- 6:20Speaker 2: There's gonna be a lot of Joe fashion tonight, so
- 6:22Speaker 2: stay tuned. Sally, all right, maka's Joe said that he
- 6:34Speaker 2: loves your new picture. There, Sally, old and aunt you, Dean,
- 6:43Speaker 2: what's up. Let's go in the hot rail of the
- 6:45Speaker 2: hell some wet, slippery and gallous this week. You have
- 6:50Speaker 2: no idea? Mm hmm, all right, Joe. That's everybody that's
- 6:57Speaker 2: either here or going to be here for now.
- 7:01Speaker 3: But all right, so.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Let's get into it. Your trip a little bit. How
- 7:10Speaker 2: was your trip? I've never taken like an ampack or
- 7:13Speaker 2: anything anywhere. So how was your trip down from the
- 7:19Speaker 2: lovely north the Yankee state of Connecticut into the almost
- 7:23Speaker 2: dirty south of Maryland? Yeah?
- 7:26Speaker 3: Is it past the Mason Dixon Line.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It was not there. Northerners, all right, Virginia or no,
- 7:34Speaker 2: I take that back, they are considered it's part of
- 7:37Speaker 2: the South, the Mason Dixon lines Pennsylvania.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Okay, I knew it was one of those.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Uh. Yeah, so you did come to the dirty, well
- 7:45Speaker 2: not the dirty South, but the South.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a kind of seamless trip down for sure.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I trained out at about Sunday morning mid morning, got
- 7:59Speaker 3: their close to.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Well back up for a second, just explain to me
- 8:03Speaker 2: how this how the train trip goes. Is it set
- 8:07Speaker 2: up something like like an airplane trip where you have
- 8:09Speaker 2: a stewardess or is there a pisser in every car?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Can you eat on there? I mean, give me some
- 8:15Speaker 2: nuance here.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Okay, so there's no stewardesses really, I mean there are
- 8:21Speaker 3: like attendants that come by and check your ticket and
- 8:24Speaker 3: like they might get some trash once.
- 8:26Speaker 2: In a while. Did you have a private car?
- 8:29Speaker 3: No? I actually couldn't get a seat right away, so
- 8:32Speaker 3: I had to go in the silent car, which is
- 8:35Speaker 3: like where you can't make any noise. And it was
- 8:41Speaker 3: pretty good for the first couple hours. I didn't have any.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That would not have gone well in the silent car.
- 8:50Speaker 5: No, but I had my headphones in and you know,
- 8:55Speaker 5: I didn't have any skuffoozs next to me for at
- 8:58Speaker 5: least the first two hours, and then I had like
- 9:00Speaker 5: two different scuffooss next to me for the next few hours.
- 9:04Speaker 3: You know, it's like four and a half four forty
- 9:06Speaker 3: five down. Wasn't bad. Trained to New Carrollton Maryland, which
- 9:13Speaker 3: is about twenty minutes from the hotel we were staying.
- 9:21Speaker 3: It was fine. I mean, you know, the seats were
- 9:24Speaker 3: were fine. You know there there is a beverage and
- 9:29Speaker 3: and food car. There is bathrooms, every trainer two whatever
- 9:36Speaker 3: you call them. I kind of just locked in into
- 9:42Speaker 3: the laptop and prep and it kind of went by
- 9:47Speaker 3: pretty quickly. Definitely better than the way back, That's what
- 9:50Speaker 3: I'll say.
- 9:54Speaker 2: But you arrive in New Carrollton, Maryland. Lovely New Carrollton, Yes,
- 9:58Speaker 2: and then what do you gotta do you gotta uber
- 10:00Speaker 2: to Are you staying at Airbnb or are you staying
- 10:03Speaker 2: at a hotel? Legit hotel.
- 10:04Speaker 3: We're staying at a legit hotel. I'll have a picture
- 10:07Speaker 3: of that in the PowerPoint. And it was nice. I
- 10:10Speaker 3: think I bullshited with the Uber driver about Nara.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Who was your Uber driver? Male or female?
- 10:19Speaker 3: It was male. It was like the meal Amal Mohammed
- 10:25Speaker 3: wh something like that, Yeah, or it might have been
- 10:30Speaker 3: Hispanic actually a.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Hispanic named Mohammed.
- 10:36Speaker 3: No, I mean it was marcos Man. So I took
- 10:40Speaker 3: like eight Uber rides because I was only originally planning
- 10:46Speaker 3: to stay Sunday night and Monday night. And then leaving
- 10:50Speaker 3: Tuesday night. I ended up extending it for a night,
- 10:54Speaker 3: but because of the U of M University of Maryland graduation,
- 10:59Speaker 3: the race triple to four hundred and fifty dollars a night.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Your boy's not paying four to fifty at night. It
- 11:07Speaker 3: was a nice hotel, but it's not that nice. It
- 11:10Speaker 3: could I could take a trip to you know, the
- 11:13Speaker 3: Bahamas or c Sally with that type of rate. So
- 11:17Speaker 3: I found another hotel, which I had to check out
- 11:21Speaker 3: of my first hotel on Tuesday morning and go to
- 11:25Speaker 3: the new hotel. Or actually I left my luggage at
- 11:29Speaker 3: the concierge checked in after Monday or after Tuesday, I'm sorry.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And it was only like two hundred bucks at night.
- 11:41Speaker 3: So it was a lot of ubering back and forth.
- 11:45Speaker 3: So I took like ten different ubers.
- 11:47Speaker 2: So what time did you get there on Sunday?
- 11:50Speaker 3: I got there at about to the hotel at about
- 11:53Speaker 3: four pm. I checked in. Yeah, I you know, unpacked
- 11:59Speaker 3: a couple of things. Then I get a call from
- 12:01Speaker 3: Andrew Wyler, who kind of spearheaded this journey and was
- 12:07Speaker 3: the leader of us in a sense and the coordinator.
- 12:11Speaker 3: He goes, I'm at the restaurant bar downstairs, and I'm like,
- 12:15Speaker 3: all right, I'll come down, twist my arm and we
- 12:24Speaker 3: you know, I obviously I spent a lot of time
- 12:26Speaker 3: with him at Lancer and this past November, and really
- 12:32Speaker 3: chill guy. And we had a bunch of apps, a
- 12:35Speaker 3: couple of drinks and waited for Mark and his very
- 12:40Speaker 3: nice girlfriend to show up, which would have been like
- 12:42Speaker 3: two or three hours later, so you can imagine all
- 12:45Speaker 3: that played out.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Oh he brought his lady friend.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Huh yeah, I mean they were on a separate trip,
- 12:53Speaker 3: but she flew back the next morning, I believe. But
- 12:58Speaker 3: then of course we bullshited some more as Mark came in,
- 13:02Speaker 3: and Mark is an amazing chilled guy. We had a
- 13:06Speaker 3: bunch of laughs. We had a bunch of laughs with everyone,
- 13:09Speaker 3: and then we're waiting for the other two Canadians to
- 13:12Speaker 3: come in. And again, so we have five people on
- 13:16Speaker 3: storming the archives. Three of them are Canadian.
- 13:20Speaker 2: And that would be Paul Blow and his brother Peter John.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Oh, John, And so we go back up to the
- 13:33Speaker 3: rooms for a second, get our scanners and then we
- 13:36Speaker 3: do a scanner check. Exciting stuff.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And what did you use to check your scanners?
- 13:46Speaker 3: Well, I have some pictures of this, but essentially.
- 13:49Speaker 2: All sack in there and you know, no, no.
- 13:53Speaker 3: It was like a check in paper, some receipt or something.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I got so frustrated trying to install the drivers for
- 14:04Speaker 3: the scanner that I said I gave up on Saturday,
- 14:08Speaker 3: and my girlfriend had to actually do it, and she
- 14:12Speaker 3: actually did a little note that says E Heart's Jay
- 14:17Speaker 3: and scanned it and I went to my desktop a
- 14:20Speaker 3: folder of my desktop. So it's like, all right, I'm good,
- 14:24Speaker 3: Well come ten pm, scanner check. My drivers aren't working.
- 14:31Speaker 3: And we had to reinstall and re mind. It took
- 14:33Speaker 3: like forty five minutes. So Andrew's going around to us
- 14:36Speaker 3: four the other four helping each of us set up
- 14:44Speaker 3: our scanners, because the last thing you want is to
- 14:46Speaker 3: get to the archives and have a problem, right, So
- 14:49Speaker 3: I have a funny picture of Andrew with his hand
- 14:53Speaker 3: in his face, like, oh my god. But he really
- 14:59Speaker 3: really did an amazing job getting us preparated and with
- 15:03Speaker 3: our advanced pull requests. So you can't you can just
- 15:08Speaker 3: go to the archives and say I want this, I
- 15:10Speaker 3: want that, but you have to have record group numbers,
- 15:14Speaker 3: you have to have folder numbers, riff numbers, aren't enough
- 15:19Speaker 3: unless you go up to the head JFK archivist on
- 15:22Speaker 3: the third floor and talk to him and get him
- 15:24Speaker 3: to locate them. So it's a process. But he helped
- 15:29Speaker 3: me out with that a lot, and by Monday morning
- 15:33Speaker 3: when I got there, my cart, which we'll see in
- 15:36Speaker 3: a little bit was ready for me with my boxes.
- 15:40Speaker 3: So he really did Andrew did a great job of
- 15:43Speaker 3: getting us all prepared. And it was not an easy
- 15:46Speaker 3: task because you know, it was pretty much most of
- 15:50Speaker 3: our first times to the archives, and they do not
- 15:55Speaker 3: make it easy, okay. And I think they knew we
- 15:59Speaker 3: were in, or if not, then they were definitely their
- 16:04Speaker 3: spidy senses went up once we got there, because I
- 16:07Speaker 3: don't think five JFK researchers would scanners and all this
- 16:12Speaker 3: stuff come in at once and overwhelm them.
- 16:16Speaker 2: We definitely not well.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I know this because we got management's attention and they
- 16:22Speaker 3: were down by us a lot. And we had what
- 16:27Speaker 3: we call the walkers. Okay, so these are people that
- 16:31Speaker 3: walk the circle around the room and give you shit
- 16:38Speaker 3: for every little infraction. Oh look, a corner of your
- 16:41Speaker 3: pages on your laptop, or a corner of your pages
- 16:44Speaker 3: on your charger cord. And I get it, you know,
- 16:51Speaker 3: I guess it could they could come go on fire
- 16:53Speaker 3: or something. I don't know, but they were hovering, they
- 16:57Speaker 3: were paying attention to us, and it was you know,
- 17:06Speaker 3: I I didn't know what to expect, man, I had
- 17:08Speaker 3: no idea what to expect. I didn't have like a visual. Yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 3: I have the picture I'll show and the PowerPoint in
- 17:16Speaker 3: a minute. You're pretty much going through airport security every
- 17:20Speaker 3: time you go in and out right, you're getting wanded
- 17:23Speaker 3: down everything like that. You have to scan your little
- 17:30Speaker 3: research card every every door you go through. It's it's something, man.
- 17:38Speaker 2: It's called a government building. Joe welcome.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah, well.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So did each did each one of you have somebody
- 17:48Speaker 2: assigned to you or was just one person like generally
- 17:51Speaker 2: taking care of all you all of you?
- 17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so the shifts shifted for lack for better, It
- 18:00Speaker 3: wasn't just any one person assigned to us. It was
- 18:03Speaker 3: just there walking around and they're shifting. There was one
- 18:09Speaker 3: guy who was kind of, I guess assigned to us,
- 18:16Speaker 3: and he kind of gave us his card and was
- 18:19Speaker 3: trying to be helpful. Of course, it was also semi stonewalling,
- 18:24Speaker 3: if you know what I mean. Then you had the
- 18:30Speaker 3: next level person up I guess, come and visit us
- 18:34Speaker 3: at least twice a day see what we were up to.
- 18:37Speaker 3: And then you had another BSD I guess on the
- 18:40Speaker 3: top floor come down, and you know, Andrew's just given
- 18:47Speaker 3: him like, you know, the whole nine yards of you
- 18:53Speaker 3: know how they're not really yep, you know they're not
- 18:59Speaker 3: really following the law with the Urban JFK. Rutgers Act.
- 19:04Speaker 3: And it was funny. It was funny. I love Andrew.
- 19:10Speaker 3: He has no chill. I mean not that he's not chill,
- 19:12Speaker 3: He's very chill, but he didn't let up on them
- 19:15Speaker 3: and I respect that a lot.
- 19:17Speaker 2: So how many hours a day like Monday they were
- 19:19Speaker 2: you in there.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Like we were in there eight hours a day?
- 19:23Speaker 2: They close at what five or whatever? Yeah, so from
- 19:30Speaker 2: open to clothes Monday and Tuesday and half a day Wednesday. Yes,
- 19:35Speaker 2: how many documents do you think you were able to
- 19:37Speaker 2: scan in that amount of time? Probably about two thousand
- 19:45Speaker 2: Joe Blunt Jr.
- 19:49Speaker 3: You know, it makes me really respect what Malcolm Blunt did.
- 19:53Speaker 3: And I don't know what the processes were when he
- 19:55Speaker 3: was there, but man, it was by Monday at three pm,
- 20:01Speaker 3: I was like oh, I was. I was like Donzo
- 20:06Speaker 3: for the day. But you know, Andrews like keep going, joke,
- 20:09Speaker 3: keep going.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Well, I think he had back then that you hadn't
- 20:15Speaker 2: used a copier or copiers that were in there in
- 20:19Speaker 2: the archives. And I'm pretty sure like every thing costs
- 20:24Speaker 2: like a dime, like back in the nineties, because you know,
- 20:30Speaker 2: portable printers back then, like you know, I couldn't take
- 20:34Speaker 2: my you know, my fat ass copier slash printer in
- 20:39Speaker 2: there with me and plug it in and just go
- 20:41Speaker 2: to town for free. You know, back in the nineties.
- 20:46Speaker 2: You remember, even like printers for computers didn't really use
- 20:54Speaker 2: that kind of paper like a copier machine, you know,
- 20:58Speaker 2: like a they were on a roll or something. So
- 21:02Speaker 2: I think there was a copy of copier machines back then.
- 21:04Speaker 2: They caused like ten cents each copy. So you said
- 21:08Speaker 2: feeding money. I mean, pockets are full of fucking damns.
- 21:13Speaker 2: He's like Chang Chan. You know, I'm sure it's a
- 21:17Speaker 2: workout back then for him.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I don't doubt it at all. And I mean it
- 21:24Speaker 3: was even a workout just doing it. I mean, obviously
- 21:27Speaker 3: they probably didn't have the digitized like put the scanner
- 21:31Speaker 3: up to your computer and then it goes into a
- 21:33Speaker 3: folder in your computer. Back then, but it was still
- 21:39Speaker 3: a huge challenge for sure, just to you know, because
- 21:43Speaker 3: papers are stuck together, so the scanner is on a
- 21:45Speaker 3: ten second Mmmm, flipped the paper. I sent you the video,
- 21:51Speaker 3: and then you have to you know, if it's staple,
- 21:55Speaker 3: it's a whole other thing. And then so I have
- 21:57Speaker 3: a bunch of blank pages in my folders just because
- 22:01Speaker 3: I didn't make the ten seconds sometime in a lot
- 22:04Speaker 3: of cases. But I got much better at it as
- 22:10Speaker 3: the days went on, and as I really started to
- 22:13Speaker 3: kind of get my feel on. It was Wednesday and
- 22:19Speaker 3: I had to leave.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Of course, just when you're getting into the groove.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah, two said, are you ready to organize a TLG
- 22:28Speaker 3: Narrow Expedition job. Well, you'd have to convince Rob. But
- 22:35Speaker 3: to that point we kind of described this as like
- 22:41Speaker 3: experiment and maybe something could happen in the future where
- 22:48Speaker 3: instead of five people, we have ten or fifteen kind
- 22:53Speaker 3: of storming the archives in a peaceful way, not in
- 22:56Speaker 3: a January sixth way or something.
