- 0:01Speaker 1: Hold Up, hold On, and gall Alert Battle. Welcome to
- 0:14Speaker 1: the Ball Alert Show. Podcasts available everywhere you get your podcast.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I go by the name of Ferrari Simmons. I go
- 0:19Speaker 1: by the name of you know b T one time
- 0:22Speaker 1: for the Grammys Win Experience. I actually watched it and
- 0:26Speaker 1: I taped it so I can watch it again. So
- 0:28Speaker 1: I watched it three times. It was the best Grammys
- 0:30Speaker 1: ever in my opinion, I like watching the Grammys because
- 0:34Speaker 1: of course I know the hip hop stuff, but I
- 0:36Speaker 1: like to watch the other stars and the other genres.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I always think it's cool. I think it's great how
- 0:40Speaker 1: they highlighted all genres of music. You know, you had country, pop, rock,
- 0:47Speaker 1: R and B hip. Hate on Harry Styles, I can't
- 0:51Speaker 1: hate on him. Even though I wanted to be once
- 0:52Speaker 1: to win, I want to be on the win to
- 0:54Speaker 1: Harry Styles had a good album, arguably the one of
- 0:57Speaker 1: the biggest. Okay, so let's let's uh, let's cener this.
- 1:01Speaker 1: What was we gonna do? The good, bad and ugly?
- 1:03Speaker 1: So what was your good? Hip Hop fifty? Yeah? Hip
- 1:08Speaker 1: Hop hip Hop fifty was decade felt it felt good
- 1:11Speaker 1: to watch that and it came out of nowhere when
- 1:13Speaker 1: Missy Elli came out. I was like feeling it. He
- 1:19Speaker 1: was mea we getting lit tonight. I felt like it
- 1:25Speaker 1: was the night to get it if he was black,
- 1:28Speaker 1: like all the black artists like really showed up and
- 1:31Speaker 1: showed that we really took over the Grammys. We really,
- 1:33Speaker 1: we really did. You know. One thing that I think
- 1:36Speaker 1: is super dope. I love how they had the round
- 1:40Speaker 1: table of you know, regular people from different cities and
- 1:43Speaker 1: gave them they take on who they think should win
- 1:46Speaker 1: the war. You know. That was they were showing a
- 1:48Speaker 1: profession and you know what city that they from and
- 1:50Speaker 1: stuff like that. One of the dope parts that I
- 1:53Speaker 1: liked about the Grammys is when that old lady went
- 1:55Speaker 1: what Trevor was like, yo, Harry Styles was right over there,
- 1:58Speaker 1: but he was like, listen, you gotta stay over here
- 2:00Speaker 1: because I don't want to, you know, attack a granny.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And then when he won the Album of a Year
- 2:06Speaker 1: and she presented him the award and gave him a hug,
- 2:09Speaker 1: I thought that was really dope. No did a phenomenal
- 2:13Speaker 1: He did a great look for nerves, like because sometimes
- 2:16Speaker 1: you know, we get nervous when you do media and
- 2:18Speaker 1: you host things like that. He looked like he was
- 2:20Speaker 1: completely comfortable. He did a phenomenal job. And his joke
- 2:23Speaker 1: for I love Lizzo, I love how her energy. Man,
- 2:28Speaker 1: Like the Grammys was lit. They had wine. They go
- 2:31Speaker 1: like Kendrick Martin on stages. What was the thing because
- 2:36Speaker 1: Black China had on. It wasn't that. I don't know
- 2:39Speaker 1: what was gonna have something on and um maybe their
- 2:44Speaker 1: stylas was just all friends. Okay, I don't know what
- 2:46Speaker 1: the thing was, but it wasn't with Black China had on.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Because one time for off setting Cardi, they had a
- 2:51Speaker 1: upset outfit was fired. Off set was fly, he was flying.
- 2:55Speaker 1: He was fired. He got set. You off set down, Cardi,
- 2:59Speaker 1: Now out you know what I'm saying. You already ain't
- 3:02Speaker 1: know you know some about you got on point where
- 3:04Speaker 1: you want. Everybody had that that drip of man shout
- 3:07Speaker 1: out to everybody's stylish future brother's daughter. That was dope.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That was that was a dope statement. Yea yeah, man.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Let's just go on down the list. Beyonce, she broke
- 3:16Speaker 1: the Grammy All Time records, so succes for that. She
- 3:23Speaker 1: still has never one album of the Year. That of
- 3:25Speaker 1: course went to Harry styles Man Beyonce can't have everything. Yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 1: she got thirty two. I mean, where where do you
- 3:31Speaker 1: put those? But she probably got multiple house, probably got
- 3:35Speaker 1: a trophy room, like a trophy room. She had one
- 3:38Speaker 1: of the most wins that night. Kendrick Bamar also had
- 3:40Speaker 1: three wins. Shout out to the legend man, he is
- 3:44Speaker 1: my favorite. Um Dj Khalid concluded the Grammys by performing
- 3:48Speaker 1: god Dude song in History. I think it's like eight minutes, right,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and they performed the whole they so did the whole thing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't know how long. Jay z Versus
- 3:57Speaker 1: was four minutes. I believe that these verses four minutes.
