 22:19Speaker 2: in and out of the running pass. Yeah, he's right. Remember?
- 22:21Speaker 2: Herky-jerky again? Dude, remember? He said herky-jerky. Offense was herky-jerky.
- 22:28Speaker 2: He knew. Seems like we're still herky-jerky. You don't deliver.
- 22:31Speaker 14: It just tells you you need to spend more time
- 22:33Speaker 14: on it. And what I'm referring to is... We put
- 22:36Speaker 14: a lot of time and energy into the protection component.
- 22:39Speaker 14: We didn't answer the bell. But the reality of it
- 22:41Speaker 14: is the detail's not there, and that's on coaching. It
- 22:43Speaker 14: starts with me. I'm calling the offense. I have to
- 22:46Speaker 14: get the detail better. So if you need someone... Fire away,
- 22:50Speaker 14: because I felt it on Wednesday and Thursday. I'm a
- 22:52Speaker 14: veteran coach.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I know better. I didn't do a good job. All right. Wow.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Now, that is a lot different than Coach Tomlin after
- 23:01Speaker 3: a loss right there.
- 23:02Speaker 2: He's just saying the offense, it's on me. I'm an
- 23:05Speaker 2: offensive guy, and we got to score more points. He
- 23:07Speaker 2: felt it. He felt it. He felt it. He should
- 23:10Speaker 2: have told us if he felt it. He should have
- 23:12Speaker 2: told us. Mike McCarthy, see, this is different, because he's
- 23:15Speaker 2: a Pittsburgh coach. He's got to be honest with Pittsburgh.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Don't say it on ESPN or anything like that. No,
- 23:22Speaker 2: don't give that to them. You tell us herky-jerky. We
- 23:25Speaker 2: know things are going sideways in practice. Tell us directly.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Be like, pull a reporter to the side, local reporter. Hey,
- 23:32Speaker 2: we might get our ass kicked. Herky-jerky practice is the sake.
- 23:38Speaker 2: The week's been herky-jerky, meow. I'm feeling it. It's herky-jerky. Meow, meow.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Pull them to the side, though. Pull that reporter to
- 23:48Speaker 2: the side. Tell him that.
- 23:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Can't let the national narrative get out that we're herky-jerky
- 23:55Speaker 2: over here. Him just going, it's on me, though. It's
- 23:58Speaker 2: different to Tomlin. It's different to Tomlin. I felt it.
- 24:01Speaker 2: That's our first loss with Mike McCarthy there. It was herky-jerky.
- 24:05Speaker 3: We will read some Steelers Facebook comments after the 23
- 24:08Speaker 3: loss to the Patriots coming up around 725. And be
- 24:12Speaker 3: listening for your keyword that we're going to give you
- 24:15Speaker 3: coming up around 730. Your chance to win sold-out Olivia
- 24:19Speaker 3: Rodrigo tickets for the shows.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Next week, it's Mikey and Bob.
- 24:22Speaker 5: 96.1. Kids.
- 24:25Speaker 3: In just a minute, we're going to give you the
- 24:27Speaker 3: key word to send through the free iHeartRadio app. Send
- 24:30Speaker 3: us a talkback message when you're streaming the station, and
- 24:32Speaker 3: you could be going to the sold-out Olivia Rodrigo show.
- 24:35Speaker 3: She's doing two shows. We'll give you tickets to the
- 24:39Speaker 3: show next Tuesday at PPG Paints Arena. Olivia Rodrigo tickets
- 24:42Speaker 3: up next. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Let's get to this talkback message brought to us by
- 24:47Speaker 3: One Team Media.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Mikey, Big Bob, good morning. Hey, can I just say
- 24:53Speaker 2: something nice? Say something nice. Oh, okay. You want to
- 24:56Speaker 2: do a little bit of that? Okay. Say something nice.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Say something nice. All the Pittsburgh Steelers fans that woke
- 25:08Speaker 2: up today in a bad mood. A lot of us. Remember,
- 25:11Speaker 2: it's just a game. It sucks, but oh my God,
- 25:15Speaker 2: it is just a game.
- 25:17Speaker 4: It is.
- 25:17Speaker 2: What did you expect? We haven't done anything since Ben.
- 25:21Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 25:22Speaker 2: What a mic drop right there. He's just like, yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 2: everybody calm down. It's just a game. And I'm like,
- 25:29Speaker 2: all right. Yeah, he's right. It's just a game. I
- 25:31Speaker 2: thought he was going to make sense there and be like, yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 2: there's bigger things going on. No, man. He turned right
- 25:36Speaker 2: into a Facebook comment. By the way, speaking of Facebook comments. Beware.
- 25:41Speaker 2: We are going to a very deep, dark place on
- 25:43Speaker 2: the internet. Oh, yeah. If you want us at GM.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Everyone is a coach.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Everyone is going to get traded.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Everything sucks. It's time for Steelers Facebook comments.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Steelers take their first L of the season, losing 20-3
- 25:58Speaker 3: to the Patriots.
- 25:59Speaker 2: We're in the Steelers Facebook comments. Mike W., didn't you
- 26:03Speaker 2: think Mike McCarthy wears a t-shirt when he swims? Get
- 26:06Speaker 2: out of here again. It's not the time for that.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I think McCarthy's nips out if we're really, like, hmm. Wow,
- 26:15Speaker 2: this needs more of a breakdown, I think. Yeah, I think.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Do you think he's a shirt guy? Yeah, I think
- 26:24Speaker 2: he wears one of them sunscreen sort of shirts. For
- 26:28Speaker 2: sun protection. For sun protection. I don't know, though. Looking
- 26:32Speaker 2: at that offensive line, I don't know if McCarthy knows
- 26:34Speaker 2: anything about protection. I think he's burning the skin with
- 26:37Speaker 2: his nips out there. Gary, see in the Steelers' Facebook comments. Jesus,
- 26:42Speaker 2: here we go. Oh, what? I've been watching Steelers football
- 26:46Speaker 2: for 63 years. Credentials. And I don't like this new couch.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Thought he was going to be more like Cowher. But
- 26:58Speaker 2: he's soft like Tomlin. Need a new coach to kick
- 27:03Speaker 2: him right in the ass. unbelievable um it's two games
- 27:08Speaker 2: and we're we're assessing we're comparing like 15 year legendary
- 27:13Speaker 2: coaches to two gate oh couch tower huh that's what
- 27:18Speaker 2: we're looking at he was gonna be more like couch
- 27:22Speaker 2: car but he's more like cotch tomlin ray.
