- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. It's Mark Simone on.
- 0:08Speaker 2: 710WOR.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, it's almost Friday. Well, Thursday. That's close. That's very close.
- 0:16Speaker 1: A lot to get to today. We'll get to Vivek Ramaswamy. Oh,
- 0:20Speaker 1: is there a lot of controversy in Ohio? We'll get
- 0:23Speaker 1: to Mamdani, the real story of Mamdani. We'll get to...
- 0:28Speaker 1: The race for governor, there's a poll out. Ooh, this
- 0:31Speaker 1: Quinnipiac poll. It shows Hochul in the lead. Don't believe
- 0:34Speaker 1: this poll for one second. We'll show you how messed
- 0:38Speaker 1: up this poll is, how bad the metrics are in it.
- 0:42Speaker 1: We'll get to, oh, we'll get to that crazy little
- 0:45Speaker 1: Brad Lander. We'll get to Omar, Elon Omar, who looks
- 0:52Speaker 1: like she's choking up over her. He's definitely in a
- 0:56Speaker 1: lot of trouble. Hey, let's get to this Vivek Ramaswamy controversy.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Vivek Ramaswamy, you remember him. Well, he's running for governor
- 1:06Speaker 1: of Ohio against a woman named Amy Acton. And, you know,
- 1:11Speaker 1: they do all these political ads back and forth. So
- 1:14Speaker 1: apparently Amy Acton is a very troubled, weird, and the
- 1:18Speaker 1: whole family thing. I don't know. It's very strange. So
- 1:21Speaker 1: the mother agrees to record an ad denouncing her daughter,
- 1:29Speaker 1: telling people don't vote for her. She's a liar. To
- 1:32Speaker 1: be clear, this is... Wait, let me find, here it is.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I received a... Nope, that's not it. This is it. Listen,
- 1:37Speaker 1: this is the mother. They got the mother to record
- 1:40Speaker 1: this ad denouncing the Democrat candidate.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying
- 1:46Speaker 2: about her opponent, it's not easy for a mother to
- 1:49Speaker 2: say this, but Amy has a serious problem. She is
- 1:54Speaker 2: a liar. She lies about her past. She says she
- 1:58Speaker 2: grew up living in a tent. None of that is true.
- 2:02Speaker 2: She's lied her entire life. My daughter needs help, and
- 2:07Speaker 2: she can't help you if she needs help herself. People
- 2:11Speaker 2: can change, but first they have to tell the truth,
- 2:15Speaker 2: and my daughter still isn't doing that. Don't vote for
- 2:18Speaker 2: people who lie. Don't let her become your governor. If
- 2:23Speaker 2: you think she'll make your life better, you're fooling yourself.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It will only get worse.
- 2:30Speaker 1: All right. There's controversy all over Ohio. Outrage from the Democrats.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Outrage from the media. This, using the family. You don't
- 2:40Speaker 1: bring somebody's family into this. This crosses a line. Except
- 2:48Speaker 1: if you're a Democrat. Sorry. The Democrats invented this. Do
- 2:53Speaker 1: you remember five minutes ago when RFK Jr. was trying
- 2:56Speaker 1: to run for president? And then they got his whole family,
- 3:00Speaker 1: they got the entire Kennedy family to record ads denouncing him.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You remember they had Caroline Kennedy do an ad saying
- 3:07Speaker 1: the guy's a nut, he's crazy, he's a lunatic, he's
- 3:10Speaker 1: a liar, don't vote for him. They got everybody in
- 3:13Speaker 1: the Kennedy family to do one of these ads. But
- 3:17Speaker 1: that's the double standard Democrats are famous for. If you're
- 3:20Speaker 1: a Democrat, that's fine. It's fine. If you're a fake Ramaswamy, outrage,
- 3:25Speaker 1: absolute outrage. But again, this has been done many times before.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And just two seconds ago, Democrats did it with the
- 3:33Speaker 1: Kennedy family, denouncing RFK Jr. Even when it was talking
- 3:36Speaker 1: to him becoming Secretary of Health, they got the family
- 3:40Speaker 1: to record ads, denouncing him again. It's done all the
- 3:44Speaker 1: time by Democrats. Here's Ramaswamy.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I would love for this race and this election to
- 3:51Speaker 3: be about the substantive issues that impact Ohioans. And unfortunately,
- 3:56Speaker 3: Amy Acton has been hiding from those issues.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I mean, it's a crazy ad to do,
- 4:03Speaker 1: but it's a Democrat tactic. He stole it from them.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I mean, if there's outrage, it should be plagiarism. He
- 4:10Speaker 1: just stole the tactic the Democrats used.