- 4:02Speaker 1: His verse was long uninterrupted interruptions. Did you guys get interrupted?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Because we live in Atlanta and yeah, so I was so.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I was mad about that because I thought it was
- 4:13Speaker 1: YouTube TV and I went to Twitter and everybody. They
- 4:16Speaker 1: just but listen, I think that, you know, they gotta
- 4:18Speaker 1: make their money, you know what I'm saying. They're probably
- 4:20Speaker 1: going a little bit over over on time, So they
- 4:23Speaker 1: had to get them commercials in. Yeah, that that that
- 4:25Speaker 1: wasn't right subrupt us. They could have interrupted anything else,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but did they want to interrupt? Man, come on, y'all.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Dr dre shout out to him. He won the Global
- 4:34Speaker 1: Impact Award and it's gonna be named after him. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 1: shout out to Dr dre Man. I hosted um, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: hosted his Grammy's party. Dr Dre's a cool guy. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: got a funny story too. I didn't know yourself real
- 4:44Speaker 1: because you you You flew to l a Ya, flew
- 4:47Speaker 1: to l As to a couple of parties and came back.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah yeah I was. I was in and out like
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Burger spot. But shout out to Dr dre Man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: Dr Dre. I had a privileged to host. We was
- 4:58Speaker 1: honoring Dr dre Man. Everybody there, Man it was. It
- 5:02Speaker 1: was Start studied his grammy party, man uh Ussher, uh
- 5:07Speaker 1: Young Miami, Chris Brown, Fabio four and Little Need. The
- 5:11Speaker 1: skate ring party. Yeah, so they built they actually built
- 5:15Speaker 1: the skating ring, and I found out the skating ring
- 5:17Speaker 1: is black owned. So they built an entire skating ring
- 5:20Speaker 1: in this big as venue and man it was, it
- 5:25Speaker 1: was funny. I was watching people bust their ass. Jake
- 5:28Speaker 1: shout out to mixed mass of David j D was there.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But I got a funny story. I got a funny story.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So they got me my own uh you know, green
- 5:37Speaker 1: room and everything, got everything on my writer. You know.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I was like, I was like, damn, I feel special.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Um So I was backstage right, I was going to
- 5:45Speaker 1: my dress room to get a little bit more licked,
- 5:47Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying before I started hosting. And
- 5:49Speaker 1: guess who I ran into Paul McCartney from the Beatles.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Did you take a picture? Wait? Wait? Wait? So I
- 5:57Speaker 1: ran it to Paul McCartney. I was like, I've seen him,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know how, like when you see somebody really big
- 6:04Speaker 1: and like you kind of like it was like, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: it was like I was. I was walking and I
- 6:09Speaker 1: was like and then he looked at me, and I'm
- 6:14Speaker 1: looking at him, and then about I pull out my
- 6:17Speaker 1: phone to get a picture because no. A woman jumps
- 6:22Speaker 1: out of her dress room and said, oh my god,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this Paul McCartney, I love you, jumps on this man's
- 6:28Speaker 1: shoulder and takes a pitch and I was like, met
- 6:31Speaker 1: of your moment, messed up my moment and and he
- 6:33Speaker 1: and you could tell he knew that. I was like,
- 6:35Speaker 1: oh my god, that was probably the first time I've
- 6:37Speaker 1: ever been starstruck. I was like, that's a big deal.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Bron I was like, oh my, you still didn't get
- 6:43Speaker 1: a chance after she you had to go. I didn't
- 6:46Speaker 1: see him. It was it was honestly, it was so
- 6:48Speaker 1: many people in there that like, honestly, it was so
- 6:52Speaker 1: many celebrities in there, like everybody was just regular. Floyd
- 6:57Speaker 1: Mayweather was there, everybody was there. It was just like
- 7:00Speaker 1: every time you turn around, there's a different you know,
- 7:02Speaker 1: celebrity and stuff like that. But when I was backstage,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that was like my first time like one on one
- 7:07Speaker 1: with somebody because everybody, you know, they had all their
- 7:09Speaker 1: friends and family and stuff. But I was I was
- 7:11Speaker 1: definitely like the first time that I've ever been starstruck.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And you know, I met Dr Dre Jimmy Iveen, Um,
- 7:19Speaker 1: you're getting another chance because you hope, Yeah, I hope.
- 7:22Speaker 1: So that's not even meet the that was big. I
- 7:25Speaker 1: was like, I was like, oh ship and this girl
- 7:28Speaker 1: she didn't even like hesitation. She literally jumped on it.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And you can tell the security was about the karate
- 7:33Speaker 1: chopper ass did you know the girl? It was? It
- 7:36Speaker 1: was it was just it was just a random girl.
