- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset.
- 0:25Speaker 2: What I just feel like you're looking at me?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome back to another episode. I couldn't even finish
- 0:35Speaker 1: because the sister energy in here is just given laughs
- 0:38Speaker 1: right now. I don't know, it just is. But welcome
- 0:41Speaker 1: to a new series. We are starting a Sip and
- 0:44Speaker 1: Spill Sister edition where we're going to be spilling the
- 0:47Speaker 1: tea and giving our best advice when it comes to anything.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We actually just created an Instagram story on our Instagram
- 0:53Speaker 1: page where we wanted you guys to ask any questions
- 0:56Speaker 1: that you guys might have so for future reference, we're
- 0:59Speaker 1: going to be doing this on a monthly basis. If
- 1:01Speaker 1: you guys want to be involved in, just input any
- 1:03Speaker 1: questions or any advice you guys want from us when
- 1:05Speaker 1: it comes to what do we talk about? Relationships, self care, advice,
- 1:11Speaker 1: glow ups, just like anything?
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah, living your best life?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah exactly.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah, we just figured we'd kind of introduced the topic
- 1:20Speaker 1: of this episode that we're going to be doing moving
- 1:22Speaker 1: forward once a month, and I really hope you guys
- 1:24Speaker 1: enjoy this new episode series that we're going to be starting.
- 1:28Speaker 1: But because we called it Sip and Spill, we'd like
- 1:31Speaker 1: to shout out.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Chat GBT for creating this title.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Honestly, we just went on chat GBT and we're like,
- 1:37Speaker 1: what's a cute like sister episode idea? And they thought of, well, whoever,
- 1:42Speaker 1: CHATJEBT isill Sip and Spill. So I'm like, that's cute
- 1:45Speaker 1: because we could get drinks and just kind of like,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I don't know, tied into the episode series. So today's
- 1:53Speaker 1: drink of choice is a poppy. We love poppy so much.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have ever tried it.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We're having the cherry lime flavored, like, yeah, we're obsessed
- 2:03Speaker 1: with poppies, Like I have one probably like three times
- 2:06Speaker 1: a week. Same, Yeah, it's pretty bad. What's your favorite
- 2:09Speaker 1: flavor though.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I'd say either the cherry limeaid or the cranberry one
- 2:16Speaker 2: that's limited edition.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, the fizz Cranberry fizz that probably yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 1: that actually I think is my favorite.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I just love cranberry anything. Yeah, Cranberry ginger ale my
- 2:27Speaker 2: go to and I was like, I gotta switch it up,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and now I'm obsessed with the poppies.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. Cherry lime Maaid is also one of
- 2:35Speaker 1: my favorites. The Cranberry Fizz is also very good. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: also love the strawberry lemonade in my opinion because I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: a huge lemonade girl. But they do have a lot
- 2:43Speaker 1: of flavors in the States that I still have not
- 2:45Speaker 1: tried that I do think would be really good. Like
- 2:47Speaker 1: they have blueberry. I think they have some type of
- 2:50Speaker 1: like row one lemon lime, lemon lime.
- 2:54Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That one we actually have tried. The rose one, the
- 2:57Speaker 1: pink rose. Yeah, so good. So whenever we go to
- 3:00Speaker 1: the States, we usually like stock up on different flavors
- 3:03Speaker 1: of poppies that we can't get here. I'm hoping eventually
- 3:06Speaker 1: they'll come here. Like right now, we only have those
- 3:08Speaker 1: flavors that I mentioned.
- 3:09Speaker 2: We actually Costco.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Costco sells the blueberry and.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Level I know I have to tell you about that.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I have to get they have a case of it now,
- 3:16Speaker 2: we know right now, like at our like local grocery stores,
- 3:20Speaker 2: we have like the actual boxes of the orange, the strawberry, cherry, Lund,
- 3:25Speaker 2: Doctor Pop not even the cherry Lime made Cherry Lime
- 3:28Speaker 2: just launch at Costco. Right, I've right, you're right doctor
- 3:34Speaker 2: pop Poppy is it called? Yeah, and it's like a
- 3:36Speaker 2: doctor cooler, Yeah, doctor peppers. Those are the only ones,
- 3:40Speaker 2: which is unfortunate because we're both poppy lovers.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you guys have never heard of poppy. Essentially,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's like a healthier alternative to soda. So there's only
- 3:49Speaker 1: like three to four grams of sugar. I believe it
- 3:51Speaker 1: actually has apple cider vinegar in it as well, So
- 3:54Speaker 1: there's a lot of like pros to it just being
- 3:56Speaker 1: like a good alternative if you're that kind of person
- 3:58Speaker 1: that just like wants to cut out soda, Like I
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't know the last time I had soda.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you honestly like it makes you not feel
- 4:05Speaker 2: the need no soda.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Which is great because there's so much sugar in soda. Guys.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Like one time I just looked at like a can
- 4:13Speaker 1: of coke to see how much sugar is actually in it,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and I think it was thirty two grams of sugar. Wow,
- 4:17Speaker 1: thirty two grams. That's crazy. So anyways, it's just so
- 4:21Speaker 1: good alternative. So that is our drink. Of the day,
- 4:23Speaker 1: But we thought it could be fun to have this
- 4:25Speaker 1: as like part of the episode because we thought, you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: there's so many fun drinks that we could try, Like
- 4:30Speaker 1: we've been trying Macha lately. We've been trying different coffee
- 4:34Speaker 1: orders at like Starbucks and just like different like local
- 4:37Speaker 1: coffee shops. So we just thought that could be a
- 4:39Speaker 1: fun way to like tie into the conversation about sipping
- 4:43Speaker 1: a drink. So anyways, we're gonna get into some of
- 4:45Speaker 1: the questions that you guys sent us over. Actually, let's
- 4:48Speaker 1: first do a little introduction of my sister being here.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I think she's been on an episode here before, but yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 1: not for a while. Yeah, maybe say your name, your age,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and yeah, well you just finished, Yeah, a little bit
- 5:00Speaker 1: about yourself.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Well hi everyone. If you don't know me, my name
- 5:04Speaker 2: is Madison. Kaylee usually calls me Maddie. I am twenty
- 5:08Speaker 2: five years old. I just turned twenty five in March.
