- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: Hey everybody, welcome to cheesy popcorn.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Annavar.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: I am one of the co-hosts of the show.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also one of the co-hosts of a show on the rise network called Can I Call You That, which would be starting up again pretty soon for our season three, which would be interesting.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm here with my good friend Chris Miles.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, why don't you introduce yourself?
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you would, please, and I'll let you go on and do your introduction there.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: You sure whatever you're ready.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: You sure.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go right ahead.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely positive.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, do it.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead, which requires you to not say anything.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: It does.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I won't
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: everybody have a Christmas.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's the new I'm music room.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: The right network.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's such a player.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's so hilarious.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: So welcome to the podcast.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is episode.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: See, I don't have everything pulled up like I should.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's episode 36.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, so welcome to the show.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: Er is Ed Sullivan.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: You say welcome to the show.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: This week, we're going to talk about the two movies reviewed.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: You want to see W or DWP2, which he's not even paying attention.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: So whatever, and I want to see animal farm, DWP2, of course, is devilware's product, too.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll also talk about the rules that are coming out this weekend.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: There's quite a few of them that are kind of interesting.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: One that is a live presentation.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not really live, but it is a presentation of a tour, a rather big pop star.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll talk about what movie we're going to review next week.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then last but not least,
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: uh... this show is going to be about western so we'll talk about some of our favorite western movies maybe uh... if you haven't seen any you couldn't take a look at that but let's get things kicked off with uh... what's going to be in the theater's or in streaming services or next week so you're or well this friend and handle that since i usually do that but i'll let you do it this week
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: You'll never do that because you never have the right information as a matter of fact Today, but when you sat down to talk about the episode you were like right So the movie that's coming out next week is a young Washington and I'm like no That's not even coming out to July the third but that's your fault because you told me I thought Google in and start using fan-danger But you didn't did but you didn't even Google you pulled up an email that you got from fan-danger You know, it's a lie.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: You want to their website.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that is not their website.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: That is their website
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: That is not their website of movies that are coming out March, or sorry, not March.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: April May, I'll get it right one of these days, May the 8th.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: If you went to the website and you actually typed in movies coming out May the 8th, it would not have brought up young Washington, which comes out on July the 3rd.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, let's talk about the movie.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: We can't.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: I can vote.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: The sheep detectives, which actually looks pretty funny.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: You, you, you, that's how you said in Australia, you, how about you, you, it's not you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you, what are you,
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: too.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: I would never play the game.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's your loss.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, Billy, I wish hit me hard and soft the tour live in 3D.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Although I don't know how it could be live in 3D when it's in the theaters and it actually has to be in a film format in order to be weird.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll leave it at that.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably because they filmed the video, they filmed a live concert and then they're going to put it in 3D.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to wear those funky.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Funky glasses remember when you have to work use some of those glasses that were like red and blue and they were paper They were cardboard and they cut your ear They cut the top of your ear.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: They cut your ear.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because they were like it was like a paper cut FD watch to move.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably because you have a misshaped head.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: It well, that is true But that's beside the point
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's also a line from a movie.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: You have a mischaped hat, and so she said, yeah, exactly, wow, how long did it take us to go there?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, anyway, and then last but not least, remarkably bright creatures, which is going to be a Netflix about light bulbs, I think, no, it's not.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: You sure?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm absolutely positive.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're a Michael would be bright, then who stars in it?
