- 1:46Speaker 2: do we start, boys, Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas,
- 1:49Speaker 2: Merry Christmas. Indeed, and we were talking about Jews lining
- 1:53Speaker 2: the same on that one.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he said it with some home.
- 1:55Speaker 2: He said it like he was telling more than just
- 1:58Speaker 2: a more than.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Just some people walk up to the line. Some people
- 2:00Speaker 3: will go over the line. Yeah, I'm an over the
- 2:02Speaker 3: line guy.
- 2:03Speaker 1: That was more so saying happy hollidays, like for past Christmas,
- 2:05Speaker 1: New Year's is coming up. Let's combine them together. You
- 2:08Speaker 1: were speaking of separation. I mean it essentially is like
- 2:11Speaker 1: we're getting into the new year.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Could I present an alternate theory. I don't think we're
- 2:16Speaker 3: gonna separate. I think we're together. I think we're together
- 2:20Speaker 3: through the duration.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I agree twenty twenty six, we're all together. But as
- 2:25Speaker 2: far as this record goes, the fact that you're even
- 2:28Speaker 2: saying we're gonna stay together is the first domino piece
- 2:31Speaker 2: to fall for us finally to separate. Yeah, one way
- 2:34Speaker 2: or the other.
- 2:35Speaker 1: But we could be together on these games, do you
- 2:38Speaker 1: think so?
- 2:38Speaker 3: I mean, we got six picks left right, four plus
- 2:42Speaker 3: two plus one is seven. Yeah, so how much separation
- 2:47Speaker 3: could happen?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Seven games?
- 2:49Speaker 3: How much separation? I was talking to you about some
- 2:51Speaker 3: pretty wild prop bets. If we allow prop bets in
- 2:52Speaker 3: this thing, then it's total wildcard round.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 3: But if we don't, because it would be an ethical
- 2:57Speaker 3: I don't really think we're gonna separate all that much.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And to be honest, that's probably good news for me
- 3:01Speaker 3: because I'm thirty nine and forty three and you'll take that. Yeah,
- 3:04Speaker 3: kids have screwed up a lot for me this year.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I'm below five hundred.
- 3:07Speaker 1: How's the ramn Noodle express doing?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Romanel expresses above five hundred, Romnel expresses seventy seven and seventy,
- 3:12Speaker 3: which is not like crush it quit your second job
- 3:15Speaker 3: style winning percentage, but it's it's a winning percentage.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It's kind of like you had a wash of a season,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but you did game, you did win some money.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we literally started.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yes, we're able to get a few power Ball tickets.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah, some scratch offs. I would never send me my
- 3:32Speaker 3: cigarettes back home because Memo never smoked, but I could
- 3:34Speaker 3: send the fam some things back home with our winnings
- 3:37Speaker 3: this year. Depending on which your size or your unit is,
- 3:40Speaker 3: and you know, to each his own when it comes
- 3:43Speaker 3: to how big your unit is.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm I'm very I'm curious, which I'm sure the
- 3:48Speaker 1: entire audience is. What is somebody? What is Josh paid?
- 3:53Speaker 1: What's a guy like Josh paid get for Christmas? I
- 3:56Speaker 1: got we guests first. Yeah, that'd probably when he walked
- 3:59Speaker 1: in with that. When he walked through with that c zip,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was thinking, is that it was that a Christmas gift?
- 4:04Speaker 3: Wasn't I think it was?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so after all the c zip talk from Oklahoma,
- 4:08Speaker 2: you could accuse it for Christmas and you got accuse
- 4:10Speaker 2: it for Christmas.
- 4:12Speaker 1: What's you guys playing on? Let's go over there?
- 4:14Speaker 3: What color. Was it though?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Coccus it that I dealt with.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I got a black cu zip. That's fair logo on
- 4:21Speaker 3: it is not crimson, was not cream. It was right,
- 4:23Speaker 3: it was black.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I got feelings about it. You strike me as a
- 4:26Speaker 2: guy that your wife looks at you and she said, hey,
- 4:29Speaker 2: what do you want for Christmas? And you tell her
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't want anything. I want nothing for Christmas?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Is that correct and equivocally yes? And I'm not lying.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It's not the reverse psychology thing. I want nothing for Christmas.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Christmas morning. Congrats babe, you got nothing but a smile.
- 4:43Speaker 3: And I'm really in my feelings about it. That's okay, Okay,
- 4:47Speaker 3: that's okay. No, man is a failure? Who has friends?
- 4:49Speaker 3: I have friends. I have everything I need for Christmas?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Saw hoody is that Christmas gift? Yeah? Those pants? Also?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Those pants look new? No, no, no, no, I've been rocking these.
- 5:03Speaker 1: These are these are the green drips.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Maybe just they've been through the wash, because they don't
- 5:06Speaker 2: look like they've been worn hardly at all. Those are
- 5:09Speaker 2: the green ones. Every time I see you, where am
- 5:10Speaker 2: I going?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Hey? What'd you like green? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah?
- 5:17Speaker 3: Those are special pants? Are those are October pants. Those
- 5:20Speaker 3: are those are Christmas pants?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Those are comfy. You look cozy. Thank you extreme feel cozy?
- 5:25Speaker 2: Can I ask you this? Pivoting to some more football stuff.
- 5:27Speaker 2: What's your opinion of opinion of Colin Whodingham.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I think you ended up that was him right there?
- 5:32Speaker 1: A second?
- 5:32Speaker 3: What does he say?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Oh no, it's a John o'rahoff.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Uh. He helped me win three Fantasy championships in a row. Statistically,
- 5:42Speaker 2: our chance of winning three Fantasy championships was zero point
- 5:45Speaker 2: zero five eight percent. It was one in seventeen twenty
- 5:49Speaker 2: eight chants. So that's history. We can talk about that
- 5:52Speaker 2: in the NFL show. What's your opinion of Collewoodinghem?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Do you have an opinion that's different than everybody else's.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Everybody else is pretty high on it, right, Yeah, Yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 3: I'm pretty eye on it. I think you're better than
- 6:01Speaker 3: you were two months ago, so you upgraded. Doesn't it
- 6:03Speaker 3: feel like? Doesn't it feel like the stuff that if
- 6:07Speaker 3: you and I would have talked about Michigan in the
- 6:09Speaker 3: second week of October, the stuff that you would have
- 6:12Speaker 3: begrudgingly said to me off camera about the overall state
- 6:16Speaker 3: of the program. Everyone's just freely saying in the open
- 6:19Speaker 3: now that you hired Cale Whittingham. Good, we're injecting solid
- 6:22Speaker 3: football culture back into the building. Good. We were reliable,
- 6:26Speaker 3: we're stable. Good. No one's whispering, No one's hesitant to
- 6:29Speaker 3: walk around corners in the building. That's Kyle Whittingham. Kyle Whittingham,
- 6:33Speaker 3: just a football guy. Occasional motorcycle ride during the lunch break,
- 6:37Speaker 3: hit a stake at four pm at his desk. Back
- 6:39Speaker 3: to football. Yeah, solidom guy.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Loves to get in the gym a little bit. But
- 6:43Speaker 1: you're absolutely right.
- 6:44Speaker 2: All the whisperings people behind closed doors, the loser's mentality,
- 6:48Speaker 2: talking gets small groups kind of talk a little bit shit.
- 6:50Speaker 2: All that is now out in the open for everybody
- 6:53Speaker 2: to see. And yeah, I think no disrespect. But two
- 6:58Speaker 2: weeks ago, I think Michigan got better from a football
- 7:01Speaker 2: from a football standpoint, coaching standpoint, and now knowing where
- 7:03Speaker 2: we're headed. Because Kyle Whittingham wasn't like the sexiest name
- 7:06Speaker 2: in the world. I didn't know a whole lot about
- 7:08Speaker 2: him or about Utah. Since he's been hired, I've just
- 7:11Speaker 2: been on the message boards. It's just a search bar
- 7:14Speaker 2: on Twitter Michigan Footballkyle Whittingham and just I'm only seeing
- 7:18Speaker 2: Utah and Michigan fans come together over It's very odd.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm seeing USC fans be like, hey, that's a hell
- 7:23Speaker 2: of a coach and our Dame fan like people all
- 7:25Speaker 2: over the place like this is a great ball coach
- 7:26Speaker 2: and mission is a whole lot better.
- 7:28Speaker 1: So it fires me up. I'm cautiously optimistic.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I was trying to talk to anybody that would listen
- 7:32Speaker 2: yesterday about it, but it's really like January second. If
- 7:34Speaker 2: we can keep this roster intact and add a couple players,
- 7:38Speaker 2: it might be in some futures.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Next one question, So it's as we're recording, it's Tuesday, December,
- 7:43Speaker 3: let's call it January first, twenty twenty six. Let's just
- 7:45Speaker 3: pretend it's New Year's Day, which it will be in
- 7:47Speaker 3: forty eight hours New Year's Day, twenty thirty one. Is
- 7:52Speaker 3: he the head coach at Michigan five years?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Probably not, probably twenty thirty two, twenty thirty one, because
- 7:59Speaker 2: he's got five year contract.
- 8:01Speaker 1: He's as old as he is.
- 8:02Speaker 2: But I think it's about stabilizing, maximizing the potential of
- 8:07Speaker 2: Michigan what it is, and then once he rides off,
- 8:09Speaker 2: from the sunset. It's bringing it to where we get
- 8:12Speaker 2: the best guy available again. But this is I think
- 8:14Speaker 2: it's the biggest knock on Kyle Woodingham is his age.
- 8:16Speaker 2: He says he wanted to get out last year, but
- 8:19Speaker 2: this team went five and seven or whatever their record was.
- 8:21Speaker 2: They go through the portal, they go ten and two.
- 8:23Speaker 2: He feels a whole lot better about it. I personally
- 8:25Speaker 2: believe there was the private equity thing going on. He
- 8:27Speaker 2: might have got pushed a little bit. Yeah, he's a
- 8:28Speaker 2: guy that would never say that, and that's why you
- 8:30Speaker 2: love him more for it. But five years from now,
- 8:32Speaker 2: I think he maximizes this and he rides off the sunset,
- 8:35Speaker 2: leaving the program much better off than Sharan Moore did.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And I think that's a massive positive because you get
- 8:40Speaker 2: a guy in waiting, you grew him a person a
- 8:42Speaker 2: DC or OC or you know who the next best
- 8:44Speaker 2: guy is. And now Michigan's playing a couple of chess
- 8:47Speaker 2: pieces ahead of everybody else, similar to we talked to
- 8:50Speaker 2: Ed oseron and he's getting the third party phone call,
- 8:52Speaker 2: going to a gas station. Someone's like, hey, you're gonna
- 8:54Speaker 2: be the next head football coach. Michigan gets to that point,
- 8:57Speaker 2: it seemed like for the last two weeks, Michigan was
- 8:59Speaker 2: in a situation where they find out about the Sharon
- 9:02Speaker 2: stuff and then they're scrambling to find who the new
- 9:05Speaker 2: guy is as much names being thrown around, and they landed,
- 9:07Speaker 2: they fell forward, which is amazing. Okay, So that's my
- 9:10Speaker 2: thought in the next five years.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Did you have any when the announcement first happened and
- 9:14Speaker 1: he didn't know anything about kywitny name, I knew that
- 9:16Speaker 1: you have like sad instance, it wasn't your guy Biff.
