- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marks them all.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Alone.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 0:09Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 0:13Speaker 1: one zero seven ten AOC. You know, she's been engaged
- 0:18Speaker 1: to this guy for years. You know, normally how long
- 0:22Speaker 1: did you get engaged? A year, year and a half,
- 0:25Speaker 1: six months, and it's been years and years. This guy
- 0:28Speaker 1: doesn't exactly want to pull the trigger there. Well, there's
- 0:31Speaker 1: rumors everywhere now that they broke up, that he left,
- 0:35Speaker 1: that's the word, you know. I remember she made a
- 0:37Speaker 1: big deal out of putting her eggs, freezing her eggs. Now,
- 0:42Speaker 1: that would make sense. If he's leaving and they're not
- 0:44Speaker 1: getting married and she's not gonna have children that way,
- 0:46Speaker 1: freezing her eggs, that would make sense. She lives in
- 0:50Speaker 1: DC and in Queen. She was leaving her Queen's apartment
- 0:53Speaker 1: building yesterday walking her French bulldog. Do you picture her
- 1:00Speaker 1: with a bulldog? Usually the owners, you know that looks
- 1:03Speaker 1: like the dog, They pick a dog similar to them
- 1:06Speaker 1: in personality and temperament. A French bulldog. And what is it?
- 1:10Speaker 1: I know what a bulldog is. What is a French bulldog?
- 1:14Speaker 1: I don't know, but she's walking the dog and they
- 1:17Speaker 1: tried to ask her did you break up with your boyfriend?
- 1:20Speaker 1: And mistransparency won't answer.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Are you and Riley Roberts still together?
- 1:25Speaker 3: I don't comment on my private life, but thank you.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Your mother want such.
- 1:29Speaker 2: She loves Riley and wants to see you guys get married.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Is she going to get her wish?
- 1:34Speaker 3: I can.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't comment on my private life, but thank you.
- 1:38Speaker 2: All right? Is there anything else well you can tell
- 1:41Speaker 2: us about the relationship.
- 1:42Speaker 1: No, I'm think here's a blabbermouth. Never shuts up to
- 1:48Speaker 1: give her your opinion on everything on earth. You ask
- 1:51Speaker 1: one normal question, did you break up with your boyfriend?
- 1:53Speaker 1: I do not comment ever on my personal life. His
- 1:58Speaker 1: name is Riley Roberts. That's the reason right there, to break up.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Can't You can't marry? That's not well, you see, that
- 2:04Speaker 1: would screw up. It's Alexandra of Cassio Cortez. If it's
- 2:09Speaker 1: Alexandra Roberts doesn't sound ethnic enough for her, you know
- 2:14Speaker 1: she's got a I gotta sound something else. Remember, she
- 2:18Speaker 1: claims she was a from the Bronx. She's from the Bronx.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Turns out she's from Yorktown. Heights and you don't want
- 2:24Speaker 1: to be missus Roberts. That's that's too American, too normal. Uh,
- 2:30Speaker 1: Riley Riley Roberts. That's that's not a great name. Anyway.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Let's go to let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 2:36Speaker 1: John and Florida. John, how you doing?
- 2:39Speaker 4: Marked?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Love the Extra Hour? Rita Crossby?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Tell Trump to pick Rita Crossby, she'll pick.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Those waters in line or want to be a two
- 2:47Speaker 2: year job?
- 2:48Speaker 1: And Rita Crosby. Oh, he meets Rita Cosby Cosby. I'm sorry, correct, Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I don't think you can picka. I think I need
- 3:00Speaker 1: somebody a little more you fill in the blank.
- 3:03Speaker 2: There.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well. Thank you. Mark.
- 3:11Speaker 2: There's a report in Deadline which says Barry Diller is
- 3:15Speaker 2: interested in buying CNN. Now, Mark, wasn't Barry Diller the
- 3:19Speaker 2: founder of the Fox Broadcast Network. No?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Oh, well no, he was a big broadcast executive. He
- 3:26Speaker 1: was at ABC for years with the ABC TV network
- 3:28Speaker 1: and It's heyday and then we did a lot of
- 3:32Speaker 1: stuff and when Rupert Murdoch. Rupert Murdoch was the founder
- 3:36Speaker 1: of the Fox Network. He started the Fox Network. It
- 3:39Speaker 1: was I'm not talking about Fox News. He started a
- 3:41Speaker 1: regular TV network and they were going to do primetime stuff.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's you know, Channel five here in New York. And
- 3:48Speaker 1: he then brought in Barry Dillar to run the network
- 3:51Speaker 1: for him, and Dillar did a great job. He did
- 3:54Speaker 1: get you know, when he launched it with Murdoch, they
- 3:57Speaker 1: did come up a lot of big shows. Remember Married
- 3:59Speaker 1: with Children and all that. That kind of puts him
- 4:02Speaker 1: on the map. But he's a very experienced programming guy.