- 22:58Speaker 4: But.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Walking there sunglasses on. Hope you boys got your running
- 23:06Speaker 2: shoes on today.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Right, And that's what I wanted to Actually, you bring
- 23:12Speaker 3: up a good point toobes. So I guess I want
- 23:16Speaker 3: to ask myself a question because I'm not really sure
- 23:18Speaker 3: the answer, because I've been to the last three Lancers,
- 23:22Speaker 3: and Lancer is great, and I've met a lot of
- 23:27Speaker 3: great and networked with a lot of great researchers there,
- 23:30Speaker 3: whether it be Andrew and Mark or Larry Hancock or
- 23:35Speaker 3: you know, you can go on and on, David Boyling,
- 23:41Speaker 3: what is the best way forward in terms of is
- 23:46Speaker 3: it more efficient to go to the archives or to
- 23:50Speaker 3: go to Dallas and make a talk Because I know
- 23:52Speaker 3: for us Rob when we presented it was virtually but
- 23:56Speaker 3: I was there at the sixtieth and we did a
- 23:59Speaker 3: lot of great research and presented a lot of great research.
- 24:03Speaker 3: It didn't really get out there that much.
- 24:05Speaker 2: No, we got zero feedback. Anybody answer right, And that's
- 24:11Speaker 2: if they can hear our presentation. Who knows. Again, we
- 24:15Speaker 2: can get on here twice, you know, every Friday night
- 24:19Speaker 2: and do a conference presentation if you will, we do right,
- 24:25Speaker 2: and we can make it longer and more detailed, more
- 24:27Speaker 2: visually appealing, and it doesn't doesn't cost anybody anything to watch,
- 24:33Speaker 2: you know what I mean? You have to buy a ticket.
- 24:35Speaker 2: You don't have to buy a plane ticket to get
- 24:36Speaker 2: to Dallas. You can sit in your living room or
- 24:40Speaker 2: sit on the toilet or whatever and watch us talk
- 24:44Speaker 2: about things that we find, you know, or new research
- 24:50Speaker 2: or new analysis or new scenarios and things like that.
- 24:54Speaker 2: So I have not been a fan of the whole
- 24:58Speaker 2: conference scene in a long time. And I think, you know,
- 25:03Speaker 2: if you're serious, if you want to be a theorist researcher,
- 25:07Speaker 2: you know, there's only so much you can do online.
- 25:09Speaker 2: There's only so much online. You know, there's only so
- 25:13Speaker 2: many books you can read. And how do you know
- 25:15Speaker 2: that those guys are doing the hard work and going
- 25:17Speaker 2: to the archives and doing things the right way and this,
- 25:20Speaker 2: that and the other. Because to find new information you need,
- 25:28Speaker 2: Like I said, you know, I think what ninety percent
- 25:31Speaker 2: of those documents in r are not digitized and they're
- 25:33Speaker 2: not online, correct, And I guarantee ninety percent of those
- 25:37Speaker 2: documents that are not digitized and not online, probably eighty
- 25:41Speaker 2: percent of them have never been seen by anybody, because again,
- 25:46Speaker 2: it's hard to nail down a riff number on a document,
- 25:50Speaker 2: a records group on a document, and a box number
- 25:53Speaker 2: on a document that you don't know even know exists.
- 25:57Speaker 2: You know, I'm sure there's like a master uh list somewhere, right,
- 26:05Speaker 2: but I mean there's millions of documents to go through, millions.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I mean, not in person can do that, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 2: in a lifetime. So you know it, you know, if
- 26:18Speaker 2: somebody has the time, the money, and the inclination to
- 26:22Speaker 2: go to Naura and you know, like you said, you
- 26:25Speaker 2: were there two and a half days, you know, you
- 26:27Speaker 2: got you were able to scan about two thousand documents,
- 26:30Speaker 2: but you don't really have time to look at what
- 26:31Speaker 2: you scan and maybe maybe you know on the surface,
- 26:36Speaker 2: but you can't like sit there and read every document
- 26:38Speaker 2: your scan and correct. You just have to be like, okay,
- 26:41Speaker 2: this is about so and so is it worse scan
- 26:44Speaker 2: and yeah, or worse scan and no type of thing
- 26:47Speaker 2: right right.
- 26:48Speaker 3: And that's kind of the adjustment I made because I
- 26:51Speaker 3: think that the first day I just kind of scanned
- 26:53Speaker 3: away at a bunch of things, and on the second day,
- 26:57Speaker 3: as I realized only got through three out of my
- 26:59Speaker 3: first eight boxes on the first day, it was like, Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna like skim a little bit and see if
- 27:06Speaker 3: this is worth scanning or not. Because I don't want
- 27:09Speaker 3: to sit there. These folders are like this thick, you
- 27:12Speaker 3: know in some cases, and some of it was like
- 27:14Speaker 3: HCA correspondence, blaky requests for something like not saying that's
- 27:20Speaker 3: not important. But it wasn't my goal, and so I
- 27:26Speaker 3: made that adjustment I think on page two or on
- 27:29Speaker 3: page two on day two, but even you know, you
- 27:34Speaker 3: could ask Andrew and Mark. On Tuesday, I came in
- 27:38Speaker 3: and I was like super frustrated at something because I
- 27:42Speaker 3: couldn't find the documents for some of the martins I
- 27:45Speaker 3: was looking into, and I was like, fuck, there's fucking bullshoot,
- 27:50Speaker 3: and like was so like frustrated. So it was eye opening,
- 27:57Speaker 3: it was frustrating, it was I think productive not only
- 28:03Speaker 3: for me but for the other four people that were there.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Of course, we haven't gone through what we've scanned yet,
- 28:08Speaker 3: because after three days of that, you know, you're kind
- 28:13Speaker 3: of jfkd out a little bit.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:20Speaker 3: It was, but it was also fun. You know, at
- 28:23Speaker 3: every after every day we go out to dinner, have
- 28:26Speaker 3: a drink, talk about what we might have or might
- 28:29Speaker 3: not have found. We had some good food, so you know,
- 28:37Speaker 3: it's it's also kind of about the camaraderie. And you
- 28:40Speaker 3: know Andrew remark obviously compliment from a very lower least standpoint,
- 28:46Speaker 3: but you.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Know where, you know, where else you met Andrew and
- 28:48Speaker 2: Mark and Larry and David and right here on this show.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Yes, go back and check.
- 28:55Speaker 2: You have to go to Dallas to meet him.
- 28:58Speaker 3: That's true.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You know, you develop a somewhat of a network when
- 29:03Speaker 2: you start doing this thing and you get in and
- 29:04Speaker 2: you see who's really serious about ship and who's not,
- 29:07Speaker 2: and who's full of shit and who's not. You know,
- 29:10Speaker 2: there's a very That's why, you know, I just don't
- 29:13Speaker 2: or we just don't invite every skafooza in the world
- 29:16Speaker 2: on the show because I'm a little more litigious when
- 29:25Speaker 2: it comes to who we have come on the show
- 29:29Speaker 2: and why we have them come on the show. And
- 29:32Speaker 2: it's you know, people that I think are doing good work,
- 29:35Speaker 2: people that I respect, and you know it, I just
- 29:44Speaker 2: don't you know when you when you when you hit
- 29:48Speaker 2: this tight little circle of and it's not very big,
- 29:51Speaker 2: trust me. Yeah, and and some some of these people
- 29:57Speaker 2: with the biggest names, you know, like everybody's oh, why
- 29:59Speaker 2: don't you have to for some Morley on your show?
- 30:01Speaker 3: No?
- 30:03Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry, I died. I don't think he does good work.
- 30:11Speaker 2: He has maybe thirty years ago when he was riding
- 30:15Speaker 2: John Newman's coat tails with the Jane Roman thing. But
- 30:18Speaker 2: you know, what have you done for me lately, sir,
- 30:22Speaker 2: You know, with the whole Joe and Needes thing and
- 30:25Speaker 2: the Russian documents and the Harvey thing. You know, like again,
- 30:32Speaker 2: it's not hard to use a little common sense. He
- 30:35Speaker 2: did not need an FA credential to carry a gun
- 30:39Speaker 2: on a plane in nineteen sixty three. I could have
- 30:42Speaker 2: done it. Joe could have done it. dB Cooper carried
- 30:48Speaker 2: a baumb on the plane allegedly nine years after JFK
- 30:54Speaker 2: was assassinated. And by the way, you don't have to
- 30:58Speaker 2: show ID when you get on a plane back and
- 31:01Speaker 2: you just tell them your name. You could tell them
- 31:05Speaker 2: you know my names, William Walter, whatever, whatever, you whoever
- 31:08Speaker 2: you wanted to be. It's not hard to conceal a
- 31:12Speaker 2: handgun in an underarm holster, you know, in the smaller
- 31:16Speaker 2: your back, on your hip wherever you want to carry
- 31:20Speaker 2: in your carry on, in your briefcase or whatever. They
- 31:23Speaker 2: didn't check nothing. So this whole big thing about you know,
- 31:28Speaker 2: needing using a false identity to travel and need a
- 31:32Speaker 2: permit from the FA to carry a weapon and all
- 31:35Speaker 2: this bullshit. It doesn't mean anything. Anybody could fly anywhere
- 31:39Speaker 2: under any name with gun, with handguns back then, it
- 31:44Speaker 2: didn't matter. So they're trying to make a big deal
- 31:49Speaker 2: out of nothing.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's the problem because there are very it's
- 31:56Speaker 3: a shrinking group of people that are actually serious. I mean,
- 31:59Speaker 3: you had three people almost make ten hour drives from
- 32:03Speaker 3: Canada to come down here. You know, I spent over
- 32:06Speaker 3: one thousand dollars doing this, spent eight hours a day
- 32:11Speaker 3: scanning documents. It's it's not easy to go to the archives,
- 32:16Speaker 3: and they don't really make it easy for you, of course,
- 32:20Speaker 3: but you got to look in the right places and
- 32:24Speaker 3: the right people that are at least making the effort,
- 32:27Speaker 3: even if you don't agree with them or what they
- 32:29Speaker 3: say or whatever.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Well, I think the people you went with are in
- 32:37Speaker 2: the group that you know are somewhat respectable and you know,
- 32:41Speaker 2: admired in the community for trying to do the right
- 32:43Speaker 2: thing and move the case forward and their own ways.
- 32:51Speaker 2: You know, again, we could we could sensationalize this show
- 32:56Speaker 2: every week.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Blowing the lid off to Kennedy assassination and exposing you
- 33:01Speaker 6: know whatever new evidence in the JFK assassination just to
- 33:06Speaker 6: get people to sit here and come watch us, you
- 33:08Speaker 6: know what I mean.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I found the smoking gun at the archives.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, but no, it's the train ride from hell,
- 33:15Speaker 2: because this is what this is a reality folks, you know.
- 33:20Speaker 2: But I guarantee you if and when Joe goes through
- 33:24Speaker 2: his documents that he scanned and he finds something very interesting,
- 33:30Speaker 2: we're going to talk about it here on the show. Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 2: and we're gonna be very honest about It's not gonna
- 33:36Speaker 2: be like, you know, Joe finds smoking smoking, undocumented, narra uncovered,
- 33:41Speaker 2: whatever the case may be. We're just not a sensationalized
- 33:45Speaker 2: show like that. We're not going to make empty promises
- 33:48Speaker 2: and unfulfilled you know, accolades and accusations, and it's that's
- 33:59Speaker 2: just out our style. We don't serve nothing burgers here
- 34:03Speaker 2: at the Lonecoming Podcast Restaurant, is what I'm trying to say. Right,
- 34:08Speaker 2: no clickbait here except for last week with James Files show. Right,
- 34:16Speaker 2: it was an experiment. Yeah, for sure, the algorithm treated us,
- 34:23Speaker 2: and it treated us just the same as it always does,
- 34:27Speaker 2: so it is what it is.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Yes, we are an acquired taste. We try to make
- 34:34Speaker 3: people laugh, as.
- 34:35Speaker 2: We did draw some new haters, and apparently Chris came back,
- 34:38Speaker 2: so hey, you know, yeah, hey, we'll take it.
- 34:44Speaker 3: What did I do, Sally? I didn't do anything, but yeah,
- 35:00Speaker 3: do you want to get into some pictures?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Real quick though, Okay, Chris doesn't hate us, and look,
- 35:09Speaker 2: we don't hate you. No, you know, it's good to
- 35:12Speaker 2: have a dialogue. And you know, if everybody had the
- 35:15Speaker 2: same opinion, it'd be a pretty fucking boring show, you
- 35:18Speaker 2: know what I mean. The only thing we can do
- 35:20Speaker 2: is come on here, in the best of our ability
- 35:22Speaker 2: and say why we don't think James Files is credible. Look,
- 35:25Speaker 2: it's a fantastic story. He's a good storyteller, all give
- 35:28Speaker 2: him that. But when it comes down to actual proof
- 35:32Speaker 2: or any evidence of anything that he says, there's nothing there.
- 35:36Speaker 2: That's the point. And when people try to prop him
- 35:38Speaker 2: up like he's Jesus Christ stepping down out of heaven
- 35:41Speaker 2: and is the answer to that, to the truth about
- 35:43Speaker 2: what happened in the Kennedy assassination? And I'm sorry, but
- 35:49Speaker 2: I just don't buy the story. Now, if there was
- 35:52Speaker 2: documents or a picture come out next week of you know,
- 35:56Speaker 2: a young James Files standing behind the grassy no fence
- 36:00Speaker 2: for the fireball, well then kick me in the nuts
- 36:04Speaker 2: and call me Sally, and I'll be right on board
- 36:07Speaker 2: with you. I'll be riding, I'll be conducting the James
- 36:11Speaker 2: Files train, you know what I mean. Same thing with
- 36:14Speaker 2: Lee Harvey Oswald. To come out with a picture of
- 36:16Speaker 2: Lee Harvey Oswald up and the sixth floor of the
- 36:18Speaker 2: School of Pository shooting uh manly or Karkano looking looking weapon,
- 36:24Speaker 2: then you might change my mind. But you know, until
- 36:27Speaker 2: these things happen or we see ah, it's not that
- 36:33Speaker 2: we can't disprove what can't be documented. It's that I
- 36:38Speaker 2: can't buy into what can't be documented. And when you're
- 36:44Speaker 2: dealing with people like Files who are in weird places, uh,
- 36:53Speaker 2: you know, and you under you got to understand, Chris,
- 36:55Speaker 2: that people are capable of lies and lying for whatever reason.
- 37:00Speaker 2: There's tons of reasons, whether they're mentally fucking ill, or
- 37:04Speaker 2: they want to be somebody they're not, or they think
- 37:08Speaker 2: that they can parlay something into a big payday or
- 37:13Speaker 2: an early freedom. We just don't know. His motivations, right.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I mean, there was a lot of people trying to
- 37:21Speaker 2: make money off of James Files back and buying his
- 37:24Speaker 2: story and trying to sell it as a book or
- 37:27Speaker 2: a movie or whatever. Whim dank Bar is still doing
- 37:30Speaker 2: it to this day. He's gatekeeping the James Files story
- 37:34Speaker 2: and the books and the articles and all this. And
- 37:42Speaker 2: it's no different than Judy Baker. Again, she's a great storyteller.
- 37:47Speaker 2: She has a fantastical story. You know, it's like a
- 37:51Speaker 2: romance novel come to life, you know, with all the
- 37:55Speaker 2: great bits, you know what I mean. But again, she's
- 37:59Speaker 2: somebody that tells a fantastical story, and you know her,
- 38:05Speaker 2: she actually has more credibility than James Files. And I
- 38:08Speaker 2: hate to say that, but at least Jus Baker was
- 38:11Speaker 2: in New Orleans in nineteen sixty three, and at least
- 38:13Speaker 2: she we can prove that she worked at the Riley
- 38:15Speaker 2: Coffee Company at the same time as Oswald. Other than that,
- 38:20Speaker 2: everything else is up in the air with Judus Baker.
