- 1:59That was very good. Now the real question are there
- 2:02are there be any custom ice shakers coming out that have
- 2:04Nathan's leash on them? Well, if there is a leash, he'll
- 2:08definitely be putting it on them.
- 2:09I'm putting you on a leash now. But as we all know, you know,
- 2:13Ice Shaker has been a pure sponsor of the one and only job
- 2:17in the mouth. And we move forward as a a New
- 2:22Balance of sponsors in the next couple of weeks and months.
- 2:26We're going to be promoting a lot of them.
- 2:28And another one I want to do and I want to post up because I know
- 2:31he reached out to me and West says, where is Manny King?
- 2:34Oh well, cash is king. How tired of are you with your
- 2:38busted home training or your wallet?
- 2:41Sell it as it is. Nobody can get more for your
- 2:47buck with cash, ladies and gentlemen.
- 2:50No agents, no repairs, no BS. That's right.
- 2:55Go to We want to buy yourhouse.com.
- 2:58Yeah, the name says it all. That's We want to buy
- 3:02yourhouse.com. Go now before your house falls
- 3:07over. So that's a good one.
- 3:10Yes, your house falls over. You would hope the house doesn't
- 3:14fall over. Is there a tornado coming or is
- 3:16it just? Or I was going to say, or maybe.
- 3:17It's choppa farting. Maybe it's a big maybe there's a
- 3:20big bad wolf out there we don't know about blowing houses down.
- 3:23Don't worry, this company can solve all that.
- 3:26You know who? Who do you think has the
- 3:27smelliest farts on this panel? Who do you think?
- 3:30How would I know? I mean this and Jabba Smoke.
- 3:32Fight. I mean, maybe with you.
- 3:33Who do you think? I have them more than you do.
- 3:36That's as much as as sample as I have.
- 3:38I mean, Tommy's not here. He would probably take the
- 3:40title. But you're the one with all the
- 3:42Alfredo sauce and honey mustard, arrow.
- 3:44Yeah, his farts don't smell. They don't smell, so Tommy's not
- 3:46here. All that cheese I don't.
- 3:48Know I don't have no context with the other two, no.
- 3:52They don't really don't I I the only time they would smell is in
- 3:55the morning. Sometimes in the morning my
- 3:57stomach rumbles, and I know when my stomach just rumbling, I'm
- 4:00gonna, I'm gonna. So if we got Brittany on, yeah,
- 4:03she would say your farts don't smell. 100% OK. 100% Yep.
- 4:08It doesn't. I'm gonna remember that.
- 4:09We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna test that one.
- 4:11Out. Well, you could test whatever
- 4:12you want. The smell is the smell.
- 4:14It's like fragrance when it comes out of my ass.
- 4:17Anyways, Job is not laughing. I think he's a little lost on
- 4:23that one. All right, what?
- 4:25What was that Job up? What do you, What do you put
- 4:26your hands up? What was that?
- 4:28I can't can't say it on live, but I'll tell you in a minute.
- 4:33We call this a call to the pen. It's done, I think.
- 4:38You can throw a strike on this pitch.
- 4:39It's not going to be my John. It feels like jello right now.
- 4:42Just get it over the plate. I want him to swing.
- 4:44Last time I did that the guy hit one that hasn't landed yet.
- 4:46For a call to the pen. All right, Speedy, if you could
- 4:52do Tommye job to get the music for.
- 4:54This I need a tonic. Yum Yum.
- 4:57Wonderful. I got a little read off for you
- 5:00job but we're going to do it like this and when I'm done I
- 5:03would love for you to comment because I think you have some
- 5:05great expertise on this one. The trade deadline is next
- 5:09Tuesday, less than a week away. As a fair to show you know that
- 5:12I am a die hard fan and I've always been dreaming of trades
- 5:17around this time of year for great players to come to my
- 5:19like. For example, I want the Yankees
- 5:22to get Juliano Suarez and Merrill Kelly from Arizona this
- 5:24year. They'd be perfect fixed for
- 5:26holes on the roster. They're Reynolds who are older
- 5:29and shouldn't cost top end prospects.
- 5:31But The thing is, I never really consider how these types of
- 5:34deals from the prognostication by people and the media like I
- 5:38am now and fans at home. He tasted families of those that
- 5:42are going to be upended by these transactions, both in the majors
- 5:46and perhaps more dramatically so for.
- 5:48Minors. Who aren't making as much money.
- 5:51Luckily for us, we only need to make a call to the pen and get
- 5:55the big righty up for some men's side info on what a trade
- 5:58deadline feels like as a player at different stages in their
- 6:01careers and how it affects teams leading up to it and how guys.
- 6:05Fast. Or don't after the deals.
- 6:09Yeah, it's weird. I saw, I saw one in the minor
- 6:12leagues. It was, it was for Jose Molina,
- 6:16it's the Angels and it was Jeff Canard.
- 6:18And it was just so weird because they're like, hey, go get
- 6:22Canard. And he was actually warming up
- 6:24to come into the game and they had just announced the trade and
- 6:27we're in, we're in AA at the time.
- 6:29And so this is my obviously my first experience, you know, at
- 6:33the trade deadline. And I was like, what I go,
- 6:36what's going on? They're like, oh, he just got
- 6:38traded. And I'm like, what do you, what
- 6:40do you mean? Like we got a game going on.
- 6:42They're like, it doesn't matter. And so they ran down, got him
- 6:45and then he he came in and then it's like, Hey, pack up your
- 6:50stuff. You're heading to wherever
- 6:52Anaheim's AA was. And it's a little bit harder in
- 6:57the minor leagues just because you don't have all the, I guess
- 7:00the extra stuff where, you know, they play in your trip.
- 7:04They do all that. So, but in the big leagues, the
- 7:07craziest one I've ever seen was a three team deal between the
- 7:10Rays, Mariners and the Tigers. When I was with the Tigers and
- 7:14they were training for Austin Jackson and Drew Smiley and we
- 7:19were getting David Price and it was it was crazy because it was
- 7:24almost like to the deadline. This is when the deadline was a
- 7:27little bit longer. It wasn't that 1259 cut off like
- 7:30it went into like 6:00 or whatever be.
- 7:32So anyways, Austin Jackson's playing center and all of a
- 7:38sudden he's like, it looks like this because we're like telling
- 7:43him to come in and we had been inside, like the brass had been
- 7:46back and forth and me and ver like the nosiest people ever.
- 7:49So we're like, something's going down.
- 7:51So I messaged David and I was like, hey, where you at?
- 7:56And he was like, I'm on the golf course.
- 7:57And I was like, you might want to head back to the trop.
- 8:00And he was like, what's up? I go, I don't know for sure, but
- 8:02something's going down. And so literally Dombrowski
- 8:08comes in the dugout and it's like, hey, we need to replace
- 8:11Austin Jackson right now. And so it's like a 2O count in
- 8:15the middle of like the 5th inning.
- 8:17And he had to get in. He had like 2 minutes to spare
- 8:19before the deadline went in. And you know, it's it's frantic
- 8:23because you don't know what's going on.
- 8:26And then it's like, hey, pack up and, and you get 2 days
- 8:29technically to meet the team, but it's basically you pack up,
- 8:32they have your itinerary and it's like, hey, get to this city
- 8:35or get to where they're at. And you can take your extra day
- 8:38if you want. But depending on the situation,
- 8:40most people don't. I had Ichiro traded in Seattle.
- 8:44Literally just walked across from one side to the other.
- 8:47That was that was that was interesting.
- 8:50That was that was Ichiro's a different, different character.