- 27:27Speaker 3: B in the steelers facebook comments who's gonna tell him
- 27:30Speaker 3: oh Who's going to tell Aaron Rodgers it's over?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Oh, no. When you can't play, you start coaching. Oh, no. Hey, Aaron,
- 27:37Speaker 2: let the young guys play and teach them. Jeff B.,
- 27:42Speaker 2: two major concerns. McCarthy and Rodgers both seem to have
- 27:47Speaker 2: no clue what the hell is going on. All right, yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 2: those are major concerns. Sounds like it, yeah. Mike S.,
- 27:53Speaker 2: with a completely bat bleep crazy comment, Central Catholic would
- 27:57Speaker 2: beat the Steelers by 20. No, they wouldn't. I've watched
- 28:02Speaker 2: high school football for 50 years. Okay, yeah. I need
- 28:05Speaker 2: a bike 20.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Dennis, be in the Steelers' Facebook comments after they lose
- 28:10Speaker 3: to New England. They won't bet Jaron Rodgers it's going
- 28:12Speaker 3: to take an injury. And unfortunately, with our offensive line,
- 28:15Speaker 3: it could happen pretty soon here.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Vince Seed. You know what the Postal Service and the
- 28:20Speaker 2: Steelers have in common? Here we go. Neither of them
- 28:24Speaker 2: deliver on Sunday. All right.
- 28:26Speaker 7: No.
- 28:27Speaker 2: All right, Uncle Vince. Way to go, Uncle Vince. Did
- 28:29Speaker 2: you tell everybody that one? Dave F., somebody tell DK Butterfingers,
- 28:33Speaker 2: catch the damn ball. All right. And one more here
- 28:37Speaker 2: for this round. Dan C., Mike McCarthy is losing with
- 28:45Speaker 2: Tomlin's Flyers. Oh, no.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Win or lose, Steelers Facebook comments never disappoint after their
- 28:53Speaker 3: 20-3 loss to the Patriots. Now, we will be giving
- 28:56Speaker 3: away tickets Thursday morning to the Steelers-Bengals game.
- 29:00Speaker 2: That's coming up on Sunday.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Be listening 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 9 a.m. We're
- 29:04Speaker 3: going to give you three Steelers players' names. The first
- 29:07Speaker 3: person to call us Thursday morning, 9 a.m., with all
- 29:09Speaker 3: three names on Thursday will win Steelers-Bengals tickets.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And right now.
- 29:15Speaker 3: It's your chance at sold-out Olivia Rodrigo tickets.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Good luck.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Here's your next chance to win Olivia Rodrigo tickets on
- 29:22Speaker 1: 96.1 KISS.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Rainy out there today. It just feels like fall, you know, temperatures.
- 29:31Speaker 3: High's only going to be in, like, upper 60s, low 70s.
- 29:34Speaker 3: It's just raining out. You know, we've been getting a
- 29:36Speaker 3: lot of rain.
- 29:37Speaker 2: It's tomorrow fall. Yeah, tomorrow's first day of fall, dude. Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 2: it's over, man.
- 29:41Speaker 5: 60s.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I'm wearing pants, dude. Fall.
- 29:44Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob on 96.1 KISS. Let's get to
- 29:46Speaker 3: another talkback message here brought to us by The Pavement Group.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob.
- 29:49Speaker 5: Hey.
- 29:51Speaker 2: You want the pulse of Steeler Nation? Okay. Kind of.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Dan from Honda's got it for you. All right. Dan
- 29:56Speaker 2: from Honda. Just bring a bulldozer in. A bulldozer? Turn
- 30:00Speaker 2: this whole place into a freaking parking lot. Oh, no. Oh,
- 30:05Speaker 2: my God. Bulldozer.
- 30:07Speaker 8: McCarthy.
- 30:08Speaker 2: McCarthy. Take him out right meow. Take him out where? Meow.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I feel like I can take him out right meow.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Are we bulldozing the stadium? I do believe that we
- 30:21Speaker 2: should bulldoze the stadium and build a new one up
- 30:24Speaker 2: north so we can get WrestleManias and Super Bowls and
- 30:26Speaker 2: stuff like that. I like that idea. But I don't
- 30:28Speaker 2: think we can do it right now in the middle
- 30:30Speaker 2: of the season. I don't think now's the time. But
- 30:31Speaker 2: Dan from Honda says it's time to bulldoze. Get out there.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Our iHeartRadio Music Festival happened in Vegas over the weekend,
- 30:41Speaker 2: Friday and Saturday night. A surprise to close out the show.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You know, I mean, just huge artists playing, like Benson Boone,
- 30:49Speaker 3: Zara Larson, like a lot of artists we play on
- 30:52Speaker 3: our station, but it all closed out on Saturday night
- 30:54Speaker 3: with Snoop Dogg. in a surprise performance from Pittsburgh zone,
- 30:59Speaker 3: Wiz Khalifa and our buddy DJ Bonix was DJing for
- 31:03Speaker 3: Snoop and Wiz. Uh, we will talk to DJ Bonix
- 31:06Speaker 3: about our I heart radio music festival and his experience and,
- 31:09Speaker 3: the pretty cool thing Snoop Dogg did for, uh, did
- 31:12Speaker 3: for a kid at our I heart radio music festival.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's coming up around eight 55 right now, Bob, you know,
- 31:18Speaker 2: let's check in with the Pittsburgh police scanner account. Okay.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I know people are.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Down about the Steelers, but Hey, we still got to
- 31:24Speaker 3: check in with scanner real quick. Again, going on a
- 31:27Speaker 3: couple of people listening to Pittsburgh police scanner.
- 31:29Speaker 2: And then they, uh, they report on the things that
- 31:31Speaker 2: might not make the news, but the things.
- 31:33Speaker 3: That people do call the cops for, they have their
- 31:35Speaker 3: own website, PGH dash scanner.com. Time to find out what's
- 31:39Speaker 3: happening in and around our city. Lawrenceville, Butler Street. Caller
- 31:45Speaker 3: says some guy is offering food and a good time
- 31:49Speaker 3: for anyone who joins him in his U-Haul.
- 31:55Speaker 2: This is not. This is. Come on in. No, this
- 32:01Speaker 2: is not. This is not good. You don't. I don't
- 32:06Speaker 2: care what food it is. Is there any food that
- 32:10Speaker 2: could get you in the back of a U-Haul, Bob?
- 32:12Speaker 2: You could seduce me with some meat. The smell of
- 32:17Speaker 2: sausage from the back of a U-Haul? I would follow
- 32:19Speaker 2: the trail right on in. There might be sausage in
- 32:22Speaker 2: the back of a U-Haul, dude. Might be. Might not
- 32:26Speaker 2: be the kind you want, though. It's that Lawrenceville street meat.
- 32:30Speaker 2: You don't want it. You don't want it. The street sausage?
- 32:33Speaker 2: You don't want the street sausage, dude.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Some guy offered food in a good time for anyone
- 32:38Speaker 3: joining him in his Lawrenceville U-Haul.
- 32:41Speaker 2: That's what's happening in and around our city.
- 32:45Speaker 7: Ding!
- 32:46Speaker 2: What did she say?
- 32:51Speaker 3: If you miss any live show that we're doing, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 3: we've already done two rounds of Steelers Facebook comments already,
- 32:57Speaker 3: and it's like eight o'clock.
