- 0:02Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Hey everyone, Justin Alan Hayes here, Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 0:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for joining us.
- 0:11Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for all the love and support you've given us.
- 0:14Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We just can't thank you enough To be with us, to support Voices for Voices in your unique way.
- 0:36Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We, as a lot of people, a lot of a lot of a lot of people, uh, a lot of individuals, uh, we, we go through phases.
- 0:52Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We go through, uh, what I'll call.
- 0:58Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, as we're, as we're growing up, you know we have different, different phases, whether that's hair, uh, dying, dyeing hair to look a certain way and adults still do that, and that's OK.
- 1:14Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Just individuals and people.
- 2:03Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We continue individuals.
- 2:04Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're human beings and so we come in all shapes and sizes, and I think that's important as we talk about our show.
- 2:20Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: People come in all shapes and sizes, all kinds of experiences, some that are similar, some dissimilar.
- 2:31Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: A wide spectrum is, uh, I guess the best way about wide.
- 2:39Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Wide spectrum, a variety of spectrum, a variety of different opinions, different experiences, uniqueness, and all of us have unique qualities that make us unique, that make us human beings, that make us who we are.
- 2:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: When we wake up in the morning or afternoon, you know we're sleeping in or if our, our work takes us into the morning.
- 3:09Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, it's, it's.
- 3:13Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's important to to not lose sight of our, our, or goals or dreams.
- 3:21Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's very important.
- 3:25Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Why?
- 3:28Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Why?
- 3:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, as we grow, not only externally, on what we see on the outside, do we grow.
- 3:41Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We grow on the inside as well.
- 3:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Do we grow?
- 3:45Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We grow on the inside as well, whether that's muscles from working out a particular mental health challenge, whatever that may be, we grow and it's important to embrace that.
- 4:07Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And that is hard because, if you're like me, and even if you're not like me, growing up right, we go through these phases, ups and downs and lefts and rights and peaks and valleys, and we think we're invincible.
- 4:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We think that nobody can match the knowledge that we have.
- 4:36Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Nobody can tell us how to act, how to live, how to behave, and that's just a fact of life.
- 4:51Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I've been there where I feel like I know everything.
- 4:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I felt like I knew everything, and then I learned something.
- 5:06Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I learned a piece of history.
- 5:10Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I learned to be a better listener, to harness my ability, my God-given ability I believe in God to to share, to talk, to communicate to you, to our listeners, our viewers, anywhere you may be, whether you're near whether you're far, whether you're near whether you're far, and that's why we we as an organization and I as a leader am so humbled at outreach that Voices for Voices has received.
- 6:33Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so that's part of that uniqueness.
- 6:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Throughout my growing pains and I mean we all think always a Throughout my growing pains and I mean we all think always about growing pains, one way or another.
- 6:50Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Never, I say never, I would have never, never twice, all right, catching myself here.
- 7:03Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Finally, it would be hard if I reverse, you know, back 20, 25 years.
- 7:12Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It would be a great age for me to be at, but I would have a hard time believing that I would be welcome that Voices for Voices, an organization I founded, will be welcome into homes, into airport terminals, airplanes, in automobiles, if you're a passenger, even if you're listening, you know, on your Bluetooth to, you know, one of our partners iHeart, iheart, odyssey, spotify, you name it It'd be hard for me to think that I would be able to share my voice.
- 8:23Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Voice because that's really, that's really what we're talking about here, with the uniqueness that you have to believe in something you gotta believe.
- 8:41Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: If you don't believe, nobody else is gonna believe.
- 8:46Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And there's times that are easier to believe and there's times that are tougher.
- 8:58Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: There are obstacles, there's hurdles, the weather changes from sun to rain, to storm, to snow to sun, and so we're constantly growing.
- 9:23Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And I've said this a lot lately and I think I, I think I I just need to share it again how grateful we are Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 9:47Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: If this is your first show, or over 240 episodes, be with us from the beginning.
- 9:57Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We wouldn't do this if there wasn't support and individuals that wanted to listen and wanted to watch.
- 10:05Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're a small organization.
- 10:09Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We are, there's no two ways about it, and that's okay, because, as I began to think about turning Voices for Voices into an organization and not just an event once a year, I felt a calling that why am I here on earth?
- 10:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: What am I here left to do?
- 10:45Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I had great times, but a lot of them are very destructive behaviors and things that happen which didn't happen, they did and they do.
- 11:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So we're here today, at this time, at the time you're watching or listening to this episode.
- 11:21Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're here because of uniqueness, because someone and that was me sometime decided that there's a lot of people in this experiences great life lessons, great tips, great suggestions, great inspiration, the thing that I think that we're here today with as many episodes and really reflecting on what all this means.
