- 0:00Speaker 1: You're waking up to Denver's Morning.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Show with Nina and Josh, Mix 100.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Good morning from Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh
- 0:08Speaker 3: on Mix 100.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Josh, we had quite the day yesterday.
- 0:11Speaker 1: It was busy, wasn't it?
- 0:13Speaker 2: I know, it really was. We had a lot of fun.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Though, over there at Zig Zag Burgers in the DTC.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We went there for a big celebration to give away
- 0:22Speaker 3: our final pair of tickets to go see Ella Langley
- 0:25Speaker 3: at Red Rocks last night.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Crazy. And it was wild.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Like, the amount of people that showed up, how fun
- 0:32Speaker 4: it was to meet everybody, talk with everybody as much
- 0:35Speaker 4: as we could, enjoy really, really good food.
- 0:38Speaker 3: It was good.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And then, like.
- 0:39Speaker 4: eventually do the drawing, and it was nerve-wracking, for me
- 0:43Speaker 4: at least, because I was like, there's so many people here,
- 0:44Speaker 4: and to a degree, they're going to be disappointed because
- 0:47Speaker 4: they're not going to win the ticket, and I was like,
- 0:49Speaker 4: oh my goodness, but one person's going to win. It
- 0:52Speaker 4: was so much going on, and it was so much fun,
- 0:55Speaker 4: and honestly, I really want to do it again.
- 0:56Speaker 1: At some point.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I know, seriously.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I mean, I will say, I was a little nervous
- 1:00Speaker 3: about it, and I'm like, oh man, are two people
- 1:02Speaker 3: going to show up? But no, y'all showed up and
- 1:05Speaker 3: showed out. It was so fun.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Um, and it was just so good to meet people
- 1:10Speaker 3: and see familiar faces, see not familiar faces, but like, Oh, Hey,
- 1:15Speaker 3: you've texted in before I've seen, or I've seen your texts.
- 1:18Speaker 3: We've chatted before online. Good to meet you in person finally.
- 1:21Speaker 3: So it was just a really cool event that we
- 1:23Speaker 3: did yesterday. And thank you so much to zigzag burgers
- 1:27Speaker 3: for hosting that event for us and letting us bombard
- 1:30Speaker 3: your space.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Yeah, no, you guys absolutely rocked it. I, I, was
- 1:34Speaker 4: talking with some of the bar staff after everything, after
- 1:36Speaker 4: the fact. And they were like, we walked in at
- 1:39Speaker 4: around 11, you know, and they were like, all of
- 1:42Speaker 4: a sudden this massive rush came and they're like, what
- 1:44Speaker 4: is happening?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Why are people here? What's going on? But they loved it.
- 1:47Speaker 1: They said it was so much fun.
- 1:49Speaker 4: It was cool to see everybody there get excited towards
- 1:52Speaker 4: the end around 1 p.m. when everybody was cheering and
- 1:55Speaker 4: getting ready for the drawing and all that. And it
- 1:58Speaker 4: was just a fun event. And like we even did
- 2:00Speaker 4: arts and crafts like you. You had brought beads for
- 2:03Speaker 4: bracelets and it was so cute to see the little
- 2:06Speaker 4: kids kind of get involved with this.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So they weren't just.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Waiting around, kind of twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the
- 2:11Speaker 4: drawing and stuff, because they don't really care about that.
- 2:13Speaker 1: They don't know.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to the concert, probably.
- 2:15Speaker 1: No, they're the ones getting dragged around to the restaurant.
- 2:18Speaker 4: And so it was just fun to be interactive with
- 2:20Speaker 4: everybody and give away some more prizes, like T-shirts and
- 2:24Speaker 4: sunglasses and stuff. And just to interact with... you guys
- 2:28Speaker 4: who showed up there. Uh, it just got me pumped.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Like it, it really made my day yesterday.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Same here. And thank you so much for showing up.
- 2:35Speaker 3: And once again, for that entire event at zigzag Instagram.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Found out first.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So if you're not following us online, that is sometimes
- 2:44Speaker 3: where we will announce things before anywhere else.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So make sure that you're following us. We're on Facebook.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We're on Instagram. We're even on Tik TOK at mix
- 2:51Speaker 2: 100 Denver.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So Make sure you do that to stay up to date.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So Ella Langley took over Red Rocks yesterday, and I've
- 3:00Speaker 3: seen the videos. I'm so stinking jealous of everyone who
- 3:04Speaker 3: was able to go.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Keep those videos coming. I mean, really, I'm living vicariously
- 3:09Speaker 2: through you.
- 3:10Speaker 1: We both are.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Big Rob got to go, though.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I know.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Okay, okay. All is good in girl world because it
- 3:19Speaker 3: seems like Britney Spears is doing okay right now. So
- 3:21Speaker 3: I just want to put that out there.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Everybody's fine. We're fine.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Everyone's fine. And Britney is fine. So that means we're good.
- 3:28Speaker 3: But yeah, Britney Spears, she spent some time with her
- 3:30Speaker 3: sons at Dollywood in Tennessee. And it's kind of cool
- 3:35Speaker 3: that she was sharing her day with her sons, just
- 3:38Speaker 3: having fun at Dollywood.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever been to Dollywood before, Josh.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I haven't, no.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It truly is a really beautiful place.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So my mom actually retired and lives down in Tennessee,
- 3:48Speaker 3: like 40 minutes away from Dollywood. My mom goes there
- 3:51Speaker 3: multiple times a month. She is at Dollywood all the time.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I love it. Do you just retire when you live
- 3:57Speaker 1: in Tennessee and just go to Dollywood?
- 3:58Speaker 2: And you just go to Dollywood, yes.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's like the adult happiest place on earth.
- 4:02Speaker 3: No, it really is. And they give out this really
- 4:04Speaker 3: good bread every month. It's part of your membership for
- 4:09Speaker 3: the year or whatever. You literally get, you go once
- 4:11Speaker 3: a month and you get these loaves of bread.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Dolly bread. It is.
- 4:15Speaker 3: It's like this honey cinnamon bread. It's so good.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Oh, yum.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Okay, hold on. I'm in on that. I'm in on that.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Now you're excited.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:21Speaker 3: But anyway, Britney Spears, she was sharing her day on
- 4:24Speaker 3: her stories with everyone over there at Dollywood. All smiles,
- 4:27Speaker 3: having fun. Her boys were having fun. Sean Preston and
- 4:31Speaker 3: Jaden James, which we know they mean so much to
- 4:33Speaker 3: Britney Spears. And they haven't always had the best relationship.
- 4:36Speaker 3: But now that the boys are older, they're kind of
- 4:38Speaker 3: more grown up. They're living their own lives. And now
- 4:42Speaker 3: they're kind of repairing that relationship with their mom. And
- 4:45Speaker 3: we love to see that. And it seems like Brittany
- 4:47Speaker 3: is in a good place. And that just makes me happy.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we love a good comeback story. That's awesome. So
- 4:52Speaker 1: hats off to her and her family.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Well, this is kind of a bummer news. Shia LaBeouf
- 4:57Speaker 4: looks like he's going to be getting a divorce. His wife,
- 4:59Speaker 4: Mia Goth, has filed for that divorce recently. citing irreconcilable differences.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And I kind of understand this. TMZ does report that
- 5:07Speaker 4: it follows kind of LaBeouf's wild 2026. Earlier in February
- 5:12Speaker 4: around that time, I believe, he was arrested in New
- 5:15Speaker 4: Orleans just for literally going crazy.
- 5:17Speaker 1: It was like public intoxication charges as well as.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I think he got into a fight.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Kind of yelling horrible things at someone. Yeah. So it
- 5:23Speaker 1: was not good.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Goth is seeking primary and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter.
- 5:29Speaker 1: She requested that the court also.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Terminate his ability to award spousal support to either party.
- 5:35Speaker 4: They actually met on a set of a movie called Nymphomaniac,
- 5:38Speaker 4: which is kind of crazy. Got married in 2016, and
- 5:42Speaker 4: then LaBeouf previously acknowledged the relationships, and he said, I
- 5:45Speaker 4: failed my marriage, so I had to own up with that.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I like Shia LaBeouf, so I'm kind of bummed about this.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I go all the way back to the Even Steven days.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I really liked him. That was kind of my young
- 5:55Speaker 4: childhood show. To Transformers, I loved him in those movies,
- 5:58Speaker 4: so This is a bummer, but it's kind of fitting
- 6:02Speaker 4: and not very surprising to me.
- 6:03Speaker 1: He's been very erratic as of late.
- 6:06Speaker 3: He has. And actually, Shia and Mia, his soon-to-be ex-wife,
- 6:10Speaker 3: they've been separated now for about a year. So the
- 6:13Speaker 3: fact that this divorce isn't necessarily a surprise. It was
- 6:16Speaker 3: just kind of a long time coming. But yeah, like
- 6:19Speaker 3: you said, it is just unfortunate to watch someone spiral.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Especially when that person has essentially been in our lives.
- 6:25Speaker 3: We've seen him on TV since.
- 6:26Speaker 2: We were kids.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Essentially my entire life. So it is a bummer because
- 6:31Speaker 4: I kind of grew up with him, you know. whether
- 6:33Speaker 4: it's on TV shows or movies. So it is a
- 6:35Speaker 4: bummer to see. And hopefully he gets kind of the
- 6:36Speaker 4: help that he needs.
- 6:37Speaker 3: We hope so. We really do hope to see that. Josh,
- 6:39Speaker 3: yesterday at our event, we were over there at Zig
- 6:41Speaker 3: Zag Burgers. And as we were wrapping things up, because
- 6:45Speaker 3: it was a great event, so much fun.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Thank you to everyone who came on by.
- 6:50Speaker 3: As we're wrapping things up, I noticed you kind of
- 6:52Speaker 3: were hanging back a little bit. And as I was leaving,
- 6:57Speaker 3: I go and I look at the bar, and you're
- 6:59Speaker 3: sitting at the bar with a woman.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I am, yes.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And having a drink and laughing and giggling and having
- 7:06Speaker 3: a good time.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not Princess Pilot.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It was not.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Uh-uh. No, and it was a grand old time, I
- 7:14Speaker 4: have to say. No, before she gets mad at me,
- 7:17Speaker 4: Princess Pilot. No, we have a very longtime listener named Rose.
- 7:22Speaker 4: who shows up and she is just the sweetest lady.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I love her.
- 7:26Speaker 4: She and I have had a great friendship over the years,
- 7:29Speaker 4: talking back and forth at different events and even texting
- 7:32Speaker 4: back and forth on the text line.
- 7:34Speaker 1: We take shots at each other. We make jokes. She
- 7:37Speaker 1: is just a delight.
- 7:37Speaker 4: She and I have the same type of humor as well.
- 7:41Speaker 4: And so I know that I can say certain things
- 7:43Speaker 4: and she can jab me back.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And it's just funny. I love her for that. And
- 7:47Speaker 1: I haven't been able to see her for a while.
- 7:48Speaker 4: And so when I found out that she was going
- 7:50Speaker 4: to come down here Um, and, and talk with us
- 7:54Speaker 4: and see us. And she talked with you for a
- 7:55Speaker 4: little bit as well.
- 7:56Speaker 3: It was so good to meet her.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It was just so much fun. I said, Hey, you
- 7:59Speaker 1: know what?
