- 1:26Speaker 2: soon on this tour. I will be with Justin Martindale
- 1:29Speaker 2: performing stand-up comedy at the beautiful Meritage Resort in Napa.
- 1:35Speaker 2: They have an amazing resort. You want to stay there.
- 1:37Speaker 2: You want to come see us. You go to heathermcdonald.net
- 1:40Speaker 2: for tickets. And that is Saturday, July 22nd. So make
- 1:44Speaker 2: sure you see that. We did another photo of him
- 1:47Speaker 2: on this poster, if you're watching this on YouTube, in
- 1:49Speaker 2: which his highlights are intact. So thank you for that.
- 1:54Speaker 2: All right. First, this happened yesterday at the Village Inn
- 1:58Speaker 2: in Sherman Oaks. Friend, I think she's been on Juicy
- 2:02Speaker 2: Scoop four or five times, Kimberly Archie, who used to
- 2:06Speaker 2: work for Tom Girardi, who is best friends with the
- 2:09Speaker 2: Rigomez family, in which their child son was the burn
- 2:15Speaker 2: victim who got completely screwed over by Tom Girardi, not
- 2:18Speaker 2: giving him his $ 11 million that he won from the
- 2:22Speaker 2: gas company that blew up his home. Okay, so Kimberly
- 2:26Speaker 2: Archie also, sadly, has a son who passed away, and
- 2:30Speaker 2: she created an ice cream in his name. And so
- 2:33Speaker 2: she was having an ice cream event to launch Paul's
- 2:37Speaker 2: Ice Cream, which is the ice cream that she's doing.
- 2:40Speaker 2: And so there was some word, I talked to her
- 2:45Speaker 2: last night, that maybe Erika Jayne might come. She really
- 2:49Speaker 2: didn't know. Their attorneys have been talking. And Erica did
- 2:55Speaker 2: come yesterday afternoon, and Page Six was there to report
- 3:00Speaker 2: on it. And they went into a private room, the
- 3:03Speaker 2: LA Times, which has been responsible for the big LA
- 3:07Speaker 2: Times article that Sutton read from beginning to end. Nobody
- 3:10Speaker 2: else knew how to read the LA Times, nor did
- 3:13Speaker 2: they want to pay a dollar for the online subscription.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So they were there. They're going to do, I think, another, obviously,
- 3:20Speaker 2: story on it. They're following it, maybe another documentary. I'm
- 3:24Speaker 2: not sure. So they were there in the room and
- 3:27Speaker 2: it went on for an hour and a half between
- 3:30Speaker 2: Erica Jane and several of the victims of Tom Girardi,
- 3:35Speaker 2: in which he represented them, won the money, and then
- 3:37Speaker 2: they never saw the money in a nutshell. And there
- 3:40Speaker 2: was always questions of how much Erica knew. Erica's been
- 3:43Speaker 2: pulled into lawsuits. So I think it's really great that
- 3:46Speaker 2: she came. I always said, you know, I think that
- 3:49Speaker 2: she in some ways got some really bad advice in
- 3:52Speaker 2: the beginning of this case. of you know I think
- 3:55Speaker 2: she was blindsided about what happened but that's what she
- 3:57Speaker 2: should have said right from the start she should have
- 4:00Speaker 2: said I feel terrible for these former clients now victims
- 4:04Speaker 2: of my husband I feel blindsided I don't know who
- 4:06Speaker 2: the hell I was married to but instead we saw
- 4:09Speaker 2: her on the show being very closed off because I
- 4:12Speaker 2: think attorneys kind of were like don't say anything don't
- 4:15Speaker 2: say this say alleged victims and that just did not
- 4:18Speaker 2: bode well for her but now She's thin as can be.
- 4:22Speaker 2: She's got a tour in Las Vegas and she is
- 4:26Speaker 2: acting like a normal, nice person that I think that
- 4:29Speaker 2: she can be now that she's kind of come out
- 4:31Speaker 2: from under it. And she wants to help these victims
- 4:36Speaker 2: any way she can. That is what I've heard. So
- 4:39Speaker 2: hopefully there will be some resolve. Hopefully these people will
- 4:42Speaker 2: get their money. And, you know, she's this was a
- 4:46Speaker 2: great move for her. And I believe it was genuine.
- 4:50Speaker 2: She stayed several hours and people enjoyed the ice cream. Okay.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I watched The Real Housewives of New York, the new cast.
- 4:57Speaker 2: There were people in the Bravo world that was like, no,
- 5:00Speaker 2: we don't like that you got rid of the entire
- 5:03Speaker 2: Real Housewives of New York cast that we've loved. The Ramona, Sonia, Luann, Dorinda,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Jill Zarek. What with these new people? What? Okay. I
- 5:12Speaker 2: think it was a great idea. I think it was great.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It's being very well received on my Facebook group, Juicy
- 5:19Speaker 2: Scoop Obsessed. Many people are saying like, wow, maybe we
- 5:23Speaker 2: need to do this with a lot of the older franchises. Again,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I never want to see any of these women lose
- 5:30Speaker 2: their jobs, but I do like adding, picking the best
- 5:34Speaker 2: cities because those cities are dynamic. The backdrop of New
- 5:38Speaker 2: York is a character in itself. I love watching movies
- 5:42Speaker 2: and TV shows in which they're filmed in New York
- 5:45Speaker 2: And so we get to see that with this. The
- 5:48Speaker 2: girls are stylish. It makes me want to dress better.
- 5:52Speaker 2: They're wearing black and they're chic. And it's like, there's
- 5:55Speaker 2: this Jenna lines that everyone talks about. And she is
- 5:58Speaker 2: an out lesbian. She is a mother and she is
- 6:02Speaker 2: chic and she's 54. But the rest of the cast
- 6:05Speaker 2: appears to be early forties at the oldest. And, you know,
- 6:10Speaker 2: some of them have kids. One girl is like single and,
- 6:14Speaker 2: it seems like they really do like each other. And
- 6:16Speaker 2: I think we're going to see a season of not
- 6:18Speaker 2: a lot of drama, but like a lot of chic fun,
- 6:20Speaker 2: which I kind of think the Bravo world could use
- 6:23Speaker 2: right now. And so it starts out in the beginning
- 6:26Speaker 2: where they're kind of arguing that this one girl said,
- 6:30Speaker 2: yet this other girl's charcuterie board sucked and cheese is
- 6:34Speaker 2: lame and weird. That seemed to be stretched out a bit.
- 6:37Speaker 2: We never saw that on camera. That was annoying. But
- 6:40Speaker 2: then they also talked about how They were supposed to
- 6:43Speaker 2: have a dinner and two girls bailed and went to
- 6:45Speaker 2: a more chic restaurant, Cipriani's, and bailed on this restaurant.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And the two girls are like, it's not 2006. Later
- 6:54Speaker 2: on they said it's not 2012. And they are bleeping
- 6:57Speaker 2: the names of this restaurant that these girls felt was lame.
- 7:01Speaker 2: They're not a D-list model. They're not like some loser
- 7:06Speaker 2: that would go there. It's not 2012. I actually thought
- 7:09Speaker 2: that was kind of a great argument. for women of
- 7:13Speaker 2: a certain socioeconomic social structure and that that might happen
- 7:18Speaker 2: where people are like, ew. Like, we've done that with
- 7:20Speaker 2: girls' dinners where we're like, what? Again? Why is she
- 7:24Speaker 2: picking that place? It fucking sucks. Do you want to
- 7:26Speaker 2: say anything? No, let's not say anything. I just wanted
- 7:30Speaker 2: to call you and get off the group chat because
- 7:31Speaker 2: I'm just like, ugh. Like, if we're going to go out,
- 7:34Speaker 2: if I'm going to get a sitter, can we please
- 7:35Speaker 2: try to get a hipper spot? Like, I liked that. Again,
- 7:39Speaker 2: I would have liked to see that on camera, but
- 7:42Speaker 2: it wasn't. Anyway, people think it's the restaurant catch based
- 7:46Speaker 2: on how they spoke, what they said. I don't know
- 7:49Speaker 2: what restaurant it was. Anyone can invite me to catch
- 7:53Speaker 2: any day or towel or whatever restaurant was hip and
- 7:57Speaker 2: I believe still great today. I don't care. A meal
- 7:59Speaker 2: is a meal. I'm with the other girls. So that
- 8:02Speaker 2: was really well received. People are loving it. They're rich.
- 8:04Speaker 2: They're chic. They're young. It's fun. And I'm so grateful
- 8:08Speaker 2: that they didn't put some of these girls and put
- 8:12Speaker 2: them with like Ramona and Luann and Sonia and try
- 8:15Speaker 2: to mesh them together the way they did with Ebony
- 8:18Speaker 2: and Leah. It didn't work. It was a disaster. They've
- 8:22Speaker 2: learned their lesson. The women have to be– if they're
- 8:26Speaker 2: not already friends– They would be friends based on their age,
- 8:30Speaker 2: what they do for a living, their socioeconomic level. We
- 8:34Speaker 2: want aspiration. We want beautiful homes. We want stylish things
- 8:37Speaker 2: we haven't seen before. That is what it's giving. Now,
- 8:42Speaker 2: this girl had these earrings on, and I have them.
- 8:46Speaker 2: They were my mother's. My mother bought them at iMagnum.
- 8:49Speaker 2: By the way, Shannon Bedore's family owned iMagnum or had
- 8:52Speaker 2: something to do with it, and It was a big
- 8:56Speaker 2: purchase for her. Sold a house or something. They're Chanel
- 9:00Speaker 2: big pearls with gold around it. They're from probably like 1986.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And she had a pair. So I'm like, I'm going
- 9:06Speaker 2: to wear them today because I feel like upping my
- 9:09Speaker 2: style since watching this show. Big brawl happened on the
- 9:14Speaker 2: set of Potomac. Apparently they were filming Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Allegedly the cameras were down, but video caught this. TMZ.
- 9:24Speaker 2: received it and it is horrible. It is like a
- 9:27Speaker 2: full on brawl of like pounding on someone's head. And
- 9:30Speaker 2: this is what happened. If you're familiar with the Potomac
- 9:35Speaker 2: or not, it was actually two friends of the main
- 9:38Speaker 2: cast members who have been trying, I guess, to get
- 9:40Speaker 2: on the show. And Candace, who is a main star,
- 9:44Speaker 2: she sings. She has this husband who's a chef. He's white.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Last season, there was talk that he was flirty with people,
- 9:52Speaker 2: which never proven to be true. And this one girl
- 9:56Speaker 2: named Deborah, who was a friend of Deborah, was a
- 10:00Speaker 2: friend of, let me see. I don't know. Deborah was
- 10:05Speaker 2: a friend of one of the other girls, Ashley Darby.
- 10:08Speaker 2: She was a friend of Ashley Darby's. And She said
- 10:11Speaker 2: all last season that Candace's husband was hitting on her.
- 10:16Speaker 2: And it really reminded me a lot of Jamie Foxx's
- 10:19Speaker 2: character in In Living Color who was like had this
- 10:23Speaker 2: face and was cross-eyed. But the joke was that the
- 10:26Speaker 2: character thought that she was like everyone wanted her and
- 10:29Speaker 2: she was so hot. She had like this unbelievable confidence.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And that's the way I felt like this girl was
- 10:34Speaker 2: in the show. Like she just was like, well, you know,
- 10:36Speaker 2: when you look like this, everybody wants you. So Candace
- 10:39Speaker 2: confronts her. Allegedly, this is what started the fight. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: then this other friend of, named Kiana, walked in and
- 10:49Speaker 2: got herself involved. And the two of them started brawling.
- 10:52Speaker 2: The two friends of, not even real cast members, started brawling.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I mean, pounding on heads, rolling on the ground. Other
- 11:00Speaker 2: cast members tried to break it up. And so, but
- 11:05Speaker 2: they're saying that... Who threw the first punch first? The
- 11:10Speaker 2: other girl threw it and then the Deborah. Who cares?
- 11:13Speaker 2: It is pretty disturbing. It's pretty awful. It's pretty lowbrow.
