- 0:00All right. Hey, everybody. Welcome to Horror Movie Mavens.
- 0:04I'm your host, Bad Luck Bill, here to guide us through our viewing of today's
- 0:08experience. It's our maiden voyage.
- 0:10Maybe a little bit of bugs here and there, but we'll work through some stuff.
- 0:13We're going to be reviewing the movie Trick or Treat And it's an er,
- 0:20not an or Which can kind of screw some people up Joining me on our maiden voyage
- 0:25for the first time out on the road Live is Tombstone Tom Introduce yourself, Tom,
- 0:32Hello, everyone This is Tombstone Tom I've been good friends with Bill for a
- 0:37long time And hopefully, as my name implies,
- 0:39I don't end up burying this movie in
- 0:42the village all right yeah i like that okay
- 0:45so it's tom and also joining us a maven with
- 0:49the most so startled sassos say hi
- 0:52sassos hello everybody all right i'm happy to be here the white trouble steve
- 0:57harvey little known to a lot but i am just happy to be on this call happy to
- 1:03watch movies again that aren't cgi kid movies and just happy to talk about them
- 1:08excellent yeah for sure excellent well,
- 1:12That's what brings us here right Let's get down to the down and dirty Review
- 1:16of Trick or Treat It's Warner Brothers picture Rated R.
- 1:222007 it was produced,
- 1:24But it only came out in 2009. There was a lot of problems with the production of the movie.
- 1:29It got hung up with some issues with the writer and the director,
- 1:35who are the same person, Michael Daughtry,
- 1:37who actually had writing credit on a movie called the Superman movie.
- 1:45And that bombed for Warner Brothers.
- 1:48I think it was Superman Returns. That bombed. So what they did was instead of
- 1:52putting out another movie with
- 1:54his name attached to it, they kind of shelved it for a couple of years.
- 1:58And it had some weird fame and got some cult following on like the indie circuit.
- 2:04And it sort of sat on Warner Brothers shelves for a long, long time until it
- 2:08went straight to DVD in 2009.
- 2:11So it has kind of a sordid history. It's considered a horror movie, a dark comedy.
- 2:16Sort of campy aspects to it But it
- 2:19kind of harkens back to a lot of the same stuff That we really do enjoy from
- 2:23horror movies Kind of like a kid feel to it Almost young and innocent And then
- 2:28it kind of turns super dark all of a sudden Takes a hard left turn somewhere
- 2:31along the line And hopefully we'll talk about that a little bit And get into
- 2:35some of the nitty gritty On where exactly it is turning left.
- 2:39The original tagline to the movie Let me get your guys' opinion on this,
- 2:43poison drowning claw or knife
- 2:47so many ways to take a life that's what's
- 2:50on the movie poster i think that tagline is horrible but
- 2:54let me get your guys opinion on that tom what do you think about the
- 2:58original tagline to trick-or-treat that literally
- 3:01gives away the movie yeah a little a little
- 3:04i guess it's sort of supposed to be a poem but i
- 3:09don't know sassus what do you think about poison drowning claw
- 3:12or knife so many ways to take a life as a
- 3:15tagline i mean that's just
- 3:18a general horror thing yeah i don't know i
- 3:20i i think it could have involved some you know different
- 3:23things i mean like you know very different things going on in that movie yeah
- 3:29or wolves yeah exactly there's a lot to draw from and i don't know for me it
- 3:35sort of screams generic and non-descriptive and I don't know.
- 3:41It could really apply to any horror movie, I guess.
- 3:45But like I said, that literally gives away each story.
- 3:51Sort of does, right? That's exactly what it does, actually.
- 3:55I didn't actually catch on to that. But yeah, it's sort of that.
- 4:00You're welcome. Thank you for unlocking that.
- 4:04Tombstone Town. I'm here all night. The first big victory of the day.
- 4:08Put in general raves. Put in general raves.
- 4:12The run time of this picture is an hour and 22 minutes, so it's in the middle
- 4:18of the road as far as not too long in the tooth but not so short. You want to get.
- 4:23Sitting there leaving you wanting more it's starring Anna Paquin as Laurie Brian
- 4:27Cox our favorite one of our favorites as Mr.
- 4:30Keeg with the strange prosthetic nose and
- 4:33get up and Dylan Baker as Steven our
- 4:36our dad who likes to bury people in his backyard I
- 4:39don't know serial killer somewhat I don't
- 4:42know what's going on with with Steven but in principle so
- 4:46in principle around sit down charlie yeah
- 4:50exactly yeah so we went over who
- 4:53directed and wrote it it's michael daughtry he has
- 4:56writing and directing chops
- 5:00as far as horror movies are concerned with
- 5:03krampus i don't know if either of you guys saw krampus
- 5:06but i thought that was pretty decent i didn't is
- 5:09he wrote krampus i think he i think
- 5:12he did both i think he wrote and directed it and he
- 5:15he had a writing or i'm sorry a directorial credit
- 5:18on godzilla king of the monsters one
- 5:21of those new godzilla movies so he's got some chops i
- 5:24mean you know the guy's got some experience this is kind of early
- 5:27on in his career superman thing yeah yeah and it was only his writing was only
- 5:33him and brian singer got writing credit on that and i guess writing credit is
- 5:39kind of a i don't know it probably like it probably was a road bump in his career
- 5:44a little bit because it didn't turn out too well but but.
- 5:47So this movie sort of has Creepshow vibes. I don't know if either of you guys
- 5:51have seen Creepshow or a movie called Cat's Eye. It's in the style of those horror movies.
- 5:56It follows Sam, I guess, a Halloween spirit,
- 5:59kind of like a spooky boy with a burlap sack over his head who kind of observes
- 6:04most of the time, observes different stories that occur within the Halloween
- 6:08night of a small town in Warren Valley, which is a fictional town.
- 6:13Warren Valley, Ohio does not exist. oh i'm yeah i was kind of shocked by that
- 6:19too but i was trying to look that up yeah ohio.
- 6:24I'm not going to that day i'm not going to that town whatsoever
- 6:27it sort of gives i don't know
- 6:29i've never been to salem massachusetts but that's what i
- 6:32would assume salem is like during the halloween festivities like total balls
- 6:37out ready to rock for halloween and everybody just doing their thing the film
- 6:42was really it was filmed in vancouver canada so oh canada oh go figure,
- 6:51and it follows five interlocking stories one of a principal with a secret life
- 6:57the second is 20 somethings looking for halloween fun a group of teenagers looking
- 7:03for a trick or treat trick,
- 7:06The fourth is a middle-aged, 30s-type couple that have a difference of the importance
- 7:11of Halloween. They have a difference of opinion.
- 7:13And the fifth is an old recluse with a terrible attitude towards Halloween and a dark past.
- 7:20So it's sort of the movie in itself, if we're going to take it to a super...
- 7:26Literary level it sort of is a
- 7:29timeline right it's a story that kind of works as a
- 7:32timeline of how we see halloween through our teenage years to
- 7:35our 20s and our 30s and our 40s and then beyond when we're old and jaded and
- 7:40don't want to leave the house or decorate for any reason and hopefully not kill
- 7:44a bunch of kids on buses so here we go a few more stats before i actually get
- 7:49the the review on the road and have to stop talking for a little while which
- 7:53i'm begging for yeah please
- 7:56enough already the death totals right it's
- 7:5910 to 12 depending on if you count certain
- 8:02off-screen deaths if you count off-screen deaths
- 8:05i think it puts the total up to like 20 or
- 8:08some odd like random dudes just at the werewolf
- 8:11bash or whatever i don't count them because
- 8:14you know what quite frankly i don't know who these people are other than the
- 8:18the weird baby guy and the guy dressed up like a hobbit i don't really know
- 8:21any of those other dudes that got tore up um and that's that's kind of it that's
- 8:27the stats of the movie does anyone have anything to throw out before we go to the the play-by-play,
- 8:34All right, cool. All right. Sassos first. What's up?
- 8:39Anything? Anything? My bad. Yeah, so as we were watching this movie,
- 8:45I thought, you know, hey, this is very cliche, like not really spooking me out
- 8:50because, again, my name says it all.
- 8:51I am horrified of real scary movies.
- 8:54And so I am like watching this thing. I mean, I'm like talking to my wife about
- 8:59this for days in advance. I'm like, I don't want to watch this.
- 9:02I'm scared. and finally I started watching this. I'm like, oh, it's not so bad.
- 9:07And then as I'm like halfway through the movie when shit is really getting in
- 9:11the thin, my nine-year-old wakes up in the middle of the night as I'm watching
- 9:16the movie and totally scares the shit out of me.
- 9:18And so that was very, it's so startled moment number one for me.
- 9:24So, I mean, it was just perfect timing and we're going to talk about that in a little bit.
- 9:29Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Tom what kind of opening thoughts do you have,
- 9:34Alright so As a general thought Of the horror movie You know This is a great Halloween movie,
- 9:42It just sets the general vibe of Halloween Like watching it I'm just like oh
- 9:48man This is Halloween This is why I love the season Yeah it's the essence of it right,
- 9:54It's a season for a reason Yeah for sure and why Sassus is so startled there
- 9:59you go so that's what i was really,
- 10:05like all the all the all the leaves on
- 10:08the ground all the jack-o'-lanterns looking scary i can
- 10:10see why jimmy's very scared yeah you know and another thing
- 10:13that kind of struck me too and it happens a few times in
- 10:16the movie is you can see their breath and i think we've
- 10:19all been there on those colder autumn kind of damp halloween nights when you're
- 10:23out there with your buddies or whatever you can kind of feel that vibe like
- 10:28it's colder than it should be and mom's making me wear a jacket over my costume
- 10:32when i didn't want there to be one on it sort of does yeah i'm completely in alignment with you.
