- 0:00Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:41Hi, it's Adam here. And in today's episode of The
- 0:44Hypnotist, you can be listening to a hypnosis session built
- 0:49around the core of authenticity. And I was working with a client
- 0:54that felt incredibly relaxed against old.
- 0:59Or with. Old childhood friends.
- 1:01They felt in their company they could really be themselves.
- 1:04No mask, no pretense, they could just really be who they wanted
- 1:08to be. But they found themselves in
- 1:11certain situations feeling that they had to play a role, to not
- 1:16really be who they were and to hold something back.
- 1:21And what this session is all about is giving themself
- 1:25permission to be very authentic, very confident and unapologetic
- 1:33in who they are. And they found it almost
- 1:38challenging to see other people really connecting to an identity
- 1:44or a role and really owning that and defending that.
- 1:48And they felt that they couldn't do it to the same level.
- 1:51So what you're going to hear is this idea that if it's good for
- 1:53the goose, it's good for the gander, that if they're willing
- 1:56to respect other people's, you know, desire to be who they are,
- 2:02then. Surely.
- 2:04That gives them absolute permission to really be who they
- 2:07are, and that's really what this session is all about.
- 2:10Also, they felt a little bit of unease in certain situations.
- 2:14They wanted to lean into this more maverick, adventurous side
- 2:19of their personality. So this idea that doing what
- 2:23you've already done is definitely not an adventure, and
- 2:26this element of playing it safe is definitely not an adventure.
- 2:30So therefore things that are new or involve risk are by design
- 2:35more adventurous. They're more pioneering.
- 2:37They're outside the comfort zone.
- 2:40So if you like the idea of being more yourself, being really
- 2:44authentically you, giving yourself permission to just live
- 2:47life on your terms and to have more adventure, have more
- 2:52courage and take more risks, then I think you'll get value
- 2:55from this session. Of course, it was created for an
- 2:57individual person. It happened to be a man that I
- 3:00was working with. Some of the suggestions might be
- 3:02right for that client and totally not right for you.
- 3:05So take what is relevant, ignore what isn't.
- 3:08And if you do like the idea of some kind of customized,
- 3:12calibrated session just for you, then there will be a link in the
- 3:16show notes where you can schedule a free consultation
- 3:18call to explore working with me. For now though, find a quiet,
- 3:21comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 3:23Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 4:05you breathe in, feel like you're breathing in a concentrated form
- 4:13of pure relaxation. Breathing in that relaxation,
- 4:21and as you exhale, imagine exhaling the opposite, which
- 4:30could be tension or stress or even trepidation.
- 4:37Feel that you're breathing in what you need and exhaling what
- 4:46you don't. And I want you to scan your body
- 4:52for any clues of tension, but also clues of anxiety or
- 5:00anticipation. And normally that anxiety or
- 5:06anticipation or trepidation is lurking somewhere in the gut or
- 5:14near the solar plexus. But as you breathe in that
- 5:19distilled, concentrated, pure form of relaxation, imagine it
- 5:29seeking out and dissolving, diluting or just releasing any
- 5:36feelings of anxiety. And then imagine that displaced
- 5:43anxiety leaving your body in your outward breath.
- 5:52You're breathing in relaxation, exhaling tension and feeling
- 5:57like you're drifting off deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 6:11The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
- 6:15And the more relaxed you become, the deeper and more effortless
- 6:21you breathe. And notice that you can settle
- 6:26into a place of deep relaxation. Feel yourself becoming more and
- 6:35more at ease, almost like you're sinking comfortably into this
- 6:43moment. As your body relaxes, your
- 6:52imagination awakens. And I want you to imagine.
- 6:59Imagine a feeling of positive nostalgia taking you back to a
- 7:08moment. A moment with friends in a
- 7:15particular coffee shop, almost like you're going back in time
- 7:22to a moment feeling like you're in your own body, in that place.
- 7:30And maybe you can recall where you were sitting, what you were
- 7:35wearing, but more importantly, how you were feeling.
- 7:42Maybe there's other people around and you can hear that
- 7:45gentle harm of conversation, the soft clinking of cups or maybe
- 7:57the smell of coffee or even pastries filling the air.
- 8:06I want you to connect without feeling of comfort.
- 8:09You feel comfortable here. Maybe that's connected to a
- 8:15feeling of warmth, relaxation, or even joy.
- 8:28You feel at ease. You feel it's safe to be
- 8:33yourself, entirely, completely, authentically you, and maybe you
- 8:46can see the faces of familiar friends.
