Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Alright, alright, come and throw you alive from Philly. It's
- 0:10Speaker 1: the Folly and Tony Foolsco Show as always, Polly Foolsco.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Here with Tony Foolsco and Tony. Tons of feedback from
- 0:19Speaker 1: our last episode. As you all know, we tried to
- 0:22Speaker 1: save the sport of bowling from its terrible announcer, Rob
- 0:25Speaker 1: Stone and hey and our Tuesday Night Bowling League. Everybody
- 0:30Speaker 1: was coming up to us thanking us for putting him
- 0:33Speaker 1: in his place, right, Tony, Yeah, They said it was
- 0:36Speaker 1: the single best podcast about the specifics of bowling television
- 0:40Speaker 1: coverage that they'd heard, and at least the last week
- 0:43Speaker 1: or so huge praise. Anyway, people, this week we have
- 0:48Speaker 1: another sport in crisis suddenly back in the m v
- 0:52Speaker 1: P conversation right now, a man who continues to ruin
- 0:56Speaker 1: basketball for everybody, the overgrown toddler known as Steph Curry.
- 1:01Speaker 1: What happened to the good old days when the game
- 1:03Speaker 1: was played by people who at the very least had
- 1:06Speaker 1: gone through puberty. You know, the other night I got
- 1:09Speaker 1: confused seeing Stephen these little people running around everywhere. I
- 1:13Speaker 1: thought I accidentally turned on the Wizard of Oz or something. Yep. Anyway,
- 1:18Speaker 1: we're gonna bring on a big man today who unfortunately
- 1:21Speaker 1: got swept up in this Warrior's nonsense. Number one picked
- 1:25Speaker 1: to the Bucks, then an NBA champion with Golden State
- 1:29Speaker 1: the seven football Andrew Bogut. And you know we're gonna
- 1:33Speaker 1: ask him if he feels like that title he's got
- 1:35Speaker 1: his tainted because yeah, you want to ring, but you
- 1:37Speaker 1: know he ruined basketball in the process. You know, if
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'm him, I would be ashamed to be associated with
- 1:44Speaker 1: the team like that. That's basically a disgrace to the sport. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 1: so true. Anyway, we'll get to that now. You know
- 1:52Speaker 1: you're probably wondering, hey, Paully, Tony, it's NFL Draft week
- 1:55Speaker 1: while you're doing NBA. Well, of course you'd say that
- 1:59Speaker 1: if you didn't know when anything about how the media
- 2:01Speaker 1: works exactly. This is what they call in the business
- 2:04Speaker 1: counter programming. You know, you see this work all the
- 2:06Speaker 1: time people. You know, back in the day, while all
- 2:09Speaker 1: those people were wasting their time watching American Idol, Tony
- 2:13Speaker 1: and I were watching reruns of According the Gym in
- 2:16Speaker 1: eight Simple Rules. Such terrific counter programming totally worked on us.
- 2:23Speaker 1: And now he has more terrific counterprogramming, because we're gonna
- 2:26Speaker 1: get real deep into our top story story, all right,
- 2:33Speaker 1: to recap a top story. It just keeps getting worse
- 2:36Speaker 1: for the NBA. Steph Curry, who, as you all know,
- 2:40Speaker 1: isn't tall enough the board most of the rides at Disneyland,
- 2:43Speaker 1: has somehow forced his way into the m v P
- 2:45Speaker 1: conversation because he keeps lobbing in three pointers because he
- 2:49Speaker 1: doesn't have the balls or the height to get in
- 2:52Speaker 1: the key and try a two point like a basketball
- 2:55Speaker 1: player should. And Tony, this just continues to ruin the game,
- 2:58Speaker 1: does of course it does. This is not how basketball
- 3:02Speaker 1: was ever meant to be played. It was meant to
- 3:04Speaker 1: be played by tall people with some sort of hormone
- 3:08Speaker 1: growth disorder, you know, a hyperactive gland or something like that.
