- 2:12SPEAKER_03: Welcome back to Skincare Anarchy.
- 2:14SPEAKER_03: This is your host, Ecta, and today I have such a special guest for you.
- 2:18SPEAKER_03: I am such a huge fan of Decium as a whole, as just everything that they stand for, and to be able to do this interview today is so special and near and dear to my heart.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: Um, as many of you know, Decium and The Ordinary have recently launched their sister project, which is known as OLABs.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: And OLABs has this beautiful um, you know, set of products that they've released, which I am so excited to be hosting their chief scientific officer here, Prithvikaka, who we have had on the show before, um, to talk about Neod and everything that Neod stands for, which is also within the Desium family.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: But today he's here to tell us all about OLABs and everything that he has created um for the for this line and just all of the innovations that have gone behind all these products.
- 3:09SPEAKER_03: So without further ado and without me ranting too much, I want to introduce you guys once again to Pradhvi.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Pradvi, welcome to the show.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: I'm so honored and humbled to host you here.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Ekta.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Uh, thank you for all those kind words.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Hello, everyone.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: My name is Pradvi Kaka, and uh I'm the uh Chief Scientific Officer uh at the Decium Labs.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's it's such a it's such an honor, like I said, Pradhvi, to host you.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: And I am really excited about OLABs because you guys have some phenomenal products, you know, that I've had the immense privilege of of already trying and testing.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: And I'm just so excited to dive in.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: And I have a nice set of questions for you.
- 3:44SPEAKER_03: So I hope you're ready to answer all of them for us.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Um I want to start off, Pradhvi, by learning about what is the OLAB?
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: You know, what is it?
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: If you could go into like the the details of the philosophy and everything um related to that.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: So OLAB, uh, the external facing, uh, the amazing visuals and assets you've seen.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: So that's actually our platform uh to be able to launch all the new products.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: And that was more uh to have an authentic connect with our community, give them uh some early access and also show them some uh behind the scenes uh the type of things or the usual flow we would have uh to bring any product to life.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So it was more um the interface uh to be able to connect with our audience in a much intimate way and to show them um one drop at a time.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: And so, you know, so really it was it it's like a kind of a butt-off, butting off project is really what it is.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: Is that is that correct?
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: No, and no, the products are great.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: I really, really love it.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: And I I know that you guys have um, you know, the six new launches that have come out, and I would love to talk about the underlying skin health goals, you know, that are being addressed by these six new launches.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: Um, if you could briefly explain, you know, each one of them and kind of uh go into them from a routine perspective so the consumers can understand like how to you know incorporate them.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: So the six products actually uh connect back to the uh regimen type of application um that we kind of portray our brand with.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So um so within our brand, we kind of categorize them as like prep, treat, and seal, like three different steps.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Uh so prep is all about uh preparing the skin, uh like cleaning, toning, and that's kind of the step before you use any treatment product.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Uh and treatment is like that's kind of the main step within the regimen where uh you're actually targeting a specific skin concern.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So that's where all our serums, uh like niacinamide, hyaluronic, vitamin C, um, all of them fall under.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And seal is truly uh like a moisturizer uh or an SPF, uh, so where you just seal your treatment uh and kind of give uh moisturization uh as actually needed by the skin.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: So if we take that as like a grinding thing, uh so we wanted to kind of diversify our portfolio.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Uh so we were kind of uh hearing wide open on what the community is kind of uh requesting for a long time.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: And also when we're looking at our when we were looking at our portfolio, uh we kind of saw a few more opportunities where we can just plug them in uh so we can give more options uh for our followers to be able to personalize their skincare routine.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: So, for example, um within the OLABs, we launched, like you said, six products and uh there are two cleansers that fall within the prep stage.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Uh, and we've got two treatments.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Uh so within the two treatments, actually, we introduced a new kind of uh category or we kind of added an addition.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Uh so uh as you all know, so niacinamide hyaluronic, we kind of call them as very targeted serums like hydration or brightening.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Um, whereas the multi-active serums like what you've seen, the multi-peptide eye, uh, that's kind of a multi-active serum.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And when I um I'm talking about the product, I'll give you more context on how that really differentiates.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Uh and then within seal, uh, we've actually launched two moisturizers.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Um I'm happy to kind of uh dive deep into each one of them and kind of uh give you how they connect back to this whole uh categorization.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: So when it comes so when it comes to the prep and the two new cleansers, so you all knew Squalin Cleanser, and it's been one of the uh stellar within the cleansers uh in the market.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Um, however, the squalin cleanser is an oil-based cleanser, it's non-foamy.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so it it only has a certain scope.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: So we wanted to elaborate and we wanted to have more options uh from a sensorial point of view, uh, which is why we kind of expanded into two cleansers.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: So the first one is glucoside foaming cleanser.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Uh, so as the name implies, it is our very first foaming cleanser with an ordinary.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and it was also one of the most requested as well from our uh brand loyalists.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so even though it's a foamy cleanser, our intent was to keep it extremely gentle.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Um, so some of the tidbits that I just want to share in this forum is the foaming cleanser that we kind of have, um we've kind of done all the due diligence and kind of the design and framework in a way to actually be as gentle as a baby cleanser.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, so when we were selecting the ingredients, when we were selecting uh the actual surfactant, uh, which helps to clean, um, and also the simplicity of the product uh and also the testing we did, um, we again the objective is to keep it extremely gentle.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: So one thing that you might notice in that cleanser is we've used no actives at all.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Um, I mean it's normal to see cleansers uh with actives that comes with claims saying uh barrier support, barrier repair, and et cetera.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: But our cleanser, uh, we were able to see some amazing claims like strengthening skin barrier, improving the um skin clarity or the look of skin texture uh with continued usage, right?