- 32:58Speaker 2: You can get caught up with our.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Mikey and Bob podcast so you don't miss any show
- 33:02Speaker 3: on the free iHeartRadio app. Mikey and Bob podcast brought
- 33:04Speaker 3: to us by our good friends over at the C.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Harper Auto Group. Of course, it's just not a good
- 33:11Speaker 3: Monday at all. Tomorrow's the first day of fall. The
- 33:15Speaker 3: weather's getting cooler.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Sloppy. Yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 3: It's flooding in areas. It's just not a good feeling Monday, right?
- 33:24Speaker 2: I think T.J.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Watt sort of summed it up when he came to
- 33:28Speaker 3: the microphone yesterday after the Steelers lose 20-3 to the Patriots.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Here's T.J. Watt.
- 33:34Speaker 1: A little frustration at all.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Just curious to feel.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that was– he comes up to the microphone just–
- 33:47Speaker 3: the feeling after a game frustrated.
- 33:49Speaker 14: We played this game to win so anytime you don't
- 33:51Speaker 14: come out with a win you are left trying to
- 33:53Speaker 14: figure out what happened.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah it's that noise that noise every reporter in there
- 33:57Speaker 2: should have known just like TJ doesn't want to answer
- 34:00Speaker 2: any questions maybe I should just be like you know
- 34:02Speaker 2: what TJ you're good you can go home now you
- 34:05Speaker 2: can go home now buddy yeah it's not a great
- 34:08Speaker 2: noise right there then let me get the X-Files music
- 34:11Speaker 2: out because Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers after the game Assessing
- 34:18Speaker 2: how the team played.
- 34:20Speaker 10: Yeah, I got to look at the film, but we
- 34:22Speaker 10: just didn't get into a rhythm. We had too many
- 34:24Speaker 10: three and outs again. I don't feel like there was
- 34:27Speaker 10: anybody that had an exceptional game out there. We all
- 34:31Speaker 10: played below our standards.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I don't know if the film's going to help any.
- 34:35Speaker 2: The film's going to show you where you suck. Yeah,
- 34:37Speaker 2: there's a lot of suck. A lot of suck on
- 34:40Speaker 2: that film, Aaron Rodgers.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Don't watch yourself get hit, man. That blindside hit, man.
- 34:47Speaker 3: How the hell did you even recover from that? Aaron
- 34:50Speaker 3: Rodgers was also asked, hey, why do you even still
- 34:53Speaker 3: believe in the offense?
- 34:56Speaker 10: Oh, just what I've seen in practice, what I saw
- 34:59Speaker 10: in training camp.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 8: Training camp.
- 35:01Speaker 2: It's a good way. In the weeks. Yeah. With their
- 35:04Speaker 2: helmets on and shorts. We look good in camp.
- 35:08Speaker 15: Oh, God.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Caden Weegean. Got our Rico Bussey player camp award, you know?
- 35:14Speaker 2: We're done with camp, bud.
- 35:15Speaker 10: You know, these are still the first couple weeks, and
- 35:18Speaker 10: you're going to see different looks and unscouted stuff, and
- 35:21Speaker 10: I just don't think we all adjusted very well to
- 35:23Speaker 10: some of the stuff they were doing.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Is he throwing McCarthy under the bus there? Sounds, yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 2: a little bit of a sneak diss there. And then
- 35:33Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers was asked about, you know, the offense not
- 35:36Speaker 2: scoring points when the defense is sort of playing pretty
- 35:39Speaker 2: lights out of these first few games.
- 35:43Speaker 10: Yeah, it's frustrating for sure. Defense has been playing great.
- 35:45Speaker 10: You know, they've been holding, you know, 13 points a
- 35:50Speaker 10: game in two games. And offensively, I think we're averaging
- 35:53Speaker 10: like eight points a game. So it's not winning football.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Not only is it not winning football, it's horrible to watch.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's just awful to watch. It's painful to watch. The
- 36:04Speaker 2: Steelers-Patriots game yesterday felt like what it feels like outside.
- 36:10Speaker 2: You know? It's just wet, sloppy. Just, ew. Get it
- 36:16Speaker 2: out of here. We're moving on to the Bengals game.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Just long, drawn out. You just know the cold's coming now.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Getting some rain. Ugh. You lose to the damn Patriots.
- 36:27Speaker 2: You score three points. Oh, God.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Hey, we'll get to another round of Steelers Facebook comments
- 36:33Speaker 3: coming up around 825. Also, what Coach Tomlin had to
- 36:37Speaker 3: say about the Steelers' performance on Football Night in America
- 36:41Speaker 3: coming up around 825. Another chance at Olivia Rodrigo's sold-out
- 36:45Speaker 3: tickets around 930. It's Mikey Muff. Our iHeartRadio Music Festival
- 36:54Speaker 3: was Friday and Saturday night in Vegas over the weekend.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Closed out with Snoop Dogg in a special guest performance
- 37:01Speaker 3: by Pittsburgh's Wiz Khalifa. Our buddy DJ Bonix was DJing
- 37:06Speaker 3: for Snoop. And we'll check in with him as he'll
- 37:10Speaker 3: recap our iHeartRadio Music Festival through his eyes. Coming up
- 37:14Speaker 3: around 8.55 here on 96.1 KISS. It is Mikey and Bob.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Of course, we're giving away Olivia Rodrigo tickets this week
- 37:22Speaker 3: here on the station. We'll have another keyword for you
- 37:24Speaker 3: to try to win Olivia Rodrigo's sold-out tickets around 9.30.
- 37:27Speaker 3: All you got to do when you hear us, give
- 37:30Speaker 3: you the keyword. Send us a talkback message with it.
- 37:33Speaker 3: and you're qualified for Olivia Rodrigo tickets. We do it
- 37:36Speaker 3: five times a day this week here on 96.1 KISS.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I'm calling from.
- 37:41Speaker 6: West Missoula, working at UPMC this morning, and I'm trying
- 37:45Speaker 6: to win the Olivia Rodrigo tickets. birthday she wants to
- 37:50Speaker 6: go so bad and the tickets are expensive yeah.
- 37:55Speaker 2: The the Olivia tickets are expensive you can hear the
- 37:57Speaker 2: hum of the yeah like what you know those hospital
- 38:02Speaker 2: MC yeah yeah the Olivia resale tickets she's doing two
- 38:08Speaker 2: shows here they're both sold out and the resale tickets
- 38:10Speaker 2: are just it's insane hi.
- 38:13Speaker 4: Mikey and Bob this is Nico and My daughter and
- 38:18Speaker 4: I love Olivia Rodrigo. We're longtime fans. We were lucky
- 38:23Speaker 4: enough to see her in New York for my daughter's
- 38:27Speaker 4: first concert a couple years ago, and we would love
- 38:30Speaker 4: to see her again.
- 38:31Speaker 3: All right, your next keyword to try to win Olivia
- 38:33Speaker 3: tickets sold out coming up around 9.30 here on 96.1 KISS.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Ed Sheeran did play in Philadelphia over the weekend. Of course,
- 38:42Speaker 3: there's a whole controversy going on with Ed and his
- 38:44Speaker 3: tour here. And, you know, Israel and Palestine and all
- 38:48Speaker 3: that that's going on.