- 7:38Speaker 1: She was coming out to my dress room. Got it? Yeah, Okay,
- 7:41Speaker 1: speaking of backstage, quai Vo and Offset allegedly got into
- 7:45Speaker 1: a fight at the Grammys. Then this audio leaked or
- 7:48Speaker 1: video leaked of Cardi b Um, those are both my
- 7:53Speaker 1: guys I got. I got a hell of love for
- 7:54Speaker 1: the me girls uh uh an emotional time and their careers.
- 7:59Speaker 1: The beginning my career. I had a first and relationship
- 8:03Speaker 1: with these guys, and I love both of them. I'm sad.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I do hope that they work it out, um, but
- 8:11Speaker 1: I do know that they you know, they weren't feeling
- 8:15Speaker 1: the vibe with each other before take off taken away
- 8:18Speaker 1: from us. So this is not new. May seem new
- 8:22Speaker 1: to people, but this is actually what has been going on,
- 8:27Speaker 1: you know. And it was just you know, it was
- 8:28Speaker 1: just a verbal I feel like they're gonna get it together. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 1: they're gonna get their family man families. You know that's
- 8:35Speaker 1: unfortunately they're you know, they're famous. So you know our
- 8:39Speaker 1: arguments that we haven't you know, with our cousins. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: she cuts the ass out. She cuts the ass out
- 8:44Speaker 1: like a real supposed to and did take sides say
- 8:48Speaker 1: both of y'all are wrong, said may say that's my brother.
- 8:51Speaker 1: We ain't fight. They did what they supposed to just family.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You know. It's just unfortunately that you know, they got cameras,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you know, and they facing you know. I just wanted
- 8:58Speaker 1: to fix it though. Yeah, that was one of the
- 9:00Speaker 1: ugly moments of the Grammys. Um. Another bad moment of
- 9:04Speaker 1: the Grammys. UM, I think the bad moment for me
- 9:08Speaker 1: was the disruption um during the fifties. He was like,
- 9:11Speaker 1: why y'all gotta slide in the commercial breaks because you're
- 9:14Speaker 1: in the moment, and then all of a sudden commercial
- 9:17Speaker 1: you're no. Yeah, that it did bother me too. Good bad,
- 9:21Speaker 1: ugly Grammys, y'all, let us know what y'all think of
- 9:22Speaker 1: the comments. Moving right along, Baby blew up Pretty Ricky
- 9:26Speaker 1: released from prison. That boy, that was exactly what the
- 9:29Speaker 1: Drew Skis kid that my dog got out. And then
- 9:36Speaker 1: you seen you seen Pleasure P got here on here
- 9:38Speaker 1: a live first of all, Pleasure Pe crazy shout out
- 9:41Speaker 1: a Pleasure P bad that's my dog. Pleasure P was
- 9:43Speaker 1: on live and he was promoted his single. Man, y'all,
- 9:47Speaker 1: y'all make sure you gonna check out my single. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 1: it's like, yo, y'all check out single. Baby Blue walks
- 9:53Speaker 1: out of prison. You know, it's exactly wrong in the comments.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But I believe that blue one to a prep to
- 10:00Speaker 1: jail for p PP five billion dollar fraud. Yeah he
- 10:04Speaker 1: did that. Boy only did it a year. Ship, I
- 10:07Speaker 1: do a year about twenty five of them things. I
- 10:10Speaker 1: know that. I know he's now. Listen, man, everybody don't
- 10:14Speaker 1: get off that easy because because the dude hush Puppy
- 10:17Speaker 1: to do I think his name was hush Puppy to
- 10:19Speaker 1: dude that was in Dubob. Yeah, the African guy that was.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know, depends on what you do, though, right, and
- 10:24Speaker 1: how you're made. I don't. I don't know how that
- 10:27Speaker 1: ship works. I just know I ain't risking my freedom.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Months I think he did ten months. No, No, he
- 10:33Speaker 1: just no, he did. He didnaby blew he would send
- 10:36Speaker 1: this to twenty months in prison. After pleading guilty to
- 10:39Speaker 1: one count of conspiracy to commit wyre froug last December,
- 10:43Speaker 1: he was accused of filing fact loan applications to obtain
- 10:47Speaker 1: the PPP funds. He received more than twenty four million
- 10:52Speaker 1: as a result of this scam. Um he had to
- 10:55Speaker 1: pay it back. Hell pretty sure there was some type
- 10:58Speaker 1: of probably stipulation, just like he probably has probably came
- 11:02Speaker 1: home to a ten million piece. That's just kind of wait, wait,
- 11:05Speaker 1: wait now, what did you say? It's conspiracy? Right, So
- 11:08Speaker 1: conspiracy is different. Conspiracy is that we think you did it,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but we ain't got no proof that you did it,
- 11:15Speaker 1: got it. That's probably why I probably is the we
- 11:19Speaker 1: have proof that you did and you can do the
- 11:21Speaker 1: eight teen years there you go. Conspiracy is just like
- 11:25Speaker 1: hey man, and you know he probably took a plea deal.
