- 0:00Joe, what's up? David, a long time is a chance
- 0:03to talk to you guys. So, you know, you were talking
- 0:06earlier what player you would like to see, you know, baseball
- 0:09player. Let me tell you one player I
- 0:11don't want to see, OK? I do not want to see
- 0:15back-to-back games played by 39 year old 18188 hitting Matt
- 0:22Carpenter. What in the world is going on
- 0:26here? Gentlemen?
- 0:27Here's the deal, OK, this organization, you have Brandon
- 0:32Crawford, you have Matt Carpenter, some guy named
- 0:37Fermin. Their bench is an embarrassment
- 0:39to Major League Baseball. Dylan Carlson, Why is he still
- 0:44on the team? What does he do?
- 0:46He doesn't do anything. He's a leader.
- 0:49Because he's cheap. Because they drafted him high
- 0:51and they don't want to admit a mistake.
- 0:53You know it's an. Answer question.
- 0:55But the point being is another disaster.
- 0:58And what does it say? Is anybody else but me not
- 1:01alarmed about Jordan Walker hitting 266 in the minors with
- 1:05two home runs? I mean, this was supposed to be
- 1:09your guy. I'm not going to give up on the
- 1:10guy. But I mean, things are so bad on
- 1:14this team right now, he you can't even bring them up.
- 1:17They're out. I mean, other than thank God for
- 1:20Burleson, Gorman and Wynn right now.
- 1:23Arenado, what's going on there? I mean, Oprah filed again last
- 1:28night. I mean, there are some major,
- 1:30major concerns about this team and they got nothing in the
- 1:34minors. Nothing.
- 1:35No pitching. Where, where, where where is
- 1:38Chrysopolis? Where is he's oh, he's 24 years
- 1:42old, not good enough to make the team.
- 1:44You're putting Palante as your 5th starter.
- 1:46I I've been around a long time guys, Their minor league system
- 1:50must be pathetic that they got nothing besides Carpenter and
- 1:55Clawford and Palante and Siani. These are the guys you're
- 2:00playing, really. And pitching wise, all these
- 2:04guys, the Grisefos of the world, the Mcgreevey's of the world, I
- 2:08think. Mcgreevey's horrible this year.
- 2:09Well. That's what I'm saying, like
- 2:10there's no depth at AAA. Back in the day, they used to
- 2:15always bring somebody up from AAA who all of a sudden could
- 2:18give you a start and be good or or be a good reliever.
- 2:21And that that's why you see what they did with Libertor where
- 2:24they gave him a couple starts and even Palante, it's early,
- 2:27but all of those things, they're doing that because they don't
- 2:30have any rotation depth whatsoever.
- 2:33All of these high draft picks over the last couple years, none
- 2:36of them have panned out. No, and and that's why Mozilla,
- 2:40you know, needs to move on that this organization have ever
- 2:44needed a first set eye to be this one.
- 2:46I mean, Jesus Christ, I mean, come on, what what more do we
- 2:48need to see here? I mean, everything is just look,
- 2:51they're they're lucky in their division they're in.
- 2:53We all know that. But but the last thing I will
- 2:56say is everything I just said the way Wind's going and
- 3:00Gorman's going and Burleson's going, if our two quote UN quote
- 3:04stars, Goldschmidt and Aaronato were doing anything at all, this
- 3:08team would be over 500. Thanks.
- 3:11All right, big dogs here. That's Big Joe right there.
- 3:13You know what? He don't play around.
- 3:14He's spinning facts. He's spitting straight facts.
- 3:16Everything he said was true. That's Joe.
- 3:19So this is Mcgreevey's third full year, or well, I mean,
- 3:23obviously it's not a full year yet, but this will be because
- 3:25I'm not going to count the half year after he got drafted after
- 3:28he was playing college baseball. But this is year three for
- 3:31Mcgreevey in the minor leagues and he's got a 5.54 ERA at AAA.
- 3:37And that's actually better than I thought it was because it was
- 3:39previously a lot worse. And he?
- 3:41Also doesn't have the type of electric arm that you could
- 3:44transition to the pen. You know what I'm saying?
- 3:47Like sometimes if you if you draft a righty that throws 98,
- 3:51you can say, all right, we want this guy to be a starter.