- 38:23Speaker 2: But those two things, at least there's that we don't
- 38:29Speaker 2: even have that with Files. We don't have any proof
- 38:34Speaker 2: whatsoever that he was, you know, for anything. He says
- 38:39Speaker 2: other than how he got caught in nineteen ninety one
- 38:44Speaker 2: and what he said, you know, when he was in
- 38:48Speaker 2: jail during these interviews, and if you look at his
- 38:51Speaker 2: early interview from ninety four and compare it to what
- 38:54Speaker 2: he said in two thousand and three with the Jim
- 38:57Speaker 2: Marris interview and the Whim Dank Bar interview, that's there's
- 39:00Speaker 2: a whole lot added, right, But again, you have nine
- 39:06Speaker 2: years to add a lot of shit. And when you
- 39:11Speaker 2: when you start saying things like David Ally Phillips was
- 39:14Speaker 2: my handler. I mean, come on, Brolee Harvey Oswald showed
- 39:19Speaker 2: up at his hotel and in Mesquite, Texas driving a
- 39:22Speaker 2: truck to say, the week before, the week before the assassination,
- 39:27Speaker 2: and was showing him around town. But he's supposed to
- 39:29Speaker 2: be working at the School of Depository. Now, what's your
- 39:32Speaker 2: answer there? It was a double I mean, it was
- 39:36Speaker 2: one was Lee, one was Harvey. I mean, I don't know,
- 39:41Speaker 2: that's that's always the uh the answer, mm hmm, but uh,
- 39:48Speaker 2: you know, and it's not that. Look, there's a lot
- 39:52Speaker 2: of people that have fantastical stories. There's lots of people
- 39:54Speaker 2: who have claimed to be you know things. I mean,
- 39:58Speaker 2: even Beckham he's got a fantast pastical story. He didn't
- 40:03Speaker 2: say certain things in nineteen sixty seven that he said
- 40:06Speaker 2: in nineteen seventy eight or seventy seven, and then again
- 40:10Speaker 2: when he wrote his book in two thousand and eight.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Is he believable? No, because he has a history as
- 40:19Speaker 2: a con man, right, But he's somebody that came out
- 40:25Speaker 2: very early and made several claims. And we do have
- 40:31Speaker 2: a picture of someone that looks like him where he
- 40:35Speaker 2: claimed to be when Oswald was handing out leafless. Whether
- 40:38Speaker 2: it's him one hundred percent, No, you know, I can't.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I can't totally buy into the Beckham story, although it
- 40:45Speaker 2: is intriguing as much as I want to, I just
- 40:50Speaker 2: can't buy into it all the way. Right, So if
- 41:00Speaker 2: you signed one hundred and fifty NDA's, would I be
- 41:02Speaker 2: aliar Uh No, you wouldn't. You wouldn't say anything. If
- 41:08Speaker 2: you signed one hundred and fifty n DA's and then
- 41:12Speaker 2: you came out and admitted the shooting the president in
- 41:14Speaker 2: the head and admitted things about the CIA, they would
- 41:18Speaker 2: sue your ass, right would They wouldn't have let you
- 41:21Speaker 2: out of jail.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Not to mention, there wouldn't be an NDA on that.
- 41:25Speaker 2: It wouldn't have let anybody interview you in prison. Yeah,
- 41:31Speaker 2: you know, so where's where's just produce one NDA, just
- 41:35Speaker 2: one from the government. Produce one then we can talk.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Mm hmm. All right, Joe, all right, do you want
- 41:45Speaker 3: to put up this from this into the scene.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Let me see if I can.
- 41:54Speaker 2: All right, you're up.
- 41:56Speaker 3: No, no, never mind trying to All right, nice picture
- 42:07Speaker 3: from the front of the National Archives here. And this
- 42:12Speaker 3: is a really nice building. We'll get to it.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I used to drive by it all the time when
- 42:17Speaker 2: I was back in the day delivering oil around Maryland.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I know exactly where it is, and I know exactly
- 42:24Speaker 2: where you were.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Day zero travel. This is me boarding the train and
- 42:31Speaker 3: pretty nice, hoo, I gotta say, not bad.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Nice king size bed, Yeah, pulled out sofa or
- 42:39Speaker 2: you know, a lounging sofa.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, nice TV.
- 42:44Speaker 2: A little kitchen it thing? Is that what that is?
- 42:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like the coffee maker. The There was a
- 42:52Speaker 3: a fridge right here which I put some food I
- 42:55Speaker 3: didn't need in there. And like I said, the trip
- 43:00Speaker 3: down was pretty seamless, no issues. And then went right
- 43:05Speaker 3: down to the restaurant slash bar, so we had a
- 43:11Speaker 3: good time on This is day zero, Day zero scanner check.
- 43:18Speaker 3: And this is at like ten to thirty pm. This
- 43:21Speaker 3: is after we've been at the bar for quite a while.
- 43:26Speaker 3: My computer needed an update. Andrew here is trying to
- 43:30Speaker 3: help everyone with their with their scanners and he's like,
- 43:35Speaker 3: oh my god, this is my scanner on the left.
- 43:39Speaker 3: I think his scanner right there. We were all down
- 43:43Speaker 3: in the hotel lobby. The hotel workers much must have
- 43:48Speaker 3: thought we were nuts. But yeah, that is a day zero.
- 44:00Speaker 3: We got day one Monday.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Now.
- 44:01Speaker 3: This is the on the left hand side, the airport
- 44:05Speaker 3: security type of entrance that I described. Right, you get
- 44:09Speaker 3: wanded down after you go through that thing, and all
- 44:13Speaker 3: your stuff is scanned, but you can bring in drinks
- 44:16Speaker 3: and even allegedly, I'm not saying I did vapes to
- 44:25Speaker 3: put in your locker at the research locker room, which
- 44:28Speaker 3: is the middle picture here, And this is Andrew and
- 44:31Speaker 3: Mark and Paul's brother trying to figure out to put
- 44:34Speaker 3: a quarter in the locker to lock it. And by
- 44:39Speaker 3: day two I was like, man, I looked at all
- 44:41Speaker 3: the people here. I was like, all these people are nerds.
- 44:43Speaker 3: No one's going to go into your locker and Rob
- 44:47Speaker 3: I picked locker at one.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Just you know, of course you did. Yes, it was.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Easy to remember. This is all of us on the
- 44:57Speaker 3: right hand side, wheeling our carts in for the day.
- 45:01Speaker 3: This is still day one.
- 45:03Speaker 2: You know.
- 45:03Speaker 3: You got your scanner. And the interesting thing is you
- 45:05Speaker 3: got to open your scanner. You got to open your
- 45:08Speaker 3: laptop and then bring it up like from the top
- 45:15Speaker 3: of the cart to prove that you don't have anything
- 45:17Speaker 3: malicious in there. You have to do that on the
- 45:21Speaker 3: way out, to make sure you're not stealing any documents,
- 45:25Speaker 3: which I know, I get it, I get it. But
- 45:29Speaker 3: it was funny because you know, it's it was a process.
- 45:35Speaker 3: And this is after we got our research for registration cards,
- 45:40Speaker 3: which also took a few minutes, and they're good for
- 45:43Speaker 3: a year.
- 45:44Speaker 2: By the way, Andrew looks a little suspicious in that
- 45:47Speaker 2: long white button up shirt there, like he could stuff
- 45:50Speaker 2: some documents down the crack of his ass and nobody'd know.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I mean, he probably could, but Andrew of course would
- 45:57Speaker 3: never do that. They had their eye on him, so
- 46:02Speaker 3: and there were cameras everywhere. The National Archives Administration completed
- 46:08Speaker 3: construction of a new facility, the National Archives, a college
- 46:12Speaker 3: Park in nineteen ninety three. Now, what we were talking
- 46:16Speaker 3: about at dinner one night was the timing of this
- 46:19Speaker 3: opening of the Archives is very interesting. It's right before
- 46:24Speaker 3: the ARB kind of went into effect, right in ninety four.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I don't know if right before, but a year before
- 46:32Speaker 3: at least. Now, were they anticipating all these documents coming in?
- 46:39Speaker 3: Probably probably that's what we've said too.
- 46:42Speaker 2: They probably had a shit pile of JFK related stuff
- 46:46Speaker 2: from the Warrant Commission in the HSCA at the original
- 46:48Speaker 2: National Archives. They probably would like to make room to
- 46:52Speaker 2: put other shit in, you know as well.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so we and of course, you know, there's a
- 47:01Speaker 3: lot been written of how some of the intelligence agencies
- 47:07Speaker 3: kind of got past the ARB by submitting their documents
- 47:11Speaker 3: before the ORB actually got into got working, you know,
- 47:16Speaker 3: in ninety four. In formerly known as Archives two, it
- 47:22Speaker 3: is the largest archived building in the world. Together with
- 47:25Speaker 3: the historic National Archives Building, The new facility assists the
- 47:30Speaker 3: National Archives in the Washington area and pursuing its mission acquiring, preserving,
- 47:35Speaker 3: and making available to the public records of enduring value.
- 47:44Speaker 3: And to the right is the Research Card Registration Room
- 47:49Speaker 3: help us protect our records.
- 47:51Speaker 2: The digitizing shit and getting an online for the world
- 47:55Speaker 2: is not a priority for them. Correct.
- 47:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so day two, this is my advanced pull request.
- 48:04Speaker 3: So you pull up, you scan your card, you talk
- 48:08Speaker 3: to an archivist. They then give you this cart with
- 48:13Speaker 3: all your boxes right, and I had eight of them. Here.
- 48:17Speaker 3: I believe the right is the big room we were in,
- 48:22Speaker 3: and this here on the right is the route. The
- 48:26Speaker 3: walkers walked and trolled us the whole.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Time the day.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they didn't have a sense of humor. I tried
- 48:39Speaker 3: joking with them, I tried charming them, and it didn't work.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Actually I did befriend one of them, but I was like,
- 48:51Speaker 3: are you gonna miss us on Wednesday? And she's like yeah,
- 48:55Speaker 3: of course. I'm like yes, sure. Again. I don't think
- 49:01Speaker 3: they were ready for us. I don't think they were
- 49:02Speaker 3: ready for five of us. It was a very interesting dynamic,
- 49:11Speaker 3: if you will.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure it's not. They probably don't get people
- 49:16Speaker 2: even coming in there daily, you know what I mean,
- 49:18Speaker 2: Like the fuck does this? You know? Right?
- 49:23Speaker 3: And so this is I guess nineteen hundred on ish.
- 49:28Speaker 3: So you're dealing with like World War one, World War two, Korea, Vietnam,
- 49:36Speaker 3: et cetera. Right, And you know, I saw a bunch
- 49:39Speaker 3: of a group of people with pow Mia shirts, you know,
- 49:44Speaker 3: missing an action, I guess, And there's an artifice there
- 49:48Speaker 3: telling them, sorry, we couldn't get the records. So I
- 49:51Speaker 3: don't think it's only JFK to be fair to them.
- 49:53Speaker 3: It's just you really need like a laser pointer, and
- 49:57Speaker 3: you need to have like scific specific specific requests to
- 50:04Speaker 3: get what you want to get. If you're like vague
- 50:07Speaker 3: in any way, you're not going to get what you're
- 50:09Speaker 3: looking for. And that's something that's something I would change
- 50:14Speaker 3: if I went back a second time, I would be
- 50:17Speaker 3: much more specific.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Much more prepared. Yes, prepared, Yes, even.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Though we did prepare a good amount, and Andrew you know,
- 50:28Speaker 3: did a lot of the legwork in that, it's still
- 50:32Speaker 3: you know, you live, you learn type of thing, like
- 50:36Speaker 3: you really have to like do your homework like for months.
- 50:45Speaker 3: This is mister Paul Blow at his little desk there
- 50:49Speaker 3: on day one on the left, and we could lean
- 50:54Speaker 3: over and kind of talk to each other as long
- 50:56Speaker 3: as we weren't sharing documents with each other type of thing.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Of course, our scanners were working. The scanners closed right
- 51:04Speaker 3: here on the right hand side, and uh, you know
- 51:08Speaker 3: your boy was jamming out as he was scanning because
- 51:10Speaker 3: it's a tedious process here. You know, it gets a
- 51:14Speaker 3: little boring. So I had a little music to kind
- 51:17Speaker 3: of pump me up.
- 51:19Speaker 2: But where the disco biscuits at a high volume.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Yes, if anyone saw me, I was like jimming out,
- 51:29Speaker 3: like dancing at my chair. I did stand up at
- 51:34Speaker 3: one point because I was getting tired, and they're like, sure,
- 51:37Speaker 3: you need to sit down. Like everything I did was
- 51:39Speaker 3: like a violation, not a violation, but like against the
- 51:42Speaker 3: rules in some some way. But again, the building is
- 51:48Speaker 3: extremely nice. And by the way, bro, the cafeteria fire shocker,
- 52:01Speaker 3: that should be. I mean, that's our tax money at work, right,
- 52:04Speaker 3: it's fire, and it's cheap, Like you can get a
- 52:07Speaker 3: burger and fries for like seven bucks and it's like
- 52:10Speaker 3: we'll fill you up all day.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Nice.
- 52:12Speaker 3: I got a baconding and cheese croissant one day. It
- 52:15Speaker 3: was pretty fire. So this is day two, Tuesday. I
- 52:21Speaker 3: have my nine boxes here. So the funny thing about
- 52:24Speaker 3: Tuesday is because I had to check out of the hotel,
- 52:28Speaker 3: I let them go ahead first and I ubered over.
- 52:32Speaker 3: So instead of being on the main floor.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Which is past these windows here.
- 52:37Speaker 3: We were sent into this room. It was actually kind
- 52:45Speaker 3: of nice because, like the walkers weren't around as much.
- 52:48Speaker 3: But I walked in about an hour after they did,
- 52:52Speaker 3: and I was like, is this a punishment that were
- 52:54Speaker 3: in this room? And they're like, we don't know, but
- 52:58Speaker 3: we were drawing a lot of attention, so who knows?
- 53:04Speaker 3: More boxes? On Tuesday, I had this is the day
- 53:11Speaker 3: got frustrated. I had to go upstairs to the senior archivist,
- 53:15Speaker 3: JFK Archivist. I had to because I had names like
- 53:20Speaker 3: James Erber Martin, for example, but I didn't have record
- 53:26Speaker 3: group numbers or entry numbers or container numbers or folder
- 53:30Speaker 3: numbers or blah blah blah. So the guy was actually
- 53:35Speaker 3: very nice. I will give him very much credit for that.
- 53:37Speaker 3: He sat with me for about an hour. I had
- 53:40Speaker 3: to wait for about an hour, but he sat with
- 53:41Speaker 3: me for about an hour and helped me locate those
- 53:44Speaker 3: files and some other files I was looking for. So
- 53:49Speaker 3: it's not like everyone at the Archives is horrible. I mean,
- 53:52Speaker 3: this guy's been doing it for like ten years and
- 53:55Speaker 3: he knew more about documents than I could probably ever know.
- 54:01Speaker 3: But it's a process and it.
- 54:03Speaker 7: Takes time and blah blah blah.
- 54:06Speaker 2: So look at me, ey Hampton, fate are you.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Well? I just posed on it. I didn't actually ride it.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Andrew was looking at me in the background being like,
- 54:23Speaker 3: You're not going to do that, are you. But on
- 54:30Speaker 3: the left, it's just some of the folders I scanned, and.
- 54:35Speaker 2: You know we have.
