SPEAKER_00: Good day for a parade.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_00: I think they had one downtown this morning.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_00: It should be just about over with.
• 0:50
  SPEAKER_00: It's 11:30 now.
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: So uh the rodeo is officially underway with the parade.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_00: Uh they had a little uh I think uh jogging 5K run or something.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then uh all the bands and the the wagons, the horses, everything is all headed over to NRG Stadium Center for uh night number two hangover.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly, after the barbecue event.
• 1:16
SPEAKER_00: And the barbecue event concludes this evening, and tomorrow they use it as a cleanup day, and then the rodeo starts on Monday.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's the way the schedule is.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, very cool.
• 1:24
SPEAKER_00: Next uh two, three weeks, uh it'll be rodeo time.
• 1:27
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_00: All right, uh, let's do our car review now.
• 1:31
  SPEAKER_00: Mr.
• 1:31
  SPEAKER_00: Mars has one.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_00: Yes, Mars has a car review.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_00: Hope I didn't catch you off guard, Mike.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_00: Uh it's the Ford Expedition.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_00: I never catch you off guard, do I?
• 1:41
  SPEAKER_04: I got it, Mike.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_04: Not hardly, more than once or twice a day.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_04: So, yeah, so I had the chance to drive the 2025 Ford Expedition.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_04: Now, this is the King Ranch version that we had, and uh it is the new for 2025.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_04: It's been was redesigned in 2025, and it actually kicks off the fifth gen of the new expeditions.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_04: So its final assembly location is in Kentucky, USA, which I thought was kind of strange.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_04: We don't usually see them in uh for some reason they're all Mexico or Canada or somewhere.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_04: Anyway, so it comes in seven trim levels.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_04: You got the active, you got the max active, which is the longer extended version, the platinum, the max platinum again, the extended version.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_04: The trimmer is more of an off-roady type vehicle, and then the King Ranch and the Max King Ranch.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_04: And we were driving the King Ranch.
• 2:31
  SPEAKER_04: So this is a full-size three-row vehicle.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_04: Seven people, and uh so for this year, again, it's new for 25, but the most of the changes were on the interior and in the technology.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_04: There were a few modest updates on the exterior.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_04: Uh, it does have LED headlights up front, of course.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_04: It's got an active air dam, it's got the signature grill lighting and taillights that really look cool at night.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_04: And the signature grill, uh, I mean, the um it's got some power deploying running boards that work really well.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_04: They're they're pretty quick to kick out.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_04: You can open the door, and they're generally there by the time you want to step on it.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_04: You don't have to wait on them.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_04: And I thought that was really good.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_04: It has the uh prof panoramic view roof.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_04: Now, this is the roof that opens up all the way back down and uh lets in lots of sunlight.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_04: It rolls on some nice 22-inch bronze aluminum wheels.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_04: They've got a bronze look to them because of that King Ranch, and then it looks different.
• 3:26
SPEAKER_04: And overall, I like it because it's got a nice professional, I guess you'd say classy look to it because of the lines on it, and we had the black, so it was definitely there.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_04: On the interior, we had the Mesa Del Rio leather trim seat.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_04: Really nice to sit in, comfortable.
• 3:41
SPEAKER_04: Has the 24-inch driver info display.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_04: Now, this thing is massive, it goes all the way across there.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_04: It's got a 13.2-inch center stack touchscreen that kind of ties into it to control all your infotainment and uh your convenience controls.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_04: The second row, we had the heated and power folding tip and slide bucket seats, captain chairs, whatever the proper term is these days.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_04: Really, again, really nice and comfortable to get in and out of.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_04: The third row is a 402040 flex folding.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_04: Now, this is a power folding seat.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_04: I didn't make it that far back because I can't tell you how comfortable they are, but they look pretty good.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_04: And the technology, again, they did a lot of things uh on the technology for this vehicle.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_04: It's got the blue cruise, and then and it also has the Ford Copilot 360 2.0, it's got the wireless charging pad, it's got the touch screens, and it had the B and O unleashed 22 speaker audio system.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_04: I tried to figure out what it would be like to leash, but I couldn't find that part.
• 4:40
SPEAKER_04: Up under the hood, it has a 3.5 liter V6, it provides it with the power, and I will say that it does provide it with plenty of power.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_04: It was very responsive for a very large vehicle, and it's not a race car.