- 38:50Speaker 2: And Macklemore spoke out in Free Palestine.
- 38:53Speaker 3: And then he got kicked off the tour because Robert Kraft,
- 38:56Speaker 3: the owner of the Patriots, said he wouldn't let him
- 38:57Speaker 3: play at Gillette Stadium.
- 38:58Speaker 2: We were wondering if Ed's even going to. play this
- 39:01Speaker 2: past weekend. Yeah, he did.
- 39:03Speaker 3: There was no openers because all of his opening acts
- 39:06Speaker 3: have left the tour, but Ed came on stage and,
- 39:09Speaker 3: you know, was emotional and this is what he said,
- 39:12Speaker 3: part of what he said to the crowd.
- 39:13Speaker 16: I've had to take and make difficult decisions and I
- 39:16Speaker 16: am making mistakes and I'm so, so sorry. I don't
- 39:20Speaker 16: want to disappoint fans and I've never wanted to be
- 39:23Speaker 16: an activist musician, but this has put me in the
- 39:25Speaker 16: middle of an important and passionate argument about freedom of
- 39:28Speaker 16: speech and the most complex political issue on the planet.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Yeah, by the way, he's reading off a teleprompter. Like two.
- 39:36Speaker 2: So it's crafted by some type of marketing PR. It's
- 39:41Speaker 2: word for word crafted here.
- 39:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 2: That's see that, that, that part sucks too. Cause it's like, I,
- 39:46Speaker 2: you can't really take people. You're not speaking from the heart.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Even if you wrote like just no teleprompter, be real
- 39:56Speaker 3: with everybody and like, say, say your words here.
- 40:00Speaker 16: My concerts have always been a safe space for everyone.
- 40:04Speaker 2: And that matters hugely to me.
- 40:05Speaker 16: Honoring my commitment to my fans is also completely central
- 40:09Speaker 16: to who I am.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he ain't canceling, he says. I'm not canceling that show.
- 40:13Speaker 16: And that is why I'm here tonight on my own
- 40:16Speaker 16: and continuing my current tour. But I am deeply worried
- 40:20Speaker 16: about the idea that venues should pre-approve content of performers.
- 40:24Speaker 16: This happens in so many places that I perform around
- 40:27Speaker 16: the world, but it should never happen in the free world.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Okay. Well, uh, yeah, that's all right. And I get
- 40:33Speaker 2: it that you wanted to make an apology and everything,
- 40:35Speaker 2: but you're there though, bud, you're there. So they kind
- 40:39Speaker 2: of did it. They did it. Like you're on the
- 40:42Speaker 2: side of the, the owners of the venues who said,
- 40:46Speaker 2: Macklemore can't play here if he's going to do free
- 40:49Speaker 2: Palestine stuff. You got stuck in between, I sold 50,000
- 40:53Speaker 2: seats of people that wanted to come see me, but
- 40:55Speaker 2: there's this whole other cause that blew up in your face,
- 40:58Speaker 2: and now you're up there reading a....
- 41:02Speaker 3: He wasn't in a great situation, but I don't know
- 41:06Speaker 3: if he's played this right at all, even with the apology.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I just think it just makes it worse.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Like you're reading off a teleprompter and you're saying, yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 3: this is worrisome.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Hey, by the way, did everybody see what happened? What
- 41:20Speaker 2: I'm doing here is worse. By the way, wake up, everybody.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Fascism's here. Like, the White House is banning, like, CNN
- 41:26Speaker 2: and places from even coming. Like, it's all connected here. Like,
- 41:30Speaker 2: it's here. He did stand on stage and go, what
- 41:33Speaker 2: I'm doing right now is worrisome. Yeah. But what I'm
- 41:36Speaker 2: doing right now, this ain't great. Not great. We should
- 41:39Speaker 2: probably do something about it, but, you know, it's not
- 41:42Speaker 2: going to be Ed Sheeran. So he did perform his
- 41:45Speaker 2: show in Philly over the weekend. All right.
- 41:47Speaker 3: We'll get to another round of Steelers Facebook comments coming
- 41:51Speaker 3: up next around 825. And also, what did Coach Tomlin
- 41:55Speaker 3: say about the Steelers' crappy performance in New England on
- 41:59Speaker 3: Football Night in America last night? We'll get to that
- 42:01Speaker 3: around 825. It's Mikey and Bob. Zara Larson ripped it up, man.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Midnight Sun, the whole crowd singing it, dancing along at
- 42:12Speaker 3: our iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend in Vegas. You
- 42:16Speaker 3: will be able to stream it on Hulu on October
- 42:20Speaker 3: 1st at Disney +, if you missed any of it
- 42:23Speaker 3: from over the weekend.
- 42:24Speaker 2: We're going to be.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Talking to our buddy DJ Bonix. He was Snoop Dogg's
- 42:27Speaker 3: DJ for the iHeartRadio Music Festival and special guest Wiz Khalifa.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Closing out the show with Snoop, so we'll talk to
- 42:34Speaker 3: DJ Bonix about the iHeartRadio Music Festival and Snoop and
- 42:38Speaker 3: Wiz coming up around 8.55 here on 96.1 KISS.
- 42:41Speaker 2: It is Mikey and Bob.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Real quick, before we do another round of Steelers Facebook comments,
- 42:45Speaker 3: let's get to former Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. He,
- 42:49Speaker 3: of course, is on Football Night in America now, NBC
- 42:52Speaker 3: for Sunday Night Football, and we get his reaction to
- 42:56Speaker 3: every Steeler game now right after it, like, you know,
- 42:59Speaker 3: he's not going to sugarcoat anything.
- 43:01Speaker 2: He's paid for his opinion now. Did Tomlin roast him? Eh,
- 43:04Speaker 2: I mean.
- 43:05Speaker 15: You know, from my perspective, they don't have a place
- 43:07Speaker 15: to hang their hat. They haven't established a run. They're
- 43:10Speaker 15: not performing well enough on third down or possession down circumstances.
- 43:14Speaker 15: And to make matters worse, they're not getting yards in chunks.
- 43:18Speaker 15: And sometimes we get yards in chunks that can cover
- 43:20Speaker 15: up some other inadequacies. So they can't solve all their problems,
- 43:23Speaker 15: but they better solve at least one of these problems
- 43:26Speaker 15: and really soon.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Hey, Coach. That's how we all felt for like the
- 43:30Speaker 2: last decade here. Yeah. Exactly like that. Now that's, yeah,
- 43:35Speaker 2: it stinks, doesn't it? Coach, it kind of feels the same.
- 43:38Speaker 2: All those things. It's when you were here. It kind
- 43:42Speaker 2: of feels the same way.
- 43:43Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Steelers lose up in New England 20-3 to the Patriots.
- 43:48Speaker 3: One and one on the season. And then we read
- 43:49Speaker 3: the Facebook comments.