- 4:12Speaker 3: To be clear, this is not new. Her mother has
- 4:15Speaker 3: spoken out for years. And I don't know Amy Acton's mother,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and I've never met Amy Acton either. What I do
- 4:21Speaker 3: know is that Amy Acton has been repeatedly and serially
- 4:25Speaker 3: dishonest during this campaign.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Do you see this as a petty move of it?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Excuse me?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Do you see it as a petty move?
- 4:32Speaker 3: On behalf of her mother.
- 4:32Speaker 1: To speak out?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Her mother chose to speak out.
- 4:34Speaker 1: She spoke out several years ago.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That's between Amy Acton and her mother.
- 4:38Speaker 2: On behalf of the ad being put out.
- 4:40Speaker 3: For our part, we believe that the best way to
- 4:42Speaker 3: do this would be to have an open debate between
- 4:44Speaker 3: the two candidates.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, when he says he never met the opponent,
- 4:48Speaker 1: never met her. How did that happen? Because she refuses
- 4:51Speaker 1: to debate him. She refuses to debate. So it's like
- 4:55Speaker 1: Hochul refusing to debate Blakeman. She agreed to one debate.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Normally you do two or three. She turned down all
- 5:02Speaker 1: the real debates, Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 7. She
- 5:05Speaker 1: only agreed to one on this little thing that nobody
- 5:08Speaker 1: sees called New York One, also because it's a very, very,
- 5:12Speaker 1: very biased left-wing thing. And the moderators will protect her,
- 5:16Speaker 1: which they did during the debate. Anytime Blakeman got going, oh,
- 5:19Speaker 1: we have to move on. We have to move on.
- 5:21Speaker 1: They cut him right off. He's speaking to which it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: all over the place, this poll. Remember, I keep telling you,
- 5:26Speaker 1: warning you about these fake public polls, these fake college polls,
- 5:30Speaker 1: fake media polls. Don't pay any attention to them. The
- 5:34Speaker 1: metrics are rigged. They deliberately undersample Republicans like crazy. They
- 5:40Speaker 1: don't use likely voters, which you're supposed to use. They
- 5:43Speaker 1: use whoever the hell they want. They don't use the
- 5:45Speaker 1: right demos. So this goes on all the time. Only, only,
- 5:50Speaker 1: only rely on the real, what they call the internal polls,
- 5:54Speaker 1: the ones the candidates use. Much more accurate, much more expensive.
- 5:59Speaker 1: That's why the media doesn't have them. So this new
- 6:02Speaker 1: poll is everybody's talking about this Quinnipiac poll. Quinnipiac. I'm
- 6:07Speaker 1: looking at the metrics in this poll. They stink. They're ridiculous.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It shows Blakeman behind 14 points. Don't believe that for
- 6:16Speaker 1: a second. We had the greatest pollster go through the metrics,
- 6:20Speaker 1: look at them. The metrics in this Quinnipiac poll are
- 6:24Speaker 1: ridiculously stupid. The Republicans were only 22% of the sample.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Only 20, so 80% of the sample is Democrats. It's
- 6:34Speaker 1: basically a poll sampling Democrats. They didn't carefully select anybody.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It was randomly dialed numbers. They didn't use a voter list.
- 6:45Speaker 1: They cite votes by demographic groups, but there's no disclosure
- 6:49Speaker 1: of the demographics for the total poll. They don't, you're
- 6:53Speaker 1: supposed to do all this, but they don't do it
- 6:54Speaker 1: in this poll. They don't tell you what race, what age,
- 6:57Speaker 1: what education, what religion they use. And again, it's a
- 7:00Speaker 1: poll of Democrats. Republicans were only 22% of the sample.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But no matter how many times you tell people this,
- 7:09Speaker 1: they'll run around quoting these polls. Well, they saw it
- 7:12Speaker 1: on the news. They saw it in a newspaper. Well,
- 7:16Speaker 1: it was on Politico. They'll quote it. You could show them,
- 7:20Speaker 1: here's the demographic feed. Here's the methodology. It stinks. It's rigged.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It's stupid. It's awful. They'll still quote these polls the
- 7:29Speaker 1: next day. So, Disregarded. Blakeman is neck and neck with Hochul.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Anything could happen now. It's been a while. It's been
- 7:38Speaker 1: a long time since a Republican won. Pataki, the last
- 7:40Speaker 1: Republican governor. But it looks pretty good for Blakeman right now.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You've got to get out and vote. That's the whole
- 7:45Speaker 1: key to this. It's all about turnout. If Republicans turn out,
- 7:49Speaker 1: they'll win. You can start early voting in New York
- 7:52Speaker 1: on Saturday. Connecticut, they already got it. But New York State,
- 7:55Speaker 1: governor's race, early voting starts Saturday. So do it this weekend.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Go out and vote. this weekend. So, uh, uh, Elon Omar,
- 8:05Speaker 1: she's in real trouble. Elon Omar is not going to
