- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 0:02SPEAKER_03: The time has come.
- 0:04SPEAKER_03: Where do we start?
- 0:06SPEAKER_03: We're starting with a joke quickly.
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: See someone today.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: I'll talk to Tilly's later.
- 0:12SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: Tom Pyatik.
- 0:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's all you say.
- 0:17SPEAKER_03: Statement, the end of last season.
- 0:20SPEAKER_03: To the players and staff, thank you for your efforts across a demand and season.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: The bar has been raised.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: Now it has to go higher.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: That is the challenge, and that is the standard we must embrace.
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: We are not here to stand still.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: The work has already started to review, improve, and make the decisions needed to move this club forward.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: Every decision will be made with one clear goal: giving Color United the best possible chance to be successful and giving our supporters a team they believe in.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: So, over the weekend, after that disastrous shambles of a result, which we're going to go massively into, I decided to speak to some agents who have been involved in some of the moves here or involved with the board, whoever's been doing recruitment.
- 1:06SPEAKER_03: I've talked to ex-players about it, I've talked to journalists, and I've talked to businessmen who have been in and around the club.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: So from an outside perspective, looking in and gathering all our thoughts, this view basically culminates as this.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: And I can't disagree.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: What the outside public have seen is that Americans have rocked up with a massive fanfare and a media buzz, promising championship football, training ground complex to be completed, big signings, etc.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: We have seen and heard this many times from people in and around football coming over and doing that.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: Some get it right, many don't, which is fair enough.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: So what we have seen from the American family at Carlisle United, unfortunately, is two relegations in now our worst ever position in the club's entire history.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: Four managers, two sacked after huge backing in a transfer window, literally days after the manager gets the transfer on the shot.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: So he assembles his squad and then get shot of him.
- 2:18unknown: Yep.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: An agent told me, who I spoke to, a couple of agents told me that during that time in the last 18 months, Carlisle have been known and was certainly known 18 months ago as a soft touch.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: Get your players in, get a wage for a drop, big, big wage for a drop in level.
- 2:35SPEAKER_03: I done a deal where Simo pushed back, and to be fair, quite rightly so, but then the chief executive said the deal had to go through and it did, times two.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: Businessman level, they point to a huge lack of communication from the owners, given what was promised at the start.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: This can only lead people to think that they have lost interest.
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: Can you blame us for thinking that even if they have not?
- 3:00SPEAKER_03: We hear nothing.
- 3:02SPEAKER_03: Also, the argument we're hearing is who would take this club on?
- 3:05SPEAKER_03: No one will.
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: That's absolute nonsense.
- 3:08SPEAKER_03: There were people queuing up to take it when the Piotex did, and were rebuffed because Nigel Clibbins and the Trust um said there was a queuing system and the US bid was at the front.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: And if that failed, then they would listen to the offers from others.
- 3:23SPEAKER_03: Well, I was actually involved with that.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: One of my mates rang me about a consortium who were interested over the Northeast Middlesbrough A.
- 3:30SPEAKER_03: And I got in touch with um the trust, Matt Spooner, and I said, Just between us, is a deal done.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: Um I've heard there's whispers about an American family.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: He went, I'll have to get in touch with Nigel and see.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: Um, nothing came back, and then when this agent got in touch with Nigel, he got the messages back that the other dealers too far down the line, and you go into a queuing system.
- 3:55SPEAKER_03: If that fails, then we'll look at other ones.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: But that consultant went to fourth in line.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: So, regarding this people saying that there might not be people to take it on, there are people right to take it on now with the experience of football and the area.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: And like the management argument, what I've heard, who would you get after Elliot if he was to go?
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Which I'm not saying for him to go yet, but there's plenty.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: There's proven managers, there's up-and-coming managers, there's firefighter managers, there's local people, there's not local people.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: Look how look Gerrard got started.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: He was a pro at Borough and got his opportunity.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: Eddie Howe, Bournemouth, yeah player.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: So there's plenty of ways you can find a manager, but as I say, that's not the problem.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: Well, it is a problem at the minute, but I would probably say give Elliott another couple of games.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: I think this league, unfortunately, does throw up a result now and then, and the supporters will be worried he does beat Woken and everything goes back to normal.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: But I don't think that'll be the case.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: I think he's got to win the next two or three.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, two or three, I think.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so yeah, we've got loads to go through reaction-wise, but basically did have we seen the highlights?
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: Have we listened?
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, seen the highlights.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Um watched him on Sunday.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Um I mean, they're not extended highlights, they're just quite brief, but yeah, a couple of things.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: He just I just like we've said before.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: I mean, I don't know whether they're only short, but there's some of the call I on chores poor, man.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: Poor and then what I just said to you there about that low ambush chance, he doesn't just miss, he does everything wrong.
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: Everything wrong.
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: The technique is horrific.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: He's five or six yards, hit the target, side foot it at the goal, and it might go in, but like how he scuffs it wide is it's just so bad.
- 5:43SPEAKER_03: What do you think on there about um and you know what?
- 5:47SPEAKER_03: I don't mind, you know, when the family came, it was great that that media, the buzzing.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: It wasn't I was in the games, it was fantastic.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: Said the right things, want to do the right things, but the the this decision making's just been terrible.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: Let's just say it is it's been absolutely terrible.
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: The facts don't lie, we're in my worst ever um position.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: And for once, I think we're not gonna we're not gonna go on about the the boxers anymore and the meals.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: No, that that can that can't just be a can't cover it anymore.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: I've only been once, so I've still got a bit of credit.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: It's great.
- 6:21SPEAKER_03: I don't want it to be a knock of a thing, I think.
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: It's great, but we can't just praise them for that.
- 6:26SPEAKER_03: No, they're here for football reasons, not for them reasons, and and like you say, you don't you but you do go on about it because it is so good, yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_03: Um and what they offer off the pitch.
- 6:35SPEAKER_03: We're trying to help it's brilliant, but that's not the main reason they're here.
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: The main reason is to get the what's happening on the football pitch right, and it's not happening.
- 6:43SPEAKER_03: And people and power, do you know what I mean at the club?
- 6:46SPEAKER_03: It looks like they've been let down by decisions and becoming a soft touch, as you said about agents.
- 6:52SPEAKER_03: Like, how how bad's that for a club?
- 6:53SPEAKER_03: Knowing that in football that Calais dropped down the leagues, get your player in there, you'll get a decent wage, you can commute for an hour or two, yeah.
- 7:02SPEAKER_03: That's fine, they'll let them come out, or this kind of thing, and they should go romp the league.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: But if you've got enough players like that in a group who's for got that attitude, you've no chance.
- 7:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, massive.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: So but they have backed it, do you know what I mean?
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: You look at Rex and stuff, it goes the opposite way where they've won in back it, made good decisions off the pitch, and they get the results right.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: They weren't in and back to it, maybe one or two where they've been thought they've made the right decision, obviously, but it's not turned out that way, and then obviously off the back of that, all the kind of soft touch, the squad, the the change of managers Is that really on the p on them on the owners?
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: Do you know?
- 7:41SPEAKER_03: It is obviously because they're at the head of the table, they're making this they're putting people in positions to make decisions, but their knowledge of football wasn't there before they came in, so they're running on certain people.
- 7:51SPEAKER_03: Well they learned they learnt learned on Simmo a lot, and Simo actually said to them because they're you've kind of seen the positivity when they came, everyone's great, everyone in the club's really nice people, and I think Simo was actually saying, Listen, get yourself over here and have a good six months in this building, and then decide who's great and who's not.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Get to know people, isn't it?
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, if Simo's still involved upstairs, I don't think they'd be in the mess.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: I don't either.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: I think it was the like I think obviously the way he he'd been sacked and stuff, and obviously a few staff, and it was a bit of a He's got too much knowledge of the club and of the city and the surroundings just to not be involved and when when Well that was meant to happen.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: It was meant to happen, and the way it finished with him.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: But see, after a year or two, Simon left and he's obviously gone abroad and stuff like that and working away.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: But do you not think they should be kind of thrown out and nothing?
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean?
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: Just spending all sorts of money on people coming in and agent fees and all this kind of stuff.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: Throw money at Simmel, get him back in the club, get them back in the city, and start running things properly.
- 8:55SPEAKER_03: And I guarantee you see the agents that think they're gonna phone up and get their player three-year deals on write good money.
- 9:01SPEAKER_03: I said to him, I said to him, why not just spend the money?
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Why not just buy all these players?
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: And he's like, Because it's not what I'm about, it doesn't work.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: Like you just throw money at something.
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: Three three players came in, probably on the most, and he was like, I didn't I said, if you're getting them, trigger their contracts as in, give them one year, 25 games, incentives, yeah, incentives, and then the next thing they've turned up the three year deals.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: I think this day and age is the only way you get things out of players now.
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: I think they've got to have targets that are real targets to hit for financial reward.
- 9:34SPEAKER_03: And he done you'll get it out of them, but I think some of them just get I mean, some of the wages that were flying around when they were signing.
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: He wanted your background, he'd done a because when I spoke to him, he he I sat down before I even signed, spoke to him, had like an hour with him speaking away about football in general, everything, and he'd already said he'd spoke to a few people that had managed me or knowed me as a coach or players.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: So, like he he knows how important characters and how to build a squad.
- 10:02SPEAKER_03: So I mean obviously we came short in League One, but with him involved with the club and getting the club, getting the city, but it's not just Steven Simmons, like that Luke or Gerard, whatever we call him at Borum Wood.
