- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's Mark Simone. Welcome to the bonus segment for
- 0:03Speaker 1: all you podcast listeners out there. Lots going on this week.
- 0:07Speaker 1: So Christinom, you know, got removed as head of Homeland Security.
- 0:13Speaker 1: And then there's Corey Lewandowski her what we call him
- 0:19Speaker 1: assistant chief of staff number two, but also rumored to
- 0:24Speaker 1: be a strong, rumored to be boyfriend. They were having
- 0:29Speaker 1: a apparently a long affair. Both of them married. Christinom
- 0:34Speaker 1: and Corey Lewandowski, well, now he's going to be out too,
- 0:39Speaker 1: and he was so close to her that apparently he
- 0:43Speaker 1: would carry on in the Homeland Security department, was pretty
- 0:46Speaker 1: rough on a lot of people and did a lot
- 0:49Speaker 1: of stuff. And now sources there are saying that he
- 0:53Speaker 1: used to tell people. We did not one hundred percent confirmed,
- 0:56Speaker 1: but he used to tell people, I can do whatever
- 0:58Speaker 1: I want because the President will pardon me. I can
- 1:01Speaker 1: always get a pardon from the president. Remember, in the
- 1:03Speaker 1: original twenty fifteen sixteen Trump campaign, Lewandowski was one of
- 1:09Speaker 1: the top guys in the campaign. He's always been close
- 1:11Speaker 1: to Trump, and Trump is loyal and Lewandowski's been loyal
- 1:14Speaker 1: to him. But Lewandowski may have real, real trouble here
- 1:18Speaker 1: now Congress, and this is even Republicans are talking about
- 1:21Speaker 1: investigating homeland security and Christinoam and Corey Lewandowski. The big
- 1:27Speaker 1: thing is, I mean, there was a lot of stuff.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Spending eighty million to buy a Boeing seven to twenty
- 1:33Speaker 1: seven jet and they claimed, well, it'll be used to
- 1:37Speaker 1: deport illegals. Well it's got a bar, it's got a bedroom.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It's obviously being used for them personally, a bedroom. You
- 1:46Speaker 1: do the math. So there's that. But the big thing
- 1:50Speaker 1: was spending two hundred and twenty million on TV commercials
- 1:56Speaker 1: to push, you know, illegal should deport and we're securing
- 1:59Speaker 1: the border. And her excuse was, well, the president wanted
- 2:03Speaker 1: me to get the message out. Yeah, But the problem
- 2:05Speaker 1: was it was two hundred and twenty million of TV
- 2:08Speaker 1: commercials featuring her, her with a cowboy hat, her riding
- 2:13Speaker 1: a horse. They were all about her, the commercials, and
- 2:15Speaker 1: you know, people think that she wants to crank things
- 2:18Speaker 1: up and get ready to run for president in twenty
- 2:21Speaker 1: twenty eight and work better way than they have two
- 2:23Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty million dollars worth of commercials on
- 2:26Speaker 1: the airwaves promoting you big way to kickstart a campaign,
- 2:30Speaker 1: so they think that's what it was really all about.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Now here's the problem with Corey Lewandowski. One of the
- 2:35Speaker 1: things they'll investigate was his role in the spending of
- 2:40Speaker 1: the two hundred and twenty million for the TV commercials.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You see, when you buy TV commercials, the media buyer,
- 2:48Speaker 1: the time buyer who places the commercials usually takes about
- 2:52Speaker 1: a five percent or a ten percent fee. So the
- 2:55Speaker 1: fee for the time buyer could be twenty million. Let's
- 2:58Speaker 1: say it's only five percent ten million bucks that the
- 3:02Speaker 1: time buyer would get. And they're thinking Corey Lewandowski maybe
- 3:06Speaker 1: made himself the media buyer on that two hundred twenty
- 3:09Speaker 1: million dollar campaign, which would mean a multi million dollar
- 3:12Speaker 1: profit for him. You can do that, you know. That's
- 3:15Speaker 1: how Bernie Sanders got to be so wealthy. Bernie Sanders
- 3:20Speaker 1: is a multi millionaire because the times he ran for president,
- 3:24Speaker 1: he spent hundreds of millions on TV commercials. And guess
- 3:28Speaker 1: we used for the as a media buyer. Some company
- 3:32Speaker 1: that nobody ever heard of did the media buys. Well,
- 3:34Speaker 1: it turned out after investigating the company was his wife.