• 4:52
SPEAKER_04: Never intended to be a race car.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_04: Uh it does have a 10-speed automatic transmission and properly equipped.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_04: It will tow 9,600 tons.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_04: Now the EPA says in the city you're looking at about 15 miles to the gallon, highway 22, combined 18.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_04: I drove the vehicle 220.3 miles a week and I had it, and I got 16.8 miles per gallon average over the course of that week.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_04: Um, and again, it does respond quite well to the throttle out on the highway, passing around town.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_04: And I also felt like driving it, I was honestly impressed because it manages the road really well.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_04: Like whether you're out on the highway, you're in town, and I really enjoyed the steering in it.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_04: A lot of people I saw some things where people said the steering wasn't very responsive.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_04: I thought it was, particularly the turning radius.
• 5:38
SPEAKER_04: It seemed like I was driving, or it felt like whenever I was turning the steering wheel, I was driving a much smaller vehicle, and I really liked that part of it.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_04: Now, the base trim price for a vehicle like this is 83,655.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_04: You gotta remember we're driving the King Ranch edition, so it's in the upper levels of the trim range.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_04: It was 8565, which didn't have very many options.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_04: Uh uh, King Ranch has a lot of things built into it.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_04: Of course, you can get into an expedition, which a lot of people do look at it because of that active, which is uh kind of like a volume leader, if you will.
• 6:16
SPEAKER_04: A lot of people buy that because it's$64,995.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_04: It's still not cheap by any means, but now you're talking about a seven-passenger full-size SUV vehicle.
• 6:25
SPEAKER_04: If you're looking for something to compare this to, you might look at the Chevy Tahoe.
• 6:29
SPEAKER_04: $59,000 for the base entry level to get into that.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_04: I've always liked the Tahoe, but I also think that after driving this for a week, I can definitely see you need to look at both of them.
• 6:39
  SPEAKER_04: Nissan Armada,$57,520.
• 6:42
SPEAKER_04: It's been updated recently, but it's definitely something you'd want to look at.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_04: And if you go across to the Toyota Sequoia, this is a hybrid.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_04: It's the only way you can get it now.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_04: So it's going to be a little more expensive at$62,425.
• 6:55
SPEAKER_04: But I firmly believe uh, again, after driving it, if you're looking at a full-size three-row SUV, this expedition really should be one of them that you include in your search.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll tell you what.
• 7:17
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, it is.
• 7:17
  SPEAKER_04: It's it's nice.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_04: But but but you don't have that big car feel.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_04: That's what I was really surprised at uh, you know, like some of the big three rows, you know, you're driving a big monster truck.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_04: It didn't feel that way.
• 7:29
  SPEAKER_00: Wow.
• 7:30
SPEAKER_00: Well, if you remember way back in the day, you know, basically all they did back in the day, back in the day, which is a long day ago, they took a truck chassis and kept everything the same underneath and put a body on the entire truck chassis and just left it alone.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_00: They don't do that anymore.
• 7:49
SPEAKER_00: Uh it's all custom made for carrying passengers and not loads of gravel in the back of it or something like that.
• 7:57
SPEAKER_00: So it really, if you've not driven one in a long time, I would say go check it out.
• 8:03
  SPEAKER_00: I think you'd be surprised.
• 8:04
  SPEAKER_04: I I was very surprised with it, so I I agree.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: And congratulations and uh thank uh Ken Peabody for giving you some cars.
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_00: I like it.
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_00: Some stuff.
• 8:13
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, good stuff.
• 8:14
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_00: Uh I've got some news stories that I'm gonna stick in here.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: You had something that you wanted to go right ahead.
• 8:20
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_00: Um speaking of Ford, buyers of the Ford Mustang Mach-E uh now have to pay extra if they want to put some junk in the frunk.
• 8:30
SPEAKER_00: The 2026 model of the electric crossover no longer offers a front trunk as standard equipment.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_00: Instead, it's a$495 option, though the starting price of the vehicle has been lowered$150 to make up for the lost underhood storage.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: We were learning that customers were using the frunk, but perhaps not as much as we had originally intended, according to Teddy Ankeny, Ford's Mustang Maki brand manager.
• 8:59
SPEAKER_00: He was telling the electric duo on YouTube.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_00: So, in order to kind of preserve that customer choice, they made it optional for the 2026 model year.
• 9:09
SPEAKER_00: Ford, Tesla, and other automakers have long touted the utility of their electric vehicles' front trunks, frunks, which turned the space where the engine normally would go into storage compartment.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_00: Well, shortly after releasing the Mustang Machie in late 2019, Ford put out a news release demonstrating how the 4.8-foot frunk could be packed with ice to tail date tailgate with crodites or cocktail shrimp, then emptied via a built-in drain.
