- 1:03refreshment. Ron Edwards. Good day, good day, Hello, and how
- 1:36are you. I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Run Edwards American Experience.
- 1:40There is his Faith Day, and we welcome one and all to join us
- 1:44from throughout America and around the world. And thank you for tuning in.
- 1:48Of course, we're being brought to you by Constitutional Grounds to coffee you want
- 1:52in your cup. Got a great guest today, surprise, very very good
- 1:59minister and a good guy overall. And I'm going to be talking with him
- 2:02and just a bit. But in the meantime, in between times, my
- 2:07friends, Prayers go out for the folks of New York and joys and boy,
- 2:15yeah, they had a real little, kind of a real shake up
- 2:17this morning. Earthquake epicenter of the New York City New Jersey earthquake Man Trump
- 2:27a national golf club. You know, Trump said that the ground shook very
- 2:30hard, and man four point eight magnitude surprised many locals in the process.
- 2:39And well they didn't say that in the end times, there's going to be
- 2:44earthquakes in diverse places. And so you know, my producer Doug says,
- 2:50it's all those illegals in New York City stomping their feet. Well, that's
- 2:54probably a contributory factor. I won't deny that, sir. But anyway,
- 3:02you know, lots of crazy things are going on, lots of crazy things
- 3:07in all seriousness, amongst the most crazy things. You know. For some
- 3:14time I have expressed disappointment feelings ranging from disappointment to disdain for one Mike Johnson,
- 3:23the Speaker of the US House. And the reason why is because in
- 3:29a sense I have less respect for him than I do for Uncle Joe Biden.
- 3:34And the reason why is because Uncle Joe Biden is who he is.
- 3:37He's been a Communist an evil supporter ever since he first got in office in
- 3:45nineteen seventy two, and he's never changed his stripes. You have someone like
- 3:52Mike Johnson, Big Mike Johnson, right, oh, little Mikey actually,
- 3:59and he is for years been touting himself as a believer in our Constitution,
- 4:02follower of Christ, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And since
- 4:09he became speaker, the guy has been just awful. He has been just
- 4:14as liberal or left leaning as Kevin McCarthy and any Democrat you can name.
- 4:21He just approved the the biggest and the worst spending bill in US history.
- 4:28And by the way, when it's fully implemented, it's going to be a
- 4:32big problem. When this bill goes into full operation, it's not going to
- 4:38be pretty. Folks. You think things are going bad now economically, you
- 4:44just wait. Well, and I have privately questioned, is mister Johnson under
- 4:51someone's thumb? Does somebody have something on him? What's going on here?
- 4:58How can you be one way even lead prayers in the House of Congress and
- 5:04speak of all the wonderful things about your faith in Jesus and all of that,
- 5:09and then you turn around and do what you've done, mister little Mikey
- 5:15Johnson, and so proving that great minds think alike. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green
- 5:24aired speculative concerns regarding Speaker Mike Johnson's recent political actions, suggesting a potential blackmail
- 5:31situation to explain what she perceives as a radical departure from his known conservative and
- 5:38Christian stances. Now, Marjorie Taylor Green doesn't know me from Adam. We've
- 5:47never had a conversation, but yet we come to the same thought that someone
- 5:53has something on this guy. And she says, suggesting a potential blame male
- 6:00situation. And see, this is why I could go all the way back
- 6:06to my childhood when my dad would talk to me about a righteous standard and
- 6:12how you have to have if you get into the public arena and you stand
- 6:16up or you present yourself as one who stands up for what is right,
- 6:21YadA, YadA, then that means your background has to be clean too,
- 6:26so that no one can come to you and say, you know what,
- 6:29if you don't stab all those in the back that you who have supported you,
- 6:33you don't come to the dark side. We're going to pull this out
- 6:38and we're going to tell the world that you did this and such and such
- 6:40twenty years ago or whatever. This is. This is sad stuff and it
- 6:47must be true. Or because I've thought two things. It's possible that someone
- 6:55has something on them. But I've also thought that, you know, like
- 6:58many people that run around saying that they're Christian, the follows of Christ,
- 7:02even some ministers, when all they're doing is trying to lead people to hell
- 7:08and economically, mister Johnson is trying to lead America to Hell in a handbasket.
- 7:15And he made a complete departure from who he has led us to believe
- 7:18what he is. Because you remember when he was first appointed as speaker.
