- 1:09Speaker 5: in the mornings, maybe you work night shifts or whatever,
- 1:11Speaker 5: you can still tap in and feel apart. I think
- 1:14Speaker 5: that's so cool.

- 1:16Speaker 2: See by the way, by the way, speaking up, in
- 1:19Speaker 2: about forty five minutes, about an hour from now, we
- 1:21Speaker 2: will get into what happened this weekend at Peyton's big reception,
- 1:25Speaker 2: the wedding event.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We're going to get into.
- 1:26Speaker 2: All that stuff about half hour, forty five minutes from now,
- 1:29Speaker 2: because I enjoy getting into moments when Kyle loses it.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I believe you've never seen I don't think you've ever seen.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I've seen Kyle pop off probably one time. I think
- 1:40Speaker 5: I've seen it one time, but I don't think it
- 1:42Speaker 5: was ever to the level that you guys have experienced.
- 1:46Speaker 5: You guys have told me about that, but I have
- 1:47Speaker 5: seen Kyle not very happy.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It is very true. It was very true. I can't
- 1:53Speaker 1: remember exactly know exactly.
- 1:55Speaker 5: What it was.
- 1:56Speaker 3: I don't need to bring it up again.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I don't need to bring it up.
- 1:58Speaker 3: They start another argument.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Okay, well, whatever you saw, it was a level five, Okay,
- 2:05Speaker 2: on a one to ten.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I will say I reached it was about a level
- 2:10Speaker 3: six or seven.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh that's happening. Yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I did lose it though, because so my kids, it's
- 2:15Speaker 3: summer break. It were like two weeks in and I
- 2:18Speaker 3: said to myself, I'm gonna give them.
- 2:19Speaker 1: A week or two to just like totally do nothing right.
- 2:23Speaker 3: We're not gonna I'm not gonna force them because I
- 2:25Speaker 3: gotta like to do like reading challenges in the summer
- 2:27Speaker 3: just to keep their brain sort of active. But I
- 2:28Speaker 3: also like, I think it's summertime. They need some time
- 2:30Speaker 3: to sort of like unwind, right. And then I asked
- 2:34Speaker 3: them to pick up their things in the living room
- 2:37Speaker 3: because it looked like a tornado had gone like through there.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, I just need you guys to
- 2:42Speaker 3: pick up, you know, just your stuff, Like you've got
- 2:44Speaker 3: shoes over there, you've got toys out, you've got all
- 2:46Speaker 3: the things.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Just pick up your stuff. And they're like what.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I was like, just help clean up?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Why are we cleaning up? And I was like, just
- 2:54Speaker 1: do it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: They start picking up their toys and they have like
- 2:57Speaker 3: such a ba. A BA in our house is a
- 3:00Speaker 3: bad attitude. If you have a BA, you do not
- 3:02Speaker 3: get rewards, you do not get to do fun. Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I was like, I'm kind of sensing a little bit
- 3:07Speaker 3: of a ba here, and they're like, yeah, it's like
- 3:11Speaker 3: what's the summertime? And I was like, I'm asking you
- 3:14Speaker 3: to clean up your mess right now. And then my
- 3:19Speaker 3: eleven year old daughter decides to picture this. They're cleaning
- 3:24Speaker 3: up with a very bad attitude. I'm in the kitchen
- 3:26Speaker 3: making dinner, and she goes, well, why aren't you cleaning?
- 3:29Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, if if.
- 3:33Speaker 3: It were a cartoon, you would see steam literally coming
- 3:36Speaker 3: out of my head, my head exploding. I was like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: are you kidding me? I'm sitting you're making your dinner.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I cleaned the entire house two days ago, and now
- 3:44Speaker 3: your mess is the one that's making it look like a.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Total trash old. I think you like, like, was it
- 3:55Speaker 1: worse than that?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Like you went all like you were like you're smiling,
- 3:57Speaker 2: but you were you were doing that thing where you
- 3:58Speaker 2: adult both of.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Their faces like completely like went blank. That they sort
- 4:03Speaker 3: of hunched over, and then they just like picked up
- 4:05Speaker 3: their things and then both of them went back to
- 4:07Speaker 3: their room and shut the doors and it was just
- 4:09Speaker 3: quiet for a while, and I was like, yeah, be
- 4:12Speaker 3: quiet for a while.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Could get the phone to get her version of it? Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 1: we actually could.