- 5:12Speaker 2: What else, I just finished my masters, So I've been
- 5:15Speaker 2: in school for quite some time. Me and Kayley have
- 5:18Speaker 2: been always working together for quite a while, but I
- 5:20Speaker 2: think I just haven't had the time with school to
- 5:23Speaker 2: actually dedicate the time to working with her, and now
- 5:27Speaker 2: I do now that I'm done school, which is nice.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So yeah, I did my undergrad for four years and
- 5:33Speaker 2: then did another two years and just finish my masters,
- 5:37Speaker 2: which is exciting. I don't really know that's good. No,
- 5:41Speaker 2: I think that's good.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Me and my sister do have a pretty close relationship,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and we're going to get into some questions here in
- 5:47Speaker 1: regards to a relationship with your family or with your sister,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and like how to stay close with the sibling. That
- 5:54Speaker 1: was actually one of our questions that someone had to ask. Yeah, oh,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I guess it was a common question that people. That's
- 6:00Speaker 1: which is good because, to be fully transparent, my sister
- 6:03Speaker 1: and I were not always close, and I think that's
- 6:06Speaker 1: a pretty common thing when it comes to siblings. Like
- 6:08Speaker 1: when we were younger, I would say when I was
- 6:10Speaker 1: like starting out in high school and Madison was like
- 6:14Speaker 1: just getting into the same school as me.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So like when I started grade and a grade eleven,
- 6:19Speaker 2: is it when we started getting close or when we no?
- 6:21Speaker 2: When we weren't.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Close all the time I was in grade eleven, you
- 6:24Speaker 1: were in grade seven.
- 6:25Speaker 2: When you think about it, I feel like every older
- 6:28Speaker 2: sister doesn't really love their younger sister. Yeah, only because
- 6:32Speaker 2: like I just wanted to be just like her, right,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and she kind of saw that as like me trying
- 6:38Speaker 2: to copy her.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Literally, ever since I was seven years old, there's videos
- 6:42Speaker 1: that I look back at where my sister's like what
- 6:44Speaker 1: three or four, and like I would pick, like, okay,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I want purple pajamas, and Madison's like I want purple
- 6:49Speaker 1: pajamas too, and I'm like, oh my gosh, you can't
- 6:52Speaker 1: copy me, Madison. But like when you look back at
- 6:54Speaker 1: it now, now we always copy each other and we
- 6:57Speaker 1: want to copy each other.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Just bought like two of the exact same bags and
- 7:02Speaker 2: like neither of us care like she thought of the idea.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I was like, wait, I kind of love that.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I actually want whatever she buys.
- 7:08Speaker 3: She like each other's influence. Yeah, she literally did not
- 7:12Speaker 3: even influence when you influence me. All the time, she'll
- 7:14Speaker 3: show me something that she bought. Even on Amazon, we'll
- 7:17Speaker 3: like buy each other's We have like.
- 7:18Speaker 2: The same Amazon account. So sometimes I'll have something in
- 7:22Speaker 2: my cart that I'm gonna buy and then it'll be
- 7:25Speaker 2: gone and my sister will be like, oh yeah, sorry,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I already bought it. I like, oh, well, now I
- 7:29Speaker 2: have to readd it to my car.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's funny because we just like influence each other. But
- 7:32Speaker 1: like when you think of things back then, it definitely
- 7:34Speaker 1: wasn't always that way. And I want to say, like
- 7:37Speaker 1: when we when we were younger, I think there was
- 7:39Speaker 1: always a bond, but like we always butted heads. But
- 7:41Speaker 1: I think when it was like really bad is when
- 7:43Speaker 1: I was older and I kind of understood, you know,
- 7:46Speaker 1: I was older, and I just felt like you weren't cool,
- 7:49Speaker 1: right because you're so much younger than me, because we
- 7:50Speaker 1: are four years apart, right, so it's not like, you know,
- 7:53Speaker 1: we have a two year age gap where like we
- 7:55Speaker 1: kind of were in the same phase or same air
- 7:57Speaker 1: on her life. I feel like four years is a
- 7:58Speaker 1: pretty big difference where you can start to notice that
- 8:01Speaker 1: like I'm in high school versus you're still in elementary school.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, And also too,
- 8:06Speaker 2: like I feel like when you, for example, started college
- 8:10Speaker 2: and when I was in I was still in high school.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Like I just feel like at that point, especially at
- 8:16Speaker 2: when you're four years apart, there's definitely different levels of
- 8:19Speaker 2: maturity one hundred percent. So yeah, I think that was
- 8:21Speaker 2: kind of the main reason why we were butting heads.
- 8:24Speaker 2: But it was never like we were.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Like cover in a bad place like no, no hated
- 8:30Speaker 1: each other.
- 8:30Speaker 2: It was just it was, honestly always like the same
- 8:34Speaker 2: constant fights we'd have, Like I think, I don't I
- 8:37Speaker 2: didn't even think of.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Like what are you bringing up right now?
- 8:42Speaker 2: Oh, I can think of a lot.
- 8:44Speaker 1: See, I don't have a good memory of that kind
- 8:46Speaker 1: of stuff.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Well, I remember you threw a phone at.