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: Um, GE, um, Westin' House, Slovenia, Slovenia,
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a young rapper, L-E-D, L-E-D, oh, okay, nice, L-E-D, the rapper, L-E-D, the rapper, okay, there you go, and you would be wrong, wrong, and wrong, and further wrong, and further wrong, and even more so wrong, actually Sally Field was in it, Sally Field, she's still around, she's still around, she's still around, she's like you, well that was the character
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: They never are in the movie because that would have been the only real part of that whole movie do you really watch movies Yeah, do you think that Sally field died in that movie she died in four's gum the character not her What I'm just saying yeah, yeah, okay.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: I clap for that by the way, but you did I did yeah
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: But it looks pretty interesting.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: She's a caretaker at a aquarium, and a new man, a younger man, comes in.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: She thinks he's her replacement.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but he's not.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then their life kind of ensues from that.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: She teaches him the ropes on what to do as far as the aquarium is concerned on the upkeep.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: and then she learns that there's more to life and so does he and all that kind of stuff.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: It looks interesting, it also looks very, what's the word I'm looking for.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: You make what it's quirky, quirky.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it looks like it might be a quirky thumb.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, but I think we both agreed that we're going to go see the sheep detectives.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, you're going to, yeah.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're going to go see the sheep detectives.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Have you said to the aquarium in Chicago, by the way?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: A long time ago.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: You made one of the best aquariums in the world.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt it.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's awesome.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: No, there's one in, there's one in, outside of Cleveland or higher, in Cleveland or higher, that I think is actually better than our aquarium.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there's the Cleveland.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's your personal opinion, which means absolutely nothing to most of us.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: So there we go.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty much everybody.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: But what I found that I went to the aquarium when I, what I found ironic was that if you go to the cafeteria and get fish sticks, I thought that was just wrong.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: You probably didn't have to worry about fish sticks.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, oh, so when a beluga dies, especially on fish sticks, you're eating it.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: They don't say it.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: They don't actually put beluga in fish sticks.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: You sure?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know that.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Because the whales are mammal.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: Just so you know.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: So are we.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: People eat us.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: People eat people?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you must be a cannibal.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that that Barbara Streisand song people people who eat people and And and and Barbara Streisand is just shaking her head right now going please stop
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's looking at James Brolin right now.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's not starry eyes.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she's not.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so she protects us what we picked on.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Sheep detectives and not sheep detectives, which is the Peter Fock movie, which is very funny if you like Peter Fock, which I do.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: You should go see it.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: Are you done?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Almost.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: The reason why the Cleveland Aquarium is better to me than the Aquarium in Chicago, because they have a portion of the actual aquarium where the glass does not go all the way up.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: So you can actually look over the glass and see the creatures.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: that are going to do that because that's cooler that's like actual real life like if you were actually down by the swamp or down by the bayou or you down by the river down by the creek could just just imagine you've been looking down you see them right there now you know this aquarium has a walkthrough where you're surrounded by water that's great but you can't actually like you can't touch anything well you want to touch a shark but I like to touch a sting right or I'd like to touch a thing I'd like to touch some frogs and all that kind of stuff
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Brookfield Zoo has an exhibit with stinger talk about aquariums not fricking zoo's here pal Let's stay on the same subject.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: I got a touchable little guy.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know if ever told you that I went back You touch a back of the scenes of the aquarium.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: I did a documentary with they in burns who used to be big on channel 7 in your own words You touch a blue guy every day, but nobody believes you so anyway
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it, they're really super soft.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a puffer fish.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what she saw.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're mammals.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there you go.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you knew that.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't, but thank you.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for rectifying that whole thing.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't mean they can't make good fish sticks.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: But tell you over there.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anytime to the special on fish sticks at the aquarium, you know, a couple of fish died.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: And you probably killed them from your gas.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, good of it.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of gas.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of gas.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: How was the devil wars product?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: Two.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: I was hoping to go see it with doors, but it didn't work out, timing didn't work out because I had a gig last night at a Mexican restaurant, a homework line cut set of antinos if you ever in that area, it's a great Mexican food.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, did you actually have some of the Mexican food?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: I did not last night, but I have in the past.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, because if you haven't eaten there, how do you know the food?
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: Who's on 4th gig there is a trio, so yeah.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: And the trio's got trio Magos, so if you look us up, was one of you, were you all wearing the outfits and the hats?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, Magos has Spanish redemines magic.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so we picked it because we believe music in the arts in general, tend to be magical because they bring people of all the verse cultures together.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: everybody can go see Bruce Springsteen or Lady Gaga and not worry about who the people are the next year down the road for me, so that's where music does.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Merrill Street, second in number two.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, she just kind of seemed to just kind of be there, sort of, and half the way she just, you know, pretty much the same thing.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: It was different than proud of one.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: How was it different than the proud of one?