• 9:41
  SPEAKER_00: That'd be cool.
• 9:42
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna put fish up front, dead fish up front.
• 9:46
  SPEAKER_00: Up front.
• 9:47
SPEAKER_01: You've never had fish in your frunk?
• 9:50
  SPEAKER_01: It's awesome.
• 9:51
SPEAKER_00: Alternatively, Ford suggested filling the space with more than a thousand chicken wings.
• 9:55
SPEAKER_00: Oh you go spraying it down after the game with a hose.
• 9:59
  SPEAKER_00: Martha, what's that smell?
• 10:00
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 10:01
SPEAKER_00: Is that raw chicken wings that are up there, Martha?
• 10:04
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sorry, honey.
• 10:06
  SPEAKER_00: I forgot those.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_00: That was from this last weekend.
• 10:08
SPEAKER_00: They've been in there for three or four days.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: However, the vehicle lost 40% of its capacity for shellfish and poultry on the 25 model because Ford needed it to fit a larger heat pump.
• 10:21
SPEAKER_00: So it doesn't that was a pretty funny story, huh?
• 10:23
SPEAKER_04: Let me check this math.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_04: So we're gonna take away the frunk and we're gonna give you$125 uh credit if you want$150, yeah.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_04: But if you want it back, if you want that$125 value that we put on it back, you're gonna pay$450 to get the$125 trunk back.
• 10:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the$150 will basically go for your first load of crawfish or shrimp or something like that, or some raw chicken wings to take.
• 10:54
  SPEAKER_01: Get on a 658-mile road that doesn't have a bathroom.
• 10:59
  SPEAKER_01: That's right.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_01: Just go cross country in this wagon.
• 11:02
  SPEAKER_01: Oh lord.
• 11:03
  SPEAKER_01: Conestoga wagon.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_00: I don't think that the marketing department really thought that through in their chicken wings.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_00: You have to line it with crawfish.
• 11:09
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 11:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 11:10
  SPEAKER_00: Ooh.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine?
• 11:12
SPEAKER_00: Even if you spray it out afterwards, you ever smelled you know an igloo cooler after you've had raw fish in there or or even a water crawfish, eat crawfish or something like that.
• 11:23
  SPEAKER_00: Whatever, it still stinks.
• 11:25
  SPEAKER_00: It ruined.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_00: And you know, we didn't want to finish up the show today without uh without without being really part of the entire Jeffrey Epstein thing.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_00: So I found a Jeffrey Epstein story on on uh automotive news.
• 11:42
  SPEAKER_00: Great.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_00: Jeffrey Epstein had his eye on the Toyota Century limousine and took a keen interest in the arrest of former Nissan chairman Carlos Gown, or Gosen is what I call him.
• 11:54
SPEAKER_00: Even directly contacting Gosen's attorney.
• 11:57
SPEAKER_00: Emails in the redacted Epstein files indicate the convicted sex offender, trying to import a century through a connection with an executive vice president at the CarMaker and seemingly probed billionaire Tom Pritzker, probably not the right use of words there, for intel on Gosen's downfall the week after Gosen's November 2018 arrest in Japan.
• 12:21
SPEAKER_00: Epstein wrote, the Nissan guy Gosen is being held in Communicado in Tokyo.
• 12:27
SPEAKER_00: He added, can you ask around three why regarding why, yeah.
• 12:35
  SPEAKER_00: Well, um yeah.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_04: Maybe he thought he could use it like Gosin did to get out of jail.
• 12:42
SPEAKER_00: Separately, in tw late 2014, in early 2015, Epstein was preoccupied with procuring new limos outside of the girls that he was procuring.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_00: In November 2014, Epstein asked another friend for help in importing to New York City, a Toyota Century, a luxury limousine not sold in the U.S.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_00: He wanted a black exterior with a light-colored interior.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_00: The apparent contact, Joichi Ito, a prominent venture capitalist who was director of the MIT Media Lab, said he would ask a Toyota friend who acted as an intermediary to an executive vice president named Kato.
• 13:21
  SPEAKER_00: K-A-T-O-H.
• 13:22
  SPEAKER_00: Kato.
• 13:24
  SPEAKER_01: Green Lantern.