- 3:13Speaker 1: These players these days, with their skills competitions, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: they should get rid of all of that and just
- 3:19Speaker 1: have a good old fashioned height contest. Then you know
- 3:24Speaker 1: who the real best players are, you know, Tony. It's
- 3:28Speaker 1: just sad, and it it all makes me long for
- 3:30Speaker 1: the days when the game you willed to be exciting,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know, because we all know the best part about
- 3:35Speaker 1: basketball was getting to see a tall person attempted two
- 3:39Speaker 1: point out from you know, seven or eight feet away
- 3:41Speaker 1: from the basket. That was great. Absolutely. You know, you
- 3:45Speaker 1: look back at all the greatest shooters in history, Wilt Artist, Gilmore, Mark, Eaton,
- 3:53Speaker 1: the great Sean Bradley, and of course the greatest shooter
- 3:58Speaker 1: of all time seven for seven Manutaball a true marksman.
- 4:04Speaker 1: People forget one season he shot an incredible from the field.
- 4:11Speaker 1: That is a mind blowing but also totally believable stat
- 4:15Speaker 1: right there. And you know, up top we said, this
- 4:17Speaker 1: isn't how basketball is supposed to be played. But you know, Frankly,
- 4:21Speaker 1: this isn't how the human race is supposed to be played.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, tall people have dominated since the dawn of time,
- 4:28Speaker 1: haven't they, Tony, Absolutely right, Pauly. Just look at presidents too.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Number one tallest all time, Abraham Lincoln totally dominated elections.
- 4:40Speaker 1: The only way you could bring him down was by
- 4:43Speaker 1: shooting him. You know. On that note, you know what
- 4:46Speaker 1: our cousin Vinny Lips told me. He said that the
- 4:49Speaker 1: Wilkes booth guy didn't actually mean to shoot Lincoln. It
- 4:53Speaker 1: was that Lincoln was so tall that he got in
- 4:57Speaker 1: the way of whatever booth was shooting. Wow. You know,
- 5:02Speaker 1: if any lips said it, it's gotta be true. You know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: another sidebar here, you know why we're talking about all
- 5:09Speaker 1: these tiny basketball players. This reminds me of why I
- 5:12Speaker 1: always had a problem with that movie Team Wolf. Remember
- 5:15Speaker 1: that one, Michael J. Fox. Oh yeah, he's like four eleven,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and yet at the end of the movie he plays
- 5:21Speaker 1: in a basketball game and drops like forty points against
- 5:25Speaker 1: a team of full sized people. You know, for me,
- 5:29Speaker 1: that was harder to believe than the parts way he
- 5:31Speaker 1: turned into a wolf, and everyone at his high school is,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you know, kind of okay with it. I don't know
- 5:36Speaker 1: about all of you out there, but if a kid
- 5:39Speaker 1: came to my school one day and overnight he had
- 5:42Speaker 1: transformed into a wolf, I drive a wooden steak through
- 5:45Speaker 1: his heart. You'd have to. I mean, at the very least,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you would have to call animal control of something. I
- 5:51Speaker 1: definitely wouldn't play basketball against him. Well, and that you
- 5:56Speaker 1: know who I have no problem playing basketball against Steph Curry. Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you'd kick his ass totally. By the way, you notice
- 6:05Speaker 1: how we're six seven minutes into the show and it's
- 6:08Speaker 1: going terrific and we haven't once mentioned the NFL Draft. Wow,
- 6:13Speaker 1: I didn't even notice, did you know? But you know
- 6:17Speaker 1: what I've been thinking about, Tony. Remember that show we
- 6:20Speaker 1: used to watch during Seinfeld, of course, Diagnosis Murder Thick
- 6:26Speaker 1: Van Dyke in a career defining role. Another great example
- 6:30Speaker 1: of counter programming. Yeah, counter programming anyway, on programming you anyway?