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was just different.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to give anything away.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: But it was different than proud of one.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can't say that it was different than proud of one.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: And not it was in this fast paced.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: You got it.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: I thought the writing was not as good.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: There is a transition here.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not what you would expect a lot less comedy.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: When you tell people that you're going to transition, you need to like say spoiler alert or something.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: I said there's, but I didn't say who it was.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: There's a whole lot less comedy in this one than the first one.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's a show.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: The writing was not as sharp, the directing was in his crisp.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: They had like three or four characters in this movie that were just what I call throwaway characters.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: They were there, but they didn't even need to be there, really.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: Which I hate when they do stuff like that.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: On a happy note,
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: The music track worked really well.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: The soundtrack, you know, I would say the music has to move the visual and this did.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: All the music fit were out.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: There is a moment with a with a big sire.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: I won't say who it is because then I want to give it away.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: And it just kind of came out of nowhere and just really didn't seem to fit.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: What I watch it again, I probably would go watch it again.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I might go see with Doris actually at the theaters.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'd give it a 7.5.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: You'd go see it again.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go see it again.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's a fun movie.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a fun movie.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's not as good as the original in my opinion.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think the original had more character development, it had better writing, it had more fast pace directing, had a lot more comedy, Stanley Tucci, as you know, he's one of my favorite actors, he's always fun to watch, and he brought this roll back, but it was minimal at best, not like the first one.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: In the first movie he was writing your face, and that's where a lot of the comedic stuff came from, was Stanley, and was just wasn't there.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, I give it a seven and a half, I mean, it's, I think again, you want to go out on a date movie and you want to, you know, have a, just kind of sit there and, and let your brain kind of take a break, this is your movie.
- 12:39[UNKNOWN]: Gotcha.
- 12:39[UNKNOWN]: Anything else?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: Not a Oscar, not, not an Oscar, not for, not for, not for, not for, not for, not for, not for, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not,
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, here's the other thing that I thought, as I was, when I thought I was watching this movie, really.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: Just when you thought he was done.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: And this tells you how it's not as well as the first one.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Because the first movie I watched and really enjoyed everything about it.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: All the three different stories going on in the first movie that I'll work really well together.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: This one doesn't seem to have that, but what I thought because a lot of the scenes are shot at people's big ass homes, like really rich people.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know, nobody needs a house to this big kind of attitude, I guess, some throw that out there for you.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to see how rich people live and go back to your two bedroom house, then there you go.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: You done no?
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Because you weren't last time.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: I am done.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, finished.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: I went to go see a movie by the title of Animal Farm, which was a fun book, which sort of.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: Aminated.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Let's sell people.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Can I talk, or do you want to talk?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: What's sometimes you leave that out?
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I was getting to that and you just don't have the patience to let me talk.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: I can't have any patience because I'm not a doctor.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that sounds like a problem.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, it is an animated version.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, supposedly, was there a version, isn't it?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, it is an animated version of what was supposed to be an adaptation of the novel.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: However, it's nothing like that.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, even though there is a nod to like Stalin and during the book, Napoleon, I read half of it and read all of it.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: So you were the animal part, but not the farm part.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: You can't not read the farm park.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's a whole freaking story.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: What did you see what I did there?
