- 0:01Speaker 1: He's more Mark.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It's the Marximone Show on seven tenor.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Woll Hey loves to get too. If you're interested in
- 0:11Speaker 1: plastic surgery, be listening. Later in this hour, we'll get
- 0:14Speaker 1: to the Meyrill Race. We'll get back to that and
- 0:17Speaker 1: a whole lot more. You know, the sombrero videos are
- 0:23Speaker 1: the best part of the shutdown. Don't worry about a shutdown.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We have a government shutdown every couple of years. Happens
- 0:29Speaker 1: all the time. You've been through a dozen of them.
- 0:30Speaker 1: You don't even remember any of them. Remember twenty eighteen, No,
- 0:36Speaker 1: that was the longest one ever, thirty five days. That
- 0:39Speaker 1: was during Trump's first term. So you'll get through this
- 0:42Speaker 1: just fine. But the best part was the It started
- 0:45Speaker 1: with Hakeem Jeffries, who's this pompous, way too serious, humorless
- 0:49Speaker 1: guy who stands up there and says everybody's gonna die. Well,
- 0:52Speaker 1: they made a video with him with a sombrero on
- 0:56Speaker 1: and a Mexican looking mustache and this great music. I
- 1:00Speaker 1: love this music. But you got to go watch them.
- 1:02Speaker 1: They're hysterical to look at. They're very very Wait a minute,
- 1:08Speaker 1: how do I stop this thing? I'm playing it on
- 1:11Speaker 1: my phone. I can't stop it, but go watch them.
- 1:15Speaker 1: They're up on my Twitter. The sombrero videos of Hakim Jeffreys,
- 1:19Speaker 1: of Schumer, there's one of every Democrat. They're hysterical. Now
- 1:23Speaker 1: then these pompous, humorless democrats are all over MSNBC and
- 1:28Speaker 1: everywhere going it's this bigoted, the bigotry of these videos.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It's racist, it's bigotry. It's this, it's a he copied
- 1:35Speaker 1: it from you, guys. You guys did it to him.
- 1:38Speaker 1: He copied it from you. Do you remember there was
- 1:40Speaker 1: a they tried this for two seconds, Taco Trump. What
- 1:44Speaker 1: did taco stand for? Trump? Always chickens out, But they
- 1:47Speaker 1: kept calling him Taco Trump. And they put out millions
- 1:51Speaker 1: of videos of him with a sombrero, him with the mustache,
- 1:53Speaker 1: him with the Mexican music, and him on a taco truck.
- 1:58Speaker 1: It was Taco Trump. There were millions and millions of videos.
- 2:01Speaker 1: That's where he got the idea. He's using your technique.
- 2:05Speaker 1: So if it's just disgusting and bigoted, you guys are
- 2:10Speaker 1: the ones that invented it, so blame yourselves. In Chicago
- 2:14Speaker 1: right now, there's big protesting at an ice facility. Crazy
- 2:18Speaker 1: left wing Democrats protesting Ice. It's pretty funny if you
- 2:24Speaker 1: think about it, these left wing, these Democrats yelling at
- 2:28Speaker 1: the Ice Curt, what are you doing enforcing the law?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Cut that out, Stop enforcing the law. It's just getting
- 2:35Speaker 1: more and more ridiculous, which is great. As you head
- 2:37Speaker 1: to the midterm elections, Democrats will wipe themselves out. Traditionally,
- 2:42Speaker 1: a new president loses the Congress in a mid term
- 2:46Speaker 1: two years in. There are exceptions. This will probably be one.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Democrats going so far to the left they'll never find
- 2:54Speaker 1: their way back to the middle and sanity. You know,
- 2:57Speaker 1: we're talking about the mayoral race last hour. Here's there's
- 3:00Speaker 1: problem with Cuomo. Here's this big problem besides the fact
- 3:03Speaker 1: everybody hates him. He's creepy, and besides the fact that
- 3:06Speaker 1: he's made so many enemies. You know, you notice he's
- 3:09Speaker 1: got these endorsements the union, electrical workers Union, the plumbers union.
- 3:14Speaker 1: What the hell do I care what the plumbers union thinks.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I mean, if I need my sink fixed, I care
- 3:19Speaker 1: what they think. But the political situation, I don't go
- 3:22Speaker 1: to the plumbers union anytime I'm trying to decide a
- 3:25Speaker 1: political issue. I don't call my electrician. I don't call
- 3:28Speaker 1: the plumber and ask him about so who cares what
- 3:30Speaker 1: these unions do. The big endorsements would come from big leaders,
- 3:37Speaker 1: especially in all Beney and all that, but they all
- 3:39Speaker 1: hated him. Cuomo threatened everybody who was the biggest bully there.