- 11:27Speaker 1: They probably like, boy, with your own conspiracy whatever you like.
- 11:30Speaker 1: We ain't got no evidence only but we think you're
- 11:33Speaker 1: doing some ship illegally from the little evidence that was wise.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So he got caught on the little on the wire thing,
- 11:39Speaker 1: I believe. But in his defense he said that he
- 11:41Speaker 1: was um, he was he was actually scammed into doing
- 11:44Speaker 1: that because he said he has somebody that approached him,
- 11:48Speaker 1: that approached multiple is true. This is true. People weren't
- 11:51Speaker 1: doing that because I'm not gonna lie like like people
- 11:54Speaker 1: who do your taxes for you if they can, they
- 11:56Speaker 1: can the whole thing. So it probably was him in
- 12:00Speaker 1: the tax preparer or whoever, because it was it was
- 12:03Speaker 1: people like sending out emails and text messages and d
- 12:06Speaker 1: M s and stuff like this. I said, man, I
- 12:08Speaker 1: ain't about doing that. That's first. If anything called a
- 12:11Speaker 1: p PP that sounds illegal to me. If you ain't
- 12:15Speaker 1: doing your business right now. I can understand if you
- 12:17Speaker 1: have an establishment with employees and you use it because
- 12:20Speaker 1: p p P was originally to cover the overhead of
- 12:24Speaker 1: your losses. So if you owned, you know, restaurant, use
- 12:28Speaker 1: a small business on you on the restaurant and you
- 12:30Speaker 1: can't financially take care of your payrolls and stuff like that,
- 12:33Speaker 1: it was just put you back on. You put employees
- 12:36Speaker 1: so you don't lose your business. But people were just starting,
- 12:38Speaker 1: you know, they would just start doing that. People are
- 12:41Speaker 1: just starting LLC's and say, hey, you know, I got
- 12:44Speaker 1: fifty employees and I got a trucking company. They feel
- 12:48Speaker 1: I feel like they're still grabbing people. They are definitely
- 12:50Speaker 1: still yeah people as we'll be right back with more
- 12:56Speaker 1: of the Baller Alert Show. It is time for players ball.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I'm a fowler. Guys here about Shannon Sharp and his
- 13:12Speaker 1: thoughts about John Moran. Do you know who John Moran is?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Of course I do. He's the point guard for the Grizzlies. Okay, now,
- 13:18Speaker 1: did you see he was pointing a little laser at
- 13:20Speaker 1: the little referees. And I didn't see nothing. You didn't
- 13:24Speaker 1: see that. I just heard, Okay, allegations that his friend
- 13:27Speaker 1: group utter threats against Pacers staff and supporters last weekend.
- 13:31Speaker 1: After an investigation from the league, it was revealed that
- 13:34Speaker 1: there was no evidence of any threats. However, one of
- 13:37Speaker 1: Moran's friends was bad from the FedEx Forum for a
- 13:40Speaker 1: full year. That's right here man too, that got banned. Damn,
- 13:43Speaker 1: that's the best friend. This is what Shannon Sharp had
- 13:46Speaker 1: to say. You got all two million dollar contract and
- 13:49Speaker 1: you want people in the NBA to thank you hood
- 13:51Speaker 1: because you roll with these type of people from you
- 13:54Speaker 1: putting yourself in hard way when you don't have to.
- 13:56Speaker 1: So this is what I don't like. I don't like
- 13:58Speaker 1: how there's no evidence, right, there's no evidence whatsoever that
- 14:02Speaker 1: you know he did the laser, the laser point, the
- 14:05Speaker 1: laser and all this stuff. And then Shannon Sharp and
- 14:07Speaker 1: just goes in on this man, calling him a thug. Well, well,
- 14:11Speaker 1: this also stems from remember they had words at the
- 14:14Speaker 1: Laker game. He had when he went violent for his
- 14:16Speaker 1: Cardikan sweater right put on screen. Okay, remember that they
- 14:19Speaker 1: had words. So there's already a little beef going on. Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 1: but the up he made up with his daddy and
- 14:26Speaker 1: it's gonna stay on wax, I don't think. So he
- 14:29Speaker 1: went in on his ass. Now, one thing that I
- 14:31Speaker 1: do agree, Wait, one thing that I do agree is
- 14:34Speaker 1: that if you're worth two hundred million dollars, you shouldn't
- 14:39Speaker 1: have any negative people around you, anybody that's gonna wear
- 14:43Speaker 1: you down, anybody that's gonna have your name in some bullshit.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Because let me tell you something, if I was worth
- 14:49Speaker 1: two hundred million dollars, a lot of people getting cut off,
- 14:54Speaker 1: a lot of people. I'm brand new, brand new, my
- 14:56Speaker 1: bank account brand new, I'm brand new, brand new, beat
- 15:00Speaker 1: tea and brand new. But I'm gonna have some rules.