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: So all that was possible with just the design of our farmland, how minimalistic it is, and without any active ingredients.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Um, and and of course, uh the cleanser is like non-communogenic, it's not irritating to eye at all, uh, or even the skin, and it's suitable for like even sensitive skin.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Um, so so truly that the cleanser is like it's a foaming option, but it comes extremely gentle.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Um and for anyone that's looking to double cleanse, it's actually a perfect fit.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: So anyone that still loves to use an oil cleanser to remove makeup or sunscreen, uh, they can always use a swallowing cleanser.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: And then to finish off to get a really clean skin feel, they can follow on with something like glucoside foam and cleanser, which is like a perfect fit.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: And I love that.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: And you know, I want to just say this real quick for these um just to feed on uh what you said is that I love the cleansers because you know what?
- 10:58SPEAKER_03: My skin is not stripped for once by a cleanser.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: I literally, I cannot tell you, there have been times where I had to stop using certain cleansers because they would like leave my skin feeling as if, you know, the all of the life was sucked out of them, like literally, like you know, my skin just felt and but these cleansers are so different, they have a totally different feeling, and they are very much daily cleansers.
- 11:22SPEAKER_03: And you're very accurate in what you said, you know, even from my perspective, as you know, like from the medical perspective, but also as a consumer, like I can feel the difference, you know what I mean?
- 11:32SPEAKER_03: Like when I use it every day in the morning because my skin doesn't feel that same stripped feeling, you know, the same feeling of oh, there's nothing left on my skin.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: So that makes total sense.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: And I agree with you.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: I I feel that way as a consumer.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: So happy to hear.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: So next, moving on to the the the second cleanser uh within the family, or number three um in in in the realm of cleansers we have.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: So glycolipid cream cleanser uh is kind of another uh variant.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: So the difference truly is it doesn't contain foam, there's no oil, uh, but it's a creamy cleanser that's still extremely gentle.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Um, but even though there's no oil and there's no foam, it still effectively removes uh something like makeup, uh still maintaining or respecting skin's natural pH.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So that was like another sensorial difference we wanted to give.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Um, because we know not a lot of people like foam or oil.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: So we wanted to kind of bring this another variation within cleansers uh so truly uh anyone can personalize their cleansing routine as well.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and and and again, from the testing point of view, um we have amazing results from safety standpoint that it's extremely not irritating at all to skin and eyes, and it's suitable for like even sensitive skin.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And really, the the type of skin types that benefit from something like this is actually a balanced skin type um or like a dry skin.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Um and and and and like I said, uh it's very non-drying and non-stripping cleanser.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Um, and and actually, all three cleansers, the key goal for us was to maintain the gentleness and kind of respecting skin's pH and skin's barrier.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: And again, what I would like to highlight also, which we try to kind of make it a big point of difference, none of our cleansers have active ingredients.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: And and again, our point here is to say that treatments, which is the serums or uh the different types of options we have within our treat portfolio, is the key way to go.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, because again, cleansers are not staying on the skin forever, they're only on the skin for a few minutes or even seconds.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And there's so many variables, there's uh so many differences between how much people apply and how much water or how forcefully they cleanse it off their skin.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: So, because of all these variations, we thought uh it's really redundant to actually add active ingredients uh in a cleanser.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: No, it makes sense.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: And you know what?
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: That's really interesting to me that you did come out with these different variations of the cleanser because I think right now, you know, every brand they come out with a cleanser, but no one's able to explain why it matters.
- 14:35SPEAKER_03: You know, no one's able to give me, you know, I I've interviewed hundreds of brands, you know, as you know, Prithvi, and I always ask them about their active products, you know, the active ingredient products.
- 14:45SPEAKER_03: And I because I stay away from the cleansers.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: And the reason is because I don't think there's any real reason you even have a cleanser half the time, you know, like these brands.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: Like I don't know what what it's serving, like what purpose is it serving in your routine.
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: So I think it's very important that, you know, we focus on what you've highlighted here with the these products because they're really are made for, you know, like you said, like for people who who are looking for that cleansing step to be gentler and more, you know, to deliver what it's supposed to deliver, right?
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: Without having to worry about other irritation, other side effects, you know, because obviously going into step two, which I know you're gonna tell us about more about the active-based products, is you know, you want your skin to be at this nice pH or this nice balance before you put anything else on top of it.
- 15:33SPEAKER_03: And that's one of the biggest pitfalls I've seen other brands with their cleansers is that you have already like done some damage and that cleansing step so that when someone goes on to apply like a serum, right?