- 11:16Speaker 2: It's giving girls, you know, bad girls club. But, you know, well,
- 11:23Speaker 2: now people are going to want to watch. Was this
- 11:25Speaker 2: fight really necessary? It seemed like it came out of
- 11:27Speaker 2: nowhere when you watched the video. Kim Zolciak and her husband, Croy,
- 11:32Speaker 2: are back together. Radar Online has released all the body
- 11:37Speaker 2: cam videos from the police that have been called to
- 11:39Speaker 2: their house when they were fighting over Kim's handbags. She
- 11:44Speaker 2: was trying to take all her expensive handbags in a car.
- 11:47Speaker 2: He was saying that's community property. The cop comes and
- 11:50Speaker 2: then the cop is just basically being a therapist to
- 11:53Speaker 2: both of them. She's saying he's mentally ill. He's crazy.
- 11:57Speaker 2: She says, you know what he needs to do? He
- 11:59Speaker 2: needs to get a frickin job. He hasn't worked in
- 12:01Speaker 2: seven years. OK, so she's bitter. about doing all of her,
- 12:04Speaker 2: you know, selling her products and stuff online, even though
- 12:08Speaker 2: he's filming it now. And even though she said he's
- 12:10Speaker 2: the greatest thing ever, she's resentful that she's the one
- 12:13Speaker 2: responsible for bringing in the initial dollars. And he no
- 12:16Speaker 2: longer is. He's telling everybody, he's telling the cops, she
- 12:21Speaker 2: has spent $ 1. 5 million in two years gambling. She does
- 12:24Speaker 2: it from the moment she wakes up to the moment
- 12:26Speaker 2: she goes to sleep. She does it online. There's no
- 12:28Speaker 2: way to stop her. We literally have nothing but this house.
- 12:32Speaker 2: We sleep in the same bed because I have a
- 12:35Speaker 2: bad back and I don't want to sleep on the
- 12:37Speaker 2: couch from playing football. And the cop is like, oh, man,
- 12:39Speaker 2: I know I I was, you know, in Iraq and
- 12:42Speaker 2: like they're they're kind of bonding. And so but they're
- 12:47Speaker 2: back together now. Interesting. They they probably are not thrilled
- 12:51Speaker 2: that this got out or maybe they did. What is
- 12:55Speaker 2: going on? If it's not a fake kidnapping, it's a
- 12:57Speaker 2: fake divorce. What came first, a fake divorce or fake kidnapping?
- 13:00Speaker 2: I don't know. We're going to get into that later
- 13:02Speaker 2: in the show. Mauricio, speaking of fake divorces, and Kyle,
- 13:09Speaker 2: Erica Jane said, you're going to see it come out
- 13:11Speaker 2: in the show. I'm going to let her speak for herself.
- 13:14Speaker 2: But no, they're not getting divorced. Meanwhile, he's doing thirst traps.
- 13:17Speaker 2: He's posting photos of his good body working out in
- 13:20Speaker 2: the gym. You know, I'm sure if I had a
- 13:22Speaker 2: listing with Mauricio, I was like, well, could you at
- 13:25Speaker 2: least do a slideshow of my backyard? Because it's been
- 13:27Speaker 2: on the market for three months. I don't know. But
- 13:30Speaker 2: the landscape of his chest was pretty nice. Real Housewives
- 13:34Speaker 2: of O.C. That's been on for a while. It seems
- 13:37Speaker 2: like it's been about three months since they've been in Montana.
- 13:40Speaker 2: They took the girls from the O.C. to Montana. It's
- 13:43Speaker 2: very much a simple life. It's very, very much Luann
- 13:46Speaker 2: and Sonia go to Crappy Lake. So they're trying to,
- 13:51Speaker 2: you know, shovel shit and eat elk or I don't know.
- 13:55Speaker 2: The only juicy thing about it is that there's this
- 13:58Speaker 2: new girl named Jen who clearly has only been asked
- 14:02Speaker 2: to be on the show because she met her husband
- 14:04Speaker 2: at Tamara's gym. He's known as the town, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 2: philandering cheat guy who's never been married. And she met
- 14:14Speaker 2: him and started dating him and seeing him while she
- 14:16Speaker 2: was still married. So everyone has a problem with that.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But then Tamara says that when he first came to
- 14:25Speaker 2: the gym, her friend told her that he pointed at
- 14:27Speaker 2: Tamara and said, I'm going to F her. And the
- 14:30Speaker 2: friend goes, well, you know, she's married to the owner
- 14:32Speaker 2: of the gym. They own the gym together. She's happily
- 14:34Speaker 2: married to Eddie. And he goes, I don't care. Watch me.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'm going to F her. According to this, according to
- 14:40Speaker 2: the timeline, and maybe I'm missing something, Tamara then befriended Jen,
- 14:47Speaker 2: her new boyfriend, Ryan, who said he wanted to F Tamara.
- 14:51Speaker 2: They've gone out. They've hung out. Eddie likes them. They're
- 14:53Speaker 2: all friends. They get on the show. And then once
- 14:56Speaker 2: they're filming in Montana and it's boring, the pro known
- 15:02Speaker 2: as Tamara goes, And by the way, I didn't want
- 15:04Speaker 2: to say anything, but when your husband first came to
- 15:07Speaker 2: the gym, he saw me first and said, I'm going
- 15:10Speaker 2: to F her before he pursued you. So a lot
- 15:14Speaker 2: of people are like, wow, is that a good friend
- 15:17Speaker 2: or is that just a really good housewife? I don't know.
- 15:21Speaker 2: But he does look a lot like Paul Nassif, this
- 15:25Speaker 2: new guy, Ryan, who's Jen's boyfriend. He looks a lot
- 15:28Speaker 2: like Paul Nassif, Dr. Paul Nassif from Bodged. who was
- 15:32Speaker 2: on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And this is thanks
- 15:35Speaker 2: to Bravo Breaking News. And I simply cannot see it.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I think they absolutely look alike. So many of the
- 15:43Speaker 2: women on OC look alike. I can't. Everybody has the
- 15:46Speaker 2: same filler, lips, spray tan, heavy black eyelashes. I do
- 15:52Speaker 2: like that about Real Housewives of New York. I like
- 15:55Speaker 2: their makeup. I like their style. It is kind of refreshing.
- 15:59Speaker 2: But that's what's cool about it. This is the New York.
- 16:02Speaker 2: This is the East Coast. This is the West Coast.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You can pick and choose what you like from either,
- 16:08Speaker 2: but hopefully it's not those heavy, awful lashes. Okay, you guys.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Now let's bring in your favorite, Chris Frangiola, and get
- 16:17Speaker 2: into all the hot, hot topics that have been happening
- 16:19Speaker 2: in the news. Let's do it. Hello and welcome to
- 16:23Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop. As promised, the favorite, Chris Frangiola.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Tanned.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Looking rich. That's what I was going for.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Looking 1%. Looking generational wealth.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Fresh from Montauk for two weeks.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Welcome back to.
- 16:42Speaker 2: The Peasant Studio of Juicy Scoop.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Well, not only is it a Peasant Studio, it's a
- 16:46Speaker 1: family-run operation here at Juicy Scoop. And I've never seen
- 16:50Speaker 1: it more family-run than it's currently what just happened leading
- 16:53Speaker 1: up to now. I mean, it's like being... I feel
- 16:57Speaker 1: like I'm... I'm filming like a reality show about a
- 17:01Speaker 1: family that's not doing well. And I'm like the cameraman
- 17:05Speaker 1: who's just trying to stay out of the way.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Well, one thing, as you know, in the growth of
- 17:11Speaker 2: the eight years of Juicy Scoop, you once said, you
- 17:17Speaker 2: had to come to the old studio. You came to Calabasas.
- 17:20Speaker 2: You came to our little studio.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Bedrooms, different bedrooms.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Different bedrooms, kitchen, living room. And you said... I feel
- 17:27Speaker 2: like I'm the guinea pig. And so now we do
- 17:31Speaker 2: treat you as the guinea pig.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Which is fine.
- 17:32Speaker 2: So we're trying something new a little bit production-wise today.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And you're the person we're going to try it out on.
- 17:38Speaker 1: There's a lot of screaming through the walls. So far
- 17:43Speaker 1: it seems to be working smoothly.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Whatever. It's about the content. It's about the juicy content.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You guys don't need to know what happens behind the scenes.
- 17:50Speaker 2: And we both look cute.
- 17:52Speaker 1: We're trying.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I had a great weekend. And Trina Turk... makes this
- 17:58Speaker 2: cute sweater and short set. And I went to the
- 18:01Speaker 2: Reagan Library with Brandon for the Auschwitz exhibit.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:06Speaker 2: And I wore this.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a little much.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I knew people would love it, but I didn't want
- 18:11Speaker 2: to say, hey, this is what I'm wearing.
- 18:14Speaker 1: At the Auschwitz exhibit.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but a lot of people commented just in me saying, hey,
- 18:18Speaker 2: go see this exhibit. It was really great. People were like,
- 18:22Speaker 2: where'd you get that sweater? So I'm like, okay, I
- 18:24Speaker 2: think I'm going to wear it On Monday with Chris
- 18:27Speaker 2: and give it a proper shout out to how cute
- 18:31Speaker 2: it is.
- 18:31Speaker 1: It is very cute. I don't know if I'd wear
- 18:34Speaker 1: it at the Auschwitz exhibit, but yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah. And I'm wearing these earrings, which were my mother's,
- 18:40Speaker 2: but I saw one of the Real Housewives of New
- 18:42Speaker 2: York was wearing them. There's a new young cast now.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And I just got off the phone with Jill Zarin.
- 18:49Speaker 2: And I was telling her what I thought. And we
- 18:52Speaker 2: were saying, because I already talked about this, so I
- 18:54Speaker 2: just want to recap. But there was one girl on
- 18:57Speaker 2: the show that left mid-filming. And I think that's why
- 19:01Speaker 2: this first episode, it was a little confusing. They didn't
- 19:04Speaker 2: give their big, long intros of how they all met
- 19:05Speaker 2: each other because they had to cut around this girl
- 19:08Speaker 2: who left abruptly.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Why?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Well, she was an Orthodox Jewish woman who was married.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And she was a matchmaker. And allegedly there was a
- 19:18Speaker 2: conversation between her and this girl who is, I forgot
- 19:23Speaker 2: what country she's from, but she's black. Yeah. And about
- 19:26Speaker 2: matching her. And she said, well, I'm a Jewish matchmaker.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And the whole point is to find both people being Jewish.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Oh, got it.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Something got misinterpreted. Some back and forth. Something allegedly happened
- 19:41Speaker 2: where it wasn't pleasant. It was all too much. And
- 19:45Speaker 2: they just were like, goodbye. So now they're cutting around it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:47Speaker 2: In my opinion.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Got it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It. But I'm going to be with Jill Zarin.
- 19:52Speaker 1: But the earrings look nice.
- 19:53Speaker 2: The earrings look nice. I'm wearing them. I'm like, this
- 19:55Speaker 2: is chic. They're from 1986. But you were in Montauk.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I'm going there after we do our shows. We have
- 20:03Speaker 2: our shows at the 10th is... I forgot all the dates.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Red Bank, New Jersey.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Red Bank, New Jersey. Then we're doing Foxwoods.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Foxwoods and Casino Connecticut.
- 20:13Speaker 2: And then we're doing the Huntington.
- 20:14Speaker 1: We're doing the Paramount Theater in Huntington, Long Island. Long Island.
- 20:17Speaker 1: My hometown.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:18Speaker 1: My people.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Chris and I are going to do all that together.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Then I'm relaxing for the week, staying with Jill Zarin
- 20:24Speaker 2: part of the time and with my other friend, Lisa Parker,
- 20:26Speaker 2: who lives in Amagansett.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Amagansett. I just was there yesterday.
- 20:30Speaker 2: And so- listen, you're telling me all these great things.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'm putting it out to the juicy scoopers to hook
- 20:36Speaker 2: me up. Like sure. I can get at least a
- 20:37Speaker 2: reservation for a cute lunch somewhere. Cause I know it's
- 20:40Speaker 2: going to be crazy.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Let me just tell you this.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I am just a cog in the wheel here on
- 20:45Speaker 1: juicy scoop. I've met, there are many other gays and
- 20:48Speaker 1: lesbians who are loved more than me on this show. And, um, True.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I was counting out my gay and lesbian friends, and
- 20:56Speaker 2: it is a lot, and I'm thrilled to say that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Well, I'll say this.
