- 0:00Speaker 1: Valerie, good morning, what's going on?
- 0:02Speaker 2: Good morning?
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hi? What's up? You're on the air?
- 0:07Speaker 3: Hey?
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hi?
- 0:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 0:08Speaker 2: I really crazy Etsy story. I don't have crazy, but
- 0:12Speaker 2: definitely infuriating on some levels.
- 0:15Speaker 5: And Etsy story. This is because Peyton, you bought, you
- 0:17Speaker 5: buy someone Etsy, So you bought.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Yeah. I had got in one of those really cool
- 0:21Speaker 4: led light signs that people get for their weddings with
- 0:24Speaker 4: the struck lands on it, and I sent like two
- 0:26Speaker 4: hundred bucks on it and it's not gonna be here, okay.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And so you have a fail. You have a fail
- 0:31Speaker 1: like that too, Valie.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Uh. Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So we do comic Con in our house and we
- 0:37Speaker 2: dress up every year, and my son wanted to be
- 0:40Speaker 2: red Hood, which is a Batman character, and we took
- 0:43Speaker 2: the time to make a really cool costume three D
- 0:46Speaker 2: printed a helmet, but we couldn't make the chess piece
- 0:49Speaker 2: because it's just really hard and they're really small. So
- 0:52Speaker 2: we went on Etsy and commissioned it for five hundreds
- 0:55Speaker 2: from somebody paid two hundred fifty dollars deposit, and we
- 0:59Speaker 2: gave like five months to get it done and they
- 1:02Speaker 2: just stopped communicating. A long story short, they didn't get
- 1:07Speaker 2: it finished, and I had to threaten them with like
- 1:10Speaker 2: small claims court before they sent us just like some
- 1:13Speaker 2: pieces of scrap fabric and some like three D printed
- 1:17Speaker 2: stuff in a box and it came late too.
- 1:21Speaker 3: On top of it, I feel like you can complain
- 1:23Speaker 3: to Etsy, like you can, you know, like because I
- 1:25Speaker 3: think you could rate the sellers like I think you'd
- 1:27Speaker 3: have to report them. Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 2: So he finally texted me and well, at first I
- 1:32Speaker 2: was like, send it to me. You know, I need receipts,
- 1:34Speaker 2: and he was just like, no, I don't have receipts
- 1:36Speaker 2: that I shipped it. And I was like, send me
- 1:38Speaker 2: the receipts to prove that you shipped it.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Couldn't do that.
- 1:40Speaker 2: And then when we finally got it, I talked it
- 1:42Speaker 2: over with the kid because they were My kid was nineteen,
- 1:44Speaker 2: so you know, it's like your money, what do you
- 1:46Speaker 2: want to do? Life learning moment and they were like, well,
- 1:49Speaker 2: the pieces are actually the right size and you know
- 1:52Speaker 2: how to sew, so could we just drop it and
- 1:54Speaker 2: you just helped me make it for next year? I said, yes,
- 1:57Speaker 2: we can, we can do that, and that's what we did.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Then it turned out often well if.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Alu, thanks for listening. Thanks for calling in a right. Thanks,
- 2:06Speaker 5: So that was your it was Etsy?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Is that what you did? Yeah? I got on Etsy.
- 2:09Speaker 5: So and so now your big wedding reception is tomorrow night?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yes, right?
- 2:15Speaker 5: So how many people are coming? Where is it? Will
- 2:17Speaker 5: give us a update of what have you been doing?
- 2:19Speaker 5: Did you have somebody help you?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Is it just you?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 4: So we're expecting about one hundred and ten one hundred
- 2:25Speaker 4: and twenty people. It's just going to be at our house.
- 2:27Speaker 4: So it's going to be really nice and it's going
- 2:28Speaker 4: to be a party. It's not really a reception. I'm
- 2:30Speaker 4: like kind of nervous because I don't want people to
- 2:33Speaker 4: like expect they're walking into like some big grand wedding
- 2:35Speaker 4: because it's literally just going to be like a house party.
- 2:38Speaker 4: So I'm a little stressed about that.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Just all about people's perception. Yeah, well probably also because
- 2:43Speaker 1: we're worried about that.
- 2:44Speaker 5: Well, part of it for me is because I saw,
- 2:45Speaker 5: I mean, your your baby or bridle shower.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Was like kind of foo foo the charts here.
