• 2:21
Speaker 3: Doesn't it Come for your?
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: daughter Chuck.
• 2:25
Speaker 1: There's that, so tell me about the Drive.
• 2:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, so the Drive is the chronicle of car culture, kind of an automotive news website.
• 2:34
Speaker 2: We do product reviews, car reviews, kind of like us?
• 2:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly Kind of like you guys.
• 2:39
Speaker 2: Where are you located?
• 2:40
Speaker 2: I'm currently in Denver, colorado.
• 2:43
Speaker 2: I spend most of my time in the Hudson Valley of New York.
• 2:44
  Speaker 2: But Located?
• 2:45
Speaker 2: I'm currently in Denver, colorado.
• 2:45
Speaker 2: I spend most of my time in the Hudson Valley of New York, but we have staff all over the country LA, indiana, up north, portland, oregon.
• 2:49
  Speaker 2: It's very widespread.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: Are you a radio or TV guy?
• 2:54
Speaker 2: We're mostly online actually.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Well, I know, but I'm talking about you personally, your background, oh, oh Well, a little bit of both.
• 3:01
Speaker 2: I guess Done some appearances in the automotive realm on all kinds of platforms radios and TV shows and all that good stuff.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: I see, so you know.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: I mean you weren't a jock at some time or did news on the radio or TV?
• 3:13
  Speaker 2: Not as a full-time gig.
• 3:14
Speaker 2: Just made appearances on shows like yourselves and, yeah, kind of bounced around Okay.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: Well, you know, because you I mean as a a really a professional guy and obviously in a professional setting.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: So you know giving you kudos, if I can.
• 3:31
Speaker 2: Okay, good, I appreciate that, Thank you.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: So tell me, tell me about the show.
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: What's the?
• 3:38
  Speaker 2: format?
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Is it a weekly show?
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Is it on the online all the time?
• 3:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, so there's a couple of different.
• 3:42
Speaker 2: So the drive itself is like a news website like the New York Times or CNN or Fox or anywhere.
• 3:47
Speaker 2: You get your text-based news and then we're on YouTube as well with on the drive on YouTube, also easy to find, and every week we're currently running a show called Charisma Car-isma.
• 3:59
Speaker 2: I got a little pun there and that's kind of where we're looking at very unique, like custom cars and the people who have built them.
• 4:06
Speaker 2: So you know, like we've got an old BMW with a Nissan engine swapped into it and a five-cylinder Volvo that's heavily modified and kind of go into like the backstory of the person and the hot rod right.
• 4:19
Speaker 2: So you get like their relationship with their car and kind of cool stories like that.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: So that's been pretty fun lately, gee whiz you know we should have drug you with us to go on the hot rod tour here.
• 4:29
Speaker 1: We're going to have Texas in a couple of weeks.
• 4:32
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I bet you got some great ones down there.
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: Well, 350 cars.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: We go from along the coastline down in Victoria, texas, and we head north through the famous Texas Hill Country and wind up in Lukenbach, texas.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: Nice, that sounds fun, yeah, yeah.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: So that's our next big adventure that we're headed out of the studio on A couple of weeks.
• 4:55
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: And we do remotes and that sort of thing at different car events.
• 4:59
Speaker 1: So your stuff is a little bit different than our stuff.
• 5:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a little bit.
• 5:05
  Speaker 2: We don't necessarily.
• 5:06
Speaker 2: It sounds like you kind of focus on like the classic American muscle which we touch on a little bit.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: But yeah, we kind of try to just cover a little bit, dabble in a little bit of everything.
• 5:15
Speaker 1: Well, and that's us as well.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: We do car reviews.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: We get press cars Mars and I do and so we do car reviews as well, and so your stuff is updated, obviously, every day.
• 5:28
  Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: So on the website there's new text-based stories every day, at least like eight or nine new stories, whether it's news, and usually like a couple of car reviews a week.
