- 1:31SPEAKER_01: I am so thrilled to have you with us today.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: We've got part three of Daniel Schuller, the uh life coach who's helped so many folks, 1,200 clients that had had just a lot of breakthroughs and a lot of positive transformation.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: And we're going to talk about some of those phenomenal outcomes today on It's a Grand Life.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: And this is part three of the series with Daniel talking about how you coach grandparents who are raising their grandkids.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: I hope you found the first two segments absolutely uh riveting.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: And I hope you if you miss them, please go back and catch part one and part two.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Uh I absolutely appreciate Daniel so much of the work that he's done in the space that we're in.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: But now we're gonna talk about some outcomes.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Daniel, what what are some of the folks you've worked with that you've had phenomenal outcomes that I just uh uh I think you're gonna really be blessed when you listen to today's uh uh podcast.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: And just and again, thank you so much for joining us on It's a Grand Life.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: This is a show for grandparents who are raising their grandkids, and you're really in for a treat today.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Pathways to transformation.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: That's the subject today, and let's talk about some good outcomes with Daniel Shuler, life coach from Austin, Texas.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Just stay tuned, and here's part three.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I know you've had a training with the Winship Group as well as the other folks you've talked to.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I so I actually have I I mean I did identity exchange on my own about five or six years ago, but I haven't I haven't done uh anything with them uh personally.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Um but you're familiar with their um uh their separation worldview and the connected worldview.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Do you get into any of that uh work when you're meeting with folks?
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Um truthfully, not really.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: I have, I think one of the other things is in my years of coaching, I suppose, I have adopted a lot of different pathways to find transformation.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: And what's cool is I've actually learned from certain clients new methods.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: So I'll be in the middle of a session, I'll say something, ask something, or do something.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And I'll think to myself, wow, I don't know where that came from, but I really like that.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And so then I start using it and I'll test it for a little bit, and then you know, the next 10 or 15 clients have these great transformations, and I'll say, okay, this is one of my new tools that I use.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: But it it really is again, it's just this case-by-case basis when it's one-on-one coaching.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: When it's with a group, they'll always tell me what they need.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: They'll say, hey, we need to get better at communication.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: We need to get, you know, we need, we need more camaraderie in the office.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: We need to change the way we show up for each other.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: The C, you know, the C we feel very far from our boss and we don't know what to do about it.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: The teams are having strife.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: How do we so sometimes I'll come in and do a just a blanket identity seminar, but a lot of the times, you know, they'll just say, hey, we need you to come in and tell us how to communicate better.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: And so I'll give a communication workshop.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: You know, and I might embed a couple Trojan horses in there where, you know, the reason this is happening is because one of the first things we do is we've we learn how to separate.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: When I walk in, you guys have already analyzed me.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: You guys have already decided what you think about me because of how I look, how I carry myself, how I talk.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: And it's not and it's not bad or good.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: It's just the default.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: But what is your default allowing you to experience?
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: When you heard that there was a communication workshop today, did you was the first thing that you thought, I don't need to work on my communication?
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: What have been some of your best outcomes with clients?
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: I had one the other day or a couple months ago.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: He's a professional soccer player, and he's seen multiple sports psychologists over the years.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: He's had an eight-year career, and we went through a session, and he's a believer.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And so we just did it, it was it was cool.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: It was like this 40-minute session, and he's a little bit smaller, uh, size-wise.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: And so obviously, one of his false beliefs is he's scared of getting physical because this, that, and the other.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: And we do a session, and then a week later he scores in a game and he's doing great, and he sends me a message and he says, you know, I can't thank you enough.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: This is the best I've ever played in an eight-year professional career that I've had.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 6:16unknown: Yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: So that was really cool.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: But even small things like, hey, I don't get anxiety around this anymore.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Or, you know, I used to be really attached to this behavior that I didn't like.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And, you know, now I'm not.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, there have been times where there are relationships that are getting ready to end, marriages that are struggling, not a ton.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Um, because I don't obviously promote myself as a marriage counselor, but I've I've had couples come to me before, I'll have a husband come or a wife come, and then they bring the spouse, and you know, they say, Hey, you saved our marriage, or you strengthened our our dynamic, or whatever it is.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: And so there's not really, you know, and then there was another 11-year-old kid, he was a soccer player as well, and he had been afraid of slide tackling for about five years.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And he hadn't slide tackled anybody in five years, and you're you need to because that's how you play defense.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: And so I did one session with him, and he slide tackled someone the next day, and it was just immediate, and it's not always the other thing is with this kind of work, it's not always cause and effect, there's not always immediate experience, but it's always immediate revelation where you're where you go, oh, now I know that when I feel this way, it's because I'm remembering this thing.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: That's where the work starts.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: But it's all about being tied to false beliefs.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: You said that before we went on the air today, and that's you know, you keep going back to that.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: You've got to rewrite the false narratives and discover the belief systems that are holding us back.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: Whether you're an 11-year-old soccer player or a professional, it's the same thing.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: And and and I think, you know, one of the questions that might come next is, well, Daniel, how do I know this belief is false?