- 3:42Speaker 1: So the problem is he's running against this very left
- 3:45Speaker 1: wing socialist Kami mam Dami or is Al Sharpton called
- 3:49Speaker 1: him Mam Dammy Mamdanni. And Cuomo is now running as
- 3:54Speaker 1: the centrist, old fashioned, middle of the road Democrat, which
- 3:58Speaker 1: is a total lie. He's putting on this act and
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's killing him with Democrats as the problem is, he
- 4:04Speaker 1: looks old. He's got that same shirt that Fredo wore
- 4:07Speaker 1: in The Godfather in Cuba, and he just looks old
- 4:11Speaker 1: and tired, like an old dinosaur. And if he just
- 4:15Speaker 1: ran as himself, he's more to the left than Mam Donnie.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Nobody's done more left wing crazy things in office than Cuomo.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Cuomo's the guy that gave us no bail, no jail.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Culoma was the guy that literally just closed the prisons
- 4:29Speaker 1: and let the prisoners out. If he would just do
- 4:32Speaker 1: that stuff, he could capture these young Mam Damie voters.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You know, that would be the campaign that would win
- 4:40Speaker 1: if he actually tried that, if he just went to
- 4:41Speaker 1: them and said, you know he's talking about it, I've
- 4:44Speaker 1: actually done it, I can get it done. I'm the
- 4:46Speaker 1: only one that's actually let prisoners out. I'm the only
- 4:49Speaker 1: one that's defund I've actually defunded the cops. It'd be
- 4:53Speaker 1: a campaign that would win these crazy left wing and
- 4:56Speaker 1: he's afraid to do that for all kinds of reasons.
- 4:58Speaker 1: But listen, this is actual Cuomo video from back then
- 5:02Speaker 1: when he was the most radical governor ever. Listened to
- 5:04Speaker 1: this video. If he ran this in a campaign ad,
- 5:09Speaker 1: he could win those young social assistant to Cuomo as governor.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The crazy things he did. Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 5:17Speaker 1: where it's the sound here?
- 5:18Speaker 2: It is this bail system once in for all.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Wait, hang on, hang on, I'll get it.
- 5:24Speaker 2: That's whether you're rich or poor. We're gonna on the
- 5:27Speaker 2: cash bail system once in for all. We're going to
- 5:30Speaker 2: do it in New York, and we're going to do
- 5:33Speaker 2: it this year. We have to have moral alternatives to incarceration,
- 5:41Speaker 2: strict timelines on court dates, and we have to eliminate
- 5:45Speaker 2: the racial bias that is pervasive in our criminal justice system.
- 5:51Speaker 2: As governor of the State of New York, I can't
- 5:54Speaker 2: tell you how proud I am to have closed more
- 5:58Speaker 2: prisons than any governor in the history of the state.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And I'm not done yet.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Now, this is a radical, radical, left wing, far left guy.
- 6:11Speaker 1: If he would just go back to being himself, run
- 6:13Speaker 1: that video, run it as your campaign had, you'll steal
- 6:16Speaker 1: votes from Mom Donnie. That's how you could really stop
- 6:20Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. If Cuomo ran as himself that very very
- 6:25Speaker 1: very radical left wing governor that he was, he and
- 6:28Speaker 1: Mom Donnie would split up that radical vote and then
- 6:31Speaker 1: be easy for Curtis to walk right in. Curtis is
- 6:35Speaker 1: finally running a lot of ads, and he's finally hitting
- 6:38Speaker 1: Cuomo with the nursing home stuff, and it's all leading
- 6:42Speaker 1: up to the debate. October sixteenth is the big debate.
- 6:46Speaker 1: October sixteenth, it'll be on Channel four. There's a second
- 6:52Speaker 1: debate six days later that's on New York One. Nobody
- 6:55Speaker 1: really sees New York One, and it's not that anybody
- 6:57Speaker 1: watches Channel four. It's not a big audience, but it
- 6:59Speaker 1: goes all over the internet. It goes viral. So if
- 7:02Speaker 1: something big happens in that debate October sixteenth, that's where
- 7:05Speaker 1: the race could change. That could be the turning point.