- 15:01Speaker 1: There's gonna be some rules to ben be rules and stipulations,
- 15:04Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like, you gotta have people
- 15:07Speaker 1: around you that look at you, asked the bag, and
- 15:11Speaker 1: a lot of times people get the bag and they
- 15:14Speaker 1: still have the baggage with them. And that's the problem
- 15:17Speaker 1: if you work two hundred million dollars, but you shouldn't
- 15:20Speaker 1: be having these type of people around. But I understand
- 15:22Speaker 1: John mored came out with a statement and saying that
- 15:26Speaker 1: you know, there was no evidence that that that happened,
- 15:28Speaker 1: so we don't know. Okay, uh trade deadline. Lebron says
- 15:33Speaker 1: he's disappointed that the Lakers didn't land Kyrie. Kyrie went
- 15:36Speaker 1: to the Mavericks. I'm excited to see how him and
- 15:40Speaker 1: Luca Danche. I'm not played together. I'm not that's gonna
- 15:44Speaker 1: be a good first Luca. First of all, Luca plays
- 15:46Speaker 1: similar to Lebron. He's just a non athletic version of Lebron.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Bro First of all, Kyrie is leaving, and after this,
- 15:57Speaker 1: it's a kid in Mark Cuban. Mark Cuban's gonna tighten
- 15:59Speaker 1: them up. Man. There's nothing to leave if they offer
- 16:02Speaker 1: him to bag and he should be on best behavior
- 16:04Speaker 1: because he's gonna want a three to four year deal.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He gone, were you gonna do? He's going to the Lakers.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Why would he not go to the Lakers? His contract
- 16:15Speaker 1: is up the end of this year. Huh. I don't think.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't think the Lakers can afford him number one,
- 16:20Speaker 1: number two, three to four year deal because they can't
- 16:23Speaker 1: afford him. They have they still have to deal away
- 16:26Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook if he gone. If they deal, he go. Okay,
- 16:31Speaker 1: if you say so, he go. If he's not gonna
- 16:35Speaker 1: will give away a kid. Need to have this man,
- 16:37Speaker 1: Kyrie Irving time out. But legally if they have all
- 16:41Speaker 1: the money on their books with the Russell Westbook trade,
- 16:44Speaker 1: which is why they probably didn't land Kyrie because of
- 16:46Speaker 1: all that. First of all, No, they didn't land Kyrie
- 16:48Speaker 1: because first of all, Lebron put that team together. No,
- 16:52Speaker 1: they didn't. They didn't land Kyrie number one because it
- 16:55Speaker 1: was too much baggage from the Russell west Brook trade.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And Dallas have more to offer the Nets then the Lakers.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But you want to know why Dallas got Kyrie. They
- 17:04Speaker 1: got Kyrie because the GM of the Brooklyn Nets, the
- 17:09Speaker 1: GM of the Brooklyn Nets, said I'm going to send
- 17:12Speaker 1: him anywhere but the Lakers. Okay, he was Hayden, Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: should Yeah, should have went to Miami. He put out
- 17:20Speaker 1: a statement and said, I'm gonna see him anywhere, but
- 17:22Speaker 1: the Lakers. First of all, why would you send him
- 17:24Speaker 1: somewhere that he wants to go if you're an owner. No,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I don't want to send him somewhere that he wants
- 17:29Speaker 1: to go. I'm gonna send him to the best deal
- 17:31Speaker 1: in the return on my investment. That's why I said
- 17:34Speaker 1: the Dallas Mavericks had the most offered to him, because
- 17:36Speaker 1: he got They got all these first round draft picks
- 17:39Speaker 1: and some good players. Uh what's his name, didn't witty,
- 17:43Speaker 1: he's good, and a couple other players they got good.
- 17:45Speaker 1: But they already sent them off. Okay, they said, they
- 17:48Speaker 1: said they sent them off to Brooklyn. But Kyrie, I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: gonna tell you, Kyrie is gonna leave after this season.
- 17:54Speaker 1: He's gonna leave. They're gonna try to offer him a
- 17:56Speaker 1: crazy deal, and Lebron gonna say, man, come on on
- 18:00Speaker 1: the Papa, I know you want to years in the league.