- 10:38He definitely puts the feel of Halloween from, as you said, Bill,
- 10:43takes you from when you're a little kid and you're going with your friends and
- 10:47you're all trying to play tricks on each other and spook each other.
- 10:50And then the girls going on an F-Fest and just going to Halloween parties and just living their life.
- 10:57And then, like you said, the older people at the end, it's just really interesting
- 11:02how well he paints that picture of Halloween.
- 11:08Yeah totally totally agree well without without any objection i hope i'm going
- 11:13to move on to the play-by-play of this thing where we start this movie with
- 11:18like a 1950s public service announcement kind of drives home where we're at
- 11:23and where we're going you know i i like that kind of grainy,
- 11:28like old-timey style opening of like i don't know kind of leaves me a little
- 11:34nostalgic for things that are days going by that I never really even got to experience.
- 11:39So I don't really know what the hell I'm nostalgic for.
- 11:41I mean, the videos themselves are eerie itself, yeah.
- 11:45Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And the weird older costumes and the shriveled up.
- 11:49Jack-o'-lantern i don't know it's just something something cool
- 11:53something a little neat to kind of kick it off with yeah so
- 11:56we open up with emma played by
- 12:00lisa leslie bibb best known
- 12:03for i guess iron the iron man one and
- 12:05two movies and juror number two
- 12:08is a more recent movie i never i don't know what
- 12:11she's from but i know that she was a
- 12:15heartthrob in like the early 2000s i know i was always
- 12:17very attractive for sure i mean she's having
- 12:20been on a show or something yeah yeah she
- 12:23was definitely in there for the attention of hot chick you know
- 12:26yeah yeah yeah and kind of kind of bitchy attitude
- 12:29too so i think she plays that off
- 12:31pretty well she's accompanied by her friend uh
- 12:35or lover or fiance or wife or
- 12:37husband or whomever henry who's played
- 12:41by and i'm gonna say this guy's name wrong tamo pinkette
- 12:45that's his name i did not make that up
- 12:47he's he's best known i think at least to our group of friends for battlestar
- 12:53galactica right he's helo from battlestar galactica he was also in man of steel
- 12:57and a movie a show called dollhouse which i never watched but it was on internet
- 13:02movie database so why not give him credit for it i guess it's highly rated or something.
- 13:07They're having an argument back and forth and they don't like Halloween in some
- 13:12aspect. And man, I love their yard.
- 13:13They've got some cool decorations going on.
- 13:17For people that don't like Halloween, they did a great job of decorating that
- 13:20house. No kidding, right?
- 13:23She's ticked off. She's got to clean it up and he's going to pout.
- 13:26And before she then gives into, yeah, let's go upstairs and fool around to,
- 13:31I guess, an adult film entitled Nature something.
- 13:37You and me, baby, are nothing but mammal.
- 13:41Yeah, right. So it's like mistitled to try and keep it secret because it's a porno flick.
- 13:46Yeah sorry if they're about to go upstairs to business what the hell is she
- 13:52doing outside and what the hell is he doing letting her go outside just a thought
- 13:56because the guy's lazy and he won't help his wife,
- 14:01put away the decorations yeah so it's giving vibes of that he's the actual Halloween
- 14:08guy and she's just out here dealing with it and doesn't want her mom to see
- 14:12the mess the next morning I guess I don't know.
- 14:16I mean, because coming from a husband who hates to put stuff up outside, I fully knew that man.
- 14:23I would be like, leave that show until next week if you have to. I'm not going to do it.
- 14:28Halloween night. Let's go do
- 14:30this dirty. Wow. So, Jimmy, you put it in the Nature Special DVD upstairs.
- 14:36There's no need for the Nature Special because if you're really in the heat
- 14:41of the moment, you don't need to do it.
- 14:43Video we're going upstairs yeah but as soon as you heard that but as soon as
- 14:51you heard that third step you know you really do make a good point though because,
- 15:00it's one of the rare instances in horror movies where sex would have saved a life.
- 15:05Which is kind of weird because usually sex is the thing that kills them
- 15:08all yes it's the opposite yeah that's
- 15:11what i said in the beginning i'm like oh great i'm like this movie's gonna
- 15:14be cliche these people are gonna go do it and they're
- 15:17gonna die i'm like this is how this movie's gonna start out
- 15:20really really right now yeah yeah yeah well
- 15:24she's she's out there cleaning she's got multiple false
- 15:27starts and all of a sudden sam's gonna
- 15:30do work we don't really see sam but he's out
- 15:33there kicking her ass in front of in the front yard slicing her
- 15:36throat with a lollipop yeah we don't really know what
- 15:39he is at that point no we do not yeah but it's
- 15:42cool because there's again that vibe right so
- 15:45he's there's a bloody sheet he's dragging her into the front yard there's like
- 15:50breath and steam of body heat coming off i'm sorry i'm sorry can i can i interject
- 15:54real quick yeah yeah well what was the point of the guy in the white mask just
- 15:59staring at her A false start To get you to think something else is happening,
- 16:04You use a red earring It was just a creeper out And kind of like oh no But then
- 16:09I was like oh everything's fine But think about that in real life Yeah I would
- 16:15never Because there would never be somebody just standing there Staring at you.
- 16:20I mean I'd be like yo dude What's the deal like this weird guy with a mask You
- 16:24know I got an NLA membership In my pocket And I'm not afraid to use it.
- 16:30Yeah, so Henry eventually gets up once, I guess, his stupor is worn off.
- 16:36And he goes down in the front yard to figure out, I guess, that his lovely Emma
- 16:41has been torn apart Mussolini-style, limbs all over the place.
- 16:46And we've got our first death on our hands, folks. This chick gets the sheet ripped off her head.
- 16:51Emma's got that lollipop stuffed in her mouth. And I guess it was a sacrifice
- 16:55that the gods of Halloween demanded.
- 16:57Let's have a moment of silence for Emma. Emma, y'all. four one out r.i.p. r.i.p.
- 17:03Emma she's number one on our body count list and it was creepy man the lead
- 17:08up to it i mean the dripping blood and everything it's kind of rough looking good good
- 17:14makeup yeah yeah yeah no man it was yeah yeah very creepy so we get we get our
- 17:24our title picture and our and our credit which is kind of in the in the fashion
- 17:28of a comic book which i gotta be honest with you guys i've never heard of a
- 17:32comic book if there is one.
- 17:34I don't i don't know that's what i was gonna say like i'm assuming this was a comic,
- 17:40it kind of feels like that right if it's not a comic then it maybe graphic novel
- 17:47maybe a graphic novel something but the thing is i had never heard of it it
- 17:51doesn't mean that it doesn't exist Cause there's lots of things that happen
- 17:53out there that I never heard of,
- 17:54but they might've commissioned these comic, the drawings and the cover art and
- 18:00all the bars and everything just for the, the opening sequence, I guess.
- 18:05But I, I really, I don't know. I didn't do too much research into the,
- 18:09if there is a comic book and I'm sure for a fact that after the fact there's
- 18:13a comic book because you, the
- 18:15comic community is always going to capitalize on making a few bucks and.
- 18:19So the movie community is going to capitalize on making a few bucks. That's true.
- 18:24Or, well, because it's Warner Brothers, right?
- 18:27So they have to have major permissions in order to use those images and stuff.
- 18:32And if it wasn't a comic book already.
- 18:35So there you have it. That's your opening sequence. We move on to somebody dragging
- 18:41a, looks like a pillowcase through the streets.
- 18:45We're seeing lots of our characters that we're going to be seeing throughout the movie,
- 18:48kind of in the background we're running into lots of people
- 18:51we see the the ladies moving to a the
- 18:54the dressing room area to the halloween shop we
- 18:57see our principal oh yeah
- 19:00our principal standing by all dutifully looking
- 19:03yeah we're meeting everybody warren valley
- 19:07very made up very fake yeah so
- 19:11that's kind of that we kind of pick
- 19:14up our action with a newscast earlier on
- 19:17in the day all of these things are going on these
- 19:20festivities and we're in a costume place
- 19:23with a peeping kid who's running around looking through
- 19:26the cracks of the dressing room doors have you guys ever ran around looking
- 19:30through the cracks of women dressing definitely been getting lost in in department
- 19:36stores as a kid like that but never being smart enough to be the g that that
- 19:41little I was to check out chicks.
- 19:43That's a very weird question though.
- 19:46And no. Okay. Well, no for me too.
- 19:49However, the G that's running around in the little monkey costume is Sam.
- 19:56That's the actor, Lord Quinn, who's credited as both Sam and Peeping Kid at
- 20:03the end of the credits. So it's our buddy.
- 20:06Wow. Yeah. Yeah.
- 20:13That's my factoid on Sam. Get it on him.
- 20:18Who needs a soundboard? Yeah, exactly. Soundboard be damned.
- 20:22I'm going to make it happen.
- 20:24Yeah. So we've got highly attractive females all making double entendres about
- 20:30the years past of their partying and philandering and whatnot, dressing up as, I guess,
- 20:36like nursery rhymes or princesses or something. I don't know.
- 20:40They were definitely princesses because then poor Anna Paquin's character gets
- 20:44stuck being the Red War riding, but wearing the most covered up outfit because
- 20:48you're a old virgin. Yeah. Yeah.