• 13:25
SPEAKER_00: At the time, executive vice president Mitsuhisho Kito was global head of RD.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_00: Eto said he would ask the EVP, executive vice president, directly during an upcoming meeting.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: It's funny how these things all get to the back room, huh?
• 13:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it'd be pretty cool if you were in a Century, Eto said.
• 13:45
SPEAKER_00: Eto later resigned from the MIT Media Lab.
• 13:47
SPEAKER_00: Following revelations, the organization received donations linked to Epstein.
• 13:52
SPEAKER_00: In late January of 15, Eto's Toyota Intermediary broke the bad news.
• 13:57
  SPEAKER_00: Mr.
• 13:57
SPEAKER_00: Cato asked the project general manager of Century about delivery to your friend, and the result is cannot deliver it, he wrote.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_00: It didn't meet, you know, bumper standards or you know, uh emissions, what you name it.
• 14:17
  SPEAKER_00: NTSA, all that.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it didn't meet it.
• 14:19
SPEAKER_00: So anyway, so there's my Epstein story to go along with all of the national.
• 14:24
SPEAKER_01: Aren't you glad you weren't mentioning that, Mike?
• 14:27
SPEAKER_00: I hope they haven't got to me yet.
• 14:29
  SPEAKER_00: Not yet.
• 14:29
  SPEAKER_00: You've been redacted.
• 14:31
  unknown: Thank you.
• 14:32
  unknown: Thank you.
• 14:33
  SPEAKER_00: Again.
• 14:35
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_00: Um, I think what we're going to do now is we are going to take a little break.
• 14:41
  unknown: All right.
• 14:42
SPEAKER_00: Are you good with that, Mr.
• 14:43
  SPEAKER_00: Morris?
• 14:44
  SPEAKER_04: I think so.
• 14:44
  SPEAKER_04: It's a good time.

SPEAKER_01: So get on out there.

  SPEAKER_01: Speed bump classics.

SPEAKER_01: Speed bump classics at the 403 Eats.
• 18:47
  SPEAKER_00: I like it.
• 18:48
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 18:48
  SPEAKER_00: Clever stuff.
• 18:50
SPEAKER_00: Uh I got a couple of stories that I wanted to throw in here before we end the show today.
• 18:56
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 18:57
SPEAKER_00: Uh as automakers taught, the software-defined vehicle transition, which seems to be the new thing now, infotainment and connectivity remain the least reliable parts of the vehicle.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_00: Uh owners experienced persistent issues connecting their mobile phones to their cars, for instance, according to a survey released this month.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_00: Additionally, 58% of owners who had received an over-the-air update said they perceived no noticeable difference in their vehicle, according to a 2026 U.S.
• 19:27
SPEAKER_00: vehicle dependability study from JD Power.
• 19:30
SPEAKER_00: Only 27% of those who obtained over-the-year updates said their experience was improved.
• 19:36
SPEAKER_00: They didn't say by how much.
• 19:38
SPEAKER_00: Automakers anticipate over-the-year updates will be a key revenue generator via subscriptions.
• 19:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's coming.
• 19:45
SPEAKER_00: You want it, you want your car updated?
• 19:47
SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's going to cost you uh, you know,$600 a year.
• 19:51
SPEAKER_01: Not that OnStar does that for renewal.
• 19:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, we're not doing that.
• 19:57
SPEAKER_00: Betting that drivers will pay for software updates beamed into the vehicle over Wi-Fi or cellular.
• 20:04
SPEAKER_00: The central infotainment display is supposed to be the portal to access seamless native navigation and entertainment.
• 20:12
SPEAKER_00: Ultimately, drivers should be able to install applications from a broad web of developers.
• 20:19
SPEAKER_04: So, you know, you want to so anybody's gonna be able to get into your car.
• 20:26
SPEAKER_00: If you say yes, I want to buy that, yes, you're right.
• 20:28
SPEAKER_00: Just like your cell phone.
• 20:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_01: Now mine has updates, but it's through General Motors.
• 20:33
SPEAKER_01: But they update certain things in the vehicle.
• 20:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, every six months, nothing.
• 20:37
SPEAKER_00: But you know, three three years from now, you're gonna say, hey Jeff, you know, if you want to stay up to date on all of the updates, mapping and all that, yeah.
• 20:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, then you're gonna have to pay for it.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and you got multiple suppliers that you can choose from.
• 20:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 20:50
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 20:50
  SPEAKER_00: Like your phone server.
• 20:54
SPEAKER_00: Um he's scratching his head.
