- 0:00Speaker 1: Why do I know what your naked ass looks like.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's one more thing. One more thing? Is that two
- 0:11Speaker 1: coarse for you? That was coarse before I get to
- 0:16Speaker 1: the coarseness. Do you realize we're suffering through a quandemic
- 0:22Speaker 1: run near quandemic? As the front page USA Today today.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Pandemic that's a pandemic with four diseases going on in once, flu, covid,
- 0:30Speaker 1: R S V, and neurovirus. That's three, okay, four all
- 0:35Speaker 1: at the same time. They're near pandemic level, So it's
- 0:38Speaker 1: a pandemic.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Is one of those bird flu is that is that
- 0:42Speaker 2: the rs I don't know.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Flu, So we might have a quintemic.
- 0:49Speaker 3: It's out of huh many humans are getting the bird flu.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I might have it. We'll talk more about that on
- 0:57Speaker 1: the Armstrong and Getty radio show. Before the podcast we're
- 0:59Speaker 1: talking earlier about UH, had to quick try to find
- 1:05Speaker 1: somebody to fix a leak in the roof, and like
- 1:07Speaker 1: I just googled it. I mean like as an emergency,
- 1:09Speaker 1: I just quick googled a company and they had five
- 1:11Speaker 1: star reviews and I had to come out and guy
- 1:13Speaker 1: comes out who speaks no English, Russian or Ukraine or
- 1:17Speaker 1: something like that, Like he's using his phone, like he
- 1:19Speaker 1: talks into his phone and then his phone would do
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Google translator and say, what is the problem? Go
- 1:24Speaker 1: back forard, Like you know this is not the handiest
- 1:29Speaker 1: for me. It was my first thought, Hey, he didn't
- 1:32Speaker 1: have a ladder, so you wanted to know if he
- 1:33Speaker 1: could borrow a ladder and then got a ladder, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: then he needed help getting down off the roof.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Well, ladders are so seldom needed in roofing, you wouldn't
- 1:41Speaker 4: expected guy care.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You can just jump. I'm just I'm amazed that. So
- 1:47Speaker 1: it's a company where they got somebody who answers a
- 1:49Speaker 1: phone and then he said, like, we got some guys
- 1:52Speaker 1: in your area, we'll send one out. So you've like
- 1:54Speaker 1: you've put in the effort to have like a number
- 1:56Speaker 1: and a system and you're trying to run a company.
- 2:01Speaker 1: How do you not everybody have a ladder? Are you
- 2:05Speaker 1: with me? Okay, go out there. I mean, I just
- 2:07Speaker 1: don't understand how places aren't better. I guess it always
- 2:11Speaker 1: blows my mind that people don't try harder or they
- 2:14Speaker 1: aren't they just aren't better. Yeah, I don't know what
- 2:18Speaker 1: that is.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Uh, that's Jack's rule for the year, Places be better,
- 2:24Speaker 2: Places be better.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah, as you know, I'm dealing with a situation like
- 2:30Speaker 4: that where it's just the very most basic aspects of
- 2:34Speaker 4: courtesy and communication or are not happening.
- 2:37Speaker 1: So I guess my question was, is it is it
- 2:39Speaker 1: an incompetence thing and like this is the best some
- 2:42Speaker 1: people can do and that's just life. Or is it
- 2:47Speaker 1: a they don't care, they just don't care? Is it
- 2:49Speaker 1: a don't care? Is it apathy or ignorance? I don't know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and I don't care are one of our favorite all
- 2:56Speaker 1: time things, but it might be a I don't know.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I just had an experience where some but he came
- 3:00Speaker 2: out to do some work on my house on the outside,
- 3:03Speaker 2: and I did a little walk around and noticed they
- 3:06Speaker 2: broke two of my little statues in the backyard and
- 3:08Speaker 2: knocked a piece of stone off the front of my
- 3:11Speaker 2: house and propped it up against the wall and left.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And said nothing. Yeah.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So now I'm kind of like dealing with like do
- 3:18Speaker 2: I call them.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Like, hey, he broke my house, right, Yeah? And the
- 3:21Speaker 1: chance that you're going to get a satisfactory result out
- 3:24Speaker 1: of that is probably low.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you were doing something that had to do with
- 3:27Speaker 2: my yard and somehow damaged the wall of my house.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They're going to say, no, we didn't.