- 6:38Speaker 1: On that note, let's keep talking basketball here because I
- 6:41Speaker 1: see our guess coming on the line, So let's get
- 6:44Speaker 1: him on the FUSCO satellite network. Alright, I guess today.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You know, one of the great centers and two point
- 6:53Speaker 1: shooter is the last twenty years Nay Smith college player
- 6:55Speaker 1: of the Year at Utah, number one overall. Pick two
- 6:58Speaker 1: thousand five to the Bucks was just tremendous. Then, of
- 7:02Speaker 1: course he goes to the Warriors and well, you know,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the story takes a turn for the worst. There. We'll
- 7:06Speaker 1: get into that with them, but first, Andrew Bogut, welcome
- 7:10Speaker 1: to the show. How you going doing well? Thank you? Yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 1: you know, before we get into the Warriors rigor morole
- 7:18Speaker 1: they nobody's probably ever asked you this before, but how
- 7:21Speaker 1: the hell does an Australian become a basketball player? When
- 7:25Speaker 1: you told your parents you wanted to play basketball. Weren't
- 7:27Speaker 1: they like, you know, what the fund is basketball? I've
- 7:31Speaker 1: just done at one day and ended up with one
- 7:35Speaker 1: of those things. Uh, maybe it's the accent or something,
- 7:39Speaker 1: but I have no idea what you just said. Something
- 7:41Speaker 1: about the University of Utah or something. Anyway, Tony has
- 7:45Speaker 1: something on that subject for the great seventies sixer. Right now,
- 7:49Speaker 1: he's the best player in the NBA. Ben Simmons, he
- 7:52Speaker 1: grew up in Australia, but when you hear him talk,
- 7:55Speaker 1: he doesn't sound anything like Yo. He sounds like he
- 7:57Speaker 1: grew up in Ohio. Do you have to consider trying
- 8:01Speaker 1: to talk like a normal NBA player, you know, so
- 8:04Speaker 1: that your teammates maybe Do you wish that you would
- 8:07Speaker 1: have done that so they could understand you better? Oh,
- 8:10Speaker 1: you're right there. I definitely had some issues with people
- 8:13Speaker 1: understanding what the hell I was talking about media, and
- 8:17Speaker 1: that's that's a good thing, because I could sometimes get
- 8:19Speaker 1: some things out, get induced out, and no one had
- 8:22Speaker 1: any idea what the hell I was thinking. Don't you
- 8:25Speaker 1: getting the word of this? I can't understand the thing? Nope, Yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 1: there's there's there's pros and cons of the old accent
- 8:30Speaker 1: kind of like, you know, your accent, I mean that
- 8:32Speaker 1: that sounds like absolute rubbish. Um, excuse me, you know
- 8:36Speaker 1: what rubbish? What what French? Oh you want to come back?
- 8:44Speaker 1: We're getting off. You know. I got to be honest.
- 8:46Speaker 1: We've been doing this interview two minutes. I haven't understood
- 8:48Speaker 1: a fucking word you've said so far. There you go.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You know, I know what's going on here. What you're doing, Bogan,
- 8:55Speaker 1: is you're trying to distract the conversation, trying to deflect.
- 8:58Speaker 1: That's that's not good. Let's get to the meter while
- 9:01Speaker 1: you brought away where you brought you here. Look, we're
- 9:04Speaker 1: gonna be a little sensitive toward you because I'm sure
- 9:06Speaker 1: it was a tough break for you. You were a
- 9:07Speaker 1: number one big man in Milwaukee, right, averaging sixteen a game.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Then you go to Golden State and they cut your
- 9:14Speaker 1: points in half, even a third. Didn't you look around
- 9:17Speaker 1: and think, hey, I'm seven ft tall? What the fox
- 9:20Speaker 1: going on here? They keep passing the ball to that
- 9:22Speaker 1: little person in the corner. Yeah, it was a little
- 9:25Speaker 1: frustrating at times, Um, but at the end of the day,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I had a nice jewelry setting on my finger. At
- 9:30Speaker 1: the end of that journey, so it all kind of
- 9:31Speaker 1: worked out. Yeah, but didn't you feel like the odd
- 9:36Speaker 1: man out? Because we looked this up, your career three
- 9:39Speaker 1: point percentage was twelve percent. You were like three for five,
- 9:44Speaker 1: which is not good. Did Steph and the other guys,
- 9:48Speaker 1: you know, like Clay did they laugh at you whenever
- 9:51Speaker 1: you took a three? How everyone laughed at me when
- 9:54Speaker 1: I took a three, thankfully from beyond the half court line.