• 20:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 20:59
SPEAKER_00: Head, not your hair, because you don't have any of that.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_04: That's why I was scratching here, yeah.
• 21:04
  SPEAKER_01: I still carry a comb.
• 21:06
  SPEAKER_01: I just can't part with it.
• 21:16
  SPEAKER_00: Go ahead, Morris.
• 21:18
SPEAKER_00: We'll just turn you up.
• 21:20
  SPEAKER_00: Go ahead.
• 21:24
  SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
• 21:26
  SPEAKER_00: No, it's good.
• 21:26
  SPEAKER_00: I I I liked it.
• 21:28
SPEAKER_00: That was that was recordable.
• 21:33
SPEAKER_00: The findings published uh February 12th are a sobering reminder that the auto industry may have to iron out some kinks before delivering the software-defined vehicle revolution.
• 21:44
  SPEAKER_00: You think?
• 21:45
  SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
• 21:46
SPEAKER_00: Public software snafuos have characterized the push toward SDVs across manufacturers.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_00: Ford, for example, had issued several recalls in 2025 related to backup camera software.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_00: Blank instrument cluster displays and other problems.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_00: Toyota and Lexus recalls covered backup camera issues that stemmed from software in 2025.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_00: Honda recalled a set of accord hybrids because of a software error.
• 22:13
SPEAKER_00: GM recalled some Cadillac lyric EVs because of software glitches that impacted the instrument cluster displays.
• 22:20
SPEAKER_00: In the JD Power survey, Infotainment had 56.7 problems per 100 vehicles.
• 22:26
  SPEAKER_00: That's a lot.
• 22:27
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_00: The next most problematic category was exteriors with 27.5 problems per 100 vehicles.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_00: Other categories included climate, driving assistance, and powertrain.
• 22:40
SPEAKER_00: More than 33,000 original owners answered questions about their 2023 model year vehicles after three years of ownership.
• 22:48
  SPEAKER_00: The biggest connectivity complaints.
• 22:50
SPEAKER_00: Respondents complained about problems with the Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging pads, and automaker app connectivity.
• 23:00
SPEAKER_00: Can you get a car today that doesn't have that stuff?
• 23:04
SPEAKER_00: You can get a car.
• 23:05
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, the car has had multiple computers in it, mainly for the engine, and there are some things on the interior.
• 23:11
SPEAKER_00: But the add-ons, for instance, like Blue Cruise, it's probably part of a package.
• 23:16
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that that's an option.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_00: You know as well as I do that that that that piece of software is in that car, it just hasn't been activated.
• 23:24
SPEAKER_04: Well, yeah, because you hadn't paid for it.
• 23:25
  SPEAKER_04: Correct.
• 23:26
SPEAKER_04: But like the wireless charging pad.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_04: You know, some not every car has that yet.
• 23:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, my car certainly doesn't have to be.
• 23:33
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, mine does it.
• 23:34
SPEAKER_04: Well, no, either, but I I just had one uh that did not have one.
• 23:37
SPEAKER_04: It was a stripper model, and it didn't have a wireless charging pad.
• 23:40
SPEAKER_04: I had to find a cable and plug my car my phone.
• 23:43
  SPEAKER_04: Well, darn it.
• 23:44
  SPEAKER_04: Well, it's a good one.
• 23:45
SPEAKER_04: Well, no, it's just you know it was unexpected in this day and age.
• 23:48
SPEAKER_01: It's your especially in the cars of the press level.
• 23:50
  SPEAKER_01: It's your trim levels.
• 23:51
  SPEAKER_01: That's all it is.
• 23:52
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 23:52
SPEAKER_01: You want it, you gotta get it upgrade to this trim level.
• 23:55
SPEAKER_01: You want a sunroof, you gotta go upgrade to that trim level.
• 23:57
SPEAKER_01: So it's it's all part of the steps.
• 24:00
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that it's like my wife's car.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_04: I wanted the big backup camera screen and the dash when we bought it.
• 24:06
SPEAKER_04: Well, it was the package to get that.
• 24:08
SPEAKER_04: You got the sunroof and you got the basics motor and several other things.
• 24:11
  SPEAKER_04: I didn't necessarily want.
• 24:13
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 24:14
SPEAKER_04: But you got the whole thing to get it.
• 24:16
SPEAKER_00: You couldn't order it separately?
• 24:18
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 24:18
SPEAKER_04: That was if you got that, that's the way it came.
• 24:22
SPEAKER_00: I bet you they don't do that anymore.