- 3:32Speaker 4: It was like that when we were there. Have you
- 3:35Speaker 4: paid them yet?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's all said and done, and I didn't.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I yeah, I didn't notice did the delayed walk around? Unfortunately,
- 3:42Speaker 2: when I noticed one thing, I'm like, I have a
- 3:44Speaker 2: feeling that's not just one thing.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Look, I'm not going to suggest you do anything specific.
- 3:50Speaker 4: I'm just gonna mention a couple of words and you
- 3:53Speaker 4: take it from there.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Okay, brick window.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So to my teas of what was my teas? Why
- 4:06Speaker 1: have I seen your naked ass?
- 4:07Speaker 3: Or something like oh yeah, yeah, that's horrifying.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I can't wait to get to this. Well, it's I
- 4:13Speaker 1: guarantee I'm not the only person who's had this happen.
- 4:16Speaker 1: They recommend that if you're hiring well practically anybody really,
- 4:21Speaker 1: but I'm hiring sitters in a college town tends to
- 4:25Speaker 1: be college girls. Everybody recommends check their social media to
- 4:30Speaker 1: try to get an idea, you know, whether or not
- 4:32Speaker 1: you you know, you check their references, you check their
- 4:34Speaker 1: social media, that sort of stuff. This has happened multiple
- 4:38Speaker 1: times where I'm hiring the college girl. I meet her,
- 4:40Speaker 1: she comes to my house dressed in normal clothes and
- 4:42Speaker 1: everything like that, like a normal person. And they and
- 4:45Speaker 1: in this case, they've turned out to be incredibly responsible, great,
- 4:50Speaker 1: everything you'd want sitters. But I go to the social
- 4:52Speaker 1: media and I see them in ways that I don't
- 4:57Speaker 1: need to know that is there. There should be. I
- 5:00Speaker 1: don't know how you would do this. There should be
- 5:02Speaker 1: some sort of social media. This is for the people
- 5:03Speaker 1: who want to hire me social media for the people
- 5:06Speaker 1: that want to date me. This is my social media,
- 5:08Speaker 1: and there should be two different versions. I don't know.
- 5:11Speaker 1: To see you in a thong bikini with your back
- 5:14Speaker 1: toward me, bent over in the pool, and then I
- 5:17Speaker 1: have to greet you with.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Star Do you have those links? Handy?
- 5:20Speaker 1: No, Joe, stupid, don't do that. I'm not criticizing it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That's fine. You're a twenty one year old girl. That's
- 5:27Speaker 1: what you're supposed to do with your life and whatever.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I guess now, showing your naked ass is what you're
- 5:36Speaker 4: supposed to be doing.
- 5:38Speaker 2: The thong I have been a twenty one year old
- 5:40Speaker 2: girl and did not do that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Well, some do, some don't. But again I'm not judging
- 5:44Speaker 1: that at all. Incredibly responsible and professionally dressed at my house.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I only know this because I went to the social media,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but that's what they recommend, and there was nothing on
- 5:52Speaker 1: there that was like a red flag in terms of
- 5:54Speaker 1: wanting to hire them or whatever, and all the reference
- 5:56Speaker 1: was good and they've been good, so I have no complaints. OK,
- 5:59Speaker 1: it's just feel weird that I've seen your ass just
- 6:03Speaker 1: words me.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Out that's on you, that says you've said that sounds
- 6:06Speaker 4: like a you problem.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I think this would make it more comfortable, just casually
- 6:10Speaker 2: bring it up in conversations.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So what about this picture? Yeah, confront him with pictures.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be like, so what is this? Where were you?
