Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: You ever see a shadow out of the corner of your eye?
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Have you ever had that feeling that something, someone, is watching you?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Do you ask yourself why these spirits are here?
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: What do they want?
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Are they lost?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Are they trapped?
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I'm Ryan and I run a paranormal group called Nuclear Soul Seekers.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: You're listening to Trap Souls.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Alright, you're listening to Trapped Souls.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: It's another episode of Dead Space.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: This will be called a sensitive subject.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be talking about MPAS, sensitives, mediums, and psychics.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: So my first solo episode I put out there last week wasn't that great in my opinion, but I decided to throw it out there anyways.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: It was scripted, I wrote it all down, and that's just not me.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: So today we're gonna go a little off script, a little help with some Kentucky spirits here, and we'll see how it goes.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: What I do as solo podcasts is just my beliefs, not my group's beliefs, and my beliefs alone.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Now as a group we always do these investigations, and everybody has their little quirks, you know, being sensitive, being whatever.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Mine is I always say what's on my mind.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Not always because it gets me in trouble, but majority of the time I'll say what's on my mind.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: If you're doing a great job, I'll tell you you're doing a great job.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: If you're acting like an idiot, I'll call you an idiot.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: And that's what's we're gonna come to my first story here.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: A little off, not on sensitives or mediums, but I gotta make the podcast a little longer, so I'm gonna tell you when I got into the paranormal field 15, 20 years ago.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Um my buddy and I went down to Mancefield.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: It was a Christmas present for my mom, she gave me two tickets for Christmas, said, Hey, I don't want to go take a friend, so I took my buddy Matt down there with me.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: You know, three, three and a half hour drive, get down there.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Of course, got the Jeep top off, it's like 45 degrees freezing, but that's besides the point.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: So when we get down there, you know, I'm like every other, you know, paranormal investigator trying to get into it.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You know, you watch TV shows, you watch Ghost Hunters, you watch Ghost Adventures, the old Ghost Adventures, not where that guy gets possessed every single episode now.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, you guys know what I'm talking about there.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: You know, I go down there, I got I got a recorder and a flashlight.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: That's it, and my cell phone.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: You know, it's 20 years ago, like five megapixel cell phone.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't great.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: You know, I want to go out there and try to be one of these guys, get my own TUE show.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: So we get there, we meet up with our guide, just like any big place you go to, Trans, Allegheny, Mansfield.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: You know, they'll take you around, tell you the hot spots, tell you the stories.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you what, Mansfield historically is a beautiful place, great stories.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Architecture obviously is unbelievable for its time period.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: So we're just going around talking about everything.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: The guy did mention a couple things about rules.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: First rule, try not to be where someone else is at.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: You know, if someone's doing an investigation, try to go somewhere else, just come back to that.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Simple rule.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Next rule.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna be using a flashlight, put it in a down position so you're not ruining people's night vision.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: This story always took me back to what my grandfather told me when I was young.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: It's always good to learn from your mistakes, but it's better to learn from other people.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And this is where I got started like getting into more paranormal stuff and watching other people of what they do.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: And you know, everybody does it in life.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: You look at other people like, oh, that's a smart idea, I'll do that, or that's a dumb idea, I'll never do that.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Like, we're not gonna ever, we're not always gonna get possessed, every investigation we go to.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So Matt and I got done with the guide and decided, hey, we'll just go up on the cell block and do some investigations.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I wanted to go go to the cell where suppose a guy lit himself on fire and killed himself with paint thinner or paint.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Um, the guy wasn't really sure if that was even a true story, but yeah, whatever, we'll go up there anyways to try it out.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So we're up there, I think it's on that third or fourth floor of the cell block.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: We're walking around, did an investigation there, took some pictures, walked out, walking down to the corner, and you hear people and see people walking.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And they have a light on, you know, but it's not terrible because they're around the corner.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: We get about 10 feet from the corner.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: This dude comes around the corner with a 10,000 candle watt, candle power, whatever you want to call it, headlamp on, right into my eyes.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: No, this guy's an idiot, okay.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Like the guy told you straight up, keep your light down.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: So, what gives you the thought of actually putting a headlamp on that you need to see God with?
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Like, it doesn't make sense to me.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: This idiot blinds us and is just like, oh, I'm sorry.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Like, dude, no, you're not, because you're the idiot who did it to begin with, so you're not sorry.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: I probably still see orbs to this day spots.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: That's probably why I don't believe in orbs.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And so I'm seeing stars for the rest of the night because this dude blinded me.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Listen to your guide, have a little common sense when you're doing this investigation, especially when you're going to a bigger place and they got a lot of people.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Now I like to run out places myself, so we don't get that.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: If it is or does happen, it's one of my group members, and I can talk to them like how I want to talk to them.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, that's simple rule.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Just want to put that out there.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Like, you always try to learn from others' people and stakes.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Second of all, the one thing I did learn, everything is not paranormal.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: So, about halfway through Mansfield, we have pizza and drinks for us.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: Matt and I decided to go partake in some pizza and coffee.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: So at this time we go down, sit down at a table, Matt's sitting across from me.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And the people behind Matt were talking and saying, Oh, we got all this stuff happening, all these experiences happening, clear as day.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, that piques my interest, so I'm listening a little closer.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: And it would end up being somewhat comical to me.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: She said they were having a full-flooded conversation when they were in a jail cell.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: The one lady stated that she asked who she was talking to.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's something we always ask, right?