- 10:15SPEAKER_03: He every interview I look at when they've signed the player, he goes, He spoke to my ex gaffer, my excaffer, my excaffer, and and because you've got to put it a certain way for him, and yeah, you can't just just chuck at it and not look at that character.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: I think we've you know Rob Elliott's worked with a few of these players at Gateshead and stuff, but don't know have they come into a dressing room that's a soft touch because they all seem soft touches.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: Because you said it's known in football as being it's a good payday, aye, and it's a big club who's dropped in the leagues, they've thrown money at it, they should be up running about the top of the league.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: Get your players in there.
- 10:47SPEAKER_03: How many players do you think have been putting into Caleo in the last three, four years?
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: I bet you it's a lot compared to other clubs.
- 10:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and we use it the other way in it.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: There's still some of them hanging around now, isn't there?
- 10:56SPEAKER_03: Aye, usually you're still some of them hanging around there in the background getting paid good money.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: But from what I seen when you're going about the the highlights from Saturday, the reaction to when the comes to get goals is nothing.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Nothing.
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: There's like you said before, and you're probably one of the worst for it, like getting at people and getting like a reaction to things that have gone wrong.
- 11:16SPEAKER_03: And that comes down to leaders.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: You were a leader, and there was other leaders in your team, and that's where you got to where you got.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: I don't think that when Feeney's not in that team, and maybe a bit the goalkeeper, I don't see where the other leaders are.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: Do you know why I had to be good every game?
- 11:29SPEAKER_03: Because I was a nightmare to my other players.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: So if I'm having one, exactly just go who you're talking to.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: So if I was talking all the time and hammering people, not hammering, but just I knew I was playing well.
- 11:39SPEAKER_03: If I was quiet, like I'm happy.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: It's not going my way.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: Like I'm that sort of selling.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: You feel that you can justify it when you're having a good game to actually get other people going.
- 11:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:48SPEAKER_03: But reactions, uh it's it's they just turn round, get back in position, and kick off.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: There's nothing.
- 11:53SPEAKER_03: One of our biggest kickoffs was we we had won the league already, and like we kind of standard slipped and we're half time hammer like hammering each other, just going and like that's when you've got a right to go, you know what.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: That was when Muff remember, Moff said to me, me and you, and we were like, Oh, just keep doing the same.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: He's like, Nah, he's like, You're knocking at the door, he's like, go fucking kick it down, yeah, and like hammer through it, not being complacent and go, that's okay, go out second half and it'll be the same game.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: So listen on, everyone, because we're gonna get more into it, talk about some players.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: We've had loads of text, loads of tweets not tweets, emails, so we're gonna go through it.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: So this is from Ollie.
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: At full time on Saturday, I was firmly Elliott out.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: But he's got three games in seven days.
- 12:55SPEAKER_03: In my opinion, it's nine points, or he has to go.
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: We can't afford another season in this league next year.
- 13:02SPEAKER_03: He's also setting a horrendous example to the squad, having two bands in the space of nine matches.
- 13:07SPEAKER_03: Need to lead by example and get these boys going.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: The laugh of lack of experience is probably showing now as well.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: Where does that lie?
- 13:15SPEAKER_03: Elliot, Tierney, a mixture.
- 13:17SPEAKER_03: It's bleak at the moment.
- 13:19SPEAKER_03: Do I see it changing?
- 13:20SPEAKER_03: I'm not so sure, to be honest.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: See if you're winning games, right?
- 13:24SPEAKER_03: You've won every game, and Elliot's been sent off twice.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, look at his passion and all that.
- 13:29SPEAKER_03: But you don't know what's being said.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: Like, obviously, he's it can't be good what he's being said, but he's being sent off.
- 13:33SPEAKER_03: But like on the flip side of it, and it's not I agree with you, I think he's got these next three games to like, I think they have to get seven, seven to nine points.
- 13:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, agreed.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: But look at like Linny non-existent this season, he was Carlisle on his own last season.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: He like the everything went through him.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: I don't think Adjiboy's done much this season, he was a lot better last season.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Second half season, he was.
- 13:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, then you've got Feeney, he's in, he's out, he's in, he's out, doesn't play enough.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: This is my being frustrated.
- 14:03SPEAKER_03: Like, I like don't get us wrong, I like him.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: You hear what I say about him.
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: He's I think he's one leader, but I'm frustrated.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: I'm frustrated for him because 27, yeah, the 28, and it's been one in four games, I would say.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's cough probably.
- 14:16SPEAKER_03: But I'll I'll back that because I've probably been labelled with injuries.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, then people being frustrated at me thinking he didn't play enough.
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: He seems like I don't know him, he's also known and all people know he seems like a good guy, he seems like a good pro, it means something to him.
- 14:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like Kelly, he probably doing everything he can to get like Kelly's.
- 14:34SPEAKER_03: Well that's what I'm saying.
- 14:34SPEAKER_03: I'm not I'm not for one minute saying he's not injured, but like it's just it's it's unfortunate for the club that he's injured.
- 14:39SPEAKER_03: I guarantee like if you sat around and spoke to him, like it'd be so frustrating for him.
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: 100% of the day.
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: But as a fan and people that watch it from the outside, you're entitled to to have that opinion.
- 14:50SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean?
- 14:50SPEAKER_03: Because he'd be probably the first to tell you, and I was I didn't play enough games because I was I was little nickels here and there, but I'd done everything I could to try be fit.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: If he was playing, he'd be yeah, he'd be playing at a higher level, of course.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: But as you as well know, you know, if you have got a calf strain or your hamstrings on, you can't play.
- 15:06SPEAKER_03: Like it's just it's unfortunate.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: Ah, you can't.
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: Like certain things and little knocks in that you can play through.
- 15:10SPEAKER_03: But see, like calf strains like you can't play, it's impossible.
- 15:13SPEAKER_03: No, a calf because you're in your round for six years.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: But your job and people obviously going to the games and paying money, they're entitled to to give your opinions, you know what I mean, and that they're frustrated that he's not available more than he is through whatever it's not I wouldn't say it's a lack of professionalism or he's a drinker or a win or not.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, no, no.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: He obviously works hard and it's frustrating, but but it is a big problem because he's a main leader.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: But if I if I'm seeing Feeney out, I'd go right, I'm gonna be the leader.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: We don't need half Feeney in all the time.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Like if I'm another centre off and go right, I'll be the leader.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: But whether centre half's fucking sitting on TikTok.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 15:50SPEAKER_03: We'll get to visit in TikTok.
- 15:51SPEAKER_03: We'll get to that.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: We'll get to that.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: Someone's come in and they've gone all in, went all in.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: Right, Matt Elliott.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: How are we here again?
- 16:01SPEAKER_03: Manager seemingly out of his depth, a director of football or sporting director or whatever he's called, that's led abysmal recruitment again, and owners who continue to make bad decision after bad decision.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: It's really hard to be a Carlisle fan.
- 16:14SPEAKER_03: I'm not fucking about there.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: Do you know what?
- 16:20SPEAKER_03: Do you know, like, do you know why I don't want him gone though?
- 16:22SPEAKER_03: Because I've seen good things this season, like, and he's been unfortunate where Lin is not what he was, and what I've just said about Feeney out in general, stuff like McAlham's not played a minute, Luke Armstrong hasn't played a minute.
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: These players are big players for the club.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: He got Gateshead, passed us off the park at pretty season friendly, and then last year to keep them up.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: Do you see that though?
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: I said to use it, I went to one of the games that not at home and they won 4-2.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: Some great goals, and then I thought and I came away thinking I'm unsure about them.
- 16:50SPEAKER_03: Because I didn't actually see anything that they were really good at.
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: Like there was a couple of wonder strikes, but I didn't see them as a good passing team.
- 16:58SPEAKER_03: I didn't think I seen good rotations and pass through the lines.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: I didn't really see that defend defending.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: I didn't see that great.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: And strikers on their day they can score goals, but how often do you get them fired for the case?
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: Forest Green is Forrest Green give us the goal because they wouldn't just see this.
- 17:21SPEAKER_03: I reckon I could play again.
- 17:23SPEAKER_03: It's not that bad.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: Sit in front of the back four, sit in front of the back four, back three.
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: What?
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: You'd keep the ball.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: Easily.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: I know, I know.
- 17:31SPEAKER_03: I know what you mean.
- 17:32SPEAKER_03: Like just put yourself in a position.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: There's a period against Forest Green for about 10-15 minutes where they just kept passing the ball to each other, like not their own teammates either, just giving it back to each other.
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: Like simple pass, isn't them?
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: It's frustrating to watch at times.
- 17:45SPEAKER_03: This is from David.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: Too many players, not good enough from previous seasons, still getting games now this season.
- 17:51SPEAKER_03: So if he plays Harper in midfield again, Sackham.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: Yes, agreed?
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: That's and Ali.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: No, no, it's not his fault.
- 18:00SPEAKER_03: It's not his fault, Dylan.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: No, I know, I know, I know.
- 18:03SPEAKER_03: He's getting in a position on Saturday again where he's got the energy.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: He's probably one of the fittest ones.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: Oh, he's a fucking.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: Because I can see him, but the rest are sluggish.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: He actually looks sharp, but he's getting the ball.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: He knows people are on his case, he knows he's got to do something, and he's getting the ball in horrendous positions, but he's not got he's not a midfielder, no.
- 18:23SPEAKER_03: It's trying to get back at left.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: It's a different game.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: It's not trying to play in a half.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: I know you think oh, I'd be decent on the balls, but you'd but when you're the one and you're trying to hold the lane, you know that aye.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: So it's a different game for him.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: And as you said, the manager's putting in a position, he's not going to say I'm no playing, do you?
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, he's he's having to play and that Wern get rid.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: I mean what what what like isn't he a midfielder?
- 18:50SPEAKER_03: So why is he not playing with the five?
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: Is he a midfielder?