- 6:17Speaker 1: And why this is?
- 6:18Speaker 3: Hey? That looks like a really cool beach. Where is
- 6:20Speaker 3: that that?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the way I do it. That's the way
- 6:24Speaker 1: I do it. That's lamp. That lamp over there? Do
- 6:26Speaker 1: you have any idea where I would get that? Because
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's a cool lamp.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that would fit in beautifully. Here you can see
- 6:32Speaker 3: like an inch of the beach.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's just all as where was that? This sand looks
- 6:38Speaker 1: very nice and solid. Yeah, you're right, not everybody goes
- 6:42Speaker 1: that far. But it's fairly common though. I mean, I've
- 6:45Speaker 1: had a quite a few sitters over the last five years.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It's pretty damn common. Certainly a bikini shot that's almost guaranteed,
- 6:53Speaker 1: almost guaranteed, you're gonna see them in a bikini, And well,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I find that weird. My dad never saw any of
- 6:59Speaker 1: we had like two babies my whole life, but I
- 7:01Speaker 1: guarantee you my dad never saw pictures of them in
- 7:03Speaker 1: a bikini.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I have been on beaches, both coasts,
- 7:08Speaker 4: various lakes, Tahoe, et cetera. And yeah, that's sort of
- 7:13Speaker 4: where the tiny bikini, the butt floss whatever is is
- 7:17Speaker 4: fairly common. Oh yeah, I wouldn't make a big deal
- 7:19Speaker 4: of that.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I didn't, and I'm not. I just think it's weird
- 7:22Speaker 1: that I've seen this. I wish there was a way
- 7:23Speaker 1: I could not.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think wearing the bikini versus taking a photo of
- 7:30Speaker 2: yourself in it and putting it on the internet is
- 7:32Speaker 2: two very different.
- 7:35Speaker 3: We have, Katie, let me step in here, please.
- 7:40Speaker 4: We have a society that overvalues a woman's physical form,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and so young women get the idea that that's an
- 7:46Speaker 4: important measure of their womanhood, and if they happen to
- 7:50Speaker 4: be like what's the term crazy hot and in the
- 7:53Speaker 4: best shape they'll ever be in in their lives, they
- 7:56Speaker 4: might want to, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Display that little you're blaming in the patriarchy.
- 8:00Speaker 3: I am.
- 8:01Speaker 5: I am quite quite so, yes, yeah, uh yeah, I
- 8:05Speaker 5: mean i'd like you'll see it overthrown, guilty is charged.
- 8:08Speaker 5: There may be a bikini or two photos out there
- 8:13Speaker 5: of you, uh huh yeah, but I was twenty one
- 8:16Speaker 5: and I'm never gonna look like that again.
- 8:18Speaker 3: So exactly.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, like I said, I'm not condemning it. It
- 8:22Speaker 1: just seems like, well, it's an interaction that didn't used
- 8:25Speaker 1: to exist, but between employer employee when it comes to
- 8:29Speaker 1: hiring a sitter, no doubt. I have another question.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Is it a photo with intention to be provocative or
- 8:36Speaker 2: is this just like she was on the beach with
- 8:38Speaker 2: her friends.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Hey, we're I'd say it's more of the latter than
- 8:41Speaker 1: the former. He can't help but be provocative if you're
- 8:44Speaker 1: hot in a long Yeah, I mean, it's just no
- 8:47Speaker 1: matter what you're doing.
- 8:48Speaker 3: And provokeing disease.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You could be filling out your taxes, it's still kind
- 8:52Speaker 1: of provocative.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Actually, that's double hot to me. Wait a minute, you
- 8:56Speaker 3: look like that and you're good at doing taxes. Here's
- 8:59Speaker 3: a ring.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Just think about it. Well, I guess that's it. God
- 9:08Speaker 1: dang it.