- 7:59Speaker 4: If you stick around, um, I will grab, I'll grab
- 8:03Speaker 4: a drink with you and we can just kind of
- 8:04Speaker 4: catch up. And she was like, absolutely. So she stuck
- 8:06Speaker 4: around until the end of the event. And you're right
- 8:07Speaker 4: at the end of the event, I went over, I
- 8:09Speaker 4: made a beeline to the bar. She had a beer
- 8:11Speaker 4: waiting for me.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It was awesome. It was so great. So shout out
- 8:14Speaker 1: to Rose for that.
- 8:15Speaker 4: But we just caught up and talked and had, I mean,
- 8:18Speaker 4: it seriously lasted for maybe an hour and a half
- 8:20Speaker 4: after the event. And we just kept talking. And then
- 8:24Speaker 4: I knew I had to go home. And she started saying, hey,
- 8:27Speaker 4: let's get some shots. And I was like, okay, hold on.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Oh, no. I was like.
- 8:31Speaker 4: It's 2.30 in the afternoon. I don't know if we
- 8:34Speaker 4: should be doing that right now.
- 8:35Speaker 3: On a Wednesday.
- 8:36Speaker 1: On a Wednesday of all things.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I'm like, you're going to make me go to bed
- 8:39Speaker 4: at 4.30 today and just sleep through the night. But
- 8:42Speaker 4: it's just, yeah, the beautiful thing about the job that
- 8:45Speaker 4: we get to do is we really do get to
- 8:48Speaker 4: connect with other people's lives. I mean, we share so
- 8:50Speaker 4: much of our lives already that when you get to
- 8:53Speaker 4: do these events and you kind of get to learn
- 8:55Speaker 4: about other people's lives and kind of get a view
- 8:58Speaker 4: into who they are as people, you know?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Totally. It's a beautiful thing. The connection. The connection's amazing. Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 4: And I've been able to do that with Rose over
- 9:05Speaker 4: the years now, so it was fantastic to meet up
- 9:08Speaker 4: with her, fantastic to see her, and she's just a riot. Like,
- 9:12Speaker 4: she had me laughing so hard, I almost spit my
- 9:15Speaker 4: drink out, so it was awesome.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I love that.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Wait, so she brought up shots.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Did you guys actually do shots?
- 9:22Speaker 1: We did one.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Oh!
- 9:24Speaker 1: Nina, after the first one, I was like, I gotta
- 9:27Speaker 1: go home.
- 9:27Speaker 3: You're like, okay, we're done.
- 9:28Speaker 4: This is not good. Luckily, I had just eaten, so
- 9:31Speaker 4: I was fine. But yeah, I couldn't get away without
- 9:35Speaker 4: doing one. So we did one, and then I was like, hi, Rose,
- 9:38Speaker 4: I love you, but I gotta go home. Otherwise, we're
- 9:39Speaker 4: gonna end up at like, the middle of Denver at 6.30
- 9:42Speaker 4: and I'm gonna need a ride home.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And I'm gonna be calling Nina and saying, Nina, can
- 9:46Speaker 1: you come get me?
- 9:46Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, imagine.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I can't wait for the day where, you know, you
- 9:51Speaker 3: lose track of time one time. It's a random Tuesday, Wednesday.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You know what, Josh?
- 9:54Speaker 3: You can call me anytime. I've got your back always.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Thank God. I was like, I was about to. I
- 9:58Speaker 1: was like, Nina, come back.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Oh my goodness. No, thank you, Rose. And thank you
- 10:03Speaker 3: to everyone who came out to Zig Zag Burgers yesterday.
- 10:05Speaker 3: We had such a blast giving out those Ella Langley tickets.
- 10:08Speaker 3: We talked about it a little bit earlier, but yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 3: it was so nerve wracking. Being the one to pull
- 10:13Speaker 3: the single slip of paper out of.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You were like shaking.
- 10:16Speaker 3: No, seriously.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh. Because everyone's just very
- 10:19Speaker 2: intensely staring.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I mean, everybody in the building. I mean, you were
- 10:23Speaker 4: on the mic, so you have people's attention. But when
- 10:25Speaker 4: they're looking at you like... Pick my name. Pick my name. Right.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And they're all making sure, like, I'm not cheating or anything.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I have, like, a sheet of paper in my hand beforehand.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Of course.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You know, all of it.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And it was just so nerve-wracking. But we finally did it.
- 10:37Speaker 3: So congratulations to Antoinette, who got to go to the
- 10:39Speaker 3: show yesterday.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Which, by the way, she brought her dog with her yesterday.
- 10:43Speaker 4: It was adorable. Like, it was just so cute. It
- 10:45Speaker 4: was one of, like, the little lap dogs. And so
- 10:47Speaker 4: it was just in her purse. And it was so well-behaved.
- 10:50Speaker 4: First of all, she was such a good little pooch.
- 10:52Speaker 3: For the whole time, except for the end. Except for
- 10:55Speaker 3: the very end, that dog did not.
- 10:58Speaker 1: When she tried to attack me and kill me.
- 11:00Speaker 2: She didn't like you, Josh.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It was so funny.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I was like, man, this dog probably has great taste
- 11:03Speaker 4: in men because she didn't like me. She, all of
- 11:06Speaker 4: a sudden, like, we wanted to get a picture with Antoinette, right?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Obviously we did.
- 11:09Speaker 4: And then she, I'm on the side of the dog,
- 11:13Speaker 4: just starts yapping at me.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I had to switch sides. Yeah. I was like, Nina,
- 11:16Speaker 1: we got to switch sides.
- 11:17Speaker 3: For our photo, we switched sides because the dog was
- 11:19Speaker 3: not feeling you, Josh.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I don't know what I did.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'm so sorry.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm so sad.
- 11:23Speaker 3: You did something, something to that dog.
- 11:25Speaker 2: The dog just didn't have a good vibe about you
- 11:26Speaker 2: for that day.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I love her, so.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Aww.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But you're a good guy, Josh, okay? Don't listen to
- 11:31Speaker 2: the dog.
- 11:31Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Okay, thanks.
- 11:32Speaker 2: We'll get through this together.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Three things you need to know before you go into
- 11:36Speaker 3: the office today. including downtown Littleton. They are next in
- 11:40Speaker 3: line for a little makeover. Of course, they are trying
- 11:44Speaker 3: to make sure that they assure all of the townspeople
- 11:48Speaker 3: that they're going to keep that historic charm of downtown Littleton.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Don't worry, they're not gonna put in a bunch of
- 11:54Speaker 3: square gray buildings, you know the ones, all.
- 11:57Speaker 2: The apartments that have been popping up.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 12:01Speaker 3: So they definitely are trying to keep the historic charm
- 12:05Speaker 3: of downtown Littleton top of mind. So they're trying to
- 12:08Speaker 3: just assure everyone, like, we're not going to ruin it.
- 12:11Speaker 2: We promise. At least they're going to try.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I was like, we'll see. We'll see once everything's built. Yes.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But they did get $ 32. 6 million in funding. That majority
- 12:21Speaker 3: of that is going towards a remodel. So the thing is, though,
- 12:24Speaker 3: we're going to have to wait a little bit because
- 12:26Speaker 3: construction is not set to start until 2028. But until then,
- 12:31Speaker 3: you know, maybe we will see some concepts, some Blueprints,
- 12:35Speaker 3: a couple of the planning, but a big chunk of
- 12:38Speaker 3: that is actually going to be trees because a lot
- 12:41Speaker 3: of the trees in Littleton died because of a disease
- 12:45Speaker 3: that went through, killed off a lot of the trees.
- 12:48Speaker 3: So a big chunk of that funding is actually going
- 12:51Speaker 3: to be to put in trees.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Well, I love that. That's a good use of the
- 12:55Speaker 1: money there.
- 12:55Speaker 2: We need that, honestly.
- 12:57Speaker 3: But they're also going to be putting in more parking,
- 12:59Speaker 3: some safety measures for bikers and walkers, just making it
- 13:02Speaker 3: more pedestrian friendly. So yeah, downtown Littleton in the next
- 13:06Speaker 3: couple of years, going to be getting themselves.
- 13:08Speaker 2: A little makeover.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Well, I, for one, love downtown Littleton. Sometimes I even
- 13:11Speaker 4: prefer it to going out to Denver. It's just like
- 13:14Speaker 4: a smaller Denver, essentially. You can go to the bars
- 13:16Speaker 4: with your friends. You can hit Main Street.
- 13:17Speaker 1: They have good food options.
- 13:18Speaker 2: There's a lot of great spots.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:20Speaker 4: So- Good for them. That makes me excited to go
- 13:22Speaker 4: see in the next couple of years. Well, this is
- 13:24Speaker 4: exciting news for pretty much everybody who does not have
- 13:27Speaker 4: a passport yet. It's about to become much easier to
- 13:30Speaker 4: get it for the first time in 2027. So just
- 13:33Speaker 4: a few months from now, it is going to become
- 13:36Speaker 4: a fully online process for first time users who want
- 13:40Speaker 4: to get their passport. Now, many times when you first
- 13:42Speaker 4: get your passport, you have to have an in-person appointment.
- 13:45Speaker 4: You have to go and get help taking that photo.
- 13:47Speaker 4: It involves a bunch of very inconvenient things, essentially, and
- 13:50Speaker 4: a lot of money. So under the new plan change,
- 13:54Speaker 4: applicants will be able to just go to America.gov and
- 13:57Speaker 4: go through the entire process without having to make any
- 13:59Speaker 4: single trip at all. The online applicants will be allowed
- 14:02Speaker 4: to fill out the required forms, take the passport photo
- 14:05Speaker 4: with your iPhone, essentially, which is so much better, and
- 14:08Speaker 4: then also pay securely online, really expediting this whole process,
- 14:13Speaker 4: making it a lot easier to Luke Ortega of the U.S.
- 14:17Speaker 4: State Department says the big change now is if you
- 14:19Speaker 4: don't have a passport, we just want to make your
- 14:21Speaker 4: life a lot easier.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I love that because the process of getting one is
- 14:25Speaker 1: kind of a pain in the butt.
- 14:26Speaker 3: It's annoying. And like half the time you have to
- 14:28Speaker 3: do it at the post office or somewhere really official. Yep.
- 14:31Speaker 2: And like they don't want to do it either.
- 14:33Speaker 3: You have to schedule out these appointments and then half
- 14:36Speaker 3: the time you're just like waiting around anyway because they
- 14:39Speaker 3: forgot about it or whatever.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Well, it takes months essentially.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah. So hopefully this really makes that quicker.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 3: And I will say, thank goodness they're letting you take
- 14:46Speaker 3: iPhone photos because I hated having to go to like
- 14:52Speaker 3: the pharmacy or the convenience store or whatever one to
- 14:55Speaker 3: take a photo of And like half the time, that
- 14:58Speaker 3: photo is so bad.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you're like, can I just redo it?
- 15:01Speaker 1: And they're like, nope, here you go, ma'am. You're like, okay.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, I paid $ 20 for this.
- 15:06Speaker 1: For the next 10 years of my life, I get
- 15:08Speaker 1: to look like crap.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Right, yes.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So that's good news.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Thank goodness.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yeah, 2027 is when it's going to happen.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Okay, cool.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I wanted
- 15:17Speaker 3: to shine a spotlight on Neidi Lucha Sola. This is
- 15:21Speaker 3: also called No Woman Fights Alone. This is a Denver
- 15:24Speaker 3: nonprofit organization And it's bringing patients and survivors together, uplifting
- 15:29Speaker 3: their spirits with makeovers. So they're hosting an event this
- 15:33Speaker 3: Saturday for women who are going through sicknesses right now.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Volunteers are providing makeup kits, makeovers, and free wigs in
- 15:42Speaker 3: many styles and colors. So whether a woman is dealing
- 15:45Speaker 3: with breast cancer or any type of cancer or any sickness,
- 15:50Speaker 3: they are more than welcome to come and receive a service.