- 20:58Speaker 2: You're probably my only straight friend.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I know. I really am. Which is questionable. I mean,
- 21:03Speaker 1: look at me. But I couldn't walk down the streets. Montauk, Amagansett,
- 21:10Speaker 1: East Hampton, you name it. Juicy Scoop.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Really? We love you. Then I've got a show in
- 21:16Speaker 2: West Hampton's on, I think, the 18th. So I hope
- 21:19Speaker 2: people go to that. Yeah. Yes.
- 21:22Speaker 1: But anyway, you're going to love it. I can't believe
- 21:24Speaker 1: this is not your world.
- 21:26Speaker 2: It is my world. I've gone a few times because
- 21:29Speaker 2: both my friends, Lisa and Jill, have invited me over
- 21:31Speaker 2: the years. But I haven't been since before COVID. Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 2: So it's been a few years. And every time I go,
- 21:37Speaker 2: I love it. I have to really think about my
- 21:40Speaker 2: outfits because I want to look good. Rich, chic, generational wealth.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:47Speaker 2: East coast.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Sure, sure.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Where are you summering in Europe? Yeah. You know, that
- 21:52Speaker 2: kind of a thing, which is completely opposite of my life.
- 21:55Speaker 2: And so I got to be, I got to figure
- 21:59Speaker 2: it out while still looking cute.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Looking for a getaway that's truly special? Ireland's Blue Book
- 22:04Speaker 3: has just what you need. From country houses to boutique hotels,

- 22:18Speaker 3: your next luxury escape.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 22:25Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 22:28Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 22:32Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 22:40Speaker 1: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 22:43Speaker 1: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 22:45Speaker 1: was given back?
- 22:46Speaker 5: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 22:49Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 22:51Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 22:53Speaker 1: home dad.
- 22:53Speaker 5: What happens next?
- 22:54Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 23:01Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 23:03Speaker 5: happens next.
- 23:04Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 23:08Speaker 2: You're worth the work.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 23:11Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 23:13Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Can I tell you the hottest trend that I've noticed? Yes,
- 23:29Speaker 1: please do. I was there two weeks, and the hottest
- 23:31Speaker 1: trend this summer is no bra. No bra is the
- 23:35Speaker 1: hottest trend.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Of the summer. Is it still under? What about under-tick cleavage?
- 23:38Speaker 1: I haven't seen a lot of under-tick cleavage.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Just no bra.
- 23:40Speaker 1: No bra. Just nips cold. And I happened to mention
- 23:43Speaker 1: it to my wife. I'm like, I'm noticing a lot
- 23:44Speaker 1: of this. She goes, oh, yeah. That's this. She goes,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you won't see a bra strap in this summer anywhere.
- 23:52Speaker 2: What was the era of burning the bra?
- 23:54Speaker 1: Yeah, like whatever, Gloria Steinem.
- 23:57Speaker 2: So leave my bras at home.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I guess, you know.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Leave my nipple. Like who needs a silicone nipple cover?
- 24:04Speaker 2: You want hard nipples perking.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That's what you want, hard nipples perking.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Okay, I can do that.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's what I noticed.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Because I keep those nipple covers for so long that
- 24:13Speaker 2: they lose all their stickiness. You're supposed to only wear
- 24:16Speaker 2: them like three times, but you know me, I'm a
- 24:17Speaker 2: cheap bitch. So then all of a sudden you're walking
- 24:20Speaker 2: through the night and you realize one is gone. One
- 24:23Speaker 2: nips just like Lincoln.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That's not generational.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And one is still on.
- 24:27Speaker 1: That's not generational wealth.
- 24:28Speaker 2: No, no.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Nipple covers are sliding off.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Okay. Got it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Well, good. Have fun.
- 24:33Speaker 2: What about like flowy? Is it long flowy dresses? Is
- 24:36Speaker 2: it still white jeans and like a tennis shoe? What
- 24:40Speaker 2: is it? Can I be at all like slutty lady
- 24:43Speaker 2: in too short of a skirt or absolutely not? That
- 24:45Speaker 2: screams Ramona Singer.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I didn't see a lot of shoes. You know what
- 24:48Speaker 1: you're seeing, and I never see you wear this, but
- 24:50Speaker 1: I think you should. Okay, please do. It's like that
- 24:53Speaker 1: kind of larger boyfriend jean type situation rolled. I'm telling you,
- 24:58Speaker 1: that's where it's at. It looks good. Big, chunky shoe.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Have some fun with it.
- 25:03Speaker 2: A chunky shoe with my tiny ankles looks horrific.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Well, all right. I'm just letting you know what's going
- 25:10Speaker 1: on out there. You know? The Jessica Seinfelds of the world.
- 25:14Speaker 2: From the fashionistas who know my body, can I have
- 25:18Speaker 2: some other suggestions besides a giant boyfriend jean? So you're
- 25:21Speaker 2: telling me giant boyfriend jean, giant chunky.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Not that one. Not the giant boyfriend jean that's like
- 25:26Speaker 1: pulled up to your.
- 25:27Speaker 2: No, low, low. Which I don't have a great flat stomach.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And then a wife beater tank. Yes. Nothing else.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Yes. Now you're talking.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Cool sunglasses.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Now you're going to be... accepted everywhere. You can go from, see,
- 25:42Speaker 1: here's the thing with Montauk and the Hamptons. There are several,
- 25:45Speaker 1: you could go from everywhere. There's a place called the
- 25:47Speaker 1: Montauket that everyone goes for sunset.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And it's hip and it's fun, but it's just a
- 25:51Speaker 1: shitty beach bar.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You could go from there down to Durier's, which is
- 25:56Speaker 1: like the, I mean, literally the, the, the prime minister
- 25:58Speaker 1: of France pulling up on a yacht.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?
- 26:02Speaker 1: That kind of stuff. So, and you could do both.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You could, you could, you know, you could move throughout.
- 26:07Speaker 1: That's what, you know, I'm just telling you these are
- 26:10Speaker 1: the things that get you both places.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Well.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Scarpetta Beach and Gurney's. There's a girl who hooked me
- 26:15Speaker 1: up with it on Juicy Scooper.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I'm going by myself after you leave. I'll be by
- 26:22Speaker 2: myself with my girlfriends. I will be living a open
- 26:27Speaker 2: marriage that week. I haven't told Peter.
- 26:29Speaker 1: He doesn't care.
- 26:31Speaker 2: No, but I'm not going to be doing that. But
- 26:32Speaker 2: I am going to be looking for... Whatever comes my way.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Can I tell you one tragedy that happened while we
- 26:37Speaker 1: were there?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Please.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Sadly. Not a real tragedy.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:41Speaker 1: We were over on Shelter Island, which is around, like,
- 26:43Speaker 1: across from Sag Harbor. And there's a hotel there called, like,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Sunset Beach Hotel or something. It's a cool little spot.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I'd never been there before. I've always read about it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I wanted to go.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Anyway, we make a reservation. And it's a scene. It's
- 26:56Speaker 1: a scene. It's a Euro trashy kind of scene.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I kind of like that.
- 26:59Speaker 1: But fun. I know. But in a good way.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Anyway, I have two people with us. I'm not going
- 27:06Speaker 1: to say any more than that, but two people with
- 27:07Speaker 1: us who aren't as hip as me. I like to
- 27:09Speaker 1: think I am.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Or my wife. Anyway.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Dragging you. Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 1: They got a lot of sunscreen on their face.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Oh, God. They didn't rub it in?
- 27:17Speaker 1: No. We look like Casper the Friendly Goat. Just all
- 27:21Speaker 1: over his face. And whatever. Cargo shorts. Flip-flop. I know.
- 27:26Speaker 1: The whole thing.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Looks like they just got off the Carnival Cruise.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Exactly. They might as well be wearing matching Disney jackets.
- 27:36Speaker 2: They got a shirt that says, ship happens. They're all
- 27:39Speaker 2: wearing it.
- 27:41Speaker 1: 100%. You know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 27:44Speaker 2: This is tough. I know.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So how far ahead do you watch? We pull up
- 27:47Speaker 1: to the parking lot, and now I'm taking it all in.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I got my whole, I got what I want on,
- 27:53Speaker 1: my sunglasses, everything's right. And I'm taking it all in,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and I see them making a beeline to the hostess stand.
- 27:59Speaker 1: And I'm like, what are they doing?
- 28:01Speaker 5: What?
- 28:01Speaker 1: I told my wife. I said, what? Stop them. I'll
- 28:03Speaker 1: do the talking.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:05Speaker 1: They had already beat us to it. They were like, oh,
- 28:08Speaker 1: we have a table for, I mean, you thought they
- 28:10Speaker 1: were at Applebee's. And, oh, no. And they gave us
- 28:14Speaker 1: a table because they were dealing with sunscreen face.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 1: You know, they give us a table, no umbrella by
- 28:20Speaker 1: the bathroom. And I'm like, it's because they did the talking. Anyway.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Well, recently that happened to me where we got there.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Our friends already got there. And, um, and my friend
- 28:33Speaker 2: Liz said, I think we can, I don't like this table.
- 28:36Speaker 2: We were right by the bar and the bathroom in
- 28:39Speaker 2: the corner.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 2: And I said, you know what? I'm going to see
- 28:43Speaker 2: if we can. And I just very nicely said, Hey, I'm,
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'm not in love with my table. Don't know if
- 28:49Speaker 2: it's possible, but do you think we could do any better?
- 28:52Speaker 2: And she looked me up and down and she goes, yes,
- 28:53Speaker 2: I do think we could do better. Yeah. And we
- 28:55Speaker 2: did do better. See? We got the best table in
- 28:57Speaker 2: the house. Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I know. You gotta let, you gotta let the, The
- 29:00Speaker 1: people who know what they're doing do the talking. Yeah. Well,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I did try and make it better. And this hotel
- 29:07Speaker 1: is owned by Andre Balazs.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Oh, our old friend.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Our old friend.
- 29:10Speaker 2: He vacationed with Andre Balazs when he was dating Chelsea.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So I told them that.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Did you tell him that he had Chewy right on
- 29:17Speaker 2: his back to get from the boat to the sand?
- 29:20Speaker 1: He treated Chewy as if he was like, you know, whatever.
- 29:23Speaker 2: But.
- 29:25Speaker 1: so i went up to the hostess and this woman
- 29:26Speaker 1: had obviously heard this line a million.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Times in the last ten years i'm friends with andre.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah i was like is this still andre's
- 29:32Speaker 1: place yes it is i'm like is andre i'm a
- 29:34Speaker 1: friend and she's like she looked at me like yeah
- 29:36Speaker 1: you and everyone else like go back to your table
- 29:39Speaker 1: by the by the by the kitchen. You loser. And
- 29:41Speaker 1: I was like, okay, thank you.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Don't worry. We'll be leaving at 4 when the cruise
- 29:46Speaker 2: ship takes off. We'll be at the dock.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Exactly, right. With our hair braided. You know, you get
- 29:51Speaker 1: the hair braided on the beach and a henna tattoo
- 29:54Speaker 1: on our hands.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Well, okay. Well, I'm excited to go. Reach out to me, people,
- 30:00Speaker 2: if you've got the hookup.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Have fun. Enjoy it.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm excited to go. It's the greatest.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Just breaking news. TMZ is reporting that Ariana Grande and
- 30:07Speaker 2: Dalton Gomez are separated and headed for a divorce.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 30:11Speaker 2: She met him. They were seen making out in 2020. Yes.
- 30:14Speaker 2: When you're not supposed to be making out. That was
- 30:16Speaker 2: high COVID times. I don't know what the hell they
- 30:18Speaker 2: were thinking, but they clearly both got tested and then
- 30:20Speaker 2: started to make out.
- 30:23Speaker 1: It said they were seen making out at a Bar
- 30:25Speaker 1: Louie in Northridge.
- 30:26Speaker 2: No.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys, most people know what
- 30:28Speaker 1: a Bar Louis is. It's not, it's a good place,
- 30:31Speaker 1: but it's like a chain of like bar restaurants.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That was like the only one, the only place open
- 30:35Speaker 2: or something.
