- 0:06Speaker 2: Let's go roll the intro all right, all right, yo
- 0:15Speaker 2: day and.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Do your life from Billy. It's the number one rated
- 0:19Speaker 3: Molly and Tony Foolsco.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Show.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Yo Yo, y'all as always Polly Fools go here with
- 0:25Speaker 1: Tony Foolsco. And Tony Yo huge show today. Oh yeah,
- 0:32Speaker 1: we're so excited, yep, not just because we're talking NFL,
- 0:35Speaker 1: but you know we don't have to talk NBA anymore.
- 0:38Speaker 2: So you know, NBA who can't.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Nobody cares anyway. That's not the only thing we're celebrating.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You know, it's morning in the NFL again. It is
- 0:47Speaker 1: time in twenty seven years or whatever it's been, we
- 0:49Speaker 1: don't have to watch that hack Tom Brady. And to
- 0:53Speaker 1: celebrate this, we're doing two big things. First, we're putting
- 0:57Speaker 1: two classic anti Brady designs for say, in.
- 1:00Speaker 4: The official foods.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So beautiful, so go check them out and you know,
- 1:04Speaker 1: buy them and buy a money you know. The second,
- 1:08Speaker 1: we're bringing on today the True Bucks Super Bowl quarterback.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, legend, the original undo one in front of fans,
- 1:17Speaker 1: not taking the easy way out during COVID in front
- 1:20Speaker 1: of socially distanced, not game regulated crowd size.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, that was that shouldn't count exactly.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Anyway, Brad Johnson will be joining us, and you know
- 1:30Speaker 1: we're going to point out what he and Dion Sanders
- 1:33Speaker 1: have in common.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yep. And guess what his mind is gonna explode yep.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And you know that's a perfect segue, tony, because you know,
- 1:42Speaker 1: if there's one thing you don't want, it's for your
- 1:44Speaker 1: car to explode. And that's why it's time right now
- 1:48Speaker 1: for a message from our good friends at Advance Auto Pots.
- 1:52Speaker 1: When your car breaks down, do you hire another man
- 1:55Speaker 1: to fix it?
- 1:57Speaker 4: What are you put?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah? Real and fix their own. Cause.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Like the other day, I was at Advance Auto Pots
- 2:05Speaker 4: when I ran into my aunt Marie and her boyfriend Nunzio.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Nunzio's a real man because he knows how to fix cars. Now,
- 2:13Speaker 4: it sounded like some pot had come loose in Nunzio's
- 2:16Speaker 4: nineteen eighty seven Oldsmobile because he told me that he
- 2:20Speaker 4: and my aunt were trying to figure out how they
- 2:22Speaker 4: could screw in the backseat. And you know what, let's
- 2:27Speaker 4: just finish the story another time.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Let's just keep going here.
- 2:30Speaker 4: About that later anyway.
- 2:31Speaker 1: In the meantime, go to Advance autobots dot com, use
- 2:34Speaker 1: the promo code fusco and get a free six CD
- 2:37Speaker 1: changer with any purchase. Offer expires June first, two thousand
- 2:41Speaker 1: and two. Advance Auto Pots.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Boa another check in the may.
- 2:46Speaker 1: That's right, don'ty's how you do it. Let's get right
- 2:48Speaker 1: into our top story story.
- 2:53Speaker 2: First out the gate.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know, it may be the start of the NFL season,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but the biggest story in sports comes out of college.