- 18:03Speaker 1: He gonna of course play with us. He want another ring,
- 18:06Speaker 1: he want one more ring. And he could think Lebron
- 18:08Speaker 1: with five rings is good. Speaking of Lebron, Lebron did
- 18:11Speaker 1: hit the all time record. He's the leading scorer. He
- 18:16Speaker 1: is the greatest or ever. He is the greatest of
- 18:19Speaker 1: all time. Todd of y'all playing with Lebron name, he
- 18:23Speaker 1: is the greatest of all times. And I hate when
- 18:26Speaker 1: we do the Jordan's is better because I don't think
- 18:30Speaker 1: the level of competition Jordan had was as much as
- 18:32Speaker 1: lebron Um and he had six rings. He didn't lose
- 18:36Speaker 1: in six championships, so the argument is there, But hell,
- 18:38Speaker 1: Bill Russell has eleven chips. Well let's do it on
- 18:40Speaker 1: the same playing field. Michael Jordan's was Michael Jordan of
- 18:45Speaker 1: his error. This is Lebron's error. He's the greatest of
- 18:48Speaker 1: this era. And that's what people is the greatest of
- 18:51Speaker 1: all time. I think he's got a Lebron fan. I
- 18:53Speaker 1: think he's the greatest of all. I'm a Lebron fan because,
- 18:55Speaker 1: first of all, if you look at a lot of
- 18:58Speaker 1: things that lebron On has accomplished off the court is
- 19:02Speaker 1: something that a lot of athletes have never accomplished. The
- 19:06Speaker 1: man built school, accomplished the man built his own damn school. Yes,
- 19:11Speaker 1: the man has a sports agent. There are all five
- 19:15Speaker 1: of his friends are still run all of his companies.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And I loved that about him. I saw that clip.
- 19:20Speaker 1: That was dope. I wish I wish more because I've
- 19:22Speaker 1: been following him because we graduate high school the same time.
- 19:24Speaker 1: So I remember he came straight out of high school
- 19:27Speaker 1: and went straight to the league, and people was clolling
- 19:30Speaker 1: him for having his homeboy as his agent. Uh. He
- 19:33Speaker 1: was just saying, and they were just homeboys at that
- 19:35Speaker 1: particular moment, but he never hired anybody show people in position,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and then you know they're looking out for him as
- 19:43Speaker 1: he's looking out for them. They still did a good
- 19:46Speaker 1: job too, so they all should be like Maverick Uhu
- 19:51Speaker 1: and all those guys. They did a great job. They
- 19:53Speaker 1: still had to perform at a at a good you
- 19:56Speaker 1: know clip, because they really had to do a good
- 19:58Speaker 1: job of it. You know what I had. I had
- 20:00Speaker 1: a conversation the other day with about right. I said,
- 20:05Speaker 1: y'all had a conversation with about this, and we we
- 20:08Speaker 1: we always you know, going going at each other on
- 20:10Speaker 1: chats and you know, stuff like that. And I was like,
- 20:13Speaker 1: I was like, listen, man, if more entertainers, if y'all
- 20:18Speaker 1: put your friends in position, then y'all would not have
- 20:22Speaker 1: to worry about your friend asking you for money, asking
- 20:27Speaker 1: you for this, because that's how you spread the wealth.
- 20:31Speaker 1: You know what I mean. If you look at somebody
- 20:33Speaker 1: like jay Z, all of jay z friends are rich,
- 20:35Speaker 1: all of them. That was named Dash's motto, though, like
- 20:37Speaker 1: you know, just don't have just one person making everything happen.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You know, you put your other people on so that
- 20:43Speaker 1: you know, if one falls short, you've got somebody to
- 20:45Speaker 1: lean on, exactly. And people don't understand that that that logic.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So the conversation that we was having was, you know,
- 20:53Speaker 1: he was saying that, you know, well some people, You
- 20:55Speaker 1: put some people in position, and some people can't handle
- 20:58Speaker 1: being in that position. So I so I get gave
- 21:00Speaker 1: him um an example. He said, some people don't know
- 21:03Speaker 1: how to do business, And I gave you an example.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I said, some people have to learn how to do business,
- 21:07Speaker 1: but they have to be in that position in order
- 21:09Speaker 1: to do that. It's people get hard at new jobs
- 21:11Speaker 1: every day that don't know how to do that position.
- 21:14Speaker 1: But guess what they say, I'm gonna learn how to
- 21:16Speaker 1: do this position because we give problem examples, say Ferrari
- 21:20Speaker 1: is an asshole, Ferrari is a jerk, and people don't
- 21:23Speaker 1: want to deal Ferrari. If Ferrari managed Taylor Swift, do
- 21:28Speaker 1: you think they still not gonna call Ferrari? It's like
- 21:30Speaker 1: a shot call how business was working. So he put
- 21:32Speaker 1: himself in college, and I believe he put his friends
- 21:34Speaker 1: in there too, so that they can learn and they
- 21:37Speaker 1: can do it themselves instead of having to uh rely
- 21:40Speaker 1: on other people. Yeah, I think that's really dope. I
- 21:42Speaker 1: also think it's really dope. Shout out to me Zi.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I think it's really dope. How you know twenty one
- 21:48Speaker 1: Savage has had you know, a manager that was once
- 21:51Speaker 1: a promoter in Atlanta and kind of stick stick together
- 21:54Speaker 1: because you you see a lot of times you lead
- 21:56Speaker 1: artists no go ahead, they will go their separate ways
- 22:00Speaker 1: when they get astronomically big. And I want to say
- 22:04Speaker 1: salute the twenty one Savage salute, the meazy salute, the
- 22:06Speaker 1: red push because means he is always pushing the initiatives,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you know, put your folks on. So I agree about
- 22:13Speaker 1: out to like because some people can't handle that responsibility.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You know, you gotta kind of know your friends and
- 22:20Speaker 1: you know, you know if they're really gonna be about
- 22:23Speaker 1: trying to do something versus you know, just being They
- 22:27Speaker 1: could be selfish, you know what I'm saying. They could
- 22:28Speaker 1: fall short or be lazy. You know, you just gotta
- 22:31Speaker 1: know where your friends are before you can just It's
- 22:34Speaker 1: also true because if you'd be some greedy situations will
- 22:36Speaker 1: will make you lose some money or put some legal situations.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I was just trying to make the I was just
- 22:42Speaker 1: trying to make the statement of look when you when
- 22:46Speaker 1: you established artists, Bro, anybody can manage you. Yeah, anybody
- 22:51Speaker 1: could manage Beyonce not not saying that on the level
- 22:54Speaker 1: of she's on. I'm saying that people people are gonna
- 22:57Speaker 1: like if you manage somebody like beyond say, people are
- 23:00Speaker 1: gonna call your phone. You don't have to reach out
- 23:02Speaker 1: to nobody to do no deal, you know what I mean?