- 30:36Speaker 1: They're usually open late, so like after comedy shows, if
- 30:38Speaker 1: you're playing like some shitty cities.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Mine was TGI Fridays.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it's a similar vibe.
- 30:43Speaker 2: We would always go there after I did like a
- 30:44Speaker 2: play at my high school, Louisville, because it would be
- 30:46Speaker 2: the only place that'd be open.
- 30:47Speaker 1: At like 1030. Yeah, for us it was Friendly's, but
- 30:49Speaker 1: a similar vibe.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it. Anyway, they said they're going to
- 30:53Speaker 2: remain good friends, blah, blah, blah. He was like her
- 30:55Speaker 2: realtor or something.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And, you know, she decided to marry a normie.
- 30:59Speaker 1: It was right off the Pete Davidson engagement this happened.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So it was never built on a solid foundation.
- 31:07Speaker 2: She was seen at Wimbledon without a ring. And now
- 31:10Speaker 2: it's confirmed that, like, it's kaputs.
- 31:13Speaker 1: And she was sitting next to Andrew Garfield, I believe,
- 31:16Speaker 1: at Wimbledon. And so the rumors were abuzz.
- 31:20Speaker 2: So I have a prediction.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 31:22Speaker 2: This little Dalton Gomez with his real estate license. will
- 31:27Speaker 2: be picked up either by Selling Sunset or buying Beverly
- 31:31Speaker 2: Hills with Mauricio.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Great idea.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Because they like when someone has an exciting ex. Right
- 31:37Speaker 2: now on Selling Sunset, originally they got Chris Schell because
- 31:41Speaker 2: she was married to the Us guy. This is Us.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Then now they have like number eight of the nine
- 31:47Speaker 2: baby mamas of No Disrespect, whatever, Bree, whatever. She's fun
- 31:54Speaker 2: to watch.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Nick Cannon.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Nick Cannon. So now he will be able to come
- 31:58Speaker 2: and tell a good story. And also they, the Selling
- 32:02Speaker 2: Sunset in OC had this cute guy who was married
- 32:05Speaker 2: to the girl from Pitch Perfect. Oh. And they broke up.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I forgot her name. They broke up. But anyway, now
- 32:14Speaker 2: he's single. But like that, oh, Snow, Brittany Stowe.
- 32:16Speaker 1: He was married to Brittany Stowe. I was going to
- 32:18Speaker 1: say Phoebe Snow.
- 32:18Speaker 2: So that was kind of juicy that he's married to
- 32:20Speaker 2: a movie. So they like, like, Movie star Jason Realtors.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 1: That'd be great.
- 32:26Speaker 2: So that's just going to happen. Also juicy news. They
- 32:29Speaker 2: just announced who the golden bachelor is. ABC senior citizen
- 32:33Speaker 2: star finally revealed he's 71 and he's absolutely a perfect catch.
- 32:40Speaker 2: If anybody. Perfect 71. Perfect 71 to fall in love again.
- 32:45Speaker 2: I said this. I knew it'd be a widow, not
- 32:48Speaker 2: a divorcee.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He's a widow.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Had to be a widow. No. And it was the
- 32:51Speaker 2: love of his life. It was his high school sweetheart.
- 32:54Speaker 2: They have a few kids. Sadly, she passed away like
- 32:57Speaker 2: six years ago, so that's a good amount of time.
- 32:59Speaker 2: It wasn't last year. He has a beautiful house on
- 33:02Speaker 2: the lake in Indiana. He loves the Chicago whatever, bulls
- 33:06Speaker 2: and whatever else. Bulls and bears.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yeah, everything.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Midwest, absolutely perfect. Best city in the world to come from.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Makes you sophisticated yet normal.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Chicago, Chicago adjacent.
- 33:18Speaker 1: We don't sit through the episodes where they go to
- 33:20Speaker 1: his parents' house. They're long gone. Those are always the
- 33:26Speaker 1: boring episodes and you got to meet the parents.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Well, they'll go and meet the kids. I'm sure the
- 33:30Speaker 2: kids are part of it. And so he's got grandkids
- 33:33Speaker 2: and he plays pickleball, which I just saw this thing
- 33:37Speaker 2: about how many people are getting injured playing pickleball because
- 33:41Speaker 2: these people start playing it and they're still older and
- 33:44Speaker 2: they get too aggressive with it and they fall. I
- 33:47Speaker 2: have a wound right now.
- 33:48Speaker 1: A pickleball wound?
- 33:49Speaker 2: Actually, it was from tennis, but it could have been pickleball. Anyway,
- 33:53Speaker 2: I fell because I finally got a rally going. I
- 33:54Speaker 2: was so excited. I wasn't going to let it stop.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 2: And I fell over my feet onto my knee and arm. So, yeah.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Good. Well, I also heard that people are upset.
- 34:05Speaker 2: About the noice. Oh, Jill Zarin has pickleball paddles that
- 34:07Speaker 2: they sell. Oh, good. And they look like the Beverly
- 34:09Speaker 2: Hills Hotel. They're very cute.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Oh, she has a line of pickleball paddles?
- 34:13Speaker 2: They're very cute. All right. All right. Yeah, so it's
- 34:16Speaker 2: a very fun game, but just be careful. But I'm
- 34:19Speaker 2: down for this. I will start to watch it. I'm
- 34:21Speaker 2: not watching The Bachelorette, I'll be honest. I kind of
- 34:24Speaker 2: lost interest in that. So I am sort of interested
- 34:26Speaker 2: to see what they're going to do and if these
- 34:29Speaker 2: women are going to be like.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Well, that's going to be the difficult one.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Nice or bitchy or overly sexual.
- 34:35Speaker 1: To find a 71-year-old who looks as good as this
- 34:37Speaker 1: guy does, at least in this picture.
- 34:39Speaker 2: You said he was a little George Hamilton. He's a
- 34:40Speaker 2: little tan.
- 34:41Speaker 1: It's a little fake tan or whatever they put on
- 34:43Speaker 1: him to prop him up. Because you know that's not
- 34:46Speaker 1: the real look right there. You're not going to get.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Because I did see a video of him.
- 34:51Speaker 2: So when he's moving in real life, he seems a
- 34:53Speaker 2: little more elderly.
- 34:54Speaker 1: You start to see 71 a little more. Who knows?
- 34:58Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Will there be Viagra talk? Will there be lube talk?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Will there be hot flash talk?
- 35:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Will there be whatever? I don't know.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Do you know the– what is the age of the women?
- 35:12Speaker 1: What's going to be the– I'm going to make a prediction.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Like is it going to be 50 to 80?
- 35:16Speaker 2: I'm going to say 100%. There's no way they're going
- 35:17Speaker 2: to entertain someone under 50. I honestly think they shouldn't
- 35:22Speaker 2: entertain anyone under 60 in my opinion.
- 35:25Speaker 1: No.
- 35:26Speaker 2: But I think they will.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I think they'll probably start at like 57, 58 is
- 35:29Speaker 2: what I think.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Oh, I think it's got to be 50 to 75.
- 35:34Speaker 2: So you think it's going to be younger?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:36Speaker 1: It's got to be 50 to 75. Yeah. Just to
- 35:38Speaker 1: make it more interesting to watch.
- 35:39Speaker 2: But, you know, with women today and, like, you know,
- 35:42Speaker 2: it's going to be– I'm excited, actually. I think we're
- 35:45Speaker 2: ready for this. So am I.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I think we're ready for this. I think it's time
- 35:47Speaker 1: to freshen up that franchise.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 2: But I wonder who they're going to get to host.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Instead of roses, they're going to have carnations.
- 35:55Speaker 2: This is when you bring back Chris Harrison. This is
- 35:58Speaker 2: when you say- Enough is enough. Enough is enough. But see,
- 36:01Speaker 2: they paid him so much that I don't even think
- 36:04Speaker 2: he could come back. But anyway. Yeah. Who are they
- 36:08Speaker 2: going to get? A host? Yeah. Do we know?
- 36:10Speaker 1: I haven't heard. I think it starts tonight. So it's
- 36:13Speaker 1: on already.
- 36:14Speaker 2: It's not Matt Lauer?
- 36:18Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe an old guy.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Amy Robach and what's his name?
- 36:22Speaker 1: Oh, those two. What happened to those two?
- 36:24Speaker 2: A girl just wrote me and she said, you just
- 36:26Speaker 2: saw them jogging.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 36:27Speaker 2: They're still jogging.
- 36:28Speaker 1: But nobody's taking pictures anymore.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they're still jogging together and, you know, going to
- 36:33Speaker 2: cute lunches in New York City.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 36:36Speaker 2: They have not started their podcast yet.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well, get ready.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 1: It's coming.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about this. The serial killer, the suspect
- 36:45Speaker 2: in the Long Island serial killer case is ID'd as
- 36:49Speaker 2: architect Rex Heuermann. And, oh my gosh, there is.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Massapequa Park went to school with.
- 36:56Speaker 2: With Billy Baldwin.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Billy Baldwin.
- 36:58Speaker 2: They both went to the same high school. So just
- 37:01Speaker 2: to give you a little road... Just a little... There's
- 37:04Speaker 2: been movies about this. It's been going on for years.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Yeah, 10, 11 years.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Over the decades. So more than a decade after the
- 37:11Speaker 2: bodies of various young women being piling up around.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Gilgo Beach.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Gilgo Beach in Long Island, New York, a suspect has
- 37:18Speaker 2: been taken into custody. Rex Hurman is an architect... with
- 37:23Speaker 2: an office in Manhattan, has been identified as a suspect.
- 37:26Speaker 2: So it was a beautiful home, a beautiful area, and
- 37:30Speaker 2: my understanding was that he would... contact sex workers to
- 37:34Speaker 2: come over, and then these girls would go missing. And oftentimes,
- 37:39Speaker 2: their family didn't really know what they were doing and
- 37:42Speaker 2: didn't know where they went. So the killings dubbed as
- 37:46Speaker 2: Long Island Serial Killer Case first came to light in
- 37:49Speaker 2: December 2010. That's how long it's been that these families
- 37:52Speaker 2: have been suffering. Bodies of Melissa Barth-LeBay, Amber Costella, Megan Waterman,
- 37:59Speaker 2: Ann Maureen, barns were found wrapped in burlap and placed
- 38:02Speaker 2: within 500 feet of one another buried in a marsh
- 38:06Speaker 2: on the beach. And then in January 22, they released
- 38:09Speaker 2: photographs of a black leather belt found at one of
- 38:11Speaker 2: the dump locations they believe likely belonged to the murderer.
- 38:14Speaker 2: The belt is imprinted with the letters W, H, or H-M, depending,
- 38:20Speaker 2: I guess, how you would turn it around. I wonder
- 38:23Speaker 2: what that.
- 38:23Speaker 1: H and M. Maybe that's where he got the belt.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Well... our like that will his last name starts with
- 38:32Speaker 2: an age but maybe rex was just like uh... maybe
- 38:34Speaker 2: his real name or butter yeah that same month police
- 38:38Speaker 2: announced the creation of a website okay.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So well now it's all d n a they got
- 38:42Speaker 1: now it's.
- 38:42Speaker 2: What the d n a is is that uh... so
- 38:47Speaker 2: i'll tell you exactly so i asked matt murphy former
- 38:51Speaker 2: prosecutor he's doing all these interviews about it he's of
- 38:54Speaker 2: regular person on uh... He's a regular person on like,
- 38:59Speaker 2: you know, 2020. He's been on my show. So I
- 39:02Speaker 2: asked him what the deal was. And he said, let
- 39:07Speaker 2: me see. So basically, the biggest thing is that there's
- 39:11Speaker 2: three hairs that were found on these bodies.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 39:15Speaker 2: One is his and one is mine. of his wife.
- 39:20Speaker 2: So I asked him, is there any way anyone's looking
- 39:23Speaker 2: at her like they're a weird couple that did this together? No, everything,
- 39:26Speaker 2: she's been completely cleared. She was always out of town.
- 39:29Speaker 1: At comic book conventions. That's where she was.
- 39:31Speaker 4: Really?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Really? Oh, my God. So they... Then they were, so
- 39:37Speaker 2: there were accidental transfers. And he's saying that he thinks
- 39:42Speaker 2: this guy is like a Dexter because it's a different
- 39:45Speaker 2: kind of DNA that they have on him.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:47Speaker 2: It's not like semen or blood. It's more like the
- 39:51Speaker 2: internal tissue and everything. Because I said, what is this?