- 3:53But if it doesn't work out, OK, he can be hopefully a high
- 3:56leverage reliever. I don't think Mcgreevy's even
- 3:58that. I'll have to look up Gracefo and
- 4:01see what he's been up to, but that's not very inspiring.
- 4:05Last I looked was the guy. I always pronounced his name
- 4:08incorrectly. Semra Bears.
- 4:09Roberts. Robersa.
- 4:12Is it Roberts? I thought it's Roberts say Jose
- 4:15Locke said it the other day. I know.
- 4:16Everybody pronounces it different.
- 4:18But he's having a good year last night.
- 4:20Look. And then Graceffa's got a 4.42
- 4:22ERA too, so that's not not horrible, no.
- 4:25But even you can throw in Zach Thompson into the mix of this
- 4:29conversation. You can throw in Libertor to the
- 4:32mix. You don't usually draft first
- 4:35round starters, guys like that. And we're saying, OK, Libertor's
- 4:40a nice reliever, but also you traded Randy Rosarena for him.
- 4:46Zach Thompson was a late first round pick, I believe, out of
- 4:49Kentucky, correct. So you have a lot of, I mean,
- 4:52Mcgreevy was a a first round pick.
- 4:54There's a lot of guys who are not really contributing much at
- 4:58all at the big league level. That's a shame.
- 5:01And let's do, just for fun, a little Victor Scott update
- 5:03What's even up to the AAA level 215 batting average?
- 5:07So need I say less? What's going on down there,
- 5:10Charlie? Moises Gomez too, a name we
- 5:12haven't heard in a while. 188 batting average.
- 5:15Congratulations, you're on the unemployment line soon.
- 5:17Remember last year though, people were like Moises Gomez,
- 5:20he'd come up here and hit 40 bombs and he gets DFA and I
- 5:24don't think anybody picked him up and people were saying that,
- 5:27well, I think. Didn't he have?
- 5:29The year, How many homers did he have?
- 5:30The one year in the minors did he have 40?
- 5:34I am looking it up soon. All I'm saying is it doesn't
- 5:36translate. There's a big gap between AAA
- 5:38and the majors. There's a lot of guys who are 4A
- 5:40players and they just can never come up here and do anything
- 5:44similar in the big. League 39 he.
- 5:46Had 39 bombs what, two years ago?
- 5:48Yep. And then didn't nobody pick him
- 5:50up? And then had 30 last year as
- 5:52well. Well, that's.
- 5:56Odd and. Then one more just for fun.
- 5:58Luke and Baker, let's figure out good old looking where the heck
- 6:01he's at all right? So obviously he's a power
- 6:03hitter. So you know, his average on can
- 6:04be very good. I don't know if you're expecting
- 6:07224 bad, but his OPS is with that 224.
- 6:13Average is still 852. For fun.
- 6:16How many home runs? 14 So he's not going to cover
- 6:19off the baseball when he makes contact, but.
- 6:22For fun it. Appears that he's not doing much
- 6:24of. That I'm going to tell you about
- 6:25a player who's known as the King, a famous Toledo mud hen.
- 6:30True story. His name is Mike Hessman.
- 6:34Heard of this name? Mike Hessman played in the
- 6:37majors from 2003 to 2010. So over five years he only
- 6:41played 109 games. He never played more than 32
- 6:44games in a season. He hit fourteen career home runs
- 6:50in the major leagues with a 188 batting average.
- 6:54Let me show you his minor league stats in the minors.
- 6:59How many home runs does this guy have in the minors?
- 7:03Trying to find. Basically, he's the king.
- 7:06He's the king of minor league home runs.
- 7:09I mean, he hit 2030 home runs every single year.
- 7:12Why can't I find this total? It's not as good without the
- 7:16total, but my point is this is a guy who hit 253035 home runs
- 7:20every single year in the minors and couldn't do anything in the
- 7:24big leagues over several chances.
- 7:27Really. Oh my God, 433. 433 career minor
- 7:34league home runs think about and he couldn't do anything in the
- 7:37big leagues and that's how big the difference is between AAA
- 7:41and the big. Leagues.
- 7:42Look at this. 433 home runs in the minors, 14 in the majors.
- 7:47Damn dude, you just can't you, you can't swing that just a
- 7:50little. Bit quicker.
- 7:50That's basically Moises Gomez, yeah.
- 7:52Well, yeah, and his batting error was was crap too.
- 7:55It was only 233. I think at the end of his career
- 7:57he was almost a player. Coach.