- 20:52I popped when I saw Anna Paquin. I'm sorry. Absolutely.
- 20:59It's just like the good old days of True Blood. Sookie.
- 21:04That's right. Back then, she was famous to me. I always thought she was great.
- 21:09Known to us for what? X-Men and True Blood?
- 21:13X-Men and True Blood. True Blood started around the same time as this movie came out.
- 21:19That's true, yeah. So she was kind of clicking on all cylinders.
- 21:22She probably went back in 2017. I don't know when that happened when True Blood
- 21:26kicked off. But I think when this film she's probably relatively unknown.
- 21:30But I didn't I didn't look I didn't go that far deep.
- 21:34Okay, so the one girl, the little Bo Peep girl, is picking up a guy,
- 21:37trying to get him, trying to get the girls into a situation where they're picking
- 21:41up guys for some sort of strange,
- 21:44encounter or party at Sheep's Meadow, which is an obvious play on wolf and sheep smoothing.
- 21:52It had to do with, you know, wolves and little foreshadowing type things.
- 21:57It was kind of interesting.
- 21:59Yeah, man, that was definitely over my head because I was too busy looking at their goods.
- 22:06Yeah i i yeah just like i want to be that cameraman right now take me to your
- 22:11van when anna paquin is the fourth or fourth uh big equipment we got there yeah exactly,
- 22:22women do not exist that's how you know it was a fake thing exactly now you have
- 22:27one would come up to me like this is shit you know they're trying to steal it,
- 22:32You're going to rip my foot out. You're going to rip my foot out.
- 22:34Don't suck your bucks. You're a little demonic being.
- 22:38So we then pick up from there, from our little pep talk that we gave Anna Paquin
- 22:45to the little fat kid who's basically knocking down all of. Bad Santa.
- 22:50From Bad Santa. Exactly. He gave me such Nelson vibes from The Simpsons. Like, ha ha.
- 22:57Like, just like, deuce kid, destroying things. I wanted to, like,
- 23:01punch him. I, like, couldn't wait for that. Oh, absolutely.
- 23:06Bad Santa. that shirt i swear
- 23:09to you this is my halloween costume or whatever it says
- 23:12on his shirt is like i want to knock this kid's
- 23:15teeth out just by meeting her i'm not alone you know it almost like gives the
- 23:20same vibes as the older brother on home alone the one with the tarantula what
- 23:26the hell is his name buzz oh yeah buzz yeah yeah yeah for sure buzz your girlfriend.
- 23:34So the little fat kid gets cornered i guess i should give him a name his name
- 23:38is charlie in the movie he gets caught by our buddy the principal right whose
- 23:44name is wilkins right his last name is is wilkins steve wilkins he's a bad dude
- 23:51i guess he's kind of a doofus,
- 23:54who is out there buying knives because his other knives are dull which i don't
- 23:58really understand How that works I've never had a problem where I was carving
- 24:03My pumpkins and my knives got dull But he's out there Buying knives Like any
- 24:09good serial killer And I don't know,
- 24:11does the band Santa Kid even get A line Like,
- 24:14He really doesn't say much. I think he just, he just grunts.
- 24:18He just starts eating the chocolate and it's, he literally has an Augustus gloop
- 24:23moment and just gets done by his gluttony.
- 24:26And that, and that vomit scene was just so gross, man. Was it over the top or what?
- 24:34A little over the top. And the pharmacist in me is like, I mean, cause that is my job.
- 24:41And I'm like, what did this guy take that he's throwing up like this?
- 24:44I'm like, I'm thinking of remedies to fix them, but it's too easy.
- 24:48Yeah, absolutely. It's almost like that Family Guy episode where they give each
- 24:52other epic acts so you can hold it down the wall.
- 24:59That projectile vomiting.
- 25:02So, yeah, so, Jimmy, what would cause that?
- 25:06Oh, it's definitely poison of some sort. He definitely got poisoned.
- 25:10I mean, I don't know the poison. I mean, they used to use a lot in the ancient worlds,
- 25:14But I mean clearly that thing But it was all black
- 25:17like that Because he obviously ate all The crap
- 25:21on chocolate And if you When they
- 25:24go back into His house you see
- 25:27Lots of like measurements And syringes and bottles He's got like Bunsons and
- 25:34beakers And all that Yeah yeah yeah So he's got a whole system He's been killing
- 25:39people which we'll get into Because I don't know how many kids he's got In that
- 25:43damn hole in his backyard yard.
- 25:45It's not like it's only Charlie, though, because there's some other kid who's
- 25:49trying to grab at his pant leg.
- 25:50But we'll get into that for a second. There was definitely a couple kids that were in that hole.
- 25:55100%. There were a couple body bags. Yeah, yeah. Absolutely.
- 25:59So we get into it, right? We got three different concurring storylines happening
- 26:03at this moment with Charlie croaking out, Stephen Wilkins dragging his body,
- 26:09which is burping up blood all over his nice, clean white shirt.
- 26:12The ladies trying to get dates to to
- 26:15meet out at sheep's meadow and then
- 26:18our third storyline is when we have trick-or-treaters at the front door looking
- 26:23for some pumpkins for unicef or whatever nonsense that they're talking about
- 26:28when they ring the bell apparently this is when we find out too that he's a
- 26:32principal which kind of is ironic in some way that the principal's out there killing all these kids.
- 26:37How many kids has he had? I don't know. I think they use that UNICEF thing because
- 26:43they're like, oh shit, it's the principal's house.
- 26:45We gotta make something up. Right, right, right, right.
- 26:49The kids are dressed in, what, a pirate, an alien, and some sort of angel.
- 26:55I don't know any of these kids. I know the one chick is a total biatch,
- 26:59but the rest of them seem like normal kids to me.
- 27:02So how do I know? The angel, is that what's-her-face? I don't know.
- 27:07Who's what's-her-face? Is that, oh, God, the double D girl.
- 27:13She's always, like, showing her stuff in movies.
- 27:18I don't know. Tom, that's the most generic question I've ever heard anybody say.
- 27:23You know that person that has boobs?
- 27:27She just did that gene ad, like, oh, my genes are perfect.
- 27:35Oh, what are you talking about? City Sweetie. City Sweetie.
- 27:39There is no way that girl is City Sweetie. No, I don't think so. No? I don't think so.
- 27:45City Sweetie just came out of the work recently, bro.
- 27:48This is 2007 I'm saying she's She does look like She's been acting for a long time,
- 27:56She has been acting for a long time I don't think we I don't think we've got
- 28:01a Sweeney Murty sighting Or a Sweeney Murty,
- 28:04What's her fucking That was in my note Her name is what's her face bro What's
- 28:10her face with the double D's,
- 28:12That was my note What's her face with the double D's I am a classic person that
- 28:18describes characters from other roles, but you literally gave us no other role.
- 28:24That guy was the president. You can figure it out, you know,
- 28:28or you can, you know, the classic, you know, I don't know that after his name,
- 28:32but he's done this, this and this. I got it.
- 28:35I got the name after I got the name after like 20 seconds.
- 28:39All right, man. You did. You did. OK, going in completely cold.
- 28:42You did better than me. I had the same exact information as you And I could not figure it out,
- 28:47All right, so the kids grab the pumpkin. Bill, Bill, just cut that out.
- 28:51Cut that out. We're not cutting anything. We're doing no edit first takes. Oh, Dan.
- 28:56This is all day. These people got to know what it is to live with us. Realize how we did.
- 29:01Yeah, exactly. It's all part of the show. So the kids get the pumpkin.
- 29:07Sam is behind them, grabs forcefully a candy bar, which obviously has got the razor blade in it.
- 29:14And we'll see that candy bar later on in the day.
- 29:17While we're talking about all this, because it does make another appearance.
- 29:20When we're talking to Mr. Krieg. All right.
- 29:24Moving back to, we're doing a lot of flip-flopping. We go back to our girls.
- 29:28We're getting into a television van. They picked up a couple of guys.
- 29:31And they're going off to party in the woods. And Little Red Riding Hood,
- 29:35our poor Anna Paquin, so, so sad. She does not have a date yet.
- 29:40Which is kind of unbelievable because Anna Paquin is someone who should not
- 29:44have a problem picking up a guy.
- 29:45I mean, come on. Get with us. Okay. Yeah.
- 29:49Absolutely. Absolutely, absolutely not. Absolutely not. Not believable at all,
- 29:54right? Yeah. You do not have a problem.
- 29:59So another weird factoid of this movie, they had no rights to show any candy
- 30:04bar that we would recognize. They didn't have the rights to show Snickers or
- 30:08Through Musketeer or whatever.
- 30:09So a lot of these candy bars are called like Cali Ho or, you know,
- 30:15Crunchy Nut Bar or whatever the hell.
- 30:16So they came up with these most ridiculous looking wrappers that,
- 30:20I mean, you can obviously tell it's a candy bar, but there's no name brands
- 30:24want to be associated with poisoning.
- 30:25We go into Principal Wilkins's house and we see potassium cyanide.
- 30:30We see some arsenic, a couple of other vials and weird jars that I can't read
- 30:35on the screen. I'm looking at them right now.
- 30:38Whatever it is, it makes fat kids violently ill and die from vomiting,
- 30:42eventually giving up their lives for the cause.
- 30:46Yeah, so we're going out to our little backdoor area,
- 30:50and I guess just creating a mass grave with our principal, where I think probably
- 30:57the funniest scene of the movie comes from right now,
- 31:02the dialogue between Billy and Stephen.