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: That's a little bit more harsh, it'll have a harsher effect than it should because you've already done some wrong, you know, on that initial step of cleansing.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: So I love that you explained that so well.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: Thank you for that.
- 15:57SPEAKER_03: But I would love for you to continue with other products as well.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: So getting into the treat category, we've launched two serums.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And the first one we launched uh was the multipeptide eye serum.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: And like I started saying, we kind of see our serums in two categories, like the targeted serums, which is niacinamide, hyaluronic, very targeted.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Um, they focus on one function, but it's mostly uh one or uh two ingredients.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: Um but here, multi-peptide eye is truly, like the name says, it's multi-active um eye serum.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: Uh so it's very, very holistic in the way uh the formula is designed.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: So for example, we had caffeine 5% plus EGCG for ears.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Um, however, the scope of that serum is limited.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: So we wanted to kind of expand into that category with something much more broader in scope.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: Um, so just even to start with, I mean, um, we have different combinations of ingredients, as the name implies, multi-peptide.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: We have multiple peptide technologies.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: We still have caffeine, uh, we have niacinamide in there as well.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: Um, we have some botanical uh-based ingredients.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Again, the selection of these active ingredients are also very complementary to each other.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Um, and just from a high level, we've got about 35% active ingredients.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and again, the design is very much focused in giving that uh holistic benefit all around the ice, um, which is why uh from a pricing standpoint, it is a little pricey.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Um, but kind of uh I hope I was able to kind of give you that clarity on why um it is kind of uh a bit more prizier than our caffeine uh with the active ingredients or the design.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Uh and from and from the claim standpoint, um I mean, as you probably see in our assets or uh the website, it does show significant improvement in the crow's feed and under-eye wrinkles in just four weeks.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Um safety standpoint, we've got tons of data.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Um, it's it's proven to be uh non-irritating around the ice.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: Um, we've even conducted some eye irritation studies, and it was um all kind of favoring uh to kind of say that it's extremely safe around the ice.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: So that's so that's our eye serum.
- 18:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, we need that.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: We need that though.
- 18:32SPEAKER_03: We need the eye serum because honestly, the eyes here's the thing.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be very honest here, and I know a lot of the listeners out there, you guys can relate.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: And you know, Purdue, thank you for being so like you know, thorough in explaining that because we need that, okay.
- 18:45SPEAKER_03: As consumers, we need to understand this stuff.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: And and the idea is with eye creams that really bothers me is that they're not there, they are irritating, you know, other eye creams.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: Like I have used some of the best brands, you know, out there that claim to be the best brands or whatever.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: And you know, they'll say, Oh, we're a luxury brand, we've gone through all of this testing and we've done all this, but it's like I put your eye cream on and my eyes start burning.
- 19:10SPEAKER_03: That's not normal, you know what I mean?
- 19:12SPEAKER_03: So it's like if your eye cream is causing burning in your eyes, it leads you to wonder is it really safe and is it efficacious?
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: You know, because at the end of the day, your eye serum or eye cream should never be doing that.
- 19:25SPEAKER_03: And I've never had that problem with this new launch.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's a it's a beautiful product.
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: I've loved it ever since I I was uh trying it.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: So I'm a huge fan of so happy to hear.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: So moving on to the allo 2% and uh anesotyl glucosamine 2%.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Um so that is one of the first uh of its kind.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: Um so we wanted to kind of take a different approach here.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: So we've kind of seen a lot of anti-acne products like salaslic um or various other types of uh OTC products in the acne space, but we wanted to bring something that can kind of be a pre-and-post-acne type of product.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: So aloe has been known um for its soothing benefits.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, so we thought aloe is a really right fit.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: And also aloe as an active ingredient, it is extremely effective.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: So, even to kind of give you some context, the type of aloe we've chosen, uh, so in aloe, there's different grades you can get, and our aloe um is called as 200 is to one.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: So, what that means is uh they actually take 200 kilos of allofilase to make one kilo of active ingredient.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of the the type of aloe we've used in this uh in this product, and we used 2% pure powder weight by weight uh in this serum.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: So it's very very concentrated uh and very effective from uh what kind of it says to itself.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Um and we combined with um NAG, the Nestyl glucosamine, um, which is another amazing active ingredient uh that can actually improve the surface exfoliation in a much gentler way.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Uh again, we wanted to take this route because acne prone skin is already uh partially irritated, and we wanted to kind of take this very uh basic approach to kind of be very effective uh for all the concerns around pre and post acne.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Um and we also have another peptide uh which is very new um to the industry, um, which kind of also uh helps with the post acne marks as well.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Uh so I think together um it's it's a beautiful uh Product that can target pre and post symptoms or conditions, skin conditions.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: And we've seen some amazing results in our testing.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Like, for example, I can uh kind of give you some uh it significantly reduces the appearance of post-acne arcs.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Um, and it also uh improves the um appearance of uneven skin tone and uh kind of feel of uneven skin texture uh in four to eight weeks.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Um and like I said, both from safety and efficacy standpoint, uh we've seen really good uh results with this with this product.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 22:42SPEAKER_03: That's really, really interesting.