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: Well, I don't know where I don't know what his position is.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: I bet he's great on your team on a Friday in training.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: Oh the best, yeah.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: One of the first picks.
- 19:04SPEAKER_03: But if you're looking for a team that I play a certain way in the way he wants to play, I don't see how he fits into that.
- 19:10SPEAKER_03: Do you mean he is just a kind of I don't really see him great at one position, he's just not he's just got energy.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: They've signed this Jenks, right?
- 19:18SPEAKER_03: From Worthing, is it?
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, listen, he might just be settling in, but I don't see I don't see what the lad's good at.
- 19:25SPEAKER_03: And I it sounds horrendous, like it sounds bad, Kenane, but I just don't see where or what he can he brings to the table.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: Do you?
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: By the way, if Werner and Jenks have a great game against Walkin, I'm not arsed.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: It's Walkin.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: Like you were bought in at League Two level, uh Wern certainly to come on and step up.
- 19:45SPEAKER_03: McCartham's been a miss.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: McCann has been a miss.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: He wins the ball back for you, doesn't he?
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: Just with his presence, he wins the team.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: I see what you're just saying about that.
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: Like, you can have one game where you're decent.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: And but to go and win a league or go and get promoted, you need you need about five or six of your players in that team.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: See at the end of the year when they hand out awards, who's in that now league?
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: Like team of the year.
- 20:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and the players.
- 20:07SPEAKER_03: Your two midfielders have been brilliant.
- 20:09SPEAKER_03: Your striker, your centre half, or your keeper, or your left.
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: Like, you need you need a good bunch of your lads in that team of the year.
- 20:14SPEAKER_03: Who plays 42 games anymore for Carlisle?
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 20:18SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 20:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:20SPEAKER_03: Williams.
- 20:23SPEAKER_03: Duro.
- 20:24SPEAKER_03: Williams or Duru, you'd probably go to Duru.
- 20:26SPEAKER_03: Duroo, yeah, for me, yeah.
- 20:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:28SPEAKER_03: As your boy, hot and cold.
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: Need more.
- 20:32SPEAKER_03: Need more, yeah.
- 20:34SPEAKER_03: Need much more.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: Need 10 goals.
- 20:37SPEAKER_03: Is that a confidence with the the team and how they the the they look alright ten minutes and then they look exactly to do it the whole yeah.
- 20:44SPEAKER_03: Are they fit?
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: I don't think we look fit.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: I don't think they look fit at all.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: Eastly were blown out their horse on 70, and you're like, come on.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: It's their cup final again, they even said it.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: But they were getting stronger, we were just weak again.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Kaleo should be getting stronger than the second half of the game.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: Um Wheeling, we'll talk about his interview further down, it comes up, but Wheeling again is like Werner, like North East lads.
- 21:08SPEAKER_03: I said with no sign, I went, these are sorted out.
- 21:12SPEAKER_03: It's neat and tidy on the ball, isn't he?
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: But you need more than that.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: You need more than what he offers for me.
- 21:17SPEAKER_03: He just looks he looks alright sometimes.
- 21:20SPEAKER_03: If they're playing well and they're on on they're in the they're in control of the game, he looks quite decent.
- 21:25SPEAKER_03: But I think when when you when the when you're up against it, I think he finds it quite tough to be honest.
- 21:30SPEAKER_03: Uh Galvin was good last year, but he's not played left back this year, really.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: He's played like left centre half, hasn't he?
- 21:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: Because of Harper's energy, maybe that might be one of the changes.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: Possibly.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: But then Homer's gonna play similar players, like you see the a lot of the midfielders you've read out, they're all seem very similar.
- 21:49SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: Like very good in the ball, you'd say technically a very good profile.
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't say soft, but like not profile of being like I'd love to say now aggressive and like now Do you know what I mean?
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: They don't seem like a Would you love to play against them?
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: No, okay.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: I would say I'm technically one well, I'm a technical player as well.
- 22:08SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't say I was like a destroyer in the middle of the pitch.
- 22:11SPEAKER_03: Do you know I mean?
- 22:12SPEAKER_03: But if you end up with like against my Hibbs team, like we have Marvin Batley, who would if somebody's sticking on his lavers backing up, yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: You mean to do it all as a midfielder, Dylan?
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: I know that's true.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Ten years before.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: Um Luamba, his chance, as he said.
- 22:29SPEAKER_03: Is he a left winger or a right winger?
- 22:31SPEAKER_03: Do you know when you watch something three or four times because you think that can't be what I've just seen?
- 22:35SPEAKER_03: So I went back and watched it again and again.
- 22:37SPEAKER_03: I can't believe what he's done.
- 22:38SPEAKER_03: To be fair, Wern, he's passed it.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: It's a it's an appreciation pass, he's put it on a plate.
- 22:44SPEAKER_03: Wait a pass, just go and hit the target.
- 22:46SPEAKER_03: Like that's the least he should be doing, and he never.
- 22:49SPEAKER_03: Um but it just looked so bad.
- 22:51SPEAKER_03: This is from Ross.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: Lack of leaders and characters, absolutely killing us.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: Pride, passion, desire, responsibility, none of it.
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: That's some bad things to be labelled at, you know.
- 23:04SPEAKER_03: I think as a player, terrible things to have labelled at you.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: Bring Murphy and Seb Mason back.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Both will at least bring passion and drive.
- 23:12SPEAKER_03: More than that, Clark.
- 23:14SPEAKER_03: Um 7th of October.
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: This is from Mikey, 7th of October 2023.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: We'd be bolting away 3-1 in League One.
- 23:21SPEAKER_03: Fast forward three years and look at the state of us.
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: When you put it like that, Jesus Christ, I know.
- 23:27SPEAKER_03: Who got a hat trick that day?
- 23:28SPEAKER_03: Was it Jordan Gibson?
- 23:29SPEAKER_03: Jordan Gibson, yeah.
- 23:30SPEAKER_03: Where's he at now?
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: Crew, three-year deal.
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: I'm never gonna do it.
- 23:34SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't mind him in the team.
- 23:35SPEAKER_03: Peterborough.
- 23:35SPEAKER_03: Was it Peterborough that played?
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: I think John Mellish got a hat trick.
- 23:38SPEAKER_03: We'd be like, I did, I tried near the end of the season.
- 23:42SPEAKER_03: Do you know when you written name in these Jordan Gibson, Mellish?
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: Would they get in this team?
- 23:47SPEAKER_03: Jordan would.
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: I think so.
- 23:49SPEAKER_03: Mellish would, but like this is we shouldn't be doing this.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: We shouldn't be talking about these Freds.
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: You do.
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: Oh, you do 100%.
- 23:57SPEAKER_03: Like he'll be honest and say that technically it wasn't like that wasn't his game.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: But what they need in there stood up, but now you're the game and stuff.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: He he got the crowd going, he he kind of got what it meant, he stayed here.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: I honestly I think and and I I had kind of previous when I I was commuting and stuff for uh like an hour or two, and it's not like lifestyle-wise.
- 24:17SPEAKER_03: I made the decision to stay, didn't you?
- 24:19SPEAKER_03: It's just like see when you s you stay in the city and you the people and you get what it means to the fans, all this kind of stuff.
- 24:25SPEAKER_03: I feel like you it means more to you, do you know what I mean?
- 24:28SPEAKER_03: Than just jumping in your car and travelling two hours there, two hours back and forgetting about it, do you know?
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, 100%.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: As I said, there's one from Ross Thompson.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: Go on the boys, cheeky mentioned for the club statement about our terrible fans, abuse to Elliot, but Elliot getting yellows and now reds for abused officials, farcical, practice what you preach.
- 24:48SPEAKER_03: As I say, I don't think there was anything really for him to go at on Saturday.
- 24:53SPEAKER_03: I don't think the ref had a bad game.
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, the Wambas missed a good chance, we've not been at it.
- 25:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just uh that's yeah, it gives them something to hit him with, it does, yeah.
- 25:05SPEAKER_03: He's frustrated with his team, probably isn't he?
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he can't but he probably can't believe we're one where they are in the league.
- 25:11SPEAKER_03: Well, they're not playing for him.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: I mean, you know what he said the other day, and he went, I love these boys.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: Don't my managers would never say that to me.
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: I'm like looking at them, go, do you like us or not?
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: Fear factor, absolute fear factor.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: So I'd do anything to be like trying to get like now, you get a tap on the shoulder, even when you played shit, the high five and us the go for the pitch, piss off, yeah, get down the tunnel.
- 25:37SPEAKER_03: The fear factor used to make me play at least give everything, even if it wasn't going my way.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: I thought that like you've got to run about and you were always on edge, wouldn't you?
- 25:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so where am I sitting now with him?
- 25:47SPEAKER_03: Do you know?
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: I don't want to be friendly with managers.
- 25:51SPEAKER_03: What if you flew somewhere shitting yourself?
- 25:53SPEAKER_03: Please don't be on the seat next to him.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: Please, no.
- 25:58SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: Unless it's more beer and the season's finished.
- 26:02SPEAKER_03: So walking on Saturday, this league gives you a good fixture to get back on track, but will it be pavering over the cracks?
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, don't I?
- 26:13SPEAKER_03: I was like, see, at home again, some teams here, they're beating them three or full now.
- 26:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 26:16SPEAKER_03: Because they've on their day they've got some five-filled in the box and a few like scunt off a few goals are going.
- 26:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 26:23SPEAKER_03: But majority of their game and what they are as a team over the course of the season.
- 26:28SPEAKER_03: Let's not forget.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: He should have been not two up, but the keyboard was a good side, didn't he?
- 26:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: And then South End first half, good, but then the two-on down with minutes left.
