- 1:22Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:22Speaker 5: If you have been raping and murdering and robbing and
- 1:27Speaker 5: stealing people for some unknown reason for the last two weeks,
- 1:35Speaker 5: it's not really been a crime. I mean it was
- 1:37Speaker 5: like watching that show, the movie series they made where
- 1:45Speaker 5: the Purge saw the Purge twelve hour twelve Crime ain't crime,
- 1:54Speaker 5: and I think we go through the list. We let
- 1:57Speaker 5: some some money launderers, some straight up started one of
- 2:02Speaker 5: the most dangerous games.
- 2:04Speaker 8: I let you no, no, no, no, it was actually proven. Okay, okay,
- 2:09Speaker 8: it was actually Okay, that's what I got. I'm gonna
- 2:15Speaker 8: if we're gonna go by the fact. Okay, okay, we're
- 2:18Speaker 8: gonna you know, that's what you boy got out.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 2:21Speaker 5: We got all kinds of characters I need to know
- 2:24Speaker 5: and be a young boy did it wasn't a crime.
- 2:27Speaker 5: It wasn't It wasn't a crime. So whatever he did
- 2:30Speaker 5: wasn't a crime.
- 2:32Speaker 8: And that's where we are in this in this quick
- 2:34Speaker 8: we're at a great time to be so listen, listen.
- 2:36Speaker 8: I started there so uh.
- 2:38Speaker 5: I got these two young men on the panel with
- 2:41Speaker 5: me today, Big Kenny, the funny man himself. Come on, Greg,
- 2:45Speaker 5: they are comedians and I'm referencing the comedic part of
- 2:50Speaker 5: them to get you to understand, whoever you are, whatever
- 2:53Speaker 5: you're doing from this point on in your life, you
- 2:57Speaker 5: better find your funny bone, because if you can't laugh,
- 3:05Speaker 5: it's gonna be as struck sports. You looking forward to
- 3:08Speaker 5: make some sense. Man, don't don't add it up. Man,
- 3:13Speaker 5: it's just you sitting over there. You got to calculator.
- 3:17Speaker 5: You keep hitting them with that. But there was what's
- 3:19Speaker 5: that theorem them?
- 3:24Speaker 8: Remember the time my grandmama and them pinching got stolen
- 3:28Speaker 8: and to say the house and she had to go
- 3:32Speaker 8: live with my auntie.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And we laughed, laugh good times. I just I was
- 3:39Speaker 1: thinking of that duty. They just letting out. Man, Damn.
- 3:42Speaker 1: My granddaddy criedyselfter that just let him out.
- 3:46Speaker 8: And they let him out the other day and he
- 3:48Speaker 8: was like, Aha. We laughed and we laughed, And I'm
- 3:53Speaker 8: just just my advice to you. You know, we're bigger
- 3:58Speaker 8: than just a sports show. We love to try to
- 4:02Speaker 8: help guide each other and we aren't and especially me,
- 4:06Speaker 8: people think when I speak sometimes I'm no, I'm not
- 4:08Speaker 8: telling you. I'm just telling you my idea of how
- 4:12Speaker 8: you could have a better life in a lot of areas.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Is it the right way? No, there is no one
- 4:20Speaker 5: right way. But I'm just telling you you can keep
- 4:24Speaker 5: it a little more simple if you don't go into
- 4:28Speaker 5: quick trip and rob them people. A little simple.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I know you I know you want them donuts, man,
- 4:36Speaker 5: but just go ahead onme. It's looking up butter and
- 4:40Speaker 5: jelly COMANCHI and make life. See if you go in
- 4:43Speaker 5: there and getting people donuts with that gun, and see
- 4:46Speaker 5: you compensated life a lot.
- 4:49Speaker 8: And I tell you what free life up for me
- 4:51Speaker 8: is when I got to the point where it said
- 4:53Speaker 8: going into the stove, take them people donuts with a
- 4:56Speaker 8: gun can complicate things. I just accept it right at
- 4:59Speaker 8: that point, that's gonna complicate things. Just don't even don't
- 5:02Speaker 8: even try and rationalize it. Well, they got more button
- 5:05Speaker 8: nuts than naked eat that. See, that's where it started
- 5:07Speaker 8: getting cloudy them old Yeah, ain't nobody really tripping on?
- 5:11Speaker 1: No, don't ain't the gun ain't got but three bullets
- 5:14Speaker 1: that don't do none of that.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Just stop at gnaw it's wrong. Just stop it all
- 5:20Speaker 8: that's wrong and go on home and gone home. Bro.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I said that find your funny bone wherever you think
- 5:25Speaker 1: is hidden. Man. And some of you might have not
- 5:27Speaker 1: have laughed in a long.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Time or thought life there was nothing to laugh about
- 5:32Speaker 5: but the way and some of the things you might
- 5:35Speaker 5: read the articles.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You cannot take this thing? Yeah, yeah, what what's that?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Was saying, take it with a grain of wait.
- 5:43Speaker 8: This guy we saw ride, We saw in betchelors and
- 5:48Speaker 8: criminals and gang leaders and folks we don't even know
- 5:51Speaker 8: what they did get released from prison by the president.
- 5:54Speaker 8: The same week, a guard ripped the toilet away from
- 5:59Speaker 8: a wall and let other prisoners out of prison in
- 6:02Speaker 8: New Orleans. So everybody letting people out all over. He
- 6:05Speaker 8: was being presidential, That's what he was doing. It's not
- 6:08Speaker 8: necessarily a crime. No, No, At least the last two weeks,
- 6:12Speaker 8: crime has not been crime. But we have missed you,
- 6:15Speaker 8: dearly command you Greg, Big Kenny and I are back.
- 6:19Speaker 8: So much has been going on. First and foremost congratulations
- 6:23Speaker 8: to the OKC Thunder and the Indiana Pacers for making
- 6:28Speaker 8: it to the NBA Finals.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Yay, that will start on Thursday. Now you're talking about
- 6:35Speaker 5: too small markets. You're talking about too small markets. Small
- 6:40Speaker 5: markets are when you start to write down where you've
- 6:44Speaker 5: been in your life and you start realizing that you've
- 6:48Speaker 5: never been to Indianapolis. Now I've been there, but that
- 6:52Speaker 5: was just for because I played a sport. You have
- 6:55Speaker 5: to Indianapolis. I've been there because I was booked and
- 7:00Speaker 5: them people said I had to get the money back
- 7:03Speaker 5: if I wouldn't wait. So I had to go to Indiana,
- 7:06Speaker 5: and I'm not actually sure we're Okay, is never been.
- 7:13Speaker 1: What part of the state is it? I believe it's
- 7:17Speaker 1: uh southeast from there. I'm from from Lawton, Oklahoma.
- 7:27Speaker 8: Yeah, more popular west of Oklahoma City, Okay, and even
- 7:31Speaker 8: Oklahoma City.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Like, what's what's the next popular known city to city? Tulsa, Tulsa, Okay, Okay,
- 7:40Speaker 5: the Tulsa King Good Good series.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 8: Yeah, and Tulsa is in Oklahoma. I was thinking, ain't
- 7:45Speaker 8: that in the brass No, but I got way more
- 7:48Speaker 8: problems than then, small market the same. Yeah, but this
- 7:53Speaker 8: will give us a break from the stars.
- 7:56Speaker 5: And this is where we and the NBA are right now.
- 8:02Speaker 5: And we've talked about who will be the face of
- 8:05Speaker 5: the NBA. It's not that these young men don't have
- 8:10Speaker 5: the talent, but they seem to be from a time
- 8:16Speaker 5: where being the face of something is not as sought after.
- 8:27Speaker 5: It doesn't have this kind of prestigiousness. It is more
- 8:35Speaker 5: of setting yourself up. I think Candice Parker, the great
- 8:39Speaker 5: Hall of Fame basketball player, she was talking about Caitlyn
- 8:43Speaker 5: Clark and how sorry basically she was in a sense saying, sorry, Caiton,
- 8:50Speaker 5: But if you're gonna if the face, all you gonna
- 8:53Speaker 5: do is get screwed nine. You're not gonna even realize
- 8:57Speaker 5: whether you're actually good, right, You ain't even know you
- 9:02Speaker 5: no more. You just gonna be good. But nobody really
- 9:05Speaker 5: is gonna be saying you good. They're just gonna be
- 9:09Speaker 5: looking for the things you do wrong. We didn't you
- 9:12Speaker 5: know when you had that look where you might have
- 9:15Speaker 5: been yelling at your boyfriend, but you really was just.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Taylor Clark hit thirty two with eighteen assists after pulling
- 9:21Speaker 8: nine puppies out of a fire.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But did she right right with about temper? She missed
- 9:29Speaker 1: that last rebound.
- 9:30Speaker 8: You know people, I mean no, and people really do that,
- 9:33Speaker 8: And that's I mean, that's really where we are right now.
- 9:36Speaker 5: People will criticize you for the one thing you did
- 9:38Speaker 5: not do right. And I was three days ago. Did
- 9:43Speaker 5: John T. Murray, who was here with the Hawks for
- 9:45Speaker 5: two years, guy that from Atlanta swear he's a Hawk
- 9:50Speaker 5: fan fans of Atlanta. I say that, like I said,
- 9:53Speaker 5: with a grain of salt, because they they say they are.
- 9:57Speaker 5: But how you talk what you do, don't say it.
- 10:00Speaker 5: So if you don't go to the events, that kind
- 10:03Speaker 5: of takes away from your pandemonium. To me, well, and
- 10:07Speaker 5: when your conversation is more of criticizing than applausing, it
- 10:12Speaker 5: takes But long story short, he was trying to tell
- 10:14Speaker 5: me that the shot did John Ty Murray sucked and
- 10:18Speaker 5: didn't play well, And I said, well, the average like
- 10:21Speaker 5: twenty one points and seven assists of game they brought
- 10:27Speaker 5: him to do that. To play Robin to Trey Treil
- 10:31Speaker 5: average twenty five, he averaged twenty one. Where in this
- 10:36Speaker 5: did you formulate? And then I went back to realize,
- 10:41Speaker 5: like we always say, people motions. Yeah, if they don't
- 10:46Speaker 5: like a person or they don't like that you brought
- 10:50Speaker 5: that person. It's like Kirk Cousins never was given a
- 10:54Speaker 5: fair shot. It wasn't like the Falcons got him and
- 10:59Speaker 5: then people start disliking him, right, same thing with Matt Ryan.
- 11:05Speaker 5: You never know that they just chew you. You ain't
- 11:07Speaker 5: even you haven't even thrown a football. But because they're
- 11:11Speaker 5: in so disbelief that they even brought you here over
- 11:16Speaker 5: someone they felt like you should have got, Yeah, then
- 11:20Speaker 5: you never get a fair shape. Well, is that not
- 11:25Speaker 5: the truth of our sports working now and you're nothing
- 11:28Speaker 5: you can do can make you pay out.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But is that like I think a lot of times.
- 11:37Speaker 8: In this twenty four hour news cycle, anything you're saying
- 11:41Speaker 8: about people they consider as as worthy, Like so they
- 11:46Speaker 8: don't care about how it's affecting you as a human
- 11:49Speaker 8: or affecting your family.
- 11:50Speaker 1: They just will they talking about him.