• 5:38
Speaker 2: But you know the news is always popping off, so there's new stuff every time you refresh the page.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: Do you guys cover anything that goes on in Detroit with the big three?
• 5:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely yeah, I mean everything that has to do with basically the industry and we try to write for a pretty broad audience so we don't necessarily get into as specific as, like big three executives changing hands or things like that, but anything that you know the car consumer can use and potentially affects, yeah, how your relationship with your car is going to change, we definitely try to cover.
• 6:09
Speaker 1: So are your reporters.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: Are they all journalists?
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: Are they freelancers?
• 6:12
Speaker 1: How does that work?
• 6:13
  Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got a staff.
• 6:14
Speaker 2: Staff size fluctuates a little bit but, yeah, pretty much everybody is.
• 6:18
Speaker 2: I think you can consider us all journalists.
• 6:21
Speaker 2: We all come from different backgrounds.
• 6:22
Speaker 2: I studied anthropology in school personally and kind of worked in the automotive finance world for a while.
• 6:28
Speaker 2: I've worked in a lot of different aspects of the car biz and now have been reviewing cars for over a decade, so I've got pretty deep into that at this point.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, we can relate to that.
• 6:40
Speaker 4: Mars how about you.
• 6:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, I find it very interesting to see what everybody else is doing.
• 6:46
Speaker 4: I've made several visits to his site.
• 6:49
Speaker 4: I'll say it that way Good, because they do have a lot of information there.
• 6:54
Speaker 3: I come from a Chippendales background.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: Do you, you know?
• 6:57
Speaker 1: I kind of felt that I know that Bald is back, yeah, yeah.
• 7:01
Speaker 1: And so I'm thinking, yeah, well, there you go, we have Mr Mr Morris down there in the end.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: He was the former president of the Texas auto writers association for several years.
• 7:16
  Speaker 2: Yeah and Jeff.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: Jeff is our tire God.
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: So he was.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: I mean he went around the world with Pirelli and Goodyear and other tire manufacturers.
• 7:25
Speaker 1: I'm just the schlup that fell into all of this.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: Through broadcasting he pulled us in.
• 7:36
Speaker 4: I will say I did kind of get my start in something like what he's doing, except in the print world.
• 7:40
Speaker 4: I was doing freelance work for street trucks and trucking and and Diesel World people like that down here in Texas because it was a lot cheaper to hire me than it was to fly them out of LA over to here.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: So that's kind of where I got started.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: So, besides your press cars that you get out of the press fleet, what kind of car do you have personally?
• 8:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got a pretty eclectic fleet.
• 8:03
  Speaker 2: I've got a 1975 International Scout.
• 8:06
Speaker 2: That's probably my oldest.
• 8:07
Speaker 2: That is my oldest.
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: I've got a 98 Mitsubishi Montero.
• 8:10
Speaker 2: That's like an SUV type thing that's kind of modified for off-road adventures.
• 8:15
Speaker 2: I've got a eighth generation Honda Civic I use for racing because it's cheap to run.
• 8:20
Speaker 2: I've got a couple of BMWs.
• 8:23
  Speaker 2: I've got a BMW 3 Series Coupe E46.
• 8:25
Speaker 2: That's just kind of like our back-road cruiser.
• 8:27
Speaker 2: And then the pride of the fleet, Wait a minute, wait a minute.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: The BMW is the back-road cruiser.
• 8:35
Speaker 3: He needs to be introduced to the Lilienthals.
• 8:36
  Speaker 3: The Lilienthals.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: Do you know the Lilienthals up in Portland?
• 8:42
Speaker 2: Andy, yes, andy and Mercedes.
• 8:44
Speaker 2: I was just hanging out with Andy at Easter Jeep Safari a couple weeks ago.
• 8:47
Speaker 3: Wow, they just got back from the Elkhorn.
• 8:49
Speaker 3: We just had him on the air last week.
• 8:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, another Mitsubishi guy actually.