- 31:06Oh, the son and the dad, right? Yeah, yeah. I'm a neighbor. I'm a neighbor. Oh, yeah.
- 31:12Freaking angry-ass, jaded neighbor, yeah.
- 31:17Mr. Krieg is not happy. He does not like Halloween at all.
- 31:22Carly Brown's an asshole! Carly Brown is an asshole. That is the quote of the movie for me.
- 31:28Charlie Brown is an asshole. He's shouting out the back of his porch.
- 31:32Hilarious. Billy! Boo!
- 31:35No, I don't get it Dude, I love how the dog is eating that Freaking finger And I'm like.
- 31:43What's going on right now Yeah Back,
- 31:47Eating a finger, you know Yeah And he pulls off that finger like a little piece
- 31:53of turkey On Thanksgiving's Gate,
- 31:57He steals that thing right off Now, let me ask you guys a question He's like,
- 32:02you're skilled When we first meet that dog Did you think his name was Spiked,
- 32:09I thought it was Spike, but I watch movies with the...
- 32:17And it was driving me nuts because I'm like, they keep spelling this dog's name.
- 32:21It's Spike, and they're calling it like Spirk or something.
- 32:24I don't even know what it's called. His name is actually Spite.
- 32:29Yeah, S-E-I-T. That's right. That's right.
- 32:33Like Spiteful. Like Spiteful, right. In my mind,
- 32:37the whole time I'm thinking Spike is the name of the
- 32:40dog I'm looking at the subtitles right now
- 32:43For whatever version I have It says the
- 32:46subtitles say Spike But if you watch all the way to the end through the credits
- 32:50The dog Kip is titled as Spite Which is pretty fucking cool And I will say my
- 33:00version The closed captions had it on Spite,
- 33:04your version had spite mine was correct mine was SPIT and I thought it was a
- 33:10mistake yeah weird it's just a weird little thing and I thought I was like that's an awesome dog name,
- 33:17and I was like why did these people screw up this closed captions right over
- 33:22and over and over again at this point I was not startled at all with any of
- 33:27this stuff that was going on so that's a good and that's a good point up to
- 33:31this point is anyone been shocked about what's been happening?
- 33:35Yeah i'm like ruling this movie i'm like
- 33:38i am not scared i was scared of the preview days before
- 33:41i'm like my wife
- 33:44i don't know if i can i'm yeah no i'm invested
- 33:47i'm invested i'm like i love like
- 33:51here we are it's halloween let's do this right
- 33:54yeah no i i think it's a fun like back
- 33:57and forth storyline deal thus far but i'm
- 34:00with you sassos it's not something that's like Throwing me off at all But it's
- 34:04kind of fun in a way The exchange between the two neighbors It smells like a
- 34:10dead whore out here Fix your septic tank or whatever And then the kid up in
- 34:14the second floor I want to carve a jack-o-lantern,
- 34:18This guy You almost feel bad for the serial killer Somehow As he's bashing a
- 34:23little kid's brains in In a clown costume I don't know.
- 34:30I'm thinking there's at least two kids in that grave and one of them is not Charlie.
- 34:34There were multiple body bags. I thought I saw. Yeah.
- 34:38Oh yeah. I, I, I agree with you because the kid that's alive is clearly not
- 34:43Charlie. Whose head is downstairs.
- 34:45We're about to discover here in a minute. This guy does a lot of work, man.
- 34:49He puts in a lot of earth moving work in that suit and tie covers up the grave,
- 34:54heads in to help Billy with his jack-o'-lantern.
- 34:57He muddle he mumbles something about not i miss mommy i mean is this guy a killer
- 35:03like he must be like a serial killer right like for a moment i'm like oh shit
- 35:08i'm like this guy killed his wife too 100 daddy i wish mommy was still alive
- 35:15like he's mad about that yeah yeah.
- 35:19In the background we're looking at mr feed getting jumped and we don't really
- 35:24know what the hell we're seeing because it just looks like a flash of light
- 35:27and a body flying through past a window.
- 35:30Yeah, that was a little bit startling on my part. I was like,
- 35:33oh, she's sightseeing and it's just kind of like, yeah, we don't know what the
- 35:38hell that was and he just says, screw you and moves into the house because obviously
- 35:42they don't get along very well.
- 35:44I thought for sure Billy was going to bite it. That's for sure.
- 35:48I thought Billy was going to bite it when we go down into the basement because
- 35:51his facial expressions are like, I'm going to slaughter this kid,
- 35:56not to mention the knife behind his back.
- 35:58Yeah bro i i as a dad i was very nervous for this kid and i was like wow this
- 36:04guy's so sick that he's gonna off his own kid right yeah yeah i'm with you and
- 36:11we go down in the basement,
- 36:13we're looking around we're spinning something around he
- 36:15gives a heave-ho to something to the end of his knife he comes up with a little
- 36:21bit of blood we think it's billy's but it's not billy's it's still charlie apparently
- 36:25i don't know what part of charlie he stabbed because There's only a head on
- 36:30a little platter that they spin around playfully because they're about to carve this kid's eyes out.
- 36:35What the hell did he stab that he came up with that much blood on the end of his knife?
- 36:38Yeah, I mean, and when did he have enough time to cover, to sever this head
- 36:42off? I mean, I did not, like, what is he like?
- 36:45Like, the Ginster knife over here? Hey guys, time out?
- 36:49Tom? Yeah, time out real quick? Yeah, time out. What do you got?
- 36:54Like, you guys are all coming in, like, really choppy.
- 37:00Hmm all right like all right
- 37:03i i am i've got full wi-fi yeah i mean i think i'm pretty good i'm on full wi-fi
- 37:10at my house and i can hear you guys loud and clear so do i huh all right are
- 37:16we still choppy not right now but like before when you guys were talking like it was all like,
- 37:24It could have been my excitement. It could have been my excitement. All right.
- 37:29Well, see, right now, that was Shabby. Hmm.
- 37:34All right.
- 37:37I don't know. I don't know what to do. I say, let's ride this through.
- 37:40I say, let's ride this through. I guess we kind of have to. Yeah, right.
- 37:43Right, right through. Right through. I'm sorry. But like, if I'm not like saying
- 37:48anything, it's because I can't say anything.
- 37:51Got it. Okay. All right. So we stabbed something.
- 37:57I guess we have the next generation of serial killers on our hands with young Billy.
- 38:01But then we meet with our next friends We're going to meet up with Rhonda First
- 38:05we've got to stop by a very weird Older people Halloween party Where they're
- 38:10all grinding up on each other Which is kind of a weird look at What our immediate
- 38:14future looks like probably,
- 38:16It was definitely Giving me like furry party vibes Yeah, oh yeah Very odd Shazzles
- 38:23hates furries I hate furries and they were I was I was,
- 38:30I heard that. I hear this right now.
- 38:34I heard that. We're back, baby. We're back. We're going to go pick up Rhonda,
- 38:41our little awkward teen girl, from her house that is decorated.
- 38:46Probably has thousands of dollars of pumpkins in that front yard.
- 38:50I don't know how the hell anybody can afford to buy that damn pumpkins.
- 38:54I mean, that house... They're cheap.
- 38:57Pumpkins are cheap, aren't they? Yeah but that house how it was decorated Should
- 39:01have won like Halloween award shows Oh absolutely We're talking magazine covers man This shit is crazy.
- 39:09Like lifestyles of the Halloween and famous. Like that's what's going on right
- 39:13there at the house. For sure.
- 39:15She's obviously an awkward young girl comes out with a no eye contact.
- 39:19I made my own Halloween costume and I've got super weird factoids about Halloween and so on and so forth.
- 39:28I guess he was on the spectrum a little bit. Like, you know,
- 39:32like, yeah, I got that vibe too.
- 39:35Super awkward. There's a little bit of a, When we get down into the quarry,
- 39:40there's a lot of callbacks to John Carpenter movies.
- 39:44And it's kind of like a little bit, it turns into a bit of an homage to John
- 39:48Carpenter and Stephen King.
- 39:49And I'll get into those factoids here in a second when we get down to the quarry.
- 39:53But we've got this masked man who's canoodling with an alley girl.
- 39:59I don't know i don't know what's happening here oh dude that vampire-like guy yeah.
- 40:06Yeah uh-huh and he's not quite not quite so okay that's like top dream man that's
- 40:14like tom's dream if he could just dress up and just and just take women into
- 40:18parades wow is that is that your dream song?
- 40:23No, it's not. I don't know why Jimmy is putting dreams.
- 40:28I don't know why Sass is putting dreams in my head.
- 40:34Yeah, but you love to dress up for Halloween and be in that kind of...
- 40:38Yes, as a Jedi, as a Sith.
- 40:41Which looks like a Jedi a little bit, though.
- 40:45Wasn't you Rorschach one time? Like, yeah.
- 40:48Rorschach doesn't suck blood from people, bro.
- 40:54But doesn't suck bread for women well i'll
- 40:57tell you this i don't know if he's stuck in blood or just biting the
- 41:00shit out of this poor girl but she runs out of the alley into the festivities
- 41:04and everybody kind of our characters from before emma and
- 41:07uh old what's his face from from battle star galactia they
- 41:11kind of give her their old cold shoulder because she's just drunk and her
- 41:14victim status is minimized quite a bit as she
- 41:17dies by herself on the side of the road with all the other drunk people well
- 41:20those douchebag couple from the beginning i forgot them yeah look at that drunk
- 41:26bitch it looks like it looks like a night in portland yeah well let me tell
- 41:31you this let's have a moment of silence for the harlot in the alley moment of silence,
- 41:37Take a drink. If you're drinking right now, take a drink, because this poor
- 41:40girl shouldn't deserve this.