- 11:52Speaker 8: And like you know, Caitlyn Clark, she's getting a lot
- 11:55Speaker 8: of criticism, but people go, oh, look at her valuation.
- 11:58Speaker 5: But the people that they love, they never show you
- 12:02Speaker 5: the other side of the coin. They just show you
- 12:06Speaker 5: the clips where Michael Jordan made the basket right. So
- 12:12Speaker 5: in your mind, he made every game winning shot right,
- 12:16Speaker 5: never lost the game. He never lost the game. Can
- 12:20Speaker 5: we name any Yeah, I can name a whole bunch
- 12:23Speaker 5: of games that he lost. I watched him. Oh okay, well,
- 12:28Speaker 5: I'm just saying it might happen. It might have even
- 12:30Speaker 5: called the bad Boys.
- 12:32Speaker 1: They showed. We'll be back to Sports show right after this.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Fast forward me twenty twenty three.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I'm stacking lots of cheese and making Monty my grass
- 12:43Speaker 3: is really green, and honestly, I can't even have no more.
- 12:46Speaker 6: This is a really dark time for me going through
- 12:48Speaker 6: a lot, John Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John

- 16:24Speaker 5: come around. Great weather here in Atlanta. Expect it today
- 16:27Speaker 5: in the mid eighties. The sun is peep peeking out.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Guys.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Since we last set and had a show, I went
- 16:36Speaker 5: down to Florida, back to my hometown area of Haines City,
- 16:40Speaker 5: Polk County, Lakeland, Florida. Ray Lewis, the Hall of Famer linebacker,
- 16:47Speaker 5: had event called the Ray of Hope. He's trying to
- 16:52Speaker 5: bring his community some love. He even discussed about how
- 16:58Speaker 5: he hadn't been in the community in a while and
- 17:02Speaker 5: he wanted to start giving back and touching and brought
- 17:06Speaker 5: to tears about his son, as we know, accidental suicide
- 17:12Speaker 5: last year or accidental overdose, excuse me, last year, young
- 17:18Speaker 5: son about I think it was about maybe twenty five
- 17:21Speaker 5: right in that ring, passed away, ran into Warren sap
- 17:26Speaker 5: Ray was there, one.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Of the pouncies.
- 17:33Speaker 5: I get him confused as Marcus and Marquee.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I get him.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Do you think they ever show up like Marcus made
- 17:40Speaker 8: the deal, but markeys you know, Marcus, like, I really
- 17:45Speaker 8: ain't in to move for Florida this weekend, and he's like, I.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Go, I haven't been around him enough to be able
- 17:51Speaker 1: to three times in my life to.
- 17:53Speaker 8: Be able to differentiate poozoo. Yeah, and typically I've been
- 17:58Speaker 8: around him twice together when they were together, and I
- 18:05Speaker 8: don't know it just half the people in their family
- 18:09Speaker 8: winging it.
- 18:10Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. Twin is a twin that's
- 18:14Speaker 5: everybody we don't know. I mean they look both they
- 18:19Speaker 5: both have gone on diets. See don't you get frustrated
- 18:25Speaker 5: by those twins dropped about forty five? Yeah, see the
- 18:29Speaker 5: identical twins that do everything identical.
- 18:31Speaker 8: You showed up in the same outfit and then that
- 18:35Speaker 8: one got their hair cut, so you went and got
- 18:37Speaker 8: the same here. Come on, man, stop that you used
- 18:39Speaker 8: to be the twin with dreadlocks. And now I can't
- 18:42Speaker 8: tell you.
- 18:42Speaker 5: For both of them about two sixty and I couldn't
- 18:47Speaker 5: you know if one of them has stayed, and you can.
- 18:48Speaker 8: But they both got like they got tattoos in the
- 18:51Speaker 8: same place and I'm not looking that close. Come on,
- 18:54Speaker 8: twin to be able to remember which.
- 19:00Speaker 5: And I was telling because I went went home my
- 19:03Speaker 5: mom lives down there, went to try to get us
- 19:06Speaker 5: something to eat up at the Popeyes.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And not not the one own where is the metropolitan?
- 19:17Speaker 11: No?
- 19:17Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm in Florida. Oh okay, one no,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I'm in Florida. And I go to the Popeyes.
- 19:25Speaker 5: It's maybe maybe two miles from my mom's home, three
- 19:28Speaker 5: miles at the most. And I pulled around at the
- 19:32Speaker 5: window down and I thought I was losing my sight
- 19:37Speaker 5: because I looked over. Don't get a combo twelve piece
- 19:44Speaker 5: and it said sixty dollars, and I was I was
- 19:52Speaker 5: confused for the combo, for the twelve piece combo.
- 19:57Speaker 1: No, lie, sixty thouars. Yes, to see that face make
- 20:00Speaker 1: it right now?
- 20:01Speaker 8: Wait wait now, wait now when we say comebo, this
- 20:05Speaker 8: is this is coming with the size and it's got
- 20:08Speaker 8: some other stuff I mean, but still sixty dollars.
- 20:11Speaker 1: We can just we just going to a regular restaurant
- 20:16Speaker 1: for the people.
- 20:17Speaker 8: Popeyes. I'm not saying y'are not a real restaurant. I
- 20:19Speaker 8: don't want any of that kind of correspond that love
- 20:23Speaker 8: that chicken. But I'm saying sixty dollars. We could go
- 20:26Speaker 8: somewhere where they have it was just certain. Come on,
- 20:33Speaker 8: as always, let people know a lot of my My
- 20:38Speaker 8: spending mind is principal principle, sir, and I can't just
- 20:42Speaker 8: let you fleece me like that at your convenience.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Come on, come on now, sixty dollars twelve pieces of chickens?
- 20:50Speaker 13: You do?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Man?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Real good? That up? How much is that perpiece pie?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Five dollars a piece of chicken? Yeah? Basically there was nothing.
- 20:59Speaker 5: It was a regular twelve piece with two sides, large size,
- 21:04Speaker 5: and four or five biscuits whatever that is.
- 21:07Speaker 8: See, and that's what I'm saying. Oh no, no, no, Apple,
- 21:10Speaker 8: five dollars per piece of chicken.
- 21:12Speaker 5: I came here, went to the Popeyes that's right around
- 21:15Speaker 5: the block from my house in Atlanta, and that same combo,
- 21:20Speaker 5: what's thirty four dollars?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Stop?
- 21:22Speaker 8: Okay, stop investigation. Now we're finishing somebody. Hold on now, no, no, no,
- 21:27Speaker 8: I'm saying now this is how people start getting sued.
- 21:30Speaker 8: Now you tell me what did they have more in
- 21:34Speaker 8: Florida that they didn't have here? Like was there like
- 21:38Speaker 8: one less side? Was it?
- 21:40Speaker 6: No?
- 21:40Speaker 8: Same exact combo? No, for about twenty six dollars less.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yes see. And now I'll tell you something that I
- 21:47Speaker 1: think is also interestinct.
- 21:48Speaker 5: They were they were doing, they were doing the island
- 21:51Speaker 5: prices must be maybe Florida. I haven't lived there in
- 21:55Speaker 5: a long time. Maybe they've gone.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Had some sort of Yeah, what ribbian pricing system? I
- 22:01Speaker 1: don't know.
- 22:03Speaker 8: Have you been following the stories of the grocery stores
- 22:06Speaker 8: who will put an item on the shelf for a
- 22:08Speaker 8: sale price, then when you get it to the register,
- 22:10Speaker 8: it rings up at regular price with the yeah, the
- 22:14Speaker 8: sticker that said the barcode is the regular price, right,
- 22:19Speaker 8: but with the price the number that they're putting on there, Yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 8: the number that they put on the shelf says ten
- 22:24Speaker 8: ninety nine. Then when you get up and you scan it,
- 22:26Speaker 8: it rings up at thirteen ninety nine. They've flagged the
- 22:31Speaker 8: stores that have done it, they've put them on notice,
- 22:33Speaker 8: and they're still doing it. Went And the only reason
- 22:36Speaker 8: I caught it is because I was only getting three
- 22:38Speaker 8: or four items. Two of the four items rang up
- 22:42Speaker 8: at regular price and charged me eleven dollars more than
- 22:45Speaker 8: I actually paid. You would not were I don't think
- 22:49Speaker 8: that has anything to do with it. I'm saying I
- 22:52Speaker 8: can steal, I can still count. I'm saying we even
- 22:55Speaker 8: got destructed with the details of the story. Now I'm
- 22:59Speaker 8: saying they acknowledge that they overcharged me by eleven dollars,
- 23:03Speaker 8: which the fact that I was high and caught it
- 23:05Speaker 8: was extra good for me. But I just thought it
- 23:08Speaker 8: was y'all have already been fined for this. You don't
- 23:11Speaker 8: want to fix it already, like you don't want to say, hey, man,
- 23:15Speaker 8: make sure the prices are right.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It's almost twenty six dollars cheaper. Did you tell the
- 23:19Speaker 1: Popeyes here? No, no, no, no, no. I don't have
- 23:22Speaker 1: conversation with with Popeyes. Yeah, we got to figure out
- 23:26Speaker 1: why they're doing it though, But.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Real hope if you see it, if you're in the
- 23:30Speaker 5: area of Florida, if you look it up, ray lewis
- 23:33Speaker 5: trying to impact the community, bring things back to central Florida.
- 23:38Speaker 5: And if you don't know Polk County, we are a
- 23:41Speaker 5: very rich, athletic county in Florida that puts out a
- 23:46Speaker 5: tremendous amount of talent.
- 23:48Speaker 1: That's why they charged so much for the chicken out
- 23:52Speaker 1: twenty two number one draft picks.
- 23:54Speaker 8: Living they can afford the sixty piece sixty dollars twelve
- 23:59Speaker 8: piece back more to Sports Show right after this, I'm.
- 24:09Speaker 12: A has a raptually chilling in the Balkans.
- 24:13Speaker 10: I feel your man.

- 24:30Speaker 8: And now a speech.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 24:35Speaker 2: heart and brain.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Who's with me?
- 24:38Speaker 14: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:41Speaker 14: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, somebody call.
- 24:44Speaker 8: Me a ride.
- 24:45Speaker 14: Love that guy, me too, know your buzzed warning signs,

- 26:49Speaker 4: How to do it with your sticking up our time?
- 26:54Speaker 16: What you.
- 26:57Speaker 8: Reform?
- 26:58Speaker 16: You know it?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Welcome back to this boy, Shock Shaw, I'm this boy
- 27:05Speaker 1: Shock Wing Candy.
- 27:06Speaker 5: Good morning to you out there in listening land, commanding
- 27:09Speaker 5: Greg Big Kenny in the studio. This Thursday, we do
- 27:13Speaker 5: know Oklahoma City and the Pacers will kick off the
- 27:16Speaker 5: NBA Finals. OKC, who has been and still has even
- 27:24Speaker 5: in the playoffs, looked like the best team this year.
- 27:27Speaker 5: One note on this series, I was reading it's the
- 27:31Speaker 5: first time in about twenty years maybe that the two
- 27:35Speaker 5: teams in the finals were not over the luxury tax.
- 27:41Speaker 5: So typically what that means is you have been making
- 27:44Speaker 5: the right trades and a lot of your draft picks
- 27:48Speaker 5: have panned out, hand out, yes, and like an OKC
- 27:52Speaker 5: and even you know when you look at teams and
- 27:56Speaker 5: it really is about that guy. Did the guy that
- 27:59Speaker 5: you think was going on change the franchise do that?