- 43:51Speaker 1: We are going to a very deep, dark place on
- 43:54Speaker 1: the internet. Everyone is a GM. Everyone is a coach.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Everyone is going to get traded.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Everything sucks. It's time for Steelers Facebook comments. More Steelers
- 44:07Speaker 2: Facebook comments as they lose to New England 20-3. DJF here.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Steelers offensive line couldn't block my nine-year-old. I don't know.
- 44:15Speaker 2: How big is that nine-year-old? I actually think they could.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I think they could. They'd probably break his tiny little bones. Oh,
- 44:23Speaker 2: Perry S. Is DK playing with broken hands? Jason J.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Steelers are going 1-16 this year. Oh, my God. 1-16?
- 44:31Speaker 2: Robert W. I'm a lifelong Steelers fan. I'm a 25-year
- 44:35Speaker 2: season ticket holder, and I can confidently say this is it.
- 44:40Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Really?
- 44:41Speaker 2: Really? A one in one start to the season is
- 44:45Speaker 2: too much. This is where you draw the line. This
- 44:49Speaker 2: guy sat through 25 seasons in that stadium and this
- 44:52Speaker 2: is it? Sadly, it's all about making money. these roonies
- 44:57Speaker 2: don't care about this city or the fans like their
- 45:01Speaker 2: dad did oh man after 25 years of season ticket.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Oh damn send him to the crossroads that's it he's
- 45:12Speaker 7: never coming back lifelong fan 25 year season ticket holder
- 45:18Speaker 7: wrap it up and a one-in-one start was too much
- 45:21Speaker 7: And I'm in a Miss Steeler football.
- 45:22Speaker 2: And I'm in a Miss Steeler football. Kevin W. Diddy K.
- 45:27Speaker 2: I mean DK got those hands covered in baby oil
- 45:30Speaker 2: out there. Don't do that. Joanne H. A Miss Big Ben. Careful.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Don't say his name three times in a row. He'll
- 45:36Speaker 2: show up. Don't say it. James F. here. Hold on.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Two words. All capital letters with three exclamation points. Okay.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Will Hard. Jeffrey S. If I see Aaron Rodgers give
- 45:51Speaker 2: up on another play and throw it away or throw
- 45:53Speaker 2: it at someone's feet, instead of taking a chance to
- 45:56Speaker 2: save the stats, I'm going to ninja kick my TV.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Ninja kick? Charles D. Hey, does DK Metcalf have baby
- 46:05Speaker 2: hands like Kenny Pickett has? All right. I've never looked
- 46:08Speaker 2: at his hands. Have you? Fat ass. I might sound crazy. Okay.
- 46:12Speaker 2: But maybe Tomlin wasn't the problem. Whoa! We've been told
- 46:16Speaker 2: for years that he was the problem in the Facebook
- 46:19Speaker 2: comment section. And one more here for this round. Rich D.
- 46:22Speaker 2: in the Steelers' Facebook comments.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Ah.
- 46:26Speaker 14: Hmm?
- 46:26Speaker 2: The signs of fall in Pittsburgh, colorful leaves, dropping temperatures,
- 46:33Speaker 2: changing the clocks back, and everybody upset with the quarterback
- 46:39Speaker 2: in the offense. Same as it ever was.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Another chance to try to win those sold-out Olivia Rodrigo
- 46:49Speaker 3: tickets for next week. Coming up around 9.30 this morning
- 46:51Speaker 3: here on 96.1 KISS.
- 46:53Speaker 2: It's Mikey and Bob. Let's get to this talkback message
- 46:55Speaker 2: brought to us by The Pavement Group.
- 46:56Speaker 14: I just need to give you boys.
- 46:58Speaker 4: the credit that you deserve because i have to take
- 47:02Speaker 4: my man to work he starts at five we live
- 47:04Speaker 4: an hour from his job so we have to leave
- 47:06Speaker 4: the house by four which.
- 47:07Speaker 8: Means i'm up at oh no the ass.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Crack of 3 45 in the morning yeah there is not.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Enough red bull in the world so thank you boys
- 47:15Speaker 4: for waking up and entertaining us because my.
- 47:17Speaker 3: God it's our life's work okay We give it all.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Our life's work has been to wake up and try
- 47:25Speaker 3: to make the city of Pittsburgh smile.
- 47:28Speaker 2: And laugh a little bit on their morning commute. That's it.
- 47:32Speaker 2: It's what we're here for. We drink a lot of
- 47:34Speaker 2: coffee to get through.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we do. What a nice little time we had
- 47:39Speaker 3: on a Saturday night. Me and Bob were downtown at
- 47:42Speaker 3: a PPG place, the 10th annual David Allen fashion show
- 47:47Speaker 3: to benefit Casey's clubhouse Casey's clubhouse course. They do a
- 47:52Speaker 3: great job.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Just making sure that all kids have the ability to,
- 47:56Speaker 2: to play baseball. And, you know, with, um all the
- 48:00Speaker 2: fields they build and everything sean casey's just an awesome
- 48:03Speaker 2: dude yeah we've.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Never met sean casey you know former uh major league
- 48:06Speaker 3: baseball players on mlb network all the time and everything
- 48:09Speaker 3: and that's.
- 48:10Speaker 2: The first thing he said to me is like how
- 48:12Speaker 2: have we never met before i'm like i don't know
- 48:14Speaker 2: i have no clue but it's very nice to meet
- 48:16Speaker 2: you and appreciate all the things you're doing Yeah, got
- 48:20Speaker 2: to just got it. Man, there was one picture we had.
- 48:23Speaker 2: It was just sort of like impromptu with like the
- 48:27Speaker 2: group we were just hanging around with and talking.
- 48:30Speaker 3: It's me and Bob. It's Larry Richard, right? Voice of the,
- 48:35Speaker 3: you know, of Accra sure and everything. And on KDK,
- 48:38Speaker 3: it's Larry Richard. It's Bob Pompeiani, of course, needs no introduction.
- 48:43Speaker 3: It's Bob Pompeiani. It's our buddy, Bill Crawford, who did
- 48:47Speaker 3: a great job, you know, hosting the event. And it's
- 48:51Speaker 3: Mayor Corey O'Connor and me and Bob in the one picture.
- 48:54Speaker 3: I'm like, that's a little explosion right there. That's pretty cool.
- 48:58Speaker 3: But it was a great.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Night, you know.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Got to see Josh Getzoff, our guy that, you know,
- 49:04Speaker 3: calls the games for the Pens. It's good seeing him.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I met Joe Brand. Oh, the other Penguins announcer guy, huh?
- 49:11Speaker 2: Play-by-play on the X. See, I didn't even get to
- 49:13Speaker 2: meet him. Where was he at? I i met him
- 49:15Speaker 2: randomly like yeah i was standing there i think uh
- 49:18Speaker 2: larry richard introduced him to me as we were standing
- 49:21Speaker 2: next to each other i didn't get the introduction though Dude,
- 49:24Speaker 2: I was standing there talking to him, having a full
- 49:25Speaker 2: conversation for like 15 seconds. And then it's like, oh,
- 49:28Speaker 2: have you guys ever met before? Just like, no.