- 41:42Moment of silence. We didn't give one to Charlie, the fat kid.
- 41:46Well, Charlie really didn't deserve one. He was kind of a douche.
- 41:50Wow. He just had his kid cut off.
- 41:54He was like terrorizing the neighborhood. It was almost like he was knocking over the pumpkin.
- 42:01The principal was doing the world a favor.
- 42:05Oh my god. with marrying children. It's almost like the Thanos mod.
- 42:12Thanos is okay with child murder. You heard it here, folks?
- 42:16You hear it here, folks? It was better. I need to get to the core.
- 42:22That kid, I have to say, if you don't get a line out, you're not getting a moment
- 42:26of silence, because that one girl at least had some moaning in the alley.
- 42:30I don't know what she let's get another drink or something, and then she gets
- 42:33bit up so bad she bleeds out, apparently. I don't know.
- 42:37Alright, so now we're... Yes! It didn't even look like it was an artery.
- 42:40Like, what the heck? I know. It didn't seem that grave, did it?
- 42:44Yeah, no, she was like, oh, blood! She goes from, like, one scratch to being,
- 42:49like, stone-cold covered in blood.
- 42:51Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 42:54We pick up our kids, who are now, we have an entire shopping cart filled with
- 42:59jack-o'-lanterns going down to the quarry.
- 43:01And we get a good explanation of Samane, or she pronounces it Samane,
- 43:06an explanation that was kind of cool.
- 43:08And some good visuals of the walk into the quarry. I thought it was pretty neat.
- 43:11Did you guys know that Sam, our little observer, our little Halloween spook,
- 43:17he kind of comes from that name.
- 43:22Sam Hain, Sam, that's I guess what they were going for, he only appears during
- 43:27Halloween, and he kind of just observes all the festivities,
- 43:30and if people are generally, yeah,
- 43:33just observing Halloween the way that is intended to be observed,
- 43:36so I thought that was kind of neat From Samhain?
- 43:39Yeah or it's literally
- 43:42spelled s-a-m and then h-a-i-n or
- 43:46something like that so whether you pronounce it
- 43:49sawin or sam hayne it's still sam
- 43:52at the beginning of it so i thought that was kind of
- 43:55neat macy otherwise known as
- 43:58apparently sydney sweeney
- 44:02she is a total douche but she goes ahead
- 44:04and tells us about our our myth our
- 44:07local legend of a school bus driver and his his unfortunate
- 44:11children that he decides to dump into a rock quarry
- 44:14there is an interesting fact as we're
- 44:17driving and he takes the left or i'm sorry the right hand turn instead of a
- 44:20left there is a vehicle parked on the side of the road it's like an older type
- 44:25vehicle i have it written down here somewhere and i'm not going to be able to
- 44:28find it oh yeah okay in 1958 plymouth fury that's a nod Add to our friend John
- 44:34Carpenter in the movie Christine.
- 44:36That's the exact model car of Christine, the car that comes alive and kills people.
- 44:41So the director is obviously a fan of John Carpenter movies because there's
- 44:45a lot of callbacks to Halloween movies.
- 44:48Lori, our head werewolf girl, the Little Red Riding Hood.
- 44:53Lori is a callback to Lori Strode, the main character in the original Halloween movie.
- 44:58So there's a lot of those little, we like Stephen King, we like John Carpenter,
- 45:04little Easter eggs here and there to kind of keep those Halloween purists happy.
- 45:09So yeah, we've got eight Halloween kids, eight Halloween costumes. They're all chained up.
- 45:15They're obviously some sort of special needs type situation.
- 45:17All of them very Yeah go for it Were there any things Like homages that I missed,
- 45:26Yeah there were When Sam gets torn apart His hand that gets stuck back on Looks
- 45:32a lot like when the Alien gets torn apart In the movie The Thing,
- 45:38Oh damn Okay It also looks
- 45:41like a pumpkin too But I can make that leap if I
- 45:44absolutely need to So yeah we got our
- 45:47eight kids uh their their parents are apparently tired
- 45:50of them which is really screwed up and they've
- 45:53hired the bus driver to have an unfortunate accident over
- 45:56the side of a very tall cliff into a ravine a gorge if you will we give a piece
- 46:02of candy we check to see if they're secure in their seats which he does a terrible
- 46:06job and yeah over the edge they go except it doesn't quite go his plan he goes
- 46:12over with them because apparently he's terrible at checking locks.
- 46:17This is really screwed up this story that part was that part was crazy that
- 46:22part was insane and like right as the bus is going over that's when i had that
- 46:26interruption and i was like oh my god,
- 46:31oh hey we have autistic children,
- 46:35Just kill them. Yeah, I'm tired of them, so that's just off them in an accident.
- 46:41I love their costumes, though, by the way. I think they're super cool.
- 46:45But the costumes are great. I'm like, don't go. They're rocking,
- 46:48like, sick costumes. Absolutely. Yeah.
- 46:52It was a lot of fun. And this bus driver and the whole group goes over the edge.
- 46:59He gets tripped up by one of the actual needs kids. I'm sorry.
- 47:04Driver's probably given $2,000 in a carton of Marlboro Reds. Cowboy killing.
- 47:11Because it was what, like $78? Oh, yeah.
- 47:15That could get you by for a while. Yeah, I mean, we're talking about adjusted
- 47:19dollars, Tom. Let's not be selfish.
- 47:23$2,000 $2,000 goes a long way in 1974 money, or whatever it is.
- 47:28If like hot dogs at my dad's luncheonette was
- 47:32like that's a whole
- 47:35lot of living my friend yeah absolutely so yeah
- 47:39we get the legend i'm super jazzed about
- 47:42that legend i think it's a cool like local type deal the driver survives he
- 47:46pulls himself up i got some scratches but he's no worse for wear he's doing
- 47:50okay and lots of masks floating in the in the background in that gorge and that
- 47:57brings us back to our kids who are They're completely freaked out by the whole thing.
- 48:01And they're going to go down and pay some homage to the kids.
- 48:04So, so Miss Rhonda thinks, pay homage to these kids and lay down these jack-o'-lanterns
- 48:09to try and, I don't know, do something or other.
- 48:11I really don't get the whole point of this thing, but that's what they're going to go down and do.
- 48:16Meanwhile, Anna Paquin is super hot in this movie.
- 48:24I don't find her. Here's my hot take. You guys ready for a hot take?
- 48:27I don't find Anna Paquin especially hot.
- 48:31Thank you. Wait, you don't find her especially hot? I do not.
- 48:36I think she's gorgeous.
- 48:40I was always made fun of.
- 48:45Yeah, I probably was making fun of you Yeah, I was you Yeah,
- 48:49I do not find her especially attractive I don't know what it is,
- 48:53She's fine But she's very hot in this particular movie As Little Red Riding
- 48:58Hood With the whole wolves Double meaning thing going on It's pretty interesting,
- 49:04I thought When she was transforming into a wolf She became hotter,
- 49:10So you're pro-furry I thought there were mixtures of wolves and bullfights.
- 49:16I think you think that because of true blood. Okay.
- 49:23Yeah, I don't know. I feel like she looked different than the other ones.
- 49:27Well, I don't think we ever got to see her completely transformed, though, either. Did we?
- 49:32No, it was almost like London and werewolves. I mean, werewolf and London. Yeah.
- 49:38She was halfway. She was halfway there, but I got full way. You got full way.
- 49:48He's thrown in his pants. Thank God. No, listen, listen. I think Anna Paquin
- 49:53is like cute. So whatever.
- 49:56Yeah, well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
- 50:00She's walking around this thing looking for a date, seeing lovely couples everywhere.
- 50:06It's almost like a scene out of The Simpsons where people are popping up as
- 50:10women or as the horse is the woman is in the back end of the horse.
- 50:17It's hilarious. It is hilarious. And everyone at every turn,
- 50:23she cannot find this poor, poor girl. Won't she be able to find a tombstone
- 50:27Tom somewhere in this crowd?
- 50:29She's sitting there dejected. She can't believe it. She can't find a date. Oh, how horrible.
- 50:35And she gets a phone call and the phone call is from her
- 50:38sister bo peep who's out there saying she's
- 50:41got a date for her it's a really great guy something like
- 50:44he's got a great personality which i guess everybody knows what that means
- 50:47not a really good looking dude i suppose
- 50:50yeah he was dressed up as a giant fat baby yeah
- 50:53what a what
- 50:59a killer costume and honestly who in the hell with
- 51:02any sort of brain in their head is dressing up like that and
- 51:05i've dressed up as fat elvis before but it was
- 51:09great i mean that was the being a fat baby is not appealing how demeaning i
- 51:14mean christ you got to do something different with your life fat elvis was fun
- 51:20elvis yeah absolutely everybody loves fat elvis shit i know i do yeah i mean
- 51:26he died on the toilet i mean what a way to go.
- 51:29He went out like a champ So, okay,
- 51:33The vampire man, the masked man Who killed our harlot in the alley,
- 51:38Spots, Anna Paquin As she's on the cell phone with her sister,
- 51:41So we got that developing Simultaneously, we're back in the gorge Rhonda is
- 51:46going down in the elevator With our little pirate friend Who genuinely looks
- 51:49scared But it's all a big ruse I was scared out of my mom at this point I was a little scared,
- 51:57People are screaming, people are freaking out Running back and forth And for
- 52:00whatever reason, she's just walking into the whole damn thing Let me ask you
- 52:04this What the hell is the point of this prank?