- 28:04Speaker 5: And say you go draft of Dwayne Wade like when
- 28:08Speaker 5: you shuffled the cards on him, did he change the
- 28:13Speaker 5: face of You know, Lebron changed the face of Cleveland
- 28:17Speaker 5: basketball to being a destination now now?
- 28:21Speaker 8: And I was going to ask, is it also not
- 28:24Speaker 8: just changing the face of the organization, but changing the
- 28:27Speaker 8: face of the organization for the better? Because in my opinion,
- 28:31Speaker 8: we roll the dice and the Hawks got Trey expecting
- 28:34Speaker 8: him to change the direction of the franchise. And although
- 28:40Speaker 8: he's gotten a lot of recognition, his performance and his
- 28:45Speaker 8: demeanor don't seem to have pushed the club forward as
- 28:50Speaker 8: far as maybe they hoped he would.
- 28:52Speaker 5: And some of that I think derives commands, you greg
- 28:55Speaker 5: from the sense that when I make that statement, is
- 29:00Speaker 5: not just the numbers. Yes, yes, it's the conveyance to
- 29:07Speaker 5: other stars. As I said, they want to come play
- 29:12Speaker 5: with me because that's how we're gonna really turn the
- 29:17Speaker 5: team around. Well, I'm gonna do me right, and I'm
- 29:20Speaker 5: gonna be Steph Curry. And then all of a sudden,
- 29:24Speaker 5: Golden State is a destination.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Place to go. Yeah, yeah, you know it's like now,
- 29:29Speaker 1: all of a sudden, I want to leave Miami and.
- 29:33Speaker 8: Where who does that? Who does that? But yeah, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 8: because can your star have that kind of magnetism.
- 29:42Speaker 17: But in this case though, with with both teams, they
- 29:45Speaker 17: made key trades and all a lot of people brought up,
- 29:47Speaker 17: Like the both teams traded Paul George and the stuff
- 29:51Speaker 17: they got back is basically the core of their team.
- 29:54Speaker 17: But also I think in Oklahoma City's case, uh, they
- 29:58Speaker 17: made a couple of key trades for role players. But
- 30:00Speaker 17: for the most part they have drafted really well for
- 30:05Speaker 17: the past five years. They made the trade for Sga
- 30:11Speaker 17: and he was a throw in in that Paul George trade,
- 30:14Speaker 17: but then they drafted well with all the picks they
- 30:17Speaker 17: got off of that. The Pacers kind of did the
- 30:19Speaker 17: same thing, getting Tyreese Halliburton, but then they drafted Miles
- 30:24Speaker 17: Turner and nim Hard and then they made a key
- 30:27Speaker 17: trade for Siakam. So it's not just a free agency
- 30:34Speaker 17: they've made a couple of key moves and they don't.
- 30:37Speaker 17: It's kind of maybe going away from well, the era
- 30:40Speaker 17: of the super team is over where you got to
- 30:42Speaker 17: get two three superstars on your team. You might just
- 30:45Speaker 17: need one and then another really good all star caliber
- 30:49Speaker 17: player and then kind of fill out the rest of
- 30:51Speaker 17: the roster with role players. Who will who are okay,
- 30:55Speaker 17: who are good with playing a particular role.
- 30:57Speaker 5: And I think the thing is the luxury attacks for
- 31:01Speaker 5: the NBA to me seems to get pushed when I
- 31:04Speaker 5: need to go get somebody else's superstar to be my
- 31:09Speaker 5: number two or three player. When I just when I
- 31:15Speaker 5: when I have when I drafted the first and second
- 31:18Speaker 5: guy and I only had to pay for the one guy,
- 31:20Speaker 5: I can stay under the cap. When I gotta go
- 31:22Speaker 5: find two other guys. Is when I start being over
- 31:27Speaker 5: the cap. When I when I look at basketball, it
- 31:30Speaker 5: starts being it starts being that. But you gotta have
- 31:33Speaker 5: at least two of your guys, Like if you're in Atlanta, Atlanta,
- 31:38Speaker 5: you gotta have Trey, and you gotta hope that Zachary, Yeah,
- 31:44Speaker 5: becomes something that those are your three guys and some
- 31:48Speaker 5: kind of way, you gotta hope they flow together here
- 31:50Speaker 5: in the next two years that you don't find yourself
- 31:53Speaker 5: back out looking so you can grab a Pascal Siakam
- 31:59Speaker 5: and just added to that. But when you keep having
- 32:01Speaker 5: to try and to find two of those three pieces,
- 32:07Speaker 5: it starts pushing the and and a lot of times
- 32:10Speaker 5: it seems really hard.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Yeah, and it seems a lot of times when they're
- 32:14Speaker 8: able to acquire those pieces is when the team that
- 32:19Speaker 8: already has them is experiencing cap space problems, like, you know,
- 32:25Speaker 8: we really need to get rid of this guy to
- 32:27Speaker 8: try and do what we're doing, but he's got a
- 32:29Speaker 8: huge contract, so who's going to pick it up kind
- 32:32Speaker 8: of thing, and so to acquire images. I think that
- 32:36Speaker 8: what you said about the super Team kind of coming
- 32:38Speaker 8: to an end will be something that a lot of
- 32:44Speaker 8: teams are happy to see go away because of how
- 32:47Speaker 8: restrictive it was financially. You had to go out and
- 32:51Speaker 8: find three You had to go get two other teams
- 32:55Speaker 8: superstars and pay them to come to your team, where
- 32:57Speaker 8: you already overpaying some superstars.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I think it's gonna take a shift. It's an over
- 33:02Speaker 1: correction comedy.
- 33:03Speaker 5: Yeah, And I think what you can get was just
- 33:06Speaker 5: like Boston and Greg hit on it, if your draft,
- 33:09Speaker 5: if you draft right and those players turn out, Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 5: they there was always super teams when you go back,
- 33:20Speaker 5: and a lot of those super teams they were mostly
- 33:23Speaker 5: drafted together. Yeah, you just you know, thought they were
- 33:28Speaker 5: not built like we started calling the super teams, they
- 33:32Speaker 5: were super teams. There was three or four of them
- 33:33Speaker 5: on the court together.
- 33:34Speaker 17: The Celtics drafted Bird, they drafted McHale, They traded for
- 33:39Speaker 17: Parish after his first year the league. So they and
- 33:43Speaker 17: that was their core for nine years. And you know,
- 33:45Speaker 17: you don't see the course say together that long. You
- 33:48Speaker 17: can draft it and it just has to pan out
- 33:50Speaker 17: in that era of time.
- 33:53Speaker 5: But we will see as Shay and haller Burton does
- 33:58Speaker 5: battle on theirsday night.
- 34:01Speaker 1: You think it'll be watched, like widely watched.
- 34:07Speaker 5: I don't know that these two teams have the I
- 34:12Speaker 5: think it'll be watched. I don't know if it will
- 34:16Speaker 5: be like a party.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Well, I'm saying now because this is the thing, both
- 34:21Speaker 8: of these markets will be all of their fans tuned
- 34:24Speaker 8: in together. Won't be the market share that just the
- 34:28Speaker 8: Knicks tuning in would have been. Just the Knicks fan
- 34:32Speaker 8: tuning in would have swept away all of the ratings
- 34:36Speaker 8: of Okase and Indiana combined. So for this, it's going
- 34:42Speaker 8: to have to be everybody, please watch this, just at
- 34:46Speaker 8: least the three minutes for it to register as a view.
- 34:49Speaker 8: You're gonna have to just please watch this, or you know,
- 34:52Speaker 8: we may have to start scheduling championships from here.
- 34:56Speaker 9: On now.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Yeah, and this could be where something like this long
- 35:01Speaker 1: break hurts them.
- 35:04Speaker 5: They were I don't have the star power to kind
- 35:08Speaker 5: of set it off like his own motion picture I.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Needed, you know what.
- 35:13Speaker 8: I thought it was interesting even with like they should
- 35:16Speaker 8: be playing tonight, right, even with Minnesota down as much
- 35:20Speaker 8: as they were. When they started advertising the finals, they
- 35:24Speaker 8: were showing ant Man in the finals. In the trait,
- 35:28Speaker 8: they was showing him dunking the NBA Finals coming, and
- 35:31Speaker 8: I was like, aren't they down like three to one?
- 35:33Speaker 8: You know, he may not be around for the NBA Finals,
- 35:36Speaker 8: but they're trying to get that draw and have people
- 35:40Speaker 8: watch it, and I'm not sure it's going to work
- 35:42Speaker 8: out that way.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:44Speaker 5: So interesting, but I think it'd be competitive. I think
- 35:46Speaker 5: the Pacers just have that feisty kind of team that
- 35:52Speaker 5: right now, that confidence and I don't know. I give
- 35:57Speaker 5: some of the credit the Pacers to Caitlin Clark, and
- 36:01Speaker 5: she's brought an energy to Indiana Indiana about playing that
- 36:06Speaker 5: seems to be on spilled over to the paper when.
- 36:11Speaker 8: We see each other out. We like a little championship team.
- 36:15Speaker 8: You know, we titleed town now we basketball city.
- 36:20Speaker 1: What what we got? Everybody winning, and you got that
- 36:23Speaker 1: with the Liberty too.
- 36:24Speaker 5: Like it's funny how that coincide New York Liberty and
- 36:27Speaker 5: the New York Knicks, both of them just a dominant
- 36:32Speaker 5: uh and giving you the Knicks just needed a bench player.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you mean a bench player that Thibodau would actually
- 36:39Speaker 1: play well well because a lot of times that is the.
- 36:47Speaker 8: The factor that we don't really understand is you had
- 36:51Speaker 8: the person you needed, but the system he was in
- 36:54Speaker 8: wouldn't allow him to serve his purpose.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Inside the NBA is over fro TNT. They officially ended
- 37:04Speaker 5: with the game the other night, but the inside the
- 37:09Speaker 5: NBA ESPN we'll start next year, so it's be the
- 37:15Speaker 5: same casting crew as far as I know, they actually
- 37:18Speaker 5: be doing this show. I think right here Steal in
- 37:20Speaker 5: Atlanta out of TNT Studios and they just will be broadcasting.
- 37:25Speaker 5: What changes how that will monitor them?
- 37:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:29Speaker 5: I would imagine if you're leaving it basically and just
- 37:33Speaker 5: sending the signal somewhere else and just a difference attributor,
- 37:38Speaker 5: it's gonna be the same show. So some people are
- 37:42Speaker 5: assuming it might fall off because it's on ESPN, But
- 37:48Speaker 5: for them to have the power to say I'm not
- 37:51Speaker 5: moving to Bristol. We're basically gonna send you a signal.
- 37:55Speaker 5: You know, we're gonna unplug TNT and we're gonna plug in.
- 38:00Speaker 8: U h F one and plugging into u h F
- 38:04Speaker 8: two and then yes, we're broadcast from there.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah. So I don't see any fall off of them now.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Was there.
- 38:13Speaker 8: Was there a stated reason that they're no longer with
- 38:17Speaker 8: tn T, but the there's a new TV deal.
