- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome back to empower your soul with Nicole.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm here with a quickie.
- 0:05Speaker 1: That's kind of a spoof off of the last podcast I did, but I want to talk about it because this topic came up in a client session and I just want mediums to be aware of the words they're using and how they impact clients and also clients.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I want you to realize the words mediums and other professionals are using and it's okay if it's not in alignment.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So here's the situation.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Here was the breakdown.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Had a wonderful client meeting this morning and I called out that there's no more lessons for her to learn here and she said yeah, you're right.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I've been to two other mediums who've told me this is my last time incarnating here on earth.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And I started scratching my head and I'm like that didn't feel right to me and I said I know that other mediums have told you this, but I need you to know that's not true.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's up to you, that's up to your soul.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And I said I want you to know there's a difference between coming here to learn lessons and coming here for vacation and for having fun.
- 1:05Speaker 1: And, by the way, I don't think our soul wastes any time because I think, even though you might not have any lessons to learn.
- 1:11Speaker 1: There's always something to learn.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We don't stop learning as souls.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Could you imagine?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Could you imagine?
- 1:17Speaker 1: So I'm just hearing the word farce in my head, right?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Could you imagine coming here and not learning lessons?
- 1:23Speaker 1: We all learn lessons.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Farce in my head, right?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Could you imagine coming here and not learning lessons?
- 1:26Speaker 1: We all, we all learn lessons, big or little, every time we come here.
- 1:31Speaker 1: But what, what I do agree with with those other mediums is that she didn't have any major lessons to learn.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I do agree with that.
- 1:34Speaker 1: But I think it is probably unethical for us to tell somebody that you're not coming here again, because what that ended up sparking in my client is almost this like ego response of me me, I'm done, I'm not coming here anymore.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And then that creates an ego trip for her, almost like hey, I'm better than everybody else, I don't have to come here again.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So that's like reaction number one.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And then reaction number two is holy shit, I'm not coming here again.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I now need to go see the world.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I need to see everything that I can see, because I'm not coming back here again.
- 2:11Speaker 1: This is my last chance.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I need to make the most of it, right.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So think about how the words of those mediums resulted in my client having this almost visceral reaction of holy shit, I'm done.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I don't feel done, but I believe them.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm going to go change my behaviors and change what I'm going to do in my lifetime, knowing I'm not coming back here again.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And I Think about it like that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And I think this is just one example of many, many, many unlimited number of examples that on why words are so important as professionals doing this work to clients.
- 2:51Speaker 1: So if you're a professional, I'll get to.
- 2:54Speaker 1: If you're this, if you're the receiver of this information in a minute.
- 2:57Speaker 1: But if you're a professional, I want you to think about the words you use and the words that you take away empowerment from your sitters or your clients.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Because if I walked in and I told that client you're not coming back here again, where do you think that's coming from?
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'm essentially limiting the choices of her soul and telling her, like the limitations of her soul and too bad, so sad.
- 3:25Speaker 1: If you want to come back here again, you're not coming back here again, right?
- 3:28Speaker 1: That's a very different story than hey, you're all done learning your lessons, so you're here to have a fun life, and then you get to decide what you want to do next, because I don't think and that's exactly how I phrased it to her I'm not, I'm not going to tell you you're not going to come here again because that's up to you and that's up to your soul, but I'm letting you know you don't have to come here again If you don't want to.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And just changing the slight way I said that it's not that you're not coming here again so that you don't have to come here again.
- 3:59Speaker 1: That's up to you.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Because, ultimately, what was interesting about this client is she is so tied to the earth, like the earth loves her.
- 4:07Speaker 1: She loves the earth, she loves being here.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So she will keep coming back just because she loves being here, with all the beauty and all of the physical, like sight, smell, sounds, everything.
- 4:19Speaker 1: She just loves being here.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So I truly believe that she will come back.
- 4:22Speaker 1: She will not come back to learn lessons.