- 3:40Speaker 1: So if they spent let's say three hundred million on commercials,
- 3:44Speaker 1: his wife got about thirty million in commission on it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So that's how he became so wealthy. That's how he
- 3:49Speaker 1: has four mansions, and that's how he lives so well.
- 3:52Speaker 1: So they're looking at Lewandowski for that. Now there could
- 3:55Speaker 1: be a criminal problem here. This is serious stuff, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: if he escapes that, they still could be million dollars
- 4:00Speaker 1: in legal fees. You got to defend yourself and you
- 4:03Speaker 1: go in these hearings and all that stuff. So we'll
- 4:06Speaker 1: see now the affair. He's married. She's married Christy Noom.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But people saw when she was testifying before the Congress
- 4:15Speaker 1: why the husband sat right behind her seemed to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: so supportive. People that know the husband say, he's just
- 4:22Speaker 1: an extremely religious guy, very very devoted to his Christian faith,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and he doesn't believe in divorce. He believes no matter
- 4:29Speaker 1: what happens, you must try to work through it. He's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a very religious man. He said he decided about twenty
- 4:35Speaker 1: years ago that it was his calling from God to
- 4:39Speaker 1: support her in whatever she decided to do. So he
- 4:43Speaker 1: is put up with the humiliation because of this. He's
- 4:48Speaker 1: honoring the calling from God. Family members say, well, that's
- 4:52Speaker 1: a wonderful thing to do. But if you find out
- 4:55Speaker 1: she's got Corey Lewandowski hiding in the bedroom, I mean
- 4:59Speaker 1: maybe at some point you could make an exception. So
- 5:02Speaker 1: here's she is flying all over the world in this
- 5:04Speaker 1: big jet with a bedroom with Corey Lewandowski and this
- 5:08Speaker 1: poor guy. Terrible things going on in New York. You
- 5:12Speaker 1: know that migrant, this illegal, he's an illegal Honduran migrant,
- 5:17Speaker 1: shoved two people on the New York City subway tracks.
- 5:21Speaker 1: This is Lexington Avenue sixty third Street station, Lexington Avenue
- 5:26Speaker 1: sixty third that's the subway station right under Bloomingdale's. Shoves
- 5:30Speaker 1: two people into the tracks. This is horrible. He was
- 5:34Speaker 1: arrested and charged with attempted murder, attempted assault, reckless endangerment.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But listen to this, this guy, This is what happens
- 5:43Speaker 1: when you got these Mamdani types and Kathy Hokel and
- 5:46Speaker 1: these crazy left wing judges, these left wing judges that
- 5:52Speaker 1: Democrats control the city Hall, the Governor's mansion, They controlled
- 5:56Speaker 1: the entire legal system in New York. This guy, this
- 6:00Speaker 1: illegal who shouldn't have been here anyway, This illegal Honduran
- 6:03Speaker 1: migrant has fifteen prior arrests. They just keep letting this
- 6:07Speaker 1: guy out. He's been deported four times. This is previous administrations.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Four times. He's been deported, deported, makes his way back.
- 6:16Speaker 1: He's been arrested fifteen times. He's still released on the
- 6:19Speaker 1: street and he's been arrested again. Watch Alvin Bragg will
- 6:23Speaker 1: let this guy out again. Just unbelievably, we have to
- 6:27Speaker 1: deal with this in the middle of New York City.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Stuff like this going on. Hey, Liza Minelli turns eighty.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Liza Manelli's eighty and has written a new autobiography. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: she really details a lot of stuff, a lot but
- 6:40Speaker 1: a lot of people. She goes into detail about her
- 6:44Speaker 1: torrid love affair with Martin Scorsese. Remember they did the
- 6:48Speaker 1: film New York, New York nineteen seventy seven. It was
- 6:52Speaker 1: a musical. It was de Niro, Robert de Niro and
- 6:55Speaker 1: e Liza Minelli. It's a musical called New York, New York.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And the song new York New York first appeared in
- 7:01Speaker 1: that movie. Kander and Ebb wrote it for the movie.