- 8:08Speaker 1: survive this. She is, uh, going to be deported or more. Well,
- 8:13Speaker 1: listen to president Trump. You know, they keep talking about deportation.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Now she could go to jail. Uh, this is just
- 8:19Speaker 1: my opinion. I think she's a sick, a very dishonest person, but, uh,
- 8:25Speaker 1: who hates our country.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So, uh, uh, If you want to cover yourself legally,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you always say opinion. You can't just say it. He's
- 8:34Speaker 1: actually thinking. She's a dishonest, crooked person. But publicly you say,
- 8:38Speaker 1: in my opinion, she's a great lawsuit-wise that helps protect you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: She's done a video begging for money because she knows
- 8:48Speaker 1: she's going to have to spend a fortune on attorneys
- 8:51Speaker 1: to fight this. So she's looking for money. The other
- 8:54Speaker 1: thing you do if you're a politician, anytime there's scandal
- 8:57Speaker 1: or anytime there's an indictment, anytime you're accused of a crime,
- 9:00Speaker 1: You always, always use it to fundraise. Here's her video.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Everyone who sent $ 5, $ 10, $ 20, that goes a long
- 9:05Speaker 4: way as we fight Trump and His administration for trying
- 9:15Speaker 4: to intimidate me and so many people right before the
- 9:20Speaker 4: midterm elections. We know that they're running scared. We're not
- 9:24Speaker 4: going to be intimidated. Please continue to support us. We
- 9:27Speaker 4: appreciate whether you're able to send 5, 10, 20.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Aha!
- 9:32Speaker 1: Look at that. She's firm. She's defiant. Well, they had
- 9:36Speaker 1: some body language experts go over the video and look
- 9:39Speaker 1: at it. They all said the same thing. She demonstrated
- 9:42Speaker 1: deception at all times. Body language experts say it was
- 9:47Speaker 1: a nervous smile. Her eyes are not smiling, so it's
- 9:50Speaker 1: not genuine. The lips curve downward. The raising of her
- 9:55Speaker 1: eyebrows reflect that she's questioning her own words. Body experts.
- 10:00Speaker 1: declare she's scared and she's lying. So just bear that
- 10:05Speaker 1: in mind as you watch that video. Oh, she did
- 10:08Speaker 1: grant one interview. This is like Kathy Hochul. I'll only
- 10:11Speaker 1: give one debate and it has to be on the
- 10:13Speaker 1: most left-wing biased channel of all. She only gave one interview.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Same thing. It's only going to be on the most
- 10:18Speaker 1: left-wing biased biased it's it's on msnbc uh ilan omar
- 10:23Speaker 1: being interviewed.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Who was this man that was your husband when did
- 10:26Speaker 5: they start saying that he was your brother why.
- 10:29Speaker 6: I started with the somali blog um uh that i
- 10:35Speaker 6: don't know if it still exists but somebody put in
- 10:37Speaker 6: there that you know that he had to have been
- 10:40Speaker 6: my brother or something to that effect you.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Were not related to him at all There's not some
- 10:45Speaker 5: weird kernel of truth that's here someday in the telephone.
- 10:48Speaker 6: Not to my knowledge.
- 10:51Speaker 1: That's a suspicious answer. You're not related to your husband
- 10:55Speaker 1: in any way. You say, no, of course not. No,
- 10:59Speaker 1: of course not. She said, not to my knowledge. That's
- 11:03Speaker 1: a kind of a weird answer. As the great Jimmy
- 11:06Speaker 1: Fallon said, a lot of people meet their husband online,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but she used Ancestry.com, so Uh, not to my knowledge.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So then in the rest of the interview, uh, she
- 11:18Speaker 1: goes on to say how she's just a working class person.
- 11:20Speaker 1: She lives paycheck to paycheck. Uh, now the problem is
- 11:25Speaker 1: on the financial disclosure form where you have to put
- 11:28Speaker 1: your net worth. This is under oath. You can't lie. Uh,
- 11:31Speaker 1: she put down that she and her husband were worth
- 11:33Speaker 1: 30 million bucks. Uh, she's revised that now to say
- 11:37Speaker 1: they're worth, uh, like $ 10, 000. They, I, they're completely changing
- 11:41Speaker 1: their story. if they were worth 30 million, and the
- 11:45Speaker 1: government will find this. I don't care where you hide it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: The government will find your money. It might be that she,
- 11:51Speaker 1: who knows, maybe it came from some kind of fraud,
- 11:53Speaker 1: some holly fraud. They claim they had a winery, a vineyard.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Nobody ever saw any wine from there. But she's trying
- 12:01Speaker 1: to claim poverty now. She says, I have a Toyota
- 12:04Speaker 1: Camry that's from 2016. It's our only car. I rent
- 12:08Speaker 1: my DC place and my Minneapolis place. Yeah, I don't know. Very, very,
- 12:14Speaker 1: very suspicious interview. So look for her to get at
- 12:18Speaker 1: least deported, maybe in jail, definitely removed from Congress. It
- 12:22Speaker 1: should happen. Hey, the good news about Mamdani, President Trump
- 12:28Speaker 1: met with him the first time in the White House.