- 8:53Love that man. It was, it's crazy when you get
- 8:56people like that and I was fortunate enough to play with
- 8:58that decky. But yeah, the the trade.
- 9:00Like fit in right away Ichiro with everybody.
- 9:03Oh, yeah, he's the best, the best, the best.
- 9:06I mean, he's, he's a person that never, he never wore his, his
- 9:11cleats more than once. Wow.
- 9:15That's interesting. And I hope your sneaker discuss
- 9:17it from before. Yeah, he would wear his turfs,
- 9:19but his cleats, he would. He would only wear them one
- 9:22time. So maybe Errol Ichiro's the you
- 9:25know, Cleats version of you. You mean Kobe?
- 9:30Well, I'm saying Ichiro with the cleats, yeah.
- 9:32Kobe was the one that well. You got a lot of sneakers.
- 9:34You think? You think I don't?
- 9:37Know. Yeah, well, I don't have that
- 9:40many cleats he's gone through from the amount of sneakers that
- 9:42I've had over the years. No way.
- 9:44But I mean, he probably went through probably around 56000
- 9:49cleats in his career if if that's that to be true like Job
- 9:53is saying. I mean, if anybody wore out his
- 9:56cleats, it's the guy who had more career hits between, you
- 9:59know, the MLB in Japan than Pete Rose, you know, so.
- 10:03And the crazy part is I was reading like 5 crazy stats about
- 10:06Ichiro just cuz I love him and he's awesome and he you realize
- 10:11he didn't start he didn't get over 3000 hits starting at like
- 10:1520. He didn't have his first hit
- 10:17till he was 27. That's crazy.
- 10:20Yeah, and came into the league hitting 200 hits every.
- 10:22Year and so that's so he's he's the oldest at 27 to get to 3000
- 10:28hits. Who's the second oldest?
- 10:34He was 23 years old. 3rd baseman.
- 10:38Adrian Beltre. George Bratt Yaunt George Bratt.
- 10:45Nope, Nope. I.
- 10:48Don't know who is it. Wade Boggs.
- 10:51Wade Boggs. Yep, of course of.
- 10:54Course, he's also from Omaha. Wade, Omaha.
- 10:56Guy. Nope.
- 10:58Omaha. Omaha.
- 10:59So, so Jabba, you don't have to name any names if you don't
- 11:03want. And just to wrap this up, you
- 11:05know, each row is an example of a guy who definitely fit in.
- 11:08We there's obviously going to be the opposite, right?
- 11:10And what's what happens? Kevin Euclis.
- 11:16Oh, that. Was quick.
- 11:17That was easy. What was that?
- 11:19What what? What the hell was?
- 11:21That I mean, that was a trade. It was, it was offseason.
- 11:24It wasn't during the year, during during the year those
- 11:29that's different because you're usually getting, we were always
- 11:33in a position where we were contending.
- 11:36So we were always getting somebody that was established.
- 11:39So everybody kind of had a mutual when we got David Price.
- 11:43So you were getting guys like that where if they were
- 11:46established, you weren't getting young guys where they're trying
- 11:49to get their feet wet and trying to fit in.
- 11:52That's why I've said before why I love what they do in spring
- 11:55training with these young kids is invite them to spring
- 11:58training for a couple weeks so us as older guys can get to know
- 12:01their personalities. And so when they come up, they
- 12:04don't feel so uncomfortable. So I guess I've never been in a
- 12:07situation like during the trade deadline where we weren't
- 12:11getting somebody that was already established where you,
- 12:13you knew they were, you obviously may not know them
- 12:15personally, but you knew like of them and had played against
- 12:20them. So in mutual respect.
- 12:21But yeah, the the trade one is Eucalis for sure 100% but not at
- 12:25the trade deadline. Well, we know he hates Kevin
- 12:29Euclis. There's no question that he
- 12:30does. But you know, Kevin Euclis gets
- 12:33on base, and Moneyball told us that's the most important thing
- 12:37in. The game, please.
- 12:38Let's move on to the next segment.
- 12:39And guys, that's some great stuff we get to learn every
- 12:43week. Kevin Paul Freaking Euclis.
- 12:45I couldn't stand him as a Red Sox in his swing.
- 12:48That weird swing that he's grabbing the top of the barrel
- 12:51made no. Sense his teammates didn't
- 12:54either. He he was one of those guys
- 12:56where it didn't matter, like it didn't matter if they won or
- 13:00lost. Like he'd be pissed if he went
- 13:02over 4, but if they lost and he went like 3 for four with like a
- 13:05double in three stakes, he'd be like super happy.
- 13:08Like he threw his helmet in the dugout one time and smoked
- 13:11Manny, and they had to hold Manny back because he's like,
- 13:14dude, we're up six to two. Like, what are you doing?
- 13:19Like, relax. Yeah, well, it sounds like
- 13:22Eucalis. I mean, even when he came to the
- 13:25Yankees, he was an ugly SOP and all he does I've.
- 13:28Heard he only played like 10 games until he broke his back.
- 13:33You know what's so funny about him is the whole story about
- 13:36Kevin Eucalis is the only the only story that I can remember
- 13:39listening to him is oh, my brother-in-law is Tom Brady.
- 13:42I'm married to his his sister. Who cares?
- 13:45You know, I told you that. I told you that story about
- 13:47like, our fantasy. Yeah, that was the first time
- 13:49you ever on the show. Yeah.
- 13:51Oh my gosh, I'm like is this dude Me and CC were like
- 13:54seriously dude? I think I made this the first
- 13:57time you were on the show of you fighting Eucalis.
- 14:03Does a piece of work. Yeah, I'm sure he was.
- 14:06That's why I had to add into the into the.
- 14:07What's that smell? I'd like to ask Tom Brady what
- 14:10he thinks about Kevin Euclid. It's probably not that good.
- 14:15Anyways, we have one more segment before we go to
- 14:18analytics and we call this Inside Baseball.
- 14:21Now let's go deep, deep inside. What I am excited.
- 14:25This is inside baseball. All right guys, here we go into
- 14:34inside baseball. We got a few stories around the
- 14:37league going to lead off the top one.
- 14:39We'll get everyone to react to this main story.
- 14:43Ethan Holiday did not go first overall as expected in baseball
- 14:48draft, but the baseball draft is quite unique, gentlemen.
- 14:52You don't have to go first overall to get the most money,
- 14:55and Ethan Holiday got the most money ever for a bonus for were
- 15:01the Colorado Rockies selected to his father's team.
- 15:05Holiday was a fourth pick overall behind Willits, Bremer,
- 15:10Cade and then Ethan Holiday. How do we feel about $8 million
- 15:19for a guy who was the 4th pick, not the first pick, and hasn't
- 15:24played a game in? First of all, and I, I always
- 15:27say this, he went to Colorado. It's his father's team.
- 15:30So obviously he comes, his father's like the king and he's
- 15:34like a Prince. He grew up around that
- 15:36organization for such a long time, the Colorado Rockies.
- 15:39I'm sure ownership adores this kid.
- 15:43I think he's going to be a superstar there.
- 15:44They're going to build the team around him just like they built
- 15:47the team around their father or his father when he was, you
- 15:50know, coming up from the minor leagues.
- 15:52I think it's a great story. I'm not going to complain that
- 15:55this guy's making. You can't argue or complain
- 15:57about the talent of this kid and how much money.
- 16:01It doesn't matter. 9,000,010 million, 12 million.
- 16:04There are college coaches making more money than that.