- 12:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: The average podcast, I think, has what ends up with 5 to ten episodes.
- 12:31Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Maybe they're either some that are way more than you know, they're in the thousands, and some are in hundreds, and and so that's that's where we're at.
- 12:39Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so, just being a human being and talking to you as a fellow member of humanity, there's still time.
- 13:00Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: There's still time to dream.
- 13:07Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It does not matter how young you are, how old you are.
- 13:12Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Think big dreams, go after them, have goals along the way that continue to give us encouragement at milestones, because sometimes we have goals that could be quite a ways away, could be years away, could be months away, days away, and it can be hard and it can be very discouraging when we don't see results every day, when we don't see a number that we want to see, that we're not seeing and hearing from the people we want to hear, we're're not getting the feedback, we're not getting responses, then I'll throw this out here is we're unique individuals, unique human beings, and it really just comes down to this People, organizations, they're for good or they're for bad, regardless of how a justification may come out.
- 14:51Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: That's really what life is.
- 14:52Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're either good or we're for good or we're for bad.
- 14:57Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We'll use different words and say, well, I'm a bad person.
- 15:04Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's more of how can I evade, how can I get away with particular actions, things, experiences, and I'd like to think that our TV show and podcast is just that.
- 15:31Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It stands for good.
- 15:35Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so the uniqueness of me, uniqueness of our board, the uniqueness of all our shows, the uniqueness of a variety of guests, both small and big, both celebrity and average person like me, it's important to think and to know that we have that decision Right.
- 16:14Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We know we're unique and we talked about a few of those, just examples.
- 16:21Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's not all of them.
- 16:23Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We just talked about some, talked about some and bringing that uniqueness into the forefront of what is good and what is not so good.
- 16:46Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And then so we think of like, well, who who's the judge of that?
- 16:52Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And our, our belief system is god.
- 16:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean jesus is is to judge of that.
- 17:02Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's his will to be done, not ours.
- 17:05Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Things happen in god's, not ours.
- 17:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Things happen in God's time, not ours.
- 17:10Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so there is that from a good or bad where we can take.
- 17:24Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I really want to do this, I really want to do this, but I can't.
- 17:31Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And there's hurdles, and it's easy, it's hard, it's somewhere in between.
- 17:39Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So I give up.
- 17:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We all have a voice.
- 17:53Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't need to give up.
- 17:54Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We can believe in ourselves.
- 17:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We can believe in the small things that we do that turn into a little bit bigger and a little bit bigger.
- 18:14Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So good, bad.
- 18:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: At the end of the day, god's going to be that judge.
- 18:28Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: At the end of the day, god's going to be that judge.
- 18:33Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so, voices for Voices, as we've talked about, we have quite a variety of individuals.
- 18:42Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We share opinions, we share information, we share news and we information, we share news and we leave it up to you, our viewers, our listeners, and that's the way it is.
- 19:11Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't strong arm people, we don't entice people, we don't force people.
- 19:34Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: What we look at politics, right, the most grueling thing is a presidential campaign.
- 19:39Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Good things are said, bad things are said, false things are said, true things are said, and we have that first amendment right of free speech, and so for us to be able to come to you for as many episodes as we have and as we continue.
- 20:06Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: At the end of the day, you got to look in the mirror.
- 20:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I got to look in the mirror.
- 20:10Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I got to look in the mirror.
- 20:15Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We may feel scared, we may feel afraid.
- 20:19Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We may feel fear Because we can't read the future.
- 20:33Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And those are feelings and we're allowed to feel.
- 20:37Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We need to feel, we need to be present in the moment.
- 20:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes it's hard to do because we're working on a task and then we're working on another task and then we get interrupted and then we go to a third task.
- 20:51Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We may never get back to that first task and then that's just how things go sometimes.
- 21:07Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: But don't you ever count yourself out?
- 21:09Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Don't you ever think you're not good enough?
- 21:13Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Don't you ever think that nobody is listening?
- 21:18Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Don't you think that you are alone?
- 21:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: You're not.
- 21:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm not.
- 21:24Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: What's right, what's good?
- 21:34Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: At the end of the day, before we go to bed, we look at ourselves in the mirror.
- 21:40Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: What do we see?
- 21:42Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Do we see somebody fighting for what's right?
- 21:51Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Do we see a person expression in the mirror, somebody who is so exhausted because they're working on a project, they're so passionate.
- 22:12Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's bigger than themselves, it's bigger than one thing, one person, that it's a state, a province.
- 22:26Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: A state, a province, a country, nation, world, world.