- 8:52Speaker 3: That's the most relatable thing I've ever No, I don't
- 8:54Speaker 3: remember throwing a phone at you.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I think, well, clearly you did something me off. Anyways,
- 9:02Speaker 1: long story short, the relationship was not always where it
- 9:05Speaker 1: was now. I think, you know, we always had a connection,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but like it was never as strong as what it
- 9:12Speaker 1: is now. Like I think what brought us closer is honestly,
- 9:15Speaker 1: like the maturity level and growing up, as you said,
- 9:18Speaker 1: Like I feel like because at a certain age, like
- 9:21Speaker 1: you grow at different rates, right like you were, you know,
- 9:24Speaker 1: still pretty young, especially when I was in college and
- 9:27Speaker 1: you were in high school. I would say, honestly, when
- 9:29Speaker 1: Madison got to university and I had a full time job,
- 9:33Speaker 1: we did actually start working together for my dad's company
- 9:36Speaker 1: for a period of time. And I do think that
- 9:38Speaker 1: kind of brought us closer together in a sense because
- 9:41Speaker 1: being around each other a bit more than just at home,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and like working together. I also find like working in
- 9:47Speaker 1: an environment with another person, like, yeah, you really get
- 9:50Speaker 1: to know the person, right, Like so I thought.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I also think that the point in our lives where
- 9:59Speaker 2: I personally feel like we got the closest was when
- 10:02Speaker 2: you moved out. Yeah, that's when I think is that
- 10:05Speaker 2: is alsois because I feel like we we didn't really
- 10:10Speaker 2: realize how much we enjoyed each other's company until we
- 10:15Speaker 2: didn't live together anymore. And I think that brought us
- 10:18Speaker 2: closer than ever because we actually made the effort to
- 10:22Speaker 2: you know, we FaceTime every day now, yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Literally and literally more than everything. Yeah, probably ten times
- 10:29Speaker 1: a day.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but like it just I think it just made
- 10:32Speaker 2: us closer because we weren't, you know, living together anymore,
- 10:37Speaker 2: so we just wanted to be together all the time.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah. And I think like if you don't have a sister,
- 10:43Speaker 1: like think of your best best friend that you can
- 10:45Speaker 1: think of that you may have a really close relationship
- 10:47Speaker 1: with that you constantly call for advice or you constantly
- 10:50Speaker 1: call for literally anything, just to just talk like that's
- 10:54Speaker 1: the best comparison I would save to a sister. I mean,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I think personally for me, like I obviously have best
- 10:59Speaker 1: friends who are my age I am very close with,
- 11:01Speaker 1: but there's nothing like a bond when it's family. I
- 11:04Speaker 1: don't know, there's something it's hard to like you can
- 11:07Speaker 1: compare it to it, but in a sense, it's hard
- 11:09Speaker 1: to like compare to that.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Well, it's also too like she's the only person in
- 11:14Speaker 2: my life who's literally had the almost the exact same
- 11:19Speaker 2: experiences growing up, right, Yeah, we share the same parents,
- 11:23Speaker 2: so it's like how I grew up is how she
- 11:26Speaker 2: grew up. And I can't remember where I saw this,
- 11:29Speaker 2: maybe on TikTok, but I remember somebody talking about like
- 11:32Speaker 2: the reason, like the bond with your sibling is so
- 11:36Speaker 2: strong is because typically, like you know, the way you
- 11:41Speaker 2: grow up sets you up for how you live in
- 11:44Speaker 2: the future, and you know, no one compares to your
- 11:48Speaker 2: sibling in terms of how you grew up, Like if
- 11:51Speaker 2: your sibling experienced trauma, you experienced trauma, you know. Like
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean, obviously, like that's a bit more broad and
- 11:59Speaker 2: doesn't apply to every situation, but I think more the
- 12:03Speaker 2: point is is that you know, you guys have been
- 12:06Speaker 2: through almost everything together.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think, like building a relationship with your sibling,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think the best thing to do is really just
- 12:13Speaker 1: find things that you have common. So for us, like
- 12:16Speaker 1: we both love to work out, so I feel like
- 12:19Speaker 1: a lot of the cases will be us, like booking
- 12:20Speaker 1: a workout class together. We also both played the same
- 12:24Speaker 1: sport growing up, so Madison plays soccer. I used to
- 12:26Speaker 1: play soccer, So sometimes we'll go play a soccer game together,
- 12:30Speaker 1: usually in the summer. You know, other things is just
- 12:33Speaker 1: obviously girly things like going shopping together, going to get
- 12:36Speaker 1: our nails done together, Like find things that you both
- 12:39Speaker 1: have a lot in common in and like try and
- 12:42Speaker 1: experience those things together.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because it also makes doing whatever that thing is
- 12:47Speaker 2: more fun.
- 12:48Speaker 1: When Yeah, and it's a bonding experience and like I
- 12:50Speaker 1: feel like that's kind of something or a way to
- 12:52Speaker 1: like create a bond between each other and get closer.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So that would probably be my top recommendation if you're
- 12:58Speaker 1: trying to build a stronger relationship with your sibling. Another
- 13:01Speaker 1: question we got asked a lot was about like friendship
- 13:04Speaker 1: breakups and like making friends in your twenties, how to
- 13:07Speaker 1: handle your early twenties all that, and I think we
- 13:10Speaker 1: can both agree that we've both been through our own
- 13:13Speaker 1: friendship breakups. I think it's a very common thing that
- 13:17Speaker 1: happens to people, especially in your twenties, because it's such
- 13:21Speaker 1: a roller coaster. We've talked about this in you know,
- 13:24Speaker 1: other episodes where you know, your twenties are supposed to
- 13:27Speaker 1: be a roller coaster of emotions and a roller coaster
- 13:30Speaker 1: of a time. I do think you do grow a lot,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and you do change a lot from the beginning of
- 13:34Speaker 1: your twenties to the end. And you know, Madison's twenty five,
- 13:37Speaker 1: so she's still in her twenties. But I do think
- 13:40Speaker 1: there's been a lot of different friendships even in the
- 13:43Speaker 1: five years of your twenties. And I think about, you know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: my early twenties versus now, like I actually had a
- 13:49Speaker 1: recent friendship breakup that I actually just thought about, looking
- 13:52Speaker 1: at Madison right now when didn't even talk to her
- 13:54Speaker 1: about this. With my wedding, I had someone who didn't show.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Up to my wedding.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and yeah, it was a very sticky situation. I
- 14:05Speaker 1: actually haven't spoken to her since, and I'm not that
- 14:09Speaker 1: kind of person where I'm gonna purposely ignore you in
- 14:12Speaker 1: a situation like if she's at you know, a gathering
- 14:15Speaker 1: that you know someone is hosted, like a friend's night
- 14:18Speaker 1: or something like if she approaches me and she says, hey,
- 14:20Speaker 1: how are you, Like, I'm gonna say hi, I'm good
- 14:22Speaker 1: you like a I don't want to say act like
- 14:23Speaker 1: everything's okay. But I'm not gonna go out of my
- 14:26Speaker 1: way to make plans with this girl. I'm not gonna
- 14:27Speaker 1: go out of my way to like, you know, see
- 14:30Speaker 1: her or anything like that. So for me, I guess
- 14:31Speaker 1: the way I'm dealing with this recent friendship breakup is
- 14:34Speaker 1: just like not giving her like my time and energy,
- 14:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like I'm not going to
- 14:39Speaker 1: reach out, I'm not going to text her Like Obviously,
- 14:41Speaker 1: a wedding is a huge part of your life and
- 14:43Speaker 1: it's like one of the biggest milestones that you have,
- 14:46Speaker 1: and I think it was like very frustrating to have
- 14:49Speaker 1: someone that was a part of my life for a
- 14:51Speaker 1: long period of time and like kind of create a Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I guess there was also more to just the wedding, obviously,
- 14:58Speaker 1: Like there was more to just that, Like there was
- 15:00Speaker 1: things over time that, you know, she chose her job
- 15:03Speaker 1: over her friendships, which is so fine, but she kind
- 15:06Speaker 1: of distanced herself from everybody, like she really was not
- 15:09Speaker 1: trying to create a friendship with anyone, Like as soon
- 15:12Speaker 1: as COVID hit, like she was really just like a homebody,
- 15:15Speaker 1: which again everyone was kind of like in that phase.