- 39:55Speaker 2: They call it. Mitochondrial DNA. So that's really what they have.
- 40:03Speaker 2: But the only thing is that instead of normal nuclear DNA,
- 40:07Speaker 2: which is like, well, there's one in a hundred chance
- 40:09Speaker 2: that this is, you know. Right. Instead, it's one in
- 40:13Speaker 2: a trillion.
- 40:14Speaker 1: No, wait.
- 40:15Speaker 2: No, the regular one is one in a trillion. This
- 40:17Speaker 2: is one in a hundred. So there's a little bit
- 40:19Speaker 2: of where his defense will probably say.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 1: It's not him.
- 40:23Speaker 2: It's not him. We don't know for sure. So it's
- 40:26Speaker 2: a different kind of DNA since they don't have the
- 40:29Speaker 2: sperm or anything of his. But they do have the hair.
- 40:32Speaker 2: And then he would do these horrible things where he
- 40:36Speaker 2: had their cell phones. Either they didn't have a passcode
- 40:39Speaker 2: or he got them out of it before he died.
- 40:41Speaker 2: And he would check their cell phones and he'd find
- 40:45Speaker 2: worried family members and taunt them.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yeah, call that family. From burner phones that he had.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yes. Yes.
- 40:51Speaker 1: And they have video of him buying the Burna phones
- 40:53Speaker 1: in different locations throughout Long Island.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Then he would all– so he'd brag about raping and
- 41:02Speaker 2: killing their loved ones. Yeah.
- 41:06Speaker 1: But he had two kids and a wife, this guy.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Right. And I don't know where the kids– I assume
- 41:11Speaker 2: he always did this when they were gone. Yeah. But, yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 2: the cell phone bill was linked to him.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And you know how they found his DNA, which is
- 41:22Speaker 1: a good tip for everybody.
- 41:23Speaker 2: What?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Eat your pizza crust. Oh, yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 2: They got it.
- 41:26Speaker 1: They found it on pizza crust. He had a piece
- 41:28Speaker 1: of pizza.
- 41:28Speaker 2: But they'd been following him for a while. And then
- 41:31Speaker 2: in the last bit of time, they did get FBI involved.
- 41:34Speaker 2: But they did it, according to Matt, they really did
- 41:36Speaker 2: it the right way to make sure that they had
- 41:38Speaker 2: everything they needed. But they did move in now because
- 41:41Speaker 2: they were afraid he would strike again or leave.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 2: So they're like, we have to get him.
- 41:46Speaker 1: My favorite part of anything like this happening on Long Island,
- 41:50Speaker 1: where my hometown, is that you have to interview, now
- 41:53Speaker 1: you have to interview people from Long Island about it.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And that's the greatest, when Long Island people get on
- 41:59Speaker 1: the news.
- 42:00Speaker 2: And what do they say?
- 42:01Speaker 1: Just, oh my God, I can't believe it. He seemed
- 42:03Speaker 1: like a normal guy. He was a great guy. They wear, like,
- 42:07Speaker 1: the crazy outfits.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you are from Long Island. Why weren't they asking you?
- 42:11Speaker 1: I know. I cannot believe they haven't come to me
- 42:13Speaker 1: because I was, you know, all over this case.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Here are some of the things. Records obtained
- 42:21Speaker 2: from Tinder revealed a burner phone was linked to a
- 42:23Speaker 2: fictitious Tinder account for Andrew Roberts using an email that Humormand,
- 42:29Speaker 2: the suspect, also accessed from his personal cell phone. I mean,
- 42:31Speaker 2: they have so much evidence. Hummerman also allegedly used Google
- 42:35Speaker 2: Pay to fund the dating app, which was via his
- 42:39Speaker 2: American Express credit card. And he also allegedly used an
- 42:42Speaker 2: email under a pseudonym, Thomas Hawk, to look up disturbing
- 42:46Speaker 2: subjects on Google, including girl begging for rape porn, nude
- 42:51Speaker 2: slave girls, and 10-year-old schoolgirls. Disgusting. And so, yeah, they
- 42:57Speaker 2: got the pizza crust, as you said. He tossed it
- 43:00Speaker 2: in the trash. Yeah. Fifth Avenue on January 26th. So
- 43:06Speaker 2: they had the DNA, then they did all the matching
- 43:08Speaker 2: of the DNA, and then they finally decided, yeah. And
- 43:11Speaker 2: then Billy Baldwin, as you said, they went to high
- 43:13Speaker 2: school in New York together, Berner High School, and they
- 43:18Speaker 2: graduated in 1981.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah, the home of Jerry Seinfeld and the Baldwins, Massapequa. Wow.
- 43:26Speaker 1: A lot of people come out of Massapequa. Anyway, and
- 43:30Speaker 1: he had like the shitty house on the street, which is,
- 43:32Speaker 1: that's kind of a bit of a red flag.
- 43:34Speaker 2: So he had the worst house in the neighborhood.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Yes, yes. And they were, I saw a couple people
- 43:39Speaker 1: we interviewed, like, we always were concerned about the house
- 43:41Speaker 1: because it's a kind of nice neighborhood.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Was it like a hoarder house or just uncapped?
- 43:45Speaker 1: A little bit, uncapped, a little hoardery. I'm seeing some
- 43:48Speaker 1: of the stuff being brought out, you know, and it
- 43:50Speaker 1: was like a doll collection, always a red flag, a
- 43:53Speaker 1: doll collection. His, apparently. Yeah, always creepy.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Well, I have a doll collection in this office.
- 44:01Speaker 1: With all the Barbies. That's true.
- 44:03Speaker 2: And the dolls look like my friends.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a little weird.
- 44:06Speaker 2: That's a little creepy. Oh, God. Well, hopefully there's some
- 44:10Speaker 2: peace for these families because there was like a whole
- 44:13Speaker 2: movie done about it.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a big deal.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:17Speaker 1: And I guess, you know, now that you're reading all
- 44:18Speaker 1: these things about the links to PayPal and the links
- 44:21Speaker 1: to all these.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I mean, serial killing and murdering is tough these days.
- 44:25Speaker 2: It's gotten harder.
- 44:25Speaker 1: It's gotten a lot harder.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Than the Dahmer days.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Because the DNA and the link to payments and all that.
- 44:31Speaker 2: And all the surveillance cameras.
- 44:33Speaker 1: And the pings off the cell towers.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Tell me if you remember this part, because I don't.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Wasn't it that some of these sex workers, like, how
- 44:41Speaker 2: did they get there? Did they get dropped off in
- 44:44Speaker 2: an Uber? Or did any of them ever have, like,
- 44:46Speaker 2: a driver that waited for them? Or did they all
- 44:48Speaker 2: just get there and then knock on the door and
- 44:50Speaker 2: then never come home?
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm not exactly sure. Because it's out there.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Because I remember there was one where, like, one girl
- 44:57Speaker 2: was screaming. Like, one person survived.
- 44:58Speaker 1: The one girl made, like, a 911 call.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Oh, but didn't live.
- 45:01Speaker 1: But didn't live, yeah. And they're not saying that she's,
- 45:04Speaker 1: at this point, they're not saying that girl's linked to him. Well,
- 45:07Speaker 1: obviously she is. I know, obviously. But there were nine
- 45:10Speaker 1: or eight or nine bodies they found. And they only
- 45:12Speaker 1: linked him to four or three or four.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 45:15Speaker 1: So who knows why? Right. And one of them was
- 45:17Speaker 1: a man. It was a man involved. I saw. I
- 45:21Speaker 1: think there was like eight women and one man.
- 45:23Speaker 2: God, imagine being the wife and you're having fun at
- 45:26Speaker 2: Comic-Con and then this happens.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 45:28Speaker 2: She probably was there when he got arrested. Comic-Con is
- 45:31Speaker 2: a big thing in the summer, right?
- 45:32Speaker 1: I don't know. But if you went to... Yeah, who knows? Anyway,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I think they got the guy.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Speaking of which.
- 45:38Speaker 1: He looks very serial killer-y.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Matt Lauer showed up at a ladies-only golf luncheon in Southampton.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Can we just have one thing?
- 45:45Speaker 1: Just kidding.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Not ever going there again, especially with you, Chris.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Don't you worry.
- 45:53Speaker 2: All are welcome. All are welcome. Come into the light. Anyway,
- 45:59Speaker 2: he was just there. I just thought it was funny.
- 46:00Speaker 2: And he made a surprise appearance at a luncheon at
- 46:03Speaker 2: his exclusive Southampton Golf Club on Thursday. Surprising, because it
- 46:09Speaker 2: was a ladies-only affair. But anyway, he's like, well, I'm
- 46:14Speaker 2: here now. Deal with it, ladies.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I mean, he's still hanging out in the Hamptons, huh?
- 46:18Speaker 2: I don't know that he went into the ladies' locker
- 46:20Speaker 2: rooms again. I'm not going to touch that with a
- 46:23Speaker 2: nine-inch pole.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Okay?
- 46:25Speaker 2: I am not.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Okay. Well, I feel like he should just, at this point...
- 46:31Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Is it getting to the
- 46:32Speaker 1: point where.
- 46:33Speaker 2: He doesn't need anything. Just go have some fun.
- 46:36Speaker 1: I mean, but I would have left the Hamptons at
- 46:38Speaker 1: this point.
- 46:39Speaker 2: You just said how great it is. It's all a joy.
- 46:42Speaker 1: It's great for me because I wasn't shamed publicly.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I think people were nice to him. I bet they
- 46:48Speaker 2: were nice to his face at this ladies' luncheon.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 46:50Speaker 2: I don't think any of those ladies were like... right
- 46:53Speaker 2: past or whatever. I don't think any of that happened.
- 46:55Speaker 1: No, he's been in the Hamptons his whole.
- 46:57Speaker 2: No, I think people acted nice to his face and
- 46:59Speaker 2: then gossiped about it after. So this story has a
- 47:03Speaker 2: nice ending. This girl is safe, but it is a
- 47:06Speaker 2: curious story.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:08Speaker 2: So this went crazy over the weekend. So many people
- 47:12Speaker 2: I follow, I posted in Juicy Scoop Obsessed.
- 47:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 47:15Speaker 2: People were letting me know because one of the things
- 47:17Speaker 2: I talk about is it's my hero fantasy to rescue...
- 47:22Speaker 2: an abandoned child. Right. It could be a newborn. It
- 47:25Speaker 2: could be a toddler. I did rescue one at Disneyland
- 47:27Speaker 2: who was about three.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 47:30Speaker 2: And, but it was a short-lived. The mother found us.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 2: And, you know, the mother's crying. The kid ran off
- 47:35Speaker 2: once he didn't like his ice cream. It was not
- 47:37Speaker 2: her fault. She's an excellent mother.
- 47:38Speaker 1: But it was still a rescue nonetheless.
- 47:40Speaker 2: It was still a rescue and I still got to
- 47:41Speaker 2: talk to that child. And I also got to see
- 47:43Speaker 2: how easy it was if I needed to, if I could,
- 47:45Speaker 2: how easy I could get him to go to my car.
- 47:47Speaker 1: She just abducted the child.
- 47:48Speaker 2: He completely stopped crying. We started talking. He was like completely...
- 47:52Speaker 2: Ready to be my son.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Okay. So this woman from Alabama, she calls 911. She goes,
- 48:01Speaker 2: oh my God, I see a walking toddler on the
- 48:03Speaker 2: side of the highway. And she called 911. And I
- 48:06Speaker 2: think she also, so there was that and they were coming.
- 48:10Speaker 2: And then she called like a cousin or something was
- 48:12Speaker 2: telling her. And then there was a scream and they
- 48:14Speaker 2: didn't hear from her. And then when they got to
- 48:17Speaker 2: where she said that she had pulled over, Her car
- 48:20Speaker 2: was there. Her wig was there. Her purse was there.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Her cell phone was there. But no young toddler. So
- 48:26Speaker 2: then everyone's, like, looking at the surveillance. The parents do
- 48:30Speaker 2: a plea, and they're very positive, religious. Like, we're only
- 48:34Speaker 2: going to have positive thoughts that we're going to find her.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 48:38Speaker 2: And anyway, she showed up.