- 16:06They don't even deserve it. This kid is an up and coming
- 16:09superstar. He was the bona fide number one
- 16:12pick and he falls over there to four to the Colorado Rockies.
- 16:16I I just it's a good story. I think that's all it is.
- 16:19Stop talking. I'm not talking about you, but
- 16:21why is anybody complaining about how much money he makes to me,
- 16:25those that's pennies for what this kids going to make 6-7
- 16:28years down the road when he becomes a free agent.
- 16:31So I think the kids a better player than his younger his
- 16:34older brother. That's why what I think he
- 16:36thinks going to be. I think he's going to be star in
- 16:37his league. Yeah, I.
- 16:40Was going to go ahead, Spitty. I was going to say like, I think
- 16:43the Rockies are not going to be spending much money anyway, so
- 16:46they're after the Chris Bryant. Contract $9 million.
- 16:49Yeah, I don't. They haven't done much anyway.
- 16:50They're not going to go anywhere, so why would they try
- 16:52to expend the extra money? Like there's it's not, it's one
- 16:54of those things where I don't think it's as big of a deal
- 16:56because it's not really. There's no salary cap in
- 16:58baseball. Plus we talk about right at the
- 17:00end of the lockout like how bad we felt for.
- 17:02All these. Leaguers like we wanted, you
- 17:04want them to be able to make some money because the
- 17:06arbitration system is just so bad.
- 17:07You look at it back-to-back years, I mean, between the
- 17:10brothers, they signed for over 17,000,000.
- 17:13So the Holiday family is doing pretty good.
- 17:16Yeah. It's just it's different because
- 17:18it you have a pool of money and like people always look at it
- 17:22like slotted or whatever, but you take a pool of money.
- 17:25He has leverage. Obviously he was not going to
- 17:27turn down any type of money being drafted in the top five.
- 17:30Like surprisingly he fell to four, which was surprised a lot
- 17:33of us. But yeah, I mean, he, he can
- 17:38demand what he wants because he's young, he's out of high
- 17:40school, he has leverage, obviously has the pedigree I
- 17:44expect him to do. I expect him to be close to his
- 17:47brother. I didn't expect him to be almost
- 17:49$1,000,000 more because his brother signed for 8.1.
- 17:53So, but I mean, hats off, Go make your money while you can.
- 17:56And they're going to. I mean, it's a great situation
- 17:59for him. His dad obviously coaches at
- 18:00Oklahoma State with his brother, but they're not too far away.
- 18:05So I, I think it's, it's a great fit for them and I think it
- 18:10gives, it gives Rockies fans something to cheer about, which
- 18:13there hasn't been much to cheer about.
- 18:14So I think it's it's a win win for both of them.
- 18:17Let's see how fast they shoot them up the ladder or if they
- 18:21kind of let him figure it out or they're like, hey, you got your
- 18:26money figured out in the big leagues.
- 18:27I could. I could see all situations
- 18:29happening really. So why does the 4th overall pick
- 18:33get more money than the top pick overall in baseball?
- 18:37How does that even make sense? It just kind of depends.
- 18:41Well, agent pedigree, like there's a lot that goes into it.
- 18:46Leverage. Like we had a kid that got
- 18:47drafted in the fifth round last year, high school kid going to
- 18:53LSU and he got fifth round, but he got 1.4.
- 18:57So there's leverage. He's they knew he was going to
- 19:00LSU. So let's let's overpay him a
- 19:02little bit. So it's like, oh, if you come to
- 19:05go in our farm system instead of college, we'll give you this
- 19:07money type of. Thing, yeah.
- 19:09So yeah, kind of. But if you're like a junior or
- 19:12senior, it's kind of like, hey, we can ask for more and see what
- 19:15happens. But you don't have as much
- 19:18leverage on the other side of it as some of these kids that, you
- 19:23know, that have that and like, hey, I can still go to college.
- 19:27Like I can still do kind of whatever I want.
- 19:30So yeah, it's more of like a leverage thing.
- 19:34I would say is probably the biggest, biggest way to describe
- 19:38it. Because if you don't have a
- 19:40choice to go anywhere, then it's kind of like you're stuck with
- 19:44your money. But yeah, those other guys with
- 19:46their picks, obviously they're not going to complain too much.
- 19:48But yeah, well, at least I at least I wouldn't.
- 19:53Baseball is very unique. Every other sport that I know,
- 19:56it's like slotted in how much you.
- 19:58Make yeah cuz I mean you have yeah top five I mean it gives
- 20:02you in the in the crazy part too is like three of the five top
- 20:06five were college guys and you know it's and they give you you
- 20:10can go on and see what like the evaluation for the number one
- 20:13pick the pick value of this year was 11,000,000 and.
- 20:21We were fish and I were talking about this off air and Bremner
- 20:25and like I think Bremner was part of it a story because he
- 20:30didn't even come close. Mind you, 7.6 million isn't
- 20:33nothing to ride. Oh, you know, it's like, oh.
- 20:35And Willis was like 882 for the first pick.
- 20:38Yeah, it was 8276. Kate Anderson got 8.8 and then
- 20:44Ethan got 9 million which his pick value is 8.7.
- 20:48So his was closest to actually his pick value.
- 20:52So but everybody else has kind of been under their pick value,
- 20:55which usually you see a lot of the high school guys be a little
- 20:57bit more it that doesn't surprise me with Bremner and his
- 21:03and you know, he was probably crapping his pants when he got
- 21:06drafted to overall anyways. I was talking to Kyle Peterson
- 21:09from ESPN who's going to come on the show mid late August.
- 21:13I talked to him today and talk about them stuff.
- 21:16But yeah, we were talking about it during the draft and we were
- 21:18like, I he went way too high. But the story's cool, so I guess
- 21:21we'll see what happens. All right, let's move on to
- 21:24something that we talked about a lot at the beginning of the
- 21:26season, and that is Rafael Devers playing first base for
- 21:33the San Francisco Giants. And in his first game, he played
- 21:35an error free game over at first.
- 21:38He went 2 for five in the at the plate with an RBI and a nine.
- 21:42Nothing win. Here's the quote from Devers,
- 21:45who, if you remember correctly, abjectly refused to play first
- 21:49base for the Red Sox when they asked him and LED to his
- 21:53departure there. He was basically ADH.
- 21:55He's DH most of the time since he's been over in San Francisco.
- 21:59But this is what he said. It keeps me active.
- 22:01It keeps my head out of just thinking about the next at bat.
- 22:04Deborah says that through an interpreter.
- 22:06I'm kind of the player that likes to be active, likes to be
- 22:09on the field. I'd rather be on the field and
- 22:11be in the cage hitting all the time and just thinking about the
- 22:13next at bat. So obviously he's not playing
- 22:18third base anymore. They got a Gold Glover and Matt
- 22:20Chapman over there as well, just like they had Bregman in Boston.
- 22:24But pretty big slap in the face to the Red Sox.
- 22:28He's he's butt hurt because Alex bred me came to the team, he
- 22:33signed a big contract, he signed a three-year deal and he took
- 22:36his spot and a lot of red. I've, I've spoke to a lot of Red
- 22:40Sox fans over the last couple of weeks, ever since he was, I was
- 22:44on my cruise when I heard Devers was traded to San Francisco.
- 22:48And then I look at the trade and I heard about the trade.
- 22:50I was like, wow, San Francisco ripped off the Red Sox.
- 22:55They gave him absolutely nothing.
- 22:57Doo Doo. As you know, it was absolute Doo
- 23:01Doo. And Devers came out and said he
- 23:04would not play first base with the Red Sox at all.