- 52:08What's the point? Well, it's kids being mean to kids, which we don't understand
- 52:13because we were always at the butt of those things as kids, mostly.
- 52:17Things being kids. It's just kid jerks being jerks. It's kids that can't defend themselves.
- 52:25But what's the end result here? Let's say she didn't fall down and get clearly
- 52:29concussed, hitting the back of her head as she fell down.
- 52:35I think they just wanted to get one up on somebody and they were like oh let's
- 52:38get this nerdy kid to come with us and we'll scare and it'll be funny yeah well man,
- 52:45I have not had this level of bullshit prank pulled on me but man I want to I
- 52:49want to sludge some kids when I'm seeing this shit it brings back old stars man,
- 52:55I mean, as I opened with, we were kind of the butts of those kind of pranks.
- 52:59Not like we kind of never did stuff like this to people. Yeah.
- 53:04Yeah. What are you talking about? You take my garbage cans all the way up Brandy
- 53:11Lane and throw them down.
- 53:14But I wasn't scaring you in any way.
- 53:18Yeah. Yeah.
- 53:20And we weren't concussing you. That was for the football field, man.
- 53:23We kept that straight on the football field So.
- 53:28Pranks are pranks Yeah but I guess So what's
- 53:31the point of taking your garbage can I guess we thought it was funny But what's
- 53:34the end result here What's the best case scenario for this girl in the gorge
- 53:38That we just leave her down there As we bring the elevator back up Or we just
- 53:43scare her And then we have an awkward elevator ride back up What's the end result
- 53:47What's the best case scenario here,
- 53:49Nothing I think they were just like oh we're gonna scare her and then she got
- 53:56real yeah she got real real she got mad real yeah chapelle world mad real yeah
- 54:02real real for sure and it gets it gets to the point where,
- 54:08i guess there's no good guys in this movie i
- 54:11guess that's what i kind of came to the conclusion after what
- 54:14happens to ronda happens to ronda they they fake
- 54:17their own death there's really a bus down there so
- 54:20there's some validity to the legend when those
- 54:23kids are coming after them i was fucking scared man yeah absolutely like but
- 54:28like if you're the pranker or the pranky rather do you leave the prankers to
- 54:33die is that really what you do i think that leaves the ultimate question to
- 54:38all to everyone that watching yeah like what would you do i guess.
- 54:44I don't know what I would do. I don't think I would leave dudes down there just to die.
- 54:48Maybe Macy could get it, but the rest of them, I don't know.
- 54:51I mean, I know they were all along.
- 54:53I mean, because, you know, the little fat pirate kid was just,
- 54:55you know, he was just being an accomplice.
- 54:58Yeah. I mean, the other guy kind of like was remorseful to a degree.
- 55:04Like, hey, guys, maybe we shouldn't do this.
- 55:07Right. Well, regardless, she loses her glasses, she falls down,
- 55:12and she gets, I don't know, really screwed up, emotionally speaking.
- 55:18Because all standing around her, she's traumatized.
- 55:23CTE for the rest of her life. See you later. Yeah, but right around that time,
- 55:29we're hearing real noises.
- 55:31And we're hearing real gargling and real conversations of
- 55:34kids who are coming out of the gorge and this just
- 55:37so happens to be our eight poor victims of
- 55:40the legend that we heard about not too long ago and what is
- 55:43what does ronda do she puts the up button
- 55:46on and lets those kids get what's coming to them so yes the
- 55:49the last lapse for her it's a classic last move
- 55:52and she lets them all burn which i
- 55:57don't know if that's a good guy move or not but she's like
- 56:00didn't she freaking drop them to bro is that
- 56:04a heel move or a face move that's a heel move all day
- 56:07man and you know what that's a heel move that i can get behind
- 56:10but man these kids
- 56:12are begging for their lives and she's just hit the up button she's
- 56:16like peace and hair grease dude i'm out yeah and this is kind of where i come
- 56:21into like the sam as the watcher remember in marvel comics uatsu the watcher
- 56:25oh totally yeah yeah he only does is observe and record right so So Sam is kind
- 56:31of like Uatu in this. He's kind of just standing there.
- 56:34He's there when she gets back up. Yeah. Yeah.
- 56:36Yeah. They make eye contact as far as so far as I can tell. And they just decide
- 56:41with no words to go the opposite directions so he can watch the carnage down in the gorge.
- 56:47Well, well, well, did you get the thing? She had the wheelbarrow with the jack-o'-lantern,
- 56:53which is a little bit of protection, right?
- 56:55Yes. So that's why he didn't go after her. Yeah.
- 56:59Because she's observing the traditions of Halloween, I guess.
- 57:02That's some good insightful stuff right there, Tom. Yeah. And I think there
- 57:06is something to that, too.
- 57:08Yes. You're welcome. Thank you, Tom. You're killing it right now.
- 57:13I'm not a membership in my pocket.
- 57:17And I still don't think Anna Paquin is hot. So we're back with her and she's
- 57:21walking down this long corridor, I guess, going to the party area.
- 57:25And she's hearing noises and we know we got to know at this stage it's the guy
- 57:30with the mask this mysterious man with the mask and he comes i mean i guess
- 57:36we don't know that it's him but he comes barreling into the party up over the
- 57:41trees like he got launched out of a fucking cannon,
- 57:44to crash the party the girls party right i mean his bloody corpse just hits
- 57:48the ground like a sack of potatoes he's got nothing left and that's where we
- 57:53find out it's our buddy who is it tom Give us the big reveal, Tom,
- 57:59Sassos.
- 58:00It is our lovely maniac principal. I can't hear anything. It's this thing, man.
- 58:08Tom, what kind of Wi-Fi do you have? It's not working.
- 58:13Now I can hear. What was your question? That's okay.
- 58:17Sassos, pick it up. It's our principal, right? The guy who comes flying out,
- 58:21hitting the ground like a sack of potatoes is our principal.
- 58:24And yeah, he's asking Who are you people and all this other crap Apparently
- 58:30he's not a vampire After all, they take his fake little teeth out And I thought
- 58:35it was a pretty big reveal Me personally,
- 58:38Yeah, I mean, I was totally stunned. I thought, I had no idea it was going to be that principal guy.
- 58:43I was like, I thought that he was like the masked murderer killing everyone at first.
- 58:49But little do we find out, he's just a victim in the end. Yeah.
- 58:54Oh, yeah. And what is it? He's just laying there with, I guess,
- 58:59his leg completely compound fractured.
- 59:02We're looking at bone marrow, like Psycho Sid, leg folded up style. It looks gruesome.
- 59:08Then we go into our wolf transformation right
- 59:11which is i don't know man it's super
- 59:14strange it was very the best
- 59:17the best part the best part yeah it was
- 59:20very cordello of blood i felt like at that point i i
- 59:23agree with you and a lot of dancing a lot of
- 59:25sensual things happening all at the same time very confused
- 59:29boner not sure what the hell was going on here but
- 59:33he gets it and i guess a lot of those other quote-unquote dates
- 59:36got it too because there's a lot of dead bodies all laying around getting ready
- 59:39to get feasted on because they're the main course apparently
- 59:44they were the sheep in the
- 59:47sheep uh yeah field or whatever yeah
- 59:50and let me tell you like a moth to
- 59:53a flame all these guys came right up
- 59:56to those ladies and asked for it they got in the end a
- 1:00:00good uh cautionary tale to our young young listeners out
- 1:00:03there don't just go with any girl it just
- 1:00:06shows that adam adam's curse on
- 1:00:09manhood for eating the apple is never ending
- 1:00:12it exists even to this and uh and another and another tale another tale don't
- 1:00:19listen to bell no go eat that apple because you only live once wow wind up completely
- 1:00:27dead and eat the apple very good because no one got lucky you out in the world, you know that.
- 1:00:32This was like the ultimate stripper club experience.
- 1:00:37You went with a girl out to the woods thinking one thing and a whole other thing happened.
- 1:00:42And your advice is, go for it.
- 1:00:46Continue to do it.
- 1:00:49Anna Paquin squatting on me. Yeah, rattling you. As she's turning into a werewolf.
- 1:00:57That's fine. That's worth the price of admission.
- 1:01:00That's all the show, bro. that's it
- 1:01:03yeah so and you
- 1:01:06know i'm not happy guys on the right he dies in the right fashion well i i guess
- 1:01:13to be honest with you man when they're like undressing their skin it was very
- 1:01:18hard to watch like she's unzipping her spine area and taking off her human costume i'm like oh my god.
- 1:01:28Yes. Yes. And the Marilyn Manson music plays.
- 1:01:32And it's very, very much an early 2000s homage.
- 1:01:37Moment of silence for Steven, man. Steven Wilkins. See you later,
- 1:01:40Bubba. You just about had it.
- 1:01:42Yeah. Full on werewolf status. I guess the people who did these special effects
- 1:01:49were the same people that did the werewolf special effects on the movie Underworld.
- 1:01:53That's why they look so similar.
- 1:01:55A lot of the same or similar artists that were on this movie were on that movie as well.
- 1:02:00That makes a lot of sense because they're all good.
- 1:02:04It's not CGI. It looks good.
- 1:02:07Absolutely. I agree with you. Those lichens, they were some hot customers.
- 1:02:12But somehow later on in the movie, they all get their their skin back on,
- 1:02:17which I'm not going to I don't know if I'm going to get into that.
- 1:02:19I don't want to know how the hell that all happens and what that process looks like.
- 1:02:24What big eyes you have is the finisher line to our buddy Stephen moment of silence.