- 49:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:31Speaker 2: That's what a lot of those events are like. I'm
- 49:33Speaker 2: just like, yeah, I know you're on the internet, but
- 49:35Speaker 2: we never met in real person. Like, I know you're
- 49:37Speaker 2: on the X. Are you ever in our building? He's like,
- 49:39Speaker 2: not too often. I'm like, yeah. We're up early, too. Yeah,
- 49:42Speaker 2: it was a good time. Everybody's really nice, though. Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Wiz Khalifa's manager, a good buddy of ours, Will, he
- 49:47Speaker 3: was out there and everything.
- 49:48Speaker 2: It was just good to see some people.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Thanks to David Allen and just everybody who works with
- 49:53Speaker 3: him and got it all together. Krista and everybody over there,
- 49:58Speaker 3: they just did a great job with it. You can
- 50:00Speaker 3: actually see some of our pictures up on our Mikey
- 50:02Speaker 3: and Bob Facebook page if you want to see some
- 50:05Speaker 3: of the friends we were hanging with and what our.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Suits looked like. I mean, we were head to toe Pittsburgh.
- 50:11Speaker 3: By the way, some Pittsburgh company makes socks or underwear.
- 50:15Speaker 3: That's basically all we need for the full Pittsburgh fit.
- 50:19Speaker 3: The suits were custom from David Allen. We had shoes
- 50:23Speaker 3: from John Geiger, our buddy who's a Pittsburgh designer. And
- 50:28Speaker 3: our buddies over at Henny Jewelers gave us some real,
- 50:32Speaker 3: real nice watches to wear to the fashion show. So
- 50:35Speaker 3: you can see the pictures on our Mikey and Bob
- 50:37Speaker 3: Facebook page. It all benefited Casey's Clubhouse. It was a
- 50:40Speaker 3: great night. A lot of explosion.
- 50:42Speaker 2: A lot of Pittsburgh showed up downtown for it on Saturday. Again,
- 50:47Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob Facebook page if you want to see
- 50:48Speaker 2: some pictures.
- 50:49Speaker 3: Coming up next, our iHeartRadio Music Festival happened in Vegas
- 50:53Speaker 3: over the weekend. Our buddy DJ Bonix with Snoop Dogg's DJ.
- 50:57Speaker 3: And then, of course, the surprise guest that closed out
- 51:00Speaker 3: the show.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Pittsburgh 10, Wiz Khalifa. That was a pretty cool moment
- 51:04Speaker 2: right there.
- 51:04Speaker 3: We will hear from DJ Bonix coming up next around 855.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Our iHeartRadio Music Festival happened over the weekend in Las Vegas.
- 51:15Speaker 3: You know, so many different artists, so many cool performances.
- 51:18Speaker 3: Our favorite part of this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival, near
- 51:21Speaker 3: and dear to our heart, our best buddy DJ Bonix
- 51:25Speaker 3: was Snoop Dogg's DJ as Snoop closed out our iHeartRadio
- 51:29Speaker 3: Music Festival on Saturday night in two cool moments that
- 51:34Speaker 3: I want to play for everybody. First of all, DJ
- 51:37Speaker 3: Bonix gets to yell the Snoop Dogg that we all
- 51:41Speaker 3: yell when we're listening to the next episode.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Bonix got to do it. It's the one and only
- 51:48Speaker 2: Devo Double G. Snoop Dogg! They got to do the
- 51:51Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg, y'all! So great. And then the entire iHeartRadio
- 51:55Speaker 2: Festival ends with Snoop Dogg.
- 51:57Speaker 3: He brings out Wiz Khalifa. They do Young, Wild, and Free.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Wiz does See You Again. And here is how it
- 52:03Speaker 3: all ended.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg makes some noise! DJ Bonix in this biatch.
- 52:11Speaker 2: That's how the iHeartRadio Festival ended over the weekend with
- 52:14Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg saying, DJ Bonix in this biatch. So we got,
- 52:19Speaker 2: you know, I mean, he's worked with us for like
- 52:21Speaker 2: two decades now. Our buddy DJ Bonix, what a weekend, man.
- 52:24Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 52:25Speaker 13: It's not the first time, but doing it at the
- 52:28Speaker 13: iHeartRadio Festival and just, it's just surreal to me to
- 52:32Speaker 13: be up there with Snoop and Of course, Wiz, iHeartRadio Festival.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 52:38Speaker 13: It felt like a yin-splosion there at the end of
- 52:40Speaker 13: the show.
- 52:42Speaker 2: It was pretty amazing to be with Snoop there as well.
- 52:44Speaker 3: It's very hard probably for you, right, to just normalize this, right?
- 52:49Speaker 3: Because you're part of the end of the whole festival.
- 52:52Speaker 2: And the last thing that's said on stage is Snoop
- 52:54Speaker 2: Dogg saying your name, you know? Yeah.
- 52:57Speaker 13: No i i i'm still in shock to be honest
- 53:00Speaker 13: with you and people are hitting me up watching the
- 53:02Speaker 13: stream and i i i don't know guys i can't
- 53:06Speaker 13: even explain it i was djing at like pit basement
- 53:09Speaker 13: parties like 25 years ago and yeah you know obviously
- 53:13Speaker 13: just rocking with kiss for so long so it just
- 53:16Speaker 13: really felt it was wild you know like just being
- 53:19Speaker 13: in the you know ride seacrest was back and Seeing
- 53:22Speaker 13: just all the bells and whistles in there.
- 53:25Speaker 2: It's amazing. Our buddy DJ Bonix is recapping the iHeartRadio
- 53:29Speaker 2: Music Festival for us here. I think that's good, though,
- 53:31Speaker 2: because you never lose that magic. It never becomes normalized.
- 53:35Speaker 2: It's always something special for you.
- 53:37Speaker 13: Just being around Snoop, even the big iHeart Festival executives
- 53:42Speaker 13: and everything, they're.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Just as excited.
- 53:44Speaker 13: Backstage you know it's snoop so it's like it feels
- 53:47Speaker 13: like for everybody it's it's the same thing i i
- 53:51Speaker 13: caught a moment backstage where uh snoop was giving uh
- 53:55Speaker 13: a make a wish to to uh right she must
- 53:59Speaker 13: have been only like 12 13 years old yeah just
- 54:02Speaker 13: seeing you know i don't know exactly what her story
- 54:04Speaker 13: is but you know just seeing even that moment backstage
- 54:09Speaker 13: minutes before we.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Go on it's pretty chaotic back there.
- 54:13Speaker 13: You know, you know, you're seeing like Diplo and all
- 54:17Speaker 13: these people walking around and, but Snoop, man, Snoop gets
- 54:21Speaker 13: everyone's respect. So it's, it's just so crazy being back
- 54:24Speaker 13: there and it being kind of normal.
- 54:26Speaker 2: It's, it's weird.
- 54:27Speaker 13: I'm like sitting in the room, you know, eating Snoop's
- 54:30Speaker 13: popcorn in his dressing room.