- 15:52Speaker 3: That is going on this Saturday. It starts at 11 a.m.
- 15:56Speaker 3: at the Bruce Schroffel Auditorium at UC Health in Aurora.
- 16:00Speaker 3: So it's something that's just really, really cool, and everything
- 16:02Speaker 3: is free.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's beautiful. That's a beautiful thing that people do.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're going through it, and, you know... chemo
- 16:09Speaker 3: it just takes a lot out of you and if
- 16:10Speaker 3: you are losing your hair for the first time it
- 16:13Speaker 3: can just really affect you in a negative way absolutely
- 16:16Speaker 3: and you may not even realize how much it affects
- 16:18Speaker 3: you until the first time you put on that wig
- 16:21Speaker 3: and you feel like yourself again.
- 16:23Speaker 4: You feel beautiful again you know it's it's you have
- 16:25Speaker 4: your confidence back especially because Losing your hair in any
- 16:28Speaker 4: type of form like that, especially when you're going through
- 16:31Speaker 4: something like that.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. I can't imagine.
- 16:33Speaker 4: And so what they're doing here, especially with all those volunteers,
- 16:36Speaker 4: like God bless those volunteers for doing the Lord's work.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I mean, really, like that is an amazing thing that
- 16:40Speaker 1: they're doing right there. And it being free.
- 16:42Speaker 2: A free service.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Everything free. That's even better. That's amazing. I love it.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Check out No Woman Fights Alone. It's happening this Saturday
- 16:49Speaker 3: in Aurora. Josh, I just mentioned a little while ago
- 16:53Speaker 3: that my husband somehow got looped into creating all of
- 16:56Speaker 3: these work activities for his coworkers.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and I don't know what it is. What are
- 17:01Speaker 1: you talking about here?
- 17:02Speaker 3: So he actually just yesterday, example, Just yesterday, he had
- 17:07Speaker 3: to do this chili festival type thing.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Not a festival, but a chili competition.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Cook-off, yeah. Yeah, exactly.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Everyone bring in their chili recipe, and then that's lunch
- 17:16Speaker 3: for the day for everyone. And he didn't get enough sign-ups,
- 17:19Speaker 3: so he had to make two batches of chili. It
- 17:23Speaker 3: was just the whole thing.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:25Speaker 2: And so it's like things like that.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And over the summer, he did these weekly movie series
- 17:31Speaker 3: where once a week he would put out a poll
- 17:35Speaker 3: and people would vote on which movie they wanted to
- 17:36Speaker 3: watch for the next week. And then he'd buy snacks
- 17:39Speaker 3: and they'd have a movie on for lunchtime and. I mean,
- 17:42Speaker 3: it's all good stuff, but again, I don't know how
- 17:45Speaker 3: my husband got wrapped into this because he is not
- 17:49Speaker 3: an activities kind of person.
- 17:50Speaker 4: I was going to say, I know your husband on
- 17:52Speaker 4: a very limited basis. I don't know him well. What
- 17:55Speaker 4: you just described to me, just knowing the little bit
- 17:58Speaker 4: about him that I do, that does not seem like
- 18:01Speaker 4: something he'd be like, okay, I'm so excited to.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Be director of movies and what we're doing.
- 18:05Speaker 3: No.
- 18:05Speaker 1: No, instead he's like, ugh, I hate this.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I have so many other things to do at work.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Why am I the one who has to do this?
- 18:13Speaker 4: That's probably why they put him in charge. I guarantee
- 18:15Speaker 4: you the co-workers are getting a chuckle out of this.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They just want to see him suffer. Because they probably
- 18:18Speaker 1: know him, and they're like, we know he's going to
- 18:20Speaker 1: hate this for a whole summer.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Right, right, exactly. Meanwhile, he's telling me about all these things,
- 18:26Speaker 3: and then I'm excited. I was like, ooh, if you
- 18:29Speaker 3: do a movie, look up the foods in the movie,
- 18:32Speaker 3: and then you can create those as the snacks.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I was like, I'll make you little signs.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I'll help you like decorate the snacks. What?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Hold on. I have never once thought of that.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Yeah. Watch what they have in the movie for snacks
- 18:45Speaker 4: and like. co-create something to go along with that.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yes, Josh.
- 18:49Speaker 3: They do whole events on that.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Did you know?
- 18:51Speaker 1: No, I didn't. I'm also a guy. Hold on.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you are.
- 18:55Speaker 3: No, they have events where you watch Ratatouille and then
- 18:58Speaker 3: they come out and they serve the different dishes during
- 19:01Speaker 3: the different parts of the movie and you eat.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Along with it.
- 19:02Speaker 4: That's the coolest thing I've ever heard.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah. That's the coolest. I've never once put any thought
- 19:06Speaker 1: into that at all. Oh, Josh. No, I just buy
- 19:08Speaker 1: the popcorn and the soda.
- 19:09Speaker 3: You know what? That's a good future date night for
- 19:12Speaker 3: you and Princess Pilot is find one of those events
- 19:14Speaker 3: because they're so fun.
- 19:15Speaker 4: I would love to do that. I wish I thought
- 19:18Speaker 4: like you. I really do. That is crazy.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Well, I'll help you out, okay?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yes, I will help you out. But now my husband
- 19:26Speaker 3: has to come up with all of these. They want
- 19:28Speaker 3: to do the week of Halloween. They want a different
- 19:30Speaker 3: Halloween movie every single day, and he's already dreading it.
- 19:35Speaker 3: And on top of that, I'm also like, well, there's
- 19:37Speaker 3: so many Halloween movies out there.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It shouldn't be that hard.
- 19:39Speaker 3: But at the same time, a lot of the scary
- 19:43Speaker 3: stuff Halloween movies are so inappropriate for work.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Oh, yes, absolutely. Which is especially like even the old thrillers.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Like I would think of like Scream or, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 4: the old Halloween ones or whatever.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Like Those ones, like.
- 19:57Speaker 2: There's a lot of nudity.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Random nudity. Yeah. Like, they just threw it in there,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and I was like, that doesn't fit at all. Why
- 20:02Speaker 1: are you naked?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 20:04Speaker 1: It makes zero sense to the plot. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You're right. It's not for the plot.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right. There's not a lot of work-friendly, like,
- 20:11Speaker 4: scary movies. I don't want to say horror movies, but
- 20:13Speaker 4: scary movies.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Yeah, and so I started naming off all these kind of, like,
- 20:16Speaker 3: Disney movies.
- 20:17Speaker 2: That was, like, Nightmare Before Christmas. Coraline is a good one.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It's a creepy movie.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 2: There's Monster House. There's all sorts of, like, animated movies.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:25Speaker 3: But again, my husband, he's like, nah, we're adults. I
- 20:28Speaker 3: don't want to put in cartoons every day. Every once
- 20:31Speaker 3: in a while, sure. But I was like, I don't
- 20:34Speaker 3: really know what Halloween movies that he could do. I'm
- 20:37Speaker 3: going to have to Google it and really figure it
- 20:39Speaker 3: out because it still needs to be work appropriate.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, Halloween Town, Hocus Pocus is the goat.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I mean, there's a bunch of those.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Casper.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I can't believe I didn't think of that.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Beetlejuice.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Ooh.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm just raffling off my top head right now.
- 20:51Speaker 4: You are.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I need to start writing these down. We'll help them out.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Last night, Ella Langley, she took over Red Rocks, and
- 20:59Speaker 3: you can tell that she was just having some fun
- 21:01Speaker 3: on that stage. And I really liked how she set
- 21:04Speaker 3: it up. The thing about Red Rocks is it is
- 21:06Speaker 3: an outdoor amphitheater, and sometimes the set does need to
- 21:10Speaker 3: change whenever these big tours have their concerts there. Because
- 21:15Speaker 3: they're used to huge stadiums. They're getting to build out
- 21:18Speaker 3: their stage.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, you're right. I didn't think of that.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and even like the Hilary Duff show that we
- 21:22Speaker 3: went to over the summer, she didn't do, she usually
- 21:25Speaker 3: throws out these big inflatable balls that the crowd just
- 21:28Speaker 3: like bops around. Well, she didn't have those because it
- 21:31Speaker 3: is open air and they were worried about them flying away.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Blowing away. Yeah, their beach ball. They got to pay
- 21:36Speaker 1: for more beach balls. Yeah, exactly.
- 21:38Speaker 3: And Ella Langley, she really does it up on her set.
- 21:41Speaker 3: And she was able to do some of it. She
- 21:43Speaker 3: had a lot of greenery up on the stage. She
- 21:45Speaker 3: had her lights going and everything like that. But the
- 21:47Speaker 3: cool thing about Red Rocks is that you can shine
- 21:50Speaker 3: these custom lights.
- 21:52Speaker 2: On the rocks.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:53Speaker 3: And she had her dandelion up on the rocks and
- 21:56Speaker 3: it looked really, really cool. So I know that everyone
- 21:58Speaker 3: had a great time. And if you want to see
- 22:02Speaker 3: some of the show. Big Rob did go over to the,
- 22:04Speaker 3: at the show last night and he posted up on
- 22:07Speaker 3: our Instagram stories and our Facebook stories. So you can
- 22:09Speaker 3: go and check those out and you can live vicariously
- 22:12Speaker 3: through Big Rob because we're doing it too.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Lord knows we did. Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Go check it out at Mix 100 Denver.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Well, and I think one of the cool things about
- 22:20Speaker 4: that too quickly on Red Rocks is you don't need
- 22:22Speaker 4: to do up a stage.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Red Rocks is the stage.
- 22:25Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
- 22:26Speaker 4: It's just like, She could literally stand up there and
- 22:28Speaker 4: just sing her songs with her band and not need
- 22:30Speaker 4: anything else. And it would be fine.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The views there, it's so funny.
- 22:35Speaker 4: I've been there a hundred times, and it's just one
- 22:38Speaker 4: of those things that every time I go, I find
- 22:40Speaker 4: something new that I'm like, I didn't see that before,
- 22:42Speaker 4: and I just love it. The venue's incredible, and I'm
- 22:45Speaker 4: sure she was in awe. of being able to perform
- 22:47Speaker 4: there for the first time.
- 22:49Speaker 3: How could you not be?
- 22:49Speaker 1: It's so cool.
- 22:50Speaker 3: So I love that.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Well, this is some new news, and it makes a
- 22:53Speaker 4: heck of a lot of sense about Sydney Sweeney. So obviously, Nina,
- 22:56Speaker 4: you know I love talking about her.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Yes.
- 22:59Speaker 4: And we just found out, I think she just found out,
- 23:02Speaker 4: that she is distantly related to... to another massive celebrity.