- 38:23Speaker 17: That that came up. So ESPN acquired the rights t
- 38:26Speaker 17: n T and basically it was like a trade. T
- 38:29Speaker 17: n T traded inside the NBA to ESPN and t
- 38:32Speaker 17: n T will get some college football games, uh uh
- 38:37Speaker 17: going next season?
- 38:38Speaker 1: Okay, okay, because from what I'm from what I've been
- 38:43Speaker 1: listening and talking to people about, tn T is trying
- 38:48Speaker 1: to become more of a sports network, and to do that,
- 38:55Speaker 1: they had to expand into other regions.
- 38:57Speaker 8: Can't just be yeah, we're trying to get out of bootleg,
- 39:00Speaker 8: can get into more gambling anyway. So yeah, y'all go
- 39:03Speaker 8: ahead and handle that lit Wane business.
- 39:06Speaker 1: We'll be back water sports doc show right after this.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yams, look at me, look at me, you're looking I
- 39:23Speaker 3: taste good.
- 39:23Speaker 16: But I just had to read the.
- 39:26Speaker 6: John't Bowl Wayne board of the Sports joh Show with
- 39:29Speaker 6: Wayne Dambidio's coming up next.

- 42:03Speaker 16: Big j.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 42:07Speaker 5: I'm the Sports Shock Wing Gin the command pick Kenny
- 42:10Speaker 5: in the studio with me today. Over the last couple
- 42:14Speaker 5: of days, UH, former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunn has confessed
- 42:24Speaker 5: and been emotional about having some male stalkers, especially in
- 42:32Speaker 5: places like airports things like that where she is being
- 42:39Speaker 5: walking through crowds and when I saw it, and I'm
- 42:43Speaker 5: wondering because I know, the young lady seems like she
- 42:47Speaker 5: has tremendous upside in marketing. And this is just one
- 42:53Speaker 5: of the posted childs of the NIL world. I mean,
- 43:00Speaker 5: when you talk about the face of ni L, this
- 43:03Speaker 5: young lady has been the person who captured it. Was
- 43:08Speaker 5: able to monetorize it in a way where she did
- 43:14Speaker 5: it without being in the popular sport, right without necessarily
- 43:20Speaker 5: even being crown champion, right, dominant in a popular sport. Yeah,
- 43:24Speaker 5: And it was the way some people like myself, when
- 43:29Speaker 5: I people ask me, you know, why are you so
- 43:32Speaker 5: kind of I'm like, because in I L still doesn't
- 43:39Speaker 5: for what people at that time, because command you Greg,
- 43:44Speaker 5: Remember everybody was pounding the table for the athletes that
- 43:51Speaker 5: were actually winning right and playing equity in the sport
- 43:57Speaker 5: to get the love, and then we see.
- 44:01Speaker 1: How no it goes. Still we still are humans.
- 44:05Speaker 5: So the most popular, the most intriguing, the person with
- 44:09Speaker 5: the most compelling story, yes, the looks, all those kind
- 44:13Speaker 5: of things, the marketable person will be the person who
- 44:17Speaker 5: will dominate it. So you still throw thirty touchdowns a game,
- 44:21Speaker 5: but that don't mean that you are You're hide in
- 44:25Speaker 5: the person round. I mean you're gonna go hide in
- 44:30Speaker 5: the fifth round. But with Lily Olivia Dunn, she was
- 44:34Speaker 5: talking about those stalkers, you know, and I hope her
- 44:37Speaker 5: team and the only thing I can say to not
- 44:39Speaker 5: just her but any person because it can happen. It
- 44:43Speaker 5: typically is more of something that happens to women than men.
- 44:48Speaker 5: But you have to expect this.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Now we've talked about this, I know, in the last year,
- 44:54Speaker 1: about when you go and you start putting yourself out
- 44:58Speaker 1: there as something to desire, right and command, you make sure,
- 45:03Speaker 1: because you're our polling north, that you make a note.
- 45:05Speaker 5: I am not saying that it is in any way
- 45:10Speaker 5: the Olivia Donn or any person's fault for living their life.
- 45:18Speaker 5: But I would be wrong if I couldn't tell her.
- 45:22Speaker 5: When you start doing these Sports Illustrated, you're saying, gawk
- 45:27Speaker 5: at me, and some of that. People forget to leave
- 45:33Speaker 5: it at that. Well, you know, some people forget to
- 45:38Speaker 5: leave it at Okay, it's just now that don't mean
- 45:41Speaker 5: come over when you see me at outback right and
- 45:49Speaker 5: you know what, you know what I'm saying, just leave
- 45:50Speaker 5: it that you saw me in the Sports Illustrated on
- 45:53Speaker 5: the plane.
- 45:54Speaker 1: But but but now, no, no, no, no, And see
- 45:58Speaker 1: this is where the issue comes in with my boyfriend.
- 46:01Speaker 8: Now I get that boo boo, but I'm saying them
- 46:05Speaker 8: three hundred that's what every time I like your picture
- 46:10Speaker 8: and d M you, that's what I call you.
- 46:12Speaker 1: And that was just I'm saying. We do that every day.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I've been following you for six years. Boo boo with Paul.
- 46:22Speaker 8: Last year when you and her were going through that
- 46:25Speaker 8: thing where you posted that picture dancing with the other girl,
- 46:29Speaker 8: I thought she should have left you then.
- 46:31Speaker 1: But sir, listen, no, I've been I've been in your
- 46:35Speaker 1: relationship from the beginning.
- 46:37Speaker 8: Now you want to exclude me like we're gonna break
- 46:41Speaker 8: up over Paul See and that that's.
- 46:46Speaker 1: He's I am the man see. And this is the problem.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Remember when Colin Kaepernick, Remember when.
- 46:52Speaker 8: Lebron James made their political statements and they made their stances,
- 46:55Speaker 8: and everybody came at them and people were like, oh,
- 46:59Speaker 8: you know, they're just they ought to be left alone
- 47:02Speaker 8: to play ball. And people were like, no, no, Once
- 47:04Speaker 8: you put yourself out there, whatever comes with it, comes
- 47:07Speaker 8: with it. And everybody was like, that's right. And now
- 47:10Speaker 8: here we are again. But because the sensibilities are different.
- 47:13Speaker 5: But the key to me in this, guys, is that
- 47:18Speaker 5: someone like a Lebron James is not necessarily putting himself
- 47:23Speaker 5: on display, on display.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And see, this is the thing that's does She's saying
- 47:29Speaker 1: that people.
- 47:30Speaker 8: Have an unnatural attraction to her and a desire to
- 47:34Speaker 8: follow her around. But everything you post is sexualized. Everything
- 47:39Speaker 8: you post is enticing and titillating, and and everybody's responsibly
- 47:46Speaker 8: at that. You know, how you say drink responsibly, Again,
- 47:50Speaker 8: everybody is not. And so that's why I say it
- 47:52Speaker 8: isn't your fault. I'm saying, but this is one of
- 47:55Speaker 8: those things that you.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Have, is it not?
- 47:57Speaker 1: Though I'm saying, Now, this is the thing as an actor.
- 48:01Speaker 8: I go out and I'm in a role, and now
- 48:03Speaker 8: someone starts following me around, and look, I was just
- 48:06Speaker 8: I just played a clown in a movie, and you
- 48:09Speaker 8: thought the clown was cool, And now you're stalking me
- 48:12Speaker 8: and for some reason you've fixated yourself on me.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they call you Big Kenny, they call you whatever.
- 48:17Speaker 1: That clown's name is.
- 48:18Speaker 22: Right.
- 48:19Speaker 8: But if every day I'm out there with my shirt
- 48:23Speaker 8: off and you following me telling me I love you
- 48:26Speaker 8: with your shirt off, and I'm like, I want that
- 48:28Speaker 8: to stop, but I won't stop taking my shirt off.
- 48:32Speaker 8: That's are we not in cause and effect? And trust me,
- 48:37Speaker 8: I should be allowed to dress and be who I
- 48:40Speaker 8: want to, but I should also be aware that there
- 48:43Speaker 8: is a natural cost that comes with that.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Correct, And that's why I'm not I'm using this more
- 48:49Speaker 5: as a conversation or cautionary not just for Livvy done
- 48:55Speaker 5: yeah or the next Livy done. Understand, you have to
- 48:59Speaker 5: mentally prepare yourself for what you're creating as well. Yes,
- 49:04Speaker 5: and in this sense, especially when you talk about provocative clothing. Yes,
- 49:11Speaker 5: you're going to create this visual about you. Even you
- 49:17Speaker 5: see someone like a Pam Anderson now where she does
- 49:20Speaker 5: and no makeup. She doesn't do the glitz and glamour
- 49:24Speaker 5: because she talks about how she created this bot right
- 49:30Speaker 5: that every time she left.
- 49:31Speaker 1: The door, Greg needs to see her.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Right pushed up and tucked in, and she just wants
- 49:38Speaker 5: to go down the old foods and grab a couple
- 49:40Speaker 5: of bell peppers and come back home.
- 49:42Speaker 8: Dolly Parton says that's why she never goes out not
- 49:45Speaker 8: looking like Dolly Parton, because that's what her fans want.
- 49:48Speaker 1: They don't want regular Dolly. Right.
- 49:50Speaker 5: So, young lady twenty two, twenty three years old and
- 49:53Speaker 5: a lot of what men have only ever seen you
- 49:56Speaker 5: as because they know you more as a provocative bottle.
- 50:00Speaker 8: I ain't never seen you do a tumble day balance
- 50:04Speaker 8: men never, So hopefully she you know, all I think
- 50:08Speaker 8: she can do is to increase her security, try to
- 50:10Speaker 8: keep her plans of where and how and what she's
- 50:13Speaker 8: going to do to a minimum.
- 50:16Speaker 5: But and it's not her fault. We see it every
- 50:18Speaker 5: year from Aaron Andrews. It's just whenever you open yourself up,
- 50:24Speaker 5: you don't know how that person is going to see it,
- 50:27Speaker 5: and it gets some of them get lost in that
- 50:29Speaker 5: fantasy world.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Yes they do.
- 50:31Speaker 5: They start thinking like Big Kenny is alluding to, like
- 50:34Speaker 5: I own you, I know you. I've never met you. Yeah,
- 50:39Speaker 5: but you come into my house every night, every day,
- 50:43Speaker 5: all day. I'm following you.
- 50:45Speaker 8: I know where you are, I know what you ate today,
- 50:48Speaker 8: I know your skin regimen, all of that stuff.
- 50:50Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Job Show right after this.
- 50:53Speaker 23: I think it's going down.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Pressed there us.

- 51:58Speaker 14: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 52:01Speaker 14: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 52:05Speaker 14: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 52:08Speaker 14: with illiced drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 52:11Speaker 14: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 52:15Speaker 14: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 52:19Speaker 14: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 52:21Speaker 14: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go
- 52:24Speaker 14: to real deal on fentanyl dot com. This message is
- 52:27Speaker 14: brought to you by the Ad Council.
- 52:31Speaker 1: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 52:36Speaker 23: Center cord on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Don't never stop if you want to be on tip Yeah,
- 52:47Speaker 1: hell waste back baby.
- 52:48Speaker 8: Tap in in.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Caffe in diamonds. That's not your neck.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Better tap in ta cafe in getting money, get rich baby,
- 52:58Speaker 3: tap in tap in MBA, I think game, tap in.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Waste. I'm show you eight figure welk back.
