Transcript
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to Crushing Strongholds.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: This is a podcast where we turn pain into power, trauma into triumph, and a place where we expose the lies of the enemy.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: We also like to crush the curses that have been placed upon us.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And how do we do that?
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: We do that by um equipping believers and teaching them about grace and truth and the power of Jesus Christ.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: And just to let you know, crushing strongholds is about dismantling the things that hold us back from our God-giving purpose.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And your voice and your testimony, it matters it matters in that.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: And it also plays a really big part in dismantling those strongholds.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: So that's what this podcast is about.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: We want to crush some strongholds.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: And today, specifically, um, I want to dive in.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: But I am your host, I'm a Christian life coach, and I'm happy to be here with you today.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Um, the episode I want to talk about today, I kind of wasn't sure where I wanted to go today.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: So if I seem a little scrambled, it's because I'm a little torn in a couple directions, but um I think I have it figured out.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Um, the title of this episode is called Examine Yourself.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Now, this could go in several different directions, but there's one direction I want it to go into, and that's that's through the teaching of Paul.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: And Paul is um known as Saul in the Bible, and for all of the bad things he did, you know, and um he used to persecute and kill Christians, and he used to destroy churches, you know, and there was a lot, a lot of that going on before um Paul surrendered and was given the name Paul, excuse me.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Now, because of what he did, a lot of people looked at him as weak, and they also looked at him um as a person that could not and should not and would not ever have um a position of authority.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: But see, here's the thing: God gave him a position of authority, and we're gonna look at that today.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: So in 2 Corinthians 13, 1 through 6, I want to read all six verses because it's really important that we dive into this.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Okay, get your Bibles out.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Let's read this today because this is gonna be some heavy, thick, great stuff today.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Um I'm I'm so excited.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Um I'm really, really anxious about getting into this.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Okay, so 2 Corinthians 13 says, This will be the third time I am coming to you by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word shall be established.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: I have told you before and foretell as if I were present the second time, and now being absent I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: For though he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by the power of God.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: For we also are weak in him, but he shall live, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith, test yourselves.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Do you not know yourself that Jesus Christ is in you?
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Unless indeed you are disqualified.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Such a powerful scripture, so powerful.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: I had to read this so many times to myself.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: And as I was studying it and praying and asking God to show me some things, the reason I titled this message, Examine Yourself, because God literally spoke to me and He said, if we're gonna claim to be Christians, we need to examine who we are in Christ.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Because to be a Christian means to be a follower of Christ.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Now, I have to say this, and it's probably going to upset some people, but it also talks about in the end times how Christians are going to fight Christians, they're going to go up against each other.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: And here's why.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: I'm going to tell you why.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Because just because you say you know God and you know Jesus does not make you a Christian.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: It doesn't make you a Christian.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Having a relationship with Jesus, accepting Him in your heart, repenting of your sins, and working on examining yourself, that's what makes you a Christian.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: So I think the battle isn't Christians against Christians, it's false Christians against Christians because we get twisted.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: But see, the enemy also knows Jesus.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: The enemy also knows God.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: The enemy also believes that there is a God and believes that there is Jesus.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: But the enemy doesn't follow after Jesus.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: The enemy follows after worldly things.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Evil, demonic, entertainment, selfishness, bitter, unforgiveness, hatefulness.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: There is so much that we follow in the world that has nothing to do with Jesus.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Jesus actually says, steer clear of that.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Do not partake in the world.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: And it seems like an it's like an awkward thing to ask somebody to do when you live in the world.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you not partake in the world if you live in it?
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: You don't have to.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: You don't have to be like everyone else.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: So God's characteristics when designing us with a God-giving purpose, he has six characteristics.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: And one of his characteristics is he created us uniquely.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: You're unique, I'm unique, I'm not you, you're not me.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: There's no way about it.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: I can't be you, you're already taken.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: You can't be me, I'm already taken.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I've said this before in a couple other podcasts.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I'll probably say it again.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: So you know, if I if I do, I do.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: But in Christ, I have to examine who I am in Christ.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I can't sit here and point my finger at you and who you are in Christ.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: But you can.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: You can point the finger at you and examine yourself.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: So the problem that I see with some authority is this Christians claiming Christianity, but not truly being Christians.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I bring this up is because there's been some times in my life as a Christian where people have said, I don't think you're a Christian.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: I've seen how you live, I've seen the mistakes you've made.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: I've seen your foolishness.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: I've seen your sin.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: See, and I agree, I agree with that.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: That was not an example of Christianity, that behavior, my behavior.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: And see, today I'm being transparent because you know why I'm examining myself.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: And not only am I examining myself, but I'm sharing that examination with you.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: Not that I need to or or have to, but I want to because there is freedom and transparency.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: And not that I didn't love Jesus or want or want to follow Jesus, but it was really easy to go backwards, especially during painful situations or heartache would come or whatever.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: And I'd go backwards and go backwards and go backwards, go back to the beginning, go back to where my pain started.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: We have to examine ourselves.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: How can I say that I have authority as a Christian unless I truly believe in Jesus Christ and I'm following after Christ?