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't do it, I didn't do it.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't help me, too.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so it's got a great cast and that's kind of what and the previous kind of made me go, this looks like it might be fun.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of those movies where the previews sell more than what's the movie is actually about.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just going to say this, don't get duped by the previews like I did because you're going to end up finding out that animal farm is kind of an animal
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: As a matter of fact, I wouldn't give it more than three stars.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's a lowest you've ever given anything.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, it ruins the story about the Russian revolution, which is what animal farm is all right.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: There is the only nod to a Russian.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: And actually, obviously, honestly, there's like Napoleon, and that's it.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: And he's not even Russian.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: But it totally changed the storyline.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, the pigs take over, sorry, that's a spoiler alert.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: They also show that in the preview.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not really a spoiler alert.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: If you say it's live action animation, right?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's not cartoony.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: It explained your definition of cartoony versus live action.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, cartoony where they actually paint animated like Mickey Mouse.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but they more animals.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're going to go the route of is it more of a Disney versus a Pixar?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's more of a Pixar.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: So it's actual, it's cartoon animation and it's like digital animation talking talking.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's animals talking but not real animals talking.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's animated, digital animated.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: If you would, like, just let me talk for a second.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: You would understand that it's digital animation.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: You ever notice how when you give your reviews, I don't say a lot, but whenever I give my reviews, you talk all over me.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I'm going to say about that.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: And now while he's looking it up, I'll actually have a chance to talk.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to talk really quickly.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: Seth Rogan is in the movie, Glenn closest in the movie with surprising enough.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: Steve Bushemi is in the movie, as well as Kathleen Turner, Andy Circus.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think I or Cirques, Cirques, I think is how you say his name.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Woody Harrelson's in it.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Jim Parsons is in it, which is kind of funny because you can't.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: you almost can't recognize his voice and then once you realize who it is you're like oh yeah okay um it's got a great cast uh it's fun in that sense Seth Rogan is kind of uh i guess you would kind of call the star of the movie at least he's got top billing
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: Outside of that though, it falls flat.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the story is interesting and then it just turns into like one whole big like, yeah, I'm better than you and I'm going to prove I'm better than you and I'm going to exile you because this is how I'm going to get my way.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just, it's like a big bully movie is really what it boils down to.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and I mean, well, yes, I can understand how.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: Someone might have taken the novel and looked at it and go, well, yeah, Stalin was a bully.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, fine, but there's more to it than just that.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: They do at the very end try to put in like a good moral story, moral to the story and say that we should all get along and we should all be friends and it doesn't matter.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they claim it doesn't matter.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: All animals are animals, right?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: And all animals are equal is what they say in the movie.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Except for bacon, only one animal makes bacon.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: That takes it right today.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what does that have anything to do with the animals being equal?
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: Just to hear your voice is basically what it pulls down to.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Even in the previews.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, let's talk about the actual experience of the movie.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Is it roll-written and it's okay.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the story moves.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's not...
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: It gets a little slow in some small little parts, but it moves for the majority of it.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very interesting way of trying to retell the story, so to speak.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: There are some funny moments in it.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: There's some real good friendship type moments in it, but there's also some real bad, like friendship moments in it too.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: There was probably about six, five or six kids in the theater when I went to go see it, which here's the thing, parents.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: You said it was crowded in the theater, correct?
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: I said the theater was crowded.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't say our theater was crowded, and that's probably because everybody was there to watch Devil Words' Prada, too.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because it was Tuesday night, that's kind of the night that a lot of the...
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: The $5 show.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Right, it's the $5 show.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right, exactly.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: And so a lot of people were there for that.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: Or there could have been something else going on.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't really paying attention.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: Apparently.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: And though, to the crowd, please, you know, if you're going to drop your comments, at least drop them the right way.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, so Animal Farm, like I said, three stars out of all of that, see this is the thing, you keep saying something, and then you pull me off course of what I actually wanted to say.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: And make a point about what I wanted to talk about as far as the movie is concerned.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Kieran Kalkin is in the movie as well too.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: And so it was Kathleen Turner and Steve was shaming.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: I said Kathleen Turner, I said Steve was shaming.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you were actually paying attention, instead of looking at your funny hairlson?
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I did.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: OK. You done it Jim Parsons?