- 22:44SPEAKER_03: And you know, that's important as well because you know, right now I think, especially with the summer months coming up, I know people are gonna start experiencing more hyperpigmentation.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: They're gonna start seeing more acne scarring, um, in the, you know, in the sense that obviously when we're exposed to the sun, we're going to get more any type of hyperpigmentation, but whether that's post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, whether that's just, you know, randomly going out in the sun, getting freckles, you know, or if you have acne and you're going out in the sun.
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: So this is, I think, a really, really great option and very timely, you know.
- 23:17SPEAKER_03: So I I love hearing that, and that's really cool.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: And I've actually really enjoyed this serum specifically for the.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: I think it's um a very, very interesting one.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: And I have a question for you later, but my first question um I I really want to ask you is about um, you know, the RD side of things, like, you know, because I know that formulating anything new is is gotta be difficult, right?
- 23:38SPEAKER_03: In terms of like um the innovation and the ideas and coming out with something new.
- 23:43SPEAKER_03: So, how has that been with the new launches, like from the RD perspective?
- 23:47SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, has anything changed from how you usually formulate for the ordinary?
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, uh, it's always an evolution um since since the start.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Um, I mean, our team, for example, is uh much different than what it was before.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: Um, so I mean, just to kind of give you some context, our team is just about one in 40 um and very structured um kind of with uh RD, regulatory and quality, kind of different teams.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And if I kind of uh dive into RD specifically, um we've added a lot more um different capabilities within our RD.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, there is a clinical research team uh whose focus is on safety and efficacy.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, we've got an analytical team who kind of extends into helping us uh looking into raw materials, right?
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Like, for example, aloe as an example.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Uh, we want to make sure there's no heavy metals.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Uh, we want to make sure there's no pesticides in the allo.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Um, we also have an in-house microbiology team who helps in the research uh stage until the commercialization.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: So every product, our in-house team is very deeply involved in uh ensuring that our product passes uh the challenge testing and also the commercialization.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: And at the same time, uh, from the research standpoint, we've added a dedicated team uh in putting more focus into a concept of every single product and also having relevant and deep understanding of science in each and every SKU that we're launching.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Um at the same time, we're very open looking out uh to the industry uh for all this uh look out on uh innovative technologies, innovative platforms, uh, and also innovative missionary that can help us uh make something new uh and different.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Like, for example, um, we have invested into microfluidization technology, which we actually leverage for um a SKU that we launched uh in the past, NMF plus H A for Scalp, um, which is truly one of its kind.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Um until date, um within B2C setting, no one has ever used microfluidizer.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Um and again, we use such technology to be extremely relevant to the application.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Um, because like NMF plus HA or NMF are kind of our moisturizers, uh, and without microfluidizer, we would not be able to achieve a texture uh like a thin milk, which could make really easy uh for a scalp application.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: So uh truly to summarize, um we have a lot more infrastructure resource and experts uh within our team today to be even more effective and confident and targeted towards our launches.
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 26:52SPEAKER_03: And I and I, you know, that makes sense because you guys are always on the cutting edge, I feel like, you know, like even the products, like, you know, as a consumer, like they really speak for themselves, you know, and the formulas really, really resonate, you know, when you try the products, and this is really for all of our listeners out there, you know, when you try I know all of you have tried the ordinary.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: I mean, let's be honest here, you know, and every product it's just you can tell, you can tell that the the mind and the scientific mind, which is Pur Three, you know, behind it is is extraordinary because the products work and they they work really, really well.
- 27:25SPEAKER_03: And so yeah, I I completely can see what you mean, put you the being the first to you know utilize certain technologies because those results speak for themselves, you know, and they really resonate.
- 27:36SPEAKER_03: So, with that being said, I I want to uh actually have you finish because I know you were um going down the six products for us, and I want to talk about the two moisturizers, and I want you to dive into those and explain to us like why you created those moisturizers and what the difference is between them, if you could.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: So before I jump into moisturizers, I just want to uh close off the treat uh with one additional point.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: So uh both the serums are extremely light in texture, and again, uh, this is all to give the ability to layer um one or two products if needed.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: So, which is why most of our serums under Ordinary are extremely light, minimalistic, and dropperable, and very layer friendly.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Um, so in case if you need to add more products on top, like a moisturizer makeup, it really supports that.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Um so now uh to moisturizers.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: So this time around, we're launching or we've launched one already, and there's one to go.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Um, so the first one is NMF plus phytoceramites.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: And I would like to kind of um step back and kind of say we wanted to take like a spectrum approach.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: So NMF plus H A is our moisturizer, and that was kind of our first uh within our moisturizer category, and that kind of have a balanced texture.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: Um, it is not light, uh, it is not heavy, but it just sits in between.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, and the prime focus of NMF plus HA is a moisturizer.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, it really complements after uh the treat step and it just seals um the skin with adequate hydration.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: So with phytoceramites, we wanted to kind of extend that spectrum to the richer side of things and we wanted to provide an extreme rich emulsion.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, so from a chemistry standpoint, our NMF plus HA is like an oil and water emulsion, um, and the phytoceramites is a water-in-oil emulsion.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Uh, so generally, uh makeup or sunscreens, they tend to kind of use uh that type of emulsion.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Um, again, that type of emulsions are very rich.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Um, they adhere uh to the skin for much more longer time.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Um, but still uh the product is proven to be uh non-comitogenic, non-sensitizing, um, and it really um is extremely hydrating.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: I know there's a lot of uh consumers that like to um use acids or retinoids um or that kind of takes some professional treatments to uh undergo peeling.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: Um I think for um something like that, just as an extension, phytoceramites just really fits.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Um and also uh in in colder weather conditions uh when skin needs extreme hydration, I think uh phytoceramite just perfectly suits.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Um so that's kind of to summarize the phytoceramites.