- 9:57Speaker 1: So against me, but not a strength of mind in college.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It was though three point shot was was working back
- 10:04Speaker 1: then that somehow got lost along the gain. I heard
- 10:07Speaker 1: that's why Rick mageris retired early because he was having
- 10:10Speaker 1: a heartburn from all the three pointers you had taken.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You might be right, might be right? You know you
- 10:16Speaker 1: talk about that ring you have, don't you think it's
- 10:18Speaker 1: a little tainted because yeah, you won a championship, but
- 10:21Speaker 1: you know, the Warriors and you you ruin the basketball
- 10:24Speaker 1: as we know it with all this three point shooting ship.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Doesn't that kind of take it down a peg for
- 10:28Speaker 1: you a little bit. Almost ruined the big man, They
- 10:31Speaker 1: ruined myself. Yeah, but you know, sometimes you get to
- 10:36Speaker 1: take the the cons with the pros. And the day
- 10:40Speaker 1: I got out just in time. You know, the demands
- 10:43Speaker 1: of the big man. He's there and you guys have
- 10:45Speaker 1: Joel Embiad and Philly though, so you never know that
- 10:47Speaker 1: could work out? Well, what do you mean? It is working?
- 10:51Speaker 1: And that's because Joel Embiid said to his teammates, he said,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm seven ft tall. You're gonna do what I say.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Why don't you say that the stuff like us in
- 11:00Speaker 1: your little fun give me the ball? Why don't you
- 11:02Speaker 1: say that? I said something along those lines that, Um,
- 11:07Speaker 1: all I got in response was was lost from the point.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So I kind of kind of figured the deafening silence
- 11:12Speaker 1: after I mentioned that was enough for me to move
- 11:15Speaker 1: on from that. Oh, so were they were? Were you
- 11:18Speaker 1: scared of them? What? What? What? You're scared of the
- 11:20Speaker 1: little people there a little bit? You know, there's little
- 11:23Speaker 1: people that can keep you in the ankles. You know,
- 11:25Speaker 1: it hurts like health, so you've got to be careful.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But yeah, I figured that, um, the guys making the
- 11:30Speaker 1: big bucks would probably put me on a plane and
- 11:32Speaker 1: send me out a climate city or Detroit or something
- 11:34Speaker 1: if I'm not careful. So I keep my mouth shut
- 11:37Speaker 1: a little bit. Well, rehirely for that matter. I mean
- 11:39Speaker 1: imagine Philly back then. It was. It was a horrible
- 11:42Speaker 1: time in Uh remember the old tank that you guys
- 11:45Speaker 1: wrote for about five straight years. Uh, you know, we
- 11:49Speaker 1: trust the process, That's what we did. We were we
- 11:52Speaker 1: trusted the two. It was called shooting the two, sticking.
- 11:56Speaker 1: That was what the process was, you know, sticking with
- 11:58Speaker 1: the fundamentals and of ruining the game. But you know
- 12:01Speaker 1: we're hitting on something who has made losing very good.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I will give you that. Sorry, we couldn't. Sorry, we couldn't,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you know, technically cheat ourselves to a championship like you did,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, riding the coat tails of the small people.