- 12:30Speaker 1: He had a long meeting with him. And the president,
- 12:33Speaker 1: President Trump, I've seen this for many years. He's really
- 12:35Speaker 1: good at reading people. I mean, he can look at
- 12:38Speaker 1: somebody and just see everything like almost instantly. It's one
- 12:43Speaker 1: of the secrets of him negotiating. And people have negotiated
- 12:47Speaker 1: with him. I've told me that there's a video on YouTube.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You can see it's Barbara Corcoran who worked with him
- 12:53Speaker 1: on huge real estate deals. She said it was amazing.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They could go into a room, total stranger. He could
- 12:57Speaker 1: look at the guy and see immediately what his weaknesses were,
- 13:02Speaker 1: what his ego was, what he really wanted. what would motivate.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He could just see everything. It's like radar, sonar. He
- 13:10Speaker 1: can really read a person. So the one thing, after
- 13:13Speaker 1: he met with Mom Donnie, and it was a friendly,
- 13:14Speaker 1: he came out, the one thing he said privately to everybody,
- 13:18Speaker 1: he said, this guy's a coward. He's not brave. He's lazy.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He doesn't work too hard. You probably don't have to
- 13:25Speaker 1: worry too much. For all his awful ideas and terrible things,
- 13:30Speaker 1: he's not a guy who gets anything done. He's not
- 13:32Speaker 1: a guy who works on anything, takes anything. He said
- 13:35Speaker 1: this Way back when, like nine months ago. Well, Mamdani
- 13:42Speaker 1: has been the mayor for 10 months. It looks like
- 13:44Speaker 1: Trump was right because people are now looking at this
- 13:46Speaker 1: 10 months in city hall and he's done absolutely nothing.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You know, he's only signed one law in 10 months.
- 13:53Speaker 1: That's unheard of. One law in 10 months. He's gotten
- 13:57Speaker 1: absolutely nothing done. Oh, he sure talks a lot and
- 14:00Speaker 1: posts a lot of videos, but he never actually takes
- 14:03Speaker 1: any steps to actually do anything. And people are studying
- 14:09Speaker 1: the situation there in City Hall, saying one of the
- 14:11Speaker 1: reasons he gets nothing done, he, the staff, they're obsessed
- 14:14Speaker 1: with only one thing, and that's becoming a content farm. Content.
- 14:19Speaker 1: In other words, producing TikTok videos, Instagram videos. That's the
- 14:22Speaker 1: only thing they do all day. That's what they do. Remember,
- 14:25Speaker 1: this is a kid. He's never had a job, never
- 14:27Speaker 1: worked ever, never had a job anywhere, doing anything. So he,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you know, doesn't know how to work, doesn't know how
- 14:34Speaker 1: to be in an office, doesn't know how to. do
- 14:36Speaker 1: anything nine to five. So that's all he knows how
- 14:41Speaker 1: to do. Like a lot of these out of work
- 14:42Speaker 1: kids that live in their parents' basement, that's all he
- 14:45Speaker 1: knows how to do. Content, videos, TikTok, Instagram. So that's
- 14:49Speaker 1: all he's done in office, which is fine. That's great.
- 14:52Speaker 1: If he wants to spend the rest of the three
- 14:54Speaker 1: years just creating content and doing TikTok, Instagram, do it.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Go ahead, do it and make your crazy speeches and
- 15:01Speaker 1: don't bother anybody. So when I say he only signed
- 15:05Speaker 1: one Law. One bill. He only did one thing in
- 15:08Speaker 1: the 10 months. And that was a little thing. It
- 15:10Speaker 1: was a bill allowing year-round outdoor dining. And that's probably
- 15:16Speaker 1: because everybody on the staff wanted to have outdoor dining.
- 15:21Speaker 1: They wanted to eat outside. So that's the only thing
- 15:23Speaker 1: he's gotten done in 10 months. That's it. We'll get
- 15:28Speaker 1: back to Mamdani. We'll get to him and the other
- 15:31Speaker 1: crazy anti-Semite, Brad Lander. And all of that. And we'll
- 15:35Speaker 1: get to the NFL is supposed to play a game
- 15:37Speaker 1: in France in the middle of all that rioting. We'll
- 15:40Speaker 1: get to that coming up and a whole lot more.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Mark Simone here. Now three hours every day. Three hours
- 15:45Speaker 1: every day. Nine to noon on 710WOR.
