- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to Bill Gates, the fallout
- 0:08Speaker 1: due to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein continues to rain down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and now it's affecting the bottom line, and that's because
- 0:16Speaker 1: Warren Buffett has decided to pause his donations to the
- 0:21Speaker 1: Gates Foundation for the first time in twenty years. And
- 0:25Speaker 1: it's all fueled by Bill Gates and his relationship with
- 0:29Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. And not just the relationship. Remember the lies,
- 0:35Speaker 1: Remember how he tried to distance himself without coming clean.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And then ask yourself why a guy like Warren Buffett
- 0:43Speaker 1: would want to do business with a guy like Bill Gates.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It's just not going to happen. Warren Buffett's one of
- 0:49Speaker 1: the few people that we haven't seen caught up with
- 0:52Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit, and I think a lot of that
- 0:56Speaker 1: probably has to do with the fact that Warren Buffett
- 0:58Speaker 1: he knows better and he's not naive. Jeffrey Epstein didn't
- 1:02Speaker 1: offer anything to a guy like Warren Buffett, and to
- 1:06Speaker 1: tell you the truth, he didn't offer anything to a
- 1:08Speaker 1: guy like Bill Gates either. But Bill Gates has his
- 1:11Speaker 1: own proclivities. As we've heard, how many affairs are you
- 1:15Speaker 1: going to have on your wife? Dude? Just leave her.
- 1:18Speaker 1: So of course he's going to find a fellow traveler
- 1:21Speaker 1: in Jeffrey Epstein. Now does that mean Bill Gates was
- 1:24Speaker 1: engaging in abuse? No, but he had the same proclivities
- 1:28Speaker 1: like those Eastern European girls, and Jeffrey Epstein will perfect
- 1:32Speaker 1: guy to hang out with, right Bill Gates. But now
- 1:37Speaker 1: that Bill's come and do and it looks like it's
- 1:39Speaker 1: going to have a significant cost. So today we have
- 1:43Speaker 1: an article from The Independent and the headline Warren Buffett
- 1:46Speaker 1: freezes Gates Foundation donation as Epstein questions resurface. This article
- 1:52Speaker 1: was authored by Paul Farrell. Warren Buffett is reportedly withholding
- 1:57Speaker 1: his customary mid year multi billion dollars donation to the
- 2:01Speaker 1: Gates Foundation waiting for the findings of an internal review
- 2:04Speaker 1: into the organization's connections with the late convicted sex offender
- 2:08Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. Well, we know the review is going to
- 2:11Speaker 1: come back. Rosie. Ah, there was nothing to see here.
- 2:14Speaker 1: This is all overblown. Bill Gates was just misled, just
- 2:18Speaker 1: another victim, just another guy that got manipulated by the
- 2:22Speaker 1: master manipulator Jeffrey Epstein. That's the narrative they want you
- 2:26Speaker 1: to buy, and folks, I'm not buying it. The Wall
- 2:31Speaker 1: Street Journal first reported the delay on Monday. The foundation
- 2:34Speaker 1: has faced scrutiny following revelations of chairman Bill gates association
- 2:38Speaker 1: with Epstein. Further controversy arose in January when the US
- 2:43Speaker 1: Justice Department released emails showing communications between Epstein and staff
- 2:48Speaker 1: at the Gates Foundation, especially considering Bill Gates hasn't been
- 2:52Speaker 1: exactly truthful and we don't need every juicy detail, right,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but he just straight up lied. He tried to paint
- 3:01Speaker 1: the whole entire relationship built around charitable giving. But that's
- 3:05Speaker 1: not the whole truth, is it. Now that's a good shield,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and that's some good protection. But you mean to tell
- 3:13Speaker 1: me that Bill Gates need Jeffrey Epstein's money. He did not.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He knew what Jeffrey Epstein was. Maybe not the full extent,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but he knew, and guess what, he didn't care. Mark Sussman,
- 3:27Speaker 1: CEO of the Gates Foundation, initiated an external review to
- 3:31Speaker 1: examine past engagements with Epstein, with results anticipated this summer.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Buffett is expected to make his donation decision later in