- 54:38Speaker 3: You know, Mike mcclaney, who was mentioned by Larry and
- 54:42Speaker 3: David on our show, a name they asked me to
- 54:45Speaker 3: look up, James Rber Martin Orlando Bosh, Carlo Sprgne, Dan Carswell,
- 54:50Speaker 3: who I presented at Lancer with two years ago. Had
- 54:53Speaker 3: Browner who I wasn't familiar with. I didn't get many
- 54:56Speaker 3: pages on him. He was a gun runner, ed butler
- 55:00Speaker 3: who had two long, long folders, Richard Caine three folders,
- 55:08Speaker 3: Vigilio Ciicinetros, who is also of interest to mister Boylan,
- 55:14Speaker 3: Tony Questa, Victor Espinoza, Wanda h Martin, Tony Verona a
- 55:23Speaker 3: couple folders on him. Ferry, which we're going to get
- 55:26Speaker 3: to in a little bit, and it goes down and down.
- 55:28Speaker 3: I just could only fit ins in my screenshot, So
- 55:33Speaker 3: I think a lot was done. I think I could
- 55:37Speaker 3: have done more had I been better prepared or what
- 55:40Speaker 3: I was prepared to expect, just to be frank with you,
- 55:44Speaker 3: but I still think it was very valuable. So a
- 55:51Speaker 3: lot there for us to go. And this is the
- 55:53Speaker 3: end of day two, right, So Mark was leaving Wednesday morning.
- 55:58Speaker 3: We got some secure officer we befriended to take a
- 56:02Speaker 3: picture of us on the left hand side under the
- 56:07Speaker 3: National Archive sign and then shout out Paul Blow who
- 56:11Speaker 3: bought us a nice bottle of wine. At dinner Tuesday night,
- 56:18Speaker 3: we had a horrible college waiter that like didn't even
- 56:24Speaker 3: bring us napkins or forks and knives. But other than
- 56:28Speaker 3: that it was it was good eats. And so then
- 56:34Speaker 3: day three Wednesday, This is just an example in the
- 56:37Speaker 3: left ear rob of what you see when you open
- 56:41Speaker 3: a box right box forty thirteen, box forty fourteen, box
- 56:45Speaker 3: forty fifteen, sixteen, seventeen eighteen, and they're on a lot
- 56:50Speaker 3: of them are unlabeled, so you literally like look at
- 56:54Speaker 3: the amount of pages in here. This would take me
- 56:56Speaker 3: like close to an hour to.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Scan, or.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Probably longer than that. So again you're you're trying to
- 57:09Speaker 3: skim and scan, but also make your time most efficient,
- 57:15Speaker 3: because again, we only had like four or five hours
- 57:19Speaker 3: on Wednesday, so I had nine boxes delivered to me
- 57:23Speaker 3: on Wednesday, and I'm going through them looking for certain names,
- 57:29Speaker 3: and it's just like extremely difficult to do because you
- 57:33Speaker 3: can't read them and scan at the same time, Like
- 57:37Speaker 3: you just can't do it. So but I did take
- 57:43Speaker 3: pictures of every box and record number and group number
- 57:47Speaker 3: and all the bullshit. So if I do go back
- 57:51Speaker 3: and there was some stuff I didn't see, I think
- 57:53Speaker 3: one of these is Frank Bartes, of course from New Orleans,
- 58:00Speaker 3: Cuban exile. But it's just, you know, sometimes you get
- 58:05Speaker 3: to a small folder and you're like, yeah, it's small,
- 58:08Speaker 3: I don't have just be here for an hour and
- 58:10Speaker 3: a half scanning NonStop every ten seconds. And then this
- 58:18Speaker 3: is a picture of me and Andrew leaving. We're laughing
- 58:21Speaker 3: at kind of the ridiculousness of our experience. I do
- 58:25Speaker 3: have a video of this, and I think we're going
- 58:28Speaker 3: to create a little video vlog in the future. I
- 58:33Speaker 3: don't want to create any videos here, nor can I
- 58:36Speaker 3: put them in PowerPoint do I think? But maybe I could?
- 58:39Speaker 3: But and Rob, have you ever seen this picture of
- 58:46Speaker 3: David Ferry.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Yes, I have actually oh with his hair like that?
- 58:52Speaker 3: Yeah, oh I had not, And I googled imaged that
- 58:58Speaker 3: and there's a lot that look like this, but I
- 59:01Speaker 3: didn't find any with this type of hair. There was yeah, like,
- 59:08Speaker 3: there's there's one that looks really similar. And I had
- 59:11Speaker 3: to go back and forth and being like have I
- 59:13Speaker 3: seen this? Have I not seen this? But I searched,
- 59:17Speaker 3: I'm not like hard, maybe for a couple of minutes,
- 59:19Speaker 3: and I did not see this type of picture. But
- 59:22Speaker 3: there was a couple of glossy I think it was
- 59:24Speaker 3: an eight x ten photos of David Ferry that I
- 59:28Speaker 3: scanned as well. So you know, I made a funny comment.
- 59:34Speaker 3: I think it was Tuesday. I was like, researching is
- 59:39Speaker 3: like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're
- 59:41Speaker 3: gonna get. Of course, the Forest Gump quote from the movie,
- 59:52Speaker 3: so yeah, you could take that down for now. That's
- 59:55Speaker 3: my last slide. And then before the Fairy Chronology document,
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: which we'll go.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Through interesting well before we get there, what are.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Your thoughts on the pictures and everything before we get there.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very interesting to see the processes of Nara,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: not just what it looks like on the outside, but
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: what you're dealing with when you actually get there, when
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: you get your boxes, where you got to sit, what's
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: in the boxes? Uh type of thing. And I know
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: you've got other other videos and pictures and of different
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: processes and we'll get to that in future shows and
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: things like that. But yeah, it's very uh, it looked
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: it looked about like i'd expect it to look very sterile,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: very proper, very secure type thing, you know, very strict.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: So were you able to go out any evening to
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: like did you make it into DC to Martin's ub
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: or anything like that?
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: So we were discussing it. We were so shot that.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: We didn't end up doing it, gotcha.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Like these are long, long days. We were up at
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: six thirty am, we were down on the lobby by
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: eight fifteen to try to make it there before nine.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: It was long days.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: We were just we we really wanted to but it
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: didn't end.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Up happening, gotcha. So you ended up leaving Wednesday and
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you being this kafuza the patron saying of missed your
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: train home spring please? How you let that happen?
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Well, you know I left the archives with Andrew. That
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: was the last picture before Ferry on the right side,
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: and the new Carrollton train station was almost twenty five
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: minutes south from where we were, and I thought it
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: was closer. So Andrew, having an almost ten hour drive
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: back to Canada, even though he offered nice to leave
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: him nice of him to drive me there, I was like, yo,
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: I don't want to add another hour onto your at
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: least with traffic right onto your drive. So I said,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: just drop me off at a restaurant or something and
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I'll just uber to the train station. And I had
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: like an hour and a half for almost suppose to
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: two hours at this point, so I just feeling okay
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: about it. The town around the Archives is ghetto as hell,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: and I couldn't even find a restaurant that wasn't like horrible.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: So I found this MIC's pub place with the Korean
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: kind of owner I guess she was, and had a
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: nice cheese steak, had a drink, and I get an uber.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: You wanted a cheese day, yeah, at a Korean restaurant.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: With whiz with the cheese whiz you know that's saying yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: So it was very good. I ordered my Uber, I
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: got one. It didn't. The car didn't move for ten minutes.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: So now I'm like kind of like, okay, what am
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: I gonna do? So I canceled the ride cars at
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: moving excuse, I get it. I request another one. Twenty
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: five minutes go by before someone access my ride. So
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: now we're in trouble because my ETA is like two
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: minutes before my train comes. So I'm like, okay, this
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: is gonna be a problem. And I think still think
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: I can make it. And we get on the Beltway
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: and it's a parking lot.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's rush hour on a weekday on the Beltway
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: around DC.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: It was like two fifty. It wasn't really rush hour.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: But if you're not leaven DC by two pm, you're fucked.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: You should have told me that.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Bruh, I know you.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: I'm just kidding with you.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry. You weren't supposed to stay in extra day, sir.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: I wasn't supposed to do. I had boxes to pull,
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: so I bit the bullet.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Follow my advice and do your shit first and then
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: other people shit second.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: No, I I just had issues finding the shit and
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: locating the boxes. Like I said, It's so I arrive
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: at the train station about five minutes after the train departs,
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: and of course Amtrak is on time for my first
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: train that I missed, so I had to book another train.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Two hundred dollars later, I'm at a restaurant next to
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: the train station, sitting there for two hours, and then
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: because of the thunder storms, it's delayed another hour, and
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: it ended up being like an eight hour commute. I mean,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I could have fallen to Italy by then, but you know,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: it's all a learning process in terms of everything. Situations
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: were out of my control. I guess I should have
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: not ordered the cheese steak, but the boy was hungry,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: and uh, it is what it is. It's I made
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: it home. I'm alive, and it's one for the books,
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: I'd say. But you know, we're going to go through
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: a lot of these documents in the coming weeks and
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: probably take months, actually a month or two, and hopefully
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: we you know it, it's fruitful, you know.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Yeah, hopefully we stumbled across something worthwhile of discussion. You know, ayeah,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: probably not gonna be any smoking guns in there, but
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: you know, if Malcolm, if the Malcolm Blunt Archives is
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: any indicator of interesting documents that nobody's seemed before. You know,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: hopefully in your cachet somewhere there's something in there, you
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: know that's that's you know, on par with that. So
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: one can only hope.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: That's all you could do. And if you don't go
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: there and make the effort, you're really never gonna know
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: because you can, you know, only search the available archives
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: so much.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: But with the Barelli look streak, yeah, you're got the
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: only motherfucker I could think of if you go to
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: the archive, scan two thousand documents and not find one
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: worth a fuck, Right, but we will see, hopefully we'll
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: be pleasantly surprised.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Time will tell the other guys found some good stuff.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I'm not going to elaborate on that some stuff they
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: were looking for. So yeah, I mean, listen, you learn,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: And if I ever went back, I would be so
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: much more like ready to crush than I was because
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: I was just like a deer in the woods in
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: a sense. Right, I had no idea what to expect.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: I had no idea what boxes they were going to
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: send me. Two or three of the boxes were completely
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: like kind of useless. And then that's how you kind
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: of do it, is learn from your mistakes. If you
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: will if I made mistakes and do it better the
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: next time, right.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: But yeah, Well, let's look at one of the documents
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: that you were able to scan and something you've never
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: seen before. And we were trying to figure out if
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: it was online or not. I don't know if you
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: determine that.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: I looked up the riff on Mary Ferrell. It is not.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: And then I removed the last three numbers and it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Is not.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Or four numbers and it is the most And I looked.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: I googled it and looked in other places as well.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: It could be somewhere out there. I'm looking us. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: don't want to overpromise under deliver. But it is the
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: most complete chronology of David Ferry starting from his birth
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: that I've ever seen. And well, I guess I'll let
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: you be the judge of if there's any new stuff
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: to you in there, because you are, of.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Course put it up or you got it.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Uh, you have to put it up, sir.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Okay, old please, all right, everybody see let me blow
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: it the fuck up.
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: Oh whoa, Okay, is that big enough for you.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Joe, that's big enough for me, That's what she said.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: All right, this document the originator is from the FBI. Okay,
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: so this is a document I guess prepared by the
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: FBI and sent to Patricia Orr, who was an investigator
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: for the HSCA March twenty eight, seventy nine. This is
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: like shut down time for the HSCA, right, They're they're
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: winding down, They're shutting her down. They're getting to the
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: end of it, plape of thing. As of December second,
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: nineteen ninety six, this document is opening full. Okay yet
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: apparently I don't know if you can check on the
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: actual NARA website whether or not it's been digitized. I
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: don't know, but it's been around a very very long time,
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: in fact thirty f and years apparently, but again it
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: may not be online. So I wanna scan on down here.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: And this is David William Terry background.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I do Oh, double B.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: What are we doing? Double B? What did you do?

- 1:13:19Speaker 2: notable names on this who got copied on this document? Here?
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: So here we go, Joe. All right, So David William
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Fairy chronology before.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: You start, I want to clear your past uh thoughts
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: on David Ferry.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Really it comes to again. Just woke up with a
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: drunken stupor and new meds. I love you all. I'm
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: dying though. Hopefully you feel better, Bro. I'm sorry you
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: feel like dog shit. Thank you very much for supporting
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: so even though you're on your deathbed, hopefully you get
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: well soon. Brandon home buddy, Thank you sir, and hello
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: you looking at oligo. I don't late than never. We
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: love you, sir.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: Yes, what's up?
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: I guess sir? Go ahead, Joe. All right.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: So he was born in Cleveland, Ohio, March eighteenth, nineteen eighteen.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: He attended grammar school blah blah blah. I attend to
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: high school, also went both in Ohio. Attended Baldwin Wallace College,
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: UH work part time as station June forty to June
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: forty one as attendant for Standard Oil Company, Cleveland, Ohio.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: And then he attended Baldwin College for senior year, receiving
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: a bachelor's in psychology in June nineteen forty one.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: Then he entered Saint Charles Seminary Seminary.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: But that's not the only seminary that entered him that year,
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: but Frank did.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: And that's in nineteen forty two. This is the first
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: time he received instruction and flying at SkyTech Airways Service
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: in Cleveland, Ohio. Then he was a teacher again teacher
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: at Rock River High School.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Ohio.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Left seminary because of emotional instability. This is November twenty seventh,
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: forty four. Returned to Cleveland for psychological help. We're after
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: a good start, lived with parents. Applied for re emission
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: to Saint Charles and for admission to other seminaries, but
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: was refused. Then he became a pilot at Jada Jetta
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Oil and Drilling, Cleveland, Ohio in nineteen forty five. I
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: have the he was under contract to teach at another
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: school in nineteen forty six to nineteen forty nine. In
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: nineteen forty seven, I guess they overlap. He joined the
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Civil Air Patrol in Ohio and became a Civil Air
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: Patrol instructor. During this period, Farry got in trouble for
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: taking cadects to house of prostitution in Sandusky, Ohio.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Hey hold on, all right. So he becomes a Civil
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Air Patrol instructor and decides it would be a good
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: idea to take some high school aged kids, some young
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: boys to a house, to a whorehouse in Sandusky, Ohio,
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: which I'm sure was not very high class joint. If
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Yes, wow.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: Yes, it doesn't say what he taught Sally on this.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: So he's then removed from the Civil Air Patrol and
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: then reinstated after TUOAH one file turned up missing. Interesting
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: fired from job at Benedictine, and then he was residing
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: in Tampa, Florida according to Credit Bureau, married with two children.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: Whoa whoa whoa whoa Ferry had two kids.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: No, this is according to the Credit Bureau. He might
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: be claiming dependence is my guess.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: And married to a woman, which I doubt ever happened.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Either, right because they didn't have.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: That would make it three dependents.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: He worked at Bankers Indemity, Cleveland, Ohio as an engineer
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: in nineteen fifty and also nineteen fifty beginning date and
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: US Army Reserve and died in Cleveland to serve three
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: years Private E two and Army Reserve, left with honorable discharge.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: By the way, Rob, you see that declassified go up
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: a little bit. You see that declassified RF number. I
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: had to go to a separate desk to get this
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: little fortune cookie type of paper sized paper to be
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: authorized to use my scanner. So just another hoop to
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: jump through. Yeah, summer camp training US Army Reserves, Fort
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: Campbell Kentucky, short tour active duty at Fort Pays, Ohio.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: Employed in Ohio as an engineer. Ferry is in Civil
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Air Patrol in New Orleans. In nineteen fifty one, he
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: applied for employment with Eastern Airlines. Eastern Airlines May twenty
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: or twenty third fifty one internal memo consideration given to
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: firing Ferry for falsification of his application form SLocker. He's
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: a good guy, though.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: They should have got rid of him then, but they did.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Retail Credit Bureau, Cleveland, Ohio report indicates Ferry did not
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: show job at Benedictine High School, changed dates at Jada
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: Oil Drilling Company to extend employment later in May fifty one.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: According to Army Reserve records, Ferry residing in East Orange,
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: New Jersey. That's interesting. I didn't know he was.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Ever falsifying information on his application. He's lying and changing
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: dates to extend employment about where he was working. Correct, Okay.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: Another Eastern Airlines internal memo indicates suspicion over Fairies seminary
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: experience during World War II and lack of military Verry employment.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: Recommends a quote close watch end quote on Fairies progress.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Again second chance, they should have fired him and didn't write.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Eastern Airlines internal memo recommends New Orleans keep Ferry over
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: a replacement until a replacement can be found. Notes Ferry
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: has requested transfer to Houston, which, of course is interesting
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: when you think about his trip that weekend.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Well, they did have a pretty sweet ice rink there,
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Maybe not in nineteen fifty, but you know who knows.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Eastern Airlines More internal memos indicates Ferry considered by fellow
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: pilots to be doing a good job, although he is
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: odd quote at times. Eastern decided to keep him on
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: very strike three. Fairry's quote biggest concern end quote seems
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: to be a married woman in Cleveland.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I wonder why that's his biggest concern.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: According to a US Army Now he.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Was boyking her husband, who knows.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, or he was boaking the husband. According to US
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: Army Reserve records for residing at Saint Louis Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: According to records on November fifty one, he's residing on
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Fifty three. Real quick, hold on, yeah, sure, you're looking
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: to Lucas's ninety percent of job applicants lie. Those that
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: don't don't get hired. I would agree that that may
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: be the case now, and because not many places actually check,
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: But back then people checked. So probably not the best
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: of ideas back then, you know, because they were very
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: thorough back then checking employment history, right at least.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: Right And you're not saying like they can go on
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: a database on a computer in nineteen fifty three and
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: check or fifty one.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: The check records. They would check. They would call records,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: they would call, Yeah, they would check.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: Yeah. So Fairies active in civil Air Patrol in New
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Orleans and fifty three letter from blah blah blah. So
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: in March fifty three, honorably discharged from US Army Reserve
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: and two days later March nineteen fifty three, Eastern Airlines
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: in terninal memo indicated Ferry doing considerable promotional work on
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: his own time for Eastern to develop travel and interest
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: to the in the Southwest area. I wonder how they
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: got all this information, how they condensed it.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Very efficient.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, he gives talks to schools and clubs on aviation
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: and Eastern. March fifty three, Ferry received a letter of
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: commendation for his efforts from E. V. Rickenbacker, president and
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: general manager from Eastern Airlines.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: Okay, you glossed over. Formed a group of air Scouts
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: officially sponsored by Eastern Airlines. Boy scouts, if you know
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: what I'm saying. Yeah, sorry, air scouts, young boys. Yeah.