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: Three times.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: I talked about Jim Parsons.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: And how you almost don't recognize his voice in the movie.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone else you want to bring up?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: But I've already mentioned.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: OK, you sure?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: OK, finish up.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: All right, you sure?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to allow me that, that, that, that opportunity too.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the thing, the preview itself even says so parents, this movie is not for kids under the age of 11.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, and it's really not.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: The, the themes in it are very, there's, it's gotten a very adult theme in it.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of bullying in it.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't think that it's a movie that kid should be at.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing too is that if you're going to bring your kids to the movies,
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: We had two kids that went in the movie and don't get me wrong here.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: I realized when I thought to say we'll probably paint me in a bad light, but it's okay to react to the movie.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's not okay to talk during the whole movie about what's going on and all this other stuff.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just movie etiquette.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's basic movie etiquette and it really has no place.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing too is that there's a reason why they tell you to sign in your cell phones while you're there.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I we had a parent that was literally on her cell phone almost the entire time and I could hear half of what was going on in our cell phone Oh my gosh, but that's not why I'm I'm I'm rating the video the way or the movie the way I'm it really just wasn't it was kind of like me I'm glad I paid five dollars.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: You had I have hopes
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know because you didn't want to go see Proud.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to go see that.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have high hopes.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just thought that this would be interesting.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it was a good contrast to Devore's Proud because I don't feel even though you said so.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel like the Devore's Proud is a movie that I would enjoy at all.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think you would.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I disagree with you because I watch previews.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: And you're, and like I said, you're entitled to your own dumb stupid opinion.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: So there's that.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, I just, it's, it just doesn't interest me.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: And there are people that know me really well that I have talked to and said, hey, Devore is proud of two.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to review this week.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, you're not going to see it, are you?
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I go, no, why?
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, because you probably won't like it at all.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, yeah, too.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody actually said that to me.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think it's somebody who actually thinks about me and actually has like my best interest in heart or in mind because I probably would not enjoy those movies.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason why I didn't see the first one in the first place.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, I digress.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's a review for the week.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: I actually got to talk for once, so that's amazing.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Although you still didn't interrupt me.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: So westerns westerns favorite westerns of all time.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you have at least 20 of them because this is your favorite category Well, I guess so I'm gonna let you talk, but I'm gonna interrupt you.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Just as much as you in her up.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's because you know well first but for that.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you got to say he's John Wayne Westerns over there, but I have his favorite to mine his very last movie Which was which is what?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: kind of based on his real life actually, is the shootest.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it's his last movie with Jimmy Stewart too.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: It was really good.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: Ron Howard's in it.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Jimmy's steward.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, be.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: And Anne Bancroft is in it.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's Anne Bancroft.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: I have to look it up.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I think so.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, that was one of his original movies with Stage Coach, which was a black and white where he plays Ringo, which was a gunfighter, all the way to the shootest.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that there's many movies in between there that are westerns.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: He did a couple of goofy detective movies that were kind of stupid, but all of his westerns in between Stage Coach, actually the first one was Angel in the Batman.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: which was his first Western and then stage coach was a really, really good one, but not on my favorite list.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Those are just, if you like questions, you like time Wayne.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's pretty much it.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: First, favorite, on-brain.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: with Paul Newman.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a really subtle, it's not a really a shoot-em-up kind of a western.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of subtle, but there is a really cool nod to the indignities thrust upon Native Americans in this country by Paul Newman who plays a white guy who is raised by Indians by Native
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: ends up going back into quote unquote white society because he inherits a house from a white guy that sort of adopted him when he was little even though he went back to live with the Native American.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: So there's some really good stuff in there.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: There's some good Western typical Western stuff, but it also has that second tombstone.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: the latest tombstone with Kurt Russell and Valkymart.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: Valkymart maybe one of his best roles in my opinion, playing back holiday, unforgiving with Eastwood, Freeman and Hackman, quick into dead with Sharon Stone, Jean Hackman, Russell Crowe, another good one.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Here's one that I don't think a lot of people
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe our familiar with it's Kevin Costner, Robert DuVal, and a net bending in a Western called Open Range, which is just, it's just a really good Western.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to, like, walk away from it, because the story, it just, it's so well written, and so well acted.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: You said Kevin Costner's in it?