- 3:39Speaker 1: the year, potentially coinciding with his Thanksgiving letter, according to
- 3:43Speaker 1: sources familiar with his plan, cited by The Wall Street Journal. Now,
- 3:48Speaker 1: is Warren Buffett just doing the right thing here or
- 3:51Speaker 1: does he really believe that there's some damning information that's
- 3:54Speaker 1: come out or that's gonna come out. It could be
- 3:58Speaker 1: that Buffet's just playing it safe. Look, we're gonna sit
- 4:01Speaker 1: on the sidelines. We're gonna let this play out. We're
- 4:04Speaker 1: gonna see what the review says, and then we'll go
- 4:06Speaker 1: from there. That would be the shrewd play and that's
- 4:09Speaker 1: probably what we're gonna see from Warren Buffett. And if
- 4:13Speaker 1: he doesn't like even a little bit of what's found
- 4:16Speaker 1: in that review, my guess is that Warren Buffett's gonna
- 4:19Speaker 1: pull back completely. Reuters could not immediately verify the report,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and Berkshire Hathaway and the Gates Foundation did not respond
- 4:27Speaker 1: to a request for comment. Buffett, the ninety five year
- 4:31Speaker 1: old chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, has contributed over forty seven
- 4:35Speaker 1: billion in conglomerate stock to the Gates Foundation over the
- 4:39Speaker 1: past two decades. Forty seven billion dollars. How much of
- 4:44Speaker 1: that money has gotten to the people or to these programs,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and how much of it has ended up in the
- 4:50Speaker 1: pockets of oligarts. My guess is the vast majority of
- 4:54Speaker 1: it has found its way into the pockets of rich people,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and not into uote unquote medicine research, unless we're talking
- 5:03Speaker 1: about some island of Doctor Moreau type shit, because that's
- 5:06Speaker 1: certainly possible. Gates testified before Congress earlier this month stating
- 5:11Speaker 1: that he did not fully understand the extent of Jeffrey
- 5:14Speaker 1: Epstein's crimes during their association, which he claim was aimed
- 5:18Speaker 1: at raising money for his philanthropic foundation. Epstein was the
- 5:22Speaker 1: only game in town, right, the only guy who had
- 5:25Speaker 1: any money. There are so many rich people that it's
- 5:29Speaker 1: not funny. And to think that a lot of these
- 5:34Speaker 1: people wouldn't want to jump into bed with Bill Gates
- 5:36Speaker 1: and have this kind of shine on them is ridiculous.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He talks all this nonsense about all these other people
- 5:43Speaker 1: who weren't willing to, you know, donate or whatever. But
- 5:45Speaker 1: you notice he doesn't have much to say about Glenn Dubin,
- 5:48Speaker 1: who Jeffrey Epstein obviously introduced to Bill Gates. And then
- 5:53Speaker 1: how much did Dubin donate to the Gates Foundation or
- 5:58Speaker 1: whatever dumbass name you have for it. Oh, that's right,
- 6:01Speaker 1: a ton of money. And I wish Congress would oppressed
- 6:03Speaker 1: him on that, but of course they didn't. I remember,
- 6:06Speaker 1: according to James Comer, Bill Gates was very forthcoming and
- 6:08Speaker 1: he answered our questions. Gates has maintained that he never
- 6:12Speaker 1: witnessed any criminal conduct from Epstein and accused Epstein of
- 6:16Speaker 1: Blackmailingham over extra marital affairs. These affairs had nothing to
- 6:20Speaker 1: do with my interactions with Jeffrey Epstein, but they were
- 6:24Speaker 1: painful for my family, Gates said in his opening statement.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Epstein was working to use this information about my infidelities,
- 6:31Speaker 1: in addition to many lies that he layered on top
- 6:34Speaker 1: to pressure me to re engage with him. And I'll
- 6:37Speaker 1: tell you what, that's kind of weird, considering the Justice
- 6:39Speaker 1: Department told us that nobody was blackmailed, that there was
- 6:43Speaker 1: no evidence that anything like that occurred. Meanwhile, you got
- 6:46Speaker 1: Bill Gates up here testifying that that's exactly what happened.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Congress has been investigating the Justice Department's handling of the
- 6:56Speaker 1: Epstein case. Gates testimony focused on his contacts with the
- 6:59Speaker 1: con vidicted sex offender who exploited vulnerable women and girls.