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: See, when we follow Jesus Christ, he gives us the authority.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: See, Paul stopped murdering Christians and he stopped tearing down the churches and he started building up the churches.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: And he started discipling Christians all over.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And I know people that knew that he murdered Christians were probably thinking, how in the world is this possible?
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: See, we disqualified Saul.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: God qualified him.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: He qualified him.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: God calls the disqualified and he qualifies them.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: We don't get to decide who God chooses, but we sure like to.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: There's times when I've looked at people and I thought, they're a Christian?
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: And I and I would doubt their Christianity.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Just like people that looked at me and doubted my Christianity.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: And they had every right to do so.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: I believe they had every right to do so.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Even though people say, well, they shouldn't judge.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: The Bible talks about judgment.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Y'all need to read the word.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Like there's some things that people are saying out in the world that are not in this book.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: That are not in the book.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Saying, oh, we are not to judge people.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Yes, we are.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, we are.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: It's not our place, you know, on judgment day to decide whether they're going to heaven or hell.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: But we are we are to have judgment when we are around people.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: That's called discernment also.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: And if we're around people that are sinning and we see that, that's a judgment call.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: If I am having a relationship out of marriage, and I say I'm a Christian, and somebody confronts me and tells me that that's adultery, are they judging me or are they speaking truth to me?
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: I have to ask you that.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Because I've done that.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: After my divorce, I didn't want to get married again.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I had relationships and um I decided I just wasn't gonna get married again.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: And then I was called names.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: I was called a whore.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: I was called all kinds of things, even by my own mother.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: My mom started that trend.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: My mom told everybody I was a whore because I wasn't married.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: So um, and I understood that.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: And honestly, it that didn't help me at all.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: It actually hurt me quite a bit, but it didn't help me.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: I had to repent for that.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And now I don't have any relationships like that.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I don't have a relationship because I'm not married, and I won't have one until I get married.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And even though I've already been married and I've already had relationships, people say, well, it doesn't work like that.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: Well, forgiveness does.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Once you examine yourself and you see the areas that you need to fix and improve, God forgives us, God is merciful.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: God is a powerful, so powerful.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't even know how I could explain how much power he has.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Even though Paul talks about him being crucified in weakness, think about how weak he had to have been.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Going to the cross with the entire world's sin.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: That was just one of my sins that I shared with you.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: I have many and have had many.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: I've made lots of mistakes in my lifetime.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Perfection is something I've never tried to do.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: I've never tried to be perfect, you know, ever.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And don't try it because you'll fail at it.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: You'll fail at that.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: But it's okay to try to do the things that are right in this world.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: So, having that said, I just really want to focus on examining yourself.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: And it says again in chapter 13, 2 Corinthians 13, chapter 5, it says, examine yourself as to whether you are in faith.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Test yourself.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Do you not know yourself that Jesus Christ is in you?
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Unless indeed you are disqualified.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: We're not disqualified.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: We need to examine ourselves.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: We need to get in this word and figure out our identity, who we are, why we are, how we are, what we're to be doing, what obedience we're supposed to be walking in, who we're supposed to be hanging out with, what we're supposed to be saying.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: We need to be careful.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: We gotta be careful.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: I try to be careful.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Um, I I used to have a really rampant mouth.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: You can ask a lot of people.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: A lot of people tell you.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Because I just, you know, I I just spoke out of emotions.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: My intelligence, out the window.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: People would be like, that woman is an idiot.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And I'm okay with saying that because I know, I know it.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: I'm not, I mean, I used to be ashamed of myself for that.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I'm not anymore because I know God forgave me.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: And I've asked many other people to forgive me too for certain things that I've said in my past.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Because it would, you know, that's how I was spoken to my whole life.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: That's how I was spoken about my whole entire life.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: And that's some of the things that I had to break off of me no longer were acceptable in my life because I examined who I was in Christ.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: I didn't have to allow what I was taught how to do, or how I was treated, or whatever I went through, whatever experience I gained on the way to bring me to where I was in that part of my life, I had the choice to examine myself and make a decision.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Is this how I want to be?