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Not hard for me to walk away from.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: In Open Range, you don't like Kevin Costner?
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot stand him.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Are you kidding me?
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Do I look like I'm kidding you?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Not at the moment.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I like them.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: You mind liking them and just give it a shot if you like Western.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: Says the guy who says I'm going to like devil words product.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: No, anyone.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: If you would just give it a chance.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're probably not like broccoli when you were a kid and you probably eat it now.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now you sound like my mother.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: Your mother.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you would just give it a chance.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Just give it a try it.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so that's my those there's a lot more questions like you know, I love West holy macro that's it I could watch that you were gonna talk for like another 20 minutes now.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: I just gave you my tops My tops your tops.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: I good throw out low-josey whales in there too like the like the baseball car So my tops.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm done.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: So the one you may go
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: 1,000, 1,000, 1,000, 2, 1,000, 3.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I can't go now.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go now.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: because there's a million other movie categories outside of westerns.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: There's even contemporary westerns.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen some of those civil rato, a jango, some of those jango.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: Except for Team Stone.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a lot out there.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: I would not call the tomb.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would not call tombstone a contemporary Western at all.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean contemporary in the sense that it's a remade in the sense in the sense that it was filmed in the 80s and the 90s?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: Contemporary Western would have something to do with the fact that it does not go back to the Western.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: Tombstone goes back to the Western times.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: Contemporary Western like no country for old men,
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's a contemporary but that is a but that it when people when I'm Western it's a guy going around killing people.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's considered a contemporary Western because nobody can ride the horse because of the fact are you done?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: Are you done?
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Are you done?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because of the fact that it has a Western style to it.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's about the goodbyes, the good guys and the bad guys and all that other stuff that goes on.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the good bad in the ugly.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the other movie that then so every movie is a West, but it's a good man, but it's a Western, but it's set in the south.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: So what?
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I'm not, so I was Mississippi, Bernie.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, that's not a Western.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I'm not the people who come up with these categories.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, who came up with that?
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: I got to write a letter.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: You can talk to Ascap.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: I will.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Good Lord.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: All I'm trying to do is get through my movies and you have to write every six, three, and minutes.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: It says you know, Westerns are a big thing with me.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know they are, but they're not a big one team with no country for all men, a Western is ridiculous.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Contemporary, Western, clean out the shit in your ears.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, not even contemporary.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: You have everybody has a right to their own dumb stupid opinion.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: I told you that numerous stuff, but I'm right.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're not.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're not right.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's categorized as a contemporary Western, whether you like it or not.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's categorized.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: And you're entitled to that thought.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: But other people also entitled to the fact that it is a contemporary Western.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: We've already heard what you said.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to say it anymore.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: You can the same thing about Michael Keaton and Batman.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're done.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the ones that we agree on, it's the only Western movie I think I've ever seen.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, that's not true.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: I've also seen the Magnificent 7, but I did not see the original Magnificent 7.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: I saw the remake Magnificent 7.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Which was actually fuck you, really good.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Go watch the original.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to watch the original.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know why?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because those Western movies are boring as hell.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: They move so slow and all you Oh, hey cowboy watch me coming with my sex shirt or while I spatoon over here on the side That's what it's all about
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: You got to watch you.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: For the lamp your hands.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to watch nothing.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to watch.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: And we've already said that.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the magnificent seven, the remake with Denzel Washington was fairly good.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was entertaining.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: You're entitled to think what you want to think.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's my list.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: Not yours.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: The other.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then the only other question I saw because you brought it up.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, I did see that when I was a kid.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: I saw tombstone.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't care for it.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: Then the current Russell one.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the one with white orp and we're all like, uh, what's his name now.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: Come or yes, I saw it back in like the 90s because I'm not a Western guy.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's put it this way.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: The kind of movies I used to watch as a kid were like space movies.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then that movie that I'm just thinking about now, the space movie that came out in like the 80s.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Kevin Cawster was in it.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: And there are few good, no, not a few good men.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: What the hell was it?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's a space movie from like the 80s where it was huge and all the adults loved it, everything like that.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I went to go see it as a kid.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, do you want one?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was like, I think it was with John Glenn,