• 24:25
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
• 24:26
SPEAKER_04: I that was a few years ago.
• 24:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 24:29
SPEAKER_00: What year is that car?
• 24:30
  SPEAKER_04: 2015.
• 24:32
  SPEAKER_00: Several years ago.
• 24:34
  SPEAKER_00: Mike, that's a generation ago.
• 24:37
SPEAKER_04: And if you look at the the brand and the model, that's like two generations ago.
• 24:41
SPEAKER_04: Well, what the hell is it?
• 24:42
SPEAKER_04: What did you buy in that?
• 24:46
  SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_04: If it's lasting 11 years, you can take care of it.
• 24:49
SPEAKER_04: She's still the only yeah.
• 24:52
SPEAKER_04: There's no reason to get rid of it.
• 24:53
SPEAKER_04: She loves it, so it's gonna roll on.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_01: You're her shade tree mechanic, so you know, keep it up.
• 24:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it should be a little bit more.
• 24:59
SPEAKER_01: That's the shady tree mechanic.
• 25:01
  SPEAKER_00: The shady tree mechanic.
• 25:04
  SPEAKER_00: So, Mr.
• 25:05
SPEAKER_00: Mars, uh, what are you gonna get another car?
• 25:07
SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna have another car next week?
• 25:09
  SPEAKER_04: Yes, yes.
• 25:10
SPEAKER_04: So uh next week, it's the uh the Ford F-150 that I had.
• 25:15
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, yeah.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_04: And I got a Mustang right now.
• 25:18
SPEAKER_04: I was supposed to have the big uh 350 Ford, but uh it got smacked, so I got a Mustang convertible GT instead.
• 25:25
  SPEAKER_04: Well, darn it.
• 25:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they they called it said, Do you mind if we bring this to you?
• 25:29
  SPEAKER_04: Do you mind?
• 25:30
  SPEAKER_00: Please bring it.
• 25:32
SPEAKER_00: I'll pay extra for it, you know?
• 25:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh no, don't do that.
• 25:36
SPEAKER_00: Well, um, yeah, so you're gonna take Becky out in the convertible?
• 25:40
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 25:41
  SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
• 25:41
SPEAKER_00: And where are you going?
• 25:42
SPEAKER_00: So I want to know all about that.
• 25:44
  SPEAKER_00: Where are you going?
• 25:45
SPEAKER_04: Well, we don't go too far.
• 25:46
SPEAKER_04: Uh, but you know, we take her out to dinner one evening.
• 25:49
SPEAKER_04: The weather's been really nice.
• 25:50
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna drop the top down and you know, hopefully uh get to take a little clear.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_04: Well, mainly in her hair a little bit, because I mine don't blow so good anymore.
• 26:04
  SPEAKER_01: That's right.
• 26:06
  SPEAKER_01: Take the comb.
• 26:08
  SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
• 26:09
  SPEAKER_04: So yeah, yeah.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_04: So I'm looking forward to it.
• 26:11
SPEAKER_00: And how about you, Jeffrey?
• 26:13
  SPEAKER_01: I don't have a convertible.
• 26:15
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what happened to your hair.
• 26:17
  SPEAKER_00: He just burned it.
• 26:21
SPEAKER_00: And by the way, I I this uh he probably doesn't want me to say this, but I will say this.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_00: Jeff has a new hairstyle.
• 26:27
  SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
• 26:28
SPEAKER_00: And uh it's looking pretty sharp.
• 26:30
  SPEAKER_01: You like it?
• 26:30
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I do.
• 26:31
SPEAKER_01: I just totally give you a number two and shh, shave it off.
• 26:34
  SPEAKER_01: It's summertime.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_01: I had it, you know, I just gets in my eyes.
• 26:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, it gets in your eyes, yeah.
• 26:39
SPEAKER_00: I think that the next thing is going to be that he is going to wind up with one of those shaved heads, just completely bald.
• 26:46
SPEAKER_01: A tattoo of hair on my head.
• 26:48
  SPEAKER_00: A tattoo of hair.
• 26:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 26:49
SPEAKER_00: I think they do that in prison, don't they?
• 26:51
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 26:52
  SPEAKER_01: How would you know?
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_00: I've seen pictures though.
• 26:54
SPEAKER_04: Um my luck, I would go to the tattoo parlor and say, I want to tattoo the hair on, and he'd say, H A I R.
• 27:04
  SPEAKER_04: Or H A R E.
• 27:05
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