- 9:20Speaker 2: No, Because to me at first, I was like, I
- 9:23Speaker 2: just need to know who this guy is because when
- 9:25Speaker 2: it comes to Michigan, where I'm kind of at with
- 9:27Speaker 2: my fandom is whoever's gonna be sitting in that seat,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna support one hundred percent. So whether it was Biff, Kenny,
- 9:33Speaker 2: Kaylen de Bore, the kind of three names are really
- 9:35Speaker 2: popping around last week, I was, yeah, I was fully
- 9:38Speaker 2: ready to support them. Once his name gets named as
- 9:41Speaker 2: the head coach for Michigan, I just think I know
- 9:44Speaker 2: he wins a lot. I know he's been at a
- 9:45Speaker 2: program for twenty one years as a head coach, and
- 9:48Speaker 2: maybe nine years before that as like an assistant coach,
- 9:51Speaker 2: He's won multiple Pac twelve championships. It's a school like
- 9:54Speaker 2: Utah where no disrespect to them, but they don't have
- 9:58Speaker 2: the resources to be a top F fifteen like school
- 10:01Speaker 2: football team year and a year out. However they are
- 10:04Speaker 2: and that's leadership and stability. And I'm like, oh, this
- 10:07Speaker 2: is a guy that absolutely is everything that Michigan needs
- 10:10Speaker 2: right now. So that like, within an hour of him
- 10:12Speaker 2: being named as the head coach, reading about him like oh,
- 10:14Speaker 2: I'm all about this. I actually texted Biff and I
- 10:17Speaker 2: was like, what do you think this is? After he
- 10:19Speaker 2: met him, and he's like, this is the guy, is
- 10:20Speaker 2: exactly what we need. The kids already respect him. I
- 10:23Speaker 2: think he's the perfect fit for Michigan. So even Biff
- 10:26Speaker 2: is like, yeah, this should be the guy.
- 10:28Speaker 3: HM. Would you like to tell a very very brief,
- 10:31Speaker 3: fifty second to one minute behind the scenes story that
- 10:34Speaker 3: illustrates the this thing you did. You did the air
- 10:37Speaker 3: quotes when you said Michigan found out it was really
- 10:40Speaker 3: what you're talking about is there were whispers, there were
- 10:42Speaker 3: some rumors, no one really knew. No one put the
- 10:45Speaker 3: train cars together. There wasn't solid evidence of anything. But
- 10:47Speaker 3: there were whispers throughout the season.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, whispers about the season. I think they.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I was saying, I was going to tell a stories.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Oh you tell yeah story. I thought you said, it's
- 10:56Speaker 3: a story that involves the three of us. Yeah, okay.
- 10:58Speaker 3: So let's about a month ago, probably maybe a month
- 11:02Speaker 3: and a week ago. It was the first time I
- 11:04Speaker 3: went to New York where you guys do get up.
- 11:06Speaker 3: And we walked into the production meeting, which you have
- 11:08Speaker 3: at six am Eastern time, and it's Mike Greenberg head
- 11:11Speaker 3: of the table, and you got some production folks, hawks
- 11:14Speaker 3: probably in there. You got us three shifters on the
- 11:17Speaker 3: wall or Lavski's on the wall. They're on their way in.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Like that's the production meeting setting. And we got through
- 11:23Speaker 3: the whole thing, and then Greenie said, Hey, what about
- 11:26Speaker 3: this Michigan job opening And he was saying those rumors,
- 11:30Speaker 3: aren't they And we ended up just kind of laying
- 11:33Speaker 3: out for him what the situation was, like, wause, no, no, no.
- 11:36Speaker 3: What happened was this is for the social edit. Later,
- 11:39Speaker 3: so Greeney asked about the job openings. He was talking
- 11:43Speaker 3: about Florida and news talking about Auburn and he was
- 11:44Speaker 3: talking about Penn State. Right before everyone gets up, someone
- 11:47Speaker 3: in the room who shall remain nameless, said they watch Michigan.
- 11:50Speaker 3: And then everyone settled back in their seat. They're like,
- 11:52Speaker 3: who whoa because Michigan's not open. This was before there
- 11:55Speaker 3: was really a whiff of that publicly. And remember he said, Michigan,
- 11:59Speaker 3: Michigan's going to go like eight and four, nine to three.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Michigan's they're getting ready for the Ohio State game. What
- 12:03Speaker 3: are you talking about? And then everyone started to share
- 12:06Speaker 3: sort of the rumors they had heard throughout the season,
- 12:09Speaker 3: and the entire picture came together in that production meeting
- 12:12Speaker 3: over like a five minute period and Greenee's Jaws just
- 12:15Speaker 3: on the table. And then sure enough, a week later
- 12:18Speaker 3: to the day, everything that we had said in that
- 12:21Speaker 3: production meeting ended up happening in real life, with the
- 12:25Speaker 3: only added caveat. I guess that some stuff happened internally
- 12:28Speaker 3: at Michigan that made it go public. There was a mechanism,
- 12:32Speaker 3: There was an hr based mechanism. There was a legal
- 12:34Speaker 3: based mechanism that made it all go public. And if
- 12:37Speaker 3: I could have had like surveillance video, if we could
- 12:39Speaker 3: have like a voyeuristic view of that production meeting. We
- 12:42Speaker 3: just packaged that footage up.
- 12:44Speaker 2: We could sell that, Yeah, Crystal Balston, we could sell
- 12:47Speaker 2: that because everything that happened happened to a tier.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Because here's what was beautiful. Greeney is he's a college
- 12:52Speaker 3: football guy, but he's much more pro sports guy. So
- 12:55Speaker 3: he is he's in the weeds of the pro sports
- 12:57Speaker 3: rumors and the free agency rumors and the coaching carosel
- 12:59Speaker 3: on thefl and that's nice and structured. When you come
- 13:03Speaker 3: into the college football carousel world, it is a jungle
- 13:07Speaker 3: with no parameters. It's like when a natural disaster moves
- 13:10Speaker 3: through a town and everything just the civil society breaks
- 13:13Speaker 3: down and you just revert back to Caveman law. That's
- 13:16Speaker 3: kind of the way a college football coaching search and
- 13:19Speaker 3: college football coaching rumors are. And we were watching him.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Every time you said something, then I'd say something, then
- 13:25Speaker 3: will Uld say something, then Schefter would say something then
- 13:27Speaker 3: or lots of you would say something, and everyone's kind
- 13:29Speaker 3: of piecing together versions of what they've heard. We're all
- 13:31Speaker 3: adding a rubber band onto the ball, and he's like
- 13:34Speaker 3: his mouth goes from this to this to this, And
- 13:38Speaker 3: it was watching someone in real time get a sense
- 13:40Speaker 3: of what it's like to live in the college football
- 13:43Speaker 3: weeds instead of just to view them over in the
- 13:45Speaker 3: ditch from the road. We pulled him in to the weeds.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I was going to say, I feel like we've brought
- 13:50Speaker 1: some some more college football fascination to Greenee that throughout
- 13:55Speaker 1: the year, throughout the season.
- 13:56Speaker 2: He's always been kind of curious. And it really started
- 13:58Speaker 2: like whatever was like third week in September and you
- 14:01Speaker 2: came on and Greeney was like, who's this Josh Peate guy?
- 14:04Speaker 2: And then you did your segment via zoom and after
- 14:07Speaker 2: you've got off, it was like the commercial breaking He's like,
- 14:08Speaker 2: I think I like that job, payt guy. I think
- 14:10Speaker 2: he seems like he knows what he's talking about. And
- 14:12Speaker 2: we were obviously being out giving you your flowers behind
- 14:15Speaker 2: the scenes.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Shouting out our show. Yeah yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And then every week Greeney would get more and more
- 14:21Speaker 2: enamored with Josh Peyton has takes and what's taking place
- 14:24Speaker 2: in college football. And I think the Michigan the Michigan
- 14:26Speaker 2: situation broke, it broke its back hooked him.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Between between the weeks of the Michigan LSU with Kiffen
- 14:32Speaker 1: and Ole Miss and everything else like that is it's
- 14:34Speaker 1: been prime time college football popularity as far as diving
- 14:37Speaker 1: into all the weeds of everything that's going on.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, do you think there was any validity to kill
- 14:42Speaker 2: in the boor leaving Alabama?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Zero?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Did you believe is this like, Hey, we're going to
- 14:48Speaker 2: talk about the outcome of the game after the game,
- 14:50Speaker 2: this is what should have happened?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Or is did you know this had zero validity?
- 14:55Speaker 3: I knew as far as I could know from talking
- 14:58Speaker 3: to Kaitlin several times through the I says it has
- 15:00Speaker 3: zero validity.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Okay, all right, that seems like a fair source.
- 15:03Speaker 3: You know, I don't want a traffic in unsubstantiated rumors.
- 15:06Speaker 3: So in this in this new journalism two point zero
- 15:09Speaker 3: world and whence we live, you just got to throw
- 15:11Speaker 3: your sources out there. So everyone's like, well, how would
- 15:14Speaker 3: you know that? I talked to Kaitlyn today? Man, that's
- 15:16Speaker 3: kind of how I know what I know. You may
- 15:18Speaker 3: have a better source than Kaitlin Debora on this as
- 15:20Speaker 3: it relates to where Kaylen de Bor is going to go.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I'm just going off what the guy tells me. He's
- 15:24Speaker 3: never lied to man in his life, So that's my
- 15:27Speaker 3: that's where I'm sitting right.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Because you also lied to it, sitting up here talking
- 15:30Speaker 1: about Marcus Freeman.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Man, let's let's recap right here. Recap. I think
- 15:36Speaker 3: the Giants are going to target Marcus Freeman, and I
- 15:38Speaker 3: think he will listen to them. The Giants have since
- 15:41Speaker 3: targeted Marcus Freeman. He probably listened briefly. Instaid I'm staying
- 15:45Speaker 3: at Notre Dame. Translation, you're a fraud. You lied to us.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Somebody coming after you.
- 15:51Speaker 3: And I click baited him. Not sure what I wanted
- 15:54Speaker 3: him to click on, but I click baited them, and
- 15:56Speaker 3: I wanted here's the harshest allegation. This is really the
- 15:59Speaker 3: only one I care about. I wanted to push Marcus
- 16:02Speaker 3: Freeman too the NFL because you guys know how much
- 16:04Speaker 3: I really traffic in the NFL. College football is a
- 16:06Speaker 3: side job for me. I'm a big NFL guy.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You're the pipeline if I get it.
- 16:10Speaker 3: By the way, I just build this gigantic funnel and
- 16:13Speaker 3: then I toss everything that's good about college football into
- 16:16Speaker 3: the funnel to hopefully get it to the NFL pistol
- 16:18Speaker 3: college football. Who needs college football?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Right?
- 16:20Speaker 3: No? I want all the prize commodities, the great coaches.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I want them all to go to the NFL. I'm
- 16:24Speaker 3: gonna lose the players to the draft within four years.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Let's get rid of the coaches too. That's in my
- 16:28Speaker 3: best interest. That's my business model, actually to push all
- 16:31Speaker 3: of the good coaches and to completely kneecap all the
- 16:35Speaker 3: great programs by pushing their coaches to the NFL.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm glad you got that after your chest.