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: So September fifty three he enrolled at graduate school to
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Lane University, studying philosophy, which was what Dispatcher's was. In
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: fifty four, disciplined for illegal This is where it gets funny.
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: Discipline for a legal past writer on flight with Ferry
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: from New Orleans to Houston, George Piazza. Piazza had met
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Fairry in fifty two because on Fairiy's interest in flying
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: in the Civil Air Patrol. Ferry got Piazza's job and
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: was a close friend of Fairies. Go down a little bit.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: Date of degree from university Betty Berry, b r r
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: I Italy, nineteen fifty seven. Did you know do you
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: think he was in Italy?
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: No, that's one of those fake diplomas Phoenix University and
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: Barry Italy.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: Oh Phoenix.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Yes, Come on, man, that's that's some fake ass shit there.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: Okay, So an end of fift or mid fifty seven July,
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: he applied for passport fifty eight. Fairy wearing wig at
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: this time outspoken about not liking females. Fairry was a
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: very influential effect on always in the squadron. I bet
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: he was hair loss explanations, radiation, chemical explosion, cancer experiments.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Maybe just because he was homosexual.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: I guess. In October fifty eight, his application for Civil
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: Air Patrol membership denied. Fifty nine guns purchased from Crescent
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Gun Shop, New Orleans. Teacher of New Orleans Cadet Rifle
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: Club allegedly purchased rifles subsequently found in search of Ferrie's home.
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: Following sixty one arrest, Faerry reported that Customs investigating Ferry
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: regarding possible gun smuggling Fairry in Miami temporarily. After twenty
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: six hours surveillance, agents determined Ferry not involved in doing
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: anything to farious and wrongdoing, but planning outing for his
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: quote scouts and quote air scouts.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Yes, so we have him after a twenty six hour surveillance,
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: which is like one day right of watching him, and
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: determined that he was not involved in any nefarious acts
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: is wrongdoing.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: I guess he reapplied for the Civil Air Patrol in
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: September eleventh, nineteen fifty nine. His prior Civil Air Patrol
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: service given as forty seven to fifty four, so he's
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: been gone for it for five years by then, now
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: accepted by blank or nothing ten six fifty nine. Ferry
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: reinstated effective September eleventh, nineteen fifty nine, and requested reinstatement
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: of aeronautical race with Civil Air Patrol or reinstated about
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: two weeks later December almost end of the year. Twenty
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: ninth fifty nine. Near miss an airplane November twenty fourth,
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: fifty nine, Ferry involved with matteen Mattine Falcon Squadron which.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: Is supposed to be Metay.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: Okay, which supposedly had a charter but did not. What
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: have we seen that before? Ferry kept his own Civil
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Air Patrol interview with Robert Morrell in the two to
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: one file, Ferry claims to have lost his hair in
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: an experimental cancer serm, so on January end of January
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: nineteen sixty he wrote a resent nation from Civil Air Patrol,
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: so that didn't last long, but did not actually see
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: civil air Patrol activities. On April nineteen sixty day given
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: by Ferry in beginning as his efforts to lecture to
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: Roggery and Kiwanis Cute Clubs. Kawanis Clubs June sixty purchased
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: for Tutor Sedan for twenty five hundred. Also, Ferry resigned
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: from the New Orleans Cadets Squadron did not renew membership
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: after nineteen sixty. Summer nineteen sixty, Ferry in trouble on
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: Civil Air Patrol camp out trip, insisting on rooming in
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: barracks with cadets rather than with officers. Ferry asked to leave.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Sometime this month, Ferry went to see an attorney about
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: a business deal he had in Honduras. Last first file,
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: second section thirty six August nineteen sixty. Ferry went out
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: to see one of his Civil Air Patrol boys who
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: had been sent to a youth detention center for running
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: away al Sharemi. Faerry gained entrance to the center by
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: signing in as a doctor. As a result, parents began
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: to really complain about Ferry. Faerry did not renew membership
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: and formed a new Civil Air Patrol organization. Meanwhile, old
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Civil Air Civil Air Patrol records disappeared. So this is
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: where the Skafuzi really starts to happen. FAA officials received
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: information that boys being influenced to join an organization headed
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: by a doctor Ferry called Ami Potent, the purpose of
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: which to train people to do what to do in
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: the event of an all out attack against the United States.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: September sixty all personal records of Civil Air Patrol cadets
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: stolen from storage room near New Orleans Airport. Interest approximate
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: time Ferry began working with Arcotia Smith. This is November
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: sixty for Cuban group active with CRC since nineteen sixty one,
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: active since April sixty one. That doesn't make sense time wise.
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: Ferry called into Office of IRS for a nineteen sixty
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: tax return. An interview with IRS agent, Ferry outspoken in
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: a derogatory manner about usa it's taxes, persecution, and generally
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: hostile attitude. IRS agent thought Ferry actually deranged psycho.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: This is a bullshit.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: He's a good guy man.
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: Income taxes are unconstitutional. Goddamn it.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: Go down a little more to December.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: Why I gotta pay?
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Ferry had Christmas Eve party for boys in a Civil
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Air Patrol unit. They had liquor and they looked at
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: pornographic literature.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: James Jay was dressed up as fucking Santa Claus and
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: asked the boys to come sit on his lap. Tell
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: them what they wanted for Christmas.
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Yeah, they had. James Landry, Al LANDRYE, Donnie Richards, and
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: Leyton Martin's were present. An application for airworthiness this is
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: April sixty one was made for Fairiy's plane at FAA
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: branch in Oklahoma City. Ferry was on vacation later in
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: April from Eastern Airlines. The last half of this month
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: coincides with the Bay of.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Pigs invasion, or coincides.
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: Coen sides, I'm sorry. Some later in April and April,
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: some sort of police station or other legal matter concerning
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: Al Landry and his parents occurred on this date. It's
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: not specific. April sixty one Marcelo Carlos Marcello is kidnapped,
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: then you have late April sixty one, the Bay of
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: Pigs began involvement with Cuban Revolutionary Your front with Arcocha
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: at the Bolter Building reported it says kidnapped.
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: I mean, but I'm pretty sure they like the State
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: Department scooped his ass up and trapped him off in
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: the juggle somewhere, right.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: I mean, I guess that's like you could consider.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: That it's not the guy is framing it as being kidnapped.
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that is interesting. And end of April sixty one
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: he began involvement. We already saw that he reportedly teaching
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Cubans how to fly. Sergio Kocha Smith wrote letter to
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: Captain Rickenbacker requesting on Ferry's behalf a sixty or nine
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: leave with pay to work full time with the CRC.
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: Request denied on August first, sixty one, since policy established
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: of not granting leave with pay for any political reason.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: On July sixty one, Fairy gave speech before New Orleans
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars. He
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: talked about Cuba and Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: His remarks about JFK were offensive enough to cause the
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: commander of the Order to stop Fairy's speech.
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: I that's enough, young man, We've heard enough of you.
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: You're cut off, You're dumb. August sixty one, Falcon Squadron
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: investigation into run away at Landry. Runaway Landry, which is
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: one of the kids involving Faerry. No evidence charter issued
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: blah blah. August first, sixty one, application to leave work
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: for Eastern Airlines for sixty to ninety days denied by Eastern.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: August eighth, sixty one arrested for contributing to the delinquency
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: of a juvenile.
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: For unlawful carnal knowledge. What a great van Heliolum also
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: an acronym for fuck.
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: Later in August, Smith called police on behalf of Fairy
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: and said that the Landry boy could be found and
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: returned home, so he's kind of like the runaway, and
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: that they did not press charges.
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: Oh, he's saying, look, I'll give the boy back if
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: you don't press charges, right, I mean, God damn.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: He's a good guy though.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: Rough.
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to remember this. August twenty, first sixty
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: one arrested in New Orleans for crime against nature on
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: a fifteen year old boy and instant indecent behavior with
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: three others, allegedly used.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: Asaho. What is that. I'm gonna guess it's some kind
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: of aerosol get popper drug poppers? Where was I getting sleepy,
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: Joe Man sleepy? No, I'm not. I'm just trying to
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: figure look at the hypnosis.
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: Oh oh, I think you met me.
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: Here watch watch my pocket watch Joe watch left to.
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: Right, hypnosis and airplane flights to lure boys to commit
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: in decent acts. August twenty second, sixty one search of
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: Ferries home found four nineteen o three Springfield rifles, two
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: twenty two caliber rifles, one English and rifle. I don't
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: know if it's in field, one flair gone, one thirty
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: eight caliber revolver, one sword ammunition, maps of Havana, Cuba,
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: West Indies, two miniature submarines, maps of submarines I'm guessing.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: Also found quantity of medicine and equipment such as syringes,
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: hypodermic needles, tablets, medicine.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: Wow, all right, whenever you see me, you're going to
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: feel a stirring in your loins. Young man.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: Uh Fairry and a Cuban friend go to where Crochet
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: works and threatened.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: To have him hold on you jumped ahead there, Oh
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: oh okay.
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: Eric Cruche gives statement about having sex with Ferry same
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: same file as above. In Crochet's statement about Fairry about
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: sex with Fairy, he stated that Ferry told him that
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: he was having homosexual relations with a married man in Houston.
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: James Langery gave statement to police about Fairy giving liquor
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: and his sex parties for the boys and his clear
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: patroling unit. Very yeah, good guy. Ferry and a Cuban
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: friend go to where Crochet works and threatened to have
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: him beat up by Cubans if he doesn't sign a
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: paper saying he made up the charges against Ferry. Frightened,
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: Crochet claims when he leaves work later that day, Fairy
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: and friends are still outside watching him. Crochet at first
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: says Ferry's friend's name was Andrew. All right, all right,
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: we're in August sixty one. Still pursue into above call
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: from Landry. Police officers visit the boy at work and
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: take a statement. Faery and friend again visited Crochet at
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: work and got him to sign another paper. Fairry told
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: him that he would do anything the boy wanted him
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: to do if he would sign it. Fairy told him
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: that he wanted to meet a man named Arcatia Smith.
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: Police receive a call from Kross stating the details of
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: Ferry's second visit and threats. Police rush to the Balter
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: building to try to catch Ferry, but he isn't there.
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: Immigration Officer Inspector Underwood is informed of a conscious Smith's
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: involvement in the incident. He informed police that Smith is
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: a US citizen. That night, police received information from CAP
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: Civilar patronl that Ferry's CAP squadron was not an official
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: unit of CAP, and that, in fact, Ferry had been
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: quietly removed from CAP responsibilities earlier. Ferry removed from payroll
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: from Eastern Airlines effect of this date, for indefinite period,
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: that's August twenty six to sixty one. On August twenty
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: nine to sixty one, The Times Pickyun in New Orleans
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: reports Ferry threatened Boy not to prefer charges against Ferry.
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: He was forced to sign a statement to that effect.
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: Article in the Times Picayune reporting that Ferry charged with
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: into imidation of a witness, was placed on seven hundred
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: and fifty dollars bond. Andrew Blackman and Leighton Martin's were
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: arrested for vagrancy and suspicion. Also end of August, Layton
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: Martin's eighteen CAP student friend and lover of Ferry, is
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: arrested with Melvin Sealing and Andrew Blackman in a car
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: on charges of vacrancy, loitering, and pending investigation of burglary.
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: They were held for FBI A rest report states that
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: Martin's was second in command to our Cotchia Smith in
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: Cuban kind of revolution movement. Report says Ferry had been
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: driven to Smith's house and Sealing's car shortly before arrest.
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: Says Ferry is wanted for attempted theft of an airplane.
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: The FAA on September sixty one opens investigation on Ferry
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: types case listed as good moral character.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Apparently he was a good guy.
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: Joe, that's I might have been wrong this whole time. Uh.
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: September twenty sixth sixty one, Ferry is arraigned on charge
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: of intimidating a witness. October sixty one, information received Ferry
- 1:40:27Speaker 3: involved with a group of boys made up of George Woodcock,
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: Al Landry, Ladon Noble, Andrew Blackman, Carlos Ferry. Carlos Ferry
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: obtained a passport for Woodcock dated ten three sixty one.
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: I'm sorry, what a name? Yeah, I know, right, git
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: over here, Woodcock, So whip it out. Let's see if
- 1:40:50Speaker 2: it's really made.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: Out of would Ferry had pornographic photos of the boys,
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: which he used as a threat to keep them in line.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: Well, imagine that.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: Nope, you can go down to the next good guy.
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: Good guy. The US Board Patrol this is October sixty
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: one received information that Ferry is attempting to purchase a
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: C forty seven airplane for thirty thousand dollars and reportedly
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: has a cajure of arms in the New Orleans area.
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: Fairies group of boys reportedly made up of all the
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: people I talked about earlier.
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: I wonder Carlow's last name unknown? Is Kiroga or bring A?
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: Maybe? Maybe? I don't know.