• 8:53
  Speaker 2: I think he's got a couple Pajeros.
• 8:55
  Speaker 2: Yes, he does.
• 8:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got to be sure.
• 9:01
Speaker 1: You know, in Texas we kind of tend to think that everything with the J sounds like an H.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: Well, in that particular case it has a completely different meaning if you put it as an H as opposed to a J.
• 9:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's why they sold them as Montero in America.
• 9:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, that didn't really fly.
• 9:27
  Speaker 3: They're a great couple.
• 9:27
Speaker 3: They're great and they're, they're, they're part of the show yeah, oh great, that's awesome.
• 9:31
  Speaker 2: I didn't even know that.
• 9:31
  Speaker 2: Yeah, that's cool.
• 9:32
  Speaker 2: No, connection.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: We all get around, don't we?
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: Yeah?
• 9:36
Speaker 2: yeah, I know that's like yeah what finds you in denver uh, my sister lives out here so I'm staying.
• 9:42
Speaker 2: I stay with her for a lot of the winter to go skiing actually, cheater.
• 9:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, I've just been mooching off her guest room.
• 9:51
Speaker 4: That's great, enjoying the winter weather a little bit, testing all the vehicles in the snow.
• 9:55
  Speaker 4: Exactly, it's research, it's research.
• 9:58
Speaker 2: It is, yeah, and you know, actually we did some events out in Utah so it was a lot easier for me to get there.
• 10:03
Speaker 2: We did Easter Jeep, as I mentioned, and then Ford Ranger Raptor was a couple of weeks ago, so it was easier to get to those events Now were those events paid for by the manufacturer?
• 10:13
  Speaker 2: Yep, yep, yeah.
• 10:16
Speaker 2: The manufacturers are always happy to pay for stuff like that.
• 10:19
  Speaker 2: It's quite a thing.
• 10:20
Speaker 2: What's the one in Moab just recently, just last week?
• 10:21
  Speaker 3: Jeep Safari.
• 10:21
Speaker 3: Yeah's the one in Moab just recently just last week.
• 10:23
  Speaker 3: Jeep.
• 10:24
  Speaker 4: Safari, jeep Safari.
• 10:25
Speaker 3: I have a client of mine that took his son out there.
• 10:28
  Speaker 3: He's a Jeepster, he's a massive vehicle.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: Was that like about 1,000 Jeeps?
• 10:33
Speaker 1: Well, he said closer to 10,000.
• 10:35
  Speaker 3: 10,000.
• 10:35
Speaker 3: It was a bunch.
• 10:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's wild, they all descend no-transcript.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: So if we go over to the drive this morning, what are we going to see?
• 10:54
Speaker 2: Well, let's see what's going on.
• 10:55
Speaker 2: I probably should have checked my site, he doesn't yeah.
• 10:57
Speaker 2: Well it's only nine o'clock in the morning on a Saturday, so I'm just getting the sand out of my eyes.
• 11:03
Speaker 2: Actually, at the top is a review.
• 11:06
Speaker 2: I wrote about a motorcycle called the BMW CE02, which is like an electric kind of a scooter type, but a very bizarre vehicle, and I reviewed that a couple weeks ago and actually the story just went up and, yeah, a lot of electric car news.
• 11:22
Speaker 2: Actually, porsche Taycan recalled for fires.
• 11:27
Speaker 2: Not so good Car reviews.
• 11:28
Speaker 2: We found a funny story about how the zoo transports giraffes in a colossally tall trailer Interesting.
• 11:36
  Speaker 2: So yeah it's a whole spread, it's a cornucopia.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Now, who runs your website.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: Do you do that or does somebody else do it?
• 11:43
Speaker 2: No, no, so the main guy's editor-in-chief, kyle Tromka.
• 11:46
Speaker 2: He kind of like decides what we're going to cover and he's the main man pulling the levers.
• 11:50
Speaker 2: And then we've got a deputy editor and a news editor and they both kind of help the daily flow.