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And is this who I want to be?
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Is this who God wanted me to be?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: God designed me with a purpose and a great one.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And it took me a long, long, long, long, long time to ever say, you know what, I'm okay with me.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: I'm still not at a 100% part where I'm like, I really like who I am 100%, because there's still a lot of people out there that don't have nice things to say.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: They don't have anything nice to say.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: Just like the Corinthians are questioning Paul and his authority over the church, and as a Christian, they questioned his authority because of what he had done in his past.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: His authority doesn't come from people, it comes from Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: My authority doesn't come from people, it comes from what Jesus did on the cross for me.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: And that's who I own up to, and that's who I answer to.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: I don't have to answer to anyone else.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: I don't have to do that.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: I used to think that I had to answer to everyone.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: I have to have a comment, I have to have a reply, I have to have an answer.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Neither do you.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: And that's the great thing about examining yourself.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: You're gonna test your own faith.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: What are you putting your faith in?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: If you're putting your faith in this world and what other people say about you, or what other people tell you to do, or what other people say they think about you, or or whatever it is that that that's going on like that, you need to examine that.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: Step back, check out the scene, and examine it.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And then examine it with yourself in your own faith and the word of God and see where it lines up.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: Where does it line up?
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: And see, some of the things that people, well, let me say this: a lot of things people have said about me in my past didn't add up to what God says about me.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: You won't measure up, you have no idea what you're talking about.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, you don't know nothing.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: You don't have a clue.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I was talking, I want to share this story real quick before I jump off from here.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I was talking with my daughter just today, and we were talking, and she told me something that really surprised me because my daughter's very intelligent.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Very intelligent.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: She's an author, she's a book editor, she owns a bookstore.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Um, she's very good at what she does.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: She works very hard.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: She has her kids.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Um gives and gives.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: She helps people all the time.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Somebody comes in with a need, she's right, she's right there.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: She's right there to help.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: I have seen her bend over backwards time and time again, and give and give and give and give when she didn't have to.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: She just did it out of the kindness of her heart.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: Now, can she be Henri at times?
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: She's she's got my genes.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: She can have that.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, fortunately, there are some things that are, you know, genetically attached to us, but that's beside the point.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: She was talking to me today, and she said that um we were talking about imposture um syndrome.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: And um imposture syndrome.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: I think I said that wrong, sorry.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Anyway, and that's how I felt.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: I felt like that starting this podcast.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: I felt like that when I went back to school and I was doing my assignments, and I was looking up and doing my research and working on my book and working on this podcast and working on all the things where God was tugging me and kind of pushing me into it, and I kept backing out because I kept thinking, no, I don't have enough intelligence.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know enough.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: You know why?
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Because people said I was clueless, because people said I was, you know, not smart.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: They said I had no idea what I was talking about.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: God said otherwise.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: So I just want to encourage you today to get into the scripture right here.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: 2 Corinthians chapter 13, 1 through 6.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Read it, examine it, examine yourself.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Examine it, examine yourself.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Look it up.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Look it up and see what it says about Paul.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Look up Paul.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Look how many books of the Bible he wrote for someone who was disqualified.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: Are you feeling disqualified today?
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Who qualifies you?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: My friends, I'm not qualifying you.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: I'm not disqualifying you.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: God is.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: God is going to be the one to qualify or disqualify you.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: He's the one who chooses us.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: He chose us in the very beginning.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: God's not gonna disqualify you.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: But people will.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: So who are you gonna follow after?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Those who disqualify you or those who qualify you?
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Those the ones, the ones that take you to the finish line, or the ones that cause you to fall down every single time and not help you get back up.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Where are you today?
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Examine yourself.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: Examine your faith.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Where are you with Christ?
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: Are you a Christian?
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: True and true Christian.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: I doubted my salvation for years because what other people told me until I opened up this book and read what it said about me.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: This book is about me.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: This book is about you.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: I am so passionate about Jesus.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I want everyone to know.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: You know, in Mark, um, gosh, I don't know what scripture it is.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: 16, I think, something like that, says, we are to take the gospel and go tell everyone about Jesus.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Are you doing that?