- 1:02:29OK, so that brings us to Mr. Keeg's house and spite.
- 1:02:34Spite is a badass name for a dog is my note. I thought that's pretty neat.
- 1:02:39That's all I had. Yeah, I mean, I totally thought it was Spite.
- 1:02:45Spite Yeah, so Spite is there To scare trick-or-treaters, and he just steals their candy Outright,
- 1:02:53like a good old Grumpy dude who does not celebrate Halloween
- 1:02:57at all He's just burning old pictures Burning
- 1:03:00old burn barrel full of pictures And Brian
- 1:03:03Cox has got Quite the prosthetics on A little
- 1:03:06factoid about the prosthetic He is
- 1:03:09made to look like john carpenter because of that nose and that scraggly looking
- 1:03:14hair he brian cox specifically wanted the character to look like john carpenter
- 1:03:19the again the director and writer of halloween another little homage to our
- 1:03:24friend who's still around actually i don't know,
- 1:03:28i'm talking like i'm talking about him like he's dead
- 1:03:31did you guys remember that infomercial rest
- 1:03:34in pieces set it
- 1:03:38and forget it did you guys have that oh totally i
- 1:03:41totally enjoyed that that that infomercial yeah did you have it though did you
- 1:03:47actually get a chance to use it oh no no that ain't and forget it yeah it's
- 1:03:52like if you put you inject the flavor into the meat and And you put it on like
- 1:03:57a spigot or whatever. And it rotates.
- 1:03:59And you just set it and forget it.
- 1:04:02It was basically like a self-rotisserie that worked on doors.
- 1:04:06Yeah, it was pretty cool.
- 1:04:08I remember those infomercials and that weirdo guy who I was.
- 1:04:13Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. So, yeah, we got the infomercial in the background.
- 1:04:19We got Brian Cox, the biggest actor in the movie.
- 1:04:23And, and, and, and, you know, like if that guy's in the movie, it's going to be good.
- 1:04:27You know, like, yeah, he doesn't do bad movies. He's like Russell Crowe,
- 1:04:31Morgan Freeman. They don't do bad things.
- 1:04:35Absolutely. And you kind of know what you're going to get, which is a good,
- 1:04:37uh, which is a good thing.
- 1:04:39So we have eight, another little factoid, eight locks on Mr.
- 1:04:45Keeg's door, each lock for one of those kids on that bus.
- 1:04:49And I didn't, I did not know that until I looked up some facts about the movie.
- 1:04:54I thought that was kind of an interesting one. So this guy, the big reveal is not here yet,
- 1:04:58but he's got as many locks on those doors,
- 1:05:02is the front and the back door as he does for each one
- 1:05:05of those kids that he let die in that gorge which is kind of
- 1:05:08neat oh my god kind of cool
- 1:05:10right wow yeah i literally had no idea until you said that man oh i mean honestly
- 1:05:17like i mean i didn't even know he was the the bus driver until the end yeah
- 1:05:21yeah and that's the big reveal right which we'll we will get into that we're
- 1:05:26instead I mean, I knew he was a... Go ahead.
- 1:05:29Somebody was saying something? Yeah, it was me. What do you got?
- 1:05:33I said I knew he was the bus driver at the end of the movie. Oh, you did? You did?
- 1:05:39Yeah, when Dale showed up at his door. Well, yeah, but that was a big reveal.
- 1:05:44Did you know that beforehand?
- 1:05:45At this point, we don't know it's him yet. No, no, no, no.
- 1:05:49I'm saying I knew, I realized he was the bus driver, like, at the end of the movie.
- 1:05:55Right, right, right. When all the kids showed up at his door.
- 1:05:58Yeah, well, that's the big reveal. I think everybody knows at that point that he's the bus driver.
- 1:06:03But, like, me, I didn't know who the hell this guy was. I just thought he was a grumpy old dude.
- 1:06:07Yeah, so. I'm just stating the obvious like oh he's the bus driver I gotcha
- 1:06:13so the screw you line I love that line screw you to Wilkins as he's burying
- 1:06:20somebody in his back I mean.
- 1:06:24Yeah we got that interwoven storyline so we get to see it from his vantage point
- 1:06:30now which is always kind of cool yeah.
- 1:06:35I mean I just love how like Like, yeah, they like brought that whole thing back
- 1:06:40from a completely different angle.
- 1:06:42I just love that aspect of the story. I completely agree.
- 1:06:46He goes out of his front yard after hearing something or a doorbell ring with a baseball bat.
- 1:06:52And there are pumpkins all over the freaking place. It looks like he stole all
- 1:06:56the pumpkins from Rhonda's house and set them up in his front yard out of nowhere.
- 1:07:01Did you know that there were no real pumpkins carved in this motion picture?
- 1:07:07What? They're all like ceramic. That's a lot of pumpkins.
- 1:07:11It's an awful lot of pumpkins. They're all like fake styrofoam or carvable like craft type material.
- 1:07:19Yeah. So it's pretty weird that there was a joke on the set.
- 1:07:24It looks great. It's a great shot. It does look great. And it is a great shot.
- 1:07:29There were no real pumpkins harmed in the making of this motion picture, which was the kind of.
- 1:07:37But jake on the set of course we've got
- 1:07:41we've got who runs upstairs after sam obviously gets in he grabs his shotgun
- 1:07:45chose to head upstairs now i know you guys aren't gun owners but that's a double
- 1:07:50barrel shotgun and he i'm hearing pump action all day with the sound effects
- 1:07:55and that kills me as a gun owner i'm like this guy this fucking guy there's
- 1:07:58no way he's racking anything on that gun.
- 1:08:02Okay, so you were the gun owner. Yes. It looked very small.
- 1:08:08It's a short barrel and that's okay. What I'm saying is he's got two rounds
- 1:08:13in that thing. He's not pump actioning anything.
- 1:08:16It's a break action, so he actually breaks open to you to put the shells in and then close it.
- 1:08:21Those sound effects are him pumping the rounds in. Oh, so he actually did a pump action too?
- 1:08:28Exactly. I didn't notice that. I didn't notice that. They're not matching up
- 1:08:32and that's what makes me nuts as a gun owner.
- 1:08:35And he's yelling about how he's an NRA member, so whatever.
- 1:08:41Alright, so... I'm talking!
- 1:08:44He's just a good nra member as our buddy alex baldwin yeah there you go.
- 1:08:52I'm not afraid to use it so we've got our friend he's going upstairs first of
- 1:08:58all rest in peace spite because we know all good dogs die in our movies that's
- 1:09:04that's a moment of silence right there this poor guy all he's doing is protecting
- 1:09:09his house and you know he's getting offed Mr.
- 1:09:12Key goes upstairs checks the upstairs and gets a sliced ankle for his effort,
- 1:09:20yeah and that's kind of when we get the big the big scene of the big visual
- 1:09:24scene at least of that like torch pumpkin lit up and all of the trick or treat
- 1:09:32lyrics and blood all over his walls and ceilings,
- 1:09:36how badass was that that was freaky man yeah blew my mind red rum and that was
- 1:09:43that was like like some some red rum shit right there,
- 1:09:47i agree uh it blew
- 1:09:50my mind because you know he he gets
- 1:09:53his ankle sliced but the visual of that like jack-o'-lantern
- 1:09:56with this huge torch lit up was like oh my god this guy and trick-or-treat trick-or-treat
- 1:10:04all over the house absolutely and then we get our friend sam who crawled over
- 1:10:10the bed and we have a face-to-face standoff man it's not good.
- 1:10:16You would think you'd be able to kick this little guy's ass But I guess he's
- 1:10:19hurt so We'll give him some credit,
- 1:10:22I mean and I love how like all the stuff That he's hurting
- 1:10:25him with is like Halloween And candy themed Oh yeah Like all the stuff that
- 1:10:30he falls down the stairs onto Is like a bunch of like candy with like Razor
- 1:10:34blades in them and like sharp things And like cutting his hands It's great And
- 1:10:39I thought that was a great touch too Because he falls down and he's got razor blades That's a,
- 1:10:46That's a callback to, you know, again, the.
- 1:10:51It's a callback to what, Tom? Sassus, are you hearing him?
- 1:10:56I lost him when he said it was a call to lost him. Yeah. Yeah, same.
- 1:11:03All right. I hear that. I heard your frustration.
- 1:11:11The razor blades in the candy was like, you know, remember be afraid of raids
- 1:11:18of raids and candy absolutely and he got that candy bar from steve wilkins right,
- 1:11:25So you have the next door neighbor's house, yeah. Earlier on in the night,
- 1:11:29he like grabbed that candy bar really forcefully out of his little bucket there
- 1:11:33that he was giving out candy.
- 1:11:35I gotta call bullshit on this. He can he can't get those locks unlocked but
- 1:11:40he can load a shotgun. Come on, man.
- 1:11:43If some little demon is running, chasing me around the house,
- 1:11:46I can get those locks open pretty easily.
- 1:11:49But I guess that's just me.
- 1:11:52Is this when we got the reveal like with the sack taken off his face yeah this
- 1:11:57is this is where he's crawling on the on the freaking ceilings which we didn't
- 1:12:02know that he could even do this behind.
