• 3:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy for you.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_00: Tell like what and let's say that somebody, you know, younger, let's say a 20-year-old wants to break into what you're doing.
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_00: What's your advice?
• 3:53
SPEAKER_01: You find you find the right people, you stay with them, and you stay in that circle.
• 3:57
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_01: And don't don't you know don't veer from that.
• 4:00
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_00: We've talked before about how it works.
• 4:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:03
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:03
SPEAKER_00: And and don't deviate from the plan.
• 4:05
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:05
SPEAKER_01: Don't deviate from the plan.
• 4:06
  SPEAKER_01: Stay the course.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I was saying to somebody, you know, I'm a huge football fan, and when you run a plane, it's great, you run it again.
• 4:12
  SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: You don't try and pretend you're somebody else.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_01: And it it just the days of the 10-year town, I don't believe that anymore.
• 4:18
  SPEAKER_00: Good.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad to hear that because that frightened the death out of me.
• 4:21
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't believe that anymore.
• 4:22
SPEAKER_01: It did it didn't it took me a lot longer than 10 years.
• 4:25
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's okay because like you're a legend now in country music.
• 4:29
  SPEAKER_00: People know your name.
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 4:31
SPEAKER_00: So I think that is tried and true, you know.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: So how hard is it to find your right people when you come here?
• 4:36
SPEAKER_01: Man, it I lived here three times.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_01: This was my third time living here.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 4:40
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, because you come here and you know, you lose focus and you go back, you're not happy, it's not working out, but you you gotta network, you gotta go do writers rounds, you gotta go, you know, you gotta be present to win.
• 4:52
  SPEAKER_01: You do.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_01: You can't be in another state and think it's gonna work.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_00: No, I tell people, artists, that um I was out to standard last night with an artist that's coming back after 20 years, and I'm like, shake hands, kiss babies, but remember, like, where there's fish, there's sharks.
• 5:07
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 5:08
  SPEAKER_01: That's right, that's right.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_01: In this town for sure.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you really have to be careful.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_01: They'll tell you what you want to hear and I know who you work with, and they're the best.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they really are good people.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: And that crew is so pivotal.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, because this is a seven-day-a-week business.
• 5:23
SPEAKER_01: It is, it is, and it's it's not a hobby.
• 5:26
  SPEAKER_01: No, it's not a hobby.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_01: You know, if you think it's a hobby, it's not.
• 5:28
  SPEAKER_00: Well, if there's a plan B, you don't belong here.
• 5:30
  SPEAKER_01: That's right.
• 5:31
  SPEAKER_01: There's no plan B.
• 5:32
  SPEAKER_00: There is no plan.
• 5:33
  SPEAKER_00: What do you do?
• 5:34
SPEAKER_00: What are you and your wife's adorable, by the way?
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy I got to meet her this week.
• 5:38

SPEAKER_01: We live unf we're we're very fortunate to live in a in a neighborhood community where it's like a resort.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_01: So that's great.

• 5:54
SPEAKER_00: Do you ever just take like a Robert Day?
• 5:55
SPEAKER_00: You're like, I'm not writing, I'm not singing, I'm not watching a musical, I'm not like Oh yeah, for sure.
• 6:00
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's much needed.
• 6:02
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_01: Because it's so and then especially after this week.
• 6:06
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh, I know.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_00: And I actually feel sorry for artists this week because as they're walking their way up and down, like people like me, but I know you'd always do my show, are grabbing you guys for interviews.
• 6:16

  SPEAKER_01: I don't care about that.
• 7:03
