Mastodon’s New Album Without Brent Hinds | Music News
Mastodon’s haunting new album Marrow Deep drops August 28th — their first without guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds, who passed last year. Drummer Brann Dailor admits he’s unsure if Brent would’ve loved the record, recalling how Brent sometimes pushed the band away from their heavier sound. But Dailor also imagines Brent adding his signature flair to certain tracks, especially since the album was inspired by him. The first single, “Your Ghost Again,” dropped in June, and they’ve just unveiled a second track, “Snakes for Dinner,” featuring Josh Homme. The band’s North American tour kicks off…