- 23:07He he's not going to play the field if he's not playing third
- 23:10base. I just think it shows you that
- 23:13Devers couldn't stand being there anymore.
- 23:16He thought that the Red Sox backstabbed them by bringing
- 23:19Bregman in after paying him, what, a year before that, a lot
- 23:24of money, over $300 million, when he could have went to the
- 23:27Mets, as the story was that the Mets were gunning for him if he
- 23:31went to free agency. He just thought that the Red Sox
- 23:34stabbed them in the back. I could understand that when
- 23:36you're making three $300 million in Joba, you know this.
- 23:39You never even got a chance to make 300.
- 23:41Why are you bitching and moaning?
- 23:43Go play the game. If they want you to play first,
- 23:45they want you to play this center field position or you
- 23:48they want you to sit on your derriere and just be ADH as
- 23:53we've seen people and players do later in their careers.
- 23:57You do what they want when they're paying you that kind of
- 23:59money. So I, I don't know the butt
- 24:01hurt. But now he's not even
- 24:03complaining about playing first base with San Francisco.
- 24:05It just shows you how immature Raphael Devers was and why the
- 24:11Red Sox decided to part ways with them.
- 24:13Now it's interesting because obviously you want to take shots
- 24:16at the Red Sox with how bad he felt like he was mistreated by
- 24:18the organization and rightfully so.
- 24:19And I think this is mostly what that is.
- 24:21Now, it's interesting with the internal culture with the
- 24:23Giants. Like he hasn't really brought
- 24:25the big, big offense. He himself has played well, but
- 24:28the rest of the offense has not played great around him.
- 24:30Some of that has to do with injuries too.
- 24:31So you wonder how much maybe the internal culture is still
- 24:33affecting the Giants. Just getting used to him because
- 24:36the Red Sox have played better since he's Lafia.
- 24:38They had a 10 game-winning trigger at all against bad teams
- 24:41into the All Star break. And the Giants, they had a six
- 24:44game losing streak recently. So maybe still getting used to
- 24:46the internal culture with that. But yeah, he's having a right to
- 24:49say, all right, I'm going to go take a shot at the Red Sox
- 24:51organization for the way I got treated.
- 24:52I just, I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
- 24:54It's just he, he got buttered because they did.
- 24:57Bregman thought they were taking his position away, realized
- 25:00that. Well, you know what?
- 25:01Let me swallow my pride, see what can happen.
- 25:04I don't know if you guys saw will Clark go at him like to,
- 25:07you know, work on his footwork and you know, will coming out
- 25:09and saying you're going to work with me, blah, blah, blah.
- 25:12I think he just realized that, you know, if I if I am going to
- 25:15do what I think I'm best at, and that's me not thinking about the
- 25:18next at bat, then playing first is the only only option I really
- 25:21got. So, you know, you got to swallow
- 25:23your pride sometimes and, you know, we'll see what happens.
- 25:26OK. We go from there and we're going
- 25:28to kind of rapid fire these next few ones.
- 25:31The Dodgers bullpen takes another hit before today where
- 25:35they had a walk off. They've got blown out again,
- 25:39blew up another lead late in games.
- 25:41They a closer Tanner Scott felt a twinge in the old forearm
- 25:45Jabba and immediately Winston came out of the game.
- 25:49He was put on the 15 day IL. Why they still have a 15 day and
- 25:53a 10 day? I don't really understand.
- 25:55I I never really understood why there's one or the other or how
- 25:59we decide one gets the other. But regardless, it doesn't sound
- 26:03good. They were already talking about
- 26:05getting some more relievers because let's just listen to the
- 26:08the just the list of guys they have on this IL right now.
- 26:13Michael Kopesh, Blake trying and Bruce Agraderol all injured
- 26:18trying and should be coming back soon.
- 26:20Are we surprised? Are we?
- 26:22Surprised they're they're using Alexis Diaz, who flamed out with
- 26:26the Reds as like their best reliever, right?
- 26:28Now, nobody is surprised that right now the Dodgers are
- 26:32playing with a burnt out bullpen, even their roster when
- 26:36it comes to their pitching. I mean, they have glass now in.
- 26:39They have glass now out. Oh, Tony's back, is he?
- 26:43Is he going to pitch a full season, Sasaki?
- 26:46I mean, you paid him a lot of money.
- 26:48Glass Glass now went 7:00 and 12:00.
- 26:50Yeah, he he had a great start today.
- 26:52Glass now when? 7 innings, 12 strikeouts.
- 26:54Best start he's had all year. But that's the problem best
- 26:56like. But that's hit or miss.
- 26:59And then if you're healthy? Yeah, well, that's that's the
- 27:01problem with the Dodgers. And that's what we said.
- 27:03You could pay all the money. You can spend all the money.
- 27:06Money doesn't always make you a champion.
- 27:09As we, yes, as we said, seen this with the Yankees for many,
- 27:12many years. And now we're seeing it what the
- 27:15last time the Yankees won was 2009.
- 27:17The Yankees have spend, they've had the, as far as the cap is
- 27:20concerned, one of the highest in baseball, if not the highest,
- 27:24and they still can't get over the hump.
- 27:25So my, my factual thought to this, this is the Dodgers are
- 27:30going to still be in it to win it.
- 27:31They're still going to go out there.
- 27:33They got a great farm system. If they want a pitcher or two or
- 27:37three, they're going to spend the money.
- 27:39They're going to spend the talent to bring those guys in
- 27:43because they're going to have a chance no matter what in the
- 27:46playoffs. When you have a healthy roster
- 27:49with this talent, I I don't think it's going to make a
- 27:51difference. I just, I'm not surprised I'm
- 27:54not. Yeah, the one thing there's the
- 27:55Dodgers do well, in addition to spending money, too, is that
- 27:57they actually do a great job rebirthing bench players, and
- 28:01both pitchers have failed on other teams a lot of the time.
- 28:04Kopeck was one of those guys last year.
- 28:05He was a starter with the White Sox for a while.
- 28:07He had a lot of injury problems, so never developed that same
- 28:09way. And they've done that for years,
- 28:11too. So there's going to be two of
- 28:12those types of guys on selling teams that were top prospects.
- 28:15They won't be surprised if they fit right into this bullpen.
- 28:19Yeah, so finish difference between 10 and 15 tennis
- 28:22position players, 15 as pitchers.
- 28:24Oh, I had no idea. That's so fascinating.
- 28:27OK, I guess that makes sense as far as like, how many starts
- 28:30they would miss in that situation.
- 28:31So before we get out of this one, who are they trading for
- 28:36now? If it's me, I know who I want to
- 28:39be my closer. If I'm the Dodgers, and it has
- 28:43to be Mason Miller on the Athletics, he has by far the
- 28:46best stuff on a team that is going nowhere, like always.
- 28:51I think the Phillies are going to get they almost did last.
- 28:53Year, I know they're going to want a lot for him, but if this
- 28:56is the Dodgers we're talking about, they have a lot.
- 28:59This is the guy you go get and he's not that far away.
- 29:02Playing in Sacramento right now. That guy is unbelievable.
- 29:05Who else Speedy is available right now at the deadline for
- 29:08them. I think what it is is more it's
- 29:10more of a process thing for them is that's more of what I'm
- 29:13getting at with like rebirthing guys that were not thought of
- 29:16that way. I think Tony Gosselin was a good
- 29:18example of that. I think he was a journeyman for
- 29:21a while. They've done that with a lot of
- 29:22the Nationals relievers that they traded for over the years.
- 29:26That's more of what I'm getting at.