- 16:39Speaker 3: That's pay state material.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah. And also Lincoln Riley all he does about him too.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I'm not backing down on Lincoln Riley. Oh, that buzz
- 16:46Speaker 3: was everywhere.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Buzz was there, that is no longer there for.
- 16:50Speaker 3: This cycle, I would assume, not like the only way
- 16:52Speaker 3: that would happen. And let me which when you look
- 16:55Speaker 3: at my key shot, I haven't heard anything on this.
- 16:59Speaker 3: The only thing that change that. Yeah, the only thing
- 17:01Speaker 3: that would change that is if which I haven't heard
- 17:05Speaker 3: is the case. But if like he were to go
- 17:09Speaker 3: the NFL route. I never hardly know about the NFL.
- 17:11Speaker 3: The only reason I knew about the Giants is called
- 17:13Speaker 3: Everyone kind of knew, Yeah, the Giants were gonna tart
- 17:15Speaker 3: Freeman and that was the reports. When when it happened.
- 17:19Speaker 3: So yeah, other than that, but there was a lot
- 17:21Speaker 3: of buzz about Lincoln Riley, like I was not on
- 17:23Speaker 3: an island. If you know who to listen to. I
- 17:25Speaker 3: wasn't even the only one who said that. So either
- 17:26Speaker 3: everyone lied, we kind of collaboratively lied about it, or
- 17:31Speaker 3: no one really cares about doing that. And there was
- 17:32Speaker 3: buzz about Lincoln Riley.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But you're the guy. You are the guy.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm the face who listened to.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Like, if I ever hear a room, I just call
- 17:39Speaker 2: you because I don't know.
- 17:40Speaker 1: What's twenty two is. We'll talk about all of these conversations,
- 17:43Speaker 1: whether we give surface level whatever to the audience. We
- 17:46Speaker 1: have all these conversations around the show, like whether it's
- 17:48Speaker 1: before the show like oh snap, yeah, oh I heard this,
- 17:51Speaker 1: blah blah blah. We'll talk about it after the show.
- 17:54Speaker 1: But Josh, whether Josh says says something, we'll just have this.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was just feeds it even more lie. Yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 1: because everybody else in the same reaction as this.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Oh when you told us post show, I think that
- 18:11Speaker 2: was the most mind blowing concept we've ever heard.
- 18:14Speaker 1: There's no why would he there's no way.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Just keep your on it. Keep frozer grenade in the
- 18:19Speaker 2: middle of our show. Yeah, nobody was in the nothing happened. Yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 2: he had to put him back for a second. Should
- 18:25Speaker 2: we get in the games?
- 18:26Speaker 3: Let's do it?
- 18:27Speaker 1: That's fun, all right?
- 18:30Speaker 2: First game, Dan Lanning, Joy Maguire here, do you want Okay,
- 18:36Speaker 2: do you want to go somewhere else?
- 18:38Speaker 1: I'm staring at the bracket.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Stare at the bracket.
- 18:41Speaker 3: If you already have an order, go by the order.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I was just gonna make a humble suggestion, all right.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Typically on this stuff, if we have a game that
- 18:48Speaker 3: starts the previous day, I would do that one last,
- 18:50Speaker 3: because if someone's listening to us on New Year's Day,
- 18:54Speaker 3: the cotton bowls already happened, which is going to suck
- 18:56Speaker 3: for us because they know the ending. But I would
- 18:58Speaker 3: do that one last.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Okay, into the rosewell why not?
- 19:01Speaker 3: All right? Right up?
- 19:02Speaker 2: This episode of Bring You Form Energy Form Energy delivers
- 19:04Speaker 2: best in class taste with natural flavors and zero sugar.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea. Form
- 19:10Speaker 2: comes in a variety of flavors. We're talking about screaming freedom.
- 19:13Speaker 2: We got grapes, smash, blue, Blitz, orange, very perfect for
- 19:16Speaker 2: those who put in the work form energy.
- 19:18Speaker 1: We do the work. Let's get to this episode.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Okay, let's do the rose. Well, we've got Alabama versus
- 19:22Speaker 2: number one Indiana. Indiana's favorite at seven and a half.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Total points in that game is forty eight and a half.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I think it's opened up at six and a half.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Right, yeah, wait, what is it now?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Seven and a half according to the sheet that Ryan Nolan.
- 19:34Speaker 3: That's interesting is seven and a half.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Let me just ask one question that we can break
- 19:39Speaker 2: the game down. What is the model?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Set model? Says Indiana minus three and a half. There's
- 19:44Speaker 3: a huge difference.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Huge difference, yea, A huge difference is Indiana.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I like it, though, I like Alabama to cover. I
- 19:52Speaker 1: just don't know if they got I just don't know
- 19:54Speaker 1: if they have all sixty minutes to beat Indiana. You
- 19:59Speaker 1: don't know if they have sixty I don't know if
- 20:00Speaker 1: they got the sixty minutes to beat Indiana.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Oh man, I just what you think? Sec Bate ty
- 20:07Speaker 3: Simpson comes on the show, does everything but howl in
- 20:11Speaker 3: your face. You went out there, you stayed in New York,
- 20:14Speaker 3: you went out there. I want to one of the
- 20:16Speaker 3: games you were able to get on the field.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Once Well heard we were going to Miami, and he's like,
- 20:21Speaker 2: ouldn't worry. I'm that you guys are supporting in New York.
- 20:26Speaker 2: He stayed in Ash do nothing. He lied, Lincoln Riley
- 20:29Speaker 2: went to New York. Two lies, as it plays on
- 20:31Speaker 2: the show.
- 20:32Speaker 3: But onward was like, oh yeah, so Tyd Simpson. Yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 3: goes into wolf mode, which ironically you had a wolf
- 20:38Speaker 3: after you and Norman and he was on the field.
- 20:41Speaker 3: He was on the field wolf mode. He's howling. He
- 20:43Speaker 3: comes on the show afterwards, calls both of you out.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Shame on both of you for picking against him in
- 20:47Speaker 3: that round. Okay, and so you would think to yourself,
- 20:50Speaker 3: you were on.
- 20:50Speaker 1: That graphic too. Now he spared you.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Right, I can't believe you didn't catch it last week.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I lobbed it as clear as I could to you.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Last week.
- 21:01Speaker 2: We saw it.
- 21:02Speaker 3: We just responded to it, just watched it hit the ground.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, he's trying to dunk on us.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Here's what I'm trying to say. If you pick against
- 21:07Speaker 3: Alabama this week, you disrespect him and you hate ty Simpson.
- 21:11Speaker 3: So would that continue your prediction?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I like it. I like Alabama to
- 21:15Speaker 1: cover to cover to cover. I'm taking Alabama plus even
- 21:18Speaker 1: and a half. Yea minety six and a half. I'm
- 21:20Speaker 1: sitting there, I'm pounding my head against the wall. I
- 21:23Speaker 1: kind of don't know which way to go. I do
- 21:25Speaker 1: believe Indiana is gonna win this game, but I'm like,
- 21:27Speaker 1: does Alabama keep it close? Six and a half seems
- 21:30Speaker 1: like a lot. Now that it's seven and a half,
- 21:32Speaker 1: we're getting a full point. I kind of like Alabama
- 21:35Speaker 1: score a game.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Now you're looking at before it was as hey, if
- 21:37Speaker 2: they went by a touchdown, I can see that happening
- 21:39Speaker 2: with Indiana. You look at any of the defensive lineman
- 21:42Speaker 2: Stephen Daily, he goes down, he has five and a
- 21:44Speaker 2: half sacks, celebrating with fans after the bag ten championshich is, yeah, huge,
- 21:48Speaker 2: lands on his leg, all weird. He was our best
- 21:50Speaker 2: defensive lineman. And then you watch a film of Indiana
- 21:53Speaker 2: and their defense, and they run a bunch of like
- 21:56Speaker 2: run stunts on first and second down, so it really
- 21:58Speaker 2: messes up. Alabama's already rushing for three point and four
- 22:01Speaker 2: yards per carry, and they do a great job of
- 22:04Speaker 2: zone blitz and exotic blitz. And if you watch the
- 22:06Speaker 2: Oklahoma Alabama game, Oklahoma in the first half ran one
- 22:10Speaker 2: specific blitz over over and over again in the middle
- 22:13Speaker 2: of that offensive line. It was linebacker or nose goes
- 22:16Speaker 2: across the face of the center and the linebacker comes
- 22:18Speaker 2: in and for whatever reason, series after series they cannot
- 22:21Speaker 2: figure that out. So then you think, okay, in Theanni's
- 22:24Speaker 2: kind of got the edge and everything. Then you see
- 22:26Speaker 2: Omar Cooper Junior's trying back, who missed the Big Ten
- 22:28Speaker 2: championship game we played in the first quarter, misses that game,
- 22:31Speaker 2: and he I think he has what eight hundred and
- 22:33Speaker 2: fifty nine receiving yards, My courage as well be three thousand,
- 22:36Speaker 2: might as well be three thousand. And then you see
- 22:39Speaker 2: Ty Simpson. He's kind of looks like between the years,
- 22:41Speaker 2: he's having a trouble, a little bit of trouble in
- 22:43Speaker 2: the first half. Late in the second quarter or early
- 22:46Speaker 2: in the second quarter, throws the ball in the Alabama
- 22:48Speaker 2: sidelines kind of a duck, but it gets him out
- 22:50Speaker 2: of whatever fog he was in. They go back and
- 22:52Speaker 2: what score thirty seven to seven in the second half,
- 22:55Speaker 2: so it kind of like, oh, is Alabama back? And
- 22:58Speaker 2: then you add the point of seven and a half
- 23:00Speaker 2: and I sit there thinking about we're talking at ty
- 23:02Speaker 2: Simpson and he is like he's a wolf. He gets
- 23:04Speaker 2: in my face. He puts the graphic of all of
- 23:06Speaker 2: us on, but only tags us and spares Josh Pate
- 23:09Speaker 2: and I have no choice but to go Indiana covering
- 23:14Speaker 2: minus seven and a half because of that, and it's
- 23:17Speaker 2: a piece of me. It's like, hey, if Alabama wins,
- 23:20Speaker 2: then I've done them a favorite yet again, because it's
- 23:23Speaker 2: clearly motivation. Ty Simpson clearly watches the show, shouldn't be
- 23:26Speaker 2: watching a gambling show. Clearly watches the show. He's a
- 23:29Speaker 2: fan of the Boys of the Boys. But I hope
- 23:31Speaker 2: he doesn't have, you know, one of the maps right now.
- 23:33Speaker 2: He can't have that in college football, John Mattier can't
- 23:35Speaker 2: have that.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Do you see this being anything other than a Ty
- 23:39Speaker 1: Simpson This is a if Alabama's gonna win, it's gonna
- 23:41Speaker 1: be a ty Simpson legacy game. It has because they're
- 23:43Speaker 1: not gonna be able to run the football. I was
- 23:45Speaker 1: talking with Garrett, who's our role tiede tier one, and
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I mean sixty yards that'd be improvement, that'd
- 23:51Speaker 1: be what's something that you leave the game being like, well,
- 23:54Speaker 1: at least we could run the football a little bit,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but it's gonna have to be a Ty Simpson legacy game.