- 7:09Speaker 1: If there's going to be a turning point. And again
- 7:11Speaker 1: I keep repeating this. The other thing is turnout. If
- 7:14Speaker 1: we get what we'll be getting the last three or
- 7:16Speaker 1: four elections, no turnout eighteen percent, turnout twenty percent. That's
- 7:21Speaker 1: where the radical left wing can win because they'll always
- 7:24Speaker 1: turn out. If you go back to the old days
- 7:26Speaker 1: of seventy five eighty five percent turnout, that's where Mom
- 7:29Speaker 1: Donnie loses because all the normal people come out. It's
- 7:33Speaker 1: all about turnout. Taylor Swift album dropped last night at midnight. Now,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you know it's tough nowadays you don't make You know,
- 7:41Speaker 1: in the old days of phonograph albums, what did they cost?
- 7:45Speaker 1: I don't even remember. But you know, people buy the
- 7:48Speaker 1: album or the CD. You know, they go buy your CD.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It's twenty dollars. So there's twenty dollars every sale. You know.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Now it's downloading, you're lucky if you get thirty cents.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It's all down loading or streaming. It's mostly streaming, so
- 8:03Speaker 1: you don't get the money anyway. Now you've got to
- 8:04Speaker 1: make all your money now by doing a concert tour.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Taylor Swift is the king of concert tours. I don't
- 8:10Speaker 1: think anybody's ever made more money on tour. She's become
- 8:14Speaker 1: a billionaire doing that. But very smart marketing, very smart
- 8:18Speaker 1: business person. So what she's done. As soon as the
- 8:21Speaker 1: album drops, the merchandising drops with it. So yeah, you
- 8:24Speaker 1: can just stream the songs and pay three cents or whatever.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But everything is being sold right now, and we don't
- 8:31Speaker 1: have any numbers yet, but she's been selling shirts, sweaters, gloves, hats, everything,
- 8:37Speaker 1: Taylor Swift everything with the new album logo on it.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Very very smart. You know, when you're somebody like Taylor
- 8:43Speaker 1: Swift and you play Madison Square Garden. Actually she's too
- 8:46Speaker 1: big now. She plays stadiums, but a lot of big.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Let's say you're playing Madison Square Garden, big, big, big, superstit.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You get two and a half million, three million for
- 8:59Speaker 1: the concert, But the merchandising, you know, she'll actually make
- 9:03Speaker 1: five or six hundred thousand dollars in the lobby before
- 9:06Speaker 1: anybody even walks in. Five or six hundred thousand just
- 9:09Speaker 1: on merchandise, just on just on the T shirt sales,
- 9:14Speaker 1: all that kind of stuff. It's become an amazing, amazing business.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So what else the Yankees Tomorrow night, that's gonna be. Uh,
- 9:23Speaker 1: that's gonna be the big, big first game of the
- 9:26Speaker 1: series tomorrow night. It's actually it's four o'clock tomorrow afternoon,
- 9:29Speaker 1: four o'clock. Hey, we were talking last hour about TikTok.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Will it become safe? Will your data no longer be
- 9:34Speaker 1: in the hands of the communist Chinese? Well, it will
- 9:37Speaker 1: now be controlled by a US led group. And exactly
- 9:42Speaker 1: who is that? It's Oracle, So that's Larry Ellison. I'm
- 9:46Speaker 1: gonna sneeze in a bit. Wait a minute, Oracle company
- 9:51Speaker 1: called Silver Lake and then Dreasen Horowitz and Dreasen Horrowitz.
- 9:57Speaker 1: What a name. But they'll control it. Under the TikTok
- 10:01Speaker 1: divestment law passed by Congress, Chinese ownership cannot exceed twenty percent,
- 10:06Speaker 1: so will be in the hands of American tech companies
- 10:13Speaker 1: KKR that's Henry Cravis and Company General Atlantic. This is
- 10:18Speaker 1: a tough choice. Who would you trust with all your data?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Communist Chinese or Silicon Valley. I don't know, so I
- 10:26Speaker 1: gotta have to think about that one for a while. Hey,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it's autumn. It's officially fall now. Of course you all
- 10:33Speaker 1: the jokes about this pumpkin spice coffee and pumpkin spice,
- 10:36Speaker 1: this and that, but it's worse than that. For instance,
- 10:39Speaker 1: Trader Joe's has this is a big thing with them
- 10:43Speaker 1: every autumn, the Trader Joe's Autumn menu. People go crazy
- 10:47Speaker 1: for this stuff. The biggest winner this season Trader Joe's
- 10:51Speaker 1: butternut squash mac and cheese. I don't know, but these
- 10:56Speaker 1: are these traders. It's like a cult, this Trader Joe's.