- 23:07Speaker 4: And it's funny, they say, you know, in the story,
- 23:09Speaker 4: you'll never guess who it is. It makes a lot
- 23:12Speaker 4: of sense. She is now ninth cousins with Marilyn Monroe.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And it just fits so perfectly.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Marilyn Monroe is like the first centerfold lady of promiscuity,
- 23:25Speaker 4: you know, where she's just like, we know what she
- 23:27Speaker 4: did with, the president at the time. You just know
- 23:30Speaker 4: she was just, happy birthday. She's just the lady that
- 23:35Speaker 4: is like, you kind of see Sidney Sweeney as the
- 23:37Speaker 4: reincarnation of her a little bit. Sidney uses her sexuality
- 23:43Speaker 4: a lot in her movies and in the way she
- 23:45Speaker 4: sells products. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's just
- 23:48Speaker 4: kind of fitting that she is like, hey, you know what?
- 23:50Speaker 4: I'm actually related to Marilyn Monroe now. So the genealogy website, myheritage.com,
- 23:55Speaker 4: did determine that they are ninth cousins through a shared
- 23:58Speaker 4: ancestor named Ezra Perry, who, by the way, they just
- 24:00Speaker 4: throw this in there because I think the name is hilarious,
- 24:03Speaker 4: who lived in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Oh, I think I know someone from Sandwich, Massachusetts.
- 24:07Speaker 4: From Sandwich, Massachusetts? Bro, I just found out about this
- 24:11Speaker 4: place like two seconds ago.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I do.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I know someone from there.
- 24:13Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I want to live in Sandwich. That sounds so cool. Well, anyway,
- 24:17Speaker 4: the website says, hey, uncovering their shared branch was incredible.
- 24:20Speaker 4: It's a very powerful reminder that humanity is one vast
- 24:23Speaker 4: community family tree and as we dig it up we
- 24:26Speaker 4: uncover how remarkably uh interconnected we all are and i
- 24:29Speaker 4: do think that's true i think that's really cool you
- 24:30Speaker 4: know they say if you know um eight people you
- 24:33Speaker 4: know a million people on earth and stuff like that
- 24:35Speaker 4: so sure it's just a cool thing to show how
- 24:37Speaker 4: truly uh interconnected we are and then it also just
- 24:40Speaker 4: makes perfect sense that she is somehow related.
- 24:42Speaker 2: To of course she is and sydney.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I know you're listening i love you okay we're good
- 24:47Speaker 1: That's all. That's all. All right.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And actor Joe Mangiello was married to Sofia Vergara back
- 24:53Speaker 3: in the day. And he wrote a book, this memoir.
- 24:56Speaker 3: And he shared not a great story about her. He
- 24:58Speaker 3: said that he had this mystery autoimmune disease, which actually
- 25:02Speaker 3: required part of his intestine to be taken out.
- 25:04Speaker 1: He got really sick.
- 25:05Speaker 2: He was really, really sick. Nearly died there for a moment.
- 25:10Speaker 3: And so he said that his ex-wife, Sofia Vergara, was
- 25:14Speaker 3: not supportive. while he was sick at all. Granted, they
- 25:18Speaker 3: were going through some marital problems, but she was not there.
- 25:22Speaker 3: For someone who was nearly on their death bag, he
- 25:25Speaker 3: would beg for hugs and physical touch, because he just
- 25:28Speaker 3: needed it, and she refused. She wouldn't even give the
- 25:31Speaker 3: guy a hug.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And then I guess she.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Mocked him when he adopted this five-pound chihuahua named Bubbles,
- 25:38Speaker 3: by the way, which is cute.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Why?
- 25:41Speaker 2: She mocked him for being a man having a chihuahua,
- 25:44Speaker 2: I guess.
- 25:46Speaker 3: But actually this chihuahua.
- 25:46Speaker 1: You know what? I'm actually kind of on her. I'm
- 25:48Speaker 1: kind of on her side.
- 25:50Speaker 3: It was an emotional support dog, okay?
- 25:53Speaker 1: He's a big guy.
- 25:54Speaker 3: He is.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Small dog.
- 25:56Speaker 3: There's something about a big guy carrying around a small dog, though.
- 25:59Speaker 3: It's cute.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Shh.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:02Speaker 3: For some reason, it just like, it screams sensitive.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Okay, Josh. Anyway, three things you need to know before
- 26:12Speaker 3: you go into the office today. Like the latest trend
- 26:15Speaker 3: on TikTok is going on your Amazon account. You click
- 26:19Speaker 3: the About You page and you read what Amazon has
- 26:23Speaker 3: assumed about you based on your purchases. And people are
- 26:27Speaker 3: finding some crazy things pop up from Amazon, and they're
- 26:32Speaker 3: posting it up on TikTok. One I saw this morning said,
- 26:36Speaker 3: it said a woman has a bad dad.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I was like, oh, okay.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Jeez.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Just airing out the daddy issues right there.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Another woman posted hers, and Amazon wrote that she had
- 26:47Speaker 3: flat buttocks. Oh.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Hello.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So these are going viral.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's the latest trend right now to just go on
- 26:55Speaker 3: your Amazon account, click the About You page, and just
- 26:58Speaker 3: see what it says about you. So Josh, I challenge
- 27:00Speaker 3: you to check out yours. Do you have an Amazon account, right?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Of course I do.
- 27:06Speaker 4: I'm a person. Yeah, I'm kind of going over it
- 27:10Speaker 4: right now. It is very interesting.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Isn't it crazy how much it tracks you?
- 27:15Speaker 4: It's kind of scary. It's guessed the city I live in. Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 4: It says, hey, past you had home organizing focus.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I did. I shop in the men's departments. Yes.
- 27:27Speaker 4: I create audio or video content. This is so creepy.
- 27:32Speaker 3: It's so creepy on how much it picks up just
- 27:34Speaker 3: based on those purchases and then it assumes stuff about you.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Calls out the brand of home security that I bought.
- 27:42Speaker 3: There you go. I'm looking at mine and here's the
- 27:45Speaker 3: thing is I don't really use Amazon a whole lot.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I'm that person. But my husband does, and so.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I have his account pulled up.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Has two adults, likely has a pool. We do not
- 27:57Speaker 3: have a pool. I wish.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Next time.
- 27:59Speaker 2: But we do have a.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Hot tub, so it almost got that one. But the
- 28:04Speaker 3: one that I think is hilarious, my husband is very
- 28:06Speaker 3: type A, and they wrote, consistently repurchases organizational solutions.
- 28:12Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, that's my husband right there.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Right there, yep.
- 28:16Speaker 3: So you can check out your Amazon account. You just
- 28:19Speaker 3: click the About You page in these settings and read
- 28:21Speaker 3: what Amazon has assumed on you.
- 28:23Speaker 2: So that's the latest trend right now, and I love it.
- 28:25Speaker 1: It's kind of creepy.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah, very, very creepy.
- 28:28Speaker 4: All right, well, this is some exciting news. Dancing with
- 28:30Speaker 4: the Stars, I know that is a major show. They
- 28:34Speaker 4: are creating a Dancing with the Stars live tour. And
- 28:37Speaker 4: it hits the road in 2027. There is a 60-stop
- 28:40Speaker 4: North American tour starting January 21st in 2027. And it
- 28:47Speaker 4: gets even better. They are making a stop at Ball
- 28:50Speaker 4: Arena on Friday, March 19th in 2027.
- 28:52Speaker 1: They are going to be.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Going to Colorado and dancing their little feet off. And
- 28:57Speaker 4: I think that is something that maybe I'd even want
- 29:00Speaker 4: to watch. I'm not like the biggest Dancing with the
- 29:02Speaker 4: Stars fan. I obviously know what it is. It's been
- 29:04Speaker 4: going on forever. But depending on who is performing this year,
- 29:08Speaker 4: I think that'd be really cool to watch live, right?
- 29:10Speaker 2: It is really cool.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Actually, my mom went to one of these shows just
- 29:13Speaker 3: a couple of years ago and she said it was
- 29:15Speaker 3: awesome because they pick out, you know, the favorite songs
- 29:18Speaker 3: that everyone loves, that you know and love.
- 29:20Speaker 2: So you can sing along to that. as well as
- 29:22Speaker 2: the entertainment.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I mean they're doing these amazing dance moves on the
- 29:26Speaker 3: dance floor in front of you so it is very
- 29:28Speaker 3: cool and I love that it will be here at Ballerina.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I'm a little jealous. I wish they did this I
- 29:32Speaker 4: think last year or two years ago I can't remember.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm a huge Steve Irwin fan and his son, Robert Irwin.
- 29:38Speaker 4: I know Bindi was on it years ago, but Robert
- 29:40Speaker 4: Irwin is the reincarnation of Steve Irwin.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I love him.
- 29:44Speaker 4: He's just a joy to watch. That man is so
- 29:47Speaker 4: full of happiness and joy. It would have been really
- 29:49Speaker 4: cool to watch him, but I think this will be
- 29:51Speaker 4: a really cool event.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Again, it's coming March 19th.
- 29:54Speaker 4: That's a Friday, by the way, so you can take
- 29:56Speaker 4: the day off of work and then go Watch some
- 29:59Speaker 4: professional dancing.
- 30:00Speaker 2: There you go.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Love that. And in the world of disclaimers, one more
- 30:04Speaker 3: has been added to the list. To everyone's favorite Halloween candy,
- 30:08Speaker 3: Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins. The package now says, carving not
- 30:14Speaker 3: on actual product. Oh, you're right. Because, yeah, they have
- 30:19Speaker 3: the chocolate just printed on the label, right? Yeah.
- 30:22Speaker 2: But it has, like, a jack-o'-lantern on it.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 30:24Speaker 3: But when you open up the chocolate, it's not actually
- 30:27Speaker 3: a jack-o'-lantern. It's just pumpkin-shaped.
- 30:29Speaker 2: So my question is, like... Is that disclaimer necessary?
- 30:34Speaker 4: Oh, I'm sure someone tried to sue them. Yeah, I'm
- 30:36Speaker 4: sure someone tried to sue them to make a quick
- 30:38Speaker 4: buck from Reese's, of all people.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Exactly. One of the greatest candies ever invented.
- 30:42Speaker 3: That's what I hate about it. Why would you try
- 30:44Speaker 3: to piss them off?
- 30:44Speaker 1: I know.
- 30:45Speaker 3: It's the best candy ever. Leave them alone.
- 30:48Speaker 4: They're doing good. They're doing the Lord's work out there,
- 30:50Speaker 4: and you're trying to make them upset by saying it's
- 30:52Speaker 4: not good. shaped like a pumpkin or there's no jack-o-lantern.
- 30:54Speaker 3: That and them having to redo the packaging, it's costing
- 30:58Speaker 3: the company money.
- 30:59Speaker 2: And then at the end of the day, we're getting
- 31:00Speaker 2: smaller chocolate pieces.
- 31:01Speaker 3: So stop.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Please. I hate you.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Stop it.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I hate that person.
- 31:06Speaker 3: There are rumors going around about who the Super Bowl
- 31:10Speaker 3: halftime performer is going to be. And the biggest rumor
- 31:13Speaker 3: that I've seen so far is actually Miley Cyrus.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Which- would kind of make sense, right?
- 31:19Speaker 4: I mean, I know she did just release an album
- 31:20Speaker 4: that did debut at number one, which is awesome, good
- 31:22Speaker 4: news for her. But she's also in the span of
- 31:25Speaker 4: her life where She has like the iconic hits already.
- 31:28Speaker 3: So many hits.
- 31:29Speaker 4: But she's still doing a bunch of new stuff too.
- 31:31Speaker 4: And that's kind of like what they like, you know,
- 31:33Speaker 4: that type.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Of artist, right?