- 8:00Toledo, Montana. I think he was the manager at
- 8:03one point. How many home runs do you think
- 8:05Aaron Judge will have at the end of the year?
- 8:07What's he got, 27 now? That dude.
- 8:09He's got 27. Dude, he's crushing it.
- 8:12Something like that. Something like that.
- 8:16Aaron Judd. He's got 27 now.
- 8:18Damn. I'm that almost sounds way too.
- 8:22Impossible 21. 21 my bad. But still well.
- 8:24I mean. No, but.
- 8:26As close to. That six extra I, I, I screwed
- 8:28that. Up, that's all right. 21 in
- 8:30June, 62 games. So he's averaging 1/3 of a home
- 8:36run a game. Would you like to take on his
- 8:38contract for what he brings to the table, Charlie?
- 8:41If I'm the Yankees. No, if you're the Cardinals.
- 8:46I mean the answer is yes, but is, is the last couple years
- 8:51going to look good? No.
- 8:52How much money? He pays for 50.
- 8:53Five. How much money are you going to
- 8:55make off that guy? He's hitting 55 bombs.
- 8:57He's 6 foot eight. Like, how much money would the
- 9:01Cardinals make off of Aaron Judge?
- 9:03But to me, it's more about the Cardinals need to be good.
- 9:06So if Aaron Judge helps them to be good, and I'm talking about
- 9:1195 wins, but you don't need Aaron Judge necessarily to be
- 9:15good, right? I mean, look, if they had Aaron
- 9:18Judge, clearly it helps. But also you need a starter
- 9:21totally. Maybe you need 2 starters?
- 9:23But but OK, if Aaron Judge was on this here team now, would
- 9:28that place be packed every night?
- 9:31That's a good question. I think another good question is
- 9:34if you had, if you had Aaron Judge, I agree with you to this
- 9:37team, how much better are they? Like, and this is going to be
- 9:40crazy for me to even analogize this to Mark McGuire, but in
- 9:451998, what were the Cardinals doing as far as like, because
- 9:48all I hear about is the 90s were the down years, but they they
- 9:52turned it around eventually. Tony turned it around.
- 9:55Cool. Everybody was watching Mark
- 9:56McGuire in the late 90s. Were the Cardinals winning?
- 9:58No. Were they winning that?
- 10:00No, no. But everybody listen.
- 10:02Everybody on earth was. Everybody on earth, everybody
- 10:06was fixated on that man every single day.
- 10:09It was the lead story of every news program.
- 10:12I'm talking about the nightly news.
- 10:13I was like, I was like 1516. Dude didn't care about baseball
- 10:16at all. And he was everywhere.
- 10:18We're sitting down as a family watching not, you know what I
- 10:21mean? Like it was so big.
- 10:23They only won 83 games that year.
- 10:25I did not know that. Packed every night dude.
- 10:29So here's. The Big Bopper I.
- 10:30Think if they had Aaron Judge? Well, first of all, they'd be.
- 10:32They'd be a little bit better. No.
- 10:35I don't think one guy, no matter who he, unless he's like Ohtani,
- 10:38who can pitch to, well, we'll see if he can pitch, you know, 2
- 10:41Tommy Johns. I don't know, but I don't think
- 10:43just one guy, even the best guy, just drop him into a line of it.
- 10:46All of a sudden they're 15 games better.
- 10:48I don't think it's that simple. But hold on, I'm.
- 10:49Just talking. I'm just talking about bringing.
- 10:51Yes. Fans, interests, excitement.
- 10:54Yes. The year Judge won the MVP I got
- 10:59to find it here. I'm pretty sure his WAR was
- 11:03better than Otani's as a two way player which is insane for that
- 11:07to happen. So right now Aaron Judge's WAR
- 11:10for 2024 through 60 something games is 4.2.
- 11:13Isn't it fair to say the Cardinals have some replacement
- 11:16level outfielders? So is it fair to say the
- 11:19Cardinals would be about four games better if they had Aaron
- 11:23Judge? I think that's fair.
- 11:24Yeah, and there are they. That puts them above 500, but it
- 11:27doesn't make them, doesn't make them the Phillies by any means.
- 11:32Who would you? Who would you want to?
- 11:33Watch one game above 500. But as a fan to spend money to
- 11:36go see live, who would you rather see do their thing?