- 29:27I think it's going to be like two or three guys that are very
- 29:29random or like we're failed prospects somewhere else, is
- 29:31what I'm thinking. Maybe one of the youngsters with
- 29:33the Orioles, Maybe they get one of those.
- 29:34Guardians. They've got a ton of arms in
- 29:36their bullpen, yeah. Yeah, Class A is being rumored
- 29:40to be on the move if they can't snap out.
- 29:42I don't think it's going to be anyone big for the dodge.
- 29:44I think it's to be like two or three, like surprise ones.
- 29:46No. Manny Lee says Stearns better
- 29:49get the Mets another relief. Pitcher.
- 29:51I agree and I would look at the Guardians for that.
- 29:53Not Class A necessarily because I think he'll be too pricey, but
- 29:55I wouldn't one mind. Heron or Gaddis are one of those
- 29:58guys for the Mets. All right, Well, there was a
- 30:01real fascinating thing, Errol. As you know, you're the elder
- 30:05statesman on this program. Thank you.
- 30:07But even this guy who pitched 5 innings earlier on this.
- 30:13Little Rich Hill. Mr. Rich Hill, 45 years young,
- 30:19returns to start for the Royals at the age of 45.
- 30:23Made his debut Tuesday night. Lil Rusty did his five innings,
- 30:28three runs, one strikeout, you know, 90 pitches.
- 30:33Got through 5 innings, though, at age 45 in Major League
- 30:36Baseball. Top Brave on.
- 30:37Junior team. 14th Team. Yeah, playing against the team
- 30:41that drafted him many, many, many years ago.
- 30:45I got to give, I got to give this guy a lot of credit because
- 30:49anybody that could get back into the big league, stepping away
- 30:51from it for a little bit of time and then gets back on a mound
- 30:55and could just throw. I know our boy Nick Goody was
- 30:58trying to do that early this season.
- 31:00He was throwing on the mound. He was posting it up on
- 31:02Instagram. Oh, I got 91, I got to 92.
- 31:05If I can hit 95, I'm going to. I can definitely try out for a
- 31:09big league team. Father Time usually hits you and
- 31:13when it hits you, it hits you flat on your ass.
- 31:16I, I, I am impressed that Rich Hill could still be able to
- 31:20throw the ball in a Major League level.
- 31:22I just think, you know, when you know, it's over, it's over.
- 31:28And I just, I'm not going to bet on this, but if anybody could do
- 31:33it, it's Rich Hill because I've seen him do crazy things.
- 31:37He was playing for the Long Island Ducks before he came back
- 31:40to the majors. And then he got that $40 million
- 31:42contract from the Dodgers, which I was just like shocked that the
- 31:46Dodgers would pay him that kind of money.
- 31:48Just think, you step away from baseball, you're paying to play
- 31:52baseball with the Ducks, and now you're making $40 million
- 31:56because you had one good season and the Dodgers give you that
- 31:59extension. I mean, incredible story.
- 32:01I mean this could be a storybook ending and maybe they make a
- 32:04movie out of. It it'll be a movie that's.
- 32:06Literally what I was saying though, with the Dodgers making
- 32:07random dudes good again, Rich Hill got his career like
- 32:10rebirthed it away. It's bumped around many
- 32:12different teams obviously. I think he had two stints with
- 32:13the Red. Disney.
- 32:14We should pitch this to Disney. Yeah, but yeah, definitely
- 32:17incredible story. Rich, I'll be your agent for
- 32:19this one. Definitely a great story, I
- 32:21know. Disney had that movie The Rookie
- 32:23years ago about that pitcher, Jim Morris.
- 32:25Yeah, Well, this one would be the journeyman, right?
- 32:27It would just be like, he's just everywhere.
- 32:30He's played for literally everybody in this entire league.
- 32:34I guess at this point, Jim Moyer just.
- 32:36Mentioning Jim Jamie Moore, that would be, I guess, this
- 32:38generation's version of. That Moyer was a better player.
- 32:41Agree, but. But just say you like launch
- 32:42Ebony was. And we got one last thing to do,
- 32:45guys. I want to end this segment by
- 32:47taking a look at the standings in baseball right now.
- 32:52Do we have to we? Got this 100 games into the
- 32:55season. All right, we're about 100 games
- 32:58in. We'll start with the National
- 32:59League. Mets 1/2 up on the Phillies as
- 33:04this moment. New Orleans under 500.
- 33:07Braves season from hell. Nationals not being taken
- 33:10seriously. We'll start with the NL E.
- 33:13It's 2 horse race guys. The beginning of the season, we
- 33:17thought the Braves would be involved a little bit more than
- 33:20this, but are we talking about two real contenders or are we
- 33:27talking about two really flawed teams that need to make a big
- 33:30move, right? Now, the only team in that
- 33:32division has a chance to win a championship this year, and this
- 33:35is not hatred to the Mets, is the Philadelphia Phillies.
- 33:39They're the only team that I think when it comes down to the
- 33:43playoffs and the Dodgers and the National League, because I think
- 33:47there'll be a surprise team in the National League that could
- 33:50make a run. There's nobody besides Philly.
- 33:53I know the Mets and Mets fans, I want to believe all the better
- 33:56than they were last year and they made that run.
- 33:58That was last year and this is this year.
- 34:01It's a different time, it's a different game.
- 34:05And again, you got to get a lot of luck.
- 34:07And the Mets were very lucky last year with some of the
- 34:10timely hitting they had throughout the playoffs.
- 34:12So I don't know. If an Arizona getting hurt a
- 34:15bunch. I don't know if Lindor can get
- 34:17as hot as he did. And, and obviously it's cold
- 34:20right now. Yeah, I just, I don't know.
- 34:23I, I don't think it's going to be possible.
- 34:25The Mets are making the playoffs.
- 34:26I just think they're going to fall short again this year.
- 34:29Then I'm making it to the NLCS. So it's Philadelphia's the only
- 34:33team out of the bomb. They're the better team with
- 34:34more experience, yeah. And I think, Speedy, why don't
- 34:36you take the the central? We got to move this segment.
- 34:39I apologize. You got to move this one along.
- 34:41Why don't you take the central? The Central also has two big
- 34:45dogs, and one of them is a major surprise.
- 34:48Milwaukee sitting a game ahead of the Cubs right now in the
- 34:52lead of the Central 20 games. Are you surprised?
- 34:54Over 500 the Reds few games. Over 500 The Cardinals one game
- 34:59Where's? Goody, Where's Goody?
- 35:01Because I want to. I want to stick it to Goody
- 35:03right now that Cincinnati is falling flat on their face.
- 35:06I told you, Goody. They're not good.
- 35:09They're not good. I mean, there's only two.
- 35:11Two hours, they're OK. Though it's not dead.
- 35:13Yet they're not making the playoffs.
- 35:15It's. Going to be tough for them, but
- 35:19what, speedy? What?
- 35:20Why don't you tell us a little bit about, yeah, the surprising
- 35:23Brewers? Yeah, it's interesting because
- 35:25the Brewers in like, I think 3 out of the four, like super.
- 35:30Like when you look at hitting like the biggest priorities with
- 35:32advanced stats, they were actually like bottom five in the
- 35:35league. So it's crazy like this pace
- 35:37that they're on right now and they're beating a lot of really
- 35:39good teams. So they have the best record in
- 35:40the National League against above 500 teams.
- 35:43They just swept the Dodgers anything.
- 35:45They won five out of six against the Dodgers in a in a span.
- 35:48They did well against the Giants.
- 35:49They've done well against the Cubs.