- 26:39SPEAKER_03: And I mean Worthing couldn't get out their own half, end up beating them 3-1.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: Like it's just baffled you.
- 26:45SPEAKER_03: I had a conversation with James Phillips last week because he said at the time he said he was happy for another season down here where we develop.
- 26:53SPEAKER_03: And I put no, need to get out.
- 26:55SPEAKER_03: Plus, most of the team are out of contract.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: So if you're developing a style in a team, most of them are gone because Kelly Armstrong, loads of them are out.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: Um, so you'll need to develop a new group again.
- 27:07SPEAKER_03: You need to get promoted now and deal with being up there if you're good or not, then try and cling on and hang on.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: Academy may be funded for one more year by the family, but lads already we know are trying to get out and get to other clubs now.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I've had I've spoken to, I was going to mention this.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: I've had a few lads who are worried about this.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: Um, if it's about the academy, and it might not be in there if they don't get back up.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: And like you say, um, I mean, we do know some lads who have got out and are flourishing at clubs, don't we?
- 27:36SPEAKER_03: Um, and there's other lads trying to get out because that's a big blow, though, isn't it?
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: It's a big blow because it I mean's always had unbelievable talent coming through, yeah.
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: It's been half-horse for years, though.
- 27:46SPEAKER_03: There's still, yeah, as you see, they're still a cold you.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: I know that needs to change, but this thing at the Sheet Mount, it just looks like it's come to a bit of a stand still.
- 27:52SPEAKER_03: I know they maintain the pitches and stuff, but there was a promise of this big dome and stuff, and uh it's gonna be state of the art, and it's never gonna be though, let's be honest.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: From Luke, shite, shite, shite.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: Elliot needs a massive performance on Saturday, but don't think the players can.
- 28:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh, you know what?
- 28:09SPEAKER_03: I I like him.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: I like him as a person, and don't know him, but I like a kind he's not we've had managers in the past who have been right, smarmy bastards.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: He's just a nice guy.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: Like obviously, I've like I said before, I was texting him last week and I just I'm desperate for him to do well.
- 28:26SPEAKER_03: And he's and he firmly believes it's it's coming, but how long do you get like and like the the mic spank walking on?
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: Do you think do you think he really see?
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: I never did till I got you, and I would say to you, my first game here, I went fucking hell, like 8,000.
- 28:44SPEAKER_03: Do you think you realise how big it actually is?
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: Possibly not.
- 28:47SPEAKER_03: I would like to have seen him bring in an older bloke with him, still, still these other assistants, yeah, but an older wiser head because they calm you down.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Because this is Story's first big job.
- 28:57SPEAKER_03: So Story's wanting to do well, isn't he?
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: He's want he's high as a kite.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: There's one thing, there's one thing it's not through the lack of effort and trying and trying to do the right things.
- 29:07SPEAKER_03: And I think that's where the frustration of getting maybe sent off coming on the sideline is just he can't believe what's actually happening in front of him because he thought it was going to be so different.
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: Like one of his old coaches or managers just to go, listen, you go home today, take two days off.
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: I'll do that.
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll take this.
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, good show.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just something like that, takes the press crop.
- 29:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that is a good show to be fair.
- 29:26SPEAKER_03: Because you don't he is doing it now, suppose he's home every night and it's sleepless.
- 29:30SPEAKER_03: And I think, yeah, I was just gonna say it looks like it's affecting him to me.
- 29:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, and I don't like it.
- 29:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, of course, it will because of the size of the job.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: And stuff like that you can see it in his face when he does the interviews, is you want something so desperate to do well, and you can just see like the the build-up in his, and that's maybe why he's he's saying the certain things to referees I shouldn't be saying.
- 29:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, let's sum it up.
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: Initial points I've spoken to coaches, managers, businessmen, and it was kind of when I see all these arguments, I talk to people over the weekend, and they say, Well, who else is going to take this businesses there or people there ready could take this club on.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: There's managers about never worry about that.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: There's always don't want them sacked, but there's always people who will step up and can step up.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: There'll be names out the hat that you've never known about who got the qualifications.
- 30:15SPEAKER_03: Um, judging by the sign-ins decisions over the years, yep, not being great, we're in the worst ever position.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: Let's just hope it can get better because there's no way um we can be in this position anymore.
- 30:29SPEAKER_03: But there's two on a similar subject here, and I've been looking forward to these.
- 30:33SPEAKER_03: This is from Steve.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: Too many TikToking and venturing into interest outside of their job, professional football.
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: Wern has announced the podcast this week.
- 30:46SPEAKER_03: Would you lads have been able to do this in your time playing?
- 30:49SPEAKER_03: Surely the entire focus should be football.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Can these players not read a room?
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: I seen a skit online from Sam Lavelle over the weekend.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: Is he still kicking his heels at Grimsby?
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: Another one with a severe lack of pride in their work, and make no mistake, he was absolutely horrendous for us, Steve.
- 31:07SPEAKER_03: Steve's not messing about, is he?
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't done anything with my spared time but sleep and try and eat the right things and get ready.
- 31:18SPEAKER_03: But obviously, that didn't always be.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: But you're not venturing into stuff because you'd get absolutely hammered.
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: So much hammered for playing tennis in the afternoon.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: Ah, I know what you mean.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 31:29SPEAKER_03: Um, like you said, read that it's maybe not the right time, is it?
- 31:33SPEAKER_03: And he's at a club that's supposed to be flying high in and then in the worst position.
- 31:37SPEAKER_03: And it's sad, and and and from the outside looking in, it looks like he's not fully focused on his job, which I'm nobody's saying he isn't um because it's perception, isn't it?
- 31:47SPEAKER_03: And that's how you carry yourself.
- 31:48SPEAKER_03: Don't give it don't give anyone anything.
- 31:51SPEAKER_03: But exactly it comes down to like management and players.
- 31:54SPEAKER_03: Because I know when I first started out, if I started messing about on social media and putting silly things up that would bring attention when I'm not producing, the ma the the captain's having having a word.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: The manager is dragging me in his office and told like Neil Lennon.
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: I remember one of the boys turned up, like he was about 1920 at the time.
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: Brand new Range Rover Sport, brand spanking Range Rover Sport, and it was in the car park, and we came in and they were like, Who's that?
- 32:20SPEAKER_03: And it was two brothers called uh Philip Twazik and whatever.
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: And Lenny Fun out that morning, and he's like, had them in the office, and see by the next day it was back at the dealership.
- 32:30SPEAKER_03: Michael Bridges Michael Bridges got an MG rover at 18, pulled in like that, top down.
- 32:35SPEAKER_03: Probably was on the fore court for about eight minutes.
- 32:38SPEAKER_03: Hall Bracewell, take it back, honestly.
- 32:40SPEAKER_03: You had to take it back.
- 32:41SPEAKER_03: Twitter of course, man.
- 32:42SPEAKER_03: Couldn't go on.
- 32:46SPEAKER_03: So you'd be coming in with like daft like daft like Vs and at the back when all that's he's like, fucking get that sorted.
- 32:54SPEAKER_03: You're like, I mean, what you know?
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: What's up?
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: If you're representing this club and you're walking about, you don't take yourself serious.
- 33:00SPEAKER_03: Like, literally, as petty as that.
- 33:02SPEAKER_03: But you're we're on about the fear factor before.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: If he tells you to do it, you go and do it.
- 33:06SPEAKER_03: Like you'd be like, fucking, I can't get it done quick enough.
- 33:08SPEAKER_03: I'm not coming in tomorrow without it done.
- 33:10SPEAKER_03: What about Bobby Robson?
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Kieran died.
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Gaffa, stop the boss.
- 33:14SPEAKER_03: Why what's the matter?
- 33:15SPEAKER_03: Forgot my earring, rocking it dry, and he'd be like, I have a fucking earring.
- 33:20SPEAKER_03: Okay, no.
- 33:21SPEAKER_03: But like, as players, obviously they'll probably have battery on that with this boy right or whatever, but as a management team, it's almost like you want the boys to love you, as you said, but it needs to be a line where you're almost like can't cross.
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: If he's pulling you in and saying, What is it you're doing on TikTok?
- 33:36SPEAKER_03: Like, what are you doing it for?
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: Your content's what of being a footballer, so why don't you concentrate and try to get that part right and then worry about that?
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Like, do you know what have you achieved so far?
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: What coming here and sitting whatever position we're in?
- 33:47SPEAKER_03: Do you know it's great content when they'd walk up the hill and they get the questions asked?
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: Do you know if I'm out the team and the media team are asking me about it?
- 33:55SPEAKER_03: You walk past them, you wouldn't you?
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: I have to fuck off.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: I know, yeah.
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: I am fuming at the time.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: Fume because you're not playing, yeah.
- 34:00SPEAKER_03: You're you're absolutely raging.
- 34:01SPEAKER_03: Like, you're not a good person to be around.
- 34:02SPEAKER_03: You're out the football team, you're not.
- 34:04SPEAKER_03: But it seems that everyone's getting the 20 minutes and they get, oh yeah, like coming on.
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: And like maybe there are nice lads, but I don't really want any nice lads.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: I want colleagues, didn't you?
- 34:15SPEAKER_03: You need a better competition.
- 34:17SPEAKER_03: But on that with Stephen Wern's podcast, Denver Hume is doing it with Stephen Werton.
- 34:22SPEAKER_03: So Denver, did you play with them at Sunday?
- 34:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Sundan, yeah.
- 34:24SPEAKER_03: What a player.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: I had to retire then.
- 34:26SPEAKER_03: Um had to retire, went to Grimsby and absolutely tore it up at left back.