- 2:50Speaker 5: So it's like when you saw and we saw that
- 2:52Speaker 5: the videos that were posted of you in this and
- 2:54Speaker 5: all these people in white, it was like a theme
- 2:55Speaker 5: and it was all first class, and so you're saying
- 2:57Speaker 5: it is not that.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I mean, it's going to be great. I'm just nervous
- 3:00Speaker 4: because it's not like we're going to be in a
- 3:02Speaker 4: venue like we were at the Hazley. It's gonna be
- 3:05Speaker 4: at our family home.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Well, you have doors, like, can we walk around a go?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Is this where you sleep?
- 3:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 3:09Speaker 1: I want to.
- 3:10Speaker 3: We want to see that.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I do not walk into it.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Tell those stories. We could be like, oh, yeah, your room, that.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Looks like the guest room. We don't really like we're
- 3:24Speaker 4: just living with my grandma right now. There's nothing like
- 3:27Speaker 4: personable about it.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I want to try out your grandma's toilet. Doesn't she
- 3:30Speaker 1: have like a toilet with a bideta?
- 3:31Speaker 4: She does have a day.
- 3:34Speaker 3: So it'll be like everyone kind of gets there and
- 3:36Speaker 3: just sort of hangs out. But you have like a
- 3:38Speaker 3: cigar bar up front.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we're having a cigar lounge out front. We're gonna
- 3:42Speaker 4: have a bartending service there as well. We're also going
- 3:45Speaker 4: to have a photo booth. So I'm really really excited.
- 3:49Speaker 4: It's gonna be some really awesome things. We're gonna have
- 3:51Speaker 4: a little pop shot basketball hoop because Kadem and I
- 3:53Speaker 4: literally met in a basketball gym, so I wanted to
- 3:56Speaker 4: do a little ode to.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That food truck.
- 3:59Speaker 4: No food truck. We're doing Codwells Codwall's barbecane and then
- 4:02Speaker 4: my sister in law Page is gonna be cooking all
- 4:05Speaker 4: the sides, and that girl can throw down in the kitchen.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So I'm pumped about that.
- 4:08Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm really excited. So we've gotten some Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 4: I kind of got a little hack for you guys.
- 4:13Speaker 4: So if you guys have like a little wedding or
- 4:14Speaker 4: an event that's coming up Walgreens, you can basically get
- 4:18Speaker 4: like those big huge prints out at Walgreens, right, like
- 4:21Speaker 4: your big welcome signs or pictures of like you and
- 4:24Speaker 4: your man, or a picture of you if you're doing
- 4:26Speaker 4: a birthday party. And then also they like create these banners, right.
- 4:30Speaker 4: So I got a two by six foot banner that
- 4:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna hang up, and I basically recreated the banner
- 4:37Speaker 4: that hung over our wedding chapel that says the Drama
- 4:40Speaker 4: wedding chapel. And I got all this step blown up,
- 4:43Speaker 4: and I got these three huge poster boards twenty by
- 4:46Speaker 4: thirty foot or twenty by thirty inches poster boards and
- 4:49Speaker 4: the six foot banner for sixty five dollars.
- 4:53Speaker 5: No, I know.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Walgreens has such good Their photo stuff is so like
- 4:57Speaker 3: fast and affordable, I know, right.
- 4:59Speaker 4: So I would and I got it in one day.
- 5:01Speaker 4: They were ready in like two hours. I went and
- 5:03Speaker 4: picked it up Walgreens I think until tomorrow or something
- 5:06Speaker 4: like that. They have a code it's six walls and
- 5:10Speaker 4: you can get sixty percent off of all your wallprints.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That's cool, genius.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah, go and use that and take advantage of it.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But always like.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Going to Walgreens, that one aisle that just has all
- 5:18Speaker 5: the weird cool stuff except cool stuff.
- 5:20Speaker 1: The sea.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Right here.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It used to be like the scene on TV. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's like all the weird stuff that you can do,
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, for sure.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I didn't browse Walgreens. I kind of got in and
- 5:31Speaker 4: out because I'm a little stressed. Our house is also
- 5:35Speaker 4: starting to be constructed, but also a lot of our
- 5:38Speaker 4: families staying with us as well. So this morning I
- 5:42Speaker 4: was a little frantic because I was running in and
- 5:44Speaker 4: I was running a little bit behind, and I had
- 5:46Speaker 4: forgotten my laptop in my car. I'd forgotten my purse
- 5:49Speaker 4: and all these things. And the reason is is I
- 5:51Speaker 4: woke up and it's like a full house, right, but
- 5:55Speaker 4: there's a starting to come exactly, my dad's family starting
- 5:58Speaker 4: to come in, Kadem's fan starting to come in, my
- 6:01Speaker 4: mom's sides family starting to come in. And I wake
- 6:03Speaker 4: up and I leave and I have my ritual, right,
- 6:06Speaker 4: I am truthful to you guys, not really a morning person.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Like when I wake up, I can be a little
- 6:11Speaker 4: bit of a beat, like I don't want to talk
- 6:13Speaker 4: to you until I get like my coffee. Right, So
- 6:16Speaker 4: I wake up and everyone's talking to me, So what
- 6:18Speaker 4: time you get away?
