- 0:00Today we're looking at a really powerful collaboration
- 0:02over in Dubai. The Youth Council of Dubai Electricity
- 0:06and Water Authority, in cooperation with Microsoft,
- 0:09organized an interactive workshop to showcase
- 0:12the latest Microsoft technologies with a particular
- 0:15focus on artificial intelligence and digital
- 0:18innovation tools. Yeah, indeed. And the spotlight
- 0:22was firmly on artificial intelligence and all
- 0:24these new digital innovation tools. These solutions
- 0:27are designed to boost productivity, strengthen
- 0:30institutional communication, and support informed
- 0:32decision -making. And I love that these aren't
- 0:35just abstract concepts, right? The announcement
- 0:38was really specific that these solutions are
- 0:40for tangible outcomes. I mean, things like boosting
- 0:43productivity, strengthening communication inside
- 0:46the organization, and of course, helping to make
- 0:49better decisions. Exactly. This is all about
- 0:52real -world application. Workshop participants
- 0:55got to learn about the practical uses of AI in
- 0:58modern work, and they even saw live presentations
- 1:00of the latest Microsoft solutions, including
- 1:03the Microsoft 365 Co -Pilot Smart Assistant.
- 1:07You can think of it as an intelligent partner
- 1:09just helping employees to improve their performance
- 1:12and productivity. What's so compelling to me
- 1:14is the strategic vision behind it. Aisha Mohammed
- 1:18Al -Ramaithi, who's the Youth Council president,
- 1:21she really articulated this vision perfectly.
- 1:24Here's what she said. We support the efforts
- 1:27of top management to empower the youth and provide
- 1:30training and awareness programs, courses, and
- 1:33initiatives that enhance their ability to understand
- 1:36and use AI solutions responsibly and ethically,
- 1:40particularly as they are the demographic group
- 1:43that interacts with AI tools the most. We encourage
- 1:46them to continuously learn and continue developing
- 1:49skills in various fields, which supports their
- 1:52readiness for the future and ensures their active
- 1:55participation in developing solutions and services
- 1:58that help achieve national goals. That quote,
- 2:02that's really the core of the whole story. It
- 2:05shows this is not just a technology rollout.
- 2:07It's a deep investment in human capital. And
- 2:10they're focusing on the youth because they recognize
- 2:12they are the primary adopters of all these new
- 2:15tools. And that emphasis on using AI responsibly
- 2:18and ethically, that's so critical. They're building
- 2:22a foundation of not just competence, but conscience,
- 2:25too. So by empowering their young employees this
- 2:28way, they're really ensuring their readiness
- 2:30for the future. It really is a model for how
- 2:33large organizations can navigate the whole AI
- 2:36revolution by placing people, and especially
- 2:39the next generation, right at the center of the
- 2:42strategy. It's a truly forward -thinking initiative.
- 2:45Now, here's a question we'd like you, our listeners,
- 2:47to think about. As AI becomes more integrated
- 2:51into our daily work, what is the single most
- 2:53important skill? technical or otherwise, that
- 2:57organizations should be teaching their employees
- 2:59to ensure a successful and ethical transition.