- 7:23When he became speaker, I was all happy, oh wow, because he
- 7:27was saying all the right things. He was at first seemingly he was speaking
- 7:32about doing the right things, okay, And so yeah, I thought,
- 7:36boy, we got rid of Kevin McCarthy Bamo, things are going to turn
- 7:42around. No, they got worse. They got worse. He posted a
- 7:48bill that was worse than what even nasty Pelosi had wanted to do. And
- 7:56see, this is very dangerous. This represents a very clear and press in
- 8:00danger that our nation faces today. Not only do we have to be concerned
- 8:03about those who are openly on the dark side, but we also have to
- 8:11use our desernment and become more wise when it comes to choosing those who say,
- 8:18hey, I stand for what is right well for me, and I'll
- 8:22set you free, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. We need more decernment than
- 8:28any other time in our American history. I'm going to see what our guests
- 8:33today thinks about that. Yeah, because this this, I have to say,
- 8:43it's really I know I seem stuck on this thing, but it's almost
- 8:46heartbreaking. It represents well. Hopefully the result of what he has passed doesn't
- 8:56come to fruition. Then you will understand why I seem stuck on this the
- 9:03economic disaster that this thing is going to open the door to. And this
- 9:09is why we've got to be more simplified in our in our approach to things
- 9:16when it comes to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ, so that
- 9:20people will know you by your true character and you won't be you know,
- 9:28you won't be a fake. You won't be fooling people, and we won't
- 9:33be fooled by you if you're trying to fool us. Because I have to
- 9:37admit I was fooled, and rarely am I fooled. But Mikey, little
- 9:43Mikey, you got me that time. But I tell you what, if
- 9:48we the people stand together and we do the right thing, little Mikey,
- 9:52you will will pay the price for this, for what you have done to
- 9:56this republic. I'm Ron Edwards and We'll be right back on this faith.

- 13:16Edwards and thanks so much for tuning in on this Faith Day edition. And
- 13:20our guest today is Austin Craigs and we'll be in conversation with him in just
- 13:26a moment. But you know, in the United States of America today,
- 13:30most of the people who attend are denominational and mega churches and religious religious systems
- 13:35are being, in my opinion, led astray from the ways of Jesus Christ
- 13:39by deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. In addition, our religious systems are
- 13:45being defined by Constantine of the third century. Now he corrupted Christianity or the
- 13:52followers of Christ, as we're promptly defined as followers of the Word with his
- 13:58changes, and we are still practicing many of his traditions. Today. We
- 14:01are in a big spiritual trouble, big Heapham trouble in this republic turned mobocracy.
- 14:09And if we ever hope to have a move of God and our nation,
- 14:11we have to make a significant change back to the ways of Christ.
- 14:16I mean, Christ has to recognize his people. If his people are running
- 14:20around like roaches, acting like whatever, being deceived all the time, like
- 14:28many of us were deceived by little Mikey, I mean, that's that's that's
- 14:33pretty that's pretty bad stuff. And there are many deceivers amongst us. They're
- 14:41called tears. And anyway, let's welcome our guest pastor, Austin Crates,
- 14:48and welcome to the run Edwards American experience. How are you, sir,
- 14:52I'm well, and thank you for the opportunity to be with you today.
- 14:58Thank you, you know. I'm remind of the verse Tewod Corinthians eleven to
- 15:03three, which says, but I am afraid less as the serpent deceived eve
- 15:09by his craftiness, Your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity
- 15:15of devotion to Christ. And I think, sir, that that kind of
- 15:20describes our country today. In many ways we are deceived people, even many
- 15:26among many amongst us who are followers of the word can be deceived, as
- 15:33I was with Mikey Johnson, our speaker, and so no one is immune
- 15:37to this art of deception of the enemy, whether he's those who claim to
- 15:43be Christ of Christ rather or those who are not. What say you,
- 15:50well, We're definitely in a period of disinformation and disorientation, and no greater
- 15:56example of that can be given except for the COVID hopes that we experienced,
- 16:03where we were being told various points of information, for instance, like mask
- 16:07wearing would help you in the well community more or less of the virus,
- 16:15where in truth, if you look at the box and when it says not
- 16:18to be used for our viole, you know, for prevention, for viral
- 16:23prevention, and the same thing was true with like the vaccine. So we're
- 16:30getting inundated with the media that has its prime source from two sources, where
- 16:36everybody else balls in line, and it's become more of a propaganda than it
- 16:41is actually the protection of the people and the information for the people to make
- 16:45the decisions about their republic, not democracy. But I agree with you and
- 16:52the other aspect of this, if we want to go into more of the
- 16:56ecclesiastical or church realm, is that we have a lot of people that are
- 17:00trying to attract people with various programs and things, but are very bleak on
- 17:07biblical content because they don't want to offend anybody. And so you have a
- 17:12lot of secret, sensitive churches that attract a lot of people but are very
- 17:17low on discipleship. And the end of results of that through studies that people
- 17:22have done that after about two or three years of sitting at a few in
- 17:26a church like that, people look for a place where they can get deeper
- 17:30teaching and a more of a biblical perspective and a biblical worldview. You know,
- 17:37that reminds me of one of the Founding Fathers who said, if you
- 17:41don't know your rights, you don't have any and if you don't know the
- 17:45Word of God, you won't have that knowledge that you need for your protection
- 17:51and for the furtherance of the Gospel in the world. And thus you have
- 17:56what you see today in our country and in Great Britain and Australian. Throughout
- 18:00the world, you see this rapid deterioration amongst the so called Western nations.