- 11:40Aaron Judge. Or Michael Cion No.
- 11:42No, no, no. Or yeah.
- 11:43Or Bryce Harper. Man, I love Bryce Harper.
- 11:46God. Dang, he's fun.
- 11:49To me also, Bryce Harper brings an edge and he brings an
- 11:52attitude, which Aaron Judge. Aaron Judge is great, but he's
- 11:56kind of kind of soft spoken, just does his thing.
- 11:59Harper. Harper gets fired up he bat.
- 12:02Flips. He freaking flips his hair.
- 12:05He gets, he gets after umps. Yeah, he does crazy things, like
- 12:09he's emotional. He'll show his emotion, which I
- 12:11like too. Bryce Harper also swings angry,
- 12:14so even when he misses the ball, it's a lefty.
- 12:17There's something I, I don't want to say intimidating because
- 12:20I don't think baseball players are intimidating.
- 12:22No, no, no, I'm sorry. Tommy Pham, shadow boxing, put
- 12:25himself in the corner. Albert Bell.
- 12:27OK, not too many baseball players are intimidating.
- 12:30Well, maybe Carpenter. Actually was, but.
- 12:33Maybe big boy. This is it's just because there
- 12:37aren't that many fights. Your team gets in like one fight
- 12:40a year, maybe two those. Those aren't fights.
- 12:43Yeah, there's one punch drone, dude.
- 12:44Bryce Harper's war is 2, so Aaron judges over double that.
- 12:48OK. Yasiel Puig was intimidating.
- 12:49That dude would fly off the handle.
- 12:51But anyway. But back to the discussion.
- 12:54There's something like angry with the way that Bryce Harper
- 12:57swings. Damn right that just captivates
- 13:00you. It makes you interested.
- 13:02That dude looks like he is trying to knock the laces off of
- 13:06the baseball every single time he swings, so he'd.
- 13:07Be the most exciting put besides we're putting a Tony aside, but
- 13:10Bryce Harper's number one that you'd like to see.
- 13:12You would pay extra money to go down and even if they weren't
- 13:15that good, just to watch that dude play, he's like #1.
- 13:18That's a good question. Right now, who else is really,
- 13:23really exciting? I dude Otani's like one of the
- 13:26best haters in the league. We're not he's not in it.
- 13:30We're just we're, we're, we're 'cause he's #1 probably.
- 13:32But right now it's a fair conversation because he's not
- 13:35pitching. Are we just talking about one
- 13:36player to make the Cardinals more interesting?
- 13:38More interesting, not when just like you would spend the money
- 13:41to go watch this particular player play, even if the team
- 13:44was not that good. You don't have to starting
- 13:45pitching, you know your base running's bad, but you got
- 13:48freaking this guy and I love watching him play.
- 13:50Who is it? It's Otani.
- 13:52Then it's hard for for me, OK. And then who?
- 13:55Well, he's. Soto, he's hurt now I'm a huge
- 13:59Ronald Acuna junior fan and and he can steal bases.
- 14:04He was, did he have 40 and 70 last year?
- 14:06Forty home run, seventy stolen bases, something like that.
- 14:08So I'm a huge Acuna supporter. He tore his ACL, so he's done
- 14:12for the year. But Soto's really interesting,
- 14:16in part because he's a free agent at the end of the year,
- 14:19and it's going to be a payday like you.
- 14:21What is it going to be, Cole? What's he going to be?
- 14:23Making 500 minimum woo doggy, well, I mean that's in total.
- 14:27So if his woo doggy, if his contract's like 13 years, that's
- 14:29different than, you know, 500 over like nine years.
- 14:32And he's super young. Yes, he he came up at like 19
- 14:36years old. Figured it out quick.
- 14:38So yeah, he, he, he's been a big deal.
- 14:41How old was he when the when the Cardinals played him in the
- 14:43postseason? I think maybe it turned 20.
- 14:46Didn't he come up as a 19 year old?
- 14:48Yeah, he was grabbing his crotch and kind of doing his Dang at
- 14:52the plate, you know a guy. Who's kind of been really
- 14:54bursting onto the scene, too is Bobby Witt Junior with the
- 14:57Royals. That's who I was going to say.
- 14:59So he's a short bopper, shortstop.
- 15:02Does it all athletic? Yeah.