- 12:16Speaker 1: You know, you were you were hitting on something there.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Do you think that Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, don't you
- 12:23Speaker 1: think they're prejudiced against tall people like you because they're
- 12:26Speaker 1: so short? Yeah, they had like it's like they had
- 12:29Speaker 1: a Napoleon Dynamite complex where that makes them feel inferior
- 12:33Speaker 1: to be around someone so big who could crush them
- 12:37Speaker 1: like a mosquito. You know, don't you think that's what
- 12:39Speaker 1: it was with Curry and Steve Kerr? Maybe they were
- 12:42Speaker 1: sizest I mean, yeah, I think that's why. I think
- 12:46Speaker 1: that's why n ball so well. He was just so
- 12:50Speaker 1: scared to coming to the paint. You can see guys
- 12:53Speaker 1: like myself, so he just you know, it out of
- 12:55Speaker 1: way to manipulate the game. And it's just it needs
- 12:57Speaker 1: to be stopped. I think as a society we need
- 12:59Speaker 1: to stand up and they stop big and shaming big
- 13:02Speaker 1: guys and I mean, God, Curry just they should not
- 13:05Speaker 1: be allowed to shoot the ball from the distance there. Now,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you're making good sense, you know. Don't you think you're
- 13:12Speaker 1: not giving off credit because you know, Steph and Clay
- 13:14Speaker 1: they were able to hit those shots from far back
- 13:17Speaker 1: because nobody wanted to go face a seven ft under
- 13:20Speaker 1: the rim. Don't you think you should get you know,
- 13:23Speaker 1: for all those threes like one and a half points,
- 13:25Speaker 1: you should get credited for all those three pointers. I
- 13:28Speaker 1: we should get something. I mean, the maths is not right.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I mean, it's the hard work that we uh wear,
- 13:33Speaker 1: you know, we're the one to get hit there and
- 13:34Speaker 1: scratching the three boys, they're just shooting trees out there,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you know, father behind the line. It's just it's very
- 13:40Speaker 1: frustrating and it's just something that needs to change. Wow,
- 13:43Speaker 1: this is getting deep good exactly exactly. You know. Also,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you averaged about nine ten rebounds a game. Did Steph
- 13:53Speaker 1: ever have the class to say, Hey, Andrew, thank you
- 13:57Speaker 1: forgetting those rebounds? Because I'm so little, I could never
- 14:01Speaker 1: have any hope of touching the ball unless you went
- 14:05Speaker 1: up and got it for me, So thank you? Did
- 14:07Speaker 1: he ever do anything like that? And thank you? Not
- 14:10Speaker 1: even a cake? I mean, it's the cold world, and
- 14:12Speaker 1: I would expect some sort of some sort of cake
- 14:15Speaker 1: or a handshake or a high five. You know, this
- 14:18Speaker 1: was expected. Which it's a sad, sad story, you know.
- 14:25Speaker 1: But that that gets to that we're gonna get on
- 14:28Speaker 1: something that might be a little too sensitive for you.
- 14:30Speaker 1: But let's go back to it because we have to
- 14:32Speaker 1: talk about it, alright. So you win the title with
- 14:35Speaker 1: the Warriors, you carry them seventy three win season, You
- 14:41Speaker 1: get to the finals versus the Calves. You get injured
- 14:44Speaker 1: in Game five. That changes the whole series. We know,
- 14:48Speaker 1: the rest of the Warriors lose big time. Don't you
- 14:50Speaker 1: think that proved that you were the centerpiece of the organization. Oh,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it's got a death, as you too, very smart guys
- 14:59Speaker 1: know clear as day. It's on paper, and I think
- 15:02Speaker 1: if I wouldn't you know, being helping those games? We
- 15:05Speaker 1: win both games by fifty yep. And did you mention
- 15:07Speaker 1: that to Steph? Didn't you say, like, you know, now
- 15:10Speaker 1: you see how important I am, how useless you are?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Did you say that to him? I think it was
- 15:16Speaker 1: something that was just unspoken. I think you know, they
- 15:19Speaker 1: realized after experience was over, as he passed ourselves in
- 15:22Speaker 1: the hallway, I could just tell him his eyes that
- 15:23Speaker 1: he wanted to say it, but he was He was
- 15:25Speaker 1: little scared as he said that the big man little
- 15:27Speaker 1: man team, So we kind of knew that it was
- 15:29Speaker 1: just an unspoken respect. Yeah, and after that you got traded?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Did Steph have you traded or did you tell your
- 15:37Speaker 1: agent get me away from these A holes? Yeah? I
- 15:40Speaker 1: wanted out because it wasn't you know, it wasn't a
- 15:42Speaker 1: there Like you said that, they wouldn't let me shoot three,
- 15:44Speaker 1: they wouldn't let me be me, they wouldn't buy me
- 15:47Speaker 1: a cake for getting rebound. We were just trying to
- 15:49Speaker 1: move on. Wow. Wow, serious question. Did you ever accidentally