- 23:58Speaker 1: And you're talking about what Indiana does well, is they
- 24:01Speaker 1: cut up the front. They also do exotic pressure or
- 24:04Speaker 1: zone blitzes everything else. When you do true zone dogs,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you're still sending five men to rush the passer. Where
- 24:10Speaker 1: Indiana does a good job as they do a lot
- 24:12Speaker 1: of simulated pressures, a lot of things that we did
- 24:14Speaker 1: with DMPs when I came to Tennessee in twenty eighteen,
- 24:17Speaker 1: where if you're just rushing the passer and you're playing
- 24:20Speaker 1: let's just say cover three, four underneath and three deep,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you're rushing four guys simulated pressures. You're bringing guys from
- 24:26Speaker 1: the second level, but you're dropping a defensive lineman out,
- 24:29Speaker 1: so that way you're still getting the simulation of a
- 24:31Speaker 1: pressure that Ty Simpson is going to have to pick
- 24:33Speaker 1: up on, but you're still dropping an in so you're
- 24:35Speaker 1: still going to get that four underneath, three deep. Look,
- 24:38Speaker 1: if you're talking about simulated pressure in the cover.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Three case, people, the thing when you bring a lot of pressure,
- 24:42Speaker 2: there's clear holes in the defense. But by dropping that
- 24:45Speaker 2: defensive lineman, one tysims is going to react to Okay,
- 24:48Speaker 2: someone's coming here, I.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Can go there.
- 24:49Speaker 2: But there's somebody replacing in that area as well, which
- 24:52Speaker 2: can cause and turnovers and bignetti.
- 24:54Speaker 1: You know, they're going to do a good job of
- 24:56Speaker 1: disguising at times so they can try and throw it off.
- 24:58Speaker 1: And if they're cutting it up and getting after Ohio State,
- 25:01Speaker 1: Julian's singing that offensive line, who's just saying they're not
- 25:04Speaker 1: gonna be getting after Alabama as well. That's why I
- 25:05Speaker 1: feel like it's gonna if if Bama's gonna win, it's
- 25:08Speaker 1: gonna be a ty Simpson legacy game, right, And I
- 25:10Speaker 1: think you're you're also playing the Heisman Trophy wonder Fernanda Mendoza,
- 25:13Speaker 1: Najuma tier for Nanda Mendoza. You're also playing a team
- 25:16Speaker 1: who can run the football, not Oklahoma who can't run
- 25:18Speaker 1: the football, a team who can run the football.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And people I brought up Stephen Daily him getting hurt,
- 25:23Speaker 2: and he's clearly the best defensive lineman. But because of
- 25:26Speaker 2: the stunts that take place on first and second down,
- 25:28Speaker 2: the simulator pressures a lot of times a guy can
- 25:30Speaker 2: come free. So when you lose your best player that
- 25:33Speaker 2: you're usually scheming, because of these simulator pressures, guys have
- 25:36Speaker 2: more opportunities to run free, which leads me to believe
- 25:38Speaker 2: there's still going to be an equal amount of pressure
- 25:41Speaker 2: with Steven Day out of the game.
- 25:42Speaker 1: And we can just talk amongst each other because we
- 25:44Speaker 1: know he's gonna go here the second. Yeah, But you're
- 25:46Speaker 1: right because when old buddies out their best player on
- 25:49Speaker 1: the d line, when he's out, they're not just true
- 25:51Speaker 1: rushing all the time to where it's like Jeffrey Simmons
- 25:53Speaker 1: on the Tennessee Titans, where he's just going to absolutely
- 25:56Speaker 1: disrupt the entire game because he gets multiple guys. You've
- 25:58Speaker 1: got to, hey, we got a scheme against him because
- 25:59Speaker 1: they are doing so much creativity with sinding, Blitz is
- 26:02Speaker 1: sending pressure everything else.
- 26:04Speaker 2: That's where Yeah, and before we let Josh go, it's like,
- 26:08Speaker 2: do we believe in Ty Simpson, No doubt, that's the boy,
- 26:11Speaker 2: that's the guy that's our exactly. But when you can't
- 26:15Speaker 2: effectively run the ball and make yourself one dimensional, it's like,
- 26:18Speaker 2: all right, can Big Nettie take all this time and
- 26:21Speaker 2: they'll be like, Okay, this is guy we clearly have
- 26:23Speaker 2: to beat, so let's just make sure and disrupt him
- 26:26Speaker 2: so he's never safe. Make him get outside the pocket,
- 26:29Speaker 2: and then you know, have your guys play in.
- 26:31Speaker 1: The back end.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Now you're not worried about the run game, but let me.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Throw something at you please. Ohia State has a down
- 26:37Speaker 1: game in the Big Ten Championship. Down game, down game.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Ohio State has a down game where Indiana sneaks him.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Indiana shows up, they've had some time off, they show
- 26:46Speaker 1: up and it's Indiana, Notre Dame last year when we
- 26:49Speaker 1: were staying on that sideline. They get hit in the mouth.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Bama runs away with it.
- 26:54Speaker 2: I love, I love where your head's at. It's completely
- 26:56Speaker 2: normal for you to think that way. But we're also
- 26:58Speaker 2: looking at a year or two of some of the
- 27:00Speaker 2: that were in that locker room against under Dame.
- 27:02Speaker 1: They're back.
- 27:02Speaker 2: They understand the process, how the playoffs worked. Before Indiana
- 27:06Speaker 2: this was like a what a great story. One of
- 27:08Speaker 2: the worst program at football programs in the history of
- 27:11Speaker 2: the sport college football. They've made it the playoffs the
- 27:13Speaker 2: first time. This Kurt signetic guy, who is he?
- 27:15Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I've googled him. Apparently he wins. Now they're in the
- 27:18Speaker 2: year two of it, Nana Mendoza wins the Heisman. It's
- 27:20Speaker 2: a completely different attitude that's kind of taken place here.
- 27:24Speaker 2: And to say they had a down game, I think
- 27:27Speaker 2: Ohio State is probably gonna go on a crazy little
- 27:29Speaker 2: run yet again. And regardless of how Michigan was this year,
- 27:33Speaker 2: that win for Ohio State was big for them and
- 27:36Speaker 2: they let them go. Thank God that's done, because they
- 27:39Speaker 2: clearly were the better team. They should have probably won
- 27:41Speaker 2: the year before, however they didn't. And now there's all
- 27:44Speaker 2: this amplified pressure taking place for Ohio State and they
- 27:47Speaker 2: get a win the way they did against Michigan, it's
- 27:49Speaker 2: kind of understandable that they'd be like a little hey,
- 27:51Speaker 2: we finally got them Rocky off for back, which makes
- 27:53Speaker 2: me go Indiana like they might not be as good
- 27:56Speaker 2: as what we sell in the beig ten Championship, but
- 27:59Speaker 2: based on one dimensional Alabama offense and big Netty, his culture,
- 28:04Speaker 2: his attitude, the way he talks about, you know, the
- 28:06Speaker 2: process and emotions don't really matter. We're working on fundamentals
- 28:09Speaker 2: and he just approaches everything the way a head coach
- 28:12Speaker 2: should It's like, I don't see these guys having a
- 28:14Speaker 2: break a bye and then walking into this thing slow.
- 28:17Speaker 2: They understand what that stake and they understand what the
- 28:19Speaker 2: logos that people are gonna look at. Regardless of the
- 28:21Speaker 2: one being next to Indiana's, people are gonna go, oh shit,
- 28:23Speaker 2: Alabama's gonna mop this team. And that's where Indiana catches
- 28:27Speaker 2: the edge evenymore.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Josh, this is a tough show to do because we
- 28:33Speaker 3: picked the biggest games. The biggest games have the tightest spreads.
- 28:37Speaker 3: The tightest spreads mean it could go either way. It's
- 28:39Speaker 3: tough to give yourself an edge. We're trying to see
- 28:41Speaker 3: through the fog a lot of times when we're trying
- 28:43Speaker 3: to make these picks. This one's not that way for me.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Alabama's gonna win this game outright, So I'll take the points,
- 28:49Speaker 3: especially if you're giving me seven and a half. I
- 28:51Speaker 3: love it. Both of you are doubting ty Simpson. That's
- 28:54Speaker 3: what you're doing.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Nope, no doubt shit, Josh, don't you put that. He said,
- 28:59Speaker 2: ty Simon is a dog. Their offense is one dimensional.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Let me tell you what a dog would do in
- 29:04Speaker 3: this game. He'd win the game. He'd win the game.
- 29:08Speaker 3: That's what he would get the point dogs do in
- 29:10Speaker 3: he went on the road against Georgia. Did they have
- 29:12Speaker 3: a run game against Georgia earlier in the year.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Come on now that Dell was earlier in the year,
- 29:18Speaker 1: earlier in the year.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Glad you're mentioning this, William. Do you want to know
- 29:21Speaker 3: why I'm going back to the Georgia game, Please do
- 29:25Speaker 3: tell sources deep inside the program tell me that Alabama's
- 29:28Speaker 3: team will be as healthy as not just they've been
- 29:31Speaker 3: since the Georgia game, but since they've been since the
- 29:34Speaker 3: second scrimmage of fall camp. You hadn't seen this team
- 29:36Speaker 3: all year, and I get the added psychological benefit of
- 29:40Speaker 3: the rubber band effect of what the final three quarters
- 29:43Speaker 3: of that Oklahoma game did. You just summoned the Ohio
- 29:46Speaker 3: State example and it was good. I want to go
- 29:48Speaker 3: back to the year before the Ohio State Michigan example
- 29:51Speaker 3: where they lose, but somehow, some way that ends up
- 29:54Speaker 3: being the psychological rubber band for Ohio State and they
- 29:57Speaker 3: go on a run. That spread is what it is
- 29:59Speaker 3: because of what these teams have been this year. But
- 30:02Speaker 3: I'm not trying to look in my rearview mirror to
- 30:04Speaker 3: pick the Rose Bowl. I'm trying to look in the windshield.
- 30:07Speaker 3: My entire premise for my belief that Alabama's gonna win
- 30:09Speaker 3: this game out right, is because I believe the team
- 30:11Speaker 3: that will be on the field, or rather the performance
- 30:14Speaker 3: level that will be on the field, will benefit. Number One,
- 30:16Speaker 3: for having jumped in ice cold water and survived it
- 30:18Speaker 3: last week, and then you kind of feel yourself a
- 30:20Speaker 3: little bit. Number two, I think the Steven Daily loss
- 30:24Speaker 3: is even bigger than you guys just made it. You
- 30:26Speaker 3: pointed it out and you talked about it. They haven't
- 30:28Speaker 3: had to play a series without that guy all year.