- 18:07And they in many cases, whether it's among the churches or elsewhere, they
- 18:15seem to be gleefully marching in this wrong direction. We keep getting, in
- 18:19my opinion, what are called warning signs. Back up, turn around,
- 18:23turn from your stupid, wicked ways. And I think God has been very
- 18:29merciful, especially to this nation. But you know, in many cases,
- 18:34you know, all good things come to an end, and I think we
- 18:38could be reaching the end of God's patients. What say you, Well,
- 18:44let's take a little bit of an example from England in the seventeen hundreds.
- 18:48The thing that saved England from an outright civil war revolution was the fact that
- 18:55you had the John Wesley's and the Whitfield and others that were revivalists George Whitfield
- 19:06was basically an outcast in the eyes of the Church of England. And so
- 19:10what you had was you had a man that was Oxford educated. By the
- 19:15way his life is fascinating, we don't really have time to go into it.
- 19:21But the churches wouldn't allow him to preach in their facilities, and so
- 19:26Whitfield went out to what would be considered the lower part of society, the
- 19:30co workers, and he would preach in the fields. Not two hundreds,
- 19:36but two thousands, sometimes up to ten thousand people would hear him preach.
- 19:41And it was through the preaching of the Whitfields and the Wesleys and others that
- 19:45England was saved of a bloody revolution. And I think that we're coming into
- 19:49the same situation here today. You know, we're in a situation where the
- 19:56pastor in the pulpit has one or two things. Either he's going to cower
- 20:03and not treach the word and try to satisfy people and allow them to be
- 20:08exposed to moralistic therapeutic deism, which is a nice way of saying I'm not
- 20:14going to give you anything offensive. I'm just going to tell you you're a
- 20:17great person, and sadly to say, a lot of churches have fallen into
- 20:22that trap. But compare that to the other type of pastor that is biblically
- 20:26found, has a biblical worldview and is not there to pacify you, but
- 20:32to bring the truth of God into your life and discipleship. And he'll pay
- 20:37the cost regardless. He'll pay the cost because he knows that there is a
- 20:41higher judge that will judge him for all the teaching that he does and how
- 20:47he handles the congregation. Now, I have to admit those type of pastors
- 20:52today are more of a rarity. My hope is in the youth, because
- 20:59we have a lot of youth that are questioning the church because they never get
- 21:03their answers. I'm sorry, the questions to their answers. And I believe
- 21:08we're going to see a reawakening that will take place in our youth and they
- 21:14will be sold out and there will be a national revival. At least that's
- 21:17my hope that we will have a national revival, because it's the only thing
- 21:22that's going to keep us from going down the path that we're going down right
- 21:26now. Absolutely, you mentioned Wesley when we were in England a few years
- 21:30ago, we went to one of the in fact more than one of the
- 21:36spots where he actually prayed, i mean preached, and one was in an
- 21:41area where they were did their mining. And it's a huge circle, and
- 21:45the people used to sit in this giant circle which was dug out, and
- 21:52in fact the lectern still stands there today and you could still feel the impact
- 22:00literally of the truth that was spoken there many many years ago. And so
- 22:06you bring back a huge history lesson that we saw up closed there just a
- 22:11few years ago. But uh, you're right, the youth. But the
- 22:17thing is, though, the youth are very dissatisfied with with with our society
- 22:22today, and rightfully so. And it is my prayer that enough of them
- 22:26are being told enough of the truth where their curiosity, their youthful curiosity,
- 22:34will carry them into a deeper search and bring about what you hope to happen
- 22:42with the invigorated youth, because like you said, there are so many ministers
- 22:48of today. They're they're jokes, they're just they're they're just hot air,
- 22:52no better than the politicians that we speak about. But we're going to hold
- 22:56it right there and we'll be right back on this faith day addition of the
- 23:00Ron Edwards American Experience with our guest minister Austin Creek Center. We'll be right

- 27:21Hello, I'm Ron Edwards and welcome back to this edition of The Ron
- 27:26Edwards American Experience Faith Day. And you know, the Bible says that there's