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: If you're a Christian, you're doing that.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: If you're not a Christian, the only time you say Jesus is when it's a cuss word.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: I used to do that too.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: I used to swear really bad.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I catch myself, sometimes it slips, and I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: That's that little part of backslidding, backtracking stuff that happens because that's our bad habit coming back.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: We have to stop it and we have to correct it and we have to examine it.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Stay in the examination stage until you get it figured out.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Once you figure out if you're truly a Christian or not, you'll know how to how to truly live for Christ.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: When you decide, if you make that decision, that honest decision, that when you ask Jesus into your heart and you ask him to take away your sin, that means you don't keep walking in the same direction as your sin.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: That means you turn and walk away from your sin.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: Not that it's not going to come back around and hit you in the face, because it will.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: You're going to be tempted and you're going to be tested.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And there's going to be some times that you trip and fall, but guess what?
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: Guess who picks you up?
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: It's not going to be the one who disqualified you.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: It's going to be God.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Because he has all authority and all the power to qualify you.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: Because he loves you.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: He loves you.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: He loves you more than anybody could ever love you.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: Because he created you.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: Created you to be unique.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And on that note, I just want to share with you.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: I know this was kind of deep and a little bit heavy today, but on that note, I wanted to share with you that in my coaching program, and this is nothing in regards to other coaches because there's a lot of great coaches out there.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: I went through a coaching program.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: I was coached.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: I went and got help from a minister and from a Christian that helped me.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: And it was one of the best things I ever did before I went back to ministry school.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: Before I decided to go back and further my education and just to do something for myself, which I hadn't done in years, hadn't done anything for myself in years.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: I was always busy taking care of so many other things and other people.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: And you can still take care of yourself and take care of other people, by the way, it's possible.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: But on that note, my coaching program is uniquely designed for you.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: It's not a cookie-cutter version.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: That didn't just make a loud noise.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: It's not a cookie-cutter version.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: God didn't make you with a cookie cutter version.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to design a coaching program based on a cookie cutter version.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: I'm not just going to go, oh yeah, take my program.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Take my program.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Now I do have some programs that are just kind of basic.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: I call them boosters.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Like the power hour and the boosters.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Because those are just those are just pick-me-ups and starters to get you going, okay?
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we just need a kick in the pants.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we just need someone to say, hey, you got this.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: God's in your corner.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: You're good.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: But the coaching program that I designed is for individuals uniquely.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: So once I get to meet with you, I do a 90-day coaching program.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: The first um hour that I meet with you, I want to know what it is about you that we're going to work on.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: And then the following week, your program will be done.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: It'll be written.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: And it'll be formatted around the needs that you have because your strongholds are not the same as mine.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: They may be similar, but I can guarantee you 100% that your story is not the same as mine.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Nobody's story is going to be the same.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Nobody's story.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: And your story is for you to tell and not anybody else.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: So if you have that, if you have a testimony and a story where you want to come on here and get interviewed and share how you crushed a major stronghold in your life where you already went through the examination process and you got right, and you were like, I am a Christian, and I did go through this, and this did happen.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: I'm going to share my story.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: If that's you, get a hold of me because I want you on my podcast.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: I want you to share your story.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: So think about it.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Whether you need coaching or whether you have a testimony, just reach out to me and let me know.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: And if you need prayer, reach out to me too.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: On my webpage, crushingstrongholds.com.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: If you go to the welcome information, fill out your name, subscribe, and in the notes, just put on there testimony.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Um, if you have a testimony you want to share, if you need prayer, go to prayer.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: There's actually in um my sessions, you can actually go in and schedule prayer time with me.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: Just go in and schedule it.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Say hey, I want I want some prayer time.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: Any of that.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: There's a lot on there that you can check out and do.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: Um, I want to do what God tells me to do.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: I want to be obedient.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: I want to be obedient in his word.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: I didn't want to do this podcast for a long time.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: It took me over a year.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: God kept nudging me and pushing me and said, You gotta do this.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: You can do this, you can do this.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: It's okay, you can do this.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: You matter too.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: God showed me that.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: I'm so thankful.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, I just wanted to share that with you today.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: I told you my heart was a little bit all over the place and it was kind of heavy.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Sorry if that was a little bit much for y'all today.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: But I just want to thank y'all for being here.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: This has been another great episode of Crushing Strongholds.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: And I can't wait to see you for the next one.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: So listen in, like, and share.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Send me a comment, even ask for prayer.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: But either way, whatever you do, God bless and take care.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: And I'll talk to you next time.