- 48:41Speaker 1: A couple days later, right?
- 48:43Speaker 2: So here's the details of it, okay? So... She went missing,
- 48:49Speaker 2: like I said, on– it was I-495. And she's a
- 48:54Speaker 2: nursing student. She called the police. And also her boyfriend
- 48:58Speaker 2: publicly thanked the supporters and defended himself against any allegations
- 49:02Speaker 2: that he was involved. And so then now she has
- 49:05Speaker 2: been found at her place. She went to the hospital.
- 49:09Speaker 2: They checked her out. I don't know what– we don't
- 49:11Speaker 2: know if she was– trafficked at all or assaulted or
- 49:15Speaker 2: what happened, but she was well enough to leave. And
- 49:19Speaker 2: so since her return, the boyfriend broke his silence earlier,
- 49:22Speaker 2: talking to Instagram to share photos and videos of the
- 49:25Speaker 2: two while clearing his name of any wrongdoing. Now her mother,
- 49:28Speaker 2: Carly's mother, has taken a Facebook page to break her
- 49:31Speaker 2: own silence, asking now for privacy until the family is
- 49:34Speaker 2: ready to talk and release official statements. My husband and
- 49:37Speaker 2: I want to make this statement again, as we did
- 49:39Speaker 2: last night. We have nothing to add or take away
- 49:42Speaker 2: from how we're feeling right now, just that they're grateful.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Our baby is safe.
- 49:45Speaker 1: So was there ever a toddler? What's the toddler story?
- 49:49Speaker 2: There is no toddler. Oh. There's no toddler that they found. Now,
- 49:52Speaker 2: there's a couple things that could have happened.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Was the toddler a lure? Like, did someone put out
- 49:58Speaker 2: their toddler so that someone would pull over?
- 49:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:00Speaker 2: And they hoped that it would be a girl on
- 50:02Speaker 2: a busy highway. Seems a little strange. Right. And once
- 50:04Speaker 2: she had the toddler... in her possession. Then that was there.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Then someone came up behind her, kidnapped her, took her money,
- 50:12Speaker 2: did something awful to her. But at some point she
- 50:14Speaker 2: escaped or they released her. We don't know.
- 50:17Speaker 1: So at this point, there's no, I feel like.
- 50:19Speaker 2: At this point, there's no toddler. So listen, I feel like.
- 50:22Speaker 1: The parents of the toddler would be like, yes, she
- 50:24Speaker 1: found our toddler on the side of the road. Thank
- 50:26Speaker 1: you for returning it. Unless there's no bit parents.
- 50:29Speaker 2: There's nothing that shows a toddler or anything.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:32Speaker 2: In the surveillance of the highway.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 50:36Speaker 2: There is there was some other vehicle that looks suspicious,
- 50:39Speaker 2: some gray car that when they were looking for her,
- 50:42Speaker 2: they're like, there was a gray car. So, I mean,
- 50:45Speaker 2: I think, yeah, there's some there's some talk happening among
- 50:49Speaker 2: people of like, is this story true? Like I said,
- 50:52Speaker 2: one of the things could happen. It could have been
- 50:54Speaker 2: someone used their toddler to lure a woman and somehow
- 50:57Speaker 2: she escaped a horrible situation or it could be something else.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Or it could be she was at her boyfriend's house.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Or it could be... I don't know.
- 51:08Speaker 2: There's fake kidnappings that have happened. Jussie Smollett, the girl
- 51:13Speaker 2: from wherever, Modesto, that said that two Mexican lesbians kidnapped
- 51:19Speaker 2: her when she was with her ex-boyfriend. There was the
- 51:23Speaker 2: girl who said someone was trying to kidnap her kids
- 51:25Speaker 2: in Petaluma and they weren't. And I'm not saying this
- 51:29Speaker 2: is the case.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:30Speaker 2: But because of those cases... Some people are talking. Right.
- 51:36Speaker 2: That it's a little odd. But also, I was interested because.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I feel like this is a pretty.
- 51:40Speaker 2: You better believe I'm going to pull over even now
- 51:42Speaker 2: if I see a little toddler.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 51:44Speaker 2: I will never not pull over for a toddler walking
- 51:46Speaker 2: the streets alone.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I've never seen it. I wish.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I told you my friend did get one. Yeah. She
- 51:52Speaker 2: got one 5 a.m. walking down DeSoto the day after Thanksgiving.
- 52:00Speaker 2: She was getting up early to go do her.
- 52:03Speaker 1: And what, the kid just walked out of the house?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Yeah, the kid walked, the girl was a single mom.
- 52:08Speaker 2: She was staying with a friend and there was miscommunication. Yeah.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And like, you know, he woke up and this wasn't
- 52:15Speaker 2: his regular home and he just started, he walked out
- 52:17Speaker 2: of the apartment and the other person didn't know he
- 52:19Speaker 2: had walked out.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:22Speaker 2: You know, it was all okay. Like the mom got
- 52:23Speaker 2: her kid back, but it was just something crazy like that.
- 52:25Speaker 2: My friend happened to see him just walking like in
- 52:27Speaker 2: his pajamas.
- 52:28Speaker 1: My daughter won't walk anywhere. I got to fucking carry
- 52:30Speaker 1: her everywhere. I wish you would walk down the street.
- 52:35Speaker 1: She's always carrying me. I'm like, you're four now. We
- 52:38Speaker 1: don't need to carry you. And then I tell her,
- 52:40Speaker 1: show me another four-year-old being carried right now. And then
- 52:42Speaker 1: she'll spend the rest of the day trying to find one.
- 52:44Speaker 1: And she'll find one. She'll be like, there's one. I'm like,
- 52:47Speaker 1: now I've got to carry you for another two weeks.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I worked on this cartoon with the Waynes brothers called
- 52:55Speaker 2: Little Boo Kids. I can't remember, but I was like
- 52:58Speaker 2: a character in it. Like I was a voiceover in it. Yeah.
- 53:00Speaker 2: And they had all these different characters. Thugaboo. It was
- 53:03Speaker 2: called Thugaboo.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 53:05Speaker 2: And one of the characters they came up with was
- 53:08Speaker 2: this kid that was in the stroller that was so
- 53:11Speaker 2: big that it could walk with its own feet, but
- 53:14Speaker 2: just still going to be in a stroller. Like, completely fine.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I see it in the air.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Anyway, I, you know, hopefully we'll know the truth.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Well, I feel like this is quickly, you're going to
- 53:23Speaker 1: come to a conclusion quickly on this one.
- 53:25Speaker 2: I think everyone's being sensitive about it. Except me. I'm
- 53:28Speaker 2: not being that safe. But look, I'm happy she's safe
- 53:31Speaker 2: because I really thought when I heard this story, oh God,
- 53:34Speaker 2: they used the toddler to lure her. We'll never hear
- 53:37Speaker 2: from this girl again. She's dead.
- 53:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 53:39Speaker 2: So I'm just, whether not all of the story that
- 53:43Speaker 2: we've been fed is 100% true, who cares?
- 53:45Speaker 1: You're happy she's alive.
- 53:46Speaker 2: But if it turns out that she, because 60, 70 cops,
- 53:50Speaker 2: I mean, people were on this. Yeah. So if for
- 53:53Speaker 2: some reason something she did in her call to the
- 53:57Speaker 2: police was not 100% true, then she will get in trouble. So, yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 2: this one way, I just don't want to say, he
- 54:07Speaker 2: said she fought for her life.
- 54:08Speaker 1: She was kidnapped and fought.
- 54:09Speaker 2: For her life. That's what the boyfriend's saying. And then
- 54:11Speaker 2: her family's saying, leave us alone. We want privacy now. Yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Let's talk about, and just like that, the latest episode.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 54:20Speaker 2: And with Che Diaz. And as I've said earlier, this season,
- 54:27Speaker 2: I think she is a good actress.
- 54:28Speaker 1: She's very good actress.
- 54:29Speaker 2: I think they are a good actress.
- 54:30Speaker 1: She's excellent. But she's always been a good actress.
- 54:33Speaker 2: They are excellent.
- 54:34Speaker 1: What do you mean? Is that what she considers herself?
- 54:37Speaker 2: I think she is a they-them as well, not just
- 54:39Speaker 2: the character she plays.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 54:42Speaker 2: I'm just going to say Sarah Rodriguez.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Sarah Rodriguez, yeah.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Instead of a protagonist.
- 54:45Speaker 1: She was on Grey's Anatomy. She's a good actress.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Anyway, when she's not doing horrible stand-up that somebody wrote
- 54:51Speaker 2: for her, Or horrible podcasting work that someone, like when
- 54:56Speaker 2: she's just being the character, I thought this scene was
- 54:59Speaker 2: really good to fill people in. So she is a
- 55:03Speaker 2: podcaster and a standup who gets her own very typical
- 55:07Speaker 2: of the last 25 years.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:09Speaker 2: You get the fan, the sitcom about your family.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Tony Danza is the dad. And now he's dealing with
- 55:15Speaker 2: his former daughter who's now non-binary, but she's hilarious. And they,
- 55:21Speaker 2: she said, Oh, Sarah says, oh, I'm excited because my
- 55:25Speaker 2: agent's coming to watch the focus group. Now, never have
- 55:28Speaker 2: I ever heard of a star being able to watch
- 55:33Speaker 2: the focus group. Have you ever heard of that?
- 55:36Speaker 1: Not that I know of.
- 55:38Speaker 2: I was subject of a focus group once.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Subject of one or on one?
- 55:43Speaker 2: I was what they were focusing on.
- 55:45Speaker 1: How?
- 55:46Speaker 2: Why? I did a show, you'll remember, with Ross Matthews.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 55:51Speaker 2: We were going to have a show. It'd be like
- 55:53Speaker 2: once a week on E while, you know, and still
- 55:57Speaker 2: sort of, I think I could still remain on Chelsea.
- 55:59Speaker 2: I don't know what the deal is, but they, they
- 56:01Speaker 2: came to me and they said, first it was going
- 56:03Speaker 2: to be Ross and Guy Branum. And they thought that
- 56:07Speaker 2: was a fun idea of two different types of gay
- 56:09Speaker 2: guys coming together, talking about pop culture.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Then he said, no, we think like Heather would be
- 56:17Speaker 2: really good with Ross. We love them together. They come,
- 56:20Speaker 2: they bring it to me. I go to, you know, whatever, Tom,
- 56:25Speaker 2: who is our EP. Yeah. And he goes, what do
- 56:27Speaker 2: you think? And I'm like, oh, my God, have my
- 56:29Speaker 2: own show with Ross. Like, could anything be more fun
- 56:31Speaker 2: and easy? Great. Yeah. So we do the pilot. And
- 56:35Speaker 2: he's able to work on the pilot in these offices
- 56:38Speaker 2: that they gave us across the street all day long.
- 56:39Speaker 2: And they're like, you can have two riders. He's got
- 56:42Speaker 2: two riders. Uh-huh. And I get Jen Kirkman, who was great.
- 56:46Speaker 2: She had left the show for a minute, and she
- 56:48Speaker 2: was free.
- 56:48Speaker 1: And I believe it was comedian Jason Nash, too, right?
- 56:51Speaker 2: I didn't know who else to get. All my friends
- 56:53Speaker 2: worked on Chelsea.
- 56:54Speaker 1: But Jason Nash is like a big star now. He's
- 56:55Speaker 1: like a big, like, internet star.
- 56:58Speaker 2: You're right. I didn't even know. He was great, too. Yeah.
- 57:01Speaker 2: But I asked her, like, I was like, do you need...
- 57:03Speaker 2: I'm going to have a budget for two more people. Like,
- 57:05Speaker 2: for two people.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 57:07Speaker 2: So... I had to work on Chelsea Lately all day,
- 57:10Speaker 2: and then I had to ask Sue Murphy, can I
- 57:12Speaker 2: please cross the street? It's 4.30. I'm about to do
- 57:15Speaker 2: a pilot that could fucking change my life.
- 57:16Speaker 1: No, you need to sit at your desk.
- 57:17Speaker 2: No, sit at your desk. You can go at 6. Yeah.