- 53:11Speaker 5: To this one shock shop, I'm this war shock wing gay.
- 53:13Speaker 5: Good morning to you out there. We were making sure
- 53:18Speaker 5: that no one took any offense to us trying to
- 53:21Speaker 5: say something I was directed at Livy Don and people
- 53:27Speaker 5: that are stalking. Stalking can be created, but it's typically
- 53:31Speaker 5: fed a lot of times by how you deal with people.
- 53:36Speaker 5: And some people they don't leave the line. They blurred
- 53:42Speaker 5: the line, especially with this idea of social media. Will
- 53:47Speaker 5: you give people this ability basically can make you their screensaver? Yes,
- 53:54Speaker 5: you ain't never even met. They have read every bidio,
- 53:56Speaker 5: watched every picture. They really they.
- 54:00Speaker 8: Subscribe to exclusive content that you put out now your
- 54:06Speaker 8: exclusive contents, usually when you broadcast from more private locations,
- 54:11Speaker 8: giving them even more access to your life.
- 54:14Speaker 1: But they pay for this.
- 54:15Speaker 8: This isn't just the stuff that's free to get, and
- 54:18Speaker 8: we find ourselves. It used to be a time when
- 54:23Speaker 8: celebrities and influencers promoted products. Now people are the product.
- 54:31Speaker 8: You see what I'm saying, and it's hard to separate
- 54:34Speaker 8: those two. I'm still consuming I drink soda in the
- 54:39Speaker 8: middle of the night. You think people ought to stop
- 54:41Speaker 8: drinking at eight pm, But I'm up in the middle
- 54:44Speaker 8: of the night consuming mind.
- 54:46Speaker 5: So it's the same with all of the social media.
- 54:48Speaker 5: You almost have to at the same time to conquer
- 54:53Speaker 5: that run a real life social media.
- 54:58Speaker 1: This is what life really is.
- 55:00Speaker 5: To get people to humanize you again, because we are
- 55:05Speaker 5: even even when it's not about bikinis and all that
- 55:09Speaker 5: kind of stuff, when it's just you going out and
- 55:12Speaker 5: being an athlete or entertainer or a politician, anyone that's
- 55:18Speaker 5: in the limelight, people no longer remember you are also
- 55:23Speaker 5: somebody else that Your job is you now in our society,
- 55:29Speaker 5: your job is you. I want it all day. I
- 55:33Speaker 5: don't ever want you to not be in character. And
- 55:37Speaker 5: this is the thing wants you just to be Greg.
- 55:39Speaker 5: You got to always be.
- 55:42Speaker 8: And he's always got to be the commandchie Greg that
- 55:47Speaker 8: where I found him and developed alike for him. He
- 55:51Speaker 8: can't evolve up or down from that point. He's got
- 55:55Speaker 8: to stay the commanchi Greg that I like, because if
- 55:59Speaker 8: he doesn't, then I'll tell him in the most personal ways.
- 56:02Speaker 1: And people do that too.
- 56:03Speaker 8: I remember the first time someone came for me on
- 56:06Speaker 8: social media and called me corny and was like, you know, bruh,
- 56:09Speaker 8: you used to be funny, but now you bro, I
- 56:12Speaker 8: don't even know you. And he was talking to me
- 56:14Speaker 8: like you know, I had really wronged him, and I
- 56:18Speaker 8: was just like, Wow, that's just what this is about,
- 56:20Speaker 8: that people you never even know will come at you
- 56:23Speaker 8: like they've known you for years.
- 56:25Speaker 5: Terry Bradshaw having an issue with how Aaron Rodgers and
- 56:29Speaker 5: the Stellers are going about bringing Aaron Rodgers into the fold. Terry,
- 56:34Speaker 5: I know you're a little older, around mid to high
- 56:38Speaker 5: seventies at this point in your life, but this is
- 56:42Speaker 5: basically how Aaron Rodgers has treated the off season. Even
- 56:46Speaker 5: when he was in Green Bay those last couple of years,
- 56:50Speaker 5: he quietly storms into the off season to get an
- 56:55Speaker 5: official and full break. That's really how he is. Is
- 57:01Speaker 5: just and and you, Terry, have played long enough. I
- 57:06Speaker 5: played long enough to understand how once you get over
- 57:11Speaker 5: thirty five, the off season regeneration is slower. You are
- 57:18Speaker 5: less enthusiastic about doing anything extra.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Yeah, in a team way.
- 57:27Speaker 5: It's not a conditioning like I want run, but you
- 57:29Speaker 5: want to do your workout in Alcapoco. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 57:34Speaker 5: do it, but I'm gonna do it somewhere else. When
- 57:36Speaker 5: I'm off, I can relax and chill. That's kind of
- 57:38Speaker 5: where Aaron Rodgers has been. This is not just a
- 57:41Speaker 5: thing that he's doing. You know when he signed with
- 57:44Speaker 5: the Jets and roll the hoopla, how he was somewhere
- 57:49Speaker 5: and Joshua Tree and Vic Kenny was upset that they
- 57:55Speaker 5: leave without me. Last time I was there, there was
- 57:58Speaker 5: a what was it, oh or whateverone there and he
- 58:02Speaker 5: did it. He did it the last couple years of
- 58:04Speaker 5: Green Bay never like he will not die about it.
- 58:07Speaker 8: He's saying, yeah, he's never been on someone considering and
- 58:12Speaker 8: there's options.
- 58:13Speaker 1: He's just I'm not coming, and you know, I'm at
- 58:15Speaker 1: Joshua Tree. That's the thing now exact.
- 58:18Speaker 17: We talked about this last year with the voluntary mandatory
- 58:23Speaker 17: uh OTAs. But he's not He's not like, I'm not
- 58:27Speaker 17: on the team, so I don't have to be there.
- 58:30Speaker 17: So y'all abad it because I haven't signed anything yet.
- 58:34Speaker 5: But and he's intentionally because he understands I signed, then
- 58:39Speaker 5: you can saddle me yes with obligations. With these obligations,
- 58:44Speaker 5: but right now I can wait until late June and sign.
- 58:51Speaker 5: When all that stuff is gone, I'll be there with
- 58:55Speaker 5: training camp.
- 58:58Speaker 1: He's handling.
- 58:59Speaker 5: I mean, and you see, I am a his Green
- 59:02Speaker 5: Bay and all he did made him a Hall of Famer.
- 59:06Speaker 5: These last couple of years, he's just seeing if he
- 59:08Speaker 5: can gun sling himself into maybe another ring.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 5: I think that's really That's how I look at him.
- 59:15Speaker 5: He's just gonna and this probably be his last year
- 59:18Speaker 5: most likely, but he's just, hey, maybe if I can
- 59:21Speaker 5: gun sling myself catch the right team. We'll never know
- 59:26Speaker 5: if that first year of the Jets were the team
- 59:28Speaker 5: because he got injured.
- 59:29Speaker 8: Because he got injured, and I think that, and I
- 59:31Speaker 8: think because of that, people are willing to take a
- 59:34Speaker 8: chance and see how it goes with this because based
- 59:37Speaker 8: on his Jets performance, what we had surmised here on
- 59:41Speaker 8: the show was that he was still trying to see
- 59:44Speaker 8: if he could that coming back injury. That performance is
- 59:47Speaker 8: just trying to see if I can plant, Just trying
- 59:49Speaker 8: to see if I can move laterally and it support
- 59:53Speaker 8: my weight kind of thing. So the Steelers are probably
- 59:56Speaker 8: thinking he'd probably at least got one in him and
- 59:58Speaker 8: if he can gun sling it. Then even for half
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: the season, we're much better than we would be without it.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: In the Middle Yell in the Middle in the.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Don't Go Awayne Born of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Wayne Gandy is coumming up next.
- 1:00:28Speaker 22: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:00:31Speaker 22: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:00:33Speaker 22: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 1:00:37Speaker 22: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:00:40Speaker 22: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:00:43Speaker 22: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:00:46Speaker 22: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:00:50Speaker 22: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 1:00:53Speaker 22: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:00:56Speaker 22: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:00:59Speaker 22: father that I who it could be. I think just
- 1:01:01Speaker 22: being that good role model as well, that model's good
- 1:01:05Speaker 22: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:01:08Speaker 22: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:01:11Speaker 22: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:01:14Speaker 22: and watching your kids be happy.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Never stop being a dad. That's dedication. Find out more

- 1:01:38Speaker 8: for me, excuse me while I whip this out.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia. This is a sports show
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:01:51Speaker 16: You may.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: Counsel comes, I'm yeah, I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Welcome back to the spy Shock Show. I'm the spoy
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there and
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: listening land. It is Juna. Summer is here. We are
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: a couple of weeks away from the NBA Draft. We
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: got the NBA Finals starting this week. Uh the French
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: Open is going on now. I think this is the
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: second week of the French Open. Uh So, summer sports
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: are here. W n b A is going They're in there.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: What is their cup called Commissioner's Cup. Commissioner's Cup. Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: it's there in season. Uh so you got that going on?
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: Uh So forwards baseball, Like I gotta get back so
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: I can start talking about baseball. I haven't really watched it.
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: I know they're about seventy games in something like that
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: at this point. So still looking like I'd love to
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: get that Yankees Dodgers back in the World Series. Did
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: you see any of that over the like be intrigue
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: of it. I saw Show You Go Deep in one
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: game twice.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that.
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: You got your finger up the Church finger. I was
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: wondering and watching some coverage of the French Open. They're
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: not building it as the French Open anymore. It's like
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: the Roland Garrows Tennis tournament or something like that that
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: they've been calling it.
- 1:03:45Speaker 17: Well, that's where it's called there. It's like, we it's
- 1:03:51Speaker 17: still the French Open, but that's that's more like that's
- 1:03:54Speaker 17: the location, like at.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: Right and so on the guide when you're searching, it
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: says the Rolling Garrows something coverage. Yeah, so, and I
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: was I thought that they had changed brand names or something,
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: but it's just, you know, everybody so technical.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: It used to just be the French Open. Yeah, you
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: just be the French Open, the French Open. No matter
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: where you were watching it from. You could be watching
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: it in Roman garrels and they just called it the
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: French with the uh.
- 1:04:21Speaker 17: In golf, the we you know it as the British Open.
- 1:04:25Speaker 17: But now it's just called the open like it's still
- 1:04:28Speaker 17: in somewhere in Great Britain or Ireland or Scotland.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: And I'm quite sure that I mean Roland garrals Is
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: because remember I'm hiring specialists the key shaping the business model.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Yeah, to produce money.
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: Yeah, so okay, we we kind of beat the horse
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: to death with the French open, right, but we can
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: sell some of these Roland garrels hold on sweaters.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: We then moved it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: We can brand it like the masters. We can I'm
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: saying the products now we can focus on that. It's
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: almost like Lebron James changing numbers. Players have changed numbers
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: on the same team because okay, that was the top
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: seller last year. Now I'm gonna make number six the
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: top seller. The NBA changes colorway because they want you
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: to have to buy a different jersey. Yes, because you
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: keep rocking that same old magic Johnson. So I'm gonna
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: try to build a way to make it seem like
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: you old doing that.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Yeah. So I'm gonna make it a purple and pink night.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: And it's just a way.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: And I looked at that on the thing, I'm like, oh, okay,
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: they're trying to make sure that brand of that title
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: of it has gotten lost.