- 15:54Speaker 1: step on Steph? Like, were you walking down the hallway
- 15:58Speaker 1: and you heard a noise and you were like what
- 16:01Speaker 1: was that? And was he down there? Like, ah, did
- 16:05Speaker 1: that ever happen? Unfortunately not, unfortunately not. I would have
- 16:09Speaker 1: liked to have done it a few times. Um. You know,
- 16:12Speaker 1: Owner is such a good guy. I mean he's always
- 16:15Speaker 1: always um fun to be around. But you know he
- 16:17Speaker 1: was he was cracking the switch behind the scenes and
- 16:20Speaker 1: and overworking all of that, just Sully. So alright, alright,
- 16:26Speaker 1: so we're gonna give you an opportunity right now. You
- 16:28Speaker 1: say it right here. This will help cleanse the air
- 16:32Speaker 1: for you. Okay, you say repeat after me. You say
- 16:35Speaker 1: I hate Steph Curry for ruining the NBA, and I
- 16:38Speaker 1: hereby do solemnly swear to renounce the championship that I
- 16:42Speaker 1: helped him win. Go ahead say it. Well, I'm not
- 16:47Speaker 1: very long to remember. So can I say something to you.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You're a little bit of a p word, you know
- 16:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You're a little little scared scared. I'm
- 17:02Speaker 1: just guess what this interview, This interview is bogus because
- 17:11Speaker 1: you're so terrible. We're kicking your ass out the show.
- 17:14Speaker 1: It's just like Stephen, we're sending you to the dial tone.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Just a bunch of absolute video. Get him off the line. Unbelievable?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Is he off the line? You know? Now I know
- 17:31Speaker 1: why Steph Curry kicked his tall as to the car
- 17:34Speaker 1: because that was ten eleven minutes. Can you imagine eighty
- 17:37Speaker 1: two games with that? I blow my brains out, by
- 17:40Speaker 1: the way, Tony, you know that I was distracted during
- 17:42Speaker 1: that interview because I couldn't stop thinking about one thing.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You know what it was, Crocodile Dundee exactly. You know,
- 17:49Speaker 1: one of the all time great trilogies, Crocodile Dondee three,
- 17:54Speaker 1: the best by far. Absolutely. But you know, staying on
- 17:58Speaker 1: this subject because uh, today we're gonna do in the
- 18:00Speaker 1: business what they call targeted advertising. You'll see, we're thinking
- 18:05Speaker 1: ahead here because we know right now there's naturally going
- 18:08Speaker 1: to be a lot of Australians listening to this episode.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So that's why we're gonna do an ad for a
- 18:14Speaker 1: great Australian company. Outback Steakhouse. People, you're really still only
- 18:21Speaker 1: eating Mexican food, Chinese food. Come on, expand your horizons
- 18:26Speaker 1: a little. You gotta try Australian food now. Honestly, at first,
- 18:31Speaker 1: I was a little skeptical about eating at Outback. You know,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I figured they'd serve me dead kangaroo or something, but nope.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I was pleasantly surprised to learn no kangaroo on the menu.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And Tony, you recently had a terrific experience at an
- 18:46Speaker 1: outback steakhouse, didn't you. Yeah, this girl had kind of
- 18:50Speaker 1: been seeing off and on. A Bologna said she wanted
- 18:54Speaker 1: us to plan a trip together to visit Australia, and
- 18:58Speaker 1: I said, why bother goal? And all the way there
- 19:01Speaker 1: when we got a perfectly good place just twenty seven
- 19:04Speaker 1: minutes away up the Inn State. So we hopped in
- 19:08Speaker 1: my car and went to out Back and boy did
- 19:12Speaker 1: we have a terrific feast on so many traditional authentic
- 19:17Speaker 1: Australian delicacies, bluemn onions, salads with ranch dressing, and crude
- 19:25Speaker 1: times steak, and for dessert the couse de gras New
- 19:31Speaker 1: York cheesecake made by real Australians. And when we finished,
- 19:38Speaker 1: a Bologna said this was way better than a trip
- 19:42Speaker 1: to Australia, and I said, don't worry, sweetheart, You're still
- 19:47Speaker 1: gonna get to go down Under, if you know what
- 19:51Speaker 1: I mean. What a wonderful story and the tribute to
- 19:56Speaker 1: the high quality dining experience. You'll have at Outbacks a
- 20:00Speaker 1: house now to be clear. Outback Steakhouse hasn't you know,
- 20:04Speaker 1: officially sponsored our show. But come on after that, you
- 20:08Speaker 1: know we're gonna be hearing from them. Oh yeah, they're
- 20:11Speaker 1: gonna be sending us a huge check. Great business move
- 20:15Speaker 1: by us, Tony. And hey, look at the time, shows
- 20:18Speaker 1: about to be over. So hey, we're not gonna over.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Not over. Oh, here we go again. The worst voice
- 20:26Speaker 1: in podcast Producer Jay producer J What Tony? In the
- 20:31Speaker 1: interview with Andrew Bogett, you refer to a Napoleon dynamite complex.