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: How do I how do I know that this isn't true?
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: And the and the question I would ask them is, well, is the belief you currently have, what what is the belief you currently have allowing you to experience?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Does it allow you to experience joy and progression in who you are, or are you at the mercy of your circumstances and what people say about you and you're allowed to experience anxiety, guilt, and shame?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Because truth, the truth will set you free, and it is for freedom that we have been set free.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: And so if the belief that I have is not freeing me, then it's not then it's not a true belief.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: It's that false narrative, right?
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: So you have to uncover that.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: How long does it normally take for you to uncover a false narrative with a typical client?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Less than an hour.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, you discover you discover it and I mean you can discover in a couple minutes.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Because it's it's not the discovery that's the hard part, it's it's obviously the once you discover it, what do you do?
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, great.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Now I have this false narrative that I know is controlling my life.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: What do I do now?
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, again, it's just these questions of, and if someone's wanting to do that, listening to this, going, okay, Daniel, I hear all of these theories, what do I do today?
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: I would just say, look at look at your life right now and how you make decisions, how your decisions are affecting what you are experiencing.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about outlying circumstances that are out of your control and other people saying X, Y, Z, or you know, you can't control if your boss fires you or not, or whatever it is.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: But when you look at your autonomous day-to-day condition uh decisions, do you go to the gym or not?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Do you communicate in a loving manner with your spouse or not?
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Are you constantly fighting with your kids?
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Are you constantly avoiding the tasks that you said you were going to do?
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: You have to ask, and it's not that you don't want to do them.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: You do want to do, you want to do all the things you say you want to do.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: You don't say you want to do something because you don't want to do it.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: But there is something in that moment that is more important to you than completing the thing that you said you want to do.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: And that's what you go, that's where you go, what do I believe in this moment?
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: So the example that I'll give, the easiest, the lowest hanging fruit, I guess, if you will, is a fitness one because that's pretty, you know, pretty standard.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: I can have every intention, desire, motivation, whatever it is, to go to the gym and get in shape.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: And at the same time, I can also want to eat ice cream and pizza and sit on the couch all day.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: So if I say I want to go to the gym and get in shape, and I'm on the couch every day eating ice cream and pizza, it doesn't mean that I don't want to go to the gym.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: It means that I have decided that the desire I have for this ice cream and pizza in this moment means more because of what I've defined this to mean.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: So if pizza and ice cream equals comfort, and comfort in this moment is more important than growth, even if I want growth, I will choose comfort.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: So then I have to redefine what comfort is, and I have to redefine what growth looks like.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Because if someone wants to get in shape and they go, oh, it's because I want to look good and they're not going to the gym, the reality is they don't want to go to the they don't want to look good.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: That's not enough.
- 11:51unknown: Right.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: That's what would be motivated.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: What would looking good allow you to do?
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess it isn't about looking good.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, what would being in shape allow you to do?
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Well, play with my grandkids or play with my kids, and they're still not going to the gym.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: So we're we're like, okay, you're not, it's not that you want to look good, it's not that you want to play with your kids.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: What else is there that when you're in shape, what could you do, well, I could finally feel confident in myself and fit in my wedding dress or fit in my tuxedo or whatever it is.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And that's not enough either.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: So you just keep working your way until you find the thing that clicks, where it's, oh, this is what it means.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to the gym.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm showing an example to the younger generation.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And that has a lot higher drive than just wanting to look good.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: It's it's a bigger motivator, right?
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: And that is the so you have to redefine comfort and grow and determine what folks believe.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: It's all it really doesn't matter if you're running a corporation or you're a grandparent raising your grandkids.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: You you have to get folks to to tell the truth about what they believe and and and what and what and determine whether that's real or false or perceived helping them or hurting them.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Now, do you Daniel in in your um coaching, do you ever use the imagination and go to a favorite place with any of your clients?
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, sometimes I'll do that.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: It it depends on where we're at, but yeah, the the place of peace, the the place of serenity, um where I'll just say, Where's the fair, where's the where's your favorite place that you've ever been?
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: And it's so cool watching people change when they go there.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Like their whole body relaxes, and they go, Oh yeah, so I was in Greece, and there was this garden, and there's this beautiful plot, and they go in such crazy detail.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: And I just get to say, okay, so since we're already there, you know, and it's a safe, now they've created a safe space to explore how we bring their struggles into that place.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: Because that's where they're that's where they hear truth.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: They're gonna hear the truth there, and then from there they get to bring it in, and then you go, hey, how long did it take you to get to that place?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, about three seconds?