- 54:32Speaker 2: And it's just Snoop right there.
- 54:33Speaker 13: You know, I can't, I can't even explain it.
- 54:36Speaker 2: It's, it's, I don't know.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I got to give a lot of props to the, uh, the,
- 54:40Speaker 3: the young girl who wanted.
- 54:42Speaker 2: To make a wish with Snoop Dogg. Like what an
- 54:44Speaker 2: awesome wish that is, you know, like.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Did everybody have, did they have to like defumigate his, uh,
- 54:50Speaker 3: his dressing room for that moment?
- 54:54Speaker 13: You know, I'm not even sure, like she could have
- 54:57Speaker 13: picked anything in the world, but it was like, you know,
- 54:59Speaker 13: just to have, have a moment with Snoop. So, It
- 55:02Speaker 13: was pretty cool being on that side of it. Super exciting.
- 55:06Speaker 13: And people in Pittsburgh still rooting me on and sharing everything.
- 55:13Speaker 2: It's just been incredible, guys. We were so proud of you, man.
- 55:17Speaker 2: And we always are. But to see you up on
- 55:20Speaker 2: that stage like that, and I know you've worked with
- 55:23Speaker 2: us for like two decades now. And we've seen you
- 55:25Speaker 2: on so many stages before, but it never becomes normal.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I'm always sitting there smiling at you.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Uh-huh.
- 55:31Speaker 13: Yeah no it's uh it's incredible guys we're still here
- 55:34Speaker 13: we're still here and just to rep rep pittsburgh in
- 55:38Speaker 13: that whole situation like i wasn't supposed to be there
- 55:41Speaker 13: with snoop and then they told me that whiz is
- 55:43Speaker 13: going to come in and do a surprise thing so
- 55:45Speaker 13: it was just all all family in there so it
- 55:48Speaker 13: was it was very cool we're.
- 55:49Speaker 3: So proud of you we love you man and uh
- 55:52Speaker 3: you know thanks for either staying up for us or
- 55:54Speaker 3: waking up for us and uh checking in real quick.
- 55:57Speaker 15: Yeah, I know.
- 55:57Speaker 2: It's amazing, man.
- 55:58Speaker 13: Like, you know, right at the end of the show
- 56:00Speaker 13: where Snoop, you know, says, DJ Bonick's in this biatch.
- 56:03Speaker 2: It's just like crazy, guys. And then it went off air, dude.
- 56:07Speaker 2: It was the last thing that was said.
- 56:10Speaker 13: It was the last thing that was said. I doubt
- 56:12Speaker 13: it will be in the replay. But if it is
- 56:15Speaker 13: on the replay, man, I wouldn't be here without just
- 56:18Speaker 13: Pittsburgh and the support. And it's just we're still here, guys.
- 56:23Speaker 13: It's so nostalgic. And, you know, shout out to Uncle Snoop, man.
- 56:28Speaker 13: It's an incredible run so far.
- 56:29Speaker 2: It was great seeing you with Snoop and Wiz up
- 56:32Speaker 2: there crushing it at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. It's our
- 56:35Speaker 2: buddy DJ Bonix. Thanks, man. We love you, buddy. Yeah, guys.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Thank you so much. We'll tap it soon.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now,
- 56:46Speaker 3: whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Thank you. Yep.
- 56:50Speaker 2: But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
- 56:53Speaker 2: can hit that little talkback microphone. Send us a message.
- 56:57Speaker 2: You can send us a message about previous shows, the
- 57:01Speaker 2: latest show, something you want us to cover on the show.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Let us know where you're listening from, too. Oh, yeah.
- 57:07Speaker 2: That's fun, too, right? People in random places. Yeah. I
- 57:11Speaker 2: hit that little talk back microphone and you can send
- 57:14Speaker 2: us a message and maybe you'll make the show. We
- 57:18Speaker 2: are going to have tickets to go see the Steelers
- 57:21Speaker 2: on Sunday. They'll be at home taking on the Bengals. Yeah,
- 57:26Speaker 2: that'll be fun, right? Hopefully.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Hey, we're in AFC North football Thursday morning.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Be listening to our show 7 a.m. 8 a.m. and
- 57:34Speaker 2: 9 a.m.
- 57:35Speaker 3: We'll give you a Steeler player name. First person calls
- 57:38Speaker 3: with all three names that listened at 7 a.m.
- 57:40Speaker 2: 8 a.m.
- 57:41Speaker 3: And 9 a.m. You'll win some Steelers tickets for this
- 57:44Speaker 3: Sunday at home against the Bengals. It is Mikey and
- 57:47Speaker 3: Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Of course, Steelers just sucked.
- 57:51Speaker 3: It was bad. I mean, defense is good this year.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Defense ain't giving up a lot of points, but this
- 57:56Speaker 3: offense is just.
- 57:59Speaker 2: It's butt juice. It is. It's butt juice. Butt juice, yeah.
- 58:03Speaker 2: We got a butt juice offense.
- 58:05Speaker 5: Yep.
- 58:05Speaker 3: For the first two weeks. Man, DK Metcalf, first two
- 58:09Speaker 3: games of the season. Eight catches on 19 targets, four drops,
- 58:12Speaker 3: and two pass interference penalties.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Like, what the hell is going on here? Here was
- 58:18Speaker 2: Coach Mike McCarthy after the loss.
- 58:20Speaker 14: Well, offensively, I mean, clearly not good enough. And that
- 58:25Speaker 14: starts with me. Felt it in practice, frankly. You know,
- 58:29Speaker 14: coming off last week. felt we were all herky-jerky trying
- 58:32Speaker 14: to get in and out of the running pass. You
- 58:34Speaker 14: don't deliver, it just tells you you need to spend
- 58:37Speaker 14: more time on it. And what I'm referring to is
- 58:40Speaker 14: we put a lot of time and energy into the
- 58:41Speaker 14: protection component. We didn't answer the bell. But the reality
- 58:45Speaker 14: of it is the detail's not there, and that's on coaching.
- 58:47Speaker 14: It starts with me. I'm calling the offense. I have
- 58:50Speaker 14: to get the detail better. So if you need someone...
- 58:54Speaker 14: Fire away, because I felt it on Wednesday and Thursday.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I'm a veteran coach. I know better. I didn't do
- 58:59Speaker 2: a good job. Wow. It's a lot different than what
- 59:04Speaker 2: Coach Tom would say after losses. Herky-jerky meows.
- 59:08Speaker 3: But Mike McCarthy, why don't you tell us in practice?
- 59:15Speaker 3: When you talk to the media the day after a
- 59:17Speaker 3: bad practice, he said he felt it Wednesday and Thursday.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Why don't you just tell everybody and be like, ah!
- 59:24Speaker 2: Guys aren't practicing very good. I don't know if they're
- 59:27Speaker 2: focused for New England. Get focused a little bit. It
- 59:30Speaker 2: might be crap this weekend, just throwing it out there.
- 59:33Speaker 2: It's been herky-jerky. Listen, you ain't coaching the Packers no
- 59:38Speaker 2: more than the Cowboys, you know? We're your friends here.