- 31:34Speaker 3: Mix it up a little bit.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Other rumors are Justin Bieber and oh gosh, there was
- 31:39Speaker 3: another one. I can't remember. But all the rumors swirling
- 31:42Speaker 3: around about who Super Bowl halftime show performer will be,
- 31:45Speaker 3: you know, we just won't find out until we find out.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Which I don't like. It's usually at the beginning of
- 31:49Speaker 4: the season.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so hopefully soon.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I think that's why all these rumors are going around
- 31:54Speaker 3: right now because we'll probably get an announcement soon.
- 31:57Speaker 4: I'm hoping it's the Biebs. I do like him. I've
- 32:00Speaker 4: been following his career since I was also very little.
- 32:03Speaker 4: My older sister was obsessed, so I kind of just
- 32:06Speaker 4: was forced to be obsessed, but I like him.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I think he's a good dude. I like his music.
- 32:09Speaker 1: But Miley Cyrus would be really cool. She has such
- 32:11Speaker 1: a range. That's a thing. It's very impressive.
- 32:14Speaker 4: But there's some more news coming out about the Super
- 32:17Speaker 4: Bowl that I'm actually really intrigued by this. Disney Plus,
- 32:21Speaker 4: obviously they own ESPN and everything like that. So, They
- 32:25Speaker 4: will be streaming the Super Bowl this year, coming up
- 32:28Speaker 4: in 2027, which is, oddly enough, on Valentine's Day. They're
- 32:31Speaker 4: making a major expansion of live events on their streaming platform.
- 32:35Speaker 4: The game will also obviously be simulcast on both ABC
- 32:39Speaker 4: in English and Spanish on ESPN. ESPN's first ever time
- 32:44Speaker 4: giving a Super Bowl broadcast as well. They also announced
- 32:46Speaker 4: that a couple more Monday Night Football games are going
- 32:48Speaker 4: to be on there as well as they're gearing up
- 32:49Speaker 4: for this.
- 32:50Speaker 1: They're doing so much streaming online. I'm excited for this.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I think Disney does a very good job with the
- 32:57Speaker 4: way they broadcast things. I know they've already done some
- 32:59Speaker 4: other live broadcasts, but I think that's just the way
- 33:03Speaker 4: the world is going.
- 33:04Speaker 1: It's going in a streaming way.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I know.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Which, pros and cons to that.
- 33:08Speaker 1: There are.
- 33:09Speaker 3: I don't know. At the same time, it's like, okay,
- 33:11Speaker 3: we're paying as much as we did for cable back
- 33:12Speaker 3: in the day, and that's why we all cut the
- 33:14Speaker 3: cord or whatever before.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 33:16Speaker 3: And yet, here we are paying the same amount, maybe
- 33:19Speaker 3: even more, for all these different apps.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Probably more at this point, to be honest.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, with inflation and everything, and they keep raising
- 33:25Speaker 3: the prices. But I do think it is cool that
- 33:26Speaker 3: Disney Plus is going to be streaming the Super Bowl,
- 33:29Speaker 3: which reminds me, Josh, of why I have been banned
- 33:33Speaker 3: from all of my friends for ever throwing a Super
- 33:35Speaker 3: Bowl party again.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you tease this, and I have no idea why
- 33:40Speaker 4: you were, so I have to figure this out.
- 33:42Speaker 1: What the heck happened?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Okay, so what happened was, It was one month before
- 33:48Speaker 3: the world shut down for COVID, February 2020 for that
- 33:52Speaker 3: Super Bowl there. It was when Shakira and J-Lo were
- 33:54Speaker 3: performing at the halftime show. I was all excited about it.
- 33:57Speaker 3: I know. I was like my Latinas, let's go.
- 34:00Speaker 2: So I was excited about it.
- 34:02Speaker 3: And I was like, I want to host a Super
- 34:03Speaker 3: Bowl party for everyone. So for some coworkers, for some friends,
- 34:07Speaker 3: invited everyone over. I was excited and I built up
- 34:10Speaker 3: a snack stadium that you see online. Oh, that's sick.
- 34:13Speaker 3: And I put like Shakira and J-Lo logos in the
- 34:16Speaker 3: middle of it.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And it was real cute, okay?
- 34:18Speaker 3: And I was all prepared for almost everything except for,
- 34:22Speaker 3: you know, people got there a little early just to prepare,
- 34:25Speaker 3: get the snacks, get a beer, and, you know, find
- 34:27Speaker 3: your place on the couch or whatever. So it's finally
- 34:30Speaker 3: time to like, okay, we got to put on the game.
- 34:32Speaker 3: So I go and I put it on. I'm like,
- 34:34Speaker 3: what channel is it on? And it's not available. So
- 34:38Speaker 3: I live kind of down in a valley and I
- 34:42Speaker 3: couldn't get the satellite to pick up the TV channel.
- 34:46Speaker 3: I also did not have an ESPN account at all.
- 34:51Speaker 3: And we are minutes, minutes.
- 34:55Speaker 4: From the national anthem, right? The flyover, everything that people
- 35:00Speaker 4: want to see. Nina, you didn't do any pregame, like, hey,
- 35:04Speaker 4: let's figure out what channel it's on. You were just like,
- 35:06Speaker 4: I made the snacks.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, literally.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Literally, and I had, like, 20 people at my house.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Are you kidding? So hold on.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Everyone's ready to, like, watch it. And then the dudes,
- 35:16Speaker 3: all the guys, they were getting mad at me. They
- 35:19Speaker 3: were like, Nina, you better get this game on now.
- 35:22Speaker 3: You better figure it out. And so I'm like, literally, like,
- 35:26Speaker 3: let me download the ESPN app really quick.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 35:31Speaker 3: And one of them gave me their login account.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 1: At that point, just take it. No, literally. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:36Speaker 3: And so we did eventually get it on, but they
- 35:38Speaker 3: were like, we are never coming to a Super Bowl
- 35:41Speaker 3: party at your house again, ever.
- 35:43Speaker 4: That's literally like, seriously, that's like, hey, guys, I'm going
- 35:46Speaker 4: to come over. I want to invite you all over.
- 35:49Speaker 4: We're going to grill some steaks. They all get there,
- 35:51Speaker 4: and you forget the steaks. That's the whole point of
- 35:54Speaker 4: the party. I know for you, you're like snackies and
- 35:56Speaker 4: all that stuff.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And I get that.
- 35:57Speaker 4: And that is an important part. You did not even check.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Were you married at this point?
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 1: What's your husband doing?
- 36:04Speaker 2: He is not a sports guy.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. What is happening? Exactly.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Everyone is like, why are we here? But I used
- 36:14Speaker 3: my friend's login and it was fine. And we watched
- 36:16Speaker 3: the game and we had a great time watching Shakira
- 36:18Speaker 3: and J-Lo shake their butts.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I'm actually pissed off at you. I'm actually mad. I'm
- 36:22Speaker 1: mad at you right now.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Do you want to come over to my house this
- 36:24Speaker 3: year for the Super Bowl? No. Don't get me wrong.
- 36:28Speaker 2: I really super hate talking about Diddy, but he is
- 36:30Speaker 2: in prison right now. So, you know, that's. That's the
- 36:32Speaker 2: silver lining.
- 36:33Speaker 3: But.
- 36:33Speaker 1: He's where he deserves to be.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:36Speaker 3: And recently in the news, he got caught partying and
- 36:39Speaker 3: having a little too much fun in jail, which is
- 36:41Speaker 3: a crazy sentence to say. But he is now paying
- 36:44Speaker 3: the price. He was put into solitary confinement. After all
- 36:48Speaker 3: of that came out that he had this secret cell phone,
- 36:50Speaker 3: he could watch TV and movies, and he was paying
- 36:53Speaker 3: people to, like, cook him stuff and do his chores
- 36:56Speaker 3: and all of that. And so, yeah, he is reportedly
- 36:59Speaker 3: still in solitary right now, and as they search for
- 37:03Speaker 3: that contraband cell phone and get a handle on his
- 37:06Speaker 3: whole situation behind bars right now.
- 37:08Speaker 1: How do you leak news out of jail?
- 37:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Like, how do they find out about this, and how
- 37:13Speaker 1: did that become a news press release?
- 37:14Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I can.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I don't know for sure, but I can probably assure
- 37:19Speaker 3: you that that is not the only contraband cell phone.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely not.
- 37:23Speaker 2: No, you're right. And who knows, with some of the guards,
- 37:26Speaker 2: maybe they're selling the story.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You're right.
- 37:27Speaker 3: You know what?
- 37:28Speaker 1: You're right.
- 37:28Speaker 2: We don't know.
- 37:29Speaker 3: But not only is he going through all of that
- 37:32Speaker 3: right now, Right now, his release date actually has been
- 37:36Speaker 3: pushed back by six weeks. So this just broke, and
- 37:41Speaker 3: we don't know exactly why. They haven't put an exact
- 37:45Speaker 3: reason why it got pushed back by six weeks or
- 37:47Speaker 3: added on six weeks to it.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Did he ask for it? Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 3: He's like, I'm cool. This is real nasty here.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I'm cool. I'm going to stay.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah. But no, I mean, think about the timing of
- 37:56Speaker 3: all of this happening, and now he has six more
- 37:59Speaker 3: weeks that he's got to be there.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Oh, that's, I mean.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Keep him in there. That's fine.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I would say it sucks, but it
- 38:04Speaker 1: sounds like he was having a good time.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I know.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe he did ask for it.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Nina, there was a viral video that went everywhere probably
- 38:13Speaker 4: early last week, and it was about a lady who
- 38:16Speaker 4: was saying, hey, I want to kind of have my
- 38:19Speaker 4: funeral before I die because she has FOMO. She's like,
- 38:22Speaker 4: I'll physically be at the funeral, but I'm going to
- 38:25Speaker 4: be missing out on all the fun and all the wonderful,
- 38:28Speaker 4: nice things people are saying about me.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 38:30Speaker 4: She decided, she's like, I'm going to throw a pre-funeral party.
- 38:34Speaker 4: I want people to celebrate me.
- 38:35Speaker 2: She wants to be there. She's like, tell me how
- 38:37Speaker 2: great I am.
- 38:38Speaker 4: She wants to be there alive and well. And this
- 38:40Speaker 4: went so viral, it was everywhere, that it even got
- 38:43Speaker 4: picked up by Good Morning America. And there's Kelly Ripa
- 38:47Speaker 4: and Mark Consuelos. They were talking about it as well.
- 38:49Speaker 1: It was everywhere. It was on the news stations.
- 38:51Speaker 4: But Kelly said something kind of funny about this. So
- 38:53Speaker 4: she just celebrated her 56th birthday. And she was kind
- 38:56Speaker 4: of thinking about this whole thing too. She watched the
- 38:58Speaker 4: video and she was like, okay, I kind of want
- 39:01Speaker 4: to plan out exactly how I want my pre-funeral or
- 39:05Speaker 4: normal funeral as well to go. And Mark, her husband,
- 39:08Speaker 4: made a funny joke talking about like, well, okay, hold on.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Do I have to get you ready and all this stuff?
- 39:12Speaker 4: And she goes, absolutely, flipping not. She goes, you will
- 39:15Speaker 4: not be touching me.
- 39:17Speaker 1: You will not be.
- 39:17Speaker 4: She goes, I have had a stylist for decades.
- 39:20Speaker 3: She's like, I'm hiring someone.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely. She's like, my stylist will make me look
- 39:24Speaker 1: as beautiful as ever. All these things.
