Fresh Agro Hit with £48K Tax Penalty
Leicester-based organic soft drink wholesaler Fresh Agro Ltd just paid a hefty £48,134 penalty after HMRC accused them of deliberately hiding £68,763 in income between September and November last year. This is part of HMRC’s new crackdown exposing 150 businesses and individuals who avoided paying taxes — with a warning: if you don’t pay at least £25,000 and don’t come clean, your name goes public for a year.
