- 0:22Helens, sending field teams to monitor steam
- 0:25vents, seismic patterns, and evolving crater
- 0:28activity. That coordinated research established
- 0:32new monitoring methods and data collection standards
- 0:35that advanced volcanic science and improved community
- 0:38preparedness. So now you know. And now, it's

- 2:50send you. In local news, the New England Patriots'
- 2:562026 schedule was revealed on Thursday, featuring
- 3:00a tough lineup after last season's surprising
- 3:03run to Super Bowl 60. This year, the team will
- 3:07play both in Germany and on the West Coast, facing
- 3:10eight playoff teams from 2025. including Seattle
- 3:13and Buffalo. With several primetime matchups,
- 3:17fans can expect thrilling games this fall. One
- 3:21highlight will be the season opener against the
- 3:23Seahawks, a rematch of Super Bowl LX, where New
- 3:27England aims to bounce back from a previous loss.
- 3:30As the excitement builds, Boston fans are ready
- 3:33for a memorable season ahead. Now on to sports.
- 3:43Donovan Mitchell called advancing to the conference
- 3:45finals for the first time in his extensive postseason
- 3:49career a breath of fresh air after his Cleveland
- 3:52Cavaliers dominated the top seed Detroit Pistons
- 3:56125 -94 in Game 7 on Sunday night. The Cavs had
- 4:02lost in the second round in each of the past
- 4:04two seasons and had not made the conference finals
- 4:07since 2018. Game one of the Eastern Conference
- 4:11Finals begins Tuesday against the New York Knicks
- 4:14at Madison Square Garden. The 31 -point victory
- 4:18for Cleveland was the third largest of all time
- 4:21by a road team in a Game 7. Mitchell noted they
- 4:24would not be able to exhale for long, saying,
- 4:27we can only breathe for about 12 hours. In local
- 4:31sports, the Red Sox are in Kansas City tonight,
- 4:35taking on the Royals at 740. Sonny Gray gets
- 4:39the ball against Seth Lugo in a matchup Boston
- 4:43needs badly. The Sox sit at 19 -27 after getting
- 4:48embarrassed 8 -1 by Atlanta yesterday. Brian
- 4:53Deo got shelled early, and the offense mustered
- 4:56just one run. They're 2 -5 their last seven,
- 5:00and the division race is slipping away fast.
- 5:04Bray's been solid, but so has Lugo. so this is
- 5:07a pitching duel on paper. Problem is, Boston's
- 5:11not scoring. They gotta find runs in a hurry,
- 5:14starting tonight in Kansas City. The good news?
- 5:18There's hope brewing in the rotation beyond Gray.
- 5:22Young lefties Connelly Early and Peyton Tall
- 5:25are becoming a wicked 1 -2 punch. Early's 3 -2,
- 5:30with a 3 .21 era and 45 strikeouts in 47 innings.
- 5:37Tall's been even better, a 2 .05 ERA with a sub
- 5:41.800 YIP. Against Atlanta's best offense in baseball,
- 5:46they combined to allow just four runs over 13
- 5:49innings. That's the kind of dominant front end
- 5:53that wins in May and beyond, if the bats ever
- 5:56wake up. Meanwhile, the Celtics brought back
- 6:00a legend. Isaiah Thomas is joining the franchise
- 6:03as a pro and college scout based in Seattle.
- 6:07The former All -Star starred here from 2015 to
- 6:112017 before a hip injury derailed his career.
- 6:16He's already working the combine in Chicago,
- 6:18scouting for Brad Stevens' front office. It's
- 6:22a homecoming for one of the best drafts Steele's
- 6:25the organization's ever made. In top news. As
- 6:31college costs climb and skepticism about higher
- 6:34education grows, many Americans question whether
- 6:37a bachelor's degree is still worth the price.
- 6:40A new analysis of Texas public college students
- 6:43shows that long -term, they generally earn far
- 6:47more than those who never attended college, even
- 6:50in liberal arts. On average, college entrants
- 6:53out -earned high school graduates by almost $87
- 6:56,000 over that 15 -year period. even after accounting
- 7:01for college costs. Engineering and architecture
- 7:04majors enjoyed the highest returns, while liberal
- 7:07arts majors outperformed their peers without
- 7:09bachelor's degrees by about $35 ,000. The study
- 7:14indicates that pursuing a bachelor's degree is
- 7:17likely a wise investment. In business news, one
- 7:23of the market's hottest stock themes is buying
- 7:25everything artificial intelligence cannot replace.
- 7:29As investors worry about the companies that artificial
- 7:32intelligence will wipe out, they are rotating
- 7:34into those that artificial intelligence will
- 7:37have a harder time disrupting. The Halo trade,
- 7:41as it is called, is working. Halo, which stands
- 7:45for heavy assets, low obsolescence, was coined
- 7:48by Josh Brown, co -founder and chief executive
- 7:51officer of Ritholtz Wealth Management, in February.
- 7:55Brown believes this trend is one of the most
- 7:58important investment trends of the year. Goldman
- 8:01Sachs and Morgan Stanley have incorporated Halo
- 8:04into their investment research in 2026 as Halo
- 8:08stocks perform well across the board. Some examples
- 8:12include FedEx and ExxonMobil, both up close to
- 8:1530 % since the beginning of the year, while Coca
- 8:19-Cola has risen close to 17%. Halo companies
- 8:23require meaningful hard physical assets to generate
- 8:26revenue, and they're durable. The Roundhill Halo
- 8:30Exchange Traded Fund launched on Thursday and
- 8:34tracks an index screening the largest listed
- 8:36United States companies focused on physical assets
- 8:39and infrastructure artificial intelligence cannot
- 8:43replace. Brown stated on CNDC's Halftime Report.
- 8:48that there is nothing you could type into a large
- 8:50language model that would negatively affect these
- 8:52companies. He mentioned that some of the top
- 8:55holdings in the fund include Cummins, AutoZone,
- 8:58TFI International, CSX, GP Hunt, and Lenox. Roundhill
- 9:04recently had significant success with its memory
- 9:07exchange traded fund, which hit $9 .8 billion
- 9:11in assets in 43 days, the fastest ever for an
- 9:15exchange traded fund. Brown emphasized that their
- 9:18new exchange -traded fund is not a bet against
- 9:21artificial intelligence, but a way to remain
- 9:24invested in a changing world. In crypto movement,
- 9:28Bitcoin is down 5 % over the weekend to about
- 9:32$77 ,000. Ethereum is down 7 % to just over $2
- 9:39,000. And XRP is down 7 % to $1 .38. Moving on
- 9:47to a more local vibe. In our community spotlight
- 9:51on health and wellness, we are working with a