- 30:30Speaker 3: And if you go back and watch them against Oregon,
- 30:32Speaker 3: you go back and watch them against Ohio State, He's
- 30:34Speaker 3: constantly in the backfield. If I give Ty Simpson any
- 30:36Speaker 3: time to throw. The only other set of receivers that
- 30:41Speaker 3: Indiana faced like Alabama has is Ohio State. Ohio State
- 30:45Speaker 3: was very hesitant to even use that part of their weaponry,
- 30:48Speaker 3: which I think would be different a second time around
- 30:50Speaker 3: if they played them. But the other thing that I
- 30:53Speaker 3: think people are forgetting here is Alabama's defense carried them
- 30:57Speaker 3: while they were banged up, and then they go into
- 30:59Speaker 3: the Georgia again and they're totally crippled. And the Georgia
- 31:01Speaker 3: game is the lasting impression, even above the Oklahoma game,
- 31:04Speaker 3: that I think a lot of people have in their minds,
- 31:06Speaker 3: even though that Oklahoma game just happened like two weeks ago.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I really think most people when they picture Alabama in
- 31:11Speaker 3: their head. Some people probably even still remember the Florida
- 31:14Speaker 3: State game from the beginning of the year, but you
- 31:16Speaker 3: really remember that Georgia game because the mind thinks in
- 31:19Speaker 3: terms of worst case, like what's the disaster scenario. The
- 31:22Speaker 3: best case scenario FORBAMA this year has been winning close games.
- 31:25Speaker 3: The worst case has been the whole wheels come off,
- 31:28Speaker 3: all four of them come off, like they did against Georgia.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I don't think any semblance of that team is taking
- 31:33Speaker 3: the field this week at the Rose Bowl because I've
- 31:36Speaker 3: got Josh Quavis back, I've got a healthy Parker Brailsford,
- 31:39Speaker 3: I've got LT Overton back. They thought medically that guy
- 31:42Speaker 3: wasn't going to play again this year. And remember, he's
- 31:44Speaker 3: not coming back from injury. He's coming back from medical,
- 31:47Speaker 3: so it's not like they're trying to ease him back
- 31:48Speaker 3: in with an ankle or a knee so out Indiana's
- 31:52Speaker 3: best defensive front player enter Alabama's best defensive front player.
- 31:56Speaker 3: And in Indiana's closest games this year, you're talking about
- 31:59Speaker 3: a five point winning against Indiana or Iowa. You're talking
- 32:01Speaker 3: about a come from behind win against Penn State. You're
- 32:04Speaker 3: talking about hanging thirteen to beat Ohio State. These haven't
- 32:07Speaker 3: been blowout games. I think Alabama's team will play at
- 32:11Speaker 3: the highest level that they've played at all year. Therefore,
- 32:13Speaker 3: I think what we're going to see is not indicative
- 32:16Speaker 3: necessarily in their worst moments of what we have seen.
- 32:18Speaker 3: And the other thing about Indiana their talent, like their
- 32:22Speaker 3: best skill set has been high level execution, which will
- 32:26Speaker 3: buzzsaw you through a regular season. The one thing that
- 32:28Speaker 3: I worry about is the same thing growing up as
- 32:30Speaker 3: a Braves fan that I worried about with Greg maddis.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Greg Maddox was the ace of my staff, and he
- 32:34Speaker 3: was a craftsman, and he never hit ninety five on
- 32:37Speaker 3: the gun, but he didn't need to, and he'd win
- 32:39Speaker 3: like eighteen nineteen games in the regular season. He's the professor.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I don't need to sell I don't need to say
- 32:47Speaker 3: I want to beat you actually, look at my record.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I need to beat you. He said.
- 32:50Speaker 2: We weren't going to do it.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Now he's trying to do it. Well, just safety. I
- 32:54Speaker 1: am Alabama plus seven and a half.
- 32:56Speaker 3: They're getting the.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Post and I'll get to look, it was always Alabama
- 32:58Speaker 1: plus seven and a half. Hey, you're not in Indiana. No,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I'm saying Indiana. I think Indiana is gonna win, but
- 33:03Speaker 1: I think Alabama's gonna cover.
- 33:05Speaker 3: You are gonna win. That's the irony of all this.
- 33:07Speaker 3: You are gonna win.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I said it right before, like I said it honestly
- 33:10Speaker 1: at the very top.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And he started talking and thinking to myself, Oh my god,
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah he has.
- 33:17Speaker 1: He think about who his preseason national champ was, Alabama, Alabama.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Think about like, what kind of equity he has in
- 33:24Speaker 1: Alabama winning this game. Think about what kind of equity
- 33:26Speaker 1: has in this storytelling family.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Think about his wife.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yeah, his dad.
- 33:37Speaker 3: One of the dirtiest players I've ever met. Why would
- 33:38Speaker 3: I even listen to you talking about my dad?
- 33:42Speaker 2: You know, Hey, if you're so confident Alabama takeing Alabama
- 33:45Speaker 2: on money line already did Okay, Yeah, so this is
- 33:51Speaker 2: what it's like to be on an island.
- 33:54Speaker 3: The problem the problem.
- 33:58Speaker 1: No, Actually, what's with you?
- 33:59Speaker 3: You get in the playoffs? This used to be like
- 34:01Speaker 3: one of your religious part of your show prep is
- 34:04Speaker 3: I'm listening to my words parented back in my face
- 34:06Speaker 3: because you've listened to my show when my show.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to, had to because you say things
- 34:12Speaker 2: so beautifully and eloquently. I can't help but just keep
- 34:14Speaker 2: it in my head and then it comes out of
- 34:16Speaker 2: my mouth in a less beautiful way, and I just
- 34:18Speaker 2: can't do that.
- 34:19Speaker 1: So I decided then when you when you called him
- 34:22Speaker 1: on it, he's probably thinking, Okay, I gotta yeah, I texted.
- 34:26Speaker 2: By the way, I don't mean to do that. It
- 34:28Speaker 2: just kind of happens.
- 34:29Speaker 3: We left that day, everyone's laughing in a great mood,
- 34:31Speaker 3: and then I looked down on my phone. It's like,
- 34:33Speaker 3: I can tell there were tear drops on the phone.
- 34:35Speaker 3: If you texted me this apology, I'm like, yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 1: It had a bunch of yeah, my team is for me.
- 34:41Speaker 1: That's kind of what happened.
- 34:41Speaker 3: So I wanted to stroke your cheek, like it's okay, man. No,
- 34:46Speaker 3: let me tell you about Greg Maddics. He would get
- 34:49Speaker 3: to the playoffs and he get let up in the playoffs.
- 34:52Speaker 3: And it's not cause Greg Matics was a bad titue.
- 34:54Speaker 3: It's because he had to rely on craftsmanship and high
- 34:57Speaker 3: level precision to overcome raw power that he I'm not
- 35:00Speaker 3: saying Indiana lacks power. I'm saying they lack elite athleticism
- 35:04Speaker 3: and because of that, they're so fundamentally sound technically, they
- 35:08Speaker 3: just out execute folks when you get to the postseason
- 35:11Speaker 3: that can win. But they've got to actually do Obama's
- 35:14Speaker 3: been doing all year. They got to walk the tightrope.
- 35:16Speaker 3: That's what Indiana has to do. They don't have this
- 35:18Speaker 3: massive athletic edge. They're playing a team in Alabama that's
- 35:21Speaker 3: had to live that way all year. And they're playing
- 35:24Speaker 3: a team in Alabama that really doesn't get crowbarred down
- 35:28Speaker 3: to a halt if you take away their ground game
- 35:31Speaker 3: because they haven't run the ball anyway. So I think
- 35:33Speaker 3: Alabama's going to be very, very efficient throwing the ball.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Weather could be horrible, by the way, weather could be
- 35:39Speaker 3: horrible here. A lot of people have theories on who
- 35:41Speaker 3: that helps, and a lot of times it's just a
- 35:43Speaker 3: wash pun. A lot of times it's a wash I
- 35:46Speaker 3: always love if I've got a deep receiver Corps. I
- 35:49Speaker 3: always love that those guys know where they're going and
- 35:51Speaker 3: the defense doesn't. And I think from a reactionary standpoint,
- 35:54Speaker 3: a lot of times bad weather or a wet track
- 35:56Speaker 3: works against the defense a lot more than it just
- 35:59Speaker 3: helps the one game.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You got seven studs for that.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm gonna take.
- 36:05Speaker 1: King Hans, no doubt. I don't know the size Ties got,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I don't know how the rest, but I have all
- 36:14Speaker 2: the games. I'm praying Indiana, not because of I love Tie.
- 36:17Speaker 1: He's doubting Big Netty, Indiana. Twitter is gonna eat this up.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So you're on this show. You're taking Alabama money line.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Yes, that's all I needed.
- 36:26Speaker 2: That's all I needed because if I had that l
- 36:29Speaker 2: category him.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I started laughing when he was talking about Who's who's
- 36:35Speaker 1: the d lineman coming back for Bama lt Overton lt Overton.
- 36:37Speaker 1: When he was like, he's not just coming back from injury.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I was hoping he was gonna say he's coming back
- 36:42Speaker 1: from death. Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I talked to Gary about it yesterday to okay, he's back,
- 36:47Speaker 2: and I was all on Alabama yesterday and then for
- 36:51Speaker 2: whatever reason.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Oh hey, so you you were mentioning, Hey, if they
- 36:54Speaker 3: get sixty yards on the ground, like, that's a good
- 36:56Speaker 3: day right for Alabama. Got some good news for you.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I was just looking at fans duel over under seventy
- 37:02Speaker 3: seven and a half rushing yards for Alabama?
- 37:05Speaker 1: What are you taking there?
- 37:07Speaker 3: Don't have a strong feel on it, because I think
- 37:09Speaker 3: they can run it for sixty eight yards and win. Like,
- 37:11Speaker 3: I think there's several pads. I don't count on Alabama
- 37:13Speaker 3: to run the ball. If they ran it, that would
- 37:15Speaker 3: just be a crazy added bonus to me. I think
- 37:17Speaker 3: if they if they rush for over seventy seven yards,
- 37:19Speaker 3: it's something like Ryan Williams on some orbit motion or
- 37:24Speaker 3: something like that ends up breaking off thirty five and
- 37:27Speaker 3: then the rest of the game just looks like a
- 37:29Speaker 3: normal Alabama game. And they have eighty four rushing yards,
- 37:31Speaker 3: but half of it comes on one play and it's
- 37:33Speaker 3: probably the ends of a receiver. So say all that's say,
- 37:36Speaker 3: I don't have a feel on that one, but I'll
- 37:37Speaker 3: take Alabama moneyline.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Alabama money line Alabama plus seven and a half, yes,
- 37:41Speaker 2: Indian of minor seven and a half.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Onward, what game would you have to go to next?
- 37:45Speaker 3: Josh, let's go to the Sugar Bowl.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Sugar Bowl All Miss versus Georgia. Georgia's favor by six
- 37:53Speaker 2: and a half points. Total in that game is fifty
- 37:55Speaker 2: five and a half. This team played before forward seventeen
- 38:00Speaker 2: points in the fourth quarter All Miss towards zero.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Forty three thirty five final.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Right, Yes, nice little shootout. Fun, little shootout, fun little shootout. Touchdown, touchdown,
- 38:11Speaker 2: touchdown every drive.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Georgia never punted. Ole Miss had touchdowns in their first
- 38:16Speaker 3: five drives. Trinidad Chambliss's first SEC road start. They played
- 38:22Speaker 3: obviously earlier in the year, so that was an ath.
- 38:24Speaker 1: This was pre Georgia defense coming alive all of a sud.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah's true.