- 2:59Speaker 1: For ball, of course, we're talking about Dion Sanders winning
- 3:03Speaker 1: his first game as head coach of Colorado by a
- 3:06Speaker 1: decisive score of forty five to forty two.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Wasn't even close, No, not at all.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But of course, you know, the biggest story in the
- 3:14Speaker 1: game was the performance of Dion's Sun quarterback Shadeur Sanders
- 3:19Speaker 1: and Dony This performance could have a huge impact, not
- 3:22Speaker 1: just on football, but the entire human race.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Isn't that right?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 3:27Speaker 4: You know, all these college coaches spend so much time
- 3:30Speaker 4: recruiting other people's kids, but Dion is making everyone realize
- 3:36Speaker 4: that all they have to do is just produce their
- 3:39Speaker 4: own kids. I mean, if you're in the NFL Hall
- 3:42Speaker 4: of Fame and we talk about building the DNA of
- 3:45Speaker 4: a football team, wouldn't it make more sense to build
- 3:49Speaker 4: a team using your own actual DNA? Great point, Tony.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I mean, you know you talk college recruiting, Well, what
- 3:57Speaker 1: an edge in college recruiting if the only travel you
- 4:00Speaker 1: gotta dooz, you know, walk downstairs to the living room
- 4:03Speaker 1: and go, hey, you're on the team.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 4: You know, I don't like to get religious on this show,
- 4:09Speaker 4: but as it says in the Bible, be fruitless and multiply,
- 4:13Speaker 4: and well, the Bible is the ultimate playbook, so beautifully
- 4:19Speaker 4: said Tony.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And that leads us to another big story out of
- 4:23Speaker 1: college football. You know, people are once again calling Urban
- 4:26Speaker 1: Maya a quote pervert because he was once again spotted
- 4:31Speaker 1: on camera making apparent overtures to a woman half his
- 4:35Speaker 1: age while he's still married. But you know, Tony, when
- 4:38Speaker 1: you break this whole thing down, this criticism is just
- 4:41Speaker 1: totally misguided, isn't it.
- 4:43Speaker 2: One hundred percent?
- 4:44Speaker 4: I mean, if a cameraman catches Urban Maya hitting on
- 4:48Speaker 4: a girl, then why don't we call the cameraman a pervert?
- 4:51Speaker 4: He's the one holding the camera doing the peeping, and
- 4:55Speaker 4: why are we faulting Urban Maya here? Shouldn't we praise
- 4:59Speaker 4: him for being so attractive? He's clearly a great recruiter
- 5:03Speaker 4: of men and women.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Great points all around, Tony.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And now let's move to a developing story out of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the NFL, A big scare for the Kansas City Chiefs
- 5:14Speaker 1: as Dianne. Travis Kelcey is dealing with a knee injury
- 5:18Speaker 1: that as many people questioning his availability heading into the season. Now,
- 5:22Speaker 1: as journalists, it is so important that we handle this
- 5:27Speaker 1: story delicately because there is nothing more serious than an
- 5:31Speaker 1: injury which could potentially impact a player's career. So true
- 5:36Speaker 1: on the story, we are going to refrain from commenting,
- 5:39Speaker 1: isn't that right?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Tony? Absolutely, At a time like this, it would be
- 5:44Speaker 4: so easy to say something like his knee gave out
- 5:48Speaker 4: from having to carry the team, or the Chiefs got
- 5:51Speaker 4: the wrong Kelsey brother, or something like how Travis Kelcey
- 5:56Speaker 4: will be on crutches like he's been a crutch for
- 5:59Speaker 4: the over rated Patrick Mahomes. You see that stuff we
- 6:03Speaker 4: won't say in a moment like this, You.
- 6:06Speaker 1: See, people, that's the professional way you handle it. So
- 6:10Speaker 1: please do it by your classes, take notes kids trying
- 6:14Speaker 1: to come up in the business outside.
- 6:15Speaker 4: You do it on that.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We're gonna move to the team the Eagles, who you know,
- 6:21Speaker 1: technically did beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but
- 6:24Speaker 1: that's not they all know there, you know, moving into
- 6:26Speaker 1: the season. Now it's time for us to give our
- 6:28Speaker 1: official prediction. You know, and you know, we know your
- 6:31Speaker 1: people out there. You think, oh, you know, Paulie Tony,
- 6:34Speaker 1: they're just gonna predict that the Eagles are gonna go
- 6:36Speaker 1: seventeen and zero.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Crazy dark people.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Come, we're professionals.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Yep. Here's what we're gonna do.
- 6:42Speaker 1: We're just gonna break down their schedule week by week
- 6:45Speaker 1: to show you what's going to happen exactly.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So exactly. They're gonna lay it out for you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Week one at the Patriots win, Week two hosting the
- 6:54Speaker 1: Vikings win. Week three at Buccaneers win. Week four hosting
- 7:01Speaker 1: the Commanders.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Win by seventy points.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Week five at the Rams, their QB's too old.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Win.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Week six at the Jets.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Their QB's even older. Win.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Week seven hosting the Dolphins.