- 8:54As you see their faces, notice how relaxed you feel, how easy
- 9:00it is to smile, to talk, how laughter begins to flow
- 9:06effortlessly. Not those kind of fake laughs
- 9:11you hear in polite conversation. Real laughter, real joy, real
- 9:18smiles, where conversations spark and dance, and with every
- 9:24word you are reminded of how good it feels to just be
- 9:30yourself. No masks, no rules, no need to
- 9:39be anything other than who you are.
- 9:44Completely and unapologetically authentic.
- 9:56And as you continue to enjoy this moment, you begin to notice
- 10:02something interesting, like time is beginning to bend and shift.
- 10:09Minutes stretch into hours, yet it all feels like one wonderful,
- 10:16seamless moment where the outside world fades away and all
- 10:23that exists is this deep sense of connection, laughter, and
- 10:31freedom. And that sensation of being so
- 10:38engaged, so in flow with the moment is the same feeling you
- 10:46can carry with you in other areas of your life.
- 10:53That sense of ease, of joy, of freedom to simply be.
- 11:01That is the truth of who you are, not of who you're trying to
- 11:09pretend to be, but who you are at your core.
- 11:20And as you bask in that memory, let a thought begin to grow in
- 11:24your mind like a seed planted in fertile soil.
- 11:30What if life itself was like this?
- 11:35What if every new experience, every new place, every adventure
- 11:40was just another table in a coffee shop waiting for you to
- 11:44sit down and embrace it fully? That adventure isn't something
- 11:52to fear. Outside of your comfort zone is
- 11:57the place where you thrive. The place where you unlock a new
- 12:03level of confidence and self belief.
- 12:08And every time you step outside of your comfort zone, you are
- 12:14stepping into a space where you can be even more of yourself.
- 12:22And that is exciting, that is invigorating, that feels
- 12:32empowering. And just as you respect the
- 12:41right of others to live as they choose, you now ground yourself
- 12:47the same freedom. You no longer seek permission to
- 12:53be yourself in certain situations, in certain
- 12:58combinations of people. You are giving permission to
- 13:04yourself that you are enough. You are strong.
- 13:14You are a maverick spirit ready to explore the world on your own
- 13:20terms, and as you take another deep breath in, feel this new
- 13:30belief locking into place. From this moment forward, you
- 13:38choose wonderful positive anticipation over anxiety.
- 13:47Anxiety is thinking of undesirable things happening in
- 13:52the future. Perhaps optimism?
- 13:57Or positive anticipation. Is just having a sense that good
- 14:00things will happen in your future.
- 14:07You are embracing optimism over hesitation, empowerment over
- 14:14fear. The unknown no longer feels
- 14:19intimidating, it feels the most desirable place for you.
- 14:29It feels like an open Rd. an invitation to become even more
- 14:36of who you are always meant to be.
- 14:39Because you are a pioneer, a trailblazer, and when you travel
- 14:49you will find that your true self shines brighter than ever,
- 14:57especially to places you've never been before.
- 14:59Because nobody holds any preconceived ideas of who you
- 15:04are. So you really get to be you and
- 15:10notice the reaction. The more or authentic you are,
- 15:17the more comfortable you feel. And the more comfortable you
- 15:21feel, the easier it becomes to connect with others.
- 15:29New places and new people will be a catalyst for new
- 15:33confidence, and new experiences will be reminders that you are
- 15:42limitless as you feel a desire to lean into your authenticity,
- 15:52knowing that what others think does not define you, it defines
- 15:59them. Only you can define you.
- 16:14I want you to imagine shifting from the past and now gazing
- 16:19into your future, almost like you're seeing yourself.
- 16:24Like you're a character in a book or an actor in a movie, but
- 16:29see the future of you being unapologetically authentic.
- 16:38Still respectful, but authentic. And think of a specific context,
- 16:48environment or occasion that you know is coming up for you
- 16:53anyway. But this time see yourself being
- 17:03the most authentic version of you.
- 17:11Notice how you talk, how relaxed you look, your facial
- 17:16expression. I want you to get a sense that
- 17:25you can be you 100% and the more you observe
- 17:40yourself, the more you feel you are priming yourself to be this
- 17:45person in that context. And if you choose to, you could
- 17:57imagine stepping into that thought and feeling that.
- 18:09Being that, now it's time to return to the present.
- 18:16But taking all of these feelings back with you and the version of
- 18:22you returns is the most authentic version of you.
- 18:30So take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 18:35nose. Wiggle your fingers and wiggle
- 18:39your toes. Start to calibrate with the here
- 18:41and the now, not the. Past.
- 18:43Not the future, but right here in the present as I count from
- 18:471:00 to 10:00 to awaken you. Starting to count 123 Waking up
- 18:55456. More alert 7-8.
- 18:59Open your eyes. Open your eyes, 910.
- 19:02Wide awake. Wide awake.
- 19:05Wind awake. Thank you for listening to The