- 4:05Speaker 1: He's run networks before. If he wants CNN, he's the
- 4:09Speaker 1: kind of guy that could fix it up. But and
- 4:12Speaker 1: good question, Dave. But but he's not a news guy.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I don't think he cares about news. If he's gonna
- 4:19Speaker 1: buy CNN, it's probably to do something else, not news.
- 4:24Speaker 1: CNN is a total disaster as a news network. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: the average of viewership at any given time is like
- 4:30Speaker 1: two hundred thousand people. Nobody's watching it. But it's a network.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You could run other stuff on it. You could run
- 4:36Speaker 1: this regular programming on it. Maybe he's got some idea
- 4:38Speaker 1: what he wants to run there. Let's go to David
- 4:41Speaker 1: and Queen's David, how you doing.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, Good morning Mark. This phony Bologne Cortee is
- 4:48Speaker 3: walking around with a twenty five hundred dollars French bulldog.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Someone should tell her is about eight hundred thousand straight
- 4:55Speaker 3: dogs in New York City. And when you go on
- 4:57Speaker 3: her website, I've never seen this before, there is a
- 5:01Speaker 3: warning to people who are going to call the office
- 5:04Speaker 3: that they will be prosecuted if they make any threats
- 5:07Speaker 3: to her or a staffer. And this woman is a
- 5:09Speaker 3: fake phony froust.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Well, if they put that up on the website, that
- 5:13Speaker 1: means they're getting threats all the time.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So right, and there's abstually nothing on the website about
- 5:18Speaker 3: her years spent in Yorktown Heights.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Well, I supposed to mention that she's from the Bronx,
- 5:23Speaker 1: don't mention that she's actually from New Yorktown Heights. But
- 5:26Speaker 1: if they put that up on the website, means they've
- 5:28Speaker 1: been getting a lot of threats. Because if you're going
- 5:30Speaker 1: to call her up the threat in her first place,
- 5:32Speaker 1: she goes to the website to find the phone number.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But the French bulldog, that's interesting. I would think the
- 5:38Speaker 1: French bulldog is kind of embarrassed to be seen with her,
- 5:43Speaker 1: kind of embarrassed to be walking around with her. Let's
- 5:45Speaker 1: go to Max in Manhattan. Max.
- 5:48Speaker 2: How you doing, hello, Mark? Thank you for taking my call.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Why can we not look up all the garbage on
- 5:55Speaker 4: El Saed, all the garbage where it displays his connect
- 6:00Speaker 4: to the Muslim brotherhood and care sure that that would
- 6:03Speaker 4: work to get him out. You can look it up, yes,
- 6:08Speaker 4: but someone like you who would have to put the
- 6:10Speaker 4: word out there at the station.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Uh, we don't sit around all day long looking up Alsai.
- 6:16Speaker 1: There's plenty of bad stuff about him. You know you
- 6:18Speaker 1: don't need to look too far. What did he say yesterday?
- 6:23Speaker 1: He's running against Mike Rodgers, who's a pretty normal, solid candidate.
- 6:28Speaker 1: He threatened him to. Uh, oh, he wants to He
- 6:31Speaker 1: wants a football game, tackle football, no pads. I mean,
- 6:34Speaker 1: he's just a silly guy. It's just silly he wants.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He's the guy who wants to do away with football
- 6:40Speaker 1: fireworks the fourth of July. And he said to Rogers,
- 6:44Speaker 1: since you're afraid to debate me, uh, tackle football, not touch,
- 6:51Speaker 1: tackle football, no pads, like we used to play when
- 6:53Speaker 1: we were kids. I'd be happy to show you how
- 6:56Speaker 1: much I love football.
- 6:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Well, first of all, Rogers not afraid to debate him,
- 7:00Speaker 1: But Rogers would love to debate him, because that would
- 7:02Speaker 1: be probably the end of him. Let's go to Rich,
- 7:05Speaker 1: Myrtle beach. Rich, how you doing hot?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Hot hot? One on nine Monday one fifteen Tuesday, nine yesterday? Well,
- 7:14Speaker 2: what do you do today?
- 7:16Speaker 1: What do you do when it's one fifteen? You just
- 7:18Speaker 1: don't go out?
- 7:18Speaker 2: Right? Well, what happens is it usually hits about one
- 7:23Speaker 2: hundred and four by noon, so you got to leave
- 7:25Speaker 2: the pool and just go in the house and you know,
- 7:27Speaker 2: practice guitar work in the computer or do that kind
- 7:30Speaker 2: of stuff, because you can't shit out here, even in
- 7:32Speaker 2: the shade under the umbrell if there's no breeze, you
- 7:34Speaker 2: just sit here and bake like you're in the oven.