- 7:04Speaker 1: The Microsoft Corp. Founder provided private testimony to the House
- 7:08Speaker 1: Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is probing potential federal
- 7:12Speaker 1: mismanagement in the cases against Epstein and his associate Gulaine Maxwell,
- 7:18Speaker 1: among related issues and considering they said that this is
- 7:21Speaker 1: systemic and that there were so many issues BOP wide,
- 7:26Speaker 1: then I would expect people to get fired at the
- 7:28Speaker 1: end of all of this. Right people to be called
- 7:30Speaker 1: in who worked on the original Epstein situation, people that
- 7:35Speaker 1: were in the jail, people that made the decisions above them,
- 7:39Speaker 1: And while we're at it, why not call in Mark Philippe.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Representative James Comer, the Republican committee chairman, had requested Gates
- 7:47Speaker 1: appear for an in person transcribed interview in a March letter.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Gates reportedly hired Jay Greenberg, the Oversight Panel's former chief
- 7:55Speaker 1: investigative official, to prepare for his appearance, though a committee
- 7:59Speaker 1: spokesperson since stated they have not worked with Greenberg since
- 8:02Speaker 1: his departure. The fix is in, let me go and
- 8:07Speaker 1: get somebody that worked as an investigator for the House
- 8:09Speaker 1: Oversight Committee that's going to be questioning me and this
- 8:13Speaker 1: is how it works. When you have money, you can
- 8:15Speaker 1: make these moves. You can entice people to do shit.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You can get people to jump teams, just like we
- 8:21Speaker 1: saw down in South Florida when all those prosecutors who
- 8:24Speaker 1: had previously worked on the Epstein case decided to jump
- 8:27Speaker 1: ship and start working for Epstein himself, and according to
- 8:30Speaker 1: the DOJ, that's all good. Epstein pleaded guilty to a
- 8:35Speaker 1: Florida state felony prostitution charge in two thousand and eight,
- 8:39Speaker 1: serving thirteen months in jail. Federal prosecutors charged them with
- 8:43Speaker 1: sex trafficking of minors in twenty nineteen, but he pleaded
- 8:47Speaker 1: not guilty and died by suicide allegedly later that year
- 8:51Speaker 1: before his trial. Fox News is all in on suicide now. Meanwhile,
- 8:56Speaker 1: for years they were the biggest promoter of Epstein didn't
- 8:59Speaker 1: kill himself, but now that it's not politically convenient, while
- 9:03Speaker 1: Fox is singing a new tune. Documents released by the
- 9:06Speaker 1: Justice Department this year indicated that Gates and Epstein met
- 9:09Speaker 1: repeatedly after Epstein's two thousand and eight prison term to
- 9:13Speaker 1: discuss expanding the tech billionaire's philanthropic efforts, and it never
- 9:18Speaker 1: made sense. I don't mean to keep going back to this,
- 9:21Speaker 1: But when you have as much money as Bill Gates,
- 9:23Speaker 1: doesn't make sense to try and chase Jeffrey Epstein down
- 9:27Speaker 1: to get money from him. Of course it doesn't. If
- 9:30Speaker 1: he doesn't pony up right away, you keep it moving.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So there was another reason why Bill Gates wanted to
- 9:36Speaker 1: hang out with Epstein. What that reason is, we just
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't know yet. The documents also included redacted photographs of
- 9:44Speaker 1: Gates with females. Gates has previously characterized as relationship with
- 9:48Speaker 1: Epstein as limited to philanthropy related discussions, and has acknowledged
- 9:53Speaker 1: it was a mistake to meet with them, but he
- 9:56Speaker 1: kept doing it. The only reason he had as any
- 10:00Speaker 1: kinds of contrition is because he's been outed and it's
- 10:03Speaker 1: costing him financially. Besides that, do you really think Bill
- 10:07Speaker 1: Gates gives a shit about any of those girls that
- 10:10Speaker 1: were abused. A spokesperson for the Gates Foundation confirmed that
- 10:15Speaker 1: Gates took responsibility for his actions during a February town
- 10:19Speaker 1: hall meeting with the employees. The controversy surrounding gates relationship
- 10:23Speaker 1: with Epstein prompted the Gates Foundation to launch its own
- 10:27Speaker 1: external review in April, further fueled by the January release
- 10:31Speaker 1: of Justice Department emails showing communication between Epstein and Foundation staff. So,
- 10:37Speaker 1: as of now this has cost Bill Gates Warren Buffett.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Now is that going to be a permanent thing or
- 10:44Speaker 1: is Warren Buffet going to come back to the table
- 10:46Speaker 1: after this report? And if he doesn't come back, how
- 10:50Speaker 1: many other investors are going to leave with them? I
- 10:52Speaker 1: think that's a big question too. So, like usual, we'll
- 10:56Speaker 1: keep an eye on this one and when we have
- 10:58Speaker 1: some more information or the other will get it added
- 11:01Speaker 1: to the catalog. All the information that goes with this
- 11:04Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