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: Yes, that's that's my grandfather's tennis tournament, the French Open.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: That was Roger Felt.
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, but now right, you know, like Coco Golf
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: is playing in the roller because we are into a
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: new group of Kenney's era.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Yeah, there is no more Venus and Serena.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: There is no more Rafael the doll and federal h
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: No Vak Djokovic is at any moment. Can tell you
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: that's a rap. So you'll be on close the book
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: on one era and it will be the Coco Golf
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: and the young man from it was Carlos Alvarez from
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: Alcaraz from Spain, is about twenty one, twenty two years old.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: Right there, he's marketed as the new Roger Federer, I
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: mean Rafael on the doll.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: So I think that with that you have to switch
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: it up.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: And I am always because a lot of probably just
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: knew it as the French Open and never realized where
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: it was at, and so many of us, so I'm
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: never getting anything off of my building or you know, right,
- 1:07:05Speaker 8: we just talked about Terry Bradshaw and a lot of
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: what he's probably experiencing with this Steelers Aaron Rodgers process
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: is just a generational disconnect, like we never did it
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: that way back then. And if a business is to
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: remain relevant, they have to change with the times because
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: again when we think French Open, we think Mace and
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: Roe and Serena, and that time is gone and not
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: coming back. So they've got to attach it to something
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: that people will follow.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: And with Aaron Rodgers, it's just as I was saying,
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: this has been his pattern his last four or five years. Yeah,
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: and when you start getting up into age, I was
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: fortunate enough to play tiol I was thirty nine. It
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: is a different way of trying to figure out how
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: to get back to it, and relative the off season changes.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: What you do change is in the off season the
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: timing of how you try to get in shape. And
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: these are some un That's why you can't judge Lebron,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: James or Tom you can't really do anything on these.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: These people are in places that we haven't seen. These
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: are some mythical ages of you know that of yesteryear
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: where it was just one or two guys. Right now
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: we got a whole legion of quarterbacks who all hit
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: forty and still think they got game left there's still
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: break off and run for the first down, and then
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: somebody makes some stupid Oh he can't move around in
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: the pocket. No, he can't do sixty three years ago,
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: he won't be doing any pocket moving.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Man. He didn't even try to get out of that tackle. No,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: he did not.
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: If he did, they're gonna pull his hip out. He
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: has to protect himself more than any thing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: At this point.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: He can't take that sat. He has to be very
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: deliberate in everything that he does. That that's what it is,
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: you know, And you're still looking for the twenty five
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: year old version. Aaron Rodgers to me since that game show,
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I always told you since we've been on air, if
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: that what was Jeopardy Jeopardy had given him that job,
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: he would have left three years. He would have never
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: went to the Jets, and they gave it to Jennys.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: If they had gave him that four or five year
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: just if it was just he would have went that route.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Yes he would. But since you didn't give it to him,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: he was, you know, and y'all going to give me
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I'm not gonna leave this thirty five million dollars on
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: the table because who would so and it's worth it
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: for him. So I don't know.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: Terry Pittsburgh boxed himself in where it's either him or
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: who do they go get.
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Back Mason Rudolph who don't just because we just because
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: we haven't heard of him doing anything back to the
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: steel because he got to play the Browns again. And
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: Miles Geart is still over there. He was upset about that. Uh.
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: Some Major League Baseball players their families and and really
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: is just the last part of this, and it just
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: seems to be jumping hopscotching around to all kinds of
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: sports where families of sports players are having to deal
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: with threats online. As sports betting surgeons. We couple conversations
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: about this and it will continue now that basically every
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: sport has infused the idea of gambling and gambling big gambling,
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: often gambling on your phone at the stadium in the
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: third you know, it's no more that you got to
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: place the bet before the game. It can be intermission,
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: it can be the seven inning stretch and commands you
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: still want some action.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Gonna see how long we stretch that taken under.
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: Ronald o'coona is gonna hit a home run his neck,
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: I can place that right now three hours into the game.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, he's already hit one, but now it's a new one,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: like he can get over under one point five hole
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: rudds Oh, he's gonna hit another one.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: Because that's the thing, you know, it's not about being oldly,
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: it's just to watch evolution of stuff where it used
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: to be every day had to be place. Everything had
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: to be all bets in, all bets, No more bets,
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: no more bets.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: What does he say, play ball? That's it?
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: Yeah, all the bets place, and we go, we have it.
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: We're in the middle. This is the second out in
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: the eighth. I bet it's third will be from eighteen
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: feet out. And you know, and that is amazing how
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: it had gotten that intricate.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: But I think those old schoolers can't even speak the
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: genre anymore, Like I don't know, Yeah, we got.
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: The nine to nine to five spread on yeah see
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: and three unfortunately with the under over with the two
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: what and and I just wanted to bet you Jets
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: falcons man, yeah, ten bucks that they lose. This is
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: the thing I think the families get involved is it's
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: the old intimidation factor. If I can't get to you
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: I'll get somebody that matters to you. And you know,
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: these leagues have started uh in acting laws and legislations
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: and rules and regulations that protect the players and restrict
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: the fans' access to them. But your kids still on Instagram,
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: your kids still on social media. And I found him
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: or her, I found a relative of yours. And now
- 1:13:16Speaker 8: I'm telling I can't believe this dude missed that layup
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: in the I mean, you know, it was three hours
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: into the game, but they let me put a parlay
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: on his lay up and he missed it.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: And now y'all in trouble. He had eighteen points.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: I bet he was gonna finish with twenty two points,
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: and he went oh for eight in the last seven minutes.
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: But see up to halftime, I said he was only
- 1:13:42Speaker 8: I had him for just like twelve seventy dollars, messing
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: around with him in the last call. So now I'm
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: mad at the refs too.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: He won't go to the.
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: If I'd have just put down for them to win,
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: I would have won. But all of that parlaying he
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: messed me up. We'll be back waters forts shot show
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: read after this.
- 1:14:10Speaker 12: Yeah, while we wiggle le Brown look at them than.

- 1:21:35Speaker 8: hear her name, and she was a comedian and i've
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: seen her. The stand up I have seen is what
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: I would call supergirl comedy. Yeah, okay, yeah, I'm more
- 1:21:46Speaker 8: like Greg. I've heard the name here more recently, but

- 1:23:27Speaker 1: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:23:30Speaker 24: When I was forty, with a kid in college and

- 1:24:22Speaker 23: player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Whoa whoa whoa? Young man? What's the jump?
- 1:24:36Speaker 11: You man?
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Whoa whoa.
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: Whoas Queen, it's the jump, Hope, I've been going for
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: a minute.
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Now I'm back at the Jump's in the club case.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: I'm jumping back up for the hob of the pump floor.
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: Welcome back to this boys shock show right around here,
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: trying to get something going that thirty eight start cleaning it, but.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: All on nothing on the clicking. Can't something jump off?
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: You know what I mean?
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: You never know. You never know. This church, it happens,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: it happens. Did you bring gun on to the church?
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: Kind of life you need? You make some bad life choices.
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: The devil is busy. He's the devils. You're making bad
- 1:25:30Speaker 8: life choices. If you got to go to the church
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: with your gun, No, with gun oil, you need to
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: get it. Just keep it all up. I mean, you
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: never know past to be looking shifty. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: Now he can be staring at me like he want
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: something I don't know. Uh.
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: In that last segment, I was trying to tell you
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: that I saw a story where Jahen was arrested here
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: in Atlanta, the R and B crooner, uh went Fulton
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: County Court after animal cruelty.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: He was being cruel to some dog.
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: I guess the old I didn't even enough food or
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: something for or I guess maybe he's one of those kind.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Of owners that got dogs living here, but he living
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: in LA Yeah.
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: Maybe the neighbors. It didn't sound like it was one
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: of those hidden hitting hitting the dogs, right. It sounded
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: like nosy neighbors, like commanchee all in my window.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Man, I barely go outside. It wasn't me. He's driving,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: you know, well I know that.
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: And some people would just say that those laws are established.
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: So you know, the nosy neighbor would try and tell
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: you that they were just being advocates for uh fair
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: treatment of pets, Like you got it locked up at
- 1:26:55Speaker 8: your house, at least you could do his feet.
- 1:26:56Speaker 15: I was.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: I thought I'd be back in two days. It I did.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Then they added the day to the show glazer and
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: you know how to go, you know, how know, you know,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: I go next thing.
- 1:27:11Speaker 8: You know, we a Joshua tree with air rods. And
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: the dog's been alone for three days. So I mean,
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: you know I'm coming back schedule. That's all.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: That's all it was. I am in court. He was
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: tied up.
- 1:27:23Speaker 17: The dog was tied up to an r V at
- 1:27:27Speaker 17: a small parking lot, so everybody, so everybody saw it.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: So you can't tie your dog up.
- 1:27:40Speaker 17: Wait now, you can't just like leave it there tied
- 1:27:44Speaker 17: up for hours, hours and hours with no water and food.
- 1:27:53Speaker 17: Hold on, now, why was Jahim's motor home in the
- 1:28:01Speaker 17: mall at the Pocket lot?
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: In the pocket lot at the mall just he breast break.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: He was on tour and then.
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: And he just left the dog outside. He didn't want
- 1:28:15Speaker 8: to leave the dog inside the motor home, and that
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: seems a little bit.
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: Well, he probably wanted to make sure he didn't. He
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: used the restroom inside the motor home somewhere. I guess
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: you know how long he's gonna be gone?
- 1:28:31Speaker 8: Well, I think if you stop at the mall, you
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: kind of have a broad idea. I mean, you know,
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: we have a ballpark. Figure out how long I'm gonna
- 1:28:38Speaker 8: be at the mall. Well, it could have been an
- 1:28:40Speaker 8: impromptu thing. I didn't think I was going. I thought
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: it was gone. I decided to swing by the mall
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: real quick, and I asked no. I tell people all
- 1:28:48Speaker 8: the time one of the reasons that I'm not a
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: pet person because I'm not going to make those type
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: of adjustments right for the dog. I'm not gonna cut
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: a trip short if I want it to go longer.
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: I'm not about to run home because I need to
- 1:29:09Speaker 8: drop the dog off. I'm not going to shorten my
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: time watching the game. I'm not gonna do anything. The
- 1:29:17Speaker 8: dog would have to be paying bills for me to
- 1:29:19Speaker 8: do those things now, one thing out for me. Some
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: people are that whole I'm leaving town. I gotta drive
- 1:29:25Speaker 8: across town to the babysit right right and se sports shock.
- 1:29:30Speaker 8: This is the one thing that and again people who
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: advocate for animals.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: I have a pet.
- 1:29:36Speaker 8: And the one thing that I'm constantly telling people about
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: pets is don't get them if you're not gonna make
- 1:29:42Speaker 8: the commitment, because they're like having kids that never grow up.
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: Like kids at some point can learn to fit for themselves.
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: They can cook, they can wash their own clothes, they
- 1:29:51Speaker 8: can not unlock the door if someone comes, you know
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: what I mean. A pet, for as long as you
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: own it, everything that this pet gets it has to
- 1:30:01Speaker 8: get from you. So all of that shortening vacations and
- 1:30:05Speaker 8: sometimes not even being able to go because nobody's able
- 1:30:09Speaker 8: to keep the dog or the cat.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: And it happens all the time.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: Stephan Diggs, who is now with the Patriots. A two
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: years ago he was with Buffalo, then he went down
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: to the Texans. Now he's in with the New England Patriots.