- 15:17Speaker 1: But then once she got this job that allowed her
- 15:20Speaker 1: to travel a lot, she kind of just like completely
- 15:23Speaker 1: forgot about everyone in our friendship circle and didn't make
- 15:25Speaker 1: the effort to seeing people, and like I would reach
- 15:27Speaker 1: out and she never really got back to me, and
- 15:30Speaker 1: so there was just like a lack of effort in
- 15:32Speaker 1: both ways. So I mean, obviously friendship breakups are never
- 15:37Speaker 1: easy and it's not easy to deal with, but I
- 15:39Speaker 1: think it's always important to keep your head high and
- 15:41Speaker 1: always be the bigger person and just you know, if
- 15:44Speaker 1: you see that person, don't feel uncomfortable in that situation.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I think it's important just to be like, hey, how
- 15:49Speaker 1: are you, how are things Like at the end of
- 15:50Speaker 1: the day, you can still have a civil conversation and
- 15:52Speaker 1: see how they are and all that. We don't need
- 15:54Speaker 1: to create any drama by avoiding the person completely and
- 15:57Speaker 1: just almost creating a scene by not doing anything right,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Like I still would welcome her to a conversation, but
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know, now that the friendship isn't there, I wouldn't
- 16:05Speaker 1: go out of my way to like I don't know,
- 16:08Speaker 1: like yeah, connect her to like my birthday party or whatever,
- 16:11Speaker 1: like having a girl's night like I probably wouldn't.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I know for me, And I don't know if anybody
- 16:16Speaker 2: else can relate to this, And I know Kaylee will
- 16:19Speaker 2: know exactly what I'm talking about, But I feel like
- 16:24Speaker 2: for me, throughout my twenties, I've personally grown a lot.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And one thing that I used to do that I mean,
- 16:31Speaker 2: i'd say I still do, but not as much anymore,
- 16:37Speaker 2: is I kind of let people walk all over me
- 16:41Speaker 2: a bit. I'm not very I'm not the most confrontational person,
- 16:45Speaker 2: and that's something I'm working on and I'm growing and
- 16:48Speaker 2: learning about that and what that means for you know,
- 16:52Speaker 2: what I want and a friend and in a friendship.
- 16:54Speaker 2: But I think at the beginning of my twenties, I
- 16:58Speaker 2: had friends who kind of took advantage of my kindness
- 17:03Speaker 2: and that I didn't really appreciate. And it wasn't even
- 17:09Speaker 2: me who would see it, but it was the people
- 17:11Speaker 2: that I loved who would see it, like Kaylee would
- 17:13Speaker 2: always talk about that. My mom would always bring that
- 17:16Speaker 2: up to me, and I think over the course of
- 17:19Speaker 2: my twenties, as I was growing and maturing, I realized that,
- 17:23Speaker 2: you know, that wasn't a healthy friendship, and that's not
- 17:26Speaker 2: what I wanted in a friendship, because friendships are about,
- 17:31Speaker 2: you know, growing together and being there for each other,
- 17:34Speaker 2: and you were standing up for each other. It's not
- 17:36Speaker 2: about you know, putting someone down, belittling them, taking advantage.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And friendships them doesn't mean that it's like you have
- 17:44Speaker 1: to constantly see each other like every week and all that.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Like I have friends who don't even live here, who
- 17:49Speaker 1: live in other parts of Canada, and you know, I
- 17:52Speaker 1: always just try and make sure I make the effort
- 17:54Speaker 1: at least like every few weeks, just to like touch base,
- 17:57Speaker 1: saying hey, how are you, how are things? Like we
- 17:59Speaker 1: should do a face time call. Like it's just like
- 18:01Speaker 1: those little things of putting in the effort. So my
- 18:03Speaker 1: friend is in a different phase in her life. She
- 18:06Speaker 1: just had a baby boy, and you know, I know
- 18:08Speaker 1: having a kid has been a part of her whole life.
- 18:10Speaker 1: So I don't want to you know, feel like we
- 18:13Speaker 1: have to see each other every week, because I know,
- 18:14Speaker 1: like that's a whole different world for her right now.