- 6:20Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm trying to make my moke up.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Okay, they're all out there hanging and so as I'm
- 6:29Speaker 4: out there, I'm starting to look for, like what is
- 6:32Speaker 4: my safety blanket, which happens to be my vake pen. Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 4: I'm looking everywhere for my vape pet I said, who
- 6:41Speaker 4: has it?
- 6:42Speaker 1: I know what a you sucker spoile it? Get it
- 6:45Speaker 1: to me.
- 6:45Speaker 4: And so there's a missing vape and I know I
- 6:49Speaker 4: know someone in that house has it and they're not
- 6:51Speaker 4: giving it to me.
- 6:52Speaker 1: People who looks like they're in the best mood. So
- 6:53Speaker 1: you didn't get it, No.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Nowhere to be found, can't find it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's not I'm not a vape person, vaped in my life,
- 7:00Speaker 1: but is it. It's not like you. I don't smoke
- 7:03Speaker 1: to me, but it's not like you misplaced it.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Oh I know, I put it next to the coffee
- 7:06Speaker 4: machine when I made my mocha.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Oh it was it this morning? Like you had it
- 7:10Speaker 1: in your hand this morning?
- 7:11Speaker 4: This morning?
- 7:12Speaker 1: How many people were awake?
- 7:14Speaker 5: Six?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Wow? Were these people awake? Were these people awake from
- 7:20Speaker 1: overnight or were they just getting there?
- 7:21Speaker 6: Like?
- 7:21Speaker 1: Were they up? Because you know when you're I read.
- 7:23Speaker 5: When I was a kid, when my Mexican relatives got around,
- 7:25Speaker 5: they were up all night. They were talking, playing cards, drinking, smoking,
- 7:29Speaker 5: and it was like, oh, I was so were they
- 7:31Speaker 5: just people just showing up at six or four am.
- 7:32Speaker 1: With just rolled up Yes.
- 7:35Speaker 4: So it was one of one of those things something you.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Wake up in the morning before you come in and
- 7:39Speaker 5: forget whether it's from there, and you vape before you
- 7:40Speaker 5: come in.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Weed. Yeah, so you're in here high every morning.
- 7:44Speaker 5: No, I know some very I know some very successful
- 7:50Speaker 5: people that function on weed. No. Wow.
- 7:55Speaker 4: When I'm like ready to crack and talk to you guys.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Know, is going to get myself in a good way? Okay?
- 8:00Speaker 5: Is there is there a strain of weed that gives
- 8:02Speaker 5: you energy? Because I'm used to So that's why you
- 8:04Speaker 5: come in here all like.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Wait, what's up all the time? Wow? I thought we
- 8:08Speaker 1: made you tired and slow if you.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Do like in Indica and you want to.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Go to bed. So what's the name of the one
- 8:12Speaker 1: you do?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Sativa?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Sativa? Isn't that some sort of sugar substitute? Not a
- 8:18Speaker 1: fan of Wow? The TV and that has energy? Usually
- 8:25Speaker 1: Peyton's in a fine mood. I've never had no idea
- 8:28Speaker 1: that it was. It was just.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Here in the morning.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I had no idea you were a customer from the
- 8:36Speaker 5: people in the TV show M I A. I had
- 8:40Speaker 5: no idea you were one of the the breaking bad people.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I finished that episode, the first episode last night of
- 8:47Speaker 1: M I A. It's real good. It's really shocking. Though.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm six episodes into this show. On Peak Hock it
- 8:53Speaker 1: called M I A.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I love it, and I got a bunch of message
- 8:55Speaker 5: from people that finished it already, and they said it's phenomenal.
- 8:58Speaker 1: How it ends.
- 8:58Speaker 5: It's the Ozark people, So you know, it's pretty good. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 5: and you haven't started year pretty rizly. But I did
- 9:03Speaker 5: finish the Michael Jackson documentary.
- 9:05Speaker 1: What Did You?
- 9:06Speaker 3: It's number one right now on Netflix.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Number one.
- 9:07Speaker 5: And see what number two is? No, it's another something
- 9:10Speaker 5: called The Witness just came out of as well.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I saw an ad for that.
- 9:15Speaker 5: But the Michael Jackson thing, it bothers me so much
- 9:18Speaker 5: because you're you're watching it and it's like, clearly this
- 9:23Speaker 5: guy's guilty, like.