- 7:05Speaker 1: She sang the song new York, New York. It was
- 7:07Speaker 1: the big song from the movie. And you know she'd
- 7:10Speaker 1: sing in her concerts. But it was a couple of
- 7:12Speaker 1: years later, Sinatra was going to appear at Radio City.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Was about nineteen eighty seventy nine. I think he was
- 7:19Speaker 1: going to do a big first time Radio City, and
- 7:22Speaker 1: he asked his musical director, Vinnie Falcone, put together a
- 7:25Speaker 1: medley of New York songs. So he put together, I'll
- 7:28Speaker 1: take Manhattan and all the New York songs, you know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: And he had seen that movie New York, New York,
- 7:33Speaker 1: so he stuck that song into the medley, and it
- 7:36Speaker 1: was that opening medley that Sinatra first sang for a
- 7:39Speaker 1: few minutes of a few seconds actually New York, New York.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And at one point he said to Vinie Falcone, I
- 7:44Speaker 1: like that song, Separate that make That'll do an arrangement
- 7:48Speaker 1: for that as the whole song, and he started singing
- 7:50Speaker 1: it recording it, and of course it became one of
- 7:53Speaker 1: the most famous recordings ever, Sinatra's New York, New York.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But it comes from that movie. But we got off track.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Let's get back to. In this movie New York, New York,
- 8:01Speaker 1: lizaman Elli and Robert de Niro, Martin Scorsese is the director,
- 8:06Speaker 1: they start sleeping with each other. It gets pretty intense
- 8:11Speaker 1: by the way. At the time. She's married. Remember she
- 8:14Speaker 1: remember Jack Hayley Junior. She's married to Jack Hayley Junior.
- 8:17Speaker 1: He's married. They're having this big affair. He goes crazy
- 8:21Speaker 1: because he finds out she's also sleeping with Mikhail Bishnikoff,
- 8:25Speaker 1: the Great Dancer. She admits she's sleeping with him. She
- 8:29Speaker 1: says that ruined the relationship sort of. But what really
- 8:32Speaker 1: ruined it was drugs. I don't know why she's going
- 8:35Speaker 1: in all this detail, but she said, you know, Marty
- 8:37Speaker 1: became a heavier and heavier user of cocaine and it
- 8:41Speaker 1: got out of control. In between takes, we would be
- 8:45Speaker 1: going nuts with each other, she said. Scorsese meanwhile, was exhausted,
- 8:51Speaker 1: end up, ended up in the hospital, cheating death, she says,
- 8:54Speaker 1: because of all the drugs. Finally was Robert de Niro
- 8:58Speaker 1: who got a hold of Scorsese and gave him some
- 9:00Speaker 1: very tough love, she says, straightened him out, made him
- 9:04Speaker 1: pull himself together for the sake of his wife, his daughter,
- 9:08Speaker 1: the whole thing. In fact, then de Niro insisted in
- 9:11Speaker 1: the direct raging bull to keep him busy. That kind
- 9:13Speaker 1: of changed their lives, both de Niro and Scorsese, who
- 9:17Speaker 1: was a huge, huge Oscar winner in nineteen eighty one.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But Manelli goes into great details. She doesn't hold anything
- 9:23Speaker 1: back in this book. She even talks about her years
- 9:26Speaker 1: of alcohol, her years of drugs, and she said in
- 9:29Speaker 1: two thousand and three was so bad with the drugs
- 9:31Speaker 1: and alcohol she ended up passed out on a Lexington
- 9:35Speaker 1: Avenue sidewalk with New Yorker stepping right over her. She's
- 9:39Speaker 1: now been sober for eleven years. Last stint in a
- 9:43Speaker 1: rehab was not that long ago, twenty fifteen. But she
- 9:46Speaker 1: says she's okay now. But if you want to read
- 9:51Speaker 1: a very revealing autobiography ago I had. Hey, you know,
- 9:56Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos is married to that Lauren Sanchez, who I
- 10:02Speaker 1: guess she looks pretty good, but it's kind of a
- 10:03Speaker 1: christy gnome looking, kind of a lot of makeup, a
- 10:06Speaker 1: lot of work there on the body, on the face,
- 10:10Speaker 1: you know, like she went to a body and fender
- 10:12Speaker 1: shop or something. But so I guess they're very happy together.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But people that know Laurence Sanchez for years say she
- 10:20Speaker 1: was looking for somebody to latch onto, a billionaire, somebody
- 10:24Speaker 1: famous or something. And her friends say that at one
- 10:28Speaker 1: time she targeted Bill Clinton. She had her sight set
- 10:33Speaker 1: on the ex president Bill Clinton. In fact, she was
- 10:36Speaker 1: so busy trying to chase after him, her friend started
- 10:39Speaker 1: calling her Monica. This is about two thousand and eight.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Two thousand and nine. She did meet the former president
- 10:47Speaker 1: at one point and confided to everybody, this is the
- 10:49Speaker 1: guy she wanted, This is the guy she was targeting.