- 7:18Speaker 2: They'll have a backup QLB at that point. Win.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Week eight at the Commanders win by four feit Week
- 7:27Speaker 4: nine hosting the Cowboys, easy win all right, week tends
- 7:31Speaker 4: a bye, Week eleven at the Chiefs, Travis Kelcey probably
- 7:37Speaker 4: still out. Win Week twelve hosting the Bills, overrated. Win
- 7:43Speaker 4: Week thirteen hosting the forty nine ers.
- 7:45Speaker 2: We beat them last year. Win Week fourteen at the Cowboys.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Trey Lance will be their QLB at this point, but
- 7:53Speaker 4: still win. Week fifteen at the Seahawks.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Boring WINX hosting the Giants, win by ninety points.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Week seventeen hosting the Cardinals. Week eighteen at the Giants.
- 8:08Speaker 4: They'll lose both these games as they rest their starters
- 8:11Speaker 4: and second string for the playoffs, but these games will
- 8:15Speaker 4: still be very very close, only two or three point losses,
- 8:20Speaker 4: so they have it.
- 8:20Speaker 1: People fifteen into totally reasonable yup, as the Eagles, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 1: head for the Super Bowl again, and we'll all down
- 8:28Speaker 1: that subject book at that, Tony, on the subject to
- 8:30Speaker 1: super Bowls, we're going to bring on someone who's won one.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Here we go. It's time to go on the Fusco
- 8:35Speaker 4: Satellite Network.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Fusco Satellite the world.
- 8:40Speaker 1: All right, as we continue celebrating the first season in
- 8:43Speaker 1: forever that we don't have to watch Tom Brady. Oh
- 8:45Speaker 1: thank god, we bring on the original more noteworthy Bucks
- 8:49Speaker 1: super Bowl quarter like. Yeah, there you go, a man
- 8:52Speaker 1: who also played for the Vikings and unfortunately for him,
- 8:55Speaker 1: the Cowboys, you know, terrible, which we'll get into. Yeah,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you can see him now on tik talk doing trick
- 9:01Speaker 1: shots under the name Big Bad Brad Fotea.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Go give him a follow.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I don't know if this is an impressive career move
- 9:07Speaker 1: or sad, but whatever, you know, we'll just bring him
- 9:10Speaker 1: in here. Brad Johnson, welcome to the show.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Welcome back.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Oh, I appreciate you. Yeah, the second time on your
- 9:16Speaker 3: show could be better. Use this Big Bad Brad got
- 9:20Speaker 3: popular man popular on the East Coast, popular, West Coast
- 9:23Speaker 3: and everywhere between.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Wow, that was quite the opener there.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, quite a promotional here. We always love Ringling
- 9:32Speaker 1: Bottom and Bailey. Okay, anyway, look, you know, before we
- 9:36Speaker 1: get into it, I don't mean to bring you down here,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but you know we do need to acknowledge. You know,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you got to that Super Bowl in two thousand and two,
- 9:43Speaker 1: whenever it was. You know, Donovan McNabb had a terrible
- 9:47Speaker 1: game in that two thousand and two NFC Championship. You
- 9:49Speaker 1: know one pick two fumbles? Doesn't that taint the title
- 9:53Speaker 1: for you? You know you didn't face McNabb at his best.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You know, a guy who would normally crush you like
- 9:58Speaker 1: a mosquito?
- 9:59Speaker 2: Does that?
- 9:59Speaker 4: Do you do?
- 10:00Speaker 2: You stay up at night thinking about that all the time.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I wear my blank everywhere I go just for you.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Go.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Hey, we shut down the Vet, we opened up the Lincoln.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Let me tell you, are you kidding me?
- 10:14Speaker 4: I'll put you in the trunk of a Lincolna.
- 10:16Speaker 2: We're gonna tell you in the trunk of a LinkedIn.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I'll tell you this. We came up there October twentieth
- 10:21Speaker 3: of that same year, and I felt like I was.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I felt like I was. I felt like Rocky Balboa.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I got beat up. I had cracked ribs all day
- 10:32Speaker 3: above and then we came back up there. Remember that game,
- 10:34Speaker 3: the NFC Championship.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Your Rocky Balboa? No, No, we got, I got.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I got.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Who's a brother? That's who you are? All right?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Steve Drago.