- 39:25Speaker 4: She said, don't even do a darn thing. In which
- 39:28Speaker 4: he replied, absolutely, I'm.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Fine with that.
- 39:30Speaker 3: That.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Apparently.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Good husband.
- 39:31Speaker 1: He's listening.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Right. There's been a long time kind of back and
- 39:34Speaker 4: forth with them how he cannot, like, ever do anything
- 39:38Speaker 4: correctly when it comes to getting ready. And typical guy,
- 39:41Speaker 4: I understand that. I am not telling my girlfriend how
- 39:43Speaker 4: to dress at all.
- 39:44Speaker 2: No, don't you dare.
- 39:45Speaker 4: If you're a man, you understand. You just stay quiet
- 39:47Speaker 4: about that and let them look how they want to look.
- 39:49Speaker 3: And you just tell them they look so pretty.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Exactly. And they always do. Everybody looks beautiful. We love it.
- 39:54Speaker 4: So I think this is kind of funny, but it
- 39:56Speaker 4: got me thinking, would you ever want to join in
- 39:59Speaker 4: a pre-funeral or have your total funeral completely planned out?
- 40:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it is interesting.
- 40:05Speaker 3: And like she said, the FOMO is so real because
- 40:08Speaker 3: a lot of these funerals, it's a celebration of life,
- 40:11Speaker 3: a celebration of who you were as a person. And yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 3: it can be really uplifting to potentially hear all these
- 40:17Speaker 3: positive things that people you love gathered to be able
- 40:21Speaker 3: to say about you. So I get it. I don't
- 40:23Speaker 3: know that I would ever do it myself, but I
- 40:25Speaker 3: totally get it.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Would you want your funeral planned out down to what
- 40:29Speaker 4: you wear? Like, you're like, I have my dead person outfit?
- 40:32Speaker 4: Or are you like, I'm going to be cremated.
- 40:34Speaker 1: It's all good.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Honestly, I'll probably just end up being cremated myself.
- 40:37Speaker 3: But if I were to be having a funeral, yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 3: I think I would plan it all out. Not to
- 40:42Speaker 3: be negative or bring it down or anything, but my mom,
- 40:46Speaker 3: she is just planning ahead. You know, and she's getting
- 40:49Speaker 3: everything kind of set up right now. And I don't
- 40:52Speaker 3: think she's gotten to the outfit part quite yet, but
- 40:55Speaker 3: I would not put it past my mother.
- 40:56Speaker 2: She is going to plan every detail.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 40:59Speaker 4: She's that type A type person right there?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Not really, but I know that she would want it.
- 41:03Speaker 1: To be her way. She's extra then. There we go.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Oh, she's so extra.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I like that actually. That's kind of nice. Absolutely she is, yes. Hi, Norma.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I know she's listening right now.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Oh, hi, Norma.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Oh, hi, Norma. Ella Langley just absolutely knocked it out
- 41:17Speaker 3: of the park last night at Red Rocks. I'm seeing
- 41:19Speaker 3: more and more videos start to come up because, you know,
- 41:21Speaker 3: it's the next day. Everyone's like, let me go through
- 41:24Speaker 3: my footage, let me post it more to my stories,
- 41:26Speaker 3: and I'm so jealous.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I was like, you and I are kind of doing
- 41:29Speaker 4: the opposite thing right now. I'm not looking at stories
- 41:31Speaker 4: just yet, A, because I'm at work and a good employee,
- 41:33Speaker 4: but also on top of that... No, also on top
- 41:36Speaker 4: of that because... I'm so jealous. That is such a
- 41:39Speaker 4: big concert. I know.
- 41:40Speaker 1: I love her music.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Obviously, that song is such an earworm. It just sticks
- 41:43Speaker 4: with you. It's so good. It does.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I love it. And she has so many other hits, too,
- 41:46Speaker 1: first of all.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 41:48Speaker 1: And I'm insanely jealous, so I'm avoiding the stories.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I know.
- 41:51Speaker 3: And we're also very jealous of Antoinette, who won those
- 41:53Speaker 3: final pair of tickets yesterday at our event to give
- 41:56Speaker 3: them away over at Zig Zag Burgers. So thank you,
- 41:59Speaker 3: Zig Zag, for having us over there. We'll have to
- 42:01Speaker 3: do that again, because that was so much fun.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Food was great. Atmosphere was amazing.
- 42:06Speaker 4: Every worker there, I want to give a shout out
- 42:08Speaker 4: to them because they were all so nice. They were
- 42:11Speaker 4: so hospitable to us. They were so kind. Hey, do
- 42:14Speaker 4: you guys need water?
- 42:15Speaker 1: Do you need drinks? Anything like that. Over and over again.
- 42:17Speaker 1: So the entire event went seamless. It was amazing.
- 42:20Speaker 3: And we kind of brought in a lunch rush. And
- 42:22Speaker 3: I think that, I mean, they were aware. They knew
- 42:24Speaker 3: we were coming. We just weren't, we didn't know how
- 42:27Speaker 3: many people were going to show up.
- 42:28Speaker 1: No, it was a lot of, yeah, it was great.
- 42:29Speaker 4: I mean, 11,000 people's a lot, but we got them
- 42:32Speaker 4: all in there and it was, it was awesome. No,
- 42:33Speaker 4: it was, it was so cool to see how many
- 42:35Speaker 4: people showed up. Um, obviously Ella is a massive, massive
- 42:39Speaker 4: artist and to be able to have a chance to
- 42:41Speaker 4: win those tickets was great, but to try the food too,
- 42:43Speaker 4: there was a lot of people's first times going there
- 42:45Speaker 4: and they were reporting back to me saying, Hey man,
- 42:48Speaker 4: the burger that you recommended or whatever was fantastic.
- 42:50Speaker 1: And I'm like, you They make good food.
- 42:52Speaker 3: They make really good food. I had this burger with
- 42:54Speaker 3: goat cheese on it, and I am such a sucker
- 42:57Speaker 3: for goat cheese.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I love goat cheese.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I love it so much. If you're looking for just
- 43:01Speaker 3: a burger and a beer, Zig Zag has it. If
- 43:04Speaker 3: you're looking for a fancy burger with some goat cheese
- 43:06Speaker 3: and a beer, Zig Zag has it. So make sure
- 43:09Speaker 3: you go and check them out, and thank you so
- 43:10Speaker 3: much for having us. Three things you need to know
- 43:12Speaker 3: before you go into the office today, including this trendy
- 43:16Speaker 3: Japanese market that it's making its way to Colorado. It
- 43:20Speaker 3: is called the Hashi Market, and this is extremely popular today.
- 43:25Speaker 3: on TikTok, obviously extremely popular in Japan where, you know,
- 43:29Speaker 3: it started up. It's very popular in New York. They
- 43:32Speaker 3: have a couple of locations and now it is going
- 43:34Speaker 3: to be coming to Aurora. Yeah, right there on Mississippi Avenue.
- 43:39Speaker 3: And the big thing about this market is like, yes,
- 43:43Speaker 3: it has this big.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Freshwater fish market inside there.
- 43:47Speaker 3: You can get all the fun Japanese snacks and everything
- 43:49Speaker 3: like that that are very popular. They also do these
- 43:53Speaker 3: sushi demonstrations, so sushi lovers are gonna be real excited
- 43:58Speaker 3: about Hashimarket.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I love sushi. I can't get enough of it.
- 44:04Speaker 4: I could eat it every single day, twice a day.
- 44:07Speaker 4: I just love it because there's so many different kinds too.
- 44:10Speaker 4: I almost never get the same thing. I have my favorites,
- 44:13Speaker 4: I like the spicier kind, but that being said, you
- 44:15Speaker 4: can always find different ways they prepare it.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I'm like a sushi, I love it.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Have you ever made your own sushi?
- 44:22Speaker 4: Um, I have, and I didn't like it, which is fine.
- 44:24Speaker 4: That's the first time and only time I didn't like it.
- 44:26Speaker 4: I think I messed it up.
- 44:27Speaker 3: I know.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I think I messed it up. My rice wasn't holding
- 44:30Speaker 4: together very well. The roll wasn't great. Um, the making
- 44:33Speaker 4: it was really fun, but I, I, it.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Fell apart on me.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Oh, well, once the Hashi market opens up over there
- 44:39Speaker 3: in Aurora, you can go to the sushi demonstrations and
- 44:42Speaker 3: you can perfect your sushi roll making skills, Josh.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Okay. There we go. I love it.
- 44:47Speaker 4: I would absolutely go to this. I think that's a really,
- 44:49Speaker 4: really cool thing that they do there. Um, Nina, this
- 44:51Speaker 4: is interesting. I just found a story that says fall,
- 44:54Speaker 4: or autumn, as other people like to call it, is
- 44:57Speaker 4: when we are most likely to finally fall off that
- 45:01Speaker 4: diet train. So people are really usually good about making
- 45:04Speaker 4: it at the beginning of the year, you know, the
- 45:05Speaker 4: New Year's resolution.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Of course. All that good stuff. They say.
- 45:09Speaker 4: In springtime, too, we're especially good at it. But during
- 45:13Speaker 4: the fall, we are 11% more likely to fall off
- 45:17Speaker 4: that train than we are in winter. Which is funny,
- 45:19Speaker 4: because I think winter is when we're eating all the
- 45:21Speaker 4: sweets and everything, right?
- 45:22Speaker 1: Well, yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 3: It starts with Halloween and all the candy. And then
- 45:25Speaker 3: there's Thanksgiving and then Christmas. And we're just eating. And
- 45:28Speaker 3: you know what? Summer's over. We don't need to be
- 45:30Speaker 3: in bikinis anymore.
- 45:31Speaker 2: So it's like, whatever.
- 45:32Speaker 4: Hey, summer bods are built in the winter. But yes,
- 45:34Speaker 4: you're 11% more likely to eat worse in fall than winter.
- 45:37Speaker 4: 14% more likely to eat worse in fall than in spring,
- 45:41Speaker 4: and then 12% more than the summer.
- 45:43Speaker 1: So it's just one of those things. Be cautious.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Don't put on the Thanksgiving 20, I guess, or whatever.
- 45:50Speaker 1: But I think that's also true. You're right. I didn't
- 45:52Speaker 1: think about how much candy we're eating.
- 45:54Speaker 3: There's a lot of sweets that come in the fall.
- 45:56Speaker 4: And the PSLs are coming back out. We're eating pumpkin pie. Yeah.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I mean, it makes sense.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I need to get my stretchy pants.
- 46:03Speaker 3: There you go. And Coco, the Front Range train that's
- 46:07Speaker 3: going to be coming, it has a place on some
- 46:10Speaker 3: Colorado ballots this year, but whoopsies, 800,000 voters received ballots
- 46:17Speaker 3: that include a tax question about Coco that they are
- 46:20Speaker 3: not eligible to vote on. So this was a big
- 46:23Speaker 3: whoops at the fact that they were printed on all
- 46:26Speaker 3: of these ballots and sent out. But officials are saying,
- 46:29Speaker 3: you know what? This was our bad. We do apologize
- 46:32Speaker 3: for it. This was our fault. But we're just not
- 46:34Speaker 3: going to report on those ineligible votes. Because, again, it's
- 46:38Speaker 3: a tax question about COCO. And it's all these different
- 46:41Speaker 3: districts and communities in the front range.