- 4:19Speaker 3: But it was very I will tell you it was
- 4:21Speaker 3: so sweet because I think afterwards she she is such
- 4:26Speaker 3: like she has such a big heart. Afterwards, Scott and
- 4:29Speaker 3: I were sitting out when they were little closes and
- 4:32Speaker 3: we see this paper airplane come out into the kitchen
- 4:34Speaker 3: and it has a sticky note on it and it
- 4:36Speaker 3: says please open and read inside and inside she wrote
- 4:41Speaker 3: me the sweetest note.
- 4:42Speaker 1: She goes, Mom, I'm sorry I snapped at you.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Man.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You guys are about to have some show down.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I am like I have seen hints of like the
- 4:53Speaker 3: quote unquote teenage years because we can.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Try to call her phone first, so she does have
- 4:58Speaker 5: all the personality, so you know, and she's, oh, she
- 5:01Speaker 5: is quick with it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And we're going to battle. Yeah I can't wait. I
- 5:05Speaker 1: just know it. But but the positive thing is like
- 5:06Speaker 1: the thing that.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Gives me a little bit of peace about it is
- 5:09Speaker 3: like we've had many battles, but we are we're really
- 5:12Speaker 3: good at talking them through and like coming out the
- 5:14Speaker 3: other end more positively with like love, you know, with love.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I Hey, Addie, you're on the radio with us. Is
- 5:27Speaker 1: that okay?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, your mom was telling us the story and
- 5:31Speaker 2: we wanted to hear your version. Okay, it was the
- 5:35Speaker 2: other day when she when she got mad at you,
- 5:37Speaker 2: and you snapped what happened?
- 5:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, what tell us?
- 5:46Speaker 1: How did you feel? Did it scare? You? Just walk
- 5:49Speaker 1: us through what happened and how do you feel?
- 5:52Speaker 4: It was kind of like I was like, why I
- 5:57Speaker 4: say that, and and I was like, oh uh oh.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And then when your mom got mad, did you get scared? Yes, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I've seen your mom mad before. I get scared. I
- 6:10Speaker 2: get scared.
- 6:11Speaker 4: We went in to go get ready for bed, and
- 6:14Speaker 4: she told us about oh that we had to do chores,
- 6:19Speaker 4: like daily chores now, and we were like complaining about
- 6:24Speaker 4: it and yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yes, because I was like, okay, that's it. The cake
- 6:29Speaker 3: walk is over, is done. I said, you guys are
- 6:33Speaker 3: gonna have daily chores, and before you do anything fun,
- 6:37Speaker 3: you must complete all the chores in.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Your choreless No, honestly, I think that's so real though,
- 6:41Speaker 5: and you're not gonna love to hear this, but I
- 6:43Speaker 5: was very much the same way. My mom date everything
- 6:46Speaker 5: for us. We didn't pick up, we didn't do our laundry.
- 6:49Speaker 5: We didn't cook, we didn't clean, we didn't do anything
- 6:51Speaker 5: but go to like practice and be kids. And now
- 6:54Speaker 5: as an adult with a husband, I seriously lack at
- 6:59Speaker 5: skills around the house truly, like I'm a little messy.
- 7:03Speaker 5: I also will let the laundry pile up.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And I wish, I wish.
- 7:06Speaker 5: That my mom would have been like, your.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Room, So what are your chores, addie?
- 7:11Speaker 2: What are the chores that are you doing them?
- 7:14Speaker 4: So today we have to clean the toilets and wipe
- 7:18Speaker 4: down the counters.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Smoke, Wow, your prison work together? Addie? Do you have
- 7:36Speaker 1: to clean? Like? Do you have your toilet? You have
- 7:38Speaker 1: to clean everybody's.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Toilet, all of them, all the toilets.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Sorry for her.
- 7:43Speaker 2: The cleaning lady was just here.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Wait, Kyle, do you make like? Do you guys have
- 7:53Speaker 5: to clean up before the cleaning lady comes?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Oh?
- 7:55Speaker 5: My mom too. He's like, I don't get it.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Why do we have to clean up?
- 7:59Speaker 5: And I said, because her job isn't to pick up
- 8:02Speaker 5: after us, Her job is too deep clean.
- 8:05Speaker 3: She's being nice enough to come and make sure that
- 8:07Speaker 3: our floors and the bathrooms are cleaned.
- 8:09Speaker 1: She doesn't have to pick up your track.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Hey, Addie, when you're done there, do you think maybe
- 8:14Speaker 2: you can come to my house.
- 8:20Speaker 1: The best chores? All right, Well, have a great day, Addie.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Thanks you too, Love you, love you.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That's hilarious. Good job.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I felt for her because you know, we've seen if
- 8:37Speaker 2: Kyle yelled at us the way she's yelled at us before,
- 8:39Speaker 2: and then told us to clean the toilet, we go
- 8:40Speaker 2: clean the toilet.