- 38:28Speaker 1: This is pre Georgia getting to the quarterback. Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Some say in Georgia circles. The latter portion of this
- 38:34Speaker 3: game is where their defense turned a corner. I don't
- 38:36Speaker 3: disagree with them. Kirby's trying to downplay that. He was like, oh,
- 38:39Speaker 3: I don't even remember how the end of that game went.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yes you do, Yes, you do. So something flipped a
- 38:44Speaker 3: switch in the Georgia defense mentality and they started getting
- 38:47Speaker 3: after the quarterback, or at least started affecting the quarterback
- 38:50Speaker 3: a whole lot more. But I think that this is
- 38:53Speaker 3: the most dangerous quarterback in the playoffs. All the teams
- 38:56Speaker 3: included Ty Simpson, Julian Say and we got the Heisman
- 38:59Speaker 3: trou if you winner Fernando Mendoza in this tournament. If
- 39:02Speaker 3: there was one that just like scared me, it would
- 39:04Speaker 3: actually be Trinidad Chandlis because I don't know what his
- 39:06Speaker 3: ceiling is because he's ascended all year. He can do
- 39:09Speaker 3: more with legs, arms combined than anyone. And the only
- 39:11Speaker 3: one who would challenge that's really Dante Moore at Oregon.
- 39:14Speaker 3: So I think this is a really unique challenge for Georgia.
- 39:19Speaker 3: The reason I'm going to go Georgia and I actually
- 39:21Speaker 3: went Georgia and minus the points. I like Georgia minus
- 39:24Speaker 3: up to seven, so we can get six and a half.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Right now? Is I always just blindly trust Kirby in
- 39:29Speaker 3: these spots. Remember the Georgia Texas game when they played
- 39:32Speaker 3: him in Athens and at the time, like everyone was
- 39:34Speaker 3: trying to say, ooh man, Texas getting hot Texas coming
- 39:38Speaker 3: out of the bi like maybe this is the time,
- 39:39Speaker 3: and Georgia just shut him down. And my entire premise
- 39:43Speaker 3: for taking him is Kirby's not going to get beat
- 39:45Speaker 3: in the spot. And that's the same way I feel
- 39:46Speaker 3: about these games. He's earned so much like blind trust.
- 39:50Speaker 3: It's not blind, but he's earned so much trust in
- 39:52Speaker 3: my mind that I think about him in these spots.
- 39:54Speaker 3: This is where their season ended last year. That was
- 39:56Speaker 3: the Notre Dame game. They got beat like twenty three
- 39:58Speaker 3: to ten. That was Ducton's first start. Because Beck was
- 40:01Speaker 3: out for the year. You still got Gunner Stockton. But
- 40:04Speaker 3: now I've seen him in several big games. Tennessee game
- 40:07Speaker 3: earlier this year, they needed to score forty. They did.
- 40:10Speaker 3: They needed to score forty against Ole Miss. They did
- 40:12Speaker 3: the Alabama game. The first time around, he lost, but
- 40:15Speaker 3: then he played really really good football. The second time around.
- 40:17Speaker 3: The Texas game he played really well. But the Old
- 40:20Speaker 3: Miss game was his best game. So if Georgia can
- 40:23Speaker 3: win scoring twenty, yeah that's great. That probably is a
- 40:26Speaker 3: game that favors them. But if they need to get
- 40:27Speaker 3: up into the forties, I trust that they can. They're
- 40:30Speaker 3: playing on a fast track. They're getting Kolby Young back
- 40:32Speaker 3: their wide receiver. It's so weird because you normally get
- 40:35Speaker 3: to the playoffs and you're thinking it's a war of attrition.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Who's left. But you got some of these teams, Bama
- 40:40Speaker 3: getting Overton back, You're getting guys back. If you're Oregon,
- 40:43Speaker 3: you're getting guys back. If you're Georgia. Not to say
- 40:45Speaker 3: they're not banged up, cause they are, but I like
- 40:49Speaker 3: Georgia to be able to win. Probably still a pretty
- 40:52Speaker 3: high scoring game. Honestly, I don't hate over fifty five
- 40:56Speaker 3: and a half. Are we allowed to take a total
- 40:58Speaker 3: as our pick? I would to take over fifty five
- 41:01Speaker 3: and a half as my pick, so that's on the record,
- 41:04Speaker 3: but then off the record, just us talking. I would
- 41:06Speaker 3: also lay the points with Georgia.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Georgia's gotten a whole lot better throughout the year.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Everyone was knocking them for starting so starting slow and
- 41:15Speaker 2: the second half turning it on and just being able
- 41:17Speaker 2: to will themselves into beating people. I think George is
- 41:20Speaker 2: probably gonna win this game. I love the storyline of
- 41:24Speaker 2: the head coach being like, this is Charlie Weiss's offense.
- 41:26Speaker 2: You could tell the entire team is like, fuck Lane Kiffin,
- 41:29Speaker 2: We're gonna show him. And meanwhile, Lane Kiffin is at
- 41:32Speaker 2: the LSU Bowl game. He like leaves early and everyone's
- 41:35Speaker 2: up in arms about that he.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Just made his appearance.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but I just love the story of these kids
- 41:40Speaker 2: being like, we're a bunch of misfits. We have no
- 41:42Speaker 2: leaders stability taking place right now. Our guy left left
- 41:46Speaker 2: us during a playoff run. So I'm gonna take all
- 41:48Speaker 2: of Miss with the points. Everything you said about Trindadad Chambliss,
- 41:53Speaker 2: I don't have a whole lot to hang on my
- 41:55Speaker 2: heat other than that, because Georgia has turned it up
- 41:58Speaker 2: quite a bit and this is more of a hope
- 42:00Speaker 2: than it is a breakdown.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I would I would love to see an upset
- 42:04Speaker 1: with Old Miss, just in the college fool will play
- 42:06Speaker 1: up the spirit of the playoff and Old Miss his
- 42:08Speaker 1: story and everything else. I just for me, I'm taking
- 42:11Speaker 1: Georgia with the points just because it's more of the
- 42:13Speaker 1: Kirby Smart. It's like this team in here so many times,
- 42:16Speaker 1: so many times, right, Like this spot is part of
- 42:19Speaker 1: the process for Georgia, the preparation for playoffs and being
- 42:22Speaker 1: in massive bowl games or national titles, SEC championship, Like
- 42:25Speaker 1: it's always part of the process for Georgia and Ole
- 42:29Speaker 1: Miss being kind of being new in this spot and
- 42:32Speaker 1: also without with all the drama that surrounded them. I'm
- 42:35Speaker 1: just I'm leaning on Kirby Smart and Georgia to cover
- 42:37Speaker 1: in this game, especially the way they've played the last
- 42:39Speaker 1: like five weeks, defensively, coming alive, getting after the quarterback
- 42:43Speaker 1: Gunnar Stockton in these moments. Yeah, I like Georgia. I
- 42:47Speaker 1: like Georgia to cover for.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Both of Ever on Georgia, does the break hold any
- 42:52Speaker 2: weight for you when you kind of look at Oregon
- 42:53Speaker 2: and Ohio State last year?
- 42:55Speaker 1: It does? But again, Kirby Smart, like whatever break that
- 43:01Speaker 1: they've had, like well you've had like bowl preps during
- 43:03Speaker 1: bowl games, or you've had long breaks or a month
- 43:05Speaker 1: off at a time. Like to me, it's like Kirby
- 43:08Speaker 1: Smart just understands this situation at all times, year in
- 43:12Speaker 1: and year out, to where anybody who walks in that building,
- 43:14Speaker 1: in that program as a freshman, they just this is
- 43:18Speaker 1: all that they've known, so they know when their head
- 43:20Speaker 1: coach is gonna be hard on them when they might
- 43:21Speaker 1: be getting, you know, an off day because of injuries.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Even though Kirby Smart, you got an injured team, you
- 43:26Speaker 1: gott what a scared team? What do you say? A
- 43:28Speaker 1: few weeks ago before. It's like when they were talking
- 43:30Speaker 1: about if you're injured and you don't practice, you have
- 43:33Speaker 1: a you end up having a scared team. You end
- 43:34Speaker 1: up having a scared team. Like I just I just
- 43:36Speaker 1: believe in Kirby Smart. So it does a little bit.
- 43:39Speaker 1: But again, it's like Oregon that was orgon Dan Lannings
- 43:42Speaker 1: is kind of their first experience in that moment and
- 43:45Speaker 1: coming off a very pissed off Ohio State team losing
- 43:47Speaker 1: the Michigan h thumping Tennessee. Then they get Oregon where
- 43:51Speaker 1: Oregon's had zero prep. It's kind of the first year
- 43:53Speaker 1: of this twelve team playoff. But again with Kirby Smart
- 43:57Speaker 1: that I just I don't really have much doubt that
- 43:59Speaker 1: he's probably handles it as good as he possibly can
- 44:02Speaker 1: coming off that sec time.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say, like my answer is, yeah, with
- 44:07Speaker 3: the teams coming off the buy, it's just a blanket
- 44:10Speaker 3: concern for me. I never know. I could say the
- 44:13Speaker 3: same thing about Indiana, I could say the same thing
- 44:14Speaker 3: about Oregon. I'd say the same thing about Georgia here,
- 44:18Speaker 3: I just never know. And there have been stretches of
- 44:21Speaker 3: Mike Bobo's career where slow starts have haunted them. There
- 44:24Speaker 3: have been stretches this year where Georgia struggled with that.
- 44:26Speaker 3: It was a little more early in the season. But
- 44:28Speaker 3: then the other thing I think you got to avoid,
- 44:31Speaker 3: like the recency bias a little bit. Of the last
- 44:34Speaker 3: two games you saw Georgia play was Georgia Tech and Alabama,
- 44:37Speaker 3: and neither one of them had like an existent offense
- 44:39Speaker 3: at the time they played Georgia, and so Georgia just
- 44:42Speaker 3: shut them both down. And that could fool you a
- 44:44Speaker 3: little bit into not thinking highly of the defense. I
- 44:48Speaker 3: think highly of the defense, but maybe overinflating it a
- 44:50Speaker 3: little bit. And then all of a sudden you face
- 44:52Speaker 3: a different challenge and what a first two possessions here
- 44:55Speaker 3: for Ole miss are the same way that previous game
- 44:57Speaker 3: started and it's fourteen to nothing. So then the other thing.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I don't know that this is able to be quantified.
- 45:04Speaker 3: I don't want to overlook this because I was just
- 45:05Speaker 3: thinking about this. So this game last year, Sugar Bowl
- 45:07Speaker 3: last year for Georgia specifically, think about this experience. There's
- 45:12Speaker 3: a terrorist attack in New Orleans, so they bump the
- 45:15Speaker 3: game back. I think a day Kirby Smart's dad dies
- 45:20Speaker 3: while he's at the game while he's in New Orleans
- 45:23Speaker 3: for the Sugar Bowl, and then from a purely athletic standpoint,
- 45:26Speaker 3: their season gets ended. So going back to New Orleans
- 45:30Speaker 3: a year later, like, what must that feel like for them?
- 45:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:32Speaker 3: What must that feel like for him? That cannot You're
- 45:35Speaker 3: glad you're there, But like from a competitive PTSD sort
- 45:40Speaker 3: of standpoint, that's got to do a number on you.
- 45:42Speaker 3: It pales in comparison to what people who are actually
- 45:44Speaker 3: victims of the terrorist attack I had to deal with, obviously,
- 45:47Speaker 3: but in football terms, that can't be the easiest trip.