• 11:54
Speaker 2: My role as executive editors I do a little bit of everything.
• 11:57
Speaker 2: You know I've been in the biz long enough that I've kind of had every job there is to have at a car website.
• 12:02
Speaker 2: So I get I do a lot of behind the scenes stuff and a little bit of writing and editing.
• 12:06
Speaker 2: And I also work on like making relationships with companies, like, for example, we do like WD 40 sponsors some of our, our wrenching articles.
• 12:14
Speaker 2: So we'll, we'll do a story about a little project we're working on and we'll be like oh, and here's how you all looking for jobs.
• 12:28
Speaker 2: So you know real, real, you got it.
• 12:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got a good thing going here.
• 12:33
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, we enjoy it, we enjoy it.
• 12:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, we're just looking to make a living doing it, that's the only that's the only thing, it only thing.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: It's kind of like racing.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: Oh, I love racing, I go racing, I work on the car all the time, not making a dime Matter of fact.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: It's costing me money every week, that kind of thing.
• 12:50
Speaker 3: Well, you can quote me on this.
• 12:51
Speaker 3: I know how to make $20 million in racing.
• 12:53
Speaker 3: You start with $50 million.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: Yes, well, andrew, it's great talking to you, my friend.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: The website is called the Drive and I guess it's thedrivecom.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: Yes, sir, there you go, and I'm sure that you have presence on Facebook and the other social media platforms.
• 13:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, the Drive's on all those.
• 13:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, Facebook and Instagram and all that.
• 13:16
Speaker 1: Well, listen, good luck with your skiing activity while you're.
• 13:19
Speaker 2: Thanks, man, before the snow melts.
• 13:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, don't have much time left.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: Stay in touch with us Before the snow melts.
• 13:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, don't have much time left.
• 13:26
Speaker 2: Stay in touch with us.
• 13:26
Speaker 3: It's great talking to you Likewise Thanks, Thank you.
• 13:29
  Speaker 3: Nice young kid.
• 13:30
Speaker 3: They're all kids nowadays, yeah well they're all kids, unfortunately.
• 13:35
Speaker 3: What a wealth of knowledge on that.
• 13:38
Speaker 4: But it's kind of neat to see somebody that's that energetic and somebody that's in the business trying to have fun.
• 13:44
Speaker 4: I mean this guy's smiling Energetic.
• 13:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, like we're not, or do we got a?
• 13:49
Speaker 4: foot in the grave.
• 13:50
Speaker 4: No, it's not quite the same.
• 13:52
Speaker 1: Mike, what are you really trying to say?
• 13:54
Speaker 4: This sponsor is Pevigen Trying to say that in some places there's still hope for the future.
• 14:01
Speaker 4: There's hope for all of us.
• 14:05
Speaker 3: You'd betcha, yeah, you betcha.
• 14:07
Speaker 3: We've got a couple of special features lined up for you, because I've got to get this going.
• 14:13
Speaker 3: Where are we going?
• 14:14
Speaker 1: Well, why don't we do, Mr Mars?
• 14:17
Speaker 1: Well, we did the 10 microcars, didn't?
• 14:20
Speaker 3: we Right, right, okay, well, I can put that sheet away.
• 14:22
Speaker 3: We've got history, and then we can do one of mine.
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 14:25
Speaker 1: Well, I want to do your famous four-door Corvette, Okay.
• 14:28
Speaker 1: And then we've also got Hems.
• 14:35
Speaker 3: Lots of recalls okay, well, we want to start with the corvette.
• 14:38
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
• 14:39
Speaker 3: Okay, well, here we go.
• 14:40
Speaker 3: All right, this, uh, is a super rare corvette, according to what they tell me.
• 14:46
  Speaker 3: Uh, it's a long four-door c3.
• 14:49
Speaker 3: Now, this, this isn't it.
• 14:51
  Speaker 3: This is it.