- 15:04Runs. I think he's just a well-rounded
- 15:06baseball player. I'm sure Power's a part of his
- 15:09game. Juan Soto right now is 25.
- 15:14Damn. Man, so.
- 15:15He's about to hit free agency. He turns so his birthday is
- 15:19October 25th. So you're going to get.
- 15:21Him. Oh my gosh.
- 15:22Starting at age 26. I can't remember telling you
- 15:26free agents like when players hit their first free agency it
- 15:29is usually 28 to 32 years old. And so you want to get like the
- 15:3428 year olds, 26 years olds, unheard of.
- 15:36And look at this. Because they didn't even want
- 15:37him up at that young of an age, 'cause he's 'cause in this the
- 15:40IT kind of that's why he's and free agent in a younger age.
- 15:43But he was so good. But that's what I mean.
- 15:44He was that good to where like, we have to play the dude.
- 15:47And they were all in because it was a World Series year.
- 15:49No, that was the next year. Oh, I'm sorry, he.
- 15:52Was up in 18/20/18 as a 19 year old and hit 22 bombs and slugged
- 15:58500 over on base over 400 second in a rookie of the year.
- 16:02The next year when they won the World Series he played 150
- 16:05games. He was ninth in the MVP in his
- 16:08age 20 season. 500 million, dude.
- 16:11So think about it for you. He's making 31 million this year
- 16:14in arbitration. So if you just say what you
- 16:16said, Cole, which is let's just say it's a 13 year deal, which
- 16:20is probably going to happen, he'll have a million opt outs.
- 16:22Don't get me wrong, he'll have an opt out probably like every
- 16:25two years, but 31? Hold on a second, 31 * 13 feels
- 16:30like about 500, doesn't it? 31 * 13 equals.
- 16:35That's 403. So.
- 16:37But he's making 31. Hell, he's probably going to
- 16:39make a 35. Jacob, Jacob Ole asked.
- 16:42Jacob degrom, injury prone. Jacob degrom is making
- 16:4535,000,000 a year, so we can bump that up a little.
- 16:47Bit pitchers starting pitcher AAV is a little different.
- 16:51What's the highest AAV? Is it Trout?
- 16:53Right now or a. Position player on a long deal.
- 16:56I was actually waiting for you and Matt Wendler to be on the
- 16:59same day as so because I, I don't think that you'll go
- 17:03research this and ruin the fun, but I was going to ask you kind
- 17:07of like put together a list of all the people who have been the
- 17:11most high. I shouldn't say most highest
- 17:13'cause that's obviously redundant.
- 17:15But putting together a list of people from 2000 to now in Major
- 17:19League Baseball, who has been the highest paid baseball player
- 17:24in the league? OK, hold on various trouts.
- 17:27I explained. That in AAB of 35.5 Jesus Trouts
- 17:31deal is 426.5 million / 12 years.
- 17:35So that's about 36 million a year and I think Aaron Judge was
- 17:38right around that. Aaron Judge is 9 years 360
- 17:44million. So what is that?
- 17:4643699 times 4. That's a nice, clean 40.
- 17:51And he's way older. He came up old.
- 17:55Yeah. So so so.
- 17:57Yeah, he came up at like 25. He.
- 17:58Went to college too, so if Aaron Judge gets 40 a year, Soto's
- 18:02going to get 40A year. So what's forty times?
- 18:0530 more than. That.
- 18:06So let's say he gets, let's say he gets 42 AAV times 13.
- 18:12That's 546. My God.
- 18:14So I bet you he gets. The minimum.
- 18:16It's going to start with a 5 because also he's a Boris guy.
- 18:20That's going to be a huge deal for the first contract to start
- 18:22with A5. It's going to start with A5.
- 18:24They're going to. They're going to find a way for
- 18:26it to start with the five guaranteed.
- 18:28Wow. So they're only going to be like
- 18:305 teams talking to them because that's how this goes.
- 18:33Actually, you know what they're, they're actually what teams.
- 18:35There are more big spenders in Major League Baseball than you
- 18:37actually think. They're like eight of them.
- 18:39But both New York spent a lot of money.
- 18:43They do. And basically the entire
- 18:44universe thinks that it's going to be the Mets because the Mets
- 18:47kind of punted on this year a little bit.