- 30:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:41unknown: Yeah.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: And just sorry, one other point before we jump on to the next moisturizer.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: So I know phytoceramites um uh came um with a little bit of a pricey tag, but uh like I said, the the the chemistry or the formula design um is water and oil emulsion, which naturally tends to uh be more heavy with the ingredients that it contains.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: So, for example, if I compare the NMF plus HA and phytoceramides, uh, phytoceramides contains nearly four times more moisturizing emollients and two times more uh humectants in the formula.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: So, like it feels very rich, the formula is also extremely rich uh in the ingredient standpoint.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: Um, I think it's very important to know that difference uh because otherwise it could be seen as uh NMF plus H is maybe affordable, but uh the phytocermites uh could be seen as a little pricey.
- 31:41SPEAKER_03: That makes sense.
- 31:43SPEAKER_03: I think I mean, you know, if you want a good formula, you have to understand that you have to trust the brand.
- 31:48SPEAKER_03: You know, that's I'm a big believer in that.
- 31:49SPEAKER_03: You have to trust the brand.
- 31:50SPEAKER_03: And if you know a brand works, which I know, you know, everyone knows the ordinary works, you know, at this point.
- 31:57SPEAKER_03: Um, you have to trust that, you know, you guys are known for your amazing price tags, you know, you're known for your amazing accessibility, you know, prices and you know, accessible prices, sorry, I should say.
- 32:06SPEAKER_03: And you know, if there is something that is a little pricier, there's a very good reason behind that, you know, and that is probably the technology.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: So I mean, I think that that is something that for consumers out there that are listening, I mean, should be a no-brainer because as you guys know, the ordinary is also it it's already as well priced as you're gonna get, you know, with really, really good skincare.
- 32:30SPEAKER_03: So I mean, I'm glad you mentioned that though.
- 32:32SPEAKER_03: You know, I'm glad you put that out there.
- 32:33SPEAKER_03: That's very uh noble of you guys to be so like, you know, transparent about that.
- 32:37SPEAKER_03: I think that's important, but I I still believe that it's well worth the money.
- 32:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, you're getting something that's you're really getting the real deal here.
- 32:45SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I I love that now.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: So let me uh explain to you about our uh third moisturizer within the range, which is NMF plus beta-glucan.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Um so that kind of spectrum example I was mentioning, NMF plus HA in the in the middle and phytoceramites uh on the richer side.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: We wanted to have something uh that's extremely light, but still being effective as a moisturizer.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So um that kind of opened up uh the opportunity for NMF plus beta-glucan, uh, which is a gel format.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Uh so this is uh one of its uh kind within the moisturizer lineup we have.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: Uh and again, uh, this is to kind of give another option uh from a sensory standpoint uh to be able to really personalize the regimen.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Uh so this could uh suit very well for an oily skin uh or um from a weather standpoint uh in a hotter uh climate, uh, this could be uh an absolute fit.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: Um so even though it's an extreme uh light and gel texture, like I explained, uh we wanted this product to be extremely effective moisturizer uh from active ingredient standpoint.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: So for example, uh we've still used uh the same skin-identical natural moisturizing factors.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: Uh, we've used ceramites, we've used beta glucan um as a polysaccharide uh extractor from Rishi mushrooms.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: Uh so as the active ingredients uh uh by design, uh they feel extremely light, uh, but from efficacy standpoint, they're really effective.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and still, like our other moisturizers, this is non-irritating, um, non-comitogenic.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Uh, but still, within our clinical testings for efficacy, uh, it showed amazing results in strengthening and improving the skin barrier in just one application.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: So uh definitely uh give it a try.
- 34:45SPEAKER_03: Wow, I love that.
- 34:47SPEAKER_03: That's so cool.
- 34:47SPEAKER_03: And that's so perfect for the summer months coming up.
- 34:50SPEAKER_03: That's perfect.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: I mean, I know there's a lot of people who really enjoy that really like light texture in their moisturizer.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: So that's such a perfect um timing for that.
- 34:59SPEAKER_03: So I I mean I encourage everyone out there, especially if you have like oily skin, right?
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Pradvi, if you have like oilier skin, you could like use this as an option.
- 35:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that that's really cool.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: Absolutely like just in time.
- 35:11SPEAKER_03: Awesome.
- 35:14SPEAKER_03: I wanna I want to actually ask you, Pradvi, I want to ask you about this um this allo 2% and NAG 2% solution.
- 35:21SPEAKER_03: I mean, I love this serum.
- 35:23SPEAKER_03: This is one of my favorite serums.