- 20:37Speaker 1: It's actually called a Napoleon complex. It's named after the
- 20:40Speaker 1: French emperor, not the character from the movie. Yeah. Well,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'm going to take a stick of dynamite and shove
- 20:48Speaker 1: it up your ass. You want to talk complexes, I'm
- 20:52Speaker 1: gonna go to your apartment complex and suffocate you with
- 20:55Speaker 1: a pillow while you sleep. Yeah, no more, Tony. Second one? What?
- 21:00Speaker 1: You also claim that manew Polls shot percent from the
- 21:03Speaker 1: field one season. He never came close to that, usually
- 21:07Speaker 1: average barely from the field. In his best season, he
- 21:11Speaker 1: shot six from the field, but that was because the
- 21:14Speaker 1: only attempted ten shots all season and made six. Oh yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: well I regret the day your parents made six with
- 21:23Speaker 1: each other and conceived you. Yeah, you should go make
- 21:27Speaker 1: six with yourself, because no woman will ever want to
- 21:32Speaker 1: do that with you. Yeah. No more. We're done enough productions.
- 21:35Speaker 1: What both of you? You keep acting like Steph Curry
- 21:40Speaker 1: is some little person. He is. He's six ft three,
- 21:44Speaker 1: he's taller than both of you. I mean, i've seen
- 21:47Speaker 1: your driver's licenses. You both are five eleven. I'm gonna
- 21:53Speaker 1: be doing five to eleven years for murdering you. You know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: you're just upset because you have a little person living
- 22:00Speaker 1: in your pants. Yeah, you know, someone has to care
- 22:05Speaker 1: about accuracy on the show. Oh, don't worry. We'll care
- 22:08Speaker 1: about accuracy when we throw this microphone at your head. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 1: we'll be right on target. Don't worry. That's a reminder.
- 22:16Speaker 1: People sending your resumes Polly and Tony Fusco show at
- 22:19Speaker 1: gmail dot com. We got thousands of them to sort through.
- 22:22Speaker 1: We're gonna get to that, but right now we've got
- 22:25Speaker 1: breaking news papers booked on the show. Next week, it's
- 22:29Speaker 1: official Super Bowl Legend Eagles hero Nick Falls will be
- 22:34Speaker 1: joining us big big, you know. In the meantime, we're
- 22:39Speaker 1: not gonna thank Andrew Bogutt I mean Augus. Yeah. I
- 22:44Speaker 1: also want to apologize to the Great Paul Hogan for
- 22:48Speaker 1: bringing on such a poor representation of Australia on our show.
- 22:53Speaker 1: We just want to also say good day to all
- 22:57Speaker 1: Australian listens. There you go anyway, great job as always,
- 23:02Speaker 1: don'ty saying to you poorly another floorless shop. There you go.
- 23:07Speaker 1: We'll see your people next week. Bye, see you.