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: So then he gets a letter from Ferry to Eastern
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: Airlines applying criminal charges as a result of harassment by
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: communists and fellow travelers for his anti Castro activities. Then
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: he applied for a visa to Venezuela at the Venezuela
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: Consulate in New Orleans, request denied. Sixty one. Ferry and
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: Jack Martin arrive in Louisville, Kentucky, and Rob We are
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: familiar with this right for purpose of Ferry being made
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: a bishop in Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, but the archbishop
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: refused to do it because of sex rumors regarding Ferry.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: Ferry was angered December sixty one, shortly before Christmas, there
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: were two men from the FAA and Washington investigating Ferry's
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: flight status January sixty two. Along with Ferry, Jack Martin,
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: Victor Shiro, Guy Bannista, Thomas Drooling, Dueling, William Bell, George Greener,
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: and Thomas Beckham are also excommunicated. Like I said, this
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: is a detailed analysis, and I can't vouch that all
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: of it's correct, but I found it very interesting.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I said about Beckham, you know, you can
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: say he might be full of shit, but at least
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: we can prove that he was around these guys back then,
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: you know, so you got to give a little more
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: credence to what he's saying, you know, when if there
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: was absolutely no proof and he never appeared in any
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: documents or anything like that prior to the assassination, were
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: hanging out with Ferry and Martin and Banister. He's right
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: there in black and white, folks.
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: I'm going to skip a couple. February sixteenth, sixty two,
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: he's arrested relative to extortion. You can go down again.
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: February seventeenth, sixty two, arrested again for extortion again, good guy,
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: I'm gonna skip some of this, you can go down
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: to the next.
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: And interesting here February eighteenth, where it says that they
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: chose to meet that Cater chose to meet at the
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: Walgreens on Canal Street to meet Ferry because it was
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: a safe place, safe place. Beckham said that he met
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: Oswald after he had handed out the leaflets and had
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: a conversation with him. Was at the Walgreens on Canal Street.
- 1:44:24Speaker 3: So yeah, good, I missed, Thank you, sir. Interesting Ferry
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: to February sixty two. Cater told police that he got
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: a phone call from two boys shortly after arrest on
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: the sixteenth. The boy said that Ferry was a good person.
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: Good guy, God devint and asked.
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: Cater what he had told police about Farry. Cater said
- 1:44:56Speaker 3: one of the boys was Alvin bobof Okay. That was
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: one of the scaffusas with who Cater had once met
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: at an ice skating rink. Well, this is sixty two,
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: so that's interesting. The memo concludes Cater is probably a
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: homosexual himself, and that Faerry thinks he can be intimidated
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: because of this. February Ferry found now not guilty in
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: Jefferson Parish Ferries in a news article later in February,
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: found innocent of charge. March sixty two, Ferry working with
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: Jee Ray Gill as investigator in law clerk. Also in March,
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: he's arraigned on charges of extortion. April address listed as
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: Louisiana Ave employed by g Ray Gill, and it says guild,
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: but presumably Gee Ray Gill, as it says there on
- 1:45:56Speaker 3: this date Southern Bell telephone June sixty two follow the
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: claim for collection from Ferry. This bill was for one
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: hundred and four dollars. Ferry made a card payment date
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: in September.
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: Made a car payment.
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: All right, let's go down.
- 1:46:18Speaker 7: All right, okay, uh, you know what, Let's let's go
- 1:46:31Speaker 7: down a little more. That's not really relevant. So this
- 1:46:39Speaker 7: is interesting. On November seven, sixty two, Garrison replied to
- 1:46:43Speaker 7: request from Eastern Airlines regarding status of charges against Ferry.
- 1:46:48Speaker 7: Garrison replied with brief rundown of charges. So of course
- 1:46:53Speaker 7: remember in the movie JFK. And I'm not saying this.
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: Is true or not. Oh, I know, Dad Ferry, maybe
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: this is what he remembered him from. I don't know,
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: I'm speculating quite possible oh Man.
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: November nine sixty two, Fairy came home with a woman
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: and two little girls, ages eight and twelve. Ferry, the
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: woman and the girls left in his car at a
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: fifty Fairry came home with a young man at nine fifteen,
- 1:47:26Speaker 3: and the young man left in Fairy's car. Ferry returns
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: at eleven twenty November eleventh, sixty two, Ferry left the
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: home to drive a short distance to the drug store
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: and made a call from the phone booth. At eight
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: seventy pm, a young boy driving a car licensed named
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: Bramley arrived at Ferry's house at a thirty. Crochet, who
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: we talked about earlier or mentioned earlier, arrived at Ferry's
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: house with another boy at eight thirty five. Fairry and
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: the two boys left his house in two cars. They
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: went to Crochet's address. At nine thirty five they went
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: to uh North Prior.
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Whose the address is that? Joe thirteen eleven North Prier Prior.
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: You know what? It seemed familiar to me, Jack Martin, Oh,
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: and knocked on it. That's that's interesting, and knocked on
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: the door. Fairy and Bromley. A little later, Fairy and
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: Bromley on an older man are scene.
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: And quickly I think the Bramley it's misspelled here, it's
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: probably more as Brownly. Yeah, one of his boys.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: That that's a really good point. And the older man
- 1:48:44Speaker 3: has to be Jack Martin because he looks weathered as fuck. Right, Yeah,
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: they're seen walking on the above street. They stop at
- 1:48:52Speaker 3: the above address, possibly that of Jack Martin. Okay, there
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: we go, and Ferry and the older man have a
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: heated argument.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: Again the day of November eleven sixty two.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: Okay, that same night, the older man goes in the
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: above house in Ferry and Bromley leave returned to Faerry's house.
- 1:49:11Speaker 3: Bromley apparently spends the night there, of.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: Course he does.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. Brownley is an engineer for US Engineers.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: Unlikely the father of Morris Brownlee l Brownie.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: Another kid, the kid that Fairy is hanging around, is
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: named Morris or something like that Brownley, which is likely
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: this guy's son, right, Hugh, So maybe he was looking
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: for his son and Ferry was had him pinned up somewhere.
- 1:50:01Speaker 3: I'm just seeing if any of this is wrolevant.
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: Well, here's one I'll help you out. I know you're
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: tired of talking let me jump in and tag tag in.
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: Let me tag in, Joe. Yeah, all right. Harry Howard
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: and attorney in the Para Marquette Building, advised that he'd
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: represented carry King, probably not the same guy from Slayer
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: uh in charges of stemming from a sex ring of
- 1:50:26Speaker 2: juveniles in Jefferson Parrish. Howard said, However, the name David
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: Ferry never surfaced in that case. I wonder why, because
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: he intimidated witnesses and blackmailed them with dirty pictures. Yeah,
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: Ferry's house was still under surveillance from five point thirty
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: to eleven thirty by Jack Oliefant. Ferry came home alone
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: at seven fifteen. At eight to fifteen, Ferry and two
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: men about his own age left his house and left
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: in a car issued to Dante Marricini. Now why is
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: this name important?
- 1:51:09Speaker 3: I don't know. Please remind me.
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: Uh, Well, this guy, Dante Maryshini worked at the Riley
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: Coffee Company when Oswald was there, and went on to
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: work at the NASA plant in Michell after that, as
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: did many of the employees of Riley Coffee Company.
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: Okay, okay, that was that was a hard one, But
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: that's a good pick up. I like it.
- 1:51:38Speaker 2: Well, I did a whole show about Dante Maryshini. Apparently
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: you didn't listen to it. They returned at about eleven
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: pm as Frry went back in his house. No further activity,
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: blah bla blah blah blah blah. Let's see. And of
- 1:51:54Speaker 2: course he spoke at a young men's business club, because
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: why wouldn't he got to make some contacts another places, Joe,
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: of course, all right, he's still uh banging this crochet
- 1:52:06Speaker 2: dude apparently, uh Fairies walking his dog walking Ruby on
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: the block.
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: Rue.
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: Now the James Llewellyn. Llewellyn is an airplane pilot that
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: shared an apartment with Dante Mariccini. Again, a lot of
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: these guys were probably, you know, undercover lovers, if you
- 1:52:36Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, right talking about morals. Charges still
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: associating with the young boys. He just can't quit them.
- 1:52:45Speaker 2: Apparently it's hard with them. Remember twenty third sixty two,
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: a young boy arrived at Fairies in the car. Shocker, right,
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: there's still they have Fairies apartment under surveillance for quite
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: a while. Apparently definitely. Two boys returned with a six
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: pack of beer. No more activity until one thirty in
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: the morning when Ferry came out with the boys, who
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: then left and one boy was dropped off by the
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: other a corner of Nashville and Patton. The driver of
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: the car was apparently Llewellen. Interesting rumor has it the
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: boys couldn't walk straight, so that's why they had to
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: get a ride.
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: That's a bad one, that's all.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: The DMV advised that the car carrying the heavy man
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: who visited Ferry belonged to Henry Winkler of Happy Days Fame.
- 1:53:52Speaker 2: Various addresses for that name are in New Orleans City Directory.
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: It's learned through a pretext interview that the identity the
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: second boy is Leyton Martin's. Yes he is Mary Ellen
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: Martin's mother of Layton has an enlisted number on Nashville Avenue.
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: Doctor letter sent to Ferry something about his request for
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: info about the Holy Catholic Apostolist Apostle Church, Item sixty
- 1:54:23Speaker 2: nine because why not. January sixty three, more extortion charges
- 1:54:32Speaker 2: are brought against Ferry and they are no lay prosequed.
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: I'm guessing that means that they chose not to prosecute again.
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: He's threatening boys and they are withdrawing their charges. G
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: Ray Grill is notified also in January sixty three the
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: Eastern Airlines at the last of the charges brought against
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: Mary have been no lay prosequied a weed, I guess,
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: not prosecuted.
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, especially if you have a lawyer like
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: gee Very Gill. Oh yeah, not not your typical low
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: lovel lawyer. You can get a lot of these.
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: Things dropped and you threatened, you know, right, and.
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: You maybe even have some mafia muscle behind you too.
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: Well. One of these is again this Eric Cruschet. He
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: wrote a letter to Eastern and said that all charges
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: against Ferry were false and that he had made up
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: charges against Faery, which I'm guessing he was put up
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: to writing this letter to Eastern Airlines. Then Fairry fiuled
- 1:55:43Speaker 2: a grievance against the Eastern en counters to doing them
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: and Jack Martin then wrote a letter to Eastern Airlines
- 1:55:48Speaker 2: supporting his old palf Dave Fairy and accused accusing Eastern
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: of framing him. He also mentioned fairies work with their
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: church because they are decent, god fearing why to American males?
- 1:56:04Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: A reverend in the above church advised that he learned
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: to Fairy sexual deviations after being asked to consecrate him
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: as a minister, and subsequently had him excommunicated from the church.
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: You're out, buddy. February sixty three, a hearing was held
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: Miami regarding Fairies dismissal from Eastern Airlines. G Ray Gill
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: acted as Fairies attorney. Fairy was discharged by letter from
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: Eastern Airlines. Finally, on March the first. Ferry then filed
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: a second grievance. He couldn't just lead well enough alone,
- 1:56:36Speaker 2: I mean goddamn. A letter from mister Bell of Eastern
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: to a Glenn Harlan, referring to some Fairy data obtained
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: by the Southern Research Company otherwise known as a credit bureau.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: Ferry apparently obtained a fraudulent PhD shocker from a phony
- 1:56:52Speaker 2: quote university in Italy, Joe apparently from university and wherever
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: the fuck Italy is? Uh fake please fucker? Oh look
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: you here. April fourth, nineteen and sixty three A flight
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: plan for Faery with passengers named Diaz, Hydell and Lambert.
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: Oh now now this rat cha is uh it's bad
- 1:57:22Speaker 2: all around. It's bad all around, and we did a
- 1:57:26Speaker 2: hell of a show on this back around the twenty
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: second of last year for our quote unquote conference presentution. Right,
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: uh you making a phone me? No, No, I was
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: just saying, you know, instead of instead of doing it
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: on Lancer and wasting our time and nobody hearing it,
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: we did it here for thousands of people to watch
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: for free, right.
- 1:57:54Speaker 3: That is true, and it was a banger, go back.
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: It was a fantastic episode. Because again, the name Hidel
- 1:58:03Speaker 2: on this flight plan on April fourth, nineteen sixty three
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: is a problem.
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: It's a problem.
- 1:58:11Speaker 2: It's a big, huge, fat problem huge.
- 1:58:18Speaker 3: And we've heard, you know, to add some contact to it,
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: we've heard about you know, there's no like Crochet or
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: or or the other kind of kids that he was
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: hanging around with on there.
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: It's Hidell right. Obviously these are either aliases of people,
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: you know, I mean there's several Diaz's. I mean, that's
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: pretty vague. Hydell is the problem here. Hidell is the problem. Lambert,
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: you know whatever. Some people say it was one of
- 1:58:54Speaker 2: Clay Shaws, Clem Lambert or Clay Lambert one of his
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: other aliases. Who knows. But the high deal name here
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: is a huge, huge problem because apparently the id I
- 1:59:10Speaker 2: mean the name Highdel does not come up anywhere at
- 1:59:14Speaker 2: all in the context of the assassination before February of
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: sixty three. Okay, when when Oswald is in Dallas working
- 1:59:26Speaker 2: at Jagger's child's stoveall right, Joe, and apparently his last
- 1:59:34Speaker 2: day at Jagger's child stoveall was April the fifth, right, right,
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: I believe that's right, And I believe they have the
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: date here wrong.
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: I was about to say, I was getting I was
- 1:59:51Speaker 3: looking at the date, and I was like, they might
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: have a little bit.
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: Off, But I think that the right date was April
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: eighth for the song. Yes, I think you actually look
- 2:00:01Speaker 2: at the flight plan, I think it was April eighth.
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: This is a this is not a right one. Because
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: we were hypothesizing, okay, if David Ferry is finding a
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: flight plan from New Orleans or Hammond wherever, I mean,
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: you know it's close to Galveston or No, it wasn't Galveston.
- 2:00:22Speaker 2: It was one Redbird, it was the other, the other
- 2:00:26Speaker 2: airport there in Dallas.
- 2:00:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Shit, man, I can't remember it offhand, but we
- 2:00:37Speaker 3: have all the details on that episode with documentation.
- 2:00:41Speaker 2: Yes, yes, because we were hypothesizing, Okay, that the name
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: Hidel first surfaces when he orders I believe it was
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: the I think he ordered the rifle first. I could
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: be wrong, Yeah, I believe the rifle and the pistol
- 2:01:03Speaker 2: were both ordered under the moniker A. J. Hidell or
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: Alex Hidell or I'm sorry, Alex Hidel And he was
- 2:01:13Speaker 2: living in Dallas at the time. So how the fuck
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: would Ferry know Oswald alias at this time? If if
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: Oswald's living in Dallas and Fairies in New Orleans, how
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: would he know Hidell's not a common name, And all
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: of the synchronicity in the universe for Lee Harvey Oswall's
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: alias to be a passenger on David Ferries's flight plan
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: two days before the walker shooting is just way more
- 2:01:51Speaker 2: than just a universal coincidence, Like the odds of that
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: being true are astronomical, astronomically impose some I would say,
- 2:02:02Speaker 2: so we were hypothesizing. So if he gets fired from
- 2:02:05Speaker 2: Jaggers Child stoveall on April fifth, which was a Friday,
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: and sixth is a Saturday, seventh is a Sunday, the
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: eighth of a Monday. Walker shooting happens on a Wednesday, Okay,
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: And you have these guys going to or close to Dallas,
- 2:02:27Speaker 2: and then the walker shooting happens right on the tenth leg. Yeah,
- 2:02:31Speaker 2: on the tenth at night, right, So just the timing
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: of everything. So if Oswald's getting fired from Jaggers child
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: stoveall we we hypothesized that possibly, uh, that would give
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: him a swift kick in the buttocks to maybe uh
- 2:02:53Speaker 2: go back to New Orleans to try to find another
- 2:02:56Speaker 2: job or think about moving back to New Orleans or
- 2:02:58Speaker 2: seeing what can happen. Maybe he got in a fight
- 2:03:00Speaker 2: with Marina because he got fired, and he hopped on
- 2:03:05Speaker 2: a bus and went back to New Orleans and then
- 2:03:08Speaker 2: met up with Ferry there and they concocted some kind
- 2:03:11Speaker 2: of a plan and then flew back to Dallas. And
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: you know, after the walker shooting, Barry left him in
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: Dallas because he doesn't officially moved to New Orleans until
- 2:03:25Speaker 2: later on at the end of April. He goes first,
- 2:03:33Speaker 2: and then Marina follows later. But I think it makes
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: good sense that, Okay, Oswald loses a job, it makes
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: sense for him to go back to New Orleans. If
- 2:03:48Speaker 2: he's tired of being in Dallas and nothing's happening in
- 2:03:50Speaker 2: Dallas for him to go back to where he was born,
- 2:03:54Speaker 2: to where he has family and to try to find
- 2:03:57Speaker 2: something else and then hooks back up with Fairy is
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: old buddy Fairy, And it's like, don't use the Oswald name,
- 2:04:04Speaker 2: use a high deel right again, this is before any
- 2:04:09Speaker 2: fair played for Cuba activity in New Orleans or anything.