- 4:24Speaker 1: She'll come back because she wants to.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So pay attention to the words that you're using, professionals, and if you're ever using the word like, never should always like.
- 4:37Speaker 1: These are the guilt, trippy words that people are going to latch onto and and probably going to like.
- 4:42Speaker 1: If you're someone like me.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Nothing is always true.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Nothing is never true.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Right Like so.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Whenever I hear those extreme things, I'm like this this doesn't work for me.
- 4:53Speaker 1: There's something wrong with you, because the future is yet to be written.
- 4:57Speaker 1: There's many decisions I don't know about.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I don't even know what my other lives were.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't even know what my soul path is.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I don't know about.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't even know what my other lives were.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't even know what my soul path is.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I don't know what lessons I need to learn.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I don't know where I am in the spirit world.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So how can you tell me where I am and what I should be doing, or what I, what I'm never going to do again?
- 5:13Speaker 1: It just doesn't.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Does not make sense to me.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It does not make sense to me, and I'm not saying that those professionals are unethical.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think they just need to take a look at the words they're using, because I have no doubt they're feeling certain things for a reason, but they need to work on the words they're using, because it is setting up expectations or or creating responses and clients that they don't intend.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So let me switch the curve, then, because, as a client, if you're hearing always never should you need to, you need to like, take the information but also, you know, put on your glasses and be like does it really make sense?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Because all the professionals are doing, including myself, are interpreting energy.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So what we get from spirit, from your guides, from your loved ones, on the other side, it's like energetic charades.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I get a feeling.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I have to figure out what that feeling is and give it to you, and as little bias and transformation as possible, so that you can take it and understand it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Great example from the same client this morning is me tapping into her husband's energy.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm saying he's really jealous.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And she's like well, no, she's not, he's not really jealous.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And I'm like all right, hang on a second.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And I had to go back and check with the energy and it wasn't jealous energy, it was protective energy and I read it as jealous.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But when I got back, when she said no, I went back to just check on it and I saw it from a different angle.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm like oh wait, he's protective.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He puts you in a bubble.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I read that as jealousy.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He doesn't want other people to see you.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But I misinterpreted that, as I'm protective of you.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It goes inward, not outward.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You know what I mean, like the energy went inward to her protection, instead of outward, deflecting energy that's coming her way.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If that makes sense, you professionals might understand.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So it is very easy for me to misread or use the wrong words with energy, not because of bad intentions, just because it comes in so quick and so quiet and so subtly that and I'm trying to spit it out of my mouth as fast as possible, because the more it sits in my body, the more it sits in my brain and my energy, the more likely I am to misinterpret it.
- 7:31Speaker 1: So I spit things out as fast as I can and if I get a no, that's when I know, oh shit, I got it wrong.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Let me go back and reinterpret it.
- 7:38Speaker 1: So always, always, always, tell your mediums, your professionals, if something doesn't fit, it doesn't mean that they're not good at their job, it just means that they might have misinterpreted it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And also, if something doesn't sit right with you, it like, if something doesn't feel good or something doesn't make sense, discard that information.
- 7:56Speaker 1: And I'm not trying to like keep only the good things that you like.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Only when they say they're gonna, you're gonna win the lottery, keep that, but that you have more problems to come.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Ignore that right, like I'm not saying that, but just be a little more conscious of how professionals work and how information can be misconstrued accidentally.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So and be responsible for your own actions that you take out of a session, knowing that some of the information might not have been 100% accurate, because that's the reality of what we are we are not 100% accurate all the time and if anyone claims to be, they're a charlatan and instead be responsible for the things that you take from them, from you, accept from them or don't accept from them, and walk forward knowing that you have information.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Now you get to decide what to do with it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So I hope that helps.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So be careful mediums, professionals, of the words you're saying and, as sitters, be mindful that what they're saying might be incorrect or misconstrued, and make decisions based on knowing that that can happen.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I hope that helps everybody.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I really enjoyed being here for this little quickie with you, sending you all the love.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Take care.