- 18:17Speaker 1: And we'll touch base on the pressure of you know,
- 18:19Speaker 1: having kids and all that and just the pressure of
- 18:22Speaker 1: being in your twenties in the next question. But what
- 18:25Speaker 1: I've realized is that, like I don't need to see
- 18:27Speaker 1: her every week or every single day in order to
- 18:30Speaker 1: like maintain our friendship at the end of the day,
- 18:32Speaker 1: as long as you guys are both making the effort
- 18:34Speaker 1: and seeing each other and like making the time for
- 18:36Speaker 1: each other, even if again it's just a FaceTime call
- 18:38Speaker 1: or whatever, Like, I still think that creates a strong
- 18:40Speaker 1: bond in a friendship. And then making friends in your twenties,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I definitely think is something that I've recently done and
- 18:48Speaker 1: I think I've mentioned it here on the podcast, But
- 18:50Speaker 1: I've made a lot of friends through just workout classes
- 18:53Speaker 1: and finding people who have so much in common with
- 18:56Speaker 1: me as well, which is so nice and so refreshing,
- 18:59Speaker 1: because you know, I have my friend group that I
- 19:02Speaker 1: enjoy being with, but I think we're friends for you
- 19:04Speaker 1: have friends for different reasons, and I think that's another reason.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But I think also to kind of touching on like
- 19:10Speaker 2: you know, as Kaylee mentioned, making friends through you know,
- 19:15Speaker 2: going to workouts and stuff like that. I know for
- 19:17Speaker 2: me and I know for Kally as well. All of
- 19:19Speaker 2: our long time friends have been made through sports that yes, yes,
- 19:24Speaker 2: growing up. So who knows, maybe there's a sport that
- 19:27Speaker 2: you are thinking about joining or an activity that you're
- 19:31Speaker 2: thinking about doing with especially.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Well I think that's another example, right, So it's like
- 19:35Speaker 1: if me going to workout classes is like kind of
- 19:38Speaker 1: considering my going to an activity. That's why I'm creating
- 19:42Speaker 1: a bomb with someone. So if you're the kind of
- 19:44Speaker 1: person that maybe doesn't like to work out, but you
- 19:46Speaker 1: like sports like playing tennis or pickleball or soccer or basketball,
- 19:50Speaker 1: join a team. I'm sure you'll meet a you know,
- 19:52Speaker 1: a friend through.
- 19:53Speaker 2: There where you guys both have already, like how Kaylee
- 19:56Speaker 2: was saying, sometimes we get so busy with our li
- 20:00Speaker 2: that we don't really have the time to hang out.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Majority of the time when I see my friends, it's
- 20:06Speaker 2: at a soccer game or it's at a workout studio
- 20:09Speaker 2: where it's like, you know, you're not really it's not
- 20:12Speaker 2: really a hangout like where it was planned. But you're
- 20:14Speaker 2: still seeing each other and able to like maybe get
- 20:17Speaker 2: coffee after, do something after.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But I think this is like, that's what a reality
- 20:21Speaker 1: of spending time with friends, because as you get older,
- 20:24Speaker 1: your life gets busy. Work becomes a priority, family becomes
- 20:27Speaker 1: a priority, like living life in general. In your twenties,
- 20:31Speaker 1: it's not like when you were when you were eighteen
- 20:33Speaker 1: or when you're seventeen, where you know, after school you
- 20:35Speaker 1: can like, Okay, come over, like let's hang out, let's
- 20:38Speaker 1: do homework together. It's not the same anymore, right, So
- 20:42Speaker 1: doing these little activities and hobbies like working out or
- 20:45Speaker 1: going on walks together, anything that like you can get
- 20:48Speaker 1: coffee together, yes, exactly. I think that's like the key
- 20:53Speaker 1: thing to friendships is finding those little things that you
- 20:55Speaker 1: can do together to maintain it or find new friends
- 20:58Speaker 1: by doing these things. So I said, like, we have
- 21:01Speaker 1: met a lot of girls through the workout classes, me
- 21:03Speaker 1: and Madison, which has been super fun. And we've actually
- 21:06Speaker 1: gone out to dinner together. We've done coffees together, smoothie
- 21:09Speaker 1: runs together like after workouts or you know, we'll just
- 21:12Speaker 1: all try and figure out a day that works for
- 21:14Speaker 1: everyone for us to go you know, go out for
- 21:16Speaker 1: dinner together and obviously like it's not something that happens
- 21:19Speaker 1: every month, but like the fact we're all trying to
- 21:21Speaker 1: make the effort of doing it ever so often, like
- 21:24Speaker 1: shows that we care for each other and that there's
- 21:26Speaker 1: something there, like there's a friendship being created. So it's
- 21:29Speaker 1: really nice to like have friends for different occasions and
- 21:32Speaker 1: different for different things and all that. And it's fun
- 21:36Speaker 1: to meet new friends and it feels like.
- 21:38Speaker 2: It's exciting too. And I think like especially with like
- 21:41Speaker 2: I know, for me with workout classes, I never wanted
- 21:46Speaker 2: to do them starting out, only because I was so
- 21:48Speaker 2: scared to go myself. And I feel like when you
- 21:51Speaker 2: start going and you meeting people friends and yeah, create
- 21:56Speaker 2: these friendships, it almost makes you excited to go workout
- 22:00Speaker 2: class is because it's like you're not alone anymore. You
- 22:03Speaker 2: have people to talk to and honestly don't be scared
- 22:07Speaker 2: to like be the first one two hundred percent yourself
- 22:10Speaker 2: at a new workout.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Remember Ange, when there was a girl at my pilates
- 22:13Speaker 1: class who literally was wearing the exact same outfit as me,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and I went up to her.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I started up on after and I was like.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, I have the exact same outfit and
- 22:20Speaker 1: she started to laugh, and then you know, we started
- 22:22Speaker 1: talking about the workout brand and how we both loved it,
- 22:25Speaker 1: and you know, brought up other conversations and then you know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: the next workout class, it didn't It didn't feel awkward
- 22:30Speaker 1: because I approached her and she's like, hey, how are you,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and like, oh, I love your workout set today again
- 22:35Speaker 1: brings up a new conversation. So don't be afraid to
- 22:37Speaker 1: go speak to something.
- 22:38Speaker 2: It just makes you excited. I think when you build
- 22:41Speaker 2: those relationships and you create those friendships, it'll make you
- 22:44Speaker 2: excited to start going more.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And also, don't ever put an age to a friendship either,
- 22:51Speaker 1: like guys, yeah, I'm twenty nine and I think all
- 22:55Speaker 1: my friends are like twenty six, twenty seven, twenty five,
- 22:59Speaker 1: twenty four, or like I think once you're in your twenties,
- 23:03Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. We're all at the same maturity level.