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, you can go there anytime you want.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Anytime of day, anytime you want.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: You just close your eyes and you go to your secret place and you ask conditional, you ask unconditional love, you ask Jesus, you ask your higher power.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: What do you say to me in this moment?
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: When I'm starting to believe this lie, what do you what do you say about me?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: And that's the that's it's it's a really it's a really beautiful thing because another thing I would encourage everybody to do, you experience the meaning and the definition that you have of things.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: And so if I I use this example at our thing last week, if I get a wife, and I think all she is, is beautiful and a cook and a baby maker, that's all she's gonna be.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Not because that's who she is, but my definition has limited the way that I get to experience the fullness of who my wife is.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: I will experience God based off of my definition of him.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: Not because that's who he is, but because who I believe he is is limiting how I'm able to experience him.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: And so one of the things that I actually work with a lot with people as well is their false beliefs around God.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Because in all honesty, the way people experience their life is what they believe about themselves, what they believe about God, and the dynamic they believe exists between that diet that relationship.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: That's uh and so you could be meeting with a client and talking about corporate personalities or corporate culture, but you could end up talking to them about their false beliefs about God.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: Is that in our culture, is that a more sensitive topic than others that you bring out, or are people pretty comfortable sharing those things with you?
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: They're with me in particular, people are pretty comfortable.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: I think what's so interesting is when we start talking about God, we're not really talking about God, we're talking about religion.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And the fun part that I get to do, they'll say, Oh, well, God is this, or whatever, and I'll just say, Oh, where'd you learn that?
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: And I'll say, Did you learn that at church by any chance?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: And they'll say, Yes, or no, I learned it from a pastor.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: And I'll say, Okay, so are we using a place and a person to determine who God is?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I said, have I'll say, Have you ever asked God what he says about that?
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Because I can tell you, my God doesn't believe in that either.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: So without you knowing it, you have a biblical worldview.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: In the Bible, it says the word of God is written on every heart, right?
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Every heart.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: So there's these people that believe in the universe because they bel the only reason someone says the universe and not God is because of who they think God is.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: And they think if I say God, that means this about me and I'm not that kind of person.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: And so when they they look into that, and you know, they'll they'll I'll I'll they'll say, Well, I have a problem with hypocrites, like these Christians that say I said, you know who else has a problem with that?
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Jesus Christ.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: That's the that have you read his ministry?
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: So I'll tell it, it's fun for me to tell people, I'll say, you know, you might hate to hear this, but you actually have a very biblical worldview.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: They have a like nine-pound, 10-ounce baby when you say Yeah, because the very because the very person you're trying to avoid is the person you resemble.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: And it's a beautiful thing.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: So when people, I'll say, hey, this isn't about religion, this isn't about church, this isn't about pastors, this isn't about any of that.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: This is about a relationship with Jesus Christ.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Not as an essence, not as a theory, but as an experiential person that we have relationship with.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: And in the Bible, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, anytime the word K N-O-W is used in relation to how we can know God, it's the same word that's used when a man and a woman consummate, when they come together.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Adam and it's Genosko in the Greek and Yada in the Hebrew.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so Abraham knows Sarah, Adam knows Eve, and he knew his wife, and they conceived.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: So what happens when that happens?
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Two become one.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: And that's not a religion, that's not a building, that's not a pastor, that is an invitation to relationship and oneness.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: So I'll get these people, and their belief about God is accurate because of their definition, but the definition is inaccurate.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: That's the problem.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: People's worldview is very aligned, are very people's worldviews are very aligned with their definitions.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: The problem is most of their definitions are false.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: I see.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: So do you when you identify folks that really have a biblical worldview as opposed to what it says in the scriptures, as opposed to religion, how do they react when you call them out like that?
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: When you identify them, it just depends.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: If if I'm friends with them, I'll say, hey, you know what's kind of funny?
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: And they'll say, What?
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: I'll say, You actually sound a lot like Jesus.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: And they'll go, ah ha ha, that's funny.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, seriously, it's actually, and I'll say this is really cool for me because all the things you struggle with are the things that Jesus came to get rid of.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: Jesus came to get rid of religion, fulfill the law, and create a relationship.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: You don't like all of the things that Jesus came to condemn.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: He literally stood in front of the Pharisees and their students and said, You are a brood of vipers.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And you don't like hypocrites.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: I don't like hypocrites.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: And we've both been hypocritical.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: So how do we how do we resolve that conundrum that we have now?
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: You don't like the things that Jesus doesn't like.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: You do like the things Jesus does like, but for some reason, you saying you believe in Jesus, there's resistance there because of what you think it would mean about you.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: So what do you think it would mean about you if you started saying you believe in Jesus?
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: What would that mean?
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And where did you learn that?