- 22:40Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So who do you see in the mirror?
- 22:43Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And are you okay with that?
- 22:49Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I talked about we continue to grow.
- 22:55Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We continue to grow.
- 22:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: If you don't like what you see, find a way to learn a little bit more about what your intentions are, what you want to do.
- 23:16Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Why aren't you, why aren't you reaching that goal or those goals?
- 23:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Why aren't you reaching those, those goals?
- 23:25Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Why aren't you reaching those, those milestones?
- 23:33Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Now, we might not accomplish every single goal, every single milestone.
- 23:37Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're not.
- 23:41Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Our time on Earth is so.
- 23:45Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's like water vapor, it's like a grain of sand on the whitest beach.
- 23:53Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We're here and then we're gone.
- 23:58Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Life is what we make of it.
- 24:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Voices for voices is what we make of it.
- 24:19Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Sharing, giving voices to the voiceless, giving voices to the voiceless, giving voices to those who have been silenced or haven't had an opportunity to share their story, because we all have a story.
- 24:46Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We all have experiences.
- 24:48Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We all could have a book written about ourselves.
- 24:51Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We all could have our biography written.
- 24:54Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So we're all unique, and I come back to there's some things we're similar at, some things that we're not, and that's okay.
- 25:10Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: What's important is, at the end of the day, you and I can look ourselves in the mirror and have a feeling of okay, today was a hard day, of okay, today was a hard day.
- 25:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It was a hard day.
- 25:33Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: However, I was able to do this one thing, and this one thing is in the direction of good, of good.
- 25:48Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So, good, bad, we have those choices.
- 26:00Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We can dislike actions.
- 26:03Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It goes right, it goes right.
- 26:07Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: The tick tock of the clock continues.
- 26:11Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So it's only a point in time that an event, an experience is occurring.
- 26:22Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Time doesn't stand still.
- 26:25Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And experiences occurring.
- 26:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Time doesn't stand still.
- 26:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And so join me, join Voices for Voices, in bringing your unique skills, ability, talents, treasures, and let us help share, share those.
- 26:55Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This isn't about me.
- 26:56Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This isn't about just voices for voices.
- 26:59Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This is about something much bigger.
- 27:02Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This is about humanity.
- 27:03Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This is again, boil it up what's right, what's wrong, what's good, what's bad, what's bad?
- 27:15Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Are there going to be times where there's going to be a toggle in between?
- 27:20Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: But at the end of the day, when we look in that mirror, where is that arrow closest to Imagine a car that has gasoline and there's an F and then there's an E and then there's a pointer or an arrow?
- 27:48Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: At the end of the day, are we half and above full or are we less than half and below and closer to empty?
- 28:04Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Again, none of us are perfect.
- 28:28Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We pick the direction.
- 28:28Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And good, always bad having a person be able to come on to the show and talk, invent and share, inspire and teach.
- 28:53Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: I got chills just saying that, because it's so hard, it's so hard in the moment to think about these things, because it's like that.
- 29:06Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: It's the rat race.
- 29:08Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Right, I gotta do this once, I do this, I'm gonna do that and I'm gonna do this and, as I mentioned, you're working on one thing and then two, and then the third one comes, and it takes a, a lot of time and then you don't really get back to thing one and if you're like I am and don't write it down all the time, might forget it and it might not cycle through our mind for another day or month or who knows.
- 29:38Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, depending on you know the, the priority, just the priority, just how things go, what's the first message that we see in the morning?
- 29:52Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Those types of things dictate a lot.
- 29:54Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And I'm not perfect, you're not perfect, nobody's perfect here on earth, and so, at the end of the day, nobody's perfect here on earth, and so, at the end of the day, my arrow is much closer to the F, much closer to the good, and so that's how I know that Voices for Voices is doing a good deed, doing a good thing, talking, sharing, inspiring, teaching you name it and we just thank you from the bottom of my heart, our board of directors and every single supporter monetarily or in spirit, or follows or likes or shares or subscribes, thank you.
- 31:09Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for joining us on the journey we call life.
- 31:15Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: This has been another episode of the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 31:21Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: If you can do us a big favor, give us a big thumbs up, subscribe, like, share all that good stuff.
- 31:28Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: All that's free to do.
- 31:29Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: And if you're able to and you want to and you're so inclined, we appreciate any and all donations, of any amount.
- 31:41Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: We are a 501c3 nonprofit charity organization and donations are 100% tax deductible.
- 31:53Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: So until next time, I am your host, founder and executive director of Voices for Justin Alan Hayes.
- 32:02Voices for Voices Founder, Justin Alan Hayes: Until next time, be a voice for you or somebody in need, we'll see you.