- 34:30SPEAKER_03: Went to Portsmouth, sorry, didn't settle, went to Grimsby, got team of the year, then moved to Fleetwood.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: I think something happened, but I always said what retired early through injury or retired early from great lad, great lad.
- 34:42SPEAKER_03: But yeah, fine.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: But you just think it's Stephen Wern at this point.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: I'm not hammering it's lads in general.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: He's thinking, right, I'm probably gonna record this this on the day off, but on the Friday when it's released, you know what it's like, what's the ratings like?
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: What's and suddenly you're you're your mind's elsewhere.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Your mind's elsewhere.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: Have I offended someone?
- 35:04SPEAKER_03: Have I done this?
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: Have I is a manager watching this?
- 35:06SPEAKER_03: Can I place it?
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: It's kind of maybe not the right time, even though he wants to help his mate or whatever going on doing an adventure together.
- 35:14SPEAKER_03: But as you said, you need to get that's amazing.
- 35:18SPEAKER_03: This is your job.
- 35:18SPEAKER_03: If that's not right, nothing else matters.
- 35:21SPEAKER_03: And the TikTok stuff, I honestly I can't wrap my head around it.
- 35:25SPEAKER_03: I can't wrap my head around it.
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: It's all I don't know how many people are starting new on TikToks with life in a footballer.
- 35:31SPEAKER_03: Aye.
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: Like we've seen it a thousand times.
- 35:33SPEAKER_03: Honestly, it's not just nationally, it goes as far down as fucking like just about.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: No, but how many, how many times do we is it I love the keepers one first day of the season, yeah.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: Like 12-year-olds to message underneath it saying, Come back to so-and-so, and you're a good player.
- 35:50SPEAKER_03: Like, what is he actually doing it for?
- 35:52SPEAKER_03: Like, what is the content?
- 35:53SPEAKER_03: Stretching and making some sample degon toast?
- 35:56SPEAKER_03: The older shot one that he writes it for?
- 35:57SPEAKER_03: The older shot one cars and the food and that like he was filming where he was, so he's filming all these class cars, and then he trained for a little bit, and then it was all this food like it looked like on Oxford Street, and people are going, that's not all the shot wages, and then his diet was horrific.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: And then he put underneath this isn't a typical day.
- 36:14SPEAKER_03: Some people you've put uh a day in the life, and then on Saturday was on the bench, he's on the bench consumable.
- 36:20SPEAKER_03: So part two, someone sent this in.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: Nick has sent this in.
- 36:24SPEAKER_03: Callum Wheel in interview says he is sick of hearing when it clicks.
- 36:29SPEAKER_03: I've heard that too much as well.
- 36:31SPEAKER_03: I get it after two to three games of four games out of win, two points off relegation zone, title favourites, and rightly so, by the way.
- 36:38SPEAKER_03: We were title favourites.
- 36:40SPEAKER_03: Borham Wood lost the best player and they got a very small squad.
- 36:43SPEAKER_03: We were outran, as Callum says, we were outran, outfought, outplayed, second best.
- 36:50SPEAKER_03: You can't run harder than people who are fitter than you and easily were.
- 36:55SPEAKER_03: If Callum is the answer, then what is the question?
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: Where is the self-awareness in players these days?
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: Lavelle, again, our ex-captain, would score at 3-0 down and do a dance.
- 37:07SPEAKER_03: He went on a podcast and said Mike Williams' style was ledge, even though we were getting beat.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: Weren't announcing a podcast when he is struggling to start for a team in the bottom half of the National League.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: Would your managers let you do stuff like that when you are playing?
- 37:21SPEAKER_03: We've discussed that.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: Pro football should be your only focus.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: Paid well, supporters back you all the way.
- 37:28SPEAKER_03: We know what it's like.
- 37:29SPEAKER_03: He will be working out when he can do it, how it's going, reading all the feedback, it's distracting for him.
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: And probably the biggest insult I've ever heard you say, Lummy, Dylan, and Skip, is you would love to play against this team, weak, sluggish, and individuals.
- 37:46SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 37:47SPEAKER_03: So much frustration at the minute, isn't it?
- 37:49SPEAKER_03: Um but it feels like a bit of a pile on ball.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: It does feel a pile on ball.
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: Do you know that like I said on the flip side, like it's like Linny last season, what he produced to this season is chalk and cheese, isn't it?
- 38:02SPEAKER_03: And for Nock to have his numbers yet, like he's not produced anything yet, it's such a big miss.
- 38:08SPEAKER_03: McAdam hasn't kicked a ball, Luke Armstrong, and you you you that's in like his sort of like defence, you know what I mean?
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: These lads went a big miss.
- 38:15SPEAKER_03: But yeah, but this but with what they've brought in, they should still be winner.
- 38:19SPEAKER_03: I know we talk about styles and all that.
- 38:20SPEAKER_03: You you put something in the group title deal, mate.
- 38:22SPEAKER_03: It was like forget styles like identities and whatever style of play, but you should have enough in that squad to go get results against the city.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: Somebody's gonna roll your sleeves up and go fucking hell.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: Like just for it's not going very well at the minute.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Running, tackling, and fucking getting up against your man.
- 38:38SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean?
- 38:38SPEAKER_03: Like the basics of that in this league is enough to get you enough points, and then obviously the teams at the top have got a wee bit more than that, but the now if he's saying they're getting outfought, outran, outpassed.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: Calla Whalens can't, you can't be saying that about yourself.
- 38:54SPEAKER_03: What sort of team are you then?
- 38:55SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 38:55SPEAKER_03: Is that a the management team and the players sitting down and say that and I'd imagine they've probably had some crisis meetings already?
- 39:02SPEAKER_03: But lad, see for the next six weeks for this chunk of games, live in brief football.
- 39:07SPEAKER_03: And I was see if you need to come stay in the clubhouse, yeah.
- 39:09SPEAKER_03: Come stay in the clubhouse, stop travelling, two hours been, two hours back.
- 39:12SPEAKER_03: That's a great show, by the way.
- 39:13SPEAKER_03: Sitting in a garage, eating shite, doing TikToks, doing podcasts.
- 39:17SPEAKER_03: See for this next six weeks or whatever it is, all be together.
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: Either I'm gonna get sacked and we're gonna get relegated, or we're gonna turn this round.
- 39:25SPEAKER_03: So we need to live in brief football.
- 39:27SPEAKER_03: Like, that is the only thing that matters in your life.
- 39:29SPEAKER_03: Fucking hell, I want to play for you now.
- 39:32SPEAKER_03: But like, but as well, Rob Elliott, fuck them off, distance yourself, distance yourself.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: That is probably where he he probably needs to be a bit more that fine line.
- 39:42SPEAKER_03: The new coach has got to be a bit more in tune with their emotions, but also I like that.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: You know, what's he thinking today?
- 39:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, used to love going in and well, I didn't, I used to hate going in, going, what the fuck are we doing today?
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: Are we off tomorrow?
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: Are we not?
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: But C V comes over and he's just like, What's that?
- 39:58SPEAKER_03: Oh I fucking love these boys, just gonna here we go.
- 40:02SPEAKER_03: But if he's a bit dry sometimes, you're like, shit, whatever I done now.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: Like, have I maybe I never tried this hard in training or whatever?
- 40:09SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 40:09SPEAKER_03: You just need a segment on things people do for social media that boils normal people's piss.
- 40:15SPEAKER_03: Mine today, photo of your kid and the caption date night with the boy or girl, you're looking after your own child, it's parenting, not a date night, and nine times out of ten, it's doing something the parent wants to do, not the kid.
- 40:29SPEAKER_03: Never say it's date night, and then a photo of them, the kid just doing wheelies on a bike or choring, picking nicks.
- 40:35SPEAKER_03: I've also got to add to this partner in crime when you put you and your lass up, you'd never robbed a bank, never nicked a car, you fucking went to the cinema or something.
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: Partnering crime I've got one, and I've probably done it about 12 years ago, but it was like partnering crime.
- 40:49SPEAKER_03: If you said ranging a time, I've got them never given my mouth, trust me.
- 40:56SPEAKER_03: I've just really worried there.
- 40:58SPEAKER_03: No, it was um when you put a picture up to the misses and it's like the better half.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: That makes sense.
- 41:03SPEAKER_03: What about one anniversaries where the post- I don't mind that?
- 41:05SPEAKER_03: I don't actually done that when I was younger, but now that makes me feel sick.
- 41:10SPEAKER_03: What about on anniversary where they put the s oh Tommy?
- 41:13SPEAKER_03: I feel sick.
- 41:13SPEAKER_03: Like happy anniversary, and there's a picture, and then they put I still choose you.
- 41:17SPEAKER_03: Like well, you still with us, aren't you?
- 41:20SPEAKER_03: Someone put that on the other week, and I seen him trying his arse off in Lloyd's on a Sunday.
- 41:26SPEAKER_03: Uh my my partner in crime, my ride or die.
- 41:31SPEAKER_03: Ride or die, yeah.
- 41:32SPEAKER_03: My world with a globe.
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Come on, my wins.
- 41:38SPEAKER_03: My old boring bastard.
- 41:39SPEAKER_03: Of course, my young and I'm like, I ain't fucking shit.
- 41:41SPEAKER_03: You put a devil emoji next to it.
- 41:43SPEAKER_03: No one annoys me, actually.
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: Now we're talking about it.
- 41:46SPEAKER_03: And I get it for like child protection and your own kids and identities and stuff, right?
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: But see when they put pictures of kids up, standing like a family photo, but the kids have literally got like an emoji.
- 41:55SPEAKER_03: That's we can't see the face or a face or a blurred face, and it's like generally what is the point in putting that picture up?
- 42:01SPEAKER_03: And I get you've got to maybe keep them out your social media, which is fine, then just don't post it.