- 45:49Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure there were three other semi final or
- 45:52Speaker 3: quarter final spots they would have preferred to go if
- 45:54Speaker 3: they had their choice. But here we are New Year's Night.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good point. A lot of options over Ole,
- 46:01Speaker 1: miss the points Georgia to cover.
- 46:04Speaker 2: This might actually this is separation Sugar Bowl, second separation
- 46:08Speaker 2: Sugar Bowl.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Not Oregon. We're not going to Oregon yet, correct?
- 46:13Speaker 3: I would go hang Oregon, Okay, let's go Organ.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Talk about the Orange Bowl. Now, Oregon versus Texas Tech
- 46:19Speaker 2: were the same. Oregon favored two and a half total
- 46:23Speaker 2: points in the game is fifty one and.
- 46:25Speaker 3: A half mm that dropped, didn't it? Wow?
- 46:29Speaker 2: Okay, carry on, Dan Lanning back in the playoffs versus
- 46:35Speaker 2: Texas Tech, a team that people say bought their entire
- 46:38Speaker 2: They bought their entire team, would they, Joe?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Would they not?
- 46:41Speaker 2: And bringing the Bay twelfth get themselves a buy. They're
- 46:44Speaker 2: in complete uncharged territory. Oregon's at least been in this
- 46:46Speaker 2: position before. Number one run defense in the country. Yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 2: m hm, check out Agaz.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Oregon one of the best run offenses in the country.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Dante Moore had.
- 46:58Speaker 2: A nice tune up game against a G five team
- 46:59Speaker 2: that will really be named. Since then, every starter has transferred.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Yeah, only the only the logo remains.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Then Dante Moore looked great.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Will oh before before you go oh no, I don't
- 47:15Speaker 3: know who this is from, it says, don't forget Oregon
- 47:18Speaker 3: spent a fair amount of money in the portal as well.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Get our name out of your mouth. I don't last
- 47:23Speaker 3: far it was necessary Wow. Yeah, yeah, so Oregon is
- 47:26Speaker 3: pretty active in the portal as well. Just before the
- 47:29Speaker 3: whole world claims that Texas Tech a bunch of portal merchants.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of money more than Texas Tech, right,
- 47:37Speaker 2: that's what some say. People are saying that these are
- 47:39Speaker 2: not public records.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I can't folly you this information.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Right, this is all allegedly Oregon doesn't have Nike and
- 47:45Speaker 2: Phil Knight, right, Yeah, I'm full forty dollars into their roster.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all allegedly.
- 47:52Speaker 3: It's a lofty number. That is a lofty number in
- 47:55Speaker 3: this economy.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Is it culture or is it is it Landing or
- 47:58Speaker 2: is it the narrow you know, because you kind of
- 48:01Speaker 2: lean Texas Tech because I haven't heard a whole lot
- 48:03Speaker 2: of Joey MacGuire saying a whole lot about Dan Lanning
- 48:06Speaker 2: kind of kept it quiet a.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Little bit, and Landing said this game should be in Lubbock.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Which is I think a great move.
- 48:12Speaker 3: And also just a is it bold face?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Lie?
- 48:15Speaker 3: I never knew, always kind of skim you don't want
- 48:18Speaker 3: to play this game in Lubbock. He's saying it because
- 48:20Speaker 3: he knows that it can't happen, and he knows that's
- 48:23Speaker 3: what the.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Spirit of college football needs is everybody who have a
- 48:26Speaker 1: bye get the host of playoff.
- 48:27Speaker 3: He is right about that. I'm not disagreeing with him
- 48:29Speaker 3: in principle, don't you wish this game was in love. Yes,
- 48:32Speaker 3: I'm just saying that if he was in Lubbic, I doubt.
- 48:35Speaker 2: I doubt.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Landing opens this presser and says, ladies and gentlemen, tell
- 48:38Speaker 3: you what I'm really happy about. We're going to Lubbock, Texas.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Isn't it great?
- 48:42Speaker 3: Don't you love it? I highly doubt that would happen.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Yeah, McGuire's kind of he kept it quiet.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he has.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I think. So there's a little something I got. No, yeah, stop,
- 48:54Speaker 1: because when I think of Joey McGuire, I think of
- 48:57Speaker 1: Texas Tech. You know my love for Jacob Rodriguez, his squads,
- 49:00Speaker 1: the physique, yeah, the mustache, the everything that Run Defense
- 49:04Speaker 1: has going on, going against a victim of the deep state.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Victim of the deep state. Yes, ye had a.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Cat that sat there on national television and hit the
- 49:13Speaker 2: crossbar right before.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Got a lot of juice.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Just yeah, he's got a lot of momentum, a.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Lot of momentum. He's got a lot of juice, a
- 49:19Speaker 1: lot of swag. But I cannot help but think that
- 49:23Speaker 1: Oregon has been working for this spot for an entire year.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I cannot help but think about Dan Lanning, wake it
- 49:30Speaker 1: up in a cold sweat, over and over at least
- 49:33Speaker 1: once a week throughout this entire year, no matter what
- 49:35Speaker 1: cliche bullshit. He tells the press conference on how he's
- 49:39Speaker 1: felt since that ass whipping that the Ohio State Buckeys
- 49:42Speaker 1: and Ryan Day gave his little ass a year ago.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Because they are in this spot, they were in this
- 49:47Speaker 1: round that they were a year ago. This is everything
- 49:50Speaker 1: that they've worked towards. This is where there's their season
- 49:52Speaker 1: is supposed to start. And I also can't get out
- 49:55Speaker 1: of my head the letter I got. No, you didn't
- 49:58Speaker 1: get a lot in the mail last night. There is
- 50:00Speaker 1: was it overnighted or was it standard business? It was
- 50:03Speaker 1: just it was just folded like this sitting in my maulbow.
- 50:05Speaker 1: You got to drive by.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Wait, this was not in an envelope. No, there was
- 50:08Speaker 3: no postage.
- 50:09Speaker 1: No listen to make sure.
- 50:11Speaker 3: I just want to authenticate it. I just want to see.
- 50:14Speaker 3: So this is a this is a letter, This is handwritten. Yeah,
- 50:22Speaker 3: all right, continue, it's real.
- 50:24Speaker 1: So I don't know who it's from.
- 50:26Speaker 2: You guys can tell me because I'm leading, I'm leaning
- 50:28Speaker 2: tech right now, Let's not go there. Keep their mouth shut.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Let's hear it out.
- 50:32Speaker 1: First, knock, knock, who's there? Red Raider? Red Raider? Who?
- 50:40Speaker 1: How many times do you think that pussy has asked
- 50:42Speaker 1: his wife would shoes he should wear this weekend? What's
- 50:46Speaker 1: his excuse going to be when it's sugar Daddy Phil Night?
- 50:49Speaker 1: What's his excuse going to be to a sugar Daddy
- 50:51Speaker 1: Phil Knight when he loses with the forty million dollars
- 50:54Speaker 1: plus roster? So it is true. Don't forget the type
- 50:57Speaker 1: of guy he is. He claps from the plane. He
- 51:01Speaker 1: was the kid that were that would remind the teacher
- 51:04Speaker 1: that homework was due. He plugs his nose when he
- 51:06Speaker 1: jumps in the pool. He even plugs his nose when
- 51:09Speaker 1: he gets in the shower. No, get off his meat, Willie.
- 51:13Speaker 1: See how's that big ten butt taste? Red Raider fan
- 51:17Speaker 1: from for Life, Joey Mack could be anywhe.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Wrestle Mania seventeen, Steve Austin versus the Rot, Austin turns
- 51:31Speaker 3: heel wins the WWF. Now in the Championship, Jim Ross
- 51:35Speaker 3: is sitting at ringside and he's just screaming. I thought
- 51:38Speaker 3: I knew that man. I thought I knew Steve Austin.
- 51:42Speaker 3: I didn't know how he felt at the time because
- 51:44Speaker 3: I was a kid. But I kind of know that
- 51:45Speaker 3: feeling now because I know Joey McGuire, or I thought
- 51:47Speaker 3: I did. I thought I knew Joey McGuire. I thought
- 51:51Speaker 3: I knew Joey McGuire. I thought I knew that man.
- 51:53Speaker 3: But the Joey McGuire I know Joey McGuire one point
- 51:57Speaker 3: zero would not have done that. But joe McGuire two point.
- 52:01Speaker 4: Oh dark Joey playoff, Joey playoff, Joey playoff Joey Mack
- 52:06Speaker 4: apparently has peeled off a layer and what was underneath
- 52:10Speaker 4: is something more terrifying than we could have ever imagined.
- 52:13Speaker 3: This is Buffalo Bill Dan landing down in the basement
- 52:16Speaker 3: in some pit. He just told Dan to put the
- 52:18Speaker 3: lotion on the skin.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Yeah, and it.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Sounds like Dan has no other option.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Would shoes you wearing, Danny boy?
- 52:24Speaker 3: Oh, that's terrible.
- 52:26Speaker 2: What if Dan just shows up in a pair of
- 52:27Speaker 2: black Jays, no color, nothing on him.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I'm taking organ.
- 52:34Speaker 2: You know. You know I said before that note, I
- 52:36Speaker 2: was leaning Texas Tech, and the main reason was is
- 52:39Speaker 2: no one was saying that Joey McGuire was keeping it quiet.
- 52:42Speaker 2: People from Texas Tech were being polite about organ But
- 52:45Speaker 2: after that letter, man, here's what I'll say if that letter.
- 52:50Speaker 2: If Dan Lenning sees that letter and then loses the
- 52:53Speaker 2: Texas Tech, that program might be done.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Not only loses the Texas Tech but loses in this
- 53:00Speaker 1: spot two years in a row. I'm gonna ride with
- 53:06Speaker 1: my boy. We're kinda fake noise. We're gonna get about
- 53:09Speaker 1: Dan Lanning and not being able to win the big
- 53:10Speaker 1: one or would it.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Be fake at that point? Got lost lost Indiana?
- 53:15Speaker 1: I fake in the sense of Dan Franklin. Do you
- 53:18Speaker 1: start coming forward? That's what people will say, Dan.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Franklin, don't do that.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Danny Franklin, Danny Franklin, don't do that.
- 53:25Speaker 2: I'm not doing it.
- 53:26Speaker 3: I'm just saying that's people will do it.
- 53:27Speaker 1: People will do that's fair. You're just saying if they lose,
- 53:32Speaker 1: some of the first tweets we will see on X
- 53:34Speaker 1: is gonna be Danny Franklin.
- 53:35Speaker 3: The AI, Dan Lannings face, James Franklin's body. Yeah, don't
- 53:40Speaker 3: do that anyway.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 53:42Speaker 2: I would never do that to my guy. I want
- 53:43Speaker 2: to be very clear in that I would never do
- 53:45Speaker 2: that to my guy. But if that letter holds true
- 53:50Speaker 2: and Dexas Tech wins, God forbids covers this tiny little.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Line, which they would do if they wont don't don't
- 53:56Speaker 3: take Texas. Don't take Texas Tech to win, but Oregon
- 53:58Speaker 3: to cover. We've gone down that road once this year.
- 54:02Speaker 3: We don't want to take the dog on the money line.