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: Right now, situation still is until I see something new.
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: The possibility of Stephan Diggs being cut based on an
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: incident where he was on a boat on last Monday
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: from correct on Memorial Day, where he looks like he
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: was hosting some people and was distributing or at least
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: advising the usage of a pink substance that was in
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: a bag. It would take Big Kenny Comanche to educate
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: us on what that possibly be for Stefan and what
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: kind of party favor they think that was. It was
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: a pink powder and a bag and something pink powder,
- 1:31:19Speaker 5: pink peel.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: It's a.
- 1:31:23Speaker 17: It's it's clear bag as pink cocaine, but it's not
- 1:31:31Speaker 17: exactly cocaine. It's a synthetic. It's like a combination of
- 1:31:37Speaker 17: ketamine and m D M A. It may have cocaine
- 1:31:41Speaker 17: in it, but it's like other things.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: Oh see which is I thought he was going to
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: say it's a combination of vitamin B and some caffeine,
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: but no ketamine and m D m A still is illegal.
- 1:31:56Speaker 8: Oh yeah, that makes it better, I'm saying and seeing
- 1:32:01Speaker 8: Those are the kinds of details you don't want to
- 1:32:03Speaker 8: come out in your defense, like.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: Oh no, man, I wasn't doing cocaine. It was just
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: kiddamine and oxy coat on and M D M A
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: mixed with cocaine, oh, with cochine Okay, and died pink?
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Wait see see see why did I need it? Pink?
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: And they talking about suspending him God bless America. Well,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. They don't have.
- 1:32:25Speaker 17: It's it's an aesthetic thing, okay, and younger like by
- 1:32:33Speaker 17: like how something looks.
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: No, they had to do that with the devil, not
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: the devil with the pickled eggs. Yeah, the first pickled
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: eggs they usuedd eave them clear nobody wanted. And then
- 1:32:42Speaker 5: and then why it didn't have a funness to them,
- 1:32:45Speaker 5: But the pink brought it fun for the younger and
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: sit at the bar.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: It was more of a draw your eye over to it.
- 1:32:53Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: So even trying to explain the people that it's really
- 1:32:56Speaker 5: just some boiled eggs that they put in vinegar, the
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: pink makes them think it's something exotic.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: Yeah, like the chicken must have been. I'm saying.
- 1:33:08Speaker 8: But and when it comes to M D M A
- 1:33:11Speaker 8: ketamine and oxy codon mixed with cocaine, you don't need
- 1:33:16Speaker 8: no extra stuff to go with that. You don't need
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: like no fun colors. It's cocaine and NDA and oxy
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: coton and ketamine mixed together. That's that's the top of
- 1:33:28Speaker 8: the roller coaster. Riot sports Jack, I'm telling you we
- 1:33:31Speaker 8: don't need any flashing lights to go with that. So
- 1:33:34Speaker 8: if they caught this man with that stuff and it's
- 1:33:36Speaker 8: been identified at that.
- 1:33:38Speaker 5: Well, they have a video of him entertaining some guests
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: that he's talking to about how they should use it.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Get on. Yeah. Yeah, he's like, don't take too much.
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: And we've all we've we've all been caught on video
- 1:33:52Speaker 8: given instructions on how to use drugs. He doesn't say
- 1:33:55Speaker 8: that he used it, you know what I'm saying, given
- 1:33:56Speaker 8: instructions on how to use it, like I not. They
- 1:33:59Speaker 8: just a little piece of this DNC. How you feel, Well,
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: that's a while. Take another piece.
- 1:34:05Speaker 5: And that's the question of how the NFL, how the
- 1:34:08Speaker 5: Patriots and they can drug test him. If he is
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: not in his system, then what do you hold him
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: on that he was in the vicinity And then you
- 1:34:19Speaker 5: got to go to the collective bargaining agreement.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: I don't know. The vicinity is a crime possession.
- 1:34:24Speaker 17: But he's an international waters they don't have any jurisdictions.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I was an international. I'm glad somebody came up
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: with that one because I was to be suspended.
- 1:34:34Speaker 8: I thought I was to be suspending, But then you
- 1:34:36Speaker 8: say international waters and we're gonna go with that.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of like you know, mvelzlement and murder
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: and starting game. And it couldn't have happened at a
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: better time. You see what I'm saying, because he wall,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: come on, man, I get pardoned for that. Yeah, it
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: ain't a real crime.
- 1:34:52Speaker 16: Crime.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: So we will see stuff. Just signed.
- 1:34:55Speaker 5: And the Patriots need him, I mean, the receiving core
- 1:35:00Speaker 5: they had last year was ineffective. He's a big name player,
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: big talent used to that division. That's one of the
- 1:35:08Speaker 5: things where you get those kind of guys used to
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: playing up there in that cold weather, and they really
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: need him on the field. But we know how the
- 1:35:17Speaker 5: Patriots are, or they used to be. He would already
- 1:35:22Speaker 5: been cut with Bill and that just.
- 1:35:25Speaker 8: Being on a boat, that's what I'm just being on
- 1:35:29Speaker 8: a boat with some pink power with it could have
- 1:35:32Speaker 8: been Jared said that was Strawberry Quick. It could have
- 1:35:35Speaker 8: been Strawberry Quick, and they just still got rid of
- 1:35:38Speaker 8: him because the people Strawberry Quick. I guess, I guess
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: that's what we finished. Stepan us that like man, that
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: just strawberry Quick.
- 1:35:48Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:35:49Speaker 8: I used to like those schools Strawberry Quick. I never
- 1:35:52Speaker 8: thought about that. They still make that in powder form.
- 1:35:55Speaker 8: IM sure in the powder. I know they make it
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: in the you know everything is already the pre made.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, still in the and like the can.
- 1:36:03Speaker 8: Okay, steph On, somebody text to step On, go with
- 1:36:07Speaker 8: the pink pink quick and see if Stephane ain't with
- 1:36:11Speaker 8: no people. He with a group of women people. He
- 1:36:14Speaker 8: was just out on the boat no sunny day. He
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: got the little straw packet with it. He's drug I'm
- 1:36:23Speaker 8: not trying to snitch on him or not, but I'm
- 1:36:24Speaker 8: just saying from from a glance, game recognized game, he's drugs.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Got at Druss just looked like the last two weeks.
- 1:36:32Speaker 8: We've been off sports show, I didn't go. I didn't
- 1:36:36Speaker 8: know international waters. But now that I got that, I'll
- 1:36:39Speaker 8: use it.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: What they say, darts tummy some money? How about this?
- 1:36:54Speaker 6: Don't go awayne board of the Sports John Hill with
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: Wayne Gambia's coming up next.
- 1:37:00Speaker 14: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,

- 1:39:38Speaker 16: Its wings, oh log An, so you can see the
- 1:39:52Speaker 16: sports joint.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: I'll sing even.
- 1:39:55Speaker 5: Jenny welc back to the boy Shock Show, the spoy
- 1:39:59Speaker 5: Shock Win came the good Morning Big Kenny comand you
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: Greg in the studio today doing the break. Big Kenny
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: says that that is the reason Stefan catches those gold routes,
- 1:40:12Speaker 5: yacht sunny day, bag full of drugs. Chef down there
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: cooking some lobster champagne.
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: That's why.
- 1:40:24Speaker 8: That's why you did all the workouts. Yeah, and then
- 1:40:27Speaker 8: somebody went, hey man, you got that bag of drugs
- 1:40:33Speaker 8: and he thinks I thought that they couldn't get any better,
- 1:40:36Speaker 8: but you're right, I do have a whole bag of drugs.
- 1:40:41Speaker 8: And everybody got excited when he said it, like all
- 1:40:43Speaker 8: bag of drug job.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: Over in Paris. Two fans are dead, one police officers
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: in a coma, and this is all a result of
- 1:41:02Speaker 5: a celebration for the Paris Saint German Historic Championship League victory.
- 1:41:09Speaker 7: This is.
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: What happens after the soccer matches sometimes. And the thing
- 1:41:16Speaker 5: I when I was reading the story, I was wondering
- 1:41:20Speaker 5: in these cases and it's just a conspiracy theory because
- 1:41:23Speaker 5: one kid, seventeen year old boy was stabbed to death,
- 1:41:27Speaker 5: and it started me to think, do you think sometimes
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: people use these celebrations to mass crime.
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: Well, I'll tell you that people who are determined to
- 1:41:45Speaker 8: perpetrate crimes like that search for those types of events
- 1:41:52Speaker 8: to insert themselves into because it'll do the most damage,
- 1:41:56Speaker 8: it'll have the most profile in terms of cover in
- 1:42:00Speaker 8: the media. It allows them to blend better because you know,
- 1:42:06Speaker 8: if you're on a regular street going the wrong way
- 1:42:11Speaker 8: on a one way street and it's not a festival,
- 1:42:13Speaker 8: somebody notices right away. But if it's a festival, then
- 1:42:16Speaker 8: you see something like that. The first few people who
- 1:42:19Speaker 8: notice are go, boy, they really celebrating. They out there
- 1:42:22Speaker 8: on that pink powder. You know what I'm saying. They
- 1:42:23Speaker 8: going the wrong way, They'll let it slide for a minute,
- 1:42:26Speaker 8: So I think, yeah, they definitely look for this kind.
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: Of The police officer was accidentally hit by fireworks. I
- 1:42:35Speaker 5: guess he must got hit in the back of the
- 1:42:37Speaker 5: head or in the head area. Oh excuse me, it
- 1:42:40Speaker 5: says in the eye. They put him in deuce coma.
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: I guess he must have some.
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: Swelling in that area. They need to put him in
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: a coma for better healing. But two people are dead,
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: and it's just when these celebrations happen. It's just the fans,
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: especially we've seen over the years in these soccer matches.
- 1:43:09Speaker 8: I wonder do you think with the advent of social media,
- 1:43:13Speaker 8: it used to be that fans, being derivative of fanatic,
- 1:43:18Speaker 8: did things. They you know, would slide down poles, they
- 1:43:22Speaker 8: would turn over cars, that kind of stuff. But now
- 1:43:25Speaker 8: with social media, do you think that some of them
- 1:43:28Speaker 8: are vying for viral moments. I'm going to go to
- 1:43:31Speaker 8: the highest point of the light pole and try not
- 1:43:35Speaker 8: to fall and kill myself. I'm going to punch a
- 1:43:37Speaker 8: horse while people are filming. I'm going to pick up
- 1:43:40Speaker 8: horse waste and eat it in front of a camera.
- 1:43:45Speaker 8: I don't know if you'd have done that had the
- 1:43:46Speaker 8: camera not been there, because then there's nobody to go,
- 1:43:49Speaker 8: oh wow, that was crazy. But now that we have
- 1:43:52Speaker 8: these cameras. Otherwise I'd just be shooting my fireworks in
- 1:43:56Speaker 8: the air. Now you're filming it, I'm gonna shoot it
- 1:43:59Speaker 8: directly at a cop because somebody will get that on
- 1:44:02Speaker 8: film and it'll make me somebody. And they've enacted laws
- 1:44:08Speaker 8: now that if you injure somebody during those kinds of
- 1:44:11Speaker 8: things trying to go viral, you can be punished with
- 1:44:15Speaker 8: more strict and enhanced penalty.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just.