- 46:44Speaker 2: But then people in Aurora are all of a sudden
- 46:46Speaker 2: going to see these questions. And they're like, that has
- 46:48Speaker 2: nothing to do with them.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Whoopsies, they do apologize, and they are assuring everyone they're
- 46:55Speaker 3: figuring out on how to not report those ineligible votes,
- 46:58Speaker 3: so that only the community members who have to deal
- 47:00Speaker 3: with the taxes with CoCo, they will be the only
- 47:03Speaker 3: ones to have their votes in on that.
- 47:05Speaker 4: Well, you'd think that it's just kind of like a Scantron, right?
- 47:08Speaker 4: You just kind of fill in the circles of the
- 47:09Speaker 4: things that you want to vote on, and so I'm
- 47:11Speaker 4: sure they can program something to just not count it.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like the boundaries that they need to figure out,
- 47:15Speaker 3: so they're working on it. Josh, as we go through
- 47:19Speaker 3: our daily lives, Things evolve, and it even evolves with
- 47:23Speaker 3: grocery shopping, as weird as that sounds.
- 47:26Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 47:29Speaker 3: But more and more people, we are buying in bulk
- 47:32Speaker 3: because A, it's cheaper, and the world's life is more
- 47:35Speaker 3: expensive than it has ever been before, and we're like,
- 47:38Speaker 3: please help, anything we can do. So buying in bulk
- 47:41Speaker 3: definitely helps, and stores like Costco specifically are have just
- 47:45Speaker 3: gotten so much more popular through the years.
- 47:48Speaker 1: They're inspiring us now, Nina.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Honestly.
- 47:51Speaker 4: The things that we can get, which, by the way,
- 47:53Speaker 4: first of all, I love Costco. I'm an avid Costco shopper.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Even if it's just for myself, I have to go
- 47:59Speaker 4: to the store only once every.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Two months now.
- 48:01Speaker 3: It's fantastic.
- 48:01Speaker 1: There you go. But yeah, you're right. I think the
- 48:04Speaker 1: world also, unfortunately, we're just getting lazier.
- 48:06Speaker 4: I know. We try to find ways to Just cut
- 48:10Speaker 4: the corners in any single way that we can.
- 48:12Speaker 2: In any way.
- 48:13Speaker 4: And this is now showing up more and more often.
- 48:15Speaker 4: People are adding Costco doors. I'm putting that in quotations
- 48:19Speaker 4: to their homes now so they can essentially load their
- 48:22Speaker 4: groceries directly from the car straight to their pantry without
- 48:26Speaker 4: needing to. make the trip around your kitchen, I guess?
- 48:30Speaker 3: Like, carry the bags through the garage by the front door,
- 48:35Speaker 3: through the kitchen, into your pantry, and then you.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Put it away?
- 48:39Speaker 4: The way that you just described it, like, for me,
- 48:41Speaker 4: I am a one-trip man.
- 48:43Speaker 1: I don't do.
- 48:44Speaker 4: I will die on my way in holding 87 grocery
- 48:49Speaker 4: bags plus the sodas that I bought, whatever. Like, I
- 48:52Speaker 4: will take that in one trip because, God forbid, I ever.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Have to take two trips to the car.
- 48:57Speaker 3: You have to do two trips.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 48:58Speaker 4: It's like I have to prove to myself that I
- 48:59Speaker 4: still can, and I'm just over there like.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Stomping, trying to get my way in. Yeah.
- 49:04Speaker 4: I'm always a one-person trip. So maybe for me this
- 49:06Speaker 4: would make sense because then I can just kind of
- 49:07Speaker 4: slide everything through the kitchen doors. But it's essentially just
- 49:10Speaker 4: cutting a hole through your garage door that leads straight
- 49:14Speaker 4: to where your pantry is. And you can kind of
- 49:16Speaker 4: slide the groceries down or push them in.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Open a little window, open a little door.
- 49:20Speaker 1: It's a doggy door, essentially. Yeah, sounds like it. It looks,
- 49:24Speaker 1: we're so lazy. It's lazy. I mean, we are so lazy.
- 49:28Speaker 1: It's so funny.
- 49:29Speaker 4: I make this analogy. We are getting closer and closer
- 49:31Speaker 4: to the world of Wall-E. than ever before. I mean,
- 49:35Speaker 4: we watched that cute little cartoon.
- 49:36Speaker 1: It picks our movie. It's adorable.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Wally, we love it. But like next time you watch
- 49:42Speaker 4: that movie, watch the people in there. And then you're like,
- 49:44Speaker 4: we're about 10 years.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Away from that.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Yeah, no, honestly. And I, this honestly proves it.
- 49:48Speaker 3: People, the fact that people are making different house upgrades,
- 49:51Speaker 3: if you can call this an upgrade of these Costco doors,
- 49:54Speaker 3: it's not actual doors sold at Costco. It's just so
- 49:57Speaker 3: that you can easily buy Load your pantry without having
- 50:00Speaker 3: to walk more steps than you need to.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Which people get your steps in. Come on now. It's
- 50:04Speaker 1: good for us.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I thought that's what we were doing.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Don't be lazy. Come on.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Come on. Costco doors. That's ridiculous.
- 50:11Speaker 3: And we have quite the busy weekend, Josh. You and
- 50:14Speaker 3: I both on Sunday are going to be at Making
- 50:17Speaker 3: Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. It is going to be
- 50:21Speaker 3: on Sunday at Tivoli Quad at the Auraria campus. And
- 50:24Speaker 3: we would love for you to walk alongside us if
- 50:27Speaker 3: you can, wear your pink.
- 50:29Speaker 2: And if you're not able to.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Come and join us on Sunday, then you can absolutely
- 50:33Speaker 3: donate to our team. Of course, all of those proceeds
- 50:36Speaker 3: are going straight to the American Cancer Society for Making
- 50:39Speaker 3: Strides Colorado. I'm going to be helping MC. And Josh,
- 50:42Speaker 3: you are kind enough. to just come along for the
- 50:44Speaker 3: ride and hang out and just have a good time.
- 50:47Speaker 2: And, you know, it's all for a great cause.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Well, and again, you're right. It is for a great cause.
- 50:50Speaker 4: I want to be out there and meet the people.
- 50:53Speaker 4: I want to see the people who are walking with
- 50:55Speaker 4: us and donating their time and possibly money, you know,
- 50:59Speaker 4: to this amazing cause. And, Nina, I had an epiphany
- 51:02Speaker 4: yesterday that really kind of scared me. I want to
- 51:05Speaker 4: wear a lot of pink for this event, obviously. Being
- 51:08Speaker 4: a man who is so colorblind, I'm, like, so nervous
- 51:11Speaker 4: that I didn't buy pink. So I need to send
- 51:14Speaker 4: you some pictures later of the outfit that I want
- 51:16Speaker 4: to wear because.
- 51:17Speaker 3: So I can confirm that you bought pink stuff?
- 51:19Speaker 4: They might be gray or purple. Like, I genuinely have
- 51:21Speaker 4: no idea. I'm like, I'm going to show up in
- 51:23Speaker 4: all purple. And you're like, hey, buddy.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Like, this is the wrong color.
- 51:27Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 51:28Speaker 3: I appreciate the effort, but it's not quite pink.
- 51:31Speaker 4: I cannot tell you how many things I've bought thinking
- 51:33Speaker 4: it's navy blue. And my mom would be like, hey.
- 51:35Speaker 4: I didn't really know you're so into purple. And I'm like,
- 51:37Speaker 4: I thought it was navy blue. So I really do,
- 51:40Speaker 4: I gotta run this by you. Like, I have no
- 51:42Speaker 4: idea what I'm wearing and what color it is. So
- 51:44Speaker 4: you're gonna get some outfit pics later, okay?
- 51:47Speaker 3: Yes, send me a photo of what you bought. I
- 51:49Speaker 3: will make sure that it is pink. Dating in Denver
- 51:52Speaker 3: is such a nightmare. Josh, all I got to say
- 51:55Speaker 3: is I am so glad I am married because I
- 51:57Speaker 3: couldn't imagine going through it. And luckily for you, you
- 52:01Speaker 3: are taken right now.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I've been there. I mean, Nina,
- 52:05Speaker 1: I have been there. And it is.
- 52:06Speaker 4: I'm speaking from my perspective only, but it is.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Please do. It's a hellhole. I mean, to be honest. Like,
- 52:12Speaker 1: it is... It's just crazy. People do not expect any
- 52:18Speaker 1: type of commitment. No.
- 52:19Speaker 4: And this is crazy because usually for me... It's always been, historically,
- 52:24Speaker 4: the woman wants the commitment and the man's kind of like, well,
- 52:26Speaker 4: let's just see where things go, you know?
- 52:27Speaker 1: Sure, yeah. But it's, I would say it is so
- 52:30Speaker 1: much closer to 50-50 now.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Where no one wants commitment, no one wants anything.
- 52:34Speaker 4: And then you try the online dating and that's just
- 52:38Speaker 4: hookup central.
- 52:39Speaker 2: I really wonder what it is.
- 52:41Speaker 3: I wonder if it's just like the new generation of
- 52:44Speaker 3: dating and if it's like that everywhere. Or is it
- 52:46Speaker 3: Denver specifically? Because Denver is kind of one of those places.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Notorious.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Where, well, people will move here for a few years,
- 52:54Speaker 3: kind of live the mountain life and have some fun,
- 52:56Speaker 3: and then they'll move away. And because there's not long-term
- 53:00Speaker 3: plans for a lot of people to stay here, maybe
- 53:02Speaker 3: that's why there's such a hookup culture.
- 53:04Speaker 1: I mean, maybe.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Nina, we're the only Love is Blind season to have
- 53:07Speaker 4: nobody stay together.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Zero.
- 53:10Speaker 3: None. That was so terrible. Crazy.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I don't know. You actually brought up a really good point.
- 53:17Speaker 4: I have not thought about that because Denver's been such
- 53:19Speaker 4: a home to me for so long.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Maybe it is, because I know we're called the melting
- 53:22Speaker 4: pot state. People come here from everywhere, maybe stay a
- 53:24Speaker 4: year or two, and then they peace out.
- 53:26Speaker 1: And then they're leaving. I don't know.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Taking relationships too seriously, I feel like it just doesn't
- 53:31Speaker 3: happen around here.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Maybe not.
- 53:32Speaker 3: And I have a lot of single friends, and so
- 53:34Speaker 3: I hear their horror stories, and I get mortified sometimes
- 53:38Speaker 3: at some of it. It's hard out there.
- 53:40Speaker 4: It is, but we're trying here.
- 53:43Speaker 1: And you know what, Nina?
- 53:44Speaker 4: We're trying with dating apps again. And this one specific,
- 53:48Speaker 4: there is a new one coming to... hopefully lend a
- 53:51Speaker 4: helping hand. It's kind of like Love Connection, so think
- 53:54Speaker 4: of this. Some people are frustrated with modern dating, I
- 53:57Speaker 4: understand that, but there is an old game called Love
- 54:00Speaker 4: Connection and it's kind of where essentially you would have
- 54:03Speaker 4: you and another picture posted together and people would vote
- 54:07Speaker 4: of like, they would make a cute couple.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Now that's based solely on looks.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Based on looks?
- 54:11Speaker 4: Based on looks alone, okay? This is different than that.
