"HeadPhony" was written and produced for a film project I'm a part of. This track utilizes some of my favorite types of guitar riffing, which is the use of semi-tones to create what I call off-set notes. Players like Van Halen, Vai, and Satriani use these all the time, but I like to go deep with them and create moving main theme guitar hooks. What I mean by moving, is this song's main guitar riff is all over the fret-board, beginning at the 2nd fret and ending at the 10th.