- 35:25SPEAKER_03: It's like because I use your um the BHA, the AHA 30% and the BHA 2% peeling solution.
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: And what I do is after I use that, I apply this serum on top, like afterwards.
- 35:39SPEAKER_03: And it works so nicely for my skin because it calms everything down.
- 35:44SPEAKER_03: So that's another question I have for you too is like if eventually you could address that, like, you know, in terms of like the the calming properties of the serum.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Um, I I mean, like you said, um it it is very complementary, and and the primary objective of that serum is uh to to kind of um visibly reduce the um any skin conditions that it may have, uh like for example, redness or um any sorts of irritation.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah, there's definitely no issues or contraindications uh to use the bow together.
- 36:21SPEAKER_03: That's awesome.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, it works really well.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: That's why I was like, let me just bring it up, you know, in case because um I know a lot of you, a lot of consumers, you know, like they I see TikTok all the time.
- 36:31SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately, I have had to go to TikTok, you know.
- 36:33SPEAKER_03: I'm not a TikTok generation person, but I've gone there and people have been like, you know, well, you know, with certain peels, uh not necessarily this one, but in general with peels and you know, any kind of like uh, you know, peeling solutions or masks or whatever, they have this redness afterwards.
- 36:49SPEAKER_03: And so I wanted to actually bring that up and get your opinion about that, you know, using this serum afterwards, you know, with the ordinary peeling solution, because it works in terms of reducing redness.
- 37:00SPEAKER_03: I mean, I never have huge issues, anyways, because I think that you know, the peeling solution is beautifully formulated and it works absolutely like wonders for my skin.
- 37:10SPEAKER_03: But like just to help my skin heal, this has been such a godsend for me in terms of like a follow-up step.
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: So that's why I really brought it up.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: So happy to hear.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so happy to hear.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: And and just additionally, uh, I mean, aloe can also be used alongside niacinamide, uh, 10%, uh, zinc 1%, or also hyaluronic acid 2% plus B5, or even the multipeptide uh plus the HS serum.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: I think it really uh complements um and fits kind of within any any routine uh that anyone is looking for.
- 37:43SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 37:44SPEAKER_03: No, I mean that's that's a really great point.
- 37:46SPEAKER_03: Um and you know, I I really think that one of the things um, and I kind of want you to address this a little bit if you could, Pradvi, is this idea of like people like, you know, in the beginning, right?
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: Like I remember when I first discovered NEOD, like NEOD for me was like this holy grail skincare line that I stumbled upon, like back before skincare anarchy even existed.
- 38:09SPEAKER_03: And I remember when I first went onto the website, I was so enamored by like the beautiful, like you guys did not cut corners, you know, you were out there saying this is the formula, this is the chemical, you know, name, this is the name of the actual molecule that we put in this, you know what I mean?
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: It was like really in there.
- 38:26SPEAKER_03: And I want to ask you, you know, when people are actually combining products from OLABs, right?
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, what are some things that they need to understand?
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Like, is there anything like any kind of like um, I don't know, like preset like routine or anything like that that you could tell them about?
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: Or is it okay to just mix and match however you feel best?
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I mean, I could generally um kind of give some context to that.
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: So uh um I think our website is a perfect resource for that.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: So we've actually got a regimen builder, um, and and that regimen builder is very logically built uh to guide any new or existing skincare user uh again, based on their skin concern, uh, to direct them in the right direction.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: So uh so technically speaking, uh, I mean, I personally recommend um any one uh skin concern to actually drive that journey.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: And um I would be extremely conservative and minimalistic, right?
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Like I know uh a lot of people love to use a lot of products together in one regimen, uh, but it's actually not needed.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: Um so, like the ordinary structure, prep, treat, and seal, that's actually the way to go.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: And uh just one to two products um within each uh category should just perfectly fit.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: And there are some nuances within what to use together or what not to use together.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: So for example, uh when we're formulating products, we don't put acids and peptides together uh because peptides uh chemistry uh is not able to support in an acidic pH or in a high alkaline pH.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: So when we're when anyone is using uh, like for example, our gerlene metrics, so it's better not to have uh them used in the same routine, but they can absolutely use them uh one in uh the evening, for example, an acid or in the morning, a peptide uh could kind of be uh designed um in that way.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: Or uh another example is uh I think the most popularly asked question is niacinamide and vitamin C.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: Um so uh we usually don't recommend combining them um because we actually went to a point of testing it actually on an exuvo skin.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: Um so we actually uh have the ability, like I said, we have a clinical lab, uh, we have something called RAM and spectroscopy.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: Uh we actually have the ability to bring exivo skin models, um, where you can actually pick the gender, age group, uh, and you can actually get the skin, uh human skin, but exivo.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: Um so we actually went to a point of designing a study to actually see the difference.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: So we applied niacinamide by itself, the 10% formula and one-of-or vitamin C formula separately, and we were able to see um how they're kind of um being through the skin, and we actually combined them as well uh in the same design and saw how they are um negating each other.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: So, which is why uh we usually don't recommend combining niacinamide and vitamin C as well in the same regimen, um for that exact reason.