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: And a couple other one the the right stuff the right stuff the right stuff.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's what it's called That wasn't cost no, I don't think was I like I said I saw it when I was a kid I don't remember I said it could have had costs are in it.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: No, I thought it was hanks time hanks So Sam Shepherd is in it.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Tom Wolf is oh wait.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not that Sam Shepherd Scott Glenn Ed Harris Ed Harris
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: see I get confused at Harris with Tom Hanks.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: Dennis Quaid.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: I am wrong.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know Dennis Quaid and what's it in that related right name is not in there.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah but that's the movie I'm thinking about and to me those were the that's one of the movies that I actually thought was good even though when I was a kid I was like this movie's boring is out because it's not a movie a kid should be watching this is beyond us with you.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a good movie.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: Scott Glenn is in it too.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think I mentioned him.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then Fred Ward, I think those are all the guys that play like you weren't to space.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: So it was Chuck Eager, so Chuck Eager, Alan Shepard, John Glenn, Gordon Cooper, and then Gus Grimson were all of like the astronauts or pilots or whatever that were in the movie and that's what that whole thing was about.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: So we're on two sides of defense here.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a western guy, you're a space and horror movie guy.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: space science fiction action fiction to comic book movies all that kind of stuff.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: So there you go.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: Your extensive list versus my three lists is pretty much like six movies.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: You have at least 12 more that you don't even mention.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I have a ton more that's exactly that's my point.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: I go all the way back to high noon with Gary Cooper.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, which if you watch
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I would not consider blazing settles on Western, would you?
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: Of course I would.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, then I've seen four westerns because I've seen blazing that will see you didn't say that.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't categorize it as a western.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's a comedy.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's a classical comedy about western movies.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's a total parody.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely, but it's still a western.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't consider it to be a western.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: They ride horses and they shoot guns.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so any movie where they ride horses and shoot guns.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: So guess what?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: They shoot guns and contemporary western.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_00]: So there you go.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we're done.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: They don't ride horses.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: They shoot guns that's half of the argument right there.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so next week, we're going to talk about worst castings.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: I know this is one that you have been like waiting with baited breath-off related breath.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, we'll talk about our review of the Sheep Detectives and we'll bring you up to date about some of the great movies that are coming out.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: We might even talk a little bit about some of the blockbusters that are coming out because Mortal Kombat 2 would be considered like the beginning of the summer blockbuster movies.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: Although I don't think I'd classify it as that.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: but it's the start of it and there's some great movies to look forward to so it might chitchat about that a little bit next week as well too but of course as always thank you guys so much for listening we appreciate your comments and and the the conversations that we get into it because of it we do this for you guys we do it to entertain you fun

- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: We have some media sense, though, because we do have some experience in media, so we have, it's not like we're coming here with nothing.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: I've done documentaries, I produced TV shows, you've done radio, you've done theater, you've done, you know, we have experience.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're not just coming here blind.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but we're not, we're not like, so I wouldn't compare it to Cisco and Ebert.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're dead.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, thank you.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't compare us to, what was it, was it fine?
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: Who was the other guy that?
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: the guy that came in after him.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was Jeffrey something.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: Jeffrey finds or something like that.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think was the guy that replaced lions.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's the Jeffrey lions.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then who's the guy in channel nine Dean?
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's not there anymore.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, he's not.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: Which, which I was shocked about.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of like Dean Richards.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Dean Richards.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of, his reviews, I took more to heart and Cisco and he was better.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he was more objective.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then of course the contemporary reviewers that are out there right now that you can find all over YouTube as well too, which by the way, you can catch our episodes on YouTube as well.