- 18:49And they also have a lot of money tied up in both Verlander
- 18:52and Shirzer, who are pitching. Yeah, who are pitching for other
- 18:54teams, I might add. But everybody thinks it's going
- 18:58to be the Mets just because that guy is willing to spend the most
- 19:01money. Cohen is The Yankees spend a lot
- 19:03of money. The Rangers spend a lot of
- 19:05money. Dodgers, if he wants to ruin his
- 19:07career. The Angels like to spend a lot
- 19:09of money now. It always ends up they're.
- 19:11Going to touch that. Yeah, they're going to.
- 19:13They're going to try to the Dodgers.
- 19:16Just keep in mind a lot of Otani's money is going to be
- 19:20spent like 10 years from now. Yeah dude.
- 19:22So the Dodgers are in the mix. It's going to be Yankees.
- 19:25The Blue Jays have been spending a lot of money lately.
- 19:28But he can't, here's the deal. Where's he going to play?
- 19:30He can't have an amazing season with the Yankees and then the
- 19:34Yankees let him walk. They just, I'm not saying the
- 19:37Mets won't won't up the price, but I would be, I would be very
- 19:40surprised if it's not the Yankees.
- 19:42But how? Steinbrenner just came out and
- 19:44said their current payroll situation is not sustainable.
- 19:47To me, I mean, do you really believe that the Yankees are now
- 19:52crying poor? Come on now.
- 19:54Well, maybe not poor, but not as rich.
- 19:58But even if they scale it back just a little bit.
- 20:01I just, I don't, I don't buy that.
- 20:03Meaning they're not going to be super in on the Soto.
- 20:06Sweepstake. It's a lazy take, but I think
- 20:08it's going to be the Mets just because that guy Cohen has been
- 20:13proven that he really does not spare expenses.
- 20:16What position does he play? Corner outfield.
- 20:18So who would who would he beat out if the Dodgers one of them?
- 20:22Who's their outfield? Well, hell, Mookie Betts just
- 20:25moved in. TE Oscar Hernandez, who's pretty
- 20:27good. He's on a one year contract, so
- 20:29he's coming off. Who the hell?
- 20:33They just played the Pirates last night.
- 20:35I should know who there. Come on, Cole.
- 20:36He might get a 15 year deal, 15 years would take him to age 40.
- 20:41They're they're paying. Bogart's just went to Year 41.
- 20:44That's what I'm saying. But what they're doing is
- 20:46they're doing that to lower the AAV for, for the competitive
- 20:50balance tax, whatever they're calling it.
- 20:52Essentially they're saying OK, instead of a 10 year deal, we'll
- 20:56stretch it out so that it eases our payroll year to year.
- 21:00If one guy makes a big difference, Mike Trout has not
- 21:03helped. The Angels.
- 21:04Eastside Steve, Mike Trout and Ohtani and they kind of went all
- 21:07in. Was that two years ago?
- 21:09Too. No.
- 21:09Last last year. It was last year right now,
- 21:11which was foolish. No.
- 21:13Contractors win with the two big boys.
- 21:15They know that one's gone. Yeah, why not go all in?
- 21:18I actually at the time, I'm like, good for you.
- 21:20And then nothing. I mean, they lost.
- 21:21Well, they kind of didn't know that Ohtani was gone.
- 21:25It was kind of like he could go, but maybe the angels will still
- 21:30be in the mix because they, like I said, Angel liked to spend.
- 21:33But don't you appreciate what they did last year?
- 21:35Like we got these two guys? I mean, let's try to get what
- 21:38they try to sign a pitcher they try to do.
- 21:39This. Why not do it for the whole
- 21:41time, though? They've never had pitching.
- 21:44I don't know, going back to Poo Holes, they signed CJ Wilson.
- 21:47I mean, you've had amazing players.
- 21:49I know Poo Holes was the second-half of his career, but
- 21:51you had Poo Holes, you had Shohei.
- 21:54You have Mike Trout, who's been their best pitcher over that
- 21:57span, besides Shohei, who's been the Angel's best pitcher.
- 22:01One year, a guy named Matt Schumacher.
- 22:05That tells you a lot. Yeah, I, I, it's been like
- 22:07Griffin Canning and, you know, RIP Tyler Skaggs.
- 22:11It's been a bunch of just like, random dude.
- 22:12What? Happened with him.
- 22:13Oh, overdose. I think drugs and throwing and
- 22:16choking on his vomit. There it is, Cole.
- 22:18I think. And you know what?
- 22:19Happens. Then there was a.