- 35:51The one matches that they have with an offense that still is
- 35:54very flawed, like I was, I was concerned about them.
- 35:57The Brewers line of death is not very good at all.
- 36:00And then the Cubs are the other extreme.
- 36:01The Cubs have been, besides the Dodgers, the best offense in the
- 36:04league, and they have very questionable pitching.
- 36:07And so it's kind of a weird dynamic of two extreme teams the
- 36:10way it is. The Cubs have a better run
- 36:12differential. It's probably a little more
- 36:13sustainable at this point. The Brewers, you think they cool
- 36:16off eventually, but they have a they have a system, a factory
- 36:19that works with their pitching that they can get so many guys,
- 36:21even losing guys to make work. My brother Troy, when I saw him
- 36:25recently, compared to the American League version of the
- 36:28Rays, they're looking like that, right?
- 36:29Now he's. They're not, you know what it is
- 36:31with you and I, I got to say this.
- 36:34I, it bothers the hell out of me and I, I know I'm not taking
- 36:39shots at any of your brothers. You spit out so much lyrics and
- 36:44I mean a lot. And you come to one thing and
- 36:48you mentioned your brother in comparison to one team to
- 36:51another. I, I do not see a comparison
- 36:54like that. Your problem is, is when you
- 36:56listen to something, you always use it in a monologue or in your
- 37:00conversations that scare people away.
- 37:03This is not the same team. So I, I, and in the same
- 37:06conversation that we've had off air on some of the things that
- 37:09you say. It irks me when you say things
- 37:12like this and then you fall flat on your face when you're wrong
- 37:15about it, including your brothers.
- 37:18It's horrible. I can't compare one team to
- 37:20another in another year, especially what he's trying to
- 37:23compare right now. It's not true.
- 37:25It's not true. So.
- 37:28Screw the job, but let's let's give you the West Dodgers.
- 37:31Way ahead, everybody. 17 games, 99.
- 37:33Percent of the world. The Padres, only eight games
- 37:37over, kind of in the same falling off trajectory as the
- 37:41Giants, who are a game and a half behind them.
- 37:44Those teams were right there with the Dodgers.
- 37:46What happened to those guys? This is an interesting division.
- 37:50We didn't think the giants would even stand a chance in in this
- 37:53division and and they're holding on.
- 37:55I mean, they're, it's crazy to see like, you know, how the
- 37:58differentials are so are so vast and obviously some of these top
- 38:02teams and they even 2nd place teams.
- 38:04But I, I think what comes down to it is just the depth and what
- 38:08like, even with all the injuries from the pitching staff of what
- 38:11the Dodgers have, it's just the depth of what they can do and
- 38:13score runs and, and how they go about scoring runs and, and they
- 38:17can score them in bunches at times.
- 38:19I mean, show he's at 5 homers in a row.
- 38:21And then the Padres, Padres talent is deep.
- 38:25Their pitching is, is, is something to, to see if it holds
- 38:30up. I'd love the division and you're
- 38:33going to get two of them out of it to see if the Giants can hold
- 38:37up is probably going to be is going to be the biggest
- 38:39question. I mean, Ver got his first win.
- 38:42If you could get him on a roll in the second-half, that could
- 38:45be a different that could be the difference maker.
- 38:48But I think it's still a 2 headed race in that monster.
- 38:51All right, let's move over to the American League.
- 38:54Let's put that one up on the screen.
- 38:56American League East, Yankees four games back at Toronto, lost
- 39:01again tonight. The Red Sox are only one game
- 39:05back in the win column of the Yankees, but have 3 losses in
- 39:09hand for the Yanks. So there's two games behind the
- 39:10Yankees, technically. The Rays three games behind the
- 39:13Yankees. All of them are over 500.
- 39:16The Yankees had a big early lead.
- 39:19You know, they're the best defensive team in baseball and
- 39:22they're savages. But Errol, are they going to be
- 39:26able to come out of this division the way this is
- 39:28looking? I think the Yankees will make
- 39:30one, maybe two or three big moves.
- 39:33I don't see Brian Cashman sitting pat with what the
- 39:37Yankees are producing right now offensively and even the
- 39:40pitching wise. They need bullpen arms.
- 39:42I expect them to get one big 1 and I also expect the Yankees,
- 39:46they had a bat, maybe 2. The Yankees are going to be in
- 39:49it to win it no matter what. This is an organization that
- 39:52expects superstars and expect winning and making the playoffs
- 39:57every single year. Are they going to win?
- 39:59I don't know. They they definitely need some
- 40:02bats in the middle of that lineup.
- 40:04There's not enough hitting and consistency where they're going
- 40:07to get over the hump. I I do not, I think it's fool's
- 40:10gold right now to believe that the Blue Jays are playing at a
- 40:13high level and they're going to continue doing this for the next
- 40:1680 games. I do not see that as much as I
- 40:20think the Blue Jays are sensational and what they've
- 40:22done in the last five weeks. And as far as the Red Sox are
- 40:25concerned, the Red Sox are going to fall flat on their face like
- 40:28they always do over the last three to four years.
- 40:31They're not going anywhere. And I like Alex Bregman.
- 40:35And if I was Alex, even with the contract he's going to buy, he's
- 40:39going to step out of that contract at the end of the
- 40:42season because he's not going to.
- 40:43He's having such a great year. He can get more money.
- 40:46Don't be surprised if he doesn't end up a Red Sox next year.
- 40:49I expect him to go to free agency and show me the money, as
- 40:54we all heard with Jerry Maguire, so I expect that to happen
- 40:58again. Speedy, I'm going to give you
- 41:00the West. We'll let Jabba talk about the
- 41:03Central where he played for two of those slots.
- 41:05So Speedy the West is looking very simple.
- 41:09You're a Houston. I don't think they're cheating
- 41:12anymore, but they're still winning somehow.
- 41:14I couldn't believe it at the beginning of the season, but
- 41:16there they are. Game's over the Seattle Mariners
- 41:19six games over and the six games back of Houston, TX starting to
- 41:25come around a little bit three games over 500.
- 41:28Jacob degrom obviously has made a difference over there.
- 41:32Speedy. I want to talk about a little
- 41:33bit about Texas is comeback. You know, like this big comeback
- 41:38from Texas who really were an afterthought.
- 41:39What do you watch? Series team not that long ago,
- 41:43my friends. Yeah, they were an afterthought,
- 41:44but they always had a good run differential.
- 41:46It was just a matter of if their offense could even be league
- 41:48average because their pitching was really good and it was being
- 41:50wasted for a while for the first probably 2 1/2 months of the
- 41:53season. But now it's actually playing a
- 41:54little better where if they can just get league average offense
- 41:57with the shocking and wet with the area, what they what they
- 42:00have a couple of deadline moves they'll probably need because
- 42:03their young players haven't been great outside of Josh.
- 42:06I think he's been in and out with injury as well.
- 42:08And trims or not, that I think gives the Rangers still the
- 42:12highest upside a little more than the Mariners.
- 42:14I think the Mariners are still kind of battling a lot of
- 42:16injuries. So I think they're kind of what
- 42:18they've always been that always team, the first team out type
- 42:21thing. I don't really see much upside
- 42:23besides that depth wise in their organizational system as well.
- 42:28Their stars are there, no doubt, but they lack depth.
- 42:30And do they have enough to trade I.
- 42:32Have no clue. Java, Let's talk Central a
- 42:36little bit here to wrap it up. We got the Tigers running away
- 42:40with the division best pitcher in baseball on that squad and
- 42:43Tarek School over there and a lot of other guys having good
- 42:47years. KC Mize, obviously they keep
- 42:50together that bullpen that might be a team that looks for a guy
- 42:54to just put the icing on the cake.