- 42:06SPEAKER_03: Ah, I don't post it, just post a picture of your flowers or your coffee, whatever it is.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: But you're putting a picture up of your kid on a bike, and the face is all blurred out, so it's it's literally just a bike.
- 42:15SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 42:16SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean?
- 42:17SPEAKER_03: Like, I get why people do it, but why put it up?
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 42:19SPEAKER_03: Did we dare?
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: Uh quickly, last week of the pot or charity pot.
- 42:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:26SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna put the link up again.
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: Manchester United training top from last year, all the signatures, all the literature to prove it's legit.
- 42:35SPEAKER_03: Casemiro on Fernandez, all them.
- 42:38SPEAKER_03: Yes, good prizes.
- 42:39SPEAKER_03: Uh 1617, Carlisle signed shirt in a nice big frame.
- 42:44SPEAKER_03: Hospitality date, Manchester United v.
- 42:46SPEAKER_03: Bournemouth on November the 21st.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Um, Danny Granger shirt.
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I've got Scott Get in touch with him.
- 42:52SPEAKER_03: We've got the sign Carlisle top that the uh Fizio.
- 42:56SPEAKER_03: No, Kitman.
- 42:57SPEAKER_03: Kitman, sorry, Kitman, yeah.
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, thank you, Dino.
- 43:01SPEAKER_03: And I know who dropped the Muggabi top off.
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 43:04SPEAKER_03: So I got a message last week off do you know Carl Knox, my neighbour.
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: So his boy Mugabe gave his boy a top end last season.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: And in passing, I seen Carly went, I've got a Muggabi top, do you want to feel your raffle?
- 43:17SPEAKER_03: I said, if you want, but I I did I didn't sort of like it's just in passing, and it was just on the doorstep, and then he messaged me saying, Did you get that top?
- 43:24SPEAKER_03: My boy left it on your doorstep.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: Should we give it back to the boy?
- 43:28SPEAKER_03: He doesn't want it.
- 43:29SPEAKER_03: He doesn't want No, I don't mean that No, I don't mean it that way.
- 43:33SPEAKER_03: It's just that like you'd rather we'd rather we use it.
- 43:36SPEAKER_03: We've got a bottle of rum.
- 43:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll I'll write them all down and who they were off as well because we've got Oh, we've got an old um a voucher from the old bank.
- 43:46SPEAKER_03: Fifty quid?
- 43:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we've got a um you want that one, don't you?
- 43:49SPEAKER_03: Um book keep that one.
- 43:50SPEAKER_03: We've got a massage from oh f um I apologize, I forgot where it's from, but no, it's through my it's through my brother's wife, Sarah.
- 43:59SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Um she got in touch with us, I'm gonna collect that this week as well.
- 44:02SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
- 44:03SPEAKER_03: Well, list it all down, and we'll have one last push and then we'll tell you exactly what we've got in plan.
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: But thank you.
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: Uh we're up to 1700, 1800.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: And we've got no, we're gonna put we're gonna get over 2,000.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: Well, just just on that, um, my mum's finally out of the the psychiatric ward and she's into a new care home.
- 44:21SPEAKER_03: Where at um Rose Hill.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: Um and it's just a big, massive relief for everyone because now she's been in there since the 25th of July, and she's not allowed out.
- 44:33SPEAKER_03: Um, and it's it's killing my dad going to see her in there, but now she's in this new home, it's lovely, the people are lovely, and it can take her out for meals and all that.
- 44:41SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna go down then, meet the staff, yeah.
- 44:44SPEAKER_03: Anything they want or need, we're gonna give them that money spam for the staff.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so yeah, so as I said, we might call on a few tradesmen because obviously there's no work in there.
- 44:56SPEAKER_03: There's manual labour to do.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: Uh so whatever we make and whatever people have done it, like we've said before, it's it's massively appreciated and it's going to a very good place.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: Excellent.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: I'll put the link up one more time.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: Anything spare you've got, but appreciate everything that's happened and what you give us so far.
- 45:10SPEAKER_03: Cole Palmer, load management pulled out the England squad for due to load management.
- 45:16SPEAKER_03: I don't even know what that means.
- 45:18SPEAKER_03: But is that what Tuco was ranting about on the press?
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: No.
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: What about Declan Rice pulling out and a party with a cigar in his mouth next to Noble?
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: Was he?
- 45:26SPEAKER_03: I've not seen that.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: Um there's been a few pull-out, yeah.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: Uh load management that Chelsea have said.
- 45:32SPEAKER_03: He's been struggling though, isn't he?
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: He's growing or something.
- 45:35SPEAKER_03: He's been stuck.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 45:37SPEAKER_03: So the could be style something, I suppose, isn't it?
- 45:40SPEAKER_03: Oh, Horror and Ogbonnah were going mad, weren't they saying?
- 45:43SPEAKER_03: Ah, no, it's turn up from my converge.
- 45:45SPEAKER_03: Listen, Gabby, you didn't turn up a bloody train in the club, and from your team.
- 45:49SPEAKER_03: Enough, boys' best but to be there, and boys that know they're good enough to get back in.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Aye, you know what I mean?
- 45:55SPEAKER_03: Like they can miss it and get straight back in.
- 45:58SPEAKER_03: On a lighter note, remember when we were discussing if we were not a four footballer last week, what we would be, you said tradesman.
- 46:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what would your dream job be?
- 46:11SPEAKER_03: I should ask this before we come in.
- 46:13SPEAKER_03: This isn't golf.
- 46:16SPEAKER_03: Golf.
- 46:17SPEAKER_03: And then get yeah, what about did you put it at all just flying over the water?
- 46:20SPEAKER_03: Did you do you play golf?
- 46:21SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 46:22SPEAKER_03: I might take it up.
- 46:23SPEAKER_03: I watched that um you know when uh I don't really watch golf or play, but I watched that documentary um when Liv was circling and Rory McElroy was going, don't go, lads, don't go to Live.
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm sick.
- 46:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because he's what forward what I forgot 100 million.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: It doesn't matter to him, does it?
- 46:41SPEAKER_03: Um golf, surely.
- 46:43SPEAKER_03: I'll travel over the world, playing all the best courses, getting looked after.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this isn't my dream job, right?
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: I got in last week.
- 46:51SPEAKER_03: You ever got in when you have you ever got in when you put the music channels on late at night?
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: And there's a sign in the doing the sign language in the bottom right hand corner.
- 47:00SPEAKER_03: Oh lord, so you know that'd say I was like, vanilla rice.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: No, so the sign language blew up about 50 odd.
- 47:09SPEAKER_03: Fucking vanilla rice came on.
- 47:10SPEAKER_03: I was like, nay chance, and he's fucking studied vanilla ice, and I was thinking he gets back, I was thinking he gets back to his business.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: Like, oh, how did it go?
- 47:19SPEAKER_03: And I love class had Westlike vanilla rice and freaking ultra bit on.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: Oh you can't take your eyes off them, can you when you say them be like, you know, dream job?
- 47:31SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I used to always say on a paper call?
- 47:34SPEAKER_03: My retirement plan was news agents sit, get overweight, drink cans of coke all day, pork scratchings, the ones with the hairs on, and just read every paper.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: So Glenn Murray rang us, he said he had to do a zoom for him for his university course.
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: And he was like, any more news on the news agents?
- 47:52SPEAKER_03: I was like, can I remember that?
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: I'd be freaking bankrupt now.
- 47:57SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't mind doing what the what the likes of Roy Keane and Gerard and that doing or TNT and Sky Sports, just presenting, presenting, just asking their opinion, going to European games and stuff like that.
- 48:09SPEAKER_03: That's that that would feel to me like, but obviously you'd have to be an absolute pressure.
- 48:12SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't want to be still in without the pressure football.
- 48:16SPEAKER_03: I just suppose I've got me and all the shit that goes with it behind the scenes and that, and agents phoning you out of players and because you've said like you've got to be a good thing.
- 48:24SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, even that, yeah, yeah.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: Like, even have you seen Roy Keane's one recently?
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: When were he was like John McGuinn's one?
- 48:29SPEAKER_03: Called him a pub player when he's not on the Robertson's, and then Robertson said he said something about being a baby or something like that, and it's so it's like do you know what one of my neighbours used to do?
- 48:39SPEAKER_03: He used to build um fish tanks for rap stars.
- 48:44unknown: How?
- 48:44SPEAKER_03: So I went, who's this garage?
- 48:46SPEAKER_03: I went past his garage and I went, that's a massive telly.
- 48:49SPEAKER_03: And he went, it's not a telly.
- 48:50SPEAKER_03: I went, what is it?
- 48:51SPEAKER_03: He went, it's a fish tank for 50 cents.
- 48:54SPEAKER_03: I went, fuck off.
- 48:55SPEAKER_03: How do you even get it?
- 48:56SPEAKER_03: Fish tank for 50 cents.
- 48:58SPEAKER_03: I went how so he's marine something, yeah, followed into that.
- 49:01SPEAKER_03: Next thing he's knocked up the 50 cents thing, he and Warwick Bridge.
- 49:05SPEAKER_03: Massive, like massive.
- 49:06SPEAKER_03: That's mad.
- 49:07SPEAKER_03: It's mad that some some jobs people have got are just the mental, aren't they?
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: Um pilot, it's too long, I wasn't it.
- 49:15SPEAKER_03: It's too long, I was private jet pilot pilot.
- 49:18SPEAKER_03: Going back to what you're talking about them lot on the pundit and that.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: See what Royke.
- 49:23SPEAKER_03: I seen a clip today, and Roberts mentioned Madison.
- 49:25SPEAKER_03: Well, he's had a bit with Madison, hasn't he?