- 23:05Speaker 1: We're all you know, we are at different phases in
- 23:08Speaker 1: our life. But I still don't think it really impacts
- 23:10Speaker 1: the friendship at all in my opinion. Like again, I
- 23:12Speaker 1: have one friend who's married and has a baby, and
- 23:14Speaker 1: then I have another friend who just got out of
- 23:16Speaker 1: university and who's trying to find a job.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Like, it's totally okay to.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Have different friends at different age ranges and anyways. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: just want to make that clear because I do think
- 23:23Speaker 1: sometimes there's like, yeah, this yeah sense of pressure of
- 23:27Speaker 1: having to be friends with people like the exact same
- 23:29Speaker 1: age or in the same phase and all that. But
- 23:30Speaker 1: like you can have friends for different reasons and for
- 23:32Speaker 1: different things and not let that impact.
- 23:34Speaker 2: You, Yeah, different points in your life.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So that brings us into the next conversation, which is
- 23:39Speaker 1: about the external pressures of being in your twenties. And again,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I think me and Madison both have two different pressures
- 23:46Speaker 1: in her life right now. I think the pressure for
- 23:48Speaker 1: Madison is finding a career, right, like she just finished
- 23:51Speaker 1: university and like, I'll let you touch on that part.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah. No, So, as I mentioned, I just finish my masters,
- 23:59Speaker 2: and I feel like your twenties it's a very difficult
- 24:04Speaker 2: time in the sense that you're figuring everything out. You're
- 24:08Speaker 2: figuring out your life. You're kind of figuring out through
- 24:11Speaker 2: school maybe what exactly you want to do with your life.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So I know, for me right now, I just feel
- 24:18Speaker 2: this almost like Kille mentioned an external pressure, you know,
- 24:23Speaker 2: to have my shit figured out, yeah, in a way,
- 24:27Speaker 2: and sometimes it's not that easy. And so right now
- 24:31Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out a career path for myself.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I know what I like, I know what my interests are,
- 24:37Speaker 2: but sometimes it's hard, you know, to find a perfect
- 24:40Speaker 2: job out there that suits exactly what you want. So yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 2: right now I've been trying to navigate that. And not
- 24:48Speaker 2: just with like career, but I think or in the
- 24:52Speaker 2: career space, I think there's a lot of like different
- 24:55Speaker 2: kind of pressures that come with, for example, relationships and
- 24:59Speaker 2: being in a relationship like I have been single. I'm
- 25:03Speaker 2: not single anymore. I was single for the majority of
- 25:08Speaker 2: your twenties, majority of my twenties. Yeah, I did not
- 25:10Speaker 2: get my first boyfriend until I was twenty five. So
- 25:14Speaker 2: to anybody out there who's twenty three, twenty four and thinking, oh,
- 25:18Speaker 2: I've never had a boyfriend, I'm right there with yeah. Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And I did not get my first boyfriend until I
- 25:23Speaker 2: was twenty five, and I definitely had a lot of pressure.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I felt like, oh, you know, a guy's not gonna
- 25:30Speaker 2: want to date me if I had never been in
- 25:32Speaker 2: a world.
- 25:32Speaker 1: And then I felt so bad because like I feel
- 25:35Speaker 1: like she'd always come to me with advice, and like
- 25:37Speaker 1: I was like the worst person to ask for advice
- 25:39Speaker 1: because I've been with this I wasn't the best because
- 25:41Speaker 1: I've been with the same person since high school. So
- 25:43Speaker 1: it's like I can't even like, you know, I'm like, okay,
- 25:46Speaker 1: go on the dating apps and like yeah, friends of friends,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and like I know that's not always the way that
- 25:51Speaker 1: it works out, but you know, I was hard to
- 25:53Speaker 1: like help her out when like all I could really
- 25:55Speaker 1: do is just be her motivational support of like, hey,
- 25:57Speaker 1: you're gonna find someone, Like it's gonna be out, like
- 26:00Speaker 1: just give it.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Time and like we'll know.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I would say for.
- 26:03Speaker 2: That, though, like the best advice I could give is
- 26:07Speaker 2: that not to compare yourself together. Everybody's on their own timeline,
- 26:12Speaker 2: everybody's on their own life path, and I would much
- 26:18Speaker 2: rather wait until I'm thirty however old I am, to
- 26:23Speaker 2: be with the right person, then waste my time with
- 26:27Speaker 2: the wrong ones. Agree, don't feel like you need to
- 26:30Speaker 2: rush to get into a relationship if it's let's say
- 26:33Speaker 2: you're rushing to get into relationships and that it doesn't
- 26:36Speaker 2: feel right with like like I said, I'd much rather wait,
- 26:40Speaker 2: you know, because that then that way I know I'm
- 26:42Speaker 2: with the right person percent.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And like with Zach, you know, we have been together
- 26:47Speaker 1: for twelve years, but I don't want anyone to seem
- 26:49Speaker 1: like it was a perfect twelve years for all twelve years,
- 26:51Speaker 1: Like every relationship goes through it's bumps, and you know,
- 26:55Speaker 1: we had times where like we never really grew apart,
- 26:58Speaker 1: but like we always found a way to like figure
- 27:02Speaker 1: stuff out.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Like what Zach and I are really good at in
- 27:05Speaker 1: our relationship is that we constantly communicate with each other.