- 2:04:13Speaker 2: I mean, this is this is pre all of that.
- 2:04:18Speaker 2: So in my eyes, the only way this name Hidell
- 2:04:22Speaker 2: could be on this flight plan is if Fairry had
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: contact with Oswald that weekend and was told to use
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: this alias as a passenger.
- 2:04:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and yes, sir, we presented the FAA flight plan
- 2:04:43Speaker 3: on that episode. I believe it was November twenty first
- 2:04:47Speaker 3: of last year, twenty five. There is a document of it.
- 2:04:54Speaker 2: So yeah, Joe, if you want to look for that
- 2:04:56Speaker 2: in the drop box while I continue, we can show
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: every man. Okay, you can do it. May of sixty
- 2:05:05Speaker 2: three a letter from Jack Martin to Eastern Airlines reiterating
- 2:05:07Speaker 2: the charges against Ferry that Martin had previously made. So
- 2:05:11Speaker 2: Martin goes from supporting David Ferry to being against David Ferry,
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: which this is fairy off. But this is the genesis
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: of their little not liking each other. Very much, which
- 2:05:27Speaker 2: of course leads to the accusations made to the FBI
- 2:05:34Speaker 2: in November after the assassination from you know, Jack Martin,
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: accusing Fairry of being involved and knowing that Oswald was
- 2:05:45Speaker 2: in his cap unit, which is a problem too. How
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: would you know that's true?
- 2:05:54Speaker 3: I thought, out of my other computer owned the email
- 2:05:56Speaker 3: to myself.
- 2:05:57Speaker 2: Jack Martin again wrote to Eastern regarding faerry status in
- 2:06:01Speaker 2: the Apostolistic Church. Apparently some internal shakeup was going on
- 2:06:06Speaker 2: inside the church in Fairy's faction was being ousted. Shocker
- 2:06:12Speaker 2: August sixty three to November worked on the Marcelo case.
- 2:06:15Speaker 2: Trial starts eleven forth sixty three ends conveniently on eleven
- 2:06:19Speaker 2: twenty two sixty three, well on September thirty of sixty three,
- 2:06:23Speaker 2: when Oswald is allegedly in Mexico. The bill was sent
- 2:06:27Speaker 2: on this date to Ferry from a doctor Benjamin Morrison.
- 2:06:31Speaker 2: He addressed the letter to mister d Ferry at the
- 2:06:34Speaker 2: seventeen oh seven Pair of Marquette Building. Now why is
- 2:06:38Speaker 2: this important? Well, this would indicate that David Ferry had
- 2:06:45Speaker 2: an office in the Pair Marquette Building, the same building
- 2:06:50Speaker 2: that g Ray Gill had in office and the same
- 2:06:52Speaker 2: building that Oh, who was the guy that was arrested
- 2:06:57Speaker 2: in the dal Text building. Yeah, same place, same floor,
- 2:07:03Speaker 2: main building that Jim Braden had an office. Interesting. Wow,
- 2:07:12Speaker 2: the Appeals Board daniously upheld Fairies discharge from employment with
- 2:07:16Speaker 2: Eastern Again, it is finalized in the fall of sixty three.
- 2:07:21Speaker 3: Yep. Now we're getting to assassination time.
- 2:07:27Speaker 2: Yep. Ferry makes a trip to Guatemala, allegedly due to
- 2:07:31Speaker 2: Marcello's deportation case. He again goes to Guatemala and then
- 2:07:38Speaker 2: comes back to New Orleans when November one, November twenty second,
- 2:07:46Speaker 2: nineteen and sixty three, Ferry was in federal court with
- 2:07:49Speaker 2: Marcelo in New Orleans, Ferry called a Houston skating rink
- 2:07:53Speaker 2: about its hours of admission, said he wanted to go skating.
- 2:07:57Speaker 2: Verry said he left New Orleans at nine pm for Houston.
- 2:08:01Speaker 2: Ferry in an interview in sixty six that he stayed
- 2:08:03Speaker 2: in Vinton. One of these two nights, Ferry said that
- 2:08:06Speaker 2: he went to Mary and James Johnson's roadhouse or bar,
- 2:08:09Speaker 2: so he spoke with Johnson. And remember Farry was banging
- 2:08:13Speaker 2: a married dude in Houston at this time. Also on
- 2:08:20Speaker 2: November twenty second. Ferry left New Orleans at nine pm
- 2:08:23Speaker 2: or shortly before nine pm. Left with Melvin Coffee and
- 2:08:27Speaker 2: Mason's for Houston Galveston by automobile. Arrived in Houston at
- 2:08:31Speaker 2: four thirty five thirty am, checked into the Alam Motel.
- 2:08:35Speaker 2: That afternoon, went to Winterlandskate Rink, met with Chuck Rowland,
- 2:08:40Speaker 2: then went to bel Air owner not there, and then
- 2:08:43Speaker 2: drove to Galveston. Ferry bow boff and coffee. Checked into
- 2:08:49Speaker 2: the Ala Motel at four thirty am on November twenty third.
- 2:08:53Speaker 2: He was on a motel registration card and it's actually
- 2:08:56Speaker 2: written over a November twenty second date, which is a
- 2:08:59Speaker 2: little suss mm hmm, but okay. Between three thirty and
- 2:09:05Speaker 2: five thirty, Fairy and his two friends with the Houston
- 2:09:08Speaker 2: Stating Rink. Ferry told his man, the manager, he and
- 2:09:12Speaker 2: his friends would be in and out of the rink
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: that weekend, but the manager said he never saw him again.
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: Apparently they were in and out of other things that weekend.
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: If you know what I'm saying, do you find a
- 2:09:25Speaker 2: thing yet?
- 2:09:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:09:27Speaker 2: I have it.
- 2:09:28Speaker 3: I didn't want to let me let me shore you
- 2:09:33Speaker 3: might you might as to put it.
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: Up so I gotta take mine off and put yours
- 2:09:37Speaker 2: up there you go.
- 2:09:42Speaker 3: All right, So this would be the flight plan on
- 2:09:45Speaker 3: four eight sixty three. This is an FAA document, and
- 2:09:53Speaker 3: this is the Hidell Lambert and Diaz passenger manifest if
- 2:10:02Speaker 3: you will, with all of the flight numbers and such
- 2:10:07Speaker 3: right here the bottom right corner.
- 2:10:11Speaker 2: Yep. And what's the date on this?
- 2:10:13Speaker 3: This is April eighth.
- 2:10:15Speaker 2: Yeah there, yeah, they got the date wrong. Yeah, four
- 2:10:19Speaker 2: eight sixty three mm hmm. Scroll down a little bit more, No,
- 2:10:28Speaker 2: the other way sorry, okay, yeah, yeah, so from Hammond.
- 2:10:36Speaker 3: To Garland that was it. That was it?
- 2:10:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, there you have it.
- 2:10:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I have that. That's right there. And by the way,
- 2:10:52Speaker 3: if you haven't watched that episode, you need to go
- 2:10:55Speaker 3: back November twenty first, twenty five. Yeah, it is straight fire.
- 2:11:00Speaker 2: Says a total number of people on board for name
- 2:11:03Speaker 2: of pilot in command D Ferry. Yes, sir, so, I
- 2:11:12Speaker 2: mean it's right there in black and white. Folks. You
- 2:11:14Speaker 2: can't make it up.
- 2:11:15Speaker 3: No, it's not like the FAA is making up fake documents.
- 2:11:20Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:11:21Speaker 3: I don't think the document has ever been disputed.
- 2:11:24Speaker 2: No, so all right, thank you, thank you. Oh you're
- 2:11:30Speaker 2: welcome all right. Back in Hammond again where the plane
- 2:11:34Speaker 2: took off from some months earlier, Very uh woke up
- 2:11:41Speaker 2: his old buddy, Thomas Compton, with a big fat cock
- 2:11:43Speaker 2: in his back in his dorm room at an early hour.
- 2:11:47Speaker 2: Very told Compton that the police were at his home
- 2:11:49Speaker 2: in New Orleans and we're taking his things. Possibly great
- 2:11:53Speaker 2: yell and yeah, go ahead.
- 2:11:59Speaker 3: No, I was about to say. It's important to note
- 2:12:02Speaker 3: that Ferry didn't go back to his apartment on the
- 2:12:05Speaker 3: twenty fourth, which would have been that Sunday. He went
- 2:12:09Speaker 3: to some kid's hotel room.
- 2:12:11Speaker 2: Was it too, It was it their dorm room?
- 2:12:15Speaker 3: Yeah, dorm room. I'm sorry, I said hotel room, dorm room.
- 2:12:20Speaker 2: Because he knew the cops wanted to talk to him, right.
- 2:12:22Speaker 3: Because he was stopping the whole way talking to g
- 2:12:25Speaker 3: Ray Gill. He knew he had the heads up.
- 2:12:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so they definitely checked this out and he ended
- 2:12:32Speaker 2: up talking to the FBI and the DA. Let's see,
- 2:12:41Speaker 2: the caller named Jack likely Martin wanted to give Coleman
- 2:12:45Speaker 2: some information. Alligiend that Ferry had trained Oswald with the
- 2:12:48Speaker 2: use of a telescopic rifle, had hypnotized Oswald, and he
- 2:12:52Speaker 2: also said that Ferry had been in Dallas two weeks
- 2:12:54Speaker 2: prior to the assassination. Donald Mitchell was the roommate's name
- 2:12:58Speaker 2: who first came to the FBI. On the same day,
- 2:13:01Speaker 2: Philip Stein, the roommate who actually took the call, came
- 2:13:04Speaker 2: to the FBI office and gave the same information. So
- 2:13:07Speaker 2: basically they got their story straight before Ferry went in.
- 2:13:11Speaker 2: There there's a bottom lying.
- 2:13:14Speaker 3: Here, yeah, I think so.
- 2:13:19Speaker 2: November twenty fifth, Colman again called the FBIG and told
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: him the Ferry had left for Dallas. On the afternoon
- 2:13:24Speaker 2: of November twenty second. Colman told the FBI to make
- 2:13:28Speaker 2: a Fairy's car and that he had a plane. Also
- 2:13:30Speaker 2: repeated Faarry Oswald information possible cap contact, which originally came,
- 2:13:35Speaker 2: according to Jack Martin, from a guy by the name
- 2:13:38Speaker 2: of w. Hardy Davis, another homosexual shoe salesman in New Orleans,
- 2:13:49Speaker 2: and nolda baby. At four point thirty pm, Fairy and
- 2:13:55Speaker 2: Gil appeared in the office of the New Orleans DA.
- 2:13:57Speaker 2: Ferry was questioned by Assistant DA Klein, an officer to
- 2:14:01Speaker 2: Dock when showing a photo of Oswald. Ferry did not
- 2:14:04Speaker 2: ever seen him before. Farry was then arrested Following the
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: above interview, and late afternoon, Coleman called the FBI and
- 2:14:11Speaker 2: told him Fairy had been picked up and was going
- 2:14:13Speaker 2: to be booked. During his interview with the DA's office,
- 2:14:16Speaker 2: Ferry stated that he believed that Jack Martin was the
- 2:14:18Speaker 2: motherfucker who made the allegations against him out of what
- 2:14:21Speaker 2: Ferry called sheer malice and bullshittery.
- 2:14:27Speaker 3: Well, there was definitely malice at that point, that's for sure.
- 2:14:30Speaker 2: While in jail, Ferry apparently called NBC News and talked
- 2:14:35Speaker 2: to John Corporan in New Orleans and said he wanted
- 2:14:39Speaker 2: to talk. They spoke in jail for half an hour.
- 2:14:42Speaker 2: Fairry told him he had been maliciously framed. Here the
- 2:14:45Speaker 2: secret Service fbond. Garrison's men interviewed Ferry again after Corporan
- 2:14:49Speaker 2: came out. At seven pm. FBI agent which I mean,
- 2:14:54Speaker 2: I think this means secret Service agent rice and not
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: FBI agent, inter viewed Ferry. Ferry related his employment with
- 2:15:02Speaker 2: Eastern Airlines, blah blah blah blah blah, denied he'd been
- 2:15:05Speaker 2: in Dallas for eight to Hey ain't been to Dallas
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: an eight or ten years. What are you talking about,
- 2:15:11Speaker 2: FBI agent Reis Kennedy interviewed Herman Coleman. Colemba said he'd
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: been equated with Ferry during Comb's past work as a
- 2:15:17Speaker 2: reporter soveral years before he had done a story on Ferry.
- 2:15:21Speaker 2: He said that he had heard that Ferry had an
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: Oswald connection that a guy named Jack Martin had refreshed
- 2:15:25Speaker 2: his memory about Ferry. Thank you very much, Jack Martin,
- 2:15:30Speaker 2: Leyton Martin's Alvin bowl Ball. We're arrested again for vagrancy,
- 2:15:36Speaker 2: held for the FBI and the Secret Service. We're at
- 2:15:38Speaker 2: Ferry's house. Ferry wanted in connection with the assassination. Martin's
- 2:15:43Speaker 2: claimed Ferry a research librarian for Hill Right. Sure sure.
- 2:15:52Speaker 2: On November twenty fifth, Jack Martin wrote a Richard Roby
- 2:15:55Speaker 2: of the FAA, partly in reference to Ferry, suggesting Ferry
- 2:15:58Speaker 2: had a connection with Oswald. Fery supposedly was connected with
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: LHO from the CAP, could have trained LHO with a rifle,
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: was dumped because of certain procastro activities, and helped LHO
- 2:16:09Speaker 2: get into Marine Corps, which is interesting and that's according
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: to the FBI. On the night of November twenty fifth,
- 2:16:21Speaker 2: Ferry visited Oswald's land lady missus Jesse James Garner's home,
- 2:16:28Speaker 2: asking for the whereabouts of my goddamn library card. Where's
- 2:16:32Speaker 2: my library card?
- 2:16:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:16:37Speaker 2: D ray Gill stated that when or Lee Harvey Oswell
- 2:16:39Speaker 2: was arrested by DPD, he was carrying a library card
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: with David Ferry's name on it. Said this to persons
- 2:16:46Speaker 2: at Farious residents, which you know Boboff and the other kid.
- 2:16:52Speaker 2: Martin's new talking to the FBI. R E threats to
- 2:16:56Speaker 2: the president. On November twenty fourth, uh Man during an
- 2:17:02Speaker 2: interview with the FBI, Jack Martin rekants his entire story.
- 2:17:06Speaker 2: What the fuck Well? November twenty sixth.