- 10:52Speaker 1: She said, Clinton was so sexy and mesmerizing. Well, I
- 10:58Speaker 1: guess so. I mean, you know when you look in
- 11:00Speaker 1: your eyes and says, hey, how are you? How are you?
- 11:02Speaker 1: And I guess that's mesmerizing. She really wanted to meet him.
- 11:05Speaker 1: She was doing some sort of ridiculous little tiny TV show,
- 11:09Speaker 1: so she wanted to get an interview with him. Couldn't
- 11:11Speaker 1: stop stop talking about it. In twenty ten, she finally
- 11:15Speaker 1: did interview Clinton. She got an interview for the TV
- 11:18Speaker 1: show Extra and fans say they noticed the flirty exchange
- 11:23Speaker 1: and they think something happened there with her and Bill Clinton.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But as she got to know Bill Clinton, she probably
- 11:30Speaker 1: found out that Bill Clinton can be very romantic when
- 11:33Speaker 1: you first meet him, but once things happen, he's not
- 11:35Speaker 1: so romantic anymore, And basically says, next, he kind of
- 11:40Speaker 1: moves on, but she got even luckier because she latched
- 11:43Speaker 1: on to Jeff Bezos. Bill Clinton can be a lot
- 11:47Speaker 1: of fun, but Jeff Bezos worth a three hundred billion
- 11:51Speaker 1: that can be even more fun in some ways. Hey,
- 11:54Speaker 1: there's a big push to reopen Indian Point, our nuclear
- 11:58Speaker 1: power plant. You know, Andrew Cuomo did so many dumb
- 12:02Speaker 1: things as governor that did so much damage to New York.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He created the whole crime wave. He pushed and signed
- 12:09Speaker 1: that no Bail, No Jail, that insane thing that let
- 12:12Speaker 1: all the criminals loose. He closed prisons and let the
- 12:16Speaker 1: prisoners out, helped contribute to the crime wave. I mean,
- 12:20Speaker 1: just dumb stuff can go on and on. He redid
- 12:23Speaker 1: the parole board, he took everybody off, and he replaced
- 12:25Speaker 1: them with the most left wing wackos that let every
- 12:28Speaker 1: criminal out of prison. And then on top of all that,
- 12:31Speaker 1: he closed Indian Point, which is twenty five percent of
- 12:35Speaker 1: our energy, so it drove everybody's electric bill up twenty
- 12:38Speaker 1: five percent. There was no reason to close it. It's
- 12:41Speaker 1: perfectly safe. It's even safer now because there's all kinds
- 12:45Speaker 1: of new technology. You know, what about the what about
- 12:48Speaker 1: the spent fuel? The empty fuel rods that have to
- 12:51Speaker 1: be removed. All kinds of technology now that makes us
- 12:54Speaker 1: easy to clean and perfectly safe. So everybody wants Indian
- 12:58Speaker 1: Point reopened it. Betwe twenty five percent more electricity. Everybody's
- 13:02Speaker 1: electric bill would come down a lot. But the problem
- 13:05Speaker 1: is Kathy Holkls the governor. You got to push her
- 13:08Speaker 1: to reopen it. When Bruce Blakeman's the governor, it'll open
- 13:11Speaker 1: the next day. But big push for her to reopen it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: A lot of people pushing that. Now. Again she's a
- 13:19Speaker 1: left wing or pretending to be a left wing kook.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Won't do anything before election time. Another reason you got
- 13:24Speaker 1: to vote for Bruce Blakeman for governor. Fix all this stuff,
- 13:28Speaker 1: open Indian Point, bring down electric costs, get rid of
- 13:31Speaker 1: the no bail, no jail, put the parole board back
- 13:34Speaker 1: to people who are against criminals getting out that sort
- 13:38Speaker 1: of stuff. Hey, we're out of time. This has been
- 13:40Speaker 1: the bonus segment for you podcast listeners. We really appreciate
- 13:44Speaker 1: you listening. I'll see you Monday ten o'clock. Thanks for everything.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Mark Simone here, talk to you Monday.