• 14:51
  Speaker 3: It is a c3 corvette.
• 14:53
Speaker 3: It popped up for sale.
• 14:54
  Speaker 3: Now.
• 14:55
Speaker 3: The four-door 1980 Corvette was commissioned by GM and is one of only six produced, known to still exist.
• 15:02
Speaker 3: It's hard to fathom, but there was a time when GM was considering building these four-door Corvettes.
• 15:08
Speaker 3: These days, we're constantly hit with rumors about a Corvette sedan, perhaps a Corvette SUV.
• 15:14
Speaker 3: Did you want to say something on that?
• 15:16
Speaker 3: Nope, none of which actually made it to production, kind of sort of.
• 15:21
Speaker 3: The elongated C3 is in fact, real and GM didn't technically build it.
• 15:28
Speaker 3: They commissioned it from a company called California.
• 15:31
Speaker 1: Custom Coach in Pasadena, california, that's.
• 15:32
Speaker 3: Pasagetdown, dina, pasagetdown, dina.
• 15:34
Speaker 3: A grand total of six of these vehicles were produced as part of an exercise to test the market and gauge interest in a family-friendly Corvette, and today only two of the original cars are known to exist.
• 15:46
Speaker 3: The one you're seeing here is currently up for sale at a tidy sum of over $102,562.
• 15:54
  Speaker 3: I'll pass.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: The car is completely original, right down to its number matching drivetrain.
• 16:00
Speaker 3: It only has 20,000 miles on it, mike.
• 16:02
Speaker 3: So if you're looking for something for the grandchildren, there you go, that's it.
• 16:06
Speaker 3: Apparently it was going to be called the Corvette America, but the automaker knew it was a niche product and didn't really go over too well.
• 16:15
Speaker 3: They planned to build 40 of them per year.
• 16:17
Speaker 3: One prototype and five cars were produced, constructed from two Corvettes each.
• 16:23
Speaker 3: After slicing them in half and putting them back together, resulting in a wheelbase was 30 inches longer than a regular C3.
• 16:31
Speaker 3: It wasn't just a low interest that killed the Corvette America, it was the limo look, super cab-sized length and the car's exorbitant cost.
• 16:41
Speaker 3: So while the C3 back in 80 went for about 13 grand, this four-door was set to go for $35,000 back in 80.
• 16:50
Speaker 3: So nobody wanted it.
• 16:53
Speaker 3: I like it, I would drive it.
• 16:55
Speaker 3: This car has been around the block a few times.
• 16:58
Speaker 3: According to Barn Finds, which is a site you can go to, the four-door Corvette first popped up back in 2017 with an insane price tag of $275,000.
• 17:08
Speaker 3: Then it resurfaced in 2019 on Craigslist for about $119,000.
• 17:14
Speaker 3: So will it sell for the 102?
• 17:17
  Speaker 3: Who knows?
• 17:18
Speaker 3: oh, probably, probably some rich guy somebody, just because it's that unique yep, but you know, I saw it, I liked it, I would drive it um.
• 17:26
Speaker 1: I like that I can't imagine driving a corvette with that long of a wheelbase.
• 17:30
Speaker 1: Well, and I also that the seat, the b pillar, on that car is so thick.
• 17:34
Speaker 1: How would you see around that?
• 17:36
Speaker 3: Well, you'd have people in the back telling you where to go.
• 17:38
Speaker 3: I guess so, but I like the body style of the 80.
• 17:40
Speaker 3: I really like that you do?
• 17:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I always liked that body style of Corvette Mm-hmm.
• 17:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we have recalls to tell you about Kia Telluride being recalled for the 2020 to 2024 model years.
• 17:55
Speaker 1: The vehicle will roll away from the disengaged driveshaft.
• 18:00
  Speaker 1: Uh-oh, oops.
• 18:01
Speaker 1: Porsche recalling lots of Taycans.
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: High-voltage batteries may short-circuit.