- 59:41Speaker 2: We're your buds. Greenfield, straight shooter. Here's Mike McCarthy talking
- 59:47Speaker 2: about the offense. Well, I mean, it's two weeks.
- 59:49Speaker 14: You know, I think the big thing is it's, you know,
- 59:54Speaker 14: the buzzwords that are coming in and say everything's correctable.
- 59:57Speaker 14: You know, we can fix everything. That's a matter of fact.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: It's true.
- 1:00:02Speaker 14: But, you know, if you're making the same mistakes, those
- 1:00:04Speaker 14: are the things, whether you're young or, you know, a veteran,
- 1:00:07Speaker 14: that's what we have to address. And we've got to
- 1:00:09Speaker 14: look at the volume, too. If it's not clean, you
- 1:00:12Speaker 14: cut the volume down. And we're not clean on offense,
- 1:00:14Speaker 14: so the volume's getting cut down.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Oh, my God. The offense is dirty. volumes getting cut by.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Dirty yo uh yeah he's basically saying like all right
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: maybe we're trying too much here maybe we need to
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: like simplify the offense sure you gotta do something something's
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: gotta change i don't blame aaron rogers i don't even
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: blame mike mccartney it's the offensive line the offensive line
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: is the start of it all if you can't run
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: the ball you gotta pass the ball you can't pass
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: the ball because aaron rogers has two seconds to throw
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: the ball and he's just getting hit Five chances every
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: day this week for you to try to win sold-out
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Olivia Rodrigo tickets. She's got a couple of sold-out shows
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: next week. We got tickets for the Tuesday show at
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: the arena. All you got to do is download our
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: free iHeartRadio app and then send us the keywords as
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: we give them to you throughout the day. Your next

- 1:01:17Speaker 3: minutes here around 930 on 96.1 KISS.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: It is Mikey and Bob. Let's get to a talkback message.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: If you're on the free iHeartRadio app, hit that little
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: talkback microphone when you're streaming 96.1 KISS or if you're
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: a Mikey and Bob podcast listener. Talkback messages brought to
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: us by One Team Media.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Good morning, boys.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: I know we're all feeling real down about Steelers' loss yesterday.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Don and I. But we can turn it around because
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: this week is Fat Bear Week. It's going to be
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: a great week.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: Make sure you get out there, look at these bears,
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: and happy birthday, Bob.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: It's not Bob's birthday. Thank you. Bob's birthday is New
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Year's Day. Yeah, there's like a national park who does
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: something called Fat Bear Week every year. It's so awesome.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: It's basically just set up like a tournament and you
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: vote for your favorite fat bear.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I knew it was coming. It's like real bears. Because
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: they do it right around my birthday every year. Your
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: birthday is New Year's Day. I believe is the site
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: where you go. I should probably check the site. Fat
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: bears can take you down a weird wormhole, my friend.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Not that I went down there. FatBearWeek.com. No, that's... Yeah,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: it's good. FatBearWeek.com. Yeah, it sends you to the voting pay. Yeah,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: you're good. You're good. Just had to make sure that
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: one was good. Yeah, if you want to... It's not
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: a bunch of leathered up hairy big fellas? No, no,
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: it's not.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: No, FatBearWeek.com if you want to see some fat bears
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: and vote on them. By the way, fat bears make
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: me happy on a Steelers just losing Monday and just...
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: rainy wet dreary fall almost.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Day out today fat bears we need to uh we
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: need to hear some positivity yeah let's do a real
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: quick say something nice before we get to olivia rodrigo
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: tickets oh we Say something nice. Say something nice. Hey,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob.
- 1:03:11Speaker 12: I just want to say something nice. Say something nice.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: Say something nice.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: It's Tom. Wow. Okay, sir. Say something nice. Say something nice. Okay.
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: I just want to say something about a guy you
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: know well, Aaron Kowalczyk.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Aaron Kowalczyk. Yeah, we do know him well. We do.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Because let me give everybody the quick backstory on Aaron.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: He went to Pine Richland years and years ago. And
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: when we were sort of first starting our Stuff-A-Bus yearly
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: holiday toy drive, He got everybody together at Pine Richland,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: and still to this day, they come out every year
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: with buses and buses full of kids and toys.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: He's the guy.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: And it all started with Aaron, and so many schools
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: try to replicate what he started at Pine Richland.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: He's a full-grown adult now.
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: Recently got married, had a kid.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He flies helicopters.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he flies helicopters.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: He's married with a kid now. For the Navy.
- 1:04:09Speaker 12: He gave bone marrow to a lady years ago to
- 1:04:13Speaker 12: put some years on her life.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: I mean, okay, this... He's one of one, right? Credentials
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: are out. It's good guy credentials for Aaron Kay here.
- 1:04:23Speaker 12: She has since passed, but they got really close. If
- 1:04:27Speaker 12: the world had more people like Aaron, it would be awesome.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Thanks, guys. It would be, man. Shout out to Aaron.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: He gives us a message every year for Stuff Bus still, too.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: It's just one of those people where you're like, if
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: we multiplied him, the world might be a better place.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: Yeah!
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Say something nice. Say something nice. I think we've lost
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Bob for the rest of the show here. I know
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: since I've mentioned Fat Bear Week, Bob hasn't really been
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: paying attention. He's sort of oogling and googling at his
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: screen over there. Not the first time I've been oogling
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: and googling over fat bears on this screen. Here is
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: your chance to win sold-out Olivia Rodrigo tickets. Good luck.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Here's your next chance to win Olivia Rodrigo tickets on
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: 96.1 KISS.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Zara Larson ripped it up on Friday night out at
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: our iHeartRadio Music Festival and BTS and Cardi B and
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Lainey Wilson.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Then, of course, Snoop Dogg with surprise guest Wiz Khalifa.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: closing out the show with our buddy DJ Bonix. Of course,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: if you missed any of our iHeartRadio Music Festival, there's
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: going to be a full recap that you'll be able
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: to stream on Disney Plus and Hulu on October 1st.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Steelers lose
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: 20-3 to the Patriots, 1-1 on the season now. They

- 1:06:24Speaker 3: of course, you can always get caught up with our
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Mikey and Bob podcast through the free iHeartRadio app brought
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: to us by our good friends over at the C.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group. I was ducking some Jeeps this weekend, man.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Ducking them? Yeah.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Yesterday, I was actually out in Washington. I was out
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: by Washington Jefferson College. You got your eye out for them? Yeah,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I was leaving ducks in a couple parking lots. And
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: then I wonder if people think, like, what the hell
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: is he.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Doing all the way out here? You know? Why is
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: he here? You never know, man.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Hey, if you were eating at Walnut Grill last night,
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Washington County, and you had the Jeep in the parking lot,
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: that was me.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: All right, thanks to our friends at the C. Harper
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Auto Group. What do you want to name the podcast today, Bob?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Couch McCarthy swims in a t-shirt. Such a good one
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: for a Steelers loss podcast. I don't even remember how