- 11:00Speaker 1: They're very proud of that. The canvas Trader Joe's bag
- 11:03Speaker 1: very very cultish. The other one is a butternut squashed lasagna.
- 11:08Speaker 1: That doesn't sound good either. Another big cellar that cocoa
- 11:12Speaker 1: truffles with maple syrup sounds even worse. Autumn harvest pasta sauce. Again,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you got to be a cult member there in the
- 11:21Speaker 1: Trader Joe's cult. Maple ice cream sandwiches, eh, salted maple
- 11:26Speaker 1: cold foam creamer. Again, none of this sounds good. Maple
- 11:30Speaker 1: spice nut mix, maple and sea salt, cattle corn, but
- 11:34Speaker 1: this is very very, very big with the Trader Trader
- 11:38Speaker 1: Joe's crowd. Costco same thing. They all go crazy about
- 11:43Speaker 1: certain things there, but they're bringing back some of the
- 11:45Speaker 1: fan favorites. Costco. You know their store brand is Kirkland.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Kirkland is the town they come from. Costco the signature
- 11:55Speaker 1: butter cinnamon sugar loaf, which comes in ghosts. But apparently
- 12:00Speaker 1: people go crazy for this. It's the most addictive thing
- 12:03Speaker 1: in the world, butter cinnamon sugar loaf, and whenever it
- 12:07Speaker 1: shows up on the shelves, people just line up for it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's only nine to ninety nine. It's they point out,
- 12:16Speaker 1: it's not the healthiest thing in the world. Nearly a
- 12:18Speaker 1: full stick of butter is baked into each loaf. In fact,
- 12:22Speaker 1: another woman on Instagram showed the loaf rolled around in
- 12:25Speaker 1: melted buttered that's how you get the coating to stick.
- 12:28Speaker 1: One serving is four hundred and ten calories thirty three
- 12:31Speaker 1: grams of sugar. That's a lot. That's a lot. It's
- 12:34Speaker 1: not the healthiest thing for you, but nobody has. They
- 12:38Speaker 1: do have great food. You got to give it to
- 12:40Speaker 1: a Trader Joe, not Trader Joe's, but Costco. Trader Joe's
- 12:43Speaker 1: I gotta live one out. Hey, Harvard, Now this is
- 12:46Speaker 1: an interesting story. President Trump has been all over Harvard
- 12:50Speaker 1: and he's now got them caving in left and right.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Harvard has agreed to pay five hundred million. And what
- 12:58Speaker 1: they're going to do, they're going to operate a network,
- 13:01Speaker 1: a nationwide network of trade schools. Now, you know, one
- 13:03Speaker 1: of our great sponsors is Lincoln Tech. When it comes
- 13:07Speaker 1: to these trade schools, they're a great thing for many
- 13:10Speaker 1: many kids. This is the answer trade school. Nobody better
- 13:15Speaker 1: than Lincoln Tech. But Harvard is now being forced to
- 13:19Speaker 1: get into the game. And President Trump has said over
- 13:23Speaker 1: and over this, it's so important to have these trade schools.
- 13:26Speaker 1: There's a lot of kids that they don't need to
- 13:28Speaker 1: be lawyers or doctors. They want to be plumbers, they
- 13:30Speaker 1: want to be a h fact, they want to be
- 13:32Speaker 1: in various industries. You go to this tech school, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 1: you immediately got a career. You graduate Harvard with your
- 13:39Speaker 1: degree in liberal arts, you end up living in your parents'
- 13:42Speaker 1: house for ten years. But President Trump said, we used
- 13:45Speaker 1: to have a lot of trade schools in this country.
- 13:48Speaker 1: We don't anymore, and we need them back. So part
- 13:51Speaker 1: of the settlement with Harvard. They're going to spend five
- 13:54Speaker 1: hundred million open a network of trade schools focus on
- 13:58Speaker 1: artificial intelligence, engineering, and other technical skills. Well, see, there
- 14:04Speaker 1: you go, Harvard trying to catch up with Lincoln Tech.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Pretty good. Hey, we'll take some calls in a moment.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