- 27:32one God, one Church, one Lord, and one Gospel, one Spirit,
- 27:37one Jesus, one Bible and one way. So why in sam Hill
- 27:41does it seem the Christianity in the United States of America, Great Britain and
- 27:45elsewhere is so diced up and different from the Word of God and the Church
- 27:51yesue are built in the first century. Why the big difference. Maybe our
- 27:56guests can give us an answer on that. We're back with our guest today,
- 28:00Austin Greats Minister, how do you answer that question, sir well,
- 28:07one of the things you have to understand is that theology has a history to
- 28:12it, and when we are in the early stages of the New Testament Church
- 28:19basically having a Jewish concept and idea of covenant, of redemption, of atonement,
- 28:27and definitely of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the teachings,
- 28:32et cetera. Now you mentioned earlier, I think it was Constantine. Things
- 28:38actually went rather well the first seventy five years. There was a harmony between
- 28:45the Jewish individuals, synagogues, et cetera. But then when it came down
- 28:49to the deity of Christ, the incarnation, that's where a split took place.
- 28:55So in one fifty AD there was this split from the Church and the
- 29:00synagogue, and as a matter of fact, the Jews actually persecuted the Church,
- 29:06and usually through history you see just the opposite going on. When Constantine
- 29:11came to power, he did not have a theological perspective or background, and
- 29:18so the Church from being persecuted almost overnight, was welcomed as the shall we
- 29:26put government Church of the Empire of Rome. And not everybody went with this.
- 29:33There were other groups around the world that did not come into that let's
- 29:40say group or denomination for lack of a better term. So Constantine had some
- 29:48of his buddies placed in various positions within the church, and he ruled over
- 29:53the church. And we know from what we call the church councils were certain
- 29:59doctrinal de decisions were made, and so what we had is we had from
- 30:03a simple act to community that would meet in homes and be community. It
- 30:11turned into a let's say, cathedral and liturgy that we have today now,
- 30:19not just in the Catholic churches, but that influence infiltrated into the Reformation as
- 30:26well. Luther never wanted to have his own church. He wanted to reform
- 30:33the Catholic Church. Calvin basically the same thing, and for the most part,
- 30:38most of the reformers. But a lot of the traditions that took place
- 30:42in those early days filtered its way through to the church even to this present
- 30:48day. So you have churches that are what we call very liturgical. They
- 30:52go by a liturgy, and then you have churches that are not liturgical.
- 30:56This is what's the difference between what they call a high church and a low
- 31:00church scenario. But through the years you had various doctrinal differences due to the
- 31:06way that you interpreted the Word of God. Now that's interesting about you just
- 31:10go on here for just a second. Most people when they go to a
- 31:14Bible college or a seminary, they're taught a system of belief rather than scripture.
- 31:23Right to catch on what I'm saying by that, ron, Yes I
- 31:26do, big, big time, Yes I do. Okay, So what
- 31:30you have is they are learning the system. They're not learning theology. They're
- 31:36very or i should say Bible in theology. They are very few seminary today
- 31:41that will actually just teach biblical theology. And I was graduating from Acheline Theological
- 31:48Seminary and that's all they taught is biblical theology. And I'm minored in historical
- 31:56theology. And you could see whenever you see a weird doctrine or something,
- 32:00you can always trace it back to some source. And so you see how
- 32:05there was distortions in interpretation, which is very important. How you interpret there's
- 32:10grammatical interpretation or pure hermanutics, as we call it interpretation. But then you
- 32:16have what they call special hermanutics, which these systems adhere to their own way
- 32:22of interpreting the scripture. And that's why, like you were asking, how
- 32:27did we get into this myth of everybody having something different, it's because we
- 32:34honor the systems more than we do the actual interpretation of scripture. And that's
- 32:40the predicament that we're in right now. And that's probably a whole show in
- 32:45itself, fron but that's basically, in a nutshell what has taken place.