- 49:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, did he?
- 49:28SPEAKER_03: No, Keenas.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: So Robertson said something so about I should have seen him in five aside, he went, so it's just 11 aside he struggles in them.
- 49:35SPEAKER_03: The father we back to be fair, Madison he gives it back.
- 49:38SPEAKER_03: I gives it back, yeah.
- 49:39SPEAKER_03: He's got he's got a bit about him, hasn't he?
- 49:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I know what my dream job is.

- 50:10SPEAKER_03: That's on.
- 50:12SPEAKER_03: What we went through that day, I'm alright with it, mate.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: You just can go, man.
- 50:15SPEAKER_03: Are you sure?
- 50:15SPEAKER_03: Oh, I don't want to do that again.
- 50:17SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 50:18SPEAKER_03: Where's the gaffer?

- 55:28SPEAKER_03: And then he went back to Celtic.
- 55:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 55:30SPEAKER_03: Oh Dylan.
- 55:31SPEAKER_03: And then he went somewhere else and then to Rangers again.
- 55:34SPEAKER_03: Where did he go?
- 55:35SPEAKER_03: Yep, he'd done that.
- 55:36SPEAKER_03: You went abroad, didn't you go abroad?
- 55:37SPEAKER_03: Turkey fuck.

- 55:59SPEAKER_03: Oh a couple more?
- 56:00SPEAKER_03: He went to America.
- 56:02SPEAKER_03: I think England.
- 56:03SPEAKER_03: Well, kind of England.
- 56:05SPEAKER_03: Derby?
- 56:06SPEAKER_03: When did he go to Derby?

- 56:11SPEAKER_03: Yes, and he scored against the Castle of Vitas.
- 56:13SPEAKER_03: You know what I'll give you that?
- 56:14SPEAKER_03: After Celtic he went to Derby.

- 57:02SPEAKER_03: Don't know where the other way is, do you?
- 57:04SPEAKER_03: The other way.
- 57:05SPEAKER_03: I'll give you Vancouver White Cat.
- 57:07SPEAKER_03: Oh right, yeah.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: So he did Vancouver.
- 57:09SPEAKER_03: Then back to Rangers.
- 57:11SPEAKER_03: And then he had three more teams in Scotland.
- 57:14SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 57:15SPEAKER_03: Livingston.
- 57:16SPEAKER_03: Livingston, yes.
- 57:17SPEAKER_03: Clear manager.
- 57:18SPEAKER_03: Was he?
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: Ah, he went in as a manager for about a week.

- 57:31SPEAKER_03: Um Livingston.
- 57:37SPEAKER_01: Should be easy, no?
- 57:39SPEAKER_03: Obviously not.
- 57:42SPEAKER_03: Don't know right now.
- 57:44SPEAKER_03: Go on.
- 57:44SPEAKER_03: Dundee, and then Partick.
- 57:46SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I should.
- 57:47SPEAKER_03: Did he?
- 57:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.

- 58:12SPEAKER_03: Like fourteen moves, basically, yeah.
- 58:13SPEAKER_03: Which Swedish footballer once had a clause inserted in his Premier League contract that prohibited him from travelling into space?
- 58:21SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 58:22SPEAKER_01: I don't remember him.
- 58:23SPEAKER_01: Swedish?
- 58:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, you've said you've mentioned this before.
- 58:27SPEAKER_03: I've mentioned him.
- 58:28SPEAKER_03: Aye.
- 58:29SPEAKER_03: I'll tell you the story.
- 58:30SPEAKER_03: Stefan Schwartz?
- 58:31SPEAKER_03: Correct.

- 58:35SPEAKER_03: No, he couldn't.
- 58:36SPEAKER_03: No, he just couldn't get on a plane, would he?
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: His agents secured a spot on an upcoming space flight, and they thought Steph might get on it because he loved space.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: So I've played all preseason for Sunderland, and then they've signed Stefan Schwartz.
- 58:48SPEAKER_03: So he's meant to be playing against Chelsea.
- 58:50SPEAKER_03: So on the Friday, Steph's like cough.
- 58:53SPEAKER_03: So we get down to Chelsea, first day of the season, Desai fucking Zola.
- 58:59SPEAKER_03: Steph doesn't fancy it, does he?

- 59:08SPEAKER_03: And then I played.
- 59:12SPEAKER_03: Good story to tell, though, isn't it?
- 59:13SPEAKER_03: Name the three Dutchmen to play for AC Milan in the 90s.
- 59:17SPEAKER_03: Van Baston, Reichard, and Huliton.
- 59:19SPEAKER_03: Well done, Dylan.
- 59:20SPEAKER_03: Fucking I wasn't even born.

- 59:32SPEAKER_03: Fernandez.
- 59:33SPEAKER_03: Are you saying Fernandez?
- 59:34SPEAKER_03: That was a nice season.
- 59:35SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 59:35SPEAKER_03: That was in a season, wasn't it?
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: Over all together?
- 59:39SPEAKER_03: Over all time.
- 59:45SPEAKER_03: Rooney?
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: No.
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: I don't know who Rooney is.

- 1:00:02SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_03: I think who played for ever.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: I can't believe you just haven't got it.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_03: Is it on the bag?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_03: Likes a shag.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_03: Running?
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_03: Uh don't know.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_03: One of the all-time Premier League greats.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_03: Probably one that more than anyone.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_03: One more than anyone.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_03: Aye.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_03: Gegs?
- 1:00:32unknown: Aye!
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_03: Wait, never get you.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_03: Do you remember that Evo?
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_03: Do you remember that advert back in years ago that when he played in the old man you team in his rebox?
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_03: And he outside the left foot into the top corner.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_03: I think it was at Sellers Park.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_03: What an advert that was.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_03: Right, last question.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_03: Which player has scored in two Champions League finals for different clubs?
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_03: Only no Ronaldo.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_03: 2008 for Manu and just twice for Madrid.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_03: 2014 and 2017.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_03: Right, what's the crack?
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_02: Let's go.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_03: Morning, gents.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_03: Mixed my fix of the podcast this week with Jetset Lumsden going and hold a mid-season.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_03: Absolute walk-a-thon it was.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_03: Um what are your thoughts of all this high five nonsense that has crept into the game when a goalie makes a save or a defender does a tackle?
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: Players all seem to high five each other.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_03: As Roy Keene says, is it not their job to do those things?
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_03: I also have an idea for a raffle prize, a data Carlisle game with the three in the middle cast.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: I will start the bidding at£100.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_03: All the best, guys.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_03: Sounds good, doesn't it?
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_03: Um just wanted to oh no, sorry, that's it.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_03: So the high five.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_03: I just think when they walk off, even when they've been beat, I seen it the other day.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_03: The goalkeeper coach is waiting for them, hand fiving them.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_03: I used to, as we've mentioned throughout this podcast, fear factor.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_02: I used to think, I don't want to get in that tour, me.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_03: I used to dread walking into change room sometimes after being beat.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_03: Like Brian Horton, I bet he came there.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_03: Oh but you think times in your career where you've probably been most successful as a team, be probably all similar when we say that the hat that fear factor was massive.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_03: Drove you on, didn't it?
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_03: Like the last 10 minutes if we're getting a game drawn or getting beat, it's like shit.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we need to saw this.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_03: This is gonna be this is gonna be bad.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_01: And sometimes it's bad as well.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_03: I hope there's no traffic now up the road so we can get changed and get out or whatever we'll do.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_03: And it that's that's what it seems like.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_03: It seems it's sometimes like harsh on the lads if they keep them in on a Sunday or run them.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_03: What's ever happened to running up the stands in that?
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_03: Doesn't happen anymore.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_03: It's just it should though.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_03: Should, you should, yeah, but maybe just football in general is a bit too nice now.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_03: Like if we if we had a night out on a Saturday, right, and we had it planned.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_03: We knew that if we don't get anything other than a win, it's not coming, it's done because we're on a Sunday.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: But yeah.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: Gaffle's gotta go mad if he finds that anyone's been out, we're on Monday.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_03: Like it would just ruin your plans.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: That gives you that extra like that things.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_03: We knew that I can't really quit the misses or whatever we've got date night or whatever it is, like it's done because we're in tomorrow.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_03: That's um I can understand that with Celtic, even just not getting beat.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_03: But with us, we had to if you got beat, it had to be in fucking the right way.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_03: If you got beat and you were at on you knew, you're like sending Monday, and or you're just not going out anyway.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_03: Used to kill me at Portville, though, my bags were in the boot, man.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_03: You're in tomorrow.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_03: Horrendous.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_03: Just just she phoned the missus and been like, she obviously knows she's seen the results.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: Ready for a night out?
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_03: Need to cancel.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: Like cancel where other partners and stuff will go out wherever it is.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_03: Do you know that it's like, well, I need to take the car tonight, I'll go, but I'll take the car because I can't have a drink, I'm in tomorrow.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_03: It's just killing.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_03: And you knew the next day is not going to be like sweetness and light.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_03: No, no.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_03: Oh, the manager's not even looking in your direction for a couple of days.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_03: This is from Rob Rob McPhillips.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_03: Just wanted to add how much I'm enjoying the podcast.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_03: Being a big CUFC supporter and football podcast fan, three in the middle, certainly ticks all the boxes.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_03: If there was one moment in your career you could go back to and change, what would it be?
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_03: And how differently do you think your career would have turned out?
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_03: Stephanie Schwartz was fucking fit, would have been on a bench against Watford, maybe got on last 10.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_03: Sliding doors, isn't it?
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_03: Loads of sliding doors moments.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_03: Mine was signing for Gretna, which is the worst thing I ever done.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_03: What was your options?