- 42:56Are the Tigers for real? And do your old squads of the
- 42:59Guardians or Royals sitting in second and third have anything
- 43:03to muster? I think if, if, if it's anybody,
- 43:07honestly, I think it's the Guardians.
- 43:09Just with the leadership, I mean, it's tough to tigers
- 43:14coming out of it and they've they've gone 1 and 9 and lost
- 43:18their last 11 of 13. So obviously not the start you
- 43:21want coming out of the break. But I just I think depending on
- 43:28I think you're probably right with the Tigers, like maybe I
- 43:32would say a mid level move. I don't.
- 43:34Think it needs to be anything. Drastic maybe.
- 43:37Maybe add another arm. Do I think Tark's going to do it
- 43:40again? Yeah.
- 43:41He's, he's proven he has the ability, he has the endurance
- 43:44and and we've seen it from back-to-back years.
- 43:46So I think if there's anybody that could muster up anything,
- 43:49I, I love that the Royals are overachieving because it makes
- 43:52for good conversation, you know, over here, because we, we didn't
- 43:57think they were going to do near this.
- 43:59And, you know, see the guys, you know, Aswano, his story's great.
- 44:03Like a couple years ago, he's getting paid 8 bucks to flip
- 44:06burgers and now he's hitting Homer.
- 44:07So he just had two, I think 2:00 today and Salvy hit another one.
- 44:10So they're a fun, energetic team to watch.
- 44:14I just think they're not deep enough to, to, to catch
- 44:18Cleveland. And then the Tigers really have
- 44:21to just Rea all over themselves to to not make a spot of.
- 44:25The. Yeah, I think the Royals really
- 44:28miss Reagan's this year. I think that's probably the
- 44:31biggest thing that's called sex. We'll visit some more baseball
- 44:34stories next week, though. Doesn't he look like Dracula
- 44:37side baseball all? Right, ladies and gentlemen, we
- 44:41have one more segment of the night.
- 44:42No book goodies, bag of balls. And Speedy, are you packing any
- 44:45balls tonight? Not that I know of.
- 44:47So you have no balls, not. That I know of.
- 44:49No testes. What?
- 44:51You said you had balls, right? I have some, I don't know if I'm
- 44:55packing them. No, if you're not packing them,
- 44:57then where are they? Where would they be?
- 45:00Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They're not being moved.
- 45:03Well, then they're on you, right?
- 45:04They're attached, so they're a. Part of you.
- 45:07There you go where that's what we're talking about Speaking of
- 45:11dis attached to most of the things that come out of this
- 45:14kids mouth, mouth or math. We call this analytics ladies
- 45:19and. Gentlemen.
- 45:20And now analytics. I want everybody together to go
- 45:26ahead and say penis, penis, penis, vagina, vagina, vagina
- 45:30man. Welcome back everybody to yet
- 45:37another that's episode of Anal Lytics Equality Educational
- 45:42Experience. If you are new to the show or
- 45:46you haven't stuck around to the end and you are lucky enough to
- 45:50be still on the air right now, this is a game show between
- 45:53Errol and Speedy. The way this one works, there's
- 45:56a mystery term that both of them will have to solve.
- 45:58They will have up to three clues to solve it and whoever gets it
- 46:01right and the fewest amount of clues is the winner.
- 46:05This week there is a catch. They have a tiebreaker.
- 46:08They have to use it in a sentence correctly.
- 46:11If they both get in the same amount of clues, whoever had the
- 46:13best sentence is the winner. There's a catch to all of this,
- 46:17though, because Speedy is our guru of sports analytics.
- 46:21He will ask Errol, who's more of an eye test man, a
- 46:24traditionalist, a sports analytical term to have to
- 46:28solve. On the other hand, we can't ask
- 46:30Speedy those questions. We have to ask him something
- 46:32that he will equally not know. Well.
- 46:35Those are going to be sexual innuendos.
- 46:38Errol has been stumping Speedy with these, but it feels like
- 46:42the greater part of the 21st century.
- 46:46I think Speedy's got one. Right, one or two.
- 46:50I've won, I've won I think 3 but I the one of them was just
- 46:54because I used something with Halle Berry and Errol liked it
- 46:57at the sentence or something. Yeah.
- 47:00I think like you won two and I think or like you got two of
- 47:04them, right, but you've won three.
- 47:06Yeah, that. Sounds.
- 47:06Yeah, I. Think let's get the music on
- 47:09right now and let's get the big reveal Speedy for your
- 47:14analytical term of the evening all.
- 47:17Right, so this week we're doing football.
- 47:18It is. Pepa.
- 47:20Peppa Pepa. The Peppa.
- 47:24PEP. A.
- 47:40Position. Nope.
- 47:46Well, that's wrong right off the bat.
- 47:47So that was the wild guess Rounds.
- 47:49It's now time for the big reveal.
- 47:52We all are always holding our breath on this one in more ways
- 47:55than one. Errol, the music is on.
- 47:57All right, Speedy, you ready for this?
- 47:59All right, I had better get this one so I could use Nathan in a
- 48:02sentence. The Angry Dragon.
- 48:08Oh boy. Oh no, this one.
- 48:10Kind of a classic one. Yep, all.
- 48:12Right, so obviously the Dragons breathe fire.
- 48:16So somebody is so a guy. Is on the right path.
- 48:20Passing heat while like exhaling like big breath while making out
- 48:29with a woman. I thought he was going to use
- 48:36the. I thought he was going to keep
- 48:37going with where the fire was coming from.
- 48:39Well, I mean it's a wild guess and you know what it's really
- 48:43about an A for effort in this round E boys definitely got
- 48:46that, but now it's time to flip the script.
- 48:49Let's get some clues in here. The music's back on Speedy for.
- 48:53Pepa All right, so, so the first P is what you would consider a a
- 48:58result in your favor is you would think of it as a blank for
- 49:02you. The E is a word for something
- 49:06that is supposed to happen and then the a.
- 49:13The the other P is just simply something you score.
- 49:17The a is a math term. Yeah, I I had to look this one.
- 49:25I wasn't even close. I'm I'm not even sure on this
- 49:30one. I know at least the first half
- 49:32of it though. Say that one more time.
- 49:35All right, so the first P if if a result goes in your favor,
- 49:38it's considered a blank outcome for you.
- 49:42Positive. Yep.
- 49:44So E is something that's supposed to happen.
- 49:47Another word for that. Spell positive.
- 49:51So I've never heard it like just P, I've always heard it as EPA.
- 49:55Yes, this one's actually specifically for defensive
- 49:58players. And E is what?
- 50:00What is it? Something another a word for
- 50:03something that's supposed to happen with an E.
- 50:07Yeah, I have no idea. I don't know.
- 50:15All right, see. All right.
- 50:18Let's move on back the other way.
- 50:21Let's get the music on. Errol Speedy needs some clues on
- 50:25the Angry Dragon. Blowing a load on something.
- 50:34OK, so the heat. You say on or in.
- 50:38On in get the load on. So so the heat is coming from
- 50:44what you claimed, what Brittany claimed had something smelled of
- 50:48yours that. I don't think that's not true.
- 50:50I don't think Speedy can imagine doing this, so he's not going to
- 50:54get this one tonight. So all right, so the heat, let's
- 50:57say is coming from your ass after eating too much spicy
- 51:01food. Now the question is where is it
- 51:03going into is another question. That's a good question.