- 2:17:10Speaker 3: Wow, guy banisters Archie very Gil must have gotten too.
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: Or David Ferry. David Ferry is known to intimidate a
- 2:17:17Speaker 2: witness or too, Joe. That is true.
- 2:17:19Speaker 3: That is true.
- 2:17:20Speaker 2: Boy. If you don't recant your motherfucking story, I'm gonna
- 2:17:23Speaker 2: put two shots up your ass. You're never gonna forget.
- 2:17:29Speaker 2: Harry was interviewed by the FBI. He Ernest Wall and
- 2:17:32Speaker 2: Theodore via To were at his home. Ferry discussed his
- 2:17:35Speaker 2: reckless statements about JFK. Look, I may have said some
- 2:17:38Speaker 2: things that too about JFK. I mean, you know, I'm reckless,
- 2:17:42Speaker 2: but I'm not. I'm not a martyr. He denied having
- 2:17:45Speaker 2: to lend his library card to Oswald or anybody else,
- 2:17:47Speaker 2: and showed it to the agency. I found it, I
- 2:17:50Speaker 2: got it. This is mine. He denied ever having known Oswalt,
- 2:17:54Speaker 2: and denied training with a rifle. Unfortunately for a Fairerry
- 2:18:02Speaker 2: a picture would soon materialize, stating otherwise, but let's see.
- 2:18:11Speaker 2: The FBI interviewed one David Maggiar, a seaplane pilot from
- 2:18:16Speaker 2: New Orleans. Maggiar stated that he went to Mexico during
- 2:18:21Speaker 2: these bad dates from September twenty fourth to the thirtieth.
- 2:18:23Speaker 2: They were bad, so did Oswald hop a ride from
- 2:18:31Speaker 2: Maggiar to Texas or maybe to Mexico, who knows, But
- 2:18:37Speaker 2: he denied knowing Oswald. He stated that he did, however,
- 2:18:40Speaker 2: no Ferry, but only as a casual acquaintance. You know,
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: we're not bub buddies. Another he gave the name of
- 2:18:46Speaker 2: George Piazza as his close friend. As a close friend
- 2:18:49Speaker 2: of Fairy, He also stated that Piazza was probably a
- 2:18:52Speaker 2: member of the CAP at the same time that Oswald was.
- 2:18:56Speaker 2: Maggiar also gave details about getting his Mexican visa and Gray,
- 2:19:00Speaker 2: and gave the name of Leon Guidry as having also
- 2:19:04Speaker 2: known Ferry in the cap and having been in charge
- 2:19:07Speaker 2: of cadets. Interviewing agents were William Newborough and Kevin Harrigan
- 2:19:13Speaker 2: BI file records. The FBI checked FAA records in Oklahoma
- 2:19:18Speaker 2: for some reason pertaining to an aircraft registered to David
- 2:19:21Speaker 2: Ferry and Kenner, Louisiana. On May the eighth, nineteen forty seven.
- 2:19:26Speaker 2: Gotta YadA YadA. Witnesses in Houston, Galveston, and Port Artha
- 2:19:30Speaker 2: were interviewed regarding Ferriy's movements during November twenty two to
- 2:19:33Speaker 2: the twenty fifth. FBI agents doing the interviews were Carlos
- 2:19:36Speaker 2: Kirby and Joseph Kilgore. November twenty ninth, nineteen sixty three,
- 2:19:41Speaker 2: at night, the FBI interviewed Jack Martin again. He said
- 2:19:44Speaker 2: he made up the whole Oswald Ferries story and called
- 2:19:48Speaker 2: Coleman with his story. The FBI report noted that with
- 2:19:51Speaker 2: this interview accomplished the the case involving Faery was effectively
- 2:19:56Speaker 2: closed a week after the assassination. Ye, thank you, Jack Martin.
- 2:20:04Speaker 2: So then we got some stuff about Jesse Corr. He
- 2:20:09Speaker 2: observed Oswald hanging out FPCC leaflets.
- 2:20:13Speaker 4: He identified him.
- 2:20:25Speaker 2: Actually a bunch of bullshit. But here's what the literaing
- 2:20:28Speaker 2: part is, folks. We go from May twenty second, nineteen
- 2:20:32Speaker 2: sixty four about items being taken from Ferry's home has
- 2:20:35Speaker 2: been returned to him after they were photographed, and noted
- 2:20:38Speaker 2: that the DA was to be consulted in this matter.
- 2:20:42Speaker 2: And this was of course at the time of the
- 2:20:46Speaker 2: warrant commission, but I don't know if it was done.
- 2:20:48Speaker 2: It behsse but superintendent of the NOPD from Sergeant Fenner Sigeber,
- 2:20:54Speaker 2: that's the greatest name in history. Details the medium with
- 2:20:57Speaker 2: assistant DA and police officers and their arresting question a
- 2:21:00Speaker 2: Ferry also deals with fairies movements during those days, states
- 2:21:03Speaker 2: the Colonel Garrison, kind of Garrison of the Department of
- 2:21:06Speaker 2: Public Safety Texas Rangers was my phone shortly after the
- 2:21:10Speaker 2: arrest of Fairy and given details of his arrest. The
- 2:21:12Speaker 2: memo states that officers have been unable to link Ferry
- 2:21:15Speaker 2: to the assassination, and then it jumps three years till
- 2:21:21Speaker 2: February twenty second, sixty seven, where Ferry is found dead
- 2:21:25Speaker 2: in his house From quote natural causes and not a
- 2:21:30Speaker 2: nail fail, not a nail file through the roof of
- 2:21:34Speaker 2: his mouth to the base of his brain by James Files.
- 2:21:41Speaker 2: By the way, there is an autopsy report on David
- 2:21:46Speaker 2: Ferry and they did look in his mouth and nothing
- 2:21:50Speaker 2: was there. But of course that conspiracy and James Files
- 2:21:58Speaker 2: also allegedly took out mari Lyle Monroe, you know, for
- 2:22:01Speaker 2: the Kennedys.
- 2:22:03Speaker 3: Of course, yeah, because why wouldn't you just kill Kennedy
- 2:22:06Speaker 3: then take out Monroe for the Kennedys.
- 2:22:09Speaker 2: He's like the the the Ed Edwards of serial killers.
- 2:22:12Speaker 2: You know, this guy that supposedly killed all these people.
- 2:22:15Speaker 2: You know, he was a he was the the Golden
- 2:22:18Speaker 2: State killer. He was a Zodiac killer. He was uh,
- 2:22:23Speaker 2: he's the son of Sam he was uh, he helped
- 2:22:26Speaker 2: John Wayne Gacy. Uh you know, just a frame, you know,
- 2:22:30Speaker 2: frame these people to It's it's ridiculous, right yeah. Now,
- 2:22:35Speaker 2: the last thing we have here on this uh very
- 2:22:39Speaker 2: elongated timeline of David Ferry and source advised Benny Casto
- 2:22:44Speaker 2: and John Bacola, former business partners with David Ferry and
- 2:22:48Speaker 2: the United Air taxi business, believe connected with callers Marcelo
- 2:22:51Speaker 2: no ship. William Gatrou and Jacob Nostalsi partners in the
- 2:22:55Speaker 2: United Air taxi business and equainted with Marcelo the FBI
- 2:22:59Speaker 2: files and that Joe.
- 2:23:02Speaker 3: Is it?
- 2:23:03Speaker 2: Is it? Wow?
- 2:23:05Speaker 3: So what do you think of that? Man?
- 2:23:07Speaker 2: Well, it goes from very detailed, very early. I'm a
- 2:23:13Speaker 2: little disappointed with the big three year gap because in
- 2:23:21Speaker 2: that big three year gap, Garrison was doing a lot
- 2:23:24Speaker 2: of investigating about David Ferry. I think I think they
- 2:23:28Speaker 2: started talking to him again in sixty five.
- 2:23:30Speaker 3: Right, there's nothing about the Garrison investigation in there.
- 2:23:34Speaker 2: Yeah, which is disappointment. But again this is this was
- 2:23:39Speaker 2: apparently put together by the FBI and handed over to
- 2:23:45Speaker 2: Patricia Orr JCA, and then Joe stumbled across it at
- 2:23:50Speaker 2: the archives the other day.
- 2:23:53Speaker 3: I did, and you know, I wasn't sure. You know,
- 2:23:57Speaker 3: it's very hard to cross reference five when you come
- 2:24:00Speaker 3: across them in those boxes. Is this online?
- 2:24:04Speaker 2: Is this not?
- 2:24:04Speaker 3: If you spend like ten twenty minutes searching for it online,
- 2:24:09Speaker 3: you're gonna lose a lot of time, you know.
- 2:24:12Speaker 2: So, I just like Rob is gonna like this. I
- 2:24:16Speaker 2: was thinking of you for David Fairy.
- 2:24:19Speaker 3: I was thinking to you, Bud, But I thought it'd
- 2:24:22Speaker 3: be interesting and a nice switch up, if you will,
- 2:24:28Speaker 3: from maybe my archives.
- 2:24:33Speaker 2: Rumor has a day fairy also a switch hitter?
- 2:24:39Speaker 3: Is that a comment there?
- 2:24:41Speaker 2: No, No, it's just funny, okay. Sometimes the pitcher, sometimes
- 2:24:45Speaker 2: the catcher. You know what I'm saying.
- 2:24:47Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, that's that's you win common of the night.
- 2:24:50Speaker 3: I haven't seen Scott in here.
- 2:24:52Speaker 4: So.
- 2:24:56Speaker 2: Thank you. I'm here on, thank you, thank you, thank you. Well,
- 2:25:06Speaker 2: there's a lot some of these comments before we go. Joe, Yeah,
- 2:25:14Speaker 2: Hydell shows up on eleven, twenty three sixty three, bark
- 2:25:18Speaker 2: Camp has that ship nailed down?
- 2:25:21Speaker 3: Uh?
- 2:25:22Speaker 2: Yes, the the ID when they start talking about the
- 2:25:26Speaker 2: ID when they find the client's order form. I get
- 2:25:29Speaker 2: all that, But he was using that alias in communication
- 2:25:35Speaker 2: with Vincent T. Lee of the fair Play for Cuba Committee.
- 2:25:39Speaker 2: He wasn't claiming to be the person. I don't think,
- 2:25:43Speaker 2: and I think we have his his fair Play for
- 2:25:49Speaker 2: Cuba Committee membership card where the name Hydel is listed
- 2:25:56Speaker 2: as president or secretary or whatever it was.
- 2:25:59Speaker 3: Right, you're talking about the interrogation.
- 2:26:02Speaker 2: Claw, right, Yeah. Now, I understand that all of these
- 2:26:05Speaker 2: documents and all this paperwork didn't come out until the eleven,
- 2:26:10Speaker 2: twenty three, sixty three. But I think you know, unless
- 2:26:14Speaker 2: you believe in the gigantic, great grand conspiracy of the
- 2:26:18Speaker 2: things that you know on the twenty third that the
- 2:26:21Speaker 2: FBI forged all these documents and all these order slips
- 2:26:25Speaker 2: and all of this mail stuff and all of this,
- 2:26:30Speaker 2: you know in a couple hours that you can backdate
- 2:26:37Speaker 2: the acquisition of this alias to when he first made
- 2:26:42Speaker 2: his selective service card, his fake Alec Heidel's service card,
- 2:26:48Speaker 2: when he was working at Jagger's child stoveall alongside a
- 2:26:52Speaker 2: guy that was on the FBI's top ten most wanted
- 2:26:55Speaker 2: list for doing what Joe fortunate and creating an alias
- 2:27:03Speaker 2: for himself.
- 2:27:04Speaker 3: Right, I'm sorry, I didn't hear the whole question. I
- 2:27:07Speaker 3: was looking at comments.
- 2:27:10Speaker 2: So, I mean, it makes sense that Ozma would have
- 2:27:12Speaker 2: created this alias when he was working at Jaggons child
- 2:27:16Speaker 2: stoveall he created his fake secret service card or selective
- 2:27:19Speaker 2: service card, and again you have the name on David
- 2:27:26Speaker 2: Faerry's thing. And you know, sure, we can say it
- 2:27:28Speaker 2: was a big CIA plot and they're behind all this stuff,
- 2:27:32Speaker 2: but it's just it's not pointing in that direction from me.
- 2:27:40Speaker 2: But I don't know, you know, it's certainly worthy of discussion,
- 2:27:44Speaker 2: for sure.
- 2:27:46Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. I mean he had a fascinating life.
- 2:27:51Speaker 3: You can't deny that for sure.
- 2:28:02Speaker 2: Well, Claude, you need to get down in the dirty
- 2:28:05Speaker 2: streets as they call them, down there in Galveston with
- 2:28:08Speaker 2: the dregs of society and see if you can find
- 2:28:11Speaker 2: some ninety year old gay dude you might have known
- 2:28:15Speaker 2: David Faerry, maybe partied with David Faerry back in the day.
- 2:28:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:28:22Speaker 2: Probably many of them left, but you never know, you did,
- 2:28:26Speaker 2: Like I'm young, so if they were back in sixty three,
- 2:28:29Speaker 2: they might still be alive. Joe, that is true.
- 2:28:32Speaker 3: That that is a very fair point.
- 2:28:35Speaker 2: That is a very fair point.
- 2:28:37Speaker 3: It's not out of the realm of possibility, as they say.
- 2:28:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Joe, excellent job on your documenting your trip to
- 2:28:45Speaker 2: the archives. For sure, thank you for sharing all that with.
- 2:28:48Speaker 3: Us, No problem, and there will be more to come, hopefully.
- 2:28:55Speaker 2: David Fairry would say, But yeah, it was.
- 2:29:06Speaker 3: It was interesting, it was exhaustive, it was fun, it
- 2:29:12Speaker 3: was frustrating, it was eye opening, it was a learning experience.
- 2:29:19Speaker 3: A lot of adjectives to describe it.
- 2:29:21Speaker 2: Do you feel like David Fairy had worn you out
- 2:29:23Speaker 2: for a couple of days after being there.
- 2:29:26Speaker 3: Yes, I feel like David Fairry definitely warm me up.
- 2:29:30Speaker 3: I think that's a great analogy because I was. I
- 2:29:33Speaker 3: came home and I slept like longer than I've slept ever.
- 2:29:39Speaker 3: But it was good times. Thank you again to Andrew, Mark,
- 2:29:49Speaker 3: Paul and John for their efforts and flying and driving
- 2:29:54Speaker 3: from different countries to come. And this is venture and uh,
- 2:30:01Speaker 3: you never know. Maybe there'll be another one at some point,
- 2:30:04Speaker 3: but for now I'm archived out, man, I am archived out.
- 2:30:12Speaker 3: So let me see if I could grab the damn dough.
- 2:30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, grab the damn dog, do you know? Gets your
- 2:30:19Speaker 2: ass in here? Boy? And to shake the umbrella baby. Folks,
- 2:30:27Speaker 2: Thank you for hanging out with us this evening. Thank
- 2:30:29Speaker 2: you for listening about jose Crypt of the Archives and
- 2:30:33Speaker 2: the interesting Fairy document that he found. It doesn't really
- 2:30:36Speaker 2: paint Dave David Fairy in a very good light. Not
- 2:30:40Speaker 2: a good guy. Bred live. Wow what you know? You live?
- 2:30:47Speaker 2: And you learn? Right there she is ruby faces smiling.
- 2:30:58Speaker 3: This strange case.
- 2:31:00Speaker 2: Good night, all right, folks, be looking out for a
- 2:31:05Speaker 2: book review, are coming, be looking out for another random
- 2:31:09Speaker 2: research and lingers with a robe to be coming and
- 2:31:11Speaker 2: look out for us coming hard. Next Wednesday, Report two
- 2:31:17Speaker 2: with Joe's trip to the Archives and fill in We'll