- 23:05Speaker 1: And that was that was the conversation that I was having.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I was like, Bro, when when artists get to a
- 23:10Speaker 1: certain level, I don't understand why when they reach a
- 23:13Speaker 1: certain level of success they abandoned their team or they
- 23:16Speaker 1: all management and stuff like that, some like in the
- 23:18Speaker 1: entertainment period or in any in any walk of life period.
- 23:22Speaker 1: But some of them do that because you got people
- 23:24Speaker 1: like Ludacris who had the same manager exactly one time
- 23:27Speaker 1: for Ludicrous and one time for to Change um techs
- 23:32Speaker 1: Tech and that was his DJ and Tech is his
- 23:35Speaker 1: right hand man them. We'll be right back with more
- 23:39Speaker 1: of the Baller alert y'all message. It is now time
- 23:49Speaker 1: for baller mail. Dear Baller team. I got into a
- 23:54Speaker 1: car accident with my side check in my girlfriend's car,
- 23:57Speaker 1: so I'm kind of stuck in a weird play. My
- 24:00Speaker 1: car is in the shop for a few more days.
- 24:02Speaker 1: My car was in the shop for a few more days,
- 24:04Speaker 1: so I've been taking my lady to work every day
- 24:06Speaker 1: in her car. Well, I scooped up my side check
- 24:09Speaker 1: for a quick lunch day on her side of town,
- 24:11Speaker 1: and just my luck, we got into a car accident.
- 24:14Speaker 1: So my little side booth feels like we should tell
- 24:17Speaker 1: my lady about what's going on and the accident. I'm like, hell, no,
- 24:22Speaker 1: that ain't smart or safe. She disagreed and had an
- 24:25Speaker 1: attitude after I dropped her back home. I'm sliding to
- 24:28Speaker 1: school my main lady up. But I'm paranoid now because
- 24:31Speaker 1: I don't know what type of side, what type of
- 24:33Speaker 1: time my side chick is on. It's been a few
- 24:36Speaker 1: days and I ain't heard from my side check, and
- 24:39Speaker 1: my main lady has been acting weird lately. What y'all
- 24:41Speaker 1: think insurance is getting the car fixed? I just got
- 24:44Speaker 1: my whip out, but I'm paranoid as hell. I need
- 24:47Speaker 1: y'all opinions a sad please. I don't think that she's
- 24:52Speaker 1: telling I think that he's just paranoid. And when you
- 24:55Speaker 1: become paranoid, any emotion that you feel is in a
- 25:01Speaker 1: regular emotion. You donna get a little scared. What I
- 25:04Speaker 1: think you should do? First of all, man, you gotta
- 25:07Speaker 1: cut the side chick off a sap. You got a
- 25:09Speaker 1: blocker on Instagram, blocker number, blocker on all social media.
- 25:13Speaker 1: You gotta leave alone, man, because you're a little bit upset.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And one thing about it. When we get upset, they
- 25:19Speaker 1: get the talking. And the one thing you don't want
- 25:21Speaker 1: her to do is tell your main chick what just happened. So,
- 25:25Speaker 1: in my opinion, I think you should block it. You
- 25:28Speaker 1: did the ultimate. No, no, my boy, you got into
- 25:31Speaker 1: an accident with your side chick and your kit car
- 25:36Speaker 1: d How careless are you? I think you in trouble.
- 25:41Speaker 1: You in big trouble. Yeah, if she hasn't told, she's
- 25:43Speaker 1: gonna find a way to tell it, possibly down the
- 25:46Speaker 1: line too, so you can mess around and maybe not
- 25:50Speaker 1: give you your your main check up. Get married and
- 25:54Speaker 1: still got this circulating out there that hasn't never been addressed.