- 57:20Speaker 2: So then I crossed the street, and we were coming
- 57:23Speaker 2: up with topics and coming up with funny things. And
- 57:24Speaker 2: now the day comes that we're going to film it.
- 57:27Speaker 2: And there were things like the graphics. It was called
- 57:29Speaker 2: Love It or Hate It or something. Do you love
- 57:32Speaker 2: it or do you hate it?
- 57:32Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 57:34Speaker 2: And I was like, I kind of hate the graphics,
- 57:35Speaker 2: but I didn't feel like I could speak up, you know,
- 57:39Speaker 2: because it was that guy that drank wine at his desk.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Remember him that did the graphics? He kind of scared me.
- 57:44Speaker 2: So I was like, okay, fine, whatever. So I get.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Adamus.
- 57:50Speaker 2: Yes. And then, oh God, I'm like such an awful,
- 57:53Speaker 2: I'm actually an awful diva, like to my own demise.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Because I remember like, Then Ross's boyfriend at the time,
- 58:01Speaker 2: who I really like, he was the stylist. And he
- 58:04Speaker 2: brought me a bunch of clothes. And I have a
- 58:06Speaker 2: certain body, as I said.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Can't wear the boyfriend jean.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I can't wear everything. And it just was, like, not working.
- 58:12Speaker 2: And I go, I'm not feeling this. And then Ross, like,
- 58:15Speaker 2: let me know, like, oh, Salvador's feelings are really hurt.
- 58:19Speaker 2: If you could just give him more encouragement. I'm like, oh,
- 58:20Speaker 2: my God, maybe I don't need a stylist. Like, let
- 58:22Speaker 2: me just try to figure out my. But then he
- 58:24Speaker 2: brings a great outfit and I love it. But I
- 58:26Speaker 2: will say one of the things I should have thought of,
- 58:29Speaker 2: because I also lost a second job to this, is
- 58:31Speaker 2: when I stand next to a guy and I'm taller,
- 58:34Speaker 2: focus groups hate that. I've actually had two focus groups
- 58:37Speaker 2: fire me. I'm just thinking about it right now. So
- 58:40Speaker 2: I'm standing next to Ross, and I have these little
- 58:42Speaker 2: short gray boots on, flattering. Trina Turk dress, actually. And
- 58:48Speaker 2: I look cute. I love my hair and makeup. But
- 58:50Speaker 2: when I saw us standing there together, I'm like, hmm,
- 58:53Speaker 2: I don't think it's great that I'm taller than him. Anyway.
- 58:55Speaker 2: the show comes and I'm waiting like when are we
- 58:58Speaker 2: gonna hear if the pickup comes and Tom calls me
- 59:00Speaker 2: into his office after like everyone has left for the
- 59:03Speaker 2: day and he goes so they're not picking up the
- 59:07Speaker 2: show and he goes because they did a focus group
- 59:10Speaker 2: and everyone hated you. I'm not kidding. It was this blunt.
- 59:14Speaker 2: He goes, but they loved Ross. So he is going
- 59:17Speaker 2: to give Ross his own show. But you are absolutely
- 59:19Speaker 2: not going to be part of it.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 59:21Speaker 2: And so I'm sorry. Yeah. And I go, oh. He's like, yeah,
- 59:25Speaker 2: that focus group just, they just had horrible reactions to you.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Did you ever read any of the reactions?
- 59:32Speaker 2: No, I just was like, I got in the car,
- 59:34Speaker 2: I called Ross, I cried, he was sweet. Talked to
- 59:37Speaker 2: Chelsea that night, and I was like, well, this really
- 59:39Speaker 2: wasn't my dream show anyway, so whatever, I'll think of
- 59:41Speaker 2: something else. And I'm like, let me just mourn it
- 59:42Speaker 2: for one day. Next day, done. But what I would do,
- 59:47Speaker 2: then I did this other thing. Right after Chelsea ended,
- 59:49Speaker 2: they go, oh, we want you to do the craziest
- 59:52Speaker 2: Christmas commercials like on CW. And we're paying you $ 10, 000
- 59:56Speaker 2: to do it. And I did it and they cast
- 59:59Speaker 2: this other guy, I can't remember. And I do the
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: whole thing and I'm taller than him.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: And then I call my agent and I go, hey,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: when is that thing airing? Because it's almost Christmas time.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: He's like, the focus groups hate you.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: He said the focus groups hate you. They actually reshot
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: the whole thing with two completely different people. Wow.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'll say this.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: So anyway.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: To make you feel better.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I used to be in focus groups. I used to
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: do it for money, like back when times were tough.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: You were able to do it once a month over
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: at the whatever guild building was.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: And they paid you $ 50. And you would go in
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and watch TV shows, and then they would put you
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: all together. And they wanted a different– they wanted a
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Latino woman and a white guy and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: And we would all watch. I watched– I probably did
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: it 20 times, watched 20 different shows. They encourage you
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to hate the people. They keep asking you, like, who
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: do you dislike the most?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so you thought this scene was pretty accurate then, right?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Because you have to find somebody– You know,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you want to get out of there. Right. So they
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: tell you.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: It's almost like when you confess to a murder you
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: didn't do.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Right, exactly. It's like that. And also, I'll say this.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: It's like a jury, you know. People are like, how
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: did the jury come to this? Because a lot of
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: times in juries, they get the people who don't... They
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: need somebody who doesn't know anything about it. You know, so...
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: They're not the smartest people sometimes because... Yeah. I didn't
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: hear about OJ. Not a word. So these people who
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: do focus groups, they're like, oh, well, of course they...
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: They don't know anything. They're looking for $ 50. I remember
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: when I went there, I'm like, oh, this is like
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: down and out people. Yeah. Like homeless people, not a joke.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: And one guy was like, you get $ 50 and all
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the soda you can drink. That's what he told me.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: And this is the guy who's controlling network television, more
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: or less.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: And you're blaming it on, and you're, You're taking six
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: people's opinion or maybe you do one more, but it's
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: under 100 people that see this thing. You're going to
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: do it on that? You don't think that you as
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: the executive that watches all the TV They're paying these
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: executives hundreds and hundreds of thousand dollars a year and
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: their opinion is not strong enough to put it out
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: there and then see if it catches on or not?
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I believe, just to go back to it, it basically
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: ruins television. And that's why I think television has gotten
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: better because I don't think the Netflix and some of
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: the other, I don't.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Think they use focus groups as much.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: As ABC and NBC did. I don't know if they
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: still do, but I think they're kind of a thing
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: of the past. Yes.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: But she's doing a traditional sitcom, so I actually loved this.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: And I've read some articles about it where, so Sarah
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: is sitting there watching it, which would never happen.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: And they're like, oh, they love Tony Danza. And, you know,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: there's an old man in this. And then there is
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: a non-binary queer born woman, but non-binary now, who then
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: just rips into the Che character.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: She's a producer or something, right? No, she's a focus group.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: And she says, you know, it's corny. These aren't real experiences.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: This is a bunch of dad jokes. It's lame. She,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: you know, Che is lame. Right. And I also thought
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: that would be that also is so true. That here
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: the person that sees himself on TV is actually like
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: the harshest about it because they're probably like a little
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: bit jealous. Like, why them? Right. Why not me? Right, right.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: You know, anyways. And also like, yeah, you just want
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: to be heard. And then you start getting some encouragement.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: You start really ripping on it. And anyway, I read
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: some articles where they or where the idea is that
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: in writing that scene, it was kind of the writer's
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: feeling of what the hate that Che's character got last season.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Was coming out in this focus group. Not funny, corny.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Not realistic. Yeah. Like, nothing funny. So then the next
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: scene is Miranda's there trying to make Che feel better.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: And Che is crying. And she says, how am I
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: going to pay for this apartment? Which I would have said,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: don't get that apartment until you get the second pickup.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: And then, of course, Dumb Dumb Miranda, who, by the way,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: is just injuring herself right now all the time.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Yeah, when did she become the buffoon of the family?
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Of hurting herself all the time.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: With the phone ringing and the Charlie horse and the threesome.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, when did she become Laurel and Hardy? Like,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I feel like it's very over the top, like buffoonery.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Reminds me of how Brooke Shields said when she got
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: her show, Suddenly Susan, since she wasn't funny, they just
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: were like, you're going to have to fall like five
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: times an episode.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I feel like Miranda's doing now. It's like,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: all right.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: So anyway... Another person also said, like, I think it's
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: interesting that in the past, like, Miranda couldn't handle, like,
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: you know, Steve getting up to take a piss, yet
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: she will be fine with Che's 12 comedian friend smoking
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: pot all night in the room next to her.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: And, like, be completely fine with that, that stuck to
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: her sleeve, or a threesome that she didn't ask for. So, anyway,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: then she cries to her, and she's like, no, this
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: is my life. And then Miranda goes, yeah, but you'll
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: make a better show, and this is what I loved.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: She's like, you don't get it. It doesn't work that way.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: And it is so true.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Once you have this opportunity and you're the first person
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: to have the opportunity as the non-binary comedian, at least
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: the character of Che Diaz was smart enough to know,
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: your people aren't calling you tomorrow to pitch it to cable. Right.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: It's done. That's the end of it. It's over. They're
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: not even going to call you for anything but to
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: book you maybe at a club. Right.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Yeah. You're done.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: And so I don't know. I'm curious. Now I kind
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: of don't want Che to go away, though. But I'm
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: afraid her character might be done.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I think so. With the series.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Because I'm like, then she says, I need time.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Go away. Go away. So I don't think we're going
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: to see Che much in the future. I didn't see
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: her in any of the upcoming previews.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I haven't seen the upcoming... I mean, I.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: So rest in peace. Yeah.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I'll say this. I'm not... I don't hate this season.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: No, I don't hate it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: It's just.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Something about it, and I kind of felt this way
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: even about the original second.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Something's just always off. Yeah. And I think I narrowed
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: it down.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Oh, tell. Do tell.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Because the stars are good.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You know, they're fine. They're not the greatest actors outside
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: of Sarah Jessica Parker. I mean, you know, they're kind
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: of weak actors.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Some of them.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: But the people who are really bad are like the
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: guest stars. You know what I mean? Like the security
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: guard who was taking Miranda's phone. Just like bad acting,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: really bad. Like, were they a friend of somebody?
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Well, interesting that you say that because they have been
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: recycling guest stars from the seasons.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: And even in the first, they're using a lot of
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: people from the previous Sex and the City. But even
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: on Sex and the City, they would use a guest
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: star to play one role. You know, it's a Justin
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Theroux played Jared, a successful novelist named one of the
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: New York best coolest New Yorkers or whatever then he's
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: introduced the next season as a friend of Stanford yeah
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: who then tries to woo Carrie so and then he
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: said oh well you know they ran out of actors
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: ran out of actors in New York so I'm like
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: how lazy is this casting director so then the guy
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: that in the past episode she a bike hits her
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: and the guy gets hurt that guy he played a
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: guy that was wooing Charlotte in Sex and the City
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: yeah And now he was in this.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I know you were saying that the one woman.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: And then, yeah, Nicole Parker in last season of Just
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Like That, just last season, she's talking to Charlotte about
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: how much Carrie must be hurting because she lost her
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: husband who died big. She goes, I know. I lost
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: my father last year. Well, then the father shows up
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: perfectly healthy.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Billy Dee Williams.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: At the dinner. And it's not my stepdad. It's not. Anyway,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: they just are like. I'm like, is nobody doing any
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: fact checking?
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: And that's not even that. It wasn't like it was
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: season one, 15 years.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: I don't mean to be a bitch, but I think
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: AI might have caught that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it was... Yeah. It's funny. And then
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: also some of the... Those people, you know? Like, listen,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I love.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Maybe this is why SAG had to go on strike
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: because not enough of them were being used.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: They just kept recycling. Just go to the strike line
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: and get a couple of people to play. You don't
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: got to hire Justin Theroux three times.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Yeah. He doesn't need it.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: So.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: But just a little off.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: So SAG has gone on strike. They've joined Writers Guild.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Writers Guild.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: I liked Fran Drescher's speech.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: She's the president of SAG.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: President of SAG, the nanny. And so we'll see. Any thoughts?