- 1:44:20Speaker 5: And I guess it all kind of goes together for
- 1:44:23Speaker 5: me and COMANCHI Just what just happened to coming to
- 1:44:28Speaker 5: the game and cheering and booing and going home. Yeah,
- 1:44:33Speaker 5: just in this you see trying to be I mean
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: literally every day, even in our country, at some sporiting event,
- 1:44:43Speaker 5: there's a fight.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: It's a brawl. Every day there's some fight. And it
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: doesn't matter what level it can be. It can be
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: a bunch of sixth graders or six year olds ye,
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: or sixty year olds playing pickle ball. Somebody gonna get
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: the beat down today June second, today at a sporting
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: event in this country. Yeah, somebody don't.
- 1:45:11Speaker 8: I can't tell you where I thought you was, just
- 1:45:13Speaker 8: that the little tennis complex watching pickle ball, and here
- 1:45:17Speaker 8: go Unk and Grande the square off and now they
- 1:45:23Speaker 8: getting it.
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: It's a slow fight, but it's.
- 1:45:25Speaker 5: A fight, and it's just so what happened the sportsmanship
- 1:45:30Speaker 5: of it, because to enter the contest and to lead
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: the contest, win or lose in a mature, respectful way
- 1:45:41Speaker 5: was just as important as anything else that happened.
- 1:45:45Speaker 8: But you have to be taught that that has to
- 1:45:47Speaker 8: be passed down to you. That that lesson is missing
- 1:45:50Speaker 8: from the book now. I mean, they still teach you stuff,
- 1:45:53Speaker 8: so I don't have to come over and shake your hand.
- 1:45:55Speaker 8: But no, no, please get in line. No, we're gonna
- 1:46:01Speaker 8: we're gonna ball our fence up though we don't. Don't
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: worry about tapping the gloves though if.
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: We lost it.
- 1:46:07Speaker 8: No, let's just do the handshake line. Come on, come on, yeah,
- 1:46:12Speaker 8: I'm finna give you a gut.
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: Boe caught it.
- 1:46:15Speaker 8: He thought we finished sake hands and not and caught
- 1:46:17Speaker 8: him in the line. You mean the player punched, No,
- 1:46:19Speaker 8: the coach punch somebody.
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: Good Win man good win good Win. That I caught
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: his hand out. I thought you were finna attack me.
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: Bro It caught you lacking protect yourself at all I said,
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: you won.
- 1:46:33Speaker 8: I'm just coming over to tell you you're supposed to
- 1:46:35Speaker 8: protect yourself at all time. And and they're like, you're
- 1:46:38Speaker 8: supposed to protect yourself at all times? And you're like,
- 1:46:41Speaker 8: but this is tennis.
- 1:46:42Speaker 11: You know what?
- 1:46:43Speaker 8: When was I supposed to put my guard up in tennis?
- 1:46:46Speaker 8: And that's to shake hands? No, no could down.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: It could go down. Lose a wrestling match.
- 1:46:52Speaker 8: If you want to and come out here to shake hands,
- 1:46:55Speaker 8: you'll get knocked out. We've seen that the coaches are
- 1:46:59Speaker 8: punching people, the players are attacking people after the game.
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: So where's those sportsmanship? First?
- 1:47:06Speaker 5: The first key to all sports used to be that
- 1:47:10Speaker 5: everybody is gonna stand on sportsman sportsmanship, which meant how
- 1:47:15Speaker 5: we go into this and how we go out. We're
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: gonna go in with some respect and we're gonna leave
- 1:47:19Speaker 5: with some respect. Those used to be the two elements,
- 1:47:22Speaker 5: and the battle in between was just whatever it became.
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: Now that I mean, we're all right, it doesn't even
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: start that way.
- 1:47:31Speaker 22: Now.
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: Now people won't look at it, won't touch each other.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: This is a vile world.
- 1:47:35Speaker 22: Man.
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: We'll be back more to sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:47:39Speaker 7: How dim we can't have them, so make me want
- 1:47:41Speaker 7: to go up with the beat of the magnum watch
- 1:47:44Speaker 7: applause and growing by juntments from the queen. Punishment is
- 1:47:47Speaker 7: the fiya. I'm here to make these fools out of liars.
- 1:47:50Speaker 7: You must learn to step and respect the siak.
- 1:47:56Speaker 6: Don't go Awayne Bred of the Sports Johns Hill with
- 1:47:59Speaker 6: Wayne Game videos, dummy up maxt.
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: life insurance.
- 1:48:14Speaker 24: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:48:16Speaker 24: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:48:18Speaker 24: forever life insurance.
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:23Speaker 24: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:48:25Speaker 24: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:48:27Speaker 24: survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 1:48:29Speaker 24: the insurance.
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Informant.
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:48:36Speaker 24: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:48:38Speaker 24: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you

- 1:50:09Speaker 1: to the Sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:14Speaker 23: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:50:17Speaker 23: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on

- 1:50:40Speaker 8: I rocked the.
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: Party that rocks the body. You rock the party that
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: rocks the body.
- 1:50:45Speaker 7: I rocked the party that rocks the body?
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: You rock the party that rocks the body? And what's
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: your status?
- 1:50:52Speaker 15: Happy?
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Walk back to this sport Shock Show.
- 1:50:54Speaker 5: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candye Zion Williamson once again
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: in the news. Young man who still has time. He's
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: only twenty four years old, has plenty of time to
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: write another narrative to his story. Very effective player when
- 1:51:15Speaker 5: he is in uniform. There's no denying that his issue
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: and his first three four years of his career really
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: is centered around his weight. That has been a conversation
- 1:51:31Speaker 5: his ability to be available to play. He has missed
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: a lot of games in his short career and his
- 1:51:44Speaker 5: interaction with the opposite sex off of the court, from
- 1:51:50Speaker 5: what they would call ex girlfriends baby mama drama all
- 1:51:56Speaker 5: the way up to now being accused of rape lawsuit
- 1:52:01Speaker 5: by an ex girl friend. Now, some of this we've
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: talked about, and I it's hard to try to put
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: one label, one face on it, but I guess sometimes
- 1:52:14Speaker 5: when I read the cases, I do believe that the
- 1:52:19Speaker 5: law is correct. I don't believe that rape should ever
- 1:52:24Speaker 5: be something that there is this statue of limitation to
- 1:52:30Speaker 5: me great murder. I don't think, oh, it's twenty twenty years,
- 1:52:35Speaker 5: you can't bring that back up. No, I don't believe that.
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: I do believe, like in some of these cases where
- 1:52:41Speaker 5: we now let people still get away with the whole
- 1:52:44Speaker 5: Jane John Doe might need to be looked at because
- 1:52:51Speaker 5: in some cases, as we have seen a lot of
- 1:52:54Speaker 5: this is that they're trying to use that the ability
- 1:52:58Speaker 5: of being able to accuse you impacts your life just
- 1:53:02Speaker 5: as much regardless of whether I win or not.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: Right, can you take that hit to your reputation, to
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: your brand, to your brand?
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: And that's how social media and the Internet and everything
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: else has kind of really put a different angle. When
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: it was thirty years ago, when this social media wasn't here,
- 1:53:32Speaker 5: it was just some kind of local around the dorm
- 1:53:35Speaker 5: in the city, very few people might even get around
- 1:53:38Speaker 5: to hearing the story. But now I can throw something,
- 1:53:42Speaker 5: I can threaten you to throw something out there that
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: can you. And we've seen a couple of cases where
- 1:53:48Speaker 5: like a Shannon Sharp had to admit that, hey, I
- 1:53:53Speaker 5: was trying to like see if I He didn't say
- 1:53:55Speaker 5: he did it, but he was weighing which more cost effective, right,
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: Like the tobacco company. Yeah, tobacco company, they do saying
- 1:54:05Speaker 5: we give you cancer. I'm just saying, here go one
- 1:54:07Speaker 5: hundred and eighty three million dollars. Yes, in case something
- 1:54:10Speaker 5: happened to you. We we make seven billion a year,
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: We spend a billion and a half in lawsuits, and
- 1:54:20Speaker 5: we take the other five and a half its profit. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:54:24Speaker 5: I guess y'all gonna have to deal with that. Can
- 1:54:27Speaker 5: That's kind of how they're doing the cost analysis with
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: Zion in this case. When I saw that, it's like, okay,
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: unless you're under eighteen, maybe we need to address that. Okay,
- 1:54:40Speaker 5: if you're gonna put me out here, your name needs
- 1:54:43Speaker 5: to go next to it, and so that we both
- 1:54:47Speaker 5: are in this public scoop.
- 1:54:48Speaker 8: And I think it's interesting that that used to be
- 1:54:51Speaker 8: one of the foundations of the legal system. You had
- 1:54:56Speaker 8: to be able to face your accusers your accusers unless
- 1:54:59Speaker 8: it was some sort of secret indictment, and there was
- 1:55:02Speaker 8: fear that through some sort of organized crime network you
- 1:55:06Speaker 8: could have some retribution enacted against you.
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: It was never.
- 1:55:12Speaker 8: This person can just make allegations and let all of
- 1:55:16Speaker 8: this play out in court without ever having to come
- 1:55:18Speaker 8: forward and be recognized. And now that is the standard,
- 1:55:22Speaker 8: it seems with these cases. I think sensibilities have allowed
- 1:55:28Speaker 8: these victims to assert that these people could and would
- 1:55:35Speaker 8: and might harm them or have networks of people that
- 1:55:38Speaker 8: are willing to do that.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: Kind of stuff to them. And again, I think some
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: of that is a stretch at best for.
- 1:55:43Speaker 5: A lot of it, And it's just the thing comanche
- 1:55:46Speaker 5: as we adjust a lot of things to the modern
- 1:55:48Speaker 5: times that you are we supposed to before any of
- 1:55:52Speaker 5: this information comes out, Should we just find Zion Wilamson
- 1:55:58Speaker 5: guilty or innocent? Like should you be allowed to hit
- 1:56:04Speaker 5: somebody and hurt their reputation right before we have our day.
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: Our day in court.
- 1:56:11Speaker 8: Might have to be addressed at some point because, and
- 1:56:15Speaker 8: that's what I'm saying, Sports Jack. I thought we already
- 1:56:17Speaker 8: had talked about this. This this it used to be
- 1:56:20Speaker 8: called slander, it used to be called what was liable.
- 1:56:24Speaker 8: That's that's what I'm saying for for you to come
- 1:56:26Speaker 8: out and go, hey, look, bick Kenny be out here
- 1:56:29Speaker 8: just drugging and sexing every time he get and he
- 1:56:33Speaker 8: done beat up my girlfriend and you don't have any
- 1:56:38Speaker 8: proof of that, then me and you in court and
- 1:56:40Speaker 8: I'm as suing you for defamation of character.
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: Now the standard is you can say that and not
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: even have to say it as yourself. You can be.
- 1:56:53Speaker 8: Victim X or you know, person a and and still
- 1:56:58Speaker 8: make these allegations. So I think there's going to be
- 1:57:01Speaker 8: an overcorrection coming soon. I just don't know from which
- 1:57:04Speaker 8: direction it's going to come.
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: UFC Hall of Famer Bjpen And I'm bringing this up