- 41:58SPEAKER_03: I didn't know that.
- 41:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so uh yeah, yeah.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: So otherwise, I I think um my kind of uh my two stance is um leverage the regimen builder, um kind of categorize your regimen uh in in these steps, start slow and just um let your skin concern drive um the design of your regimen.
- 42:23SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: And I love that you guys have that available on the website.
- 42:26SPEAKER_03: That's really, really important to have.
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: And I think, yeah, I agree.
- 42:30SPEAKER_03: We should all be, I'm gonna utilize that because I use a lot of products by the ordinary.
- 42:34SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I'm gonna definitely utilize that myself.
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: Um now one of uh one of the big questions I also have, you know, um for you, Prathvi specifically, is were any of the products, like one specifically, was there one that was the most challenging um in terms of formulating?
- 42:50SPEAKER_03: And if so, why?
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: Actually, two.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: Um, so NMF plus phytoceramides um was extremely tricky.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: Um, again, water and oil emulsions are are tricky to formulate.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: And as you all know, um the the chemistry, you you can't combine water and oil together, and we need to force them.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: So, so I mean, we force them with energy and emulsifiers to have them close together uh for a period of time, but eventually it's inevitable the oil and water will separate.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: Uh, but the objective is to keep them intact until their shelf life.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, in the spectrum of emulsions, um, the oil and water uh are the most stable, and water and oil are extremely delicate.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: So we had really tough time um designing the formula and also scaling up the formula to bigger sizes.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: So, for example, one of the amazing things with endesium is uh we've got all the resources from end to end.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: So we can design the formula, we can also make the formula.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: And our uh sizes are we can start anywhere from three kilos until 5,000 kilos.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Um so in the process of scaling the product up, um it was um it was a big challenge.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: And and because of the delicateness of the the emulsion, it was extremely hard.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: Um and then the next one is the aloe.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Um aloe was um, I mean, we started thinking it's probably an easy one, but um it took us so many trials.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: And the reason being the type of aloe we chose, uh, like I said, it's the 200 to one ratio, the most concentrated aloe you could find.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and sugars are not good uh when you're actually putting the foreign land under stress.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: Um so we had to do hundreds of reiterations uh to actually get to the final one.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: Um I would say the two um were kind of the nightmares.
- 44:58SPEAKER_03: Wow, no, I can imagine that's uh I mean you're using very, very, you know, like a new approach.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: So I can definitely see it being challenging.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: But yeah, that that's not I mean, hey, you're the expert here for a reason.
- 45:08SPEAKER_03: So I'm glad that I'm glad you know how to do it, and I'm glad that you're creating it for us because I I really, really love those products and I mean they're really phenomenal.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: So I mean, I would I would say that you've done an extraordinary job.
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: So thank you for creating those for us because they're they're lovely.
- 45:26SPEAKER_03: Um my next question is um, you know, I know that you had addressed this a little bit earlier, but you know, in terms of the synergy amongst the products and the new products, but um, if you were to suggest like some that work the very best together, like would what would your suggestions be like in terms of which ones work the absolute best um when you just put them together?
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: So I I would say, I mean, it's um again, it comes down to the skin concern, right?
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: So for example, um anyone um that has kind of an acne prone skin, the best things actually to combine.
- 46:04SPEAKER_00: So for example, uh the recent launch of um glucoside foaming cleanser.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: So I mean, most of the acne prone skins are uh tend to be oily.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: Uh so glucoside um is kind of the perfect cleanser to choose.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: Um, and if there is active acne spots, um, I think salyslic 2% solution that we have does a really phenomenal job.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: And now with our aloe 2%, um, which can be your um staple always?
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: Uh so saluslick I would only recommend when you actually see um an active acne spot, but otherwise, uh there's truly no point unless you want to uh kind of exfoliate the skin.
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: Um but allo 2% uh in in that regimen can be a daily product uh which can help maintain the skin, uh, especially for acne-prone skin.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: Um and then uh as uh as a moisturizer, NMF plus HA uh could be a perfect fit, or our NMF plus beta glucan, our new moisturizer can also uh perfectly suit.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: So and that a regimen that could be very complementary to the skin.
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: Um on the other hand, if uh someone is looking for um an age support solution, um, they could always start with something like um a glycolipid cleanser uh and a multipeptide HA and a multipeptide I and it could end with um plus photoseramides.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: I think uh the way the products are designed and different products across these categories could really complement each other.
- 47:44SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: Thank you for that.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it makes sense actually.
- 47:47SPEAKER_03: I mean, I think I'm using that um the the routine correctly, so that's good.
- 47:51SPEAKER_03: I'm glad to hear that.
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: Um, so you know, to round out the interview, Pravi, I want to ask you, you know, how do you feel that your team has grown from this, you know, from the perspective of science through this whole process of creating these brand new products and you know, anything that you would um want to comment on in that regard?
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would love to, I would love to explain this.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: So um when we started, um, we were such a small and nimble team.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: Um but every step of the way, um, the things that we we thought are essential uh in the process of uh the product life cycle, one day we wanted to have them in-house.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: And and I can very happily say that I think now we have every expert, every resource um that is needed in the making of product is in-house today.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: Um so, like I said, um, I mean, almost nine, 10 years ago, um it just started with one person, um, Brandon, and then in the lab, it was myself.