- 1:12:05He's got spider-man powers yeah he does he
- 1:12:08certainly does he's got alien powers you know like in
- 1:12:11the movies alien when they're like crawling all over the ceiling when they try
- 1:12:14to yeah yeah behind the wall you know yeah absolutely and he certainly does
- 1:12:20because he makes quite an entrance jumping on keeg's head there is a quite a
- 1:12:25tussle we see wilkins saying screw you on the opposite end,
- 1:12:30this is obviously a stunt man or i should
- 1:12:33say it's a stunt woman it's a woman who's playing
- 1:12:36the role of sam who is getting
- 1:12:39there's getting in this brawl for all with mr keeg hence
- 1:12:43the stature is still like the little kid stature and
- 1:12:46getting tossed all over the set of this freaking movie i mean there's a
- 1:12:48hell of a brouhaha forming here a lot
- 1:12:52of head butting a lot of punching in his face it was
- 1:12:57pretty cool actually we grab our shotgun i think we i think we blow off around
- 1:13:02in this guy's head right is that what happens he definitely got him yeah after
- 1:13:08i think it was before after they ripped the burlap sack and they get revealed
- 1:13:13the big pumpkin head moment,
- 1:13:15This was so creepy to me I actually was like Oh my god that's Terrible That's horrifying yeah,
- 1:13:26The burlap sack It's taken off.
- 1:13:32He's actually getting bit by the pumpkin head Little monster guy And then he
- 1:13:36gets a shotgun Around to the dome piece Yeah,
- 1:13:42Oh we're not there yet no we're there he just got shot across the freaking room
- 1:13:46we got 9-1-1 can you please hold which i don't know that i've ever heard that one have you ever called.
- 1:13:58Because my my aunt did 9-1-1 hung up and the cops showed up at my house so yeah
- 1:14:05see so i mean there's got to be some sort of reasonable 9-1-1 please hold i
- 1:14:11was like what the hell kind of bullshit little area.
- 1:14:15I'm dying. I have a demon in my house. Help.
- 1:14:19I mean, I don't know. And then he gets the phone cord pulled on him,
- 1:14:23which is so cliche scary movie, which was so great.
- 1:14:27Yeah, no question. At this point, I'm completely startled. I'm like so...
- 1:14:34You know, this thing is so fake. I'm just so scared at the moment.
- 1:14:38I'm so startled. He's under the blanket, just like all covered up.
- 1:14:43So I'm completely freaked,
- 1:14:46Yeah. So I agree with you.
- 1:14:49The phone cord getting pulled is like a totally slasher movie trope,
- 1:14:56which I think is so great because you can always depend on that phone to not work.
- 1:15:00Anymore with cell phones, it's kind of hard to get that worked in,
- 1:15:03but the older movies for sure.
- 1:15:05Yeah. So we've got the hand that's independent of the body that stabs him in the foot.
- 1:15:09He goes down again. And the hand slithers over to Sam to get reunited,
- 1:15:15a little callback to the thing.
- 1:15:17And then what does he do? He doesn't kill him.
- 1:15:20He kind of just takes a candy bar and walks out the front door.
- 1:15:24Yeah, because he gave him a trick or treat. Yeah, there you go.
- 1:15:27That's all he wanted, right?
- 1:15:29Well, at that, I think he kind of knows there's something else.
- 1:15:32There's another surprise waiting for him later on in the day.
- 1:15:35I'd like to think that there's some sort of limit that Sam, he can't only but kill one person a night.
- 1:15:42No, I thought because he gave him the candy, he was like, oh,
- 1:15:46okay, trick. Yeah. And then he bounces.
- 1:15:50A treat, and I'm out of here. Okay, thanks for the candy, old man.
- 1:15:53I'm out of here. He just wanted candy.
- 1:15:55That's all. And that's, you know what? He got what he asked for.
- 1:15:59It was just a misunderstood maniac killing thing.
- 1:16:03Badass scene, though, man. That fight scene, I gotta be honest with you,
- 1:16:06I thought he was gonna bite it then, no question.
- 1:16:09I had no reservations to the fact that Sam was gonna off this guy.
- 1:16:13I thought Krieg was done, yeah. I thought Krieg was done.
- 1:16:16And the reveal is that he was the bus driver which
- 1:16:19is i was when i first saw this movie man i was
- 1:16:22like what the hell he's a
- 1:16:25bus driver unbelievable so he's
- 1:16:29cursed and that's why he hates halloween so
- 1:16:31much yeah they showed his picture it burning in the flame i thought that was
- 1:16:35great pretty neat yeah i agree with that all right so what we kind of at the
- 1:16:42end of this thing we've got king now handing out candies a full participant
- 1:16:47in Halloween. He's seen the error of his ways.
- 1:16:51And what? He looks across the
- 1:16:52street and literally all of our stories are intersecting at this point.
- 1:16:56We've got the girls driving, which with what looks like New York plates, mind you.
- 1:17:02Rhonda almost getting hit by those New York plates, crossing the street with her jack-o'-lantern.
- 1:17:06We see our nasty couple fighting on their way up to the house.
- 1:17:10And we see Billy Wilkins sitting all on his lonesome on his front porch,
- 1:17:15handing out candy with a, I guess, a costume that looks a lot like what his dad was wearing.
- 1:17:22This bloody Suit shirt Yeah so kind of like the wrap up here Right like these
- 1:17:29were all of our People that we just were following Throughout the entire movie
- 1:17:33Yeah I love how they put them all together Again at the end.
- 1:17:384.5 pumpkins 4.5 pumpkins Really I like that Yeah that's a pretty high ranking
- 1:17:45It's a 5 pumpkin system So you're going 4.5 That's pretty damn good, Tom,
- 1:17:51You were impressed So I think just like the story The setting, like just Everything,
- 1:17:58I think it just all brings together Like the spirit of Halloween And that's
- 1:18:02why I like it Yeah, totally Sassus, what did you give Pumpkin White? It's not too scary.
- 1:18:09It's scary enough But it's not good enough for kids But I think it does reach
- 1:18:14a certain level of scary For sure I'm putting it more towards like a 3,
- 1:18:193.5 for me just because like, I mean, we have some like 4s and 5s in my thing.
- 1:18:25I'm like Chucky, Freddy, you know, all the big ones.
- 1:18:29Those are on like a different plane. This was a great movie.
- 1:18:33I think 3.8 maybe at its finest, but it definitely doesn't, I mean,
- 1:18:40I have to save a category for those special ones, you know?
- 1:18:43I understand For me, it started out as a one, and then I'm like, oh my god, this is great.
- 1:18:51Well, it got saved then. You're saying this movie got better as it went on.
- 1:18:55It totally got better as it moved on. Like, like when I saw the couple in the first, like, like,
- 1:19:02you don't think this would be a movie to like show your like children when they
- 1:19:05hit like nine, 10 years old. Oh yeah. It's definitely a good movie.
- 1:19:11Yeah. Yeah. I think it's probably a good introductory introductory, scary movie for sure.
- 1:19:17My had mine. My rating was a three and three quarters pumpkin rating.
- 1:19:23I think it's a damn good movie. It's a cult classic. like we
- 1:19:25described already before i thought it was a fun energetic underrated
- 1:19:29type of a movie sometimes a little bit campy but
- 1:19:33like it always took itself seriously enough to where
- 1:19:36it kind of entered those scary parts in
- 1:19:39which i thought was really cool we did not we did not go
- 1:19:42over the fact that keeg gets it at the end with
- 1:19:45with those kids coming back to to off them
- 1:19:48uh which is suitable and i think kind of satisfying really
- 1:19:51he gets no moment of silence because screw that guy I
- 1:19:54think I think that puts the movie up higher
- 1:19:57than it would have been yeah I agree together yeah I completely agree so closing
- 1:20:04thoughts I thought the soundtrack was pretty decent I didn't really do too much
- 1:20:08work on the soundtrack part of it because some soundtracks are better than others
- 1:20:11I thought this was kind of generic a little bit but what are your what are your guys closing thoughts.
- 1:20:16Yeah, I mean, I think that a lot of things that you thought was going to happen
- 1:20:20didn't happen, but I think I was, like, most of the time, horror movies are
- 1:20:26pretty predictable. These were not.
- 1:20:30Yeah, that's a good point, because a lot of times they follow those same old
- 1:20:34horror movie tropes, and it follows a formula a little bit too much.
- 1:20:41I think you're right. I think this one kind of was a little bit of a curveball. Tom, what do you think?
- 1:20:44I apologize for my crappy Wi-Fi so
- 1:20:48I'll just have time this like I said I just think it's
- 1:20:51it's a really good Halloween movie yeah
- 1:20:55I didn't think it was too scary so 4.5
- 1:20:59pumpkins 4.5 I found that cool very cool guys well let's see next then I whenever
- 1:21:08we put this out it'll be like the next week after we're gonna The next homework
- 1:21:14assignment is going to be Sleepaway Camp,
- 1:21:161983's horror movie Sleepaway Camp.
- 1:21:19It's a B-movie, but I think you guys are really going to enjoy it because it's
- 1:21:24got a lot of super funny slash horrifying stuff.
- 1:21:30I don't know, like sub themes that get brought up.
- 1:21:35And I think, I think Sleepaway Camp will be a good movie to kind of continue
- 1:21:40on our way with horror movie mavens.
- 1:21:43I have to say, guys, I think this went pretty well, all things considered.
- 1:21:47And I'm super pumped. I thought this was, I thought this turned out really well.
- 1:21:51Wi-Fi, you know, barring any Wi-Fi issues, I still think it's turned out pretty
- 1:21:54good. What do you guys think?
- 1:21:57Yeah, I mean, I think this was good. Like I said, big chunks of things I could
- 1:22:04not Understand both of you I feel bad, man, because we were like Reaching out
- 1:22:10to you and you just were gone,