- 10:46Speaker 3: That's right, that's right. I remember that guy.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So what happened? So story you came back up there
- 10:51Speaker 2: and the defense carried you.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Yeah, That's exactly what happened.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember Keishawn Johnson catching a slam right then
- 11:00Speaker 3: the end zone doing there. I remember that one. I remember,
- 11:05Speaker 3: uh you know, I remember the great Jojo Vish Remember
- 11:07Speaker 3: that played triple left eighty three doublesmassone's option.
- 11:11Speaker 4: And nobody remembers although Joe go Philly special.
- 11:15Speaker 2: He just looked up and the ball was there. Lucky.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But you know, you do bring up a good point
- 11:19Speaker 1: here that we do want to segue though, is you know,
- 11:21Speaker 1: people think Tom Brady winning the Super Bowl at Tampa
- 11:24Speaker 1: was so great, but you know Tom Brady disagreed. He
- 11:27Speaker 1: had great players on that team. You know, he had
- 11:29Speaker 1: Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski. You know, you had a bunch
- 11:33Speaker 1: of kind of mediocre and players, you know, players who
- 11:36Speaker 1: really are kind of ship all around.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Doesn't that make.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Your your super Bowl and more meaningful, more impressive in
- 11:42Speaker 1: that way?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you can only have one first. So we were
- 11:47Speaker 3: the first ones to win it, you know what I
- 11:49Speaker 3: mean to bring bring the championship there. And then Tom
- 11:51Speaker 3: came later twenty years later. I think he was just
- 11:54Speaker 3: had won a playoff game in twenty years, So grateful
- 11:57Speaker 3: Tom did that. But now you know what. Actually our team,
- 12:01Speaker 3: John Gooden came in there. He brought in a bunch
- 12:04Speaker 3: of pre agents, brought in u Joji r. Vicious, Keen, McCardell,
- 12:10Speaker 3: Michael Pittman.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Guys who were.
- 12:14Speaker 3: He brought in a bunch of guys, you know what
- 12:16Speaker 3: I mean? But he got us going. We had four
- 12:17Speaker 3: guys that have made the Hall of Fame.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And your own being kind of mediocre at football and
- 12:23Speaker 1: somehow won a super So that's what really the story, that's.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Why you deserve more credit than Tom Brady and that team,
- 12:30Speaker 2: the super team they formed, that's.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Right, there's no doubt about that. We were grown from within.
- 12:36Speaker 3: We were that team and uh na, man, those guys
- 12:39Speaker 3: they were great, but I think we were. There could
- 12:41Speaker 3: only be one first, and that was us.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Wasn't it harder for you? You guys had to play
- 12:46Speaker 4: in front of full crowds? Tom Brady, they had a
- 12:48Speaker 4: socially distanced crowd. They were like cardboard cutouts that they
- 12:51Speaker 4: played in front of. That's much easier than what you
- 12:54Speaker 4: guys had to play in front of ruckous crowd.
- 12:56Speaker 3: So true, he had no media, had no crowd, noise,
- 13:02Speaker 3: no pressure, players game at home, no pressure, got to
- 13:05Speaker 3: play the Super Bowl at their own Raymond.
- 13:07Speaker 2: James another great point.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Exactly, he is so easy to win the Super Bowl,
- 13:11Speaker 4: so easy.
- 13:12Speaker 2: For Tom Brady. It's like they laid it out for him.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Pathetic, you know.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Anyway, Pat on the back to you. Now, let's talk
- 13:19Speaker 1: about the Buccaneers here. You know they opened the season
- 13:22Speaker 1: against the Vikings. You look at both those teams, who
- 13:25Speaker 1: do you as the best chance of winning the NFC?
- 13:29Speaker 3: You know what, I played for both of those teams.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Had nine years in Minnesota, had four years in Tampa.
- 13:34Speaker 3: So I'm trying to, like clip a coin, who I'm
- 13:36Speaker 3: pulling for here. It's one of those games. But you
- 13:38Speaker 3: know what, it's interesting Cousins remember him on the Netflix
- 13:42Speaker 3: the quarterback. Yes, I think that's who he is. He's
- 13:46Speaker 3: a proven guy. We got Baker Mayfield here, he's coming in.