- 48:56SPEAKER_00: And today, just our scientific team uh is about 140 people.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: Um, and it spans between um uh a bachelor's degree to a PhD.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: Um, and like I said, uh we have RD team, which is about 30, 30 chemists, uh, which are working um across uh different brands, uh different subcategories, uh, and we have clinical team uh who are true scientists with PhDs, uh, whose scope is truly, truly uh safety and efficacy.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: Um we have analytical team, again, uh PhDs in uh helping us analyze, validate, support uh the percentage claims or the heavy metals or the pesticides uh who are giving us confidence in the formulations we're making.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: And the microbiology team, uh, which is the most sensitive thing within the manufacturing and also the shelf life of the product.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: Um, so we have a team of about uh 11 microbiologists, and we have our own microbiology lab, um, which is kind of helping us uh kind of continue uh the process.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: And we also have toxicologists um within our team who kind of from their lens uh looks at the formula, looks at the design, uh, looks at the delivery of uh these formulas to the skin and guides us in the right direction to say, hey, this might seem high or this might seem too low.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: Um so again, uh we're lucky to have all these subject matter experts uh and together uh is what makes uh the Decium Labs or the ordinary labs.
- 50:40SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: I love how well-rounded you guys are too.
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: That's that's really, really nice to hear.
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: You have the microbiology and toxicology component there as well.
- 50:49SPEAKER_03: I mean, that's very rare to see, especially these days.
- 50:51SPEAKER_03: You know, I I know that I recently, I think about a month ago, I wrote I had written a paper about the toxicology and cosmosceuticals and the and how important it is.
- 51:00SPEAKER_03: And I I'm so surprised sometimes for the about how there are people out there that create products and they don't have a toxicologist on board.
- 51:08SPEAKER_03: You know, it's like I it blows my mind.
- 51:10SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, how do you do that?
- 51:13SPEAKER_03: You know, you like you have to you have to have somebody like that, you know?
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: So absolutely, yeah.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Um and like I said, we're very happy um that now we have a whole community of experts um to put energy into this engine to make new products.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 51:35SPEAKER_03: And then and congratulations um to the whole Dossium team for for growing so beautifully.
- 51:40SPEAKER_03: And you know, it's it's so cool to see that.
- 51:42SPEAKER_03: That's really, really interesting.
- 51:44SPEAKER_03: Now, my last question for you is um, is there anything that you would like our audience to know about the new launches?
- 51:50SPEAKER_03: Or really actually, you know, more so I want to get any advice you have, you know, about skin health, about utilizing these beautiful new products and just you know, taking care of our largest organ, you know, any kind of words of wisdom that you can offer us.
- 52:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so um, like I started with um Ordinary is all about giving you uh the right products to be able to truly personalize your regimen.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Um, so my biggest recommendation is uh understand what the skin concern is and design a regimen that perfectly suits your skin and suits uh the type of style that you're looking for.
- 52:31SPEAKER_00: Um so um always try to use um as less products as possible.
- 52:37SPEAKER_00: I know I should not be saying this, um, but you really don't need too many products.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: Um just follow uh the guardrails, uh, like explain prep, treat, and seal.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: I think that's the way to go.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: That's the way to structure your regimen.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: Um, and and just uh keep uh speaking to your skin directly.
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: I think your skin uh could respond uh if it becomes too much or if it's uh really helping, uh, it is the best uh reflection of uh if you're going in the right direction or not.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: So those are kind of my uh few sense, I'd say.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: No, I love that.
- 53:18SPEAKER_03: That's really, really good advice.
- 53:19SPEAKER_03: And I like that you said that.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: And you know, for everyone listening out there, you know, I just want to say um, as someone who has been a huge fan of not only Putvi's work, but everything that Desium does, I mean, I am literally one of their biggest fans.
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: I'm not just saying that like I've been a huge fan for many, many, many uh, you know, like iterations and different formulations.
- 53:45SPEAKER_03: Every time they come out with something, I'm always like on board with trying it, buying it, whatever I can do.
- 53:50SPEAKER_03: And I can tell you honestly, if you guys use this line and this, you know, these products, whatever they are for you, you're going to see results.
- 53:58SPEAKER_03: Like that's my personal opinion as a consumer and as also as a scientist myself.
- 54:03SPEAKER_03: You know, I think that there's a huge difference that can be seen between truly efficacious lines versus those that are not.
- 54:10SPEAKER_03: And, you know, Desium, the ordinary, OLABs, NEOD, every single one, you know, you're gonna see a huge difference compared to a lot of the products out there because it's all based on real science, it's all based on efficacy, it's all based on things that work.
- 54:29SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's the that's the end all be all.
- 54:31SPEAKER_03: You know, it works.
- 54:32SPEAKER_03: And so, you know, I really urge all of our listeners go, you know, check out whatever product resonates with you, really, really take advantage of that, you know, the the resource available on the website to build your routine and you know, leave us any comments, feedbacks, questions that you might have for Pradhvi's team.