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: What do they what do you get when they when you ask them that?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Depends on how deep in the conversation we've been.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Uh, there are some people, and they'll say, I honestly have no idea because I've never thought about it that way.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Some people will say, I guess it would mean that I'm a Christian and I don't like Christians.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: And then I'll say, What don't you like about Christians?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And then they'll maybe say, Oh, they're hypocritical, they think they're bigots, they think.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yeah, those people suck, huh?
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: I agree with you.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: They're pretty bad.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: And then again, I'll say, you know who else didn't like those people?
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: It's Jesus.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And so it's it's more of a playful invitation rather than I'm not trying to convert them in that moment.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: I'm just planting the seed of like, hey, have you ever considered read just for fun?
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Have you ever considered not looking into Christianity, not looking into pastors or sermons, but just going directly to God because you can't?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: See what that's like.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: And either do or don't, but just know that's an option.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: You know, and then another kind of fun exercise I'll do with people is I'll say, okay, let's say every single religion is false, all of them, but you have to pick one.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Here's your options.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: You can go with the religions that say, as long as you do enough, you might make it to some better afterlife, but you won't know what enough is, and it has to be good enough according to whoever the person that established what good is is, but you don't know in this world.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: So you have to you have a lot of pressure your whole life to perform, to do all of these different things in the hopes that maybe someday you can achieve whatever it is or reincarnate as something better and you keep reincarnating and whatever.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Or you can believe in the religion that says the God, if there is one, we're assuming that there is one for this exercise, that the God who created the entire universe, in his power and ability and deity, personified himself as a human to live an entire life of perfection, willingly give himself up to have the worst possible torture known to man, take on every bad thing you've ever done in your entire life, give it to his father, who is also him, and all you need to do is believe that that happened and do your best to live according to what he says is the way to live.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Where there's no everything you need you would have needed to do has already been done for you.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: So instead of having to earn a right, all you have to do is receive a gift and be a good steward of it.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: I don't care what religion that is, I'm doing that one.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: And it just so happens to be Jesus Christ in Christianity.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: No other religion on the planet offers a gift.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: There is no other religion or person that offers the promises that Jesus does because you can only promise something that you can deliver.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: 100% true.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: And in your in your coaching, are you seeing a change in how people think of religion?
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I heard one time that Satan is the author of religion, but God is the author of relationships.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: Are you seeing folks kind of back off of being with this group or that group and just really want the pure unadulterated uh faith in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit?
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm it might not necessarily be in my coaching because sometimes we don't always get there.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: But definitely in the in my culture, in my generation, I'm seeing people start to realize, and again, this isn't demonizing all churches and all pastors, etc., etc.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: But the reason people are getting let down is because they have put pastors and churches as the pedestal and the and the idol.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: And shocker, idols fall.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Mankind is sinful, and a church does not uphold what it's supposed to do.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: And even the Bible, the Bible is not the cornerstone.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: It's Jesus Christ.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: And so when we start to build a foundation on a book, a place, or a person other than Jesus, we will be let down.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: And so it's you know, and it I'm seeing people realize time and time again, oh, I just have a big problem with religion.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, dude, this is him.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: So stop using this excuse of religion to keep you from pursuing the person.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Like you are just affirming all of the things that Jesus did.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: You are you are like your belief of religion is just asserting the fact that that you need relationship.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: And it and that's where the love, joy, and the peace is.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: I have to tell you, our time has flown by today.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: And I thought I said, Oh, yeah, we're gonna go 15 minutes.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: He said, maybe in another world.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: But um uh Daniel, I'm really hoping that we can do some work with some grandparents who are raising their grandkids, and I could just see you in front of a lot of my friends' groups and working with their grandparents and walking them through their false narratives.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: And and uh I just um just very thankful for all your time today.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: And uh absolutely thank you for having me.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Um, how does that sound?
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: Well, maybe we'll we'll take a run over to San Antonio sometime.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's do it.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Let me know.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: I'm there.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Uh that sounds absolutely great.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: And um, but uh thank you so much for all your time today.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: And I want to do this again if we can, or if you have any new um uh looks at this.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: In fact, I I um we may even want to talk about having you chat with our small group.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: I would I mean, I think that would be absolutely wonderful.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: I think they would love that.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: But uh um if so for our folks that have tuned in today to the show, how do they get in touch with you if they want to do any of your Zoom coaching?
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: Because you can chat with folks all over the country.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: What's the best?
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: And do you have a website at all they could um yeah?
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm really active on Instagram.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: I know that's not uh you know ideal for some people, but it's just my name, Daniel Schuler, S-C-H-U-L-E-R-R.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And then my website is Danielshuler.net slash home.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: And that's S-C-H-U-L-E-R-R.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Correct.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, the website has a sort of a qualifying, you know, it'll say I'm ready for my breakthrough.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: So you can fill that out, set up a uh a calendarly like intro call with me.