- 54:14Speaker 4: There's a new app called Rivet and it allows other
- 54:17Speaker 4: people to kind of play cupid for you um you
- 54:20Speaker 4: can sign up to be a matcher which is really
- 54:22Speaker 4: cool i kind of want to do this you can
- 54:24Speaker 4: sign up to be a matcher and then you can
- 54:25Speaker 4: also sign up to be the people that are like
- 54:27Speaker 4: the contestants if you will okay so it's a little
- 54:30Speaker 4: game and you also put in like things you're interested
- 54:32Speaker 4: in so that it can kind of not just go
- 54:34Speaker 4: on looks alone it's going to match you up with
- 54:36Speaker 4: someone that has similar ideas and likes like this but
- 54:39Speaker 4: That being said, the matchers get to then see an
- 54:42Speaker 4: AI-generated photo of you and whoever is like you, you.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Know, in terms of together.
- 54:48Speaker 3: So that you're like, ooh, we look cute together. Maybe
- 54:50Speaker 3: we should give it a try.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 54:52Speaker 4: But on top of this, you are not only thinking
- 54:54Speaker 4: you look cute, you have other people. So let's say
- 54:57Speaker 4: you're like, oh, I think this is, you know, we
- 54:59Speaker 4: would look good together.
- 55:00Speaker 1: And then it has.
- 55:00Speaker 4: 50 down votes, you're like, oh, okay, you know what,
- 55:03Speaker 4: never mind. So it's kind of just giving the outward
- 55:06Speaker 4: complexion of what you guys would look like in the
- 55:08Speaker 4: general public. And I kind of like this because it
- 55:11Speaker 4: involves people who are not in your life at all
- 55:14Speaker 4: and can give you a completely raw, unedited answer And
- 55:18Speaker 4: be like, hey, you guys look horrible together, or be like, yeah,
- 55:20Speaker 4: you'd be a really cute couple if I saw you
- 55:22Speaker 4: walking downtown.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I guess I understand that, but at
- 55:25Speaker 3: the same time, with it being kind of really based
- 55:27Speaker 3: on the outward appearance, it's like, aren't we trying to
- 55:29Speaker 3: move away from that?
- 55:29Speaker 4: Well, so this isn't just this. So that's the difference
- 55:31Speaker 4: between the love connection game and this. So matchers are
- 55:34Speaker 4: not just given the outward appearance, they're also given all
- 55:36Speaker 4: of the data.
- 55:37Speaker 1: So you are.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Everything that you say you like, everything.
- 55:40Speaker 4: That she says she likes or whatever, without revealing anybody's
- 55:43Speaker 4: personal information, but including the core personality traits, interests, and
- 55:48Speaker 4: relationship intentions. Again, that's, you know, I'm just looking for
- 55:50Speaker 4: a hookup or I'm looking for commitment here. And then
- 55:52Speaker 4: also the physical preferences. So this is the difference between
- 55:55Speaker 4: the Love Connection Game Show and this app now. And
- 55:57Speaker 4: then you just submit yes or no. Like, hey, yeah,
- 55:59Speaker 4: that's a good couple. You're kind of swiping right or
- 56:01Speaker 4: left depending on yes, that's a good couple. Yep, no,
- 56:03Speaker 4: that's not a good couple.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. I mean, yeah, Denver dating, it's really tough. So,
- 56:07Speaker 3: I mean, you can give this app a try. I
- 56:09Speaker 3: just talked yesterday about the Rhino Soulmate photo booth that
- 56:13Speaker 3: they have.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Which is another cool thing.
- 56:15Speaker 3: I think that is really cool. And it kind of
- 56:17Speaker 3: matches you up with someone else. Again, just answering questions.
- 56:20Speaker 3: They answered a lot like you did. Go find your
- 56:22Speaker 3: soulmate kind of deal. And then another dating event that
- 56:26Speaker 3: is coming to Denver this weekend.
- 56:28Speaker 2: It's going to be up later at Mix100. com on your
- 56:30Speaker 2: Den 10 website.
- 56:32Speaker 3: But all the singles out there, bring a friend to
- 56:35Speaker 3: pitch a friend. Now, this has come out here before,
- 56:39Speaker 3: and it's super fun, and I've seen videos of it,
- 56:42Speaker 3: and I've seen it on TV before, and Pitch a Friend,
- 56:45Speaker 3: it is this event where you go and you bring
- 56:48Speaker 3: your single friend, but you literally get up on stage
- 56:50Speaker 3: and you talk about how great your friend is, why
- 56:54Speaker 3: they would be a good boyfriend, girlfriend, all the things
- 56:57Speaker 3: that they bring to the table, and you're literally to
- 57:00Speaker 3: a crowd of other singles pitching a friend as to
- 57:03Speaker 3: why someone should date them, which I love that.
- 57:08Speaker 1: What?
- 57:08Speaker 4: You know what my sadistic kind of personality trait would be?
- 57:13Speaker 1: What?
- 57:14Speaker 4: I want to go there, and I just want to
- 57:17Speaker 4: talk about how horrible my friend is in every single way. Oh,
- 57:20Speaker 4: that's so mean. And just see if someone would love
- 57:25Speaker 4: them at their worst. What, if you don't love me
- 57:26Speaker 4: at my worst, you don't get me at my best?
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Look, this person, habitually late. You know, his room is
- 57:33Speaker 4: so messy. Dude can't keep anything straight. His car is
- 57:36Speaker 4: always out of gas. He probably won't pay for your dinner.
- 57:38Speaker 4: And if there's a girl out there that's like, you
- 57:40Speaker 4: know what? That's his worst character traits. I can work
- 57:42Speaker 4: on him. that's your future wife right.
- 57:44Speaker 1: There, buddy.
- 57:45Speaker 4: Honestly?
- 57:46Speaker 2: At first I thought you were a little bit crazy,
- 57:47Speaker 2: but you know what?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Not too bad.
- 57:48Speaker 3: That's not the worst idea.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Not too shabby.
- 57:50Speaker 2: As long as it's not too, too bad.
- 57:52Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to destroy my friend's confidence, but
- 57:54Speaker 4: I'm going to be real and be like, hey, you
- 57:55Speaker 4: know what? This guy never shows up on time, so
- 57:57Speaker 4: you're going to have to plan 40 minutes ahead of everything. Right, right.
- 57:59Speaker 2: I just don't want you to be up on stage like, has.
- 58:01Speaker 3: seven baby mamas and expired tags for four years.
- 58:05Speaker 1: You went from late to baby mamas?
- 58:08Speaker 4: Nina!
- 58:08Speaker 1: Well, you know, honestly.
- 58:09Speaker 4: I just experienced my worst nightmare on the air. We
- 58:11Speaker 4: are clicking the buttons to go on air and I
- 58:13Speaker 4: have a sneeze building.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Oh, is that what you were doing over there?
- 58:16Speaker 1: I was freaking out. I was like, no, don't hit
- 58:17Speaker 1: the mic yet.
- 58:19Speaker 4: Sorry, we're pulling back the curtain a little bit, but
- 58:21Speaker 4: I see, you know, we have timing in here and
- 58:23Speaker 4: the clock is going down.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I'm like... I'm like, oh, gosh. We're good. We made
- 58:28Speaker 1: it through.
- 58:28Speaker 3: So you're barely hanging in there, but that's good.
- 58:30Speaker 1: That and choking.
- 58:31Speaker 4: I was with a co-host a few years ago on
- 58:33Speaker 4: a sports side of the station, and he started choking
- 58:36Speaker 4: on the air.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Because we're guys. He likes to eat on the air.
- 58:39Speaker 1: You know, whatever.
- 58:40Speaker 4: That's great radio. But starts choking, and I'm over here
- 58:43Speaker 4: trying to run a radio program, and I'm like. Oh, no.
- 58:46Speaker 1: I don't know what to do here. He got it up.
- 58:49Speaker 1: He lived. We're good. Everything's fine. That's good. Sorry, just
- 58:51Speaker 1: lived through a nightmare of mine there really quick.
- 58:53Speaker 3: But are you okay?
- 58:54Speaker 1: We're good.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Deep breaths.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to reset right now.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Yep, totally fine.
- 58:58Speaker 2: All right, Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh.
- 59:00Speaker 1: There we go. Yes, and we made it through the day.
- 59:02Speaker 1: We did. We did.
- 59:03Speaker 3: We finally made it through the day. That's good. But
- 59:05Speaker 3: it is not the end of the show without admitting
- 59:08Speaker 3: our wrongs. Josh, what do you got?
- 59:09Speaker 4: You know, earlier in the show, this was like one
- 59:12Speaker 4: of the first segments we did. We talked about Britney
- 59:14Speaker 4: Spears and kind of how healthy she's living now.
- 59:17Speaker 1: It looks really good. She's taken her sons out. It
- 59:20Speaker 1: seems that way. Yeah.
- 59:21Speaker 4: She's taken her sons out. They went to Dollywood and
- 59:24Speaker 4: Just had a grand old time, right? And I love that.
- 59:26Speaker 4: And there was a time in my life, all the
- 59:28Speaker 4: way up very recently, where I'm just like, is she
- 59:31Speaker 4: ever going to kind of get it together? She's had
- 59:34Speaker 4: so many problems, unfortunately. It's been very public, and that's
- 59:37Speaker 4: very sad. She has lived a very public life, and
- 59:39Speaker 4: we've seen many of her struggles. So I'm very happy.
- 59:43Speaker 4: to be wrong about this because it seems like she's
- 59:45Speaker 4: kind of headed down the right path.
- 59:46Speaker 2: That she's doing okay?
- 59:47Speaker 1: That's good. Yes, I love that. It makes me very happy.
- 59:49Speaker 1: So I'm very happy to be wrong about that. Okay, good. Yeah,
- 59:51Speaker 1: what did you get wrong?
- 59:52Speaker 3: All right, I had wrong that people had common sense. Oh, man.
- 59:55Speaker 2: My bad.
- 59:56Speaker 3: You should know that. Well, you know. There's a new
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: disclaimer on Reese's peanut butter pumpkins this year that the
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: carving is not on the actual product because it shows
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: a little like jack-o'-lantern eyes on the chocolate. And they
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: were forced to put on a disclaimer because so many
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: people had an issue with it that, I don't know,
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: the fact that this whole company had to make new
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: wrappers put on a disclaimer. And I just think it's
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: annoying that we have to complain about everything.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Nina, you know someone saw this, saw a chance at
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: a quick buck or a quick million, and they sued
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: them and they were like, you caused catastrophic damage to
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: my son's hopes and dreams, thinking that he would be
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: able to eat a printed on pumpkin on the new
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Reese's out there. That's what they do though. And they're like,
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: my son had to go to therapy for this.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Because they want to make a quick buck. That's what
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: people do. They always want money.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Now I wonder if someone actually made money off of
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: that and that's why they had to put the disclaimer.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: Or if there was just enough complaints that they're like, fine,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: we'll do it.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Something like that. Also, Reese's, it's not that hard to
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: print on chocolate. It's really not.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: No, it's not. But I think it shows it's technically carved,
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: so then you would have to stamp something on each
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: individual piece of chocolate, and then they're like, no, that's
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: where we draw the line.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: That's where they draw the line. We are not stamping.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: No, absolutely not.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: All right, Reese's. Oh, man.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: All right, Nina and Josh, and we're getting out of here.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: And Angela Cortez coming in next. You have a great
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: rest of your day, and we will talk to you
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: tomorrow morning. Thank goodness it's Friday.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Woohoo! Goodbye.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: All right, bye.