- 27:07Speaker 1: If there's something that's wrong, we communicate. And I think
- 27:09Speaker 1: that's what allowed us to stay together as long as
- 27:12Speaker 1: as we have is because you know, we would say,
- 27:16Speaker 1: you know, this is not working out in terms of
- 27:18Speaker 1: whatever the situation was, and we would communicate that to
- 27:20Speaker 1: each other and then it's like, Okay, that person makes
- 27:23Speaker 1: the effort to make those changes. You know. Here's a
- 27:25Speaker 1: random example, Like my husband was playing too much baseball.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I was like, okay, you're playing. It was like it
- 27:30Speaker 1: was like or think of maybe your husband or your
- 27:32Speaker 1: boyfriend playing too much golf.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I was like okay.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It was like five days a week after work, right,
- 27:36Speaker 1: And this is when I was working a job at
- 27:38Speaker 1: the time, and the only time you really get to
- 27:40Speaker 1: see each other is after your job. So you know,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I said to my husband, I said, you got to
- 27:44Speaker 1: figure out the balance between our relationship and you playing
- 27:47Speaker 1: sports or playing golf or whatever the case a week,
- 27:48Speaker 1: because I'm like, it's not gonna work if I'm only
- 27:50Speaker 1: seeing you once or twice a week because you decided
- 27:52Speaker 1: to dedicate all this time playing sports. So I communicated
- 27:55Speaker 1: to him that I'm like, we need to make a
- 27:56Speaker 1: change in this because it's not going to work out
- 27:59Speaker 1: this way if you keep doing that. And he's like,
- 28:00Speaker 1: you know what, You're right, So then he cut it
- 28:01Speaker 1: down to three nights a week, and I said, perfect,
- 28:03Speaker 1: that's more reasonable. You still get to do what you love,
- 28:06Speaker 1: and you know, I get the pro of us getting
- 28:09Speaker 1: to be together and it creates the relationship to be stronger.
- 28:11Speaker 1: So I think that's kind of like a situation where
- 28:14Speaker 1: you know, it's important to communicate in the relationship in
- 28:17Speaker 1: order to maintain it. So anyways, at the end of
- 28:19Speaker 1: the day, I do think there can be challenges in
- 28:20Speaker 1: a relationship, but as long as you guys can work
- 28:22Speaker 1: through it. I think it's important to always just communicate
- 28:25Speaker 1: and always say your honest thoughts and feedback on how
- 28:27Speaker 1: to resolve a situation. And I think that's really what
- 28:30Speaker 1: maintains a long, healthy relationship.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I feel like that's how you also know, like I
- 28:35Speaker 2: was saying that it's the right person.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Exactly that well, and I think that's kind of where
- 28:39Speaker 1: I was trying to go into the conversation, was like
- 28:41Speaker 1: I knew that Zach was my person because like we
- 28:44Speaker 1: were able to work through any little hiccup or any
- 28:47Speaker 1: little issue that you know, we communicated about and were
- 28:50Speaker 1: able to get through it. So I think that's a
- 28:52Speaker 1: huge part of knowing when the person is the one.
- 28:56Speaker 1: But I think for me right now, of course, like
- 28:57Speaker 1: Madison was bringing up the pressure of just like finding
- 29:01Speaker 1: a career and like making the decision on what one
- 29:03Speaker 1: she feels is like the best for her, Whereas for me,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, I'm in my late twenties
- 29:09Speaker 1: where like I feel like I have my shit figured
- 29:10Speaker 1: out and i feel like I'm in the right career
- 29:12Speaker 1: path and I'm going down the right direction. But when
- 29:15Speaker 1: it comes to like other friends like having kids right
- 29:18Speaker 1: now and all that, Like obviously, for me, like it's
- 29:22Speaker 1: such a weird situation because it's like I think I'm ready,
- 29:24Speaker 1: but then I don't think I'm ready, and then I
- 29:26Speaker 1: feel like I have so much that I still want
- 29:28Speaker 1: to do, and like, I don't know, I think it's
- 29:30Speaker 1: okay to like not compare yourself again bringing up what
- 29:32Speaker 1: Madison said, it's important to not compare yourself because we're
- 29:35Speaker 1: all on our own timeline and to not rush anything.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And I think everyone, at least from my own personal situation,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I think everyone kind of has their own little checklist
- 29:45Speaker 1: of things that like they want to complete in their life.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And like for me, you know, there's some people that
- 29:49Speaker 1: may want to have kids immediately where after they get married,
- 29:51Speaker 1: but for me, like I always envisioned like having another
- 29:54Speaker 1: house and you know, maybe traveling a bit more and
- 29:57Speaker 1: you know, figuring out my career more. And you know,
- 30:00Speaker 1: I didn't really want to rush into things. Of course,
- 30:02Speaker 1: Like I am starting to get a bit of baby fever,
- 30:05Speaker 1: which is good and I think healthy because I think
- 30:07Speaker 1: I may have mentioned it in the beginning of this year.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I definitely feel like I was more scared to like
- 30:13Speaker 1: go into parenthood and I still am. It's not like
- 30:15Speaker 1: I'm not I'm still you know, scared to enter that
- 30:17Speaker 1: phase of my life because obviously there is a lot
- 30:20Speaker 1: of change when it comes to that. But I do
- 30:22Speaker 1: think I've gotten a bit less scared, which I'm really
- 30:25Speaker 1: happy about that because I can already tell I'm growing
- 30:28Speaker 1: and changing as I age in a good way and
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm going in the right direction. And that if you know,
- 30:33Speaker 1: kids are starting to excite me versus scare me, that's
- 30:35Speaker 1: already a good sign of you know, going into a
- 30:38Speaker 1: new decade of my thirties next year. So I don't know,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I think everything's going in the right direction. And I'm
- 30:43Speaker 1: just again not trying to compare myself and just really
- 30:45Speaker 1: just focus on what my goals are and what I
- 30:48Speaker 1: want to, you know, achieve for myself. And I think
- 30:51Speaker 1: that's the best approach, is just really just knowing that,
- 30:54Speaker 1: you know, you just kind of got to tell yourself
- 30:56Speaker 1: that you're on your own timeline and that you have
- 30:58Speaker 1: things that you want to do, and that don't let
- 31:01Speaker 1: these people on social media think that you can have
- 31:03Speaker 1: kids after thirty, because that is not the case at all.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I know so many people who have had kids at
- 31:07Speaker 1: thirty two, thirty four, thirty six, Like there is really
- 31:10Speaker 1: no time frame, but like, again, you have to also
- 31:13Speaker 1: want kids when you want them, because I think if
- 31:16Speaker 1: you don't want them at that time in your life,
- 31:18Speaker 1: it's almost going to be the wrong decision because you
- 31:20Speaker 1: felt like you just did it just because like you
- 31:23Speaker 1: need to want the kid in your life. You need
- 31:26Speaker 1: to want to be a mother in that time because
- 31:29Speaker 1: your life will change completely, and I think you have
- 31:32Speaker 1: to be ready for that change.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I think another thing that kind of touches on
- 31:35Speaker 2: both of the things we talked about is that, you know,
- 31:40Speaker 2: I feel like, at least for me, one thing that
- 31:44Speaker 2: I really struggled with is that I wasn't really just
- 31:48Speaker 2: being happy in the moment. I kind of kept telling
- 31:50Speaker 2: myself because I wanted to be in a relationship and
- 31:53Speaker 2: I hadn't been.