- 32:51And so as a result, we completely ignore what Jesus says about unity in
- 32:55the body of Christ. One of the most fractured, ununified entities on the
- 33:02planet is the body of Christ. And we ignore that part of the Bible
- 33:08that tells us to die to our old flesh nature, how to renew our
- 33:14mind, and how Satan can affect the life of a follower of Jesus Christ,
- 33:19and just that little bit, just that tiny little bit, is rarely
- 33:22spoken of correctly, in my opinion, in most churches, not only in
- 33:27the United States, but if you go to Great Britain or France or wherever,
- 33:30and then you wonder why other entities are gaining ground and more influence in
- 33:37the world. It's not because the Islamis, for example, are more correct
- 33:43in their ideology. It is because they are united and they are living according
- 33:50to what they believe, and they're rolling with that. As opposed to followers
- 33:55of Yeshure or Jesus, they're so fractured, and as you say, and
- 34:00we used to jokingly call it cemetery schools, they're not teaching these principles,
- 34:07and so we end up with the conditions that we have today. Some pastors
- 34:12actually teach that Satan and his demons, for example, cannot bother the Christian
- 34:16and I think that is utterly foolish. And what how do you how do
- 34:21we get this foolishness out of the body of Christ, out of out of
- 34:27the church. How do we, you know, get around this and start
- 34:30getting back to truth. On a large scale, You're going to find that
- 34:34a lot of churches aren't gonna even bother with that. There's such a protection
- 34:38for the system that anything outside of that little box will require a paradigm shift
- 34:45in order to get them out. You see, What's what's going on is
- 34:51that when you teach a particular way of viewing things, and interpretation is the
- 34:57key to this. If I put on my Reformed glasses or my Baptist classes
- 35:01or Catholic classes, I'm going to see things differently because of the tent of
- 35:06the glass that is there. When I take the glasses off and I just
- 35:10allow the word to speak, even if I may have minor disagreements, that's
- 35:19where you're going to find unity. And let me just say this unity will
- 35:22never come around around doctrine. The way to unify the church is through relationships.
- 35:30And when pastors have relationships even if their doctrinal differences are way off,
- 35:37and they get to know the person that's ministering in the same city or area,
- 35:45there is that Christian unity and love that begins to take place where dialogue
- 35:50can happen. But dialogue is secondary to relationships, and that's really the first
- 35:55step. But you're not going to come into a doctional agreement. Now.
- 36:00You will come into doctrinal agreement. And what we call the dogmas, the
- 36:06Trinity, the incarnation, the resurrection, judgment, et cetera, et cetera.
- 36:12Those issues are the mainstay of what Christianity is really all about. And
- 36:17you'll find unity in that, but you'll also find diversity in how that's interpreted
- 36:22in teaching. So dogma is the foundations, but doctrine is how each church
- 36:30or fellowship teaches the dogma, and that's where that's where really a lot of
- 36:35the division comes in. Some people believe in the rapture, some people don't
- 36:38believe in the rapture. Some people believe that only members should have communion,
- 36:44others don't. All these little traditions and stuff is what's killing the church.
- 36:50I've done some church consulting and the biggest question is are you willing to change?
- 36:53And a lot of the churches that are dying, they're absolutely refusing through,
- 36:58you know, do what's necessary in order to survive. And a lot
- 37:04of it is old tradition, like you know, we always did things this
- 37:07way, and that's what's really killing us. And it goes both not only
- 37:12for the people in the church, but also for the pastors. We're seeing.
- 37:17We're seeing along the lines right now of LGBT, Q X y Z,
- 37:22you know the alphabet too, literally denominations falling apart. And again it's
- 37:30all on the basis of interpretation and how how they're willing or unwilling to adapt
- 37:37or change. Now, what I'm saying adapting, I'm not saying change the
- 37:39gospel. What I'm saying is some of the traditions that are found in various
- 37:45congregations need to be put aside, like sacred cows, and allow the Gospel
- 37:52to speak again. Yeah. And I think also that speaking speaking of the
- 38:00Word of God, that I think if if churches, if people in general
- 38:06decided, hey, you know what, why don't we unite on the principles,
- 38:10the Ten Commandments, some of the levitical principles, things that are that
- 38:15are immutable, they're they're not you know, you can't mess with uh.