- 9:25Speaker 1: No way that, there's like no way.
- 9:27Speaker 5: And then and then it's like because there's two cases.
- 9:30Speaker 5: There's nineteen ninety three in two thousand and five, right,
- 9:33Speaker 5: and there's boys that are accusing him in nineteen ninety three,
- 9:36Speaker 5: and then there's one family accusing him in two thousand
- 9:38Speaker 5: and five. And they bring the boys from two thousand
- 9:40Speaker 5: and from nineteen ninety three to testify in two thousand
- 9:43Speaker 5: and five, and those boys, Mcaulay Culkin being one of them,
- 9:46Speaker 5: from home alone saying nothing happened. Wade Robeson, Britney Spears's boyfriend,
- 9:50Speaker 5: saying nothing happened, nothing happened, and so that's why he
- 9:54Speaker 5: gets off. But why is he sleeping in bed with
- 9:57Speaker 5: these kids? It's so disturbing. And then here's the thing.
- 9:59Speaker 5: You remember that other documentary was it called Leaving Neverland
- 10:03Speaker 5: or Defending Neverland or something that came out of twenty seventeen.
- 10:07Speaker 5: So I went back to look at some stuff from that,
- 10:09Speaker 5: and Wade Robeson in that documentary says he lied in
- 10:12Speaker 5: two thousand and five.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I was going to bring that up because I imagine
- 10:15Speaker 3: it would be difficult.
- 10:17Speaker 1: He was just a kid, you know what I mean.
- 10:19Speaker 1: But apparently his credibility's out the window now because because
- 10:21Speaker 1: he's fluffed back and forth. He flopped back.
- 10:23Speaker 5: But also when he made that documentary and through Michael
- 10:26Speaker 5: Jackson on the bus in twenty seventeen, he had been
- 10:28Speaker 5: shot down for two job offers from Michael Jackson's estate.
- 10:32Speaker 5: I mean, and then you find out that the kid
- 10:33Speaker 5: in the new documentary, his family did a whole try
- 10:38Speaker 5: to sup J. C.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Penny.
- 10:40Speaker 5: The mom said she got molested in the parking lot
- 10:41Speaker 5: by security guard. So it's like they have a history.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I mean, it's like how they discredit the people in
- 10:46Speaker 3: for But there was other things that were.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Like I feel like ignored.
- 10:49Speaker 5: There's so many, like the dude Michael Jackson had a
- 10:52Speaker 5: pattern I mean, it's so disturbing.
- 10:54Speaker 4: He ever defended himself or spoken out about Michael Jackson.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, there's videos of him saying I did
- 11:00Speaker 1: do any of this stuff. So disturbing. Nicole, good morning,
- 11:03Speaker 1: what's up here in the air.
- 11:06Speaker 6: I just wanted to say, like, for Peyton, you waken, bake,
- 11:10Speaker 6: that's what that's called.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Wake up.
- 11:13Speaker 6: It's so we wake and big. That's really gang I do.
- 11:17Speaker 6: And if you have all of those people coming from
- 11:20Speaker 6: different places, like places in the States. Yeah, so when
- 11:25Speaker 6: you stole your your pen, they're like, what this like,
- 11:29Speaker 6: you probably should just have welcome packages for your family
- 11:33Speaker 6: and have like a couple of joints, club babe, some
- 11:37Speaker 6: edibles because you're not ever gonna get your pin back.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Girl, Nicole, You're so right, but good thing. The Mint
- 11:43Speaker 4: Dispensary is actually coming through for our wedding party and
- 11:46Speaker 4: they're hooking like my family up got back?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Are babes expensive? Like how much?
- 11:52Speaker 5: Well?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I use a specific.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Brand, like I am how good?
- 11:56Speaker 4: I'm a timeless girl, Like I like my timeless carts
- 11:59Speaker 4: and so my time this battery is like sixty bucks
- 12:01Speaker 4: and then my like if I don't get them on sale,
- 12:04Speaker 4: they can be like fifty sixty dollars.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Yeah, peace, but you can get cheaper ones. It's like
- 12:10Speaker 6: if I'm not saying I smoke, if anybody's listening that
- 12:13Speaker 6: I work with, but deeper one from people that don't
- 12:17Speaker 6: like if you're not used to smoking, can get like,
- 12:20Speaker 6: you know, a twenty one solid one. But yeah, you're gangs.
- 12:25Speaker 6: You wake and bake bad Wild.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Nicole, Thank you for listening to Cold, Thanks for calling in.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Have a great day, no worries,