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Who who am I speaking to?
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: That's a good question.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: But the spirit answered, clear as day.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Hey, I'm Steve.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: What is your name?
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And that was clear as day, so clear the whole group heard it.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Like they were just fanatic.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Then she went on to ask.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Oh then she went on and says, Aunt Beth, are you in the cell with us?
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: So Steve the Spirit spoke again.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Who's in the cell with us?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: It was so clear, almost as if it was coming from a cell next to them.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Now could I have been a spirit?
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: I can't really say no.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: I wasn't there.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: But Steve, who we met earlier, was sitting a few people down from us at our table, just started laughing.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: So know your surroundings.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: You just can't be thinking, hey, I I heard someone.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: You know, it could be someone.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: I do it on EVPs all the time.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: Like I hear people down the hallway, and you get the I mean, it's my group, so I recognize the voices, I understand that.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: But you gotta be able to recognize like full-fledged.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Most EVPs are not full sentences.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: You might get one, you know, three or four word sentence EVP rare that you can understand.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: But most of them are like yes, no.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: So that's another thing I learned.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Um, of course, I went in there and said I was new, so I just wanted to be an investigator.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: But listening to these people, it was it was pretty amazing to me.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: How everything is paranormal.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So, one thing I didn't learn on that is I go in not expecting anything.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Every place I go to, I don't expect to get anything.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: That's why I don't do any UG history or research before a new place I go to.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: And when we go, I tell a guy we don't want to walk through.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: The main reason I do that is so it doesn't influence me and my my mind.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: The one thing I do that so it doesn't influence my investigation.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Because if you think you you know there's a lady, you're gonna you might actually start believing a lady in your imagination.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And that's part of our sensitive thing that we'll get into.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: So every investigation I do, I believe I do gain a little bit more knowledge, not necessarily paranormal, but how to investigate.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: I'm not an expert at the paranormal.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: So those were the two lessons I learned.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: My first real investigation.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, I did Madison before that, you know, with my buddy Matt, a couple of friends.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, it was good.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Um got the walk-on dark, we rented out ourselves.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: If you ever get a chance, just rent the place out yourself.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Um, I always can invite a couple other groups.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: You know, every group has their own tactics, every person has their own tactics.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: So it'll be good to get other groups in to see what they do.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Everything works different, and you can say, you know, that's just not for me, or that's a really good idea, or you can put it into your repertoire and use it next time you're doing an investigation.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So this finally brings me to the topic of the podcast.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Like I said, this is just my beliefs, my beliefs only.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: I do not represent the group.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Um, this is my podcast, so I can you know pretty much talk however I want to talk if I'm doing a solo.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: And we're talking about empaths, psychics, mediums.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: And I got some definitions here.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I'll just go over real quick what they say they are.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Empaths, person with paranormal ability, apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: I've seen this, you know, we've all heard about it.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Um, I think people that are like on the border of empath and sensitives, you know, they just call themselves sensitives, but they're really an empath.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So sensitive, highly sensitive people who are highly sensitive, they may have a heightened state awareness of life.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Now, so then there's sensory process sensitivity, more sensitive to the environment and process stimuli, sensory information and emotions more deeply.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: I think that's gonna go in between.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: Uh so I think that's like kind of between sensitive and past.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: But we'll talk about sensitives.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: People who are highly sensitive may have a heightened awareness of life.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Now, a lot of people out there call themselves sensitive.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: Everywhere I go, there's a sensitive.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And let's break this down.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: You know, most sensitives will be like I feel someone in a corner, or I get this weird feeling while walking to the room, my hair stands up, you know, you get that gut feeling.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And we talk about it all the time in other podcasts.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: That that feeling when you walk into a room.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Does that make you a sensitive?
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: It just makes you human.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Everybody I investigate with get that little feeling.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Even if you're not doing investigation, you're at home in the dark, you get that eerie feeling.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Like, uh, or like you don't want to walk down your basement because the light's broke.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: It doesn't make you, I mean, I guess it can make you a sensitive.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Maybe, maybe that is the definition of a sensitive.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So everybody's a freaking sensitive.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Let's be honest.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Are more people more sensitive than others?
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: So call yourself more sensitive.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know what the hell you want to call yourselves.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: But I think sensitives, everybody is a sensitive.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: I've never not met a person that's like, I feel nothing.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Like you have no soul, like, come on, dude.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Like, everybody gets that feeling.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Is something really there?
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can believe.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: So, what goes along with it?
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: You know, imagination.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: You know, that's why I don't do research before a new place I go to.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: The second time I go to a place, I'll do research.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: But the first time I don't want that influence because I've seen way too many people do research, even in my group, know that there's a woman standing in this room or walking down a hall, and they're the first person that sees us.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Could it be there?