- 38:21Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not cover thy neighbor's wife, nor his
- 38:24ox, nor his ask. Thou shall not lie, et cetera, et
- 38:28cetera, et cetera. I think if we made a decision to get back
- 38:31to those moral principles and stick to that, I think, branching out into
- 38:39the other areas, I think we would make more right decisions and be more
- 38:44unified. Because if you if you, if you're if you're unified on the
- 38:47on the on the basic founding principles that dictate your moral behavior and your thinking
- 38:54and your actions. I think if you stem from that, you will have
- 38:59a a greater chance of unity and more strength and power in the battle between
- 39:04good and evil. All right, man, I hate to end it right
- 39:07here, but we've only got about a minute. Could you honor us,
- 39:13sir with a prayer? You know, go as God lead you, but
- 39:19like to do even if you could pray about unity in the body. Father,
- 39:23We thank you for your son. We thank you for what he has
- 39:27done and accomplished on the cross, his willingness to come down one hundred percent
- 39:31God and one hundred percent man, and his cry in John seventeen was for
- 39:37us to unify as believers. And Lord, we humbly come before you this
- 39:42day and ask, Lord, bring your church together in this time of peril,
- 39:47disinformation and downright evil, bring your church together to raise the standard of
- 39:53the Lord Jesus Christ and his kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray,
- 39:59Amen, Amen. Thank you so much. And we're going to have to
- 40:02have you back because you touched on some very interesting subjects there, and I
- 40:09even want to get into some history with you. Bon Hoffer, Wesley and
- 40:14some of those interesting people of history and some of the fine examples that they

- 42:36You're listening to the Ron Edwards American experience. When it comes to following
- 43:01Christ. There's no such thing as Baptist, Pecostal or Catholic righteousness. It's
- 43:07the righteousness we find through Christ. I'm by Edwards and you're listening to the
- 43:13rhyd Words American experience Faith. They addition, thank you so much for tuning
- 43:16in. And you know a person who has a form of godliness is not
- 43:22saved by the blood. They don't make Jesus Lord. They don't need the
- 43:28Word of God or Holy Spirit because they have their religion oh worked out on
- 43:34their own in their own adult brains. They live to satisfy their fleshly desires,
- 43:39and they walk, talk, and act like what they call the world.
- 43:44They never change, but attend church for many years, staying in the
- 43:46same way year after years, because, as Joel Olstein famously says, Jesus
- 43:52loves you. Just come as you are. They don't believe that there are
- 43:58consequences for disobeying God God, not resisting Satan, and ignoring part of the
- 44:05Word of God. They ignore the judgment of God to their own detriment.
- 44:10So we have some serious decisions. See where the deciders, and we have
- 44:15to make our systems. We have to straighten them out. But we cannot
- 44:21straighten them out based upon our feelings, our own human customs, et cetera,
- 44:27et cetera, et cetera. We have to go to the principles of
- 44:29God. Throughout history, God has always wanted the people he could call his
- 44:34own that would represent him correctly on his earth. He gave the first five
- 44:39books of the Bible to set forth laws, precepts, commandments, and principles
- 44:45on how his people were to live in the wilderness. Remember that you've all
- 44:50read that story right. He set up types and shadows in the building of
- 44:54the temple and in the feasts to reflect his son, the coming Messiah.
- 45:00But over time man began to kind of ruin things. And when we get
- 45:07in, when we start ruining things and trying to change things into our own
- 45:12image or what we wanted to be, rather than what God wants it to
- 45:15be, you know, notice how things really mess up. Now. The
- 45:17Constitution of the United States was based upon godly principles, and though the men
- 45:25who ran the United States were imperfect, the goal was good because the goal
- 45:31was to live up to the principles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights,
- 45:37which were inspired by the Word of God. But as we today continue
- 45:42in this United States of America to drift away, drift drift, drift,
- 45:49drift away. And it's not just the those who are not walking with Christ.
- 45:53They're not the only ones who are drifting away. There are many cocky,
- 45:59proud Christians who walk around not caring about the very country that they are
- 46:05living in. And we're seeing the result of that. If you don't care
- 46:08about your own personal home. What happens to it? It gets dirty.