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you know, there's no thoughts from me
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: because I'm a member of both. I'm a WGA member
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: and a SAG member, as you are. And, you know,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: so I'm more power to them. I'm not in that
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: world anymore because I, you know, I'm not allowed.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: No, nobody is called from either.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: From, you know, to hire me for SAG or to
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: hire me for... writers guild in a minute.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: But I, I hopefully this will be over with and
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: I'll be very, I, for my friends that I have
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: a few friends that have, I believe some real heartbreaking things.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Jen Kirkman, uh, Jen Kirkman's nominated for an Emmy.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Yeah, big writer on Maisel. And their new show coming out.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Yes, Guy Branum is a big-time writer, showrunner. Alison Faust
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: created Actor Age.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: All friends of ours.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Yes, and now that's, you know, been put on a whole.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Everybody, I mean, yeah.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Lucy Ann Walters. I mean, there's so many shows, and
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: I'm like, people kind of our age that, like, it's come, finally,
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: they're out of place.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: And now this could be a big thing. So I
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: hope that they can solve it quickly. And one of
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: the things that people are talking about is they said
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: for background actors, which is also called extras, when you're
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: called extras. Yeah. They're saying for the $ 200 day rate,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: we want you to then allow us to use your
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: image so we can do like CGI of AI background
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: people for the rest.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Of the time. They would own your likeness.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: You could be dead and you could still be. And
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: there's obviously that's not cool, but also it's like, Maybe
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: you did this extra work and you don't want people
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: to know that you did extra work 35 years from now.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: And now you're like a doctor.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Like you and I on Wayne's World 2. Many, many years.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Imagine how weird that would be if all of a
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: sudden I turned on a show and I see 22-year-old
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Heather in a red bathing suit walking down the beach,
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: which is what I did in 90210 and Ian Ziering
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: winking at me. I mean, maybe that wouldn't be so bad.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: But I mean, I just... And then also, what does
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: that do to the work of background actors? If we're
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: going to be able to AI them from today, why
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: would we need any new ones five and ten years
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: from now?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: And they need it.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: And a lot of people, that is their full job.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: They don't want to be a star. They like the work.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: They enjoy going to set. They bring their chair. They
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: bring their book.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: They're professional.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: And that is what they live off of. So that's
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: just one of the many things. But some people were
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: confused about that.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah. The AI thing, it seems to be... Because
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: they say AI could also write scripts and, you know...
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: So it's just about, will AI write a script as good?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: You know, who knows? You know, listen.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: I think they can do a formulaic thing. But what
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: you guys need that's not part of the business, why
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: you should... I believe we should support the writers and
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: the SAG actors.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Is because... It's to maintain not only the industry and
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: the positions and the jobs, but also the art. There's
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: not going to be twists. There's not going to be
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: things that just blow you away if we go this
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: route without them.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Also, not to sound like a hippy-dippy idiot here, loser, whatever,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: but the good thing about art is I always thought
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: that it can't be replicated by computers. You know what
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I mean? Yeah. That's the joy of it. Right. We
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: could all do. I mean, we all know what a
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: computer can do, but I don't know. It just looks
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: better when it's done by real people.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Well, I will say the.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Things are changing.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: What was the art thing that took off that now
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: is nothing? The photos that people could do that was
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: digital art that was such a big deal?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Yeah. What was that called?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Anyway, that's not a hit anymore.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I know. Well, here's the.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: NFTs.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: NFTs.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: NFTs, yeah.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: The other thing is, if you're a member of these guilds,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you know we struck years ago when cable first came.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: There were three networks, CBS, ABC, NBC, maybe Fox at
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: that time. And cable came and we were like, this
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: is it. The Hollywood shutting down. Cable television is going
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to kill everything. And we worked it out somehow. Then
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: came DVDs and VHS. This is going to be a problem.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: We're not getting the proper residuals off DVDs and VHS.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: We're going to die. We somehow work that out. I
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: feel like this is the next one. Streaming and Netflix
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and all that. They'll work it out somehow. But you
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: have to work it out.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: You have to work it out.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Because, like I said, I'm out of the business. I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: do what I do. Cover to cover. You do what
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: you do. I'll say this for both you and I
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: who do it well, I believe, podcasting. Here's what's going
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: to happen in the next couple of months because of
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: And it doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: There's going to be a glut of podcasts coming your way, everybody.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Everyone listening to this. Here they come. Every person who's
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: on Abbott Elementary and every other.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: I don't know that they'll be launching it. I think
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: they'll be available to be guests on it. And then
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: because I don't think, in my opinion, I don't think...
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Podcast networks are going to be giving out the money
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: that they gave out to Meghan Markle and a few
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: other people these last couple of years.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: It won't be that. It's not going to be that.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: So if they're launching it in their backyard, fine.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: But I don't even know that they're going to do that.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: But I think they would be available to be guests
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: on other things.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: But here's what agents and managers are going to be
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: doing right now because they're trying to keep their jobs too.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Maybe they will be like, start it. We got nothing
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: for you. But you're an interesting, funny guy. Start a podcast.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So for all of you who listen to this. You
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: need to support the people who are good at it.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Because you think this shit is easy.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: And advertisers. Right. Support the people that are good at it.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Yeah. You think what Heather does and what I do
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: are easy. It's not that easy. And you can listen
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: to some of these things. A lot of times we're
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: riffing and fucking whatever. We fuck up words and stuff
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: like that. But what we do is a skill.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: And we're entertaining. Yes.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: And we're entertaining at it.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: And we can create the content every day.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Thank you very much. That's my feature.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: With that being said, I am going to talk to
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: you more. But I'm going to end this show and
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: do some other topics and save it for future shows.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: So before we go.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Do you not want to talk about your weekend plans
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: that went awry?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Oh, I do want to. Let's talk about it real quick. Yeah.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: So I was home for the weekend and Peter and
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: Drake were not there, but I had Brandon and I
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: went to Alchwitz, as I said, at the Reagan Library.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Highly recommend. Go to these things earlier in the day
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: because then you walk outside and it's gorgeous and then
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: they're like, we're closing at five. Right. So I'm just saying,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: go to an earlier one. Then I went to my
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: country club and danced to a cover band, which was
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: kind of a weird thing to do right after Auschwitz.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: It's like the saddest story ever. I can't believe these
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: people lived through it. And then I danced with Brandy
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: and Julie and Liz to a cover band. And so
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: then I was like, well, I talked to Sarah and
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: she's very sad about the passing of her dad and
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: her husband was out of town. And I'm like, should
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: we get together at one of our pools this weekend?
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Would you like to do that? And she's like, yeah, maybe,
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: you know, whatever. So then I write both of you
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: guys and you go, I can do it Sunday. I
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: fly home Saturday. I can do it Sunday. Right. I
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: thought when you wrote that, I forgot that you were
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: in Montauk and I thought you were coming from some
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: sad gig. No. And you would have been down to
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: have us come over Sunday.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I would have.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Then I talked to Dr. Drew and Susan Pinsky. And Dr.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Drew is coming, people. He's coming. So be excited for that.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: And we're going to do a show.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: And then I said, what are you guys doing? And
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: we're just in our backyard. And they have a beautiful
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: house in Pasadena. And they're like, would you like to
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: come over? And I go, well, I kind of made
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: plans with, let me see. Let me see what I
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: can do. So then you're like, it's Beckett's birthday. We're
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: going to chill at the house. So then I tell Susan,
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: I'm going to be totally honest, Susan. I think I'm
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: going to go to Chris's maybe, you know, Pasadena is
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: like an hour away. And so I, I don't even
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: know if he wants us, but you go and invite
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: other people, have your own party. And she did already
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: go buy some noodles. I go, do you got some noodles?
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: And then she ran out and bought noodles and then
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I didn't even come.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Noodles for like the pool? Like the tubes, you know.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I could just like hang on a noodle.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I thought you meant to eat.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: No.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: And she also bought barbecue stuff.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: And so then I was like, I don't want to
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: be the only one you're like serving, you know? And
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: so then the next day I wake up and you're like,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: we just got home. Beckett's going to be, you know, grouchy, like,
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: I didn't realize you were flying home from a two-week
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: trip with your child. The fact that you ever even
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: considered wanting to have someone come over Sunday, even if
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: your flight was perfect, is stupid.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: You should have said no right then and there. And
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I said it in a very nice way. I was like,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: no worries, no pressure. Right.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: You did.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: So then I had to call.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: But I would have had you, just you over, yes,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: would have been fine.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: But yesterday you said no.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: You said see you Monday.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Because.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: And it felt very firm.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: I'm around the corner.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Let me tell you why. Because we were on the
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: runway at Kennedy.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Leaving.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: You get on the plane. You're like, all right, we're
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: taking off. And then it was like a two-hour wait,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you know, whatever. Air traffic control, blah, blah, blah. Then
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: we're like, oh, we get through that. And then we
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: land at LAX.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: And it's another, like, hour on the runway. And my
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: daughter's peeing her pants. It's, you know, wildness.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: We got shit. Remember that story about the woman they
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: made her pick up popcorn off the ground or whatever?
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you felt like you were there.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: You had to see our seats after it was over.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I mean, it looked like an encampment.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Listen, you shouldn't have people over after a day like that.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: And then two weeks, just chill.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: That's what we did.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: As delightful as I am, you don't need to see me, okay?
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: We chilled.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: So then I told Susan, I go, I'm out. She goes,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: nobody else could come, but we still would like to
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: have you. I go, just go skinny dip with Drew.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: You guys are like horny. Just go have a fun
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: time without me. Like, I can't.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: And so that was my thing. That's how it turned out. So,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: but then I had... Liz and her son come earlier
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: in the day, and then I had another one of
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: my friends and her son, both random friends, come. So
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: I had two small pool gatherings at my own house.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Oh, good. And so it all worked out. I enjoyed
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: my backyard in Woodland Hills.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: This weekend.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Speaking of Drew and Susan being horny, just going back
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to Just Like That. Now, I don't want to sound asexual.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: because I'm old, too. But I'm a bit much. It
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: does make me uncomfortable to see Evan Handler getting a
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: hand job and, you know, trying to come on. What's
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: her face?
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: That I really like.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: It's a lot. It's a lot. And I don't want
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: to be that person.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: The penis pump with the realtor girl. Yeah. That felt
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: very old school sex to the city. Very much what
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: would happen to Kim Cattrall.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: And I didn't hate that storyline.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: I thought.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: And I thought she was honest. Like, hey, I'll deal
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: with it. You know, at least he's kind of funny
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: and there isn't much out there. I thought that was
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: But we are watching Evan Handler pretend to have the comma.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: And his wig. Yeah. Yeah. So, Chris, besides being with
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: me coming up with the shows.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: We're doing those shows.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: We're doing those shows.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Are we doing stand-up or live Juicy Scoop?
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: We're doing stand-up.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Fun. Fun. But, you know, it's kind of, and then
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: in Sacramento and San Francisco, I think I will have
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: an element of the Juicy Scoop stuff with the photos
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: and stuff. But just trust me, guys. You can bring
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: your husband. He does not need to know about any
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: of this stuff. We make it funny. Just the show
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: will be great.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I had a blast in that San Diego. I haven't
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: seen you since San Diego. That show was so fun.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Both of us are doing very topical, fresh, funny stuff.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: So just come to the show. Do you have anything
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: else you want to promote?
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Please, like tomorrow, I'm in San Antonio, LOL.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Well, tomorrow, oh, on Tuesday?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: No, Wednesday, Wednesday, I'm at LOL Comedy. Let me just
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: give you, LOL Comedy Club, San Antonio, Wednesday night at 19.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: That's going to be fun shows. That is a great club.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Then I move on to Cap City in Austin, Capital
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: City Comedy Club in Austin.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Fun, fun, fun.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: That's on Thursday night, the 20th, and then the 21st,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I'm in Houston at the House of Blues.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: Sexy.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: And then August 9th, right before I meet you. I'm
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: at Comedy Works in Denver on a Wednesday night, August 9th. Denver.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Comedy Works South. You know, the one out there.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's the one I always play. I love
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: that one. I love that one. It's beautiful.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: So I'm doing it one night only. That's it.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: You are going to kill it.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Frangiole.fun, cover to cover, all those things and more.
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: click and collect.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: So easy.
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