- 22:20Huge deal about who getting the drugs and there was a trial
- 22:22about that, Yeah. So that was a big story a few
- 22:25years ago. Story Oxycontin.
- 22:27And he was 'cause you, when you, you puke on it and it's and, and
- 22:31you're, you're so tired where you just choke.
- 22:33Just just, a lot of heroin addicts die from it too.
- 22:36You know, you choke. You choke on your puke, dude.
- 22:38Like Andrew Haney. God, Andrew Haney.
- 22:41Who's now on hell? Is it the Yankees?
- 22:46I don't know. We'll check on that. 12 hours in
- 22:49this heat, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Give me your guy's best pump up
- 22:52songs of the week. I'm only a day two of five.
- 22:56I put 22,000 steps in a day in the heat last week.
- 22:59Pretty good for a big bag of milk.
- 23:02Cucker Tarlson man. Good for you dude.
- 23:04You're working your ass off outside.
- 23:06What do you do by the way? Now I'm curious. 22,000 steps.
- 23:09Wow man, he's bright. You work outside, man, in this
- 23:13heat. See these guys doing
- 23:15construction, doing the asphalt ceiling.
- 23:17Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Good for you, man.
- 23:19We sit here like jackasses and Cole and I are like, I'm hot,
- 23:23I'm cold. Yeah, I put in the work.
- 23:26We all put in the work. Afterwards.
- 23:28No, no, no. What do you do?
- 23:29We all put in the work. I've been grinding five mile
- 23:32walks slash lifts. Yeah, I know.
- 23:35So that takes me up to like 2 1/2 hours minimum.
- 23:37This guy every day doing his thing, dude.
- 23:39So I do like a like a four day cycle thing and I don't know if
- 23:43this is the proper way to do it, but I kind of just made it up on
- 23:45my own. So it's back and biceps, then
- 23:50it's legs, then it's chest and triceps, and then it's cardio
- 23:56day, which is like just it's either a just jumping rope or
- 24:00jump ropes. Do it.
- 24:01And the heat, Yeah, you jump rope like an outside.
- 24:04What about shoulders? Big time.
- 24:06Shoulders goes with chest and tries.
- 24:08That's a lot. And then ABS are on the leg days
- 24:12and the cardio days. That's a good system dude.
- 24:15Absolutely. You just gotta.
- 24:15Keep doing it. Hey, the the last time I went
- 24:17home, my youngest brother was like noticeably more in shape
- 24:20than me. Like I would try to play
- 24:21basketball. Wait.
- 24:22Wait, wait, wait. I'd.
- 24:23Try to play pick up basketball with him.
- 24:24That that sends a message. No one looked at you, 'cause
- 24:26you've been gone for a while and said, damn Cole, you look good.
- 24:29No one said that in your. Family.
- 24:30His brother looked better than him.
- 24:32Like way better. No one said.
- 24:34That's eye opening. Isn't it you work that?
- 24:36Inspired you, didn't it? Oh, it sure.
- 24:38Did super motivated you? Yeah, so I, and when I go home,
- 24:42I eat whatever I want because I'm like, all right, I, I'm not
- 24:45on my usual schedule. I can break some rules.
- 24:48And so I'm trying all the new things in my parents pantry that
- 24:51I haven't seen. Are they good cooks?
- 24:54Yeah, I mean, they don't cook often.
- 24:56What about your dad does he cook for?
- 24:58You a good. Cook for my dad's.
- 25:00My dad's a Big Breakfast cooker he's big on like breakfast
- 25:03omelets, breakfast sandwiches. So everybody gets omelets and
- 25:06you get some grill, Yeah. He gets the grill.
- 25:09I got a the porridge. I got a lump of coal on my
- 25:11porridge. Porridge.
- 25:14Yeah, it's the Greg. Sir, may I have some more?
- 25:16What is it? May I have another?
- 25:18What is it? I want some more.
- 25:19Can I get some more porridge? Can I have some more porridge?
- 25:23Man, what movie recording? I don't.
- 25:24Feel like it's a of, is it like Natty Gann back in the day
- 25:27Christmas movie? Speaking of Chitty Chitty Bang
- 25:29Bang, I think it's a movie like that.
- 25:31Oh yeah. I wasn't there.
- 25:32Was like a a A Christmas movie. Not some old gruel.
- 25:36The the kid did POA.