- 46:14You have furry little visitors inside, little mice that come in uninvited. You
- 46:21have bugs. If you live in Arizona, you might find a scorpion under
- 46:24your pillow when you wake up, or in your shoes. So we have
- 46:30to clean up our moral standards in the United States and in Great Britain and
- 46:38throughout the world. If we claim the name of Christ, then we have
- 46:45to claim his word, his principles, et cetera, and live according to
- 46:50these principles and precepts. And you know, over time man began to run
- 46:58things in the name of God, and then there came a religious system.
- 47:06By the time of the birth of Yeshua, the temple religious system had become
- 47:09so corrupt by the scribes, seduces, and the Pharisees it could not recognize
- 47:15the time of their visitation of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the New Wine
- 47:21had arrived, but the religious leaders would not recognize him. They ignored him
- 47:25and then wanted to destroy him. Just like today, religious leaders ignore what
- 47:34they should be doing, what they should be teaching. They ignored the example
- 47:37they should be setting. Back when Jesus was walking the earth. He ministered
- 47:44to all the people, even those religious leaders of the corrupt temple system.
- 47:49But Jesus made it perfectly clear that you cannot take his new wine and put
- 47:52it in old wine skin religious systems. Nor do men put new wine in
- 48:00to old wine skins. Otherwise the wine skins burst and the wine pours out,
- 48:07and the wine skins are ruined. But they put new wine into fresh
- 48:13wine skins, ah, and then both are preserved, and then it's very
- 48:21tasty. If the grapes were good, well, Jesus came preaching the Kingdom
- 48:25of God, the Kingdom of God message, and the Kingdom of God.
- 48:30Conduct that Jesus exhibited and lived out for his disciples would be the fulfillment of
- 48:36the old is the new wine of God. If you wanted to live in
- 48:40function in the new system, the Kingdom of God that has roots that began
- 48:45in Genesis, you must empty yourself of the old religious system of man.
- 48:52Jesus went to the cross, ascended to heaven, and sent back the Holy
- 48:58Spirit to guide us. This system worked perfectly for Christ's disciples up until the
- 49:02middle of the third century, when Constantine instituted his traditions amen. And I
- 49:08believe the Constantine meant well because he wanted to make the followers of Christ legal.
- 49:16He said they shouldn't be persecuted, but worre he messed up. See
- 49:22many times you know the Word. There's a book that came out in the
- 49:25in the early it was in the nineteen eighties, The Road to Hell is
- 49:30paid with good intentions, and the good intention the well intentioned Constantine ended up
- 49:38putting Christianity almost on the road to Hell. Not literally, but a lot
- 49:44of hellish things have occurred and have seeped in to the church world, and
- 49:52now we have it's all mixed up today. Christianity, Christians or the followers
- 49:58of the Word think we're still the largest single organization on the planet, but
- 50:06one of the most uneffective. We have big numbers but very little comparative impact.
- 50:19And you know, God gave man dominion over the earth, but man
- 50:24corrupted his own dominion. He corrupted the gift of dominion through his faulty relationship
- 50:31with Satan. And yes, yes it was Eve first, but Eve didn't
- 50:39technically know any better. Adam knew what Adam should have done when he slipped
- 50:46off with Satan. Adam should have said, you know what, Lord,
- 50:50you know what, I'm not going to do this. Can you get me
- 50:53another one? Another woman? Oh? Man? But we can all say
- 51:00that, right. But I wonder what we would do if we were in
- 51:04Adam's place? Would we have done any better? I just you know,
- 51:08one has to wonder. Do you want me to say that out loud?
- 51:15Doug, Oh my goodness, Oh no, I can't do that. But
- 51:22anyway, so, because of what man has done and allowed to happen,
- 51:31we were in control, we had power, but we became vain. And
- 51:37guess what, we don't operate in as much power as we should today.
- 51:43But we can recover as we recover our relationship with our creator through his son
- 51:49Jesus Christ. Not that I see that my time is up on this fake
- 51:54day, I'm Ron Edwards, reminding you to pray for your family, your
- 52:00friends, your nation, and even your enemies, and to treat others the
- 52:04way you wouldn't want to be treated. Yep, I'm not Edwards until next
- 52:08time, my friends, be good bye. Now, I show you that
- 52:16you have to change your direct, to change your direct, to make a
- 52:21new connection to everyone you