- 51:06Where is it going into SO? Where?
- 51:09Lots of lots of spicy food coming out of a guy's ass into.
- 51:18I feel like it has to be into the mouth because it's a dragon.
- 51:24You're in the right direction. I like it.
- 51:29It's in the right direction. What's going in that direction
- 51:32is not correct. But we are getting closer Round
- 51:36one of clues is done. Moving on to two Speedy give him
- 51:41another clue for. Pepa all right, so we'll go back
- 51:44to the EA little bit later. We'll go to we'll go to P you.
- 51:47In any sport, your goal is to score.
- 51:50What? Score.
- 52:00You try to have the most. Points.
- 52:07Yeah. And then a a general math term
- 52:12if you just if you do a equation basically.
- 52:19Old trap, speedy. Yeah, added.
- 52:22I'll give that to you. Added.
- 52:24Addition OK. So.
- 52:26Just say plus sign. Yeah, OK.
- 52:29Plus sign. All right.
- 52:30And then E so again, something the previous clue was something
- 52:35that is supposed to happen if you if you call somebody, you
- 52:39predict something you could have said like I did this, I blanked.
- 52:44That's a good. That's a really good clue,
- 52:46Speedy. All right, Errol.
- 52:51I don't know. Charles Dickens had a book about
- 52:54it. And you think I know what,
- 52:56Charles Dixon? They were great.
- 52:58I know it was the best of times. It was the worst of times.
- 53:03I couldn't even pronounce his name.
- 53:05You want me to remember Charles Dixon, Pip?
- 53:08No, I don't know. Come on, little Pip.
- 53:09No, no, no. I didn't think you're going to
- 53:12get it from that clue. All right, We got that as a
- 53:16wrong answer. Your arrow is very close though,
- 53:18Speedy. You're going to have to get a
- 53:20lot closer than just the direction of the orifice that
- 53:24somebody's going into. Are we going to have to rename
- 53:26this segment Analyturitics at this rate?
- 53:31I guess so. We'll see.
- 53:33All right. The music's on Arrow.
- 53:36He needs another clue. All right.
- 53:38Angry. So after you drop a load in this
- 53:46specific place, you smack that person and it comes out of
- 53:53something. Oh, wow.
- 53:56OK. All right, so you're.
- 54:00You just basically gave him the whole thing.
- 54:01I know so. You're.
- 54:03Past and he said he said where it came out of too.
- 54:06Yes, he doesn't. I don't think he understands the
- 54:08term load Errol. Don't say anything.
- 54:12OK, so I'm not. Talking.
- 54:15Laundry here, yeah, maybe it's not the maybe it's not the
- 54:18actual air coming out. Maybe it's the gross crap coming
- 54:21out. Hey now.
- 54:24So then, hey now, it goes into the woman's mouth and then a
- 54:31slapping motion. Where did that come from?
- 54:35Think about what a dragon does. And where where it comes out of.
- 54:40So it flies, it attacks, and it breathes fire, and it breathes
- 54:44fire. OK, well, now we're cooking.
- 54:47So then the the gross bodily pus, whatever's coming out is
- 54:58being smacked is what's throwing me.
- 55:03Like I I guess it's being like thwarted down.
- 55:10Errol, what are you talking about?
- 55:12ESPN would love this bit. What are you talking about?
- 55:16It's like AI don't like a launching motion.
- 55:18Like I feel like a dragon coming down.
- 55:22While playing it like launching, All right, Speedy, we're going
- 55:25to need you to tie it up a little bit.
- 55:26We got, we got to move. So the the gross crap, the load,
- 55:31whatever. After it goes into the woman's
- 55:34mouth, then the guy, then the guy comes down on her and smacks
- 55:45her. I don't know.
- 55:45I don't know where the smack, the smacking is, what's throwing
- 55:48me. Well, Akon said smack that all
- 55:52on the floor, but for now the answer is wrong.
- 55:56We will move on to the last round of clues.
- 56:01Arrow is almost there. Speedy final clue for PEPA.
- 56:05Yeah. So again, something that if you
- 56:07predict it happens and you could say like I blanked it to happen
- 56:15what Fish was describing before. So A-Team could have very high
- 56:19or low, like it's another term for potential like somebody,
- 56:24somebody like like in football, the Eagles winning the Super
- 56:28Bowl are going to have big. And it's another term like Fish
- 56:32was describing before that starts with E.
- 56:36Big. When a woman is pregnant, she
- 56:41is. Exposed.
- 56:50Not the weird shit you watch. I'm talking about like a regular
- 56:54thing. And by the way, I did get a we
- 56:56did get a comment earlier tonight from that.
- 56:59I think we need to put up there. We got you proven wrong right
- 57:03off the bat. Sometimes they do the farts,
- 57:06they do smell. Yeah, right.
- 57:08I don't know. She's lying.
- 57:14I don't. Know you can do this.
- 57:16Say it one more one. More pregnant woman, it said.
- 57:19She is something ING ING. Expecting.
- 57:28Yeah, here it is. Put it together, Put it all
- 57:31together. Positive.
- 57:33Expecting. What was the other one?
- 57:36You score the most. Points and then the math plus
- 57:41sign plus equal positive addition add add.
- 57:46So yeah, it's positive, Expected points added.
- 57:51There it is, and that is correct arrow marks.
- 57:57You know what you have to do now though?
- 57:59You got to use it correctly in a sentence.
- 58:02Let's use the the future legend himself, Justin Fields, in this
- 58:06one. I'm sorry, defensive player.
- 58:08So let's go your favorite. He said he added 15 lbs of
- 58:10muscle. Will McDonald tell me about his
- 58:14pepper? Will McDonald last year amongst
- 58:19rookies Amongst rookies, he. Came from Iowa State, so he
- 58:24might. Have had a farm had one of the
- 58:26best positive expecting what was it points.
- 58:34Just say PEPAP. P have one of the best PP As for
- 58:39all the amongst all the rookies, so there you.
- 58:44Go. All right, I don't know if he
- 58:45was among the best, but that is a.
- 58:46Good sentence amongst the best rookie.
- 58:50I would say that's a pretty strong sentence, Speedy.
- 58:54You're, you're not there yet. I'd say, you know, like Bon Jovi
- 58:57would say you were halfway there, but you're also right now
- 59:00living on a prayer. You got to put the music back on
- 59:03one last time. Error.
- 59:04Left by that reference. OK for the angry dragon.
- 59:08So when the man I'm giving you the hint is dropping the load
- 59:14somewhere, he smacks somewhere on the body and it comes out
- 59:24somewhere on the face, OK. Like a dragon.
- 59:31And then she falls down but gets back up and does something.
- 59:37OK, so the gross load crap goes into the woman's mouth, the guy
- 59:44then slaps her and then the the pus comes out.
- 59:49OK of where? Of her mouth.
- 59:51OK. And then they both do intimate
- 59:56things on that gross crap. But but wait a wait a second, I
- 1:00:03said. She gets up and she she does
- 1:00:07something like a drag. Drag drags the guy down.
- 1:00:10Oh. She breathes it back in him.
- 1:00:15Where is it? Where does a dragon breathes
- 1:00:17from? His mouth.
- 1:00:19No. Where do you breathe from?
- 1:00:26Your mouth. You breathe fire.
- 1:00:31Your nose, speedy. You breathe from your nose,
- 1:00:36right? There it's like.
- 1:00:40What I don't know what I don't know what that's called sexology
- 1:00:43you're reading, you're seeing that's.
- 1:00:45That's called sex. The fire comes out of the