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: It could be.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: I can't say yes or no.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: But it's kind of odd that you're the only person that knows this and you're the only one seeing it.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Our mind is very strong, our imagination is very strong as humans.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's why kids see more spirits or ghosts, or talk to spirits or ghosts, because they have a bigger imagination.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Or is it that there's actually more sensitive and you know the imaginary friend, maybe the imaginary friend is actually a spirit talking to them.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: I mean squares need friends too.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: I I don't know.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: But I don't think you can go around calling yourself a freaking sensitive because everybody has it.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Everybody has that feeling, has that emotion.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: So I mean, that's I mean that's my thought out of it.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: I know a lot of people are gonna disagree, especially the sensitives.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, you could be more sensitive than the person next to you.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: But when I go on investigation, and I took a couple new people, you know, I walked into this room and felt this eerie feeling, like something was in there dark.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: I walk out and tell that person to go in, and they felt the same thing.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: But I'll also go into a room that I feel nothing, and tell that same person, like 30 minutes later, to go in there to see if they're just their imagination's going, and they'll walk in there and like I feel nothing.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, so maybe something that was actually in that first room.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: So then we'll go back and investigate that room.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: But if I tell someone like, hey, like there's something dark in here, and they walk in and like, oh my god, there is, but no.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe they're more sensitive and picking up on it, but usually not.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're their heads getting into the game a little too much.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: So when you go into investigation, don't expect to find everything.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: So that that takes us to empaths, sorry, sensitives, but that'll take us to empaths.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Do I believe there are empaths out there?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, but just like everything in life, there's a lot of fake ones out there too.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: So, empaths, person with paranormal ability to apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual or group.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: You know, I talked about this before with my daughter.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: We're in Fairfield.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: You know, she was down in the basement, I believe, and she had a she was with a group of the girls from my group.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: And we went outside, take a little break, it was nice out, and she was telling me that she felt really emotional drained.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: She was just crying, and she was still crying, like tears going down her eyes.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: She had no idea why, she just felt sad.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: So her being a kid, you know, I told her, Maybe you're not possessed.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: You're feeling what those kids felt when they were there.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Sad.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Because I mean it was a poor house.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: They got treated like crap and they were all together, and they're they're they're probably sad.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: So she's just picking up on their feelings.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: They want maybe not on purpose, but they wanted her to feel what they felt.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: It's that energy.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: And she picked up on that, no one else did.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Is she an empath?
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: I I don't know.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: That time she was.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, you had a lot of different emotions going through places, and you're always not gonna say anything because it's odd, it's weird.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: You don't wanna like be a freak.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: But it was a cool experience for her, and you know, I'd explain to her that she's not possessed, she's just you know, picking up on their emotions.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: They were trying to show her by her feel something.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: So I believe there are empaths out there.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Mediums, yes, I do believe there are mediums out there.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Again, probably a lot more fakes than real.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to prove it one way or another.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's been some on TV shows that you know got caught out being fake.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: But just like anything on social media or TV, there's always gonna be your negative person that says that you're fake or you don't see anything or you're stupid.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: You know, if you're a medium and you know you're a medium, sweet.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: If you're a fake, know you're a fake, live with it, I guess.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, you have to live with that yourself.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: I'll go with that.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: Psychics.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Again, a lot of psychics out there.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: You know, you had what Mother Cleo, whatever, down in Jamaica who lived in Georgia, that made millions out of people.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Ended up being a fake, but people want to believe.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: So she made a lot of money on people just wanting to believe.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Um, but there are real ones out there, I believe.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And again, there are a lot of fake ones out there.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: So if you're gonna go psychic readings, tarot card readings, make sure you know you do your research.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: Um, if there's a lot on Facebook, I'm not saying anything about true or false, I don't know them.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: You know, there's a lot of people who will say, Yeah, this person's legit, this person's not.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: So do your research before you want to go get a reading.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Realize it's for fun.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Like, if I'm gonna get a tarakar reading or psychic reading, it's for fun.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Alright, so that's well, that is my feeling on all that subject.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: Empaths, sensitives, psychics, medium.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm hoping to work with a couple in the future.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: We got some plans going next year.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try to get a medium down with us.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: I think it'll be interesting.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm always up for new stuff to try in the paranormal world and see where it goes.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: We are gonna be doing a big trip coming up next year.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Plans are not concrete yet, still going around.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: I want to do it, but I think I want to get some groups out there with us.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Um, we're gonna try to do five.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Five places, five straight nights.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: And I like some of these groups that we follow that are from Ohio or close by the meetings at certain places.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Um, so if you're interested, you know, drop me a message, WhatsApp, or an email.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: I'll let you know where we're going, and maybe we can meet up, you can do a little investigation with us.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Plan doing podcasts while we're there too, and it'll be a good time.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, again, we're out there trying to have fun, but also try to find some answers.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: So, this is another episode of Trap Souls Dead Space.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening.