- 13:51Speaker 3: He's on his Dick coordinator. Yeah, five six years, so
- 13:58Speaker 3: Baker's he's gonna be in for sure. I think it's
- 14:00Speaker 3: gonna be a great game. I really do that.
- 14:03Speaker 4: You know you didn't even Yeah, it's gonna be.
- 14:05Speaker 1: It's gonna be zero zero And that's what I predict
- 14:08Speaker 1: in the They're gonna hold each other and say kumbaya.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Gee, they're gonna sing around the key, gonna who has
- 14:18Speaker 4: a better chance of winning the NFC the Bucks of
- 14:21Speaker 4: the Vikings in your opinion.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Man, I'm stuck. I'm stuck. Maybe they're playing against each
- 14:31Speaker 3: other championship game. I am correct.
- 14:35Speaker 2: It was a trick question, brand question.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I can't get stuck in there. I can't get stuck
- 14:39Speaker 3: in the middle there. I can't do it question the
- 14:43Speaker 3: next question.
- 14:44Speaker 4: You know, we want to move to another topic. You
- 14:46Speaker 4: know we discussed earlier in the show, Dion Sanders and
- 14:49Speaker 4: more importantly, the incredible performance from unbelievable quarterback Shudur Sanders.
- 14:55Speaker 4: You know, we see, you know, all these college coaches,
- 14:57Speaker 4: they spend all this time recruiting other people those kids,
- 15:00Speaker 4: when they should just simply produce their own kids. I mean,
- 15:03Speaker 4: look at you, Brad.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You know you have two sons, right, they're playing football
- 15:07Speaker 1: at Texas A and M right, So you think it's
- 15:10Speaker 1: just a waste of time to recruit players from these
- 15:13Speaker 1: loser parents who have never played football and have you know,
- 15:16Speaker 1: loser DNA in them when they should be getting you know,
- 15:19Speaker 1: pro with kids of pro parents.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's always in the blood in the blood lines.
- 15:25Speaker 3: That's how they do the Kentucky Derby. That's how they
- 15:27Speaker 3: should pick their national championships, and how you should pick
- 15:29Speaker 3: your quarterbacks heading to the pros by the blood lines. Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 3: you have you seen Kirby's kids. He's unbelievable. Smart, won
- 15:37Speaker 3: a couple of national He'll probably be ahead, He'll probably
- 15:39Speaker 3: win a couple Nations championships as a coach.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You see there you go that championship DNA being ship headed. Right, Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you smart getting it done on the field and in
- 15:48Speaker 1: the bedroom, just like Dion Sanders and you great work
- 15:53Speaker 1: by you. The field, the bedroom is your field. All right,
- 15:57Speaker 1: let's seny.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Now we're going to go to a source subject for you.
- 16:00Speaker 4: All right, source subject.
- 16:01Speaker 1: You know, unfortunately for you you had to play for
- 16:04Speaker 1: the Cowboys for.
- 16:05Speaker 4: A few years in your career.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Horrible.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But you know, we pointed out something on the show
- 16:08Speaker 1: last week that just had everyone talking. You know, we
- 16:11Speaker 1: showed that the best Cowboys QBS had four letter first
- 16:17Speaker 1: names that started with T and ended with got Troy.
- 16:23Speaker 4: You got Troy Tony and now you have Trey.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So that leads to the question, Brad, that's so obvious
- 16:30Speaker 1: here you know when you got to Dallas, were you
- 16:32Speaker 1: worried because your name, albeit having four letters, started the
- 16:37Speaker 1: wrong letters?
- 16:40Speaker 3: You know what, I wasn't drafted by Dallas. That was
- 16:43Speaker 3: the problem, you know what I'm saying?
- 16:46Speaker 1: No, so they couldn't do a great thing. What do
- 16:49Speaker 1: you mean, so you're drafted by Dallas? But that's another story,
- 16:54Speaker 1: all right?
- 16:55Speaker 3: Go yeah, bringing in Trey, which starts with a tea
- 16:59Speaker 3: and a.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And with the yes, same Troy Tony Trey.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Don't you see I should have changed my name, yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 4: like Terry with just one R maybe or something. I
- 17:15Speaker 4: don't know, just throwing it out there. But you know,
- 17:19Speaker 4: we saw this poll.