- 31:54Speaker 1: In one yet.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I would always tell it. I was always telling myself, Oh,
- 31:57Speaker 2: I'll be happy when I'm in a relationship, or kind
- 32:00Speaker 2: of like for you, like I feel like people at
- 32:02Speaker 2: your age kind of sometimes like, oh, I'll be happy
- 32:05Speaker 2: when I have kids, you know, and instead just be
- 32:08Speaker 2: happy enjoying life as it is. You have your whole
- 32:12Speaker 2: life to life, your whole life to have a baby,
- 32:15Speaker 2: to have kids.
- 32:17Speaker 1: You only live this age and this time exactly, exactly.
- 32:20Speaker 1: That's what I always say, live it to the fullest.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So, like you have your whole life to have
- 32:24Speaker 2: a baby, to have kids, you also have your whole
- 32:26Speaker 2: life to be with a partner. Right So, if you're
- 32:29Speaker 2: somebody who's single right now and struggling with that, enjoy
- 32:33Speaker 2: it while it is. Be happy while it is. You
- 32:35Speaker 2: have your whole life to find a partner, to be
- 32:37Speaker 2: with somebody, be happy on your own. You know, I
- 32:40Speaker 2: learned so much when I was single about myself throughout
- 32:44Speaker 2: my twenties and things that might not have realized if
- 32:47Speaker 2: I wasn't single. So yeah, I just think that, you know,
- 32:50Speaker 2: you should. You shouldn't try to like almost wish your
- 32:54Speaker 2: life away. Just be happy in the moment, trust the process,
- 32:58Speaker 2: live in the presence, not the future. And I think
- 33:02Speaker 2: that will really help with you know, external pressures if
- 33:06Speaker 2: you're kind of just like living in the moment. And
- 33:08Speaker 2: I always.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Tell the podcast Girly is that I'm very much a
- 33:12Speaker 1: big believer when it comes to what's meant to be
- 33:15Speaker 1: will be. So I it's all about the mindset. It's
- 33:19Speaker 1: all about the mindset, though, Like you need to have
- 33:21Speaker 1: that mindset where it's like you got to just trust
- 33:24Speaker 1: that this is what's meant, this is how it's meant
- 33:27Speaker 1: to be, and that you know good things will come
- 33:29Speaker 1: if you have this positive mindset. If you're thinking negatively
- 33:32Speaker 1: like oh, I'm never going to have a boyfriend or
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm going to hell for the rest of my life,
- 33:36Speaker 1: then if you put that negativity out there that for
- 33:39Speaker 1: all we know, it could happen that way. But if
- 33:41Speaker 1: you start telling yourself that you know, oh no, like
- 33:45Speaker 1: I am going to find the guy at the right time,
- 33:47Speaker 1: or you know, good things will come.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Honestly will happen, You'll be so much happier if you
- 33:52Speaker 2: just take things as you know, any challenge you face
- 33:56Speaker 2: in life, just take it as what's meant to be.
- 34:00Speaker 2: You will be I'm going to figure it out, because
- 34:03Speaker 2: it'll just make life so much easier if you trust
- 34:06Speaker 2: and you have trust that things are going to work out.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You know, don't like and you'll just be so much
- 34:12Speaker 2: happier if you think that way, because you'll know, hey,
- 34:14Speaker 2: it may not be working out today, but it's going
- 34:16Speaker 2: to work out tomorrow. And not day by day.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Yeah, not every day is going to be a perfect day.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But as long as you can always like shift your
- 34:24Speaker 1: mindset and change your perspective on things and like try
- 34:26Speaker 1: and turn it into a positive experience and moment, then
- 34:31Speaker 1: I really do think, yeah, it's all about just shifting
- 34:34Speaker 1: your mindset. Of course, we could ramble on and continue,
- 34:38Speaker 1: and we did have a lot of other questions, but
- 34:40Speaker 1: we are running out of time, but we'll take it
- 34:42Speaker 1: into our next Sip and Spill Sisters Edition episode next month,
- 34:47Speaker 1: So make sure to follow us on Instagram because we'll
- 34:49Speaker 1: definitely do another question box and ask more questions and
- 34:51Speaker 1: do different topics and just always try and keep you
- 34:54Speaker 1: guys entertained. And it's always nice to have someone else
- 34:58Speaker 1: on the podcast and just kind of have little conversation
- 35:01Speaker 1: versus me just chatting away by myself. It's just always
- 35:03Speaker 1: refreshing to get two different perspectives. And I just thought
- 35:06Speaker 1: it was a really good episode series to start with,
- 35:08Speaker 1: getting just having a sister involved in kind of getting
- 35:12Speaker 1: that relatable content there, along with just us giving two
- 35:15Speaker 1: different perspectives of our lives and like being able to
- 35:18Speaker 1: relate to you guys both at different days percent, and
- 35:21Speaker 1: I think it's like really refreshing because I'm sure a
- 35:23Speaker 1: lot of you guys can relate to, you know, Madison's
- 35:26Speaker 1: current situation, my current situation, and I think it's all
- 35:29Speaker 1: just very relatable and yeah, something that you guys can
- 35:31Speaker 1: relate to. So thank you guys so much for listening
- 35:34Speaker 1: to today's episode. If you're new, definitely make sure to