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_03: At the time, nothing.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_03: That's why I took it.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_03: Um I was sort of stayed in the game though.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was a bit desperate, and then obviously I I got back and kicked on after that, but them 18 months were oh the low, man.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_03: You can only but you can't deal with it's in front of you, innit?
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: And and obviously the the deal was good, so and it was for three years, so you thought, oh, I'm alright for the next three years, but because of one man, it was a disaster.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_03: I wish Joe Garner hadn't done his cruise yet at crew on the League One because we would have gone up, no bother.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_03: He'd done it about March, no, every March, he would have got us like another 12 points.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you went up comfortably then, didn't it?
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_03: We were comfortable, yeah.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to think.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_03: It's a good question, isn't it?
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_03: There's so many sliding doors, like if I should have maybe I should have just signed for Barnsley on loan, had that season in the championship, went back to Sunderland, and my stock was out of that.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_03: Probably not getting Sunderland's team or being out of it, but more championship clubs would have came in.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_03: But I just needed that move at that Christmas, yeah.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_03: Deal was right.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_03: Hindsight, hindsight, innit?
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I think I was I was just leaving hips, had a good season, got into Scotland squad, flying, and it was a bit rocky the year before, so I was.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_03: And my contract was running out, and I was like, right, I'll let it just run out and I'll move on somewhere else.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_03: Went to Sunderland, obviously, it's a huge club.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_03: Dropped into League One.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_03: Obviously, we've seen the documentary and stuff, it ends up a bit of a shit show.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_03: But I feel like if I'd just stayed at Hibbs, I'd have been probably another 40 games.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_03: Another fucking like a big dog there, do you know what I mean?
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_03: In the Scotland squad, kept the run going, potentially being the next few squads, and who knows, do you mean?
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_03: But you gotta take that move.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_03: The Sunderland move, I was on a three, I was going there, and it was a decent move.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_03: And you always think best case scenario.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_03: You think I'll go down there, Sunday's a huge club in League One, we'll go romp the league, I'll be in a championship next year.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_03: My money doubles, I'll be one of the main men because the guys brought me in and signed, mate.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_03: Do you know?
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_03: When you look at it that way, why wouldn't you go on Sunday?
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_03: Why wouldn't you go to the room?
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_03: How many games did you play that first season, didn't it?
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_03: No many, not many.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_03: But again, partly myself as well.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_03: Like I had I went straight down, done well pre-season, picked up a calf injury, missed like four weeks seasoning started.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_03: I was trying to get in, there was always a big hattles there at the time, and the club wasn't doing well.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_03: I wasn't really doing well when I played.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_03: It was just tough as well.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_03: That would have been one of them Saturdays.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_03: I know Jack Ross wasn't like that, but you your weekend's bollocks if you don't win for Sunderland in League One.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, they're like National League when I played for Carl, yeah.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_03: You have to win every game, really.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_03: Oh, we're Sunderland in League One.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_03: Do you know on big wages, big uh stadiums, and not beating some of these teams that they've never even heard of before?
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_03: And the fans are letting you know.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I mean 30-40,000?
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_01: It's not easy, is it when you talk going your way playing it somewhere like that?
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's like Barnsley was bad and all.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_02: Barnsley Sunderland, yeah.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_03: Quite bad in the world.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_03: Did you see Lee Catamore getting it on Saturday?
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_03: What was the result though?
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_03: Was it six and half time?
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_03: Six and a half time.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_03: And I didn't want to really get his interview afterwards.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_03: He's like, I know what I'm trying to achieve here, and I feel like I'm sort of banging my head against a brick wall contour, and you just felt you felt it for it, but he's got a young 16-year-old on the bench, and that my mate's sons.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_03: But where do they go if they get rid of him?
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_03: Like, what do they do then?
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_03: No, I know.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_03: Um we got most famous person you ever met through footy, or shall we do that next week?
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_03: Do that next week.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_03: Have a think.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_03: No, I've just noticed though, we've sat here what for an hour and a half, and we've got two lights here behind the camera, and not one of them are on.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_03: Is it dark?
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know if it's just getting darker outside on my eyes are justin', but we've got two big bright lights.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_03: I just wonder why you've not got that kind of glow that you say.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_03: I'm not being summer.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: Adam's uh Adam's in turn on his lasses away.
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_03: Just before we finish, we've done a bit of coaching last week, didn't we?
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_03: We did.
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_03: Oh, we're not finished yet.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: No, we're not.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: No, but we we've done a bit of this last week for Crusade under nines, tens, I think, yeah.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_03: Hoolie Dabba and Ridd's team, and it's very enjoyable.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_03: You get us into some good things, just as train's about to start the rain comes, doesn't it?
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_03: The wind.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_03: No, it was good though.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_03: It was good though, wasn't it?
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_03: A good start and the one on Saturday morning for two, so we did Saturday morning.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, got some nice teams.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_03: If any team wants us to come and coach them on a windswept rainy night, right?
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_03: This is from Grant Davison.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_03: Hi fellas, brilliant pod.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_03: Keep up the club, the great work.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_03: Just a question for Dylan.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: Although I'm sure you will have all have a view on this too.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_03: I'm not a massive follower of Scottish football, so I'll hold my hands up and say I don't fully understand the history of the league system and why it's structured the way it is.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_03: But I've always wondered why don't they have fewer leagues with more teams in each, allowing for a more straightforward setup where everyone plays each other home and away with promotion, relegation, and playoffs?
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_03: I find the current system of playing each other multiple times, followed by the league splitting into different sections for the final games quite unusual.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_03: Agree.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_03: Assume the extra fixtures against the bigger clubs are partly to generate money and bigger crowds, but from a fan's point of view, does playing the same teams four times a season and then having the split make the league more interesting, or does it a bit more repetitive?
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_03: I'm generally interested to know what Scottish fans think too.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_03: Are most fans happy with the current structure, including the split and playoff system, or is there more appetite for a complete rethink?
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_03: Perhaps fewer leagues, more teams in each in a more traditional promotional relegation format.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_03: Maybe there are some obvious reasons I'm missing, so interested to hear your thoughts.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_03: Grant.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_03: Good question.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_03: And I think I think most people agree that it is repetitive.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_03: But the only reason for that is Sky pay the money for the deals for Scotland, and they want four over on games.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_03: Four.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_03: That's it.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_03: So it couldn't be a few.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_03: Is that the top and bottom?
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's top.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_03: They can only have four.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_03: They can only have four of the split.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_03: So after the split, so before they play each other three times basically, and then after the split, they'll play a fourth.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_03: A fourth, yeah.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_03: But why don't they just play four without the split?
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_03: Could they not?
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_03: Is that run out of games?
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_03: No, they used to do that before the split.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_03: And then they got split together.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_03: I like the split, yeah, but I do think the league needs to be bigger.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_03: Because if a fans are like, if you have the championship teams now.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_03: There's there's there's part at Thistle, Dunfermland, Ross County, and sort of like on League One, League Two, like good sized clubs.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_03: I mean there's probably a couple of missing, but Wraith Rowers, yeah, who easily could go into like a 16 team league.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_03: You could make it 16.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_03: And it's better for fans like travelling to different stadiums, different parts of now the country, um, more competitive as well.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_03: But I I do I do like the split because what happened before was one or two teams would fight near the bottom, one or two obviously Celtic.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_03: And then every between it was just nothing and nothing.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_03: Whereas now teams can get in a Europe, teams can get dragged in because you're playing teams just roundabout you at the bottom, do you know what I mean?
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_03: So you can get if you're six points off at the bottom, getting it in a split within a game or two, do you know what I mean?
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_03: You can get crawl back.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_03: So I do like the split in the system and the team coming up and stuff from the league below, it's good, but it is just down to sky and the money and they want four all forum games.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_03: Great question, you know.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_03: I suppose it's like it's like the National League though, you've always got something to play for, haven't you?
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_03: Because of like the six or whatever.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_03: The playoff positions you can get into there.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_03: Aye.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_03: Right then.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_03: Just finishing off.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_03: It must win Saturday.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, absolutely, yeah.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_03: Must win Tuesday.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_03: I think I've got like seven or seven or nine out in the next three.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_03: Seven or nine out of the next one away.
- 1:12:33SPEAKER_03: Hopefully.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_03: Filed or filed in an older shop next Saturday.
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_03: Week Saturday.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_03: Do you see that about every team in the play though, innit?
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_03: Like I would just be there and just destroyed our team.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_03: I shall you die.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_03: No, I think hopefully it's sick as well, and it's minimum seven points.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_03: I think.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_03: And that's the way if it clicks Saturday, it's got to click Tuesday.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_03: But what I would like, three or two, three, two or three wins.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_03: And you know what?
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_03: One of the wins is just freaking it's windy at file.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_03: Get your skews up, dig in in one.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_03: One nil, that can get it.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_03: And getting a feel of that can alley.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, good for the whole fight.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_03: I think there's too many players want the perfect win.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_03: There's no better than nickel.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_03: I remember it was on yesterday.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_03: Did Roy Keen say one-nil sulfard on Saturday?
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_03: He went, I think it'll be one-nil sulfard, and Gary and I went.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_03: Best kind of wins then, Roy.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_03: They're the they're the them type of wins.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_03: I got a lot of them at Barrow because we were one of the smaller teams in the National League, but when we were getting battered for the last 15-20 minutes and we hung on.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_03: Oh 1-0 and you you're buzzing after it.
- 1:13:38SPEAKER_03: The lads throwing themselves in front of it.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_03: Oh well, I was there.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_03: Derek Holmes used to be like that.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_03: 78 when he are again.
- 1:13:47SPEAKER_03: Bring Glenn Murray on.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_03: Get in the way, Glenn.