• 18:08
Speaker 1: Almost all of them from the 2020 model year, all the way through 2023.
• 18:14
Speaker 1: And also, oa goes on even the 24s.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: What are you doing back there?
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: Hiding my paperwork?
• 18:23
Speaker 1: You're hiding your paperwork.
• 18:25
Speaker 1: You don't want anybody to see it.
• 18:27
Speaker 1: No, I don't want Mike to see it.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: You were one of those kind of guys in high school, weren't you?
• 18:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, I was when I went.
• 18:33
Speaker 1: You're a Lamborghini Huracan that you've got in the garage at home.
• 18:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's being recalled because high beams may not activate.
• 18:40
Speaker 1: Or how about the fuel supply line may leak on the Ford Mustang 2024.
• 18:44
  Speaker 1: It's being recalled.
• 18:46
Speaker 3: The Ford Mustang, not the Mach-E, just the regular.
• 18:48
Speaker 1: Regular, yeah, gasoline motor.
• 18:50
Speaker 1: That would be the one with the fuel leak Ford Bronco Sport and the Maverick for 2023.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: The tires were manufactured incorrectly.
• 19:01
Speaker 1: Oh boy, that's all it says.
• 19:02
Speaker 1: That's a DOT problem, that is.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: But it's being recalled.
• 19:05
Speaker 1: So you get a new set of tires.
• 19:06
Speaker 1: Hopefully you got about 30,000 miles on it and get you new set for free.
• 19:10
Speaker 3: It's there in the 3-millimeter, yeah.
• 19:12
Speaker 1: Loss of drive power from damaged wiring harness on the Mercedes-Benz E350 and 450 for the 2024 model year.
• 19:19
Speaker 1: Improperly secured 12-volt ground connection on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 1,500, 2,500, 3,500, 4,500 for the 2023 model year.
• 19:33
Speaker 1: Tire damage from contact with the wheel arch liner.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: The Ford Transit for 2023.
• 19:37
  Speaker 1: And 2024.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the inner fender, yeah, and airbag may not deploy.
• 19:41
Speaker 1: Again, here we go.
• 19:42
Speaker 1: Subaru Legacy and Outback 2020 through 2022.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: High-voltage batteries may short-circuit on the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT 22 to 24 model years.
• 19:55
Speaker 1: Gt and RS e-tron GT 22 to 24 model years, and same thing on the 22 to 23 Audi e-tron GT, and I don't know why they've got it on here twice, but it's two recalls anyway.
• 20:07
Speaker 1: You got an Audi, you got anything?
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: Look it up?
• 20:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, go to safercargov and type in your VIN number and it'll tell you whether your car has been recalled or not.
• 20:18
Speaker 1: Chrysler Pacifica and the Voyager for 24.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: The windshield may detach during a crash, so don't crash it.
• 20:26
Speaker 3: Aren't they supposed to have some type of give?
• 20:28
Speaker 3: Like you know, you've got your crash crumple zones in the fenders.
• 20:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't think that the windshield's supposed to fall out.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: I think it's supposed to stay intact.
• 20:40
Speaker 1: So if you're not wearing your seat belt, you won't get thrown through, uh, the hole that was left by the windshield.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, all right.
• 20:46
Speaker 1: Um, what else am I missing?

• 21:43
Speaker 4: She stole it, yeah, and this was considered the first long distance automobile trip, and it demonstrated the viability of the automobile as a practical mode of transportation.
• 21:52
Speaker 5: She was doing wheelies with it.
• 21:54
Speaker 5: She was a hero.
• 21:57
Speaker 4: But she did figure out she's considered the disc brakes.
• 22:00
Speaker 4: She was going downhill and she couldn't stop, so she had a guy put some leather pads onto her wooden brakes on her wooden wheels, and that's where disc brakes evolved from that.
• 22:11
Speaker 4: Well, there you have it, she's a trendsetter, trendsetter, look at that too, 1970.