- 9:57classes, so listen up. Check out Club Pilates

- 10:19for a free class. With locations in Canton, Wellesley,
- 10:23Hingham, Brookline, and Framingham, just be sure
- 10:27to tell them sunny morning sent you by. And now,
- 10:32back to the show. Let's talk tech. Apple's Siri
- 10:37revamp could include auto -deleting chats. Privacy
- 10:41will be a major theme when Apple unveils a new
- 10:44version of Siri at the Worldwide Developers Conference
- 10:47in June, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
- 10:50The Siri relaunch is widely seen as Apple's big
- 10:53chance to re -establish its relevance in artificial
- 10:56intelligence. As part of that effort, company
- 11:00executives will argue that they're taking a more
- 11:02privacy -friendly approach than most other artificial
- 11:05intelligence companies. Apple will reportedly
- 11:09launch the first standalone Siri app, powered
- 11:12by Google Gemini, offering users a chatbot experience
- 11:16reminiscent of ChatGPT. Siri could include a
- 11:20feature allowing users to automatically delete
- 11:23conversations after 30 days or one year. And
- 11:29in entertainment news, in the first big deal
- 11:33to go down at the can market, Amazon has swooped
- 11:36on most international rides to Jonathan Bailey
- 11:39and Natalie Portman's psychological thriller,
- 11:42Pumping Black. Set in the competitive world of
- 11:46professional cycling, Pumping Black follows cyclist
- 11:49Taylor Mace, who at 35 years old is finding himself
- 11:53aging out of the sport. He is taken under the
- 11:56wing of Andrea Laith, a doctor driven by her
- 11:59own thirst for victory and power. As the race
- 12:03to the Tour de France progresses, Taylor must
- 12:06take increasingly dark measures to protect his
- 12:08secret. This streaming deal is landing in the
- 12:11early 20s, making it one of the biggest deals
- 12:14at the market. Well, alrighty folks, it's time
- 12:19for the quote of the day. And today, our quote
- 12:23comes from the American physicist and Nobel laureate,
- 12:26Richard Feynman. And he said, The first principle
- 12:31is that you must not fool yourself, and you are
- 12:34the easiest person to fool. And that's a wrap
- 12:38for this morning. You can check out our Instagram,
- 12:42YouTube, and TikTok for some captivating aerial
- 12:46videos with local news and the weather reports.
- 12:50Have an amazing day, my good friends. We'll see