- 25:58Speaker 1: She can see y'all together for family oriented out she'd
- 26:02Speaker 1: be like, and she just walked up to you all
- 26:04Speaker 1: and be like I was in the car when he
- 26:06Speaker 1: got into the accident. Oh boo boo boo boo boopoo
- 26:12Speaker 1: A big fella, this is tough. This is this is
- 26:14Speaker 1: kind of Sardine's right here. This is this is bullshit.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I ain't gonna con I'm scared for you. I don't
- 26:19Speaker 1: know what to tell you to do. I do think
- 26:23Speaker 1: if you're gonna be with this lady, you should just
- 26:24Speaker 1: tell her. You should tell her. Damn, you already paranoid,
- 26:29Speaker 1: so that means you're scared because you will tell her.
- 26:31Speaker 1: She's gonna leave your ass. It might be a rap
- 26:34Speaker 1: for you, might lose your side chick and your main
- 26:36Speaker 1: chick big dog, and you're being callless. She may leave,
- 26:40Speaker 1: she may not, but one things for show, two things
- 26:42Speaker 1: for certain. You always gonna hear about it if she
- 26:44Speaker 1: don't leave. Now, on the bright side, Sai could have
- 26:49Speaker 1: been like, you know what, this is too much. I'm
- 26:51Speaker 1: off of him. Bump him. That's what I'm saying. That's
- 26:53Speaker 1: what you might as well. Go on blocks. It could
- 26:56Speaker 1: be done. Damn, I think y'all should leave a state. No, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 1: In that situation, you gotta be like baby I'm about
- 27:04Speaker 1: to get a new job out of town. Ain't nobody
- 27:06Speaker 1: going nowhere, especially eggs and Oh I think you should
- 27:12Speaker 1: lead town. I think you should get apply for a
- 27:14Speaker 1: job in a different state. Man, I'll run into each
- 27:18Speaker 1: other and your family got up. He's gonna feel a
- 27:21Speaker 1: way and say something. That's so you should just tell
- 27:23Speaker 1: her to get it out the way. Don't tell her
- 27:28Speaker 1: you got a blocker, man, you just blocker. Listen. First
- 27:32Speaker 1: of all, she side chick find out that she's blocked,
- 27:34Speaker 1: she's probably gonna go crazy, make it worse. You can
- 27:37Speaker 1: make a fake no no, you got know you got
- 27:39Speaker 1: a blocker, and then go into hiding. So don't go
- 27:42Speaker 1: to another spots that you normally Yeah it is because listen,
- 27:45Speaker 1: Tom heals all wounds. Okay, yes to do, Yes to do?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Not an accident with your side chick and your main chick. Calm,
- 27:52Speaker 1: but listen, if man, first of all, just can't be
- 27:56Speaker 1: mad forever. Man, you gotta get over. I'm scared both
- 28:00Speaker 1: of them gonna be mad. But I just feel like
- 28:02Speaker 1: he should just tell his girlfriend and get it out
- 28:05Speaker 1: the way. And uh, you know they faced the head on.
- 28:09Speaker 1: How How far are you into this? Relationship. You need
- 28:11Speaker 1: to DM me back because if it's everything is kind
- 28:14Speaker 1: of new, you should fall back from everybody and reset
- 28:17Speaker 1: and find somebody different. And don't do that till them
- 28:20Speaker 1: because after you get the car fixed. But if he's
- 28:23Speaker 1: driving the car, then it's probably somebody that trust me.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Why are you driving? He said his car was in
- 28:29Speaker 1: the shop temporarily. Sure it was. Then he got his
- 28:31Speaker 1: out of the shop. Sure, man, but you can't be
- 28:34Speaker 1: driving your girl car. Man, just a Vavid boy. I
- 28:44Speaker 1: ain't gonna cap let's get into some pep talk. For
- 28:48Speaker 1: this pep talk, I'm gonna do black history facts. It's
- 28:51Speaker 1: Black History Month. I want to highlight Viola Davis over
- 28:55Speaker 1: the weekend at the legendary Grammys that went down, I
- 28:59Speaker 1: felt like that is the best Grammys ever because hip
- 29:02Speaker 1: hop was all over that thing. But by alla Davis
- 29:05Speaker 1: also became an egot. She earned her first Grammy for
- 29:08Speaker 1: her performance of her audio book of her memoir Finding Me.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So when you were an egot, of course you have
- 29:15Speaker 1: an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony and
- 29:19Speaker 1: she has all of them now and I'm just so
- 29:21Speaker 1: happy for her. She right there, Yeah, she has become
- 29:25Speaker 1: the third black woman in history to ever achieve this honor.
- 29:30Speaker 1: So shout out to Viola Davis. That's fine. Yeah, that's
- 29:34Speaker 1: a lot of awards. You know. Jay hud is one,
- 29:37Speaker 1: Um will Be Goldberg is one, and now by Alla
- 29:39Speaker 1: Davis is the third black woman. Oh wo love you.
- 29:45Speaker 1: We appreciate you. Can't get enough of baller alerts. Follow