- 7:36Speaker 1: All right. For those of you thinking I'll move to Florida,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I'll move Just where are you? South Carolina? If you're thinking, yeah, Myrtle,
- 7:43Speaker 1: six months a year of this? You want to live
- 7:46Speaker 1: like that? Remember two weeks ago we had to heat
- 7:47Speaker 1: wave here and you couldn't go out. How would you
- 7:49Speaker 1: like a whole six months.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Of that well, it's not six months here. We get
- 7:54Speaker 2: four seasons here, but it's still July in August is brutal.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But you know, maybe two things. Maybe or AOC's boyfriend
- 8:02Speaker 2: has had enough and said, boy, she really is a
- 8:04Speaker 2: whack of doodle. I don't want anything to do with
- 8:05Speaker 2: this anymore, and he left her. And the other thing is,
- 8:09Speaker 2: I went to the gym yesterday morning. Our gas had
- 8:11Speaker 2: kind of creeped down to three thirty one. I left
- 8:14Speaker 2: the gym an hour later and was three sixty nine.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Trump has to do something about the oil companies treating
- 8:21Speaker 2: us like we're fawns. This is Unamerican on oil.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Spent four years of Biden. That's spending four fifty five
- 8:30Speaker 1: dollars a gallon.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but still, come on, O comes down to the gas.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Never comes down the pumpets. Remember a lot of Ryan
- 8:40Speaker 2: gas and oil prices.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You can remember a lot of that is not oil companies.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Like here in New York it's like four fifty a gallon,
- 8:46Speaker 1: But that's the state, local tax, all kinds of government fees.
- 8:49Speaker 1: That's who he really should come down on.
- 8:51Speaker 2: No, we don't have a lot of taxes on a
- 8:53Speaker 2: gas goes up thirty five cents in a couple of hours.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But you've got comfortable with your companies, the oil companies.
- 9:00Speaker 1: The price came down yesterday on oil. In fact, it's
- 9:03Speaker 1: down today. The price, the oil company price came down.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So that's definitely got to be government stuff. You know,
- 9:10Speaker 1: that's one thing the president should crack down on it
- 9:12Speaker 1: during all of this government. In fact, it's the Democrats
- 9:16Speaker 1: yelling about the gas prices. They're the ones causing that spike.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Now the oil companies are pretty bad too, But during
- 9:23Speaker 1: this they should lift all gas tax, just removed. You know,
- 9:25Speaker 1: if they remove all the gas tax right now, let's
- 9:29Speaker 1: say for six months, price of gas comes down a
- 9:31Speaker 1: dollar fifty a gallon, sometimes two dollars a gallon. Right there.
- 9:35Speaker 1: One more call, let's go to Joe and Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 9:38Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark. Our favorite girl, Sandy Cortes. She's not
- 9:43Speaker 5: a bus she doesn't have the mentality to be Sandy Cortez.
- 9:46Speaker 5: A shot girl. That's an insult to the bartender. She
- 9:49Speaker 5: don't have the mentality be at bartench.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So her name was Sandy. It's Alexandra Ocassio Cortez, right,
- 9:55Speaker 1: she was called Sandy, Yes, Sandy, so no wonder she
- 9:58Speaker 1: broke up with this guy. You imagine if she mar
- 10:00Speaker 1: this Riley Roberts. It's Sandy and Riley Roberts. It just
- 10:06Speaker 1: sounds like you're all American couple. This is the last
- 10:08Speaker 1: thing she wants to sound like. Hey, we got a
- 10:11Speaker 1: lot to get to coming up, so don't go away.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Jimmy Falo will be with us a little later. We'll
- 10:17Speaker 1: get to Howard Stern. We'll get to hey, Mom Donnie,
- 10:21Speaker 1: We'll get to the mom Donnie vacation coming up. It's
- 10:24Speaker 1: Mark Simone here every morning nine o'clock. Now the show
- 10:28Speaker 1: is three hours, nine to noon. Every day nine to noon,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and then at noon you got Buck Sexton and Klay Travis.
- 10:36Speaker 1: They do a wonderful show. You'll learn a lot listen
- 10:39Speaker 1: to them noon to three. Then you got the most
- 10:41Speaker 1: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity at three,
- 10:46Speaker 1: got Jesse Kelly at six, you got Jimmy Fayla. Every
- 10:49Speaker 1: night nine to midnight. That is a very funny show
- 10:52Speaker 1: and a very smart show too. You should listen to
- 10:54Speaker 1: it nine to midnight. Here on seven to ten, wr