- 54:03Speaker 3: But the favorite cover.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Was who was that? Iowa was that I was stayed.
- 54:09Speaker 3: I don't think it's important.
- 54:11Speaker 1: My brain doesn't go back that far.
- 54:12Speaker 3: It's important. I think it's important that you didn't smile
- 54:15Speaker 3: a lit when you said it said yeah.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I just sat there and was like, this is I'm staying.
- 54:20Speaker 3: I'm taking dog money line. I'm laying the points, but
- 54:24Speaker 3: I'm taking the dog on the money line.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Give me an organ, give me loyalty, give me Dan
- 54:30Speaker 2: Lanning to get this monkey off his back.
- 54:32Speaker 1: I'm surprised you're not going with the Red Raiders.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:34Speaker 2: I was thinking about you even before the collegewall play.
- 54:37Speaker 2: If you're like, I kind of want I think they're
- 54:40Speaker 2: a little bit of a dark horse. I thought that,
- 54:44Speaker 2: but you told me something.
- 54:46Speaker 1: What was it thing?
- 54:46Speaker 3: You told me that I'm taking an organ?
- 54:49Speaker 1: No, but the gap integrity just whenever some gids said
- 54:53Speaker 1: to him, there's a look that he has in his
- 54:55Speaker 1: eyes where it ain't coming. He said so many different
- 54:58Speaker 1: things like you got to help him out, ga ga.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah. Well, so Taylor comes to me to break
- 55:03Speaker 3: down line play a whole lot. And so we were
- 55:06Speaker 3: talking about gap integrity the other day, and we were
- 55:08Speaker 3: talking about just the style of play that Texas Tech
- 55:11Speaker 3: has incorporated very effectively in the Big Twelve this year,
- 55:15Speaker 3: and their their stat profiles like a silo, it's just
- 55:17Speaker 3: Big twelve teams because that's all they played Oregon State.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Both of them played Oregon State back to back weeks.
- 55:21Speaker 3: There's a mutual opponent here and it was pretty much
- 55:24Speaker 3: the same outcome. So then elsewhere you're wondering, all right,
- 55:28Speaker 3: what did they do well? They did everything they did
- 55:29Speaker 3: in the Big twelve, all right, Now, they blew everyone out.
- 55:32Speaker 3: When they had their starting quarterback in Big Twelve play,
- 55:35Speaker 3: no one ran the ball on Kansas State ran it
- 55:37Speaker 3: for one to twenty six. That was the best rushing
- 55:39Speaker 3: output anyone had against Texas Tech all year. And yet
- 55:43Speaker 3: the over under on total rushing yards for Oregon is
- 55:46Speaker 3: one forty two and a half. Well it was, and
- 55:48Speaker 3: it's one forty four after what I did to it.
- 55:51Speaker 3: So I attacked that number because I actually think the
- 55:54Speaker 3: biggest edge in this game is Organ's going to be
- 55:56Speaker 3: able to run the ball better than anyone has on
- 55:58Speaker 3: Texas Tech. I fully understand that Joey, author of that note,
- 56:04Speaker 3: Willaged will be taking this and I'm not even alleging
- 56:08Speaker 3: that they're going to put it in the hype video
- 56:10Speaker 3: because earlier this year I thought Kansas would cover against
- 56:12Speaker 3: Texas Tech foolishly. I was pretty vocal about it on
- 56:18Speaker 3: the show that week, and then Texas Tech just ran
- 56:21Speaker 3: it up on Kansas. And then I got a text,
- 56:23Speaker 3: not a letter, a text, and the text was from
- 56:26Speaker 3: one Joey Maguire and it was a video link to
- 56:31Speaker 3: the video that they had showed the team the Friday
- 56:33Speaker 3: night before the game, and my prediction was laced throughout
- 56:37Speaker 3: the video. They did everything but put a clown nose
- 56:40Speaker 3: on me. And so I understand what I'm about to
- 56:44Speaker 3: say is going to be used. It's going to be leverage.
- 56:47Speaker 3: It's going to be weaponized inside the walls of the
- 56:49Speaker 3: Texas Tech hotel down there in Miami. But I don't
- 56:51Speaker 3: care because I really do think Organ's going to be
- 56:54Speaker 3: able to run the ball. And if they can do that,
- 56:55Speaker 3: they have full balance and they'll be able to operate offensively,
- 56:58Speaker 3: and they'll put Texas Tech in the spot no one
- 57:00Speaker 3: else has, and that's in a dog fight in the
- 57:02Speaker 3: fourth quarter or maybe even having to play from behind. Now,
- 57:05Speaker 3: that doesn't mean they can't. It just means that they've
- 57:07Speaker 3: been so good this year they haven't been in that spot.
- 57:10Speaker 3: And I think they're gonna get put in that spot.
- 57:12Speaker 3: And I think what we saw Ohio State due to
- 57:14Speaker 3: Oregon last year sort of hit the reset button in
- 57:17Speaker 3: Oregon's mind and everything was built on peaking at the
- 57:21Speaker 3: right time because Oregon just kind of peaked during the
- 57:23Speaker 3: season last year and then whatever was left got served
- 57:25Speaker 3: up to Ohio State, and Ohio State peaked at the
- 57:27Speaker 3: right time. I think Oregon's gonna peak at the right time,
- 57:30Speaker 3: and I think they're gonna go down there and they're
- 57:31Speaker 3: gonna win, and they're gonna look in the bus rear
- 57:34Speaker 3: view mirror as they pull out of the parking lot
- 57:36Speaker 3: knowing we could be right back in this building on
- 57:39Speaker 3: January nineteenth. I think it is because where they're playing
- 57:42Speaker 3: this quarterfinal game is where they played the national championship game.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Because college football playoff system is stupid, so you play
- 57:49Speaker 3: in some buildings twice. God forbid, we played these second
- 57:51Speaker 3: round games on campus. We couldn't have that. That's got
- 57:53Speaker 3: to change this, yeah, dude, some of the get in prices.
- 57:56Speaker 3: So before I go, Oregon wins. My favorite prop of
- 58:00Speaker 3: the playoffs is Oregon over total rushing yards one hundred
- 58:03Speaker 3: and forty two and a half, which I think is
- 58:04Speaker 3: one forty four and a half. Now, it's my biggest
- 58:07Speaker 3: wager of the playoffs. Period. We're gonna have to all
- 58:11Speaker 3: hit that period.
- 58:12Speaker 1: We're gonna have to hit that.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Now, the get in prices for these games, something's got
- 58:18Speaker 3: to be done. There are rumors on the streets that
- 58:20Speaker 3: a couple of these games won't even be at capacity.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Cotton Bowl, which we're about to break down, Orange Bowl,
- 58:26Speaker 3: some of the get in prices are under one hundred dollars.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Rose Bowl. It's going to rain like five inches, but
- 58:30Speaker 3: still get in prices insanely cheap out there. Now you
- 58:32Speaker 3: may be thinking, oh, man, you're the future commissioner, what
- 58:34Speaker 3: do you have against affordable ticket prices? It's affordable because
- 58:37Speaker 3: there's no demand, because everyone's looking at the game saying,
- 58:41Speaker 3: why would I pay money to go to a quarterfinal
- 58:43Speaker 3: game one thousand miles away? If we win, I'll just
- 58:47Speaker 3: go to the next round games. And if we lose,
- 58:49Speaker 3: I just paid money to go watch our season end.
- 58:51Speaker 3: So either way, I don't want anything to do with that.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Whereas these games could be played in where Columbus and
- 58:57Speaker 3: Lubbock and Eugene and and uh Athens, that's where we
- 59:02Speaker 3: could be watching these games happen on New Year's Day?
- 59:06Speaker 1: Are you going any of these games?
- 59:07Speaker 3: I'm not going to a single quarterfinal game.
- 59:09Speaker 2: If these games were at the locations you were.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Just saying, multiple, How were we going to multiple? I'm
- 59:14Speaker 3: with you, Yeah, all right?
- 59:17Speaker 1: He said, none of them?
- 59:18Speaker 3: None of them?
- 59:18Speaker 2: Organ organ, organ, organ, big organ, how big big, like thirty.
- 59:30Speaker 2: What's the model say about this game?
- 59:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, I'm going to.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Minus four and a half.
- 59:33Speaker 1: That's good enough for me.
- 59:36Speaker 3: One, yeah, four and a half.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Oregon move the line to minus nine
- 59:43Speaker 1: and a half.
- 59:44Speaker 3: So ALLT line in it, ALLT line. You're gonna screenshot
- 59:48Speaker 3: that and send it to me.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, he'll tweet it. I'll fucking put it
- 59:52Speaker 1: out there.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I'll fuck.

- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the week.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Every weekend's got games. Well, one fits just right. This
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: is the True Classic game of the week. We got
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Will's favorite Miami versus Ohio State. It is at the
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Cotton Bowl. Say his favorite at minus nine and a half.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Total points in that game is forty one and a half.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: You weren't at this game.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Miami beat Texas A, and m at Texas A and M.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I think the score in the game was ten to
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: three three reamy one.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Miami won.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: That's why they're playing in this game. And kicker missed
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: what four field goals?
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I don't put that all on him. We were playing
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: in a hurricane. You felt it more than I did.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: You were way higher than I was.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it was was still the psyche.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Do you think so?
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: And stadium goes straight up and down like we were
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: on at the second highest level and it won that
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: windy for us and we were above the field goal posts. Yeah,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: so it wasn't like there was a little bore tax.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: You know better than me. And even if not Psyche,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: if he happens to watch this show and he just
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: hears that, then that could play into the site, should
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I be we should put a.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Spoiler up for him, like if you're the Miami kicker,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: don't watch this part of the segment.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Look all right, So last night I watched in an
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: NFL quarter, So that's why I'm talking to the NFL. Wow,
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Atlanta needed a fifty one yarder. I remember that.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I think the thought that dude just piped it like
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: as good a looking kick as you could possibly kick.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I know a lot of kicks every week, but you
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: split the uprights the Miami game, I thought that dude
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: drilled one, like wouldn't change a thing about the way
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: the ball came off the foot, about the snap, about
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: the place, about the hold, and it's on its way
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: and then Win takes it, which is not going to
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: happen because I have the forecast in my hand. Is
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: a kickoff in Jerry world? What is it? Seventy degrees
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: zero mile per hour? Wins?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Wow? Is that because it's not even to be sunny?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: That the little windows aren't even gonna come into play?
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: The windows because it's a night game? So who cares?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: That makes sense?
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: So I don't worry about special teams. I don't worry
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: about kicking from Miami. What I do worry about is
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Carson Beck. But should I? But should I worry about
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Carson Beck? I'm working on a theory here, and my
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: theory is that Miami realized their teeth were clenched pretty
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: tight defensively in that A and M game, and the
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: only way they thought to themselves that we're going to
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: lose this is if we give it away, And we
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: would give it away by putting the ball in the
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: air and Carson Beck throwing some picks, and I just
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: think they throw atle play calling down. I'd you will
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: not convin me, put it in another way, you will
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: not convince me that Carson Beck is a liability offensively
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: for Miami. If he is, they're going to get smoked
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: in this game. So if I'm wrong, then it's it's
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Ohio State altline. It's like Ohio State big. I don't
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: think that he's played a ton of ball. He's played
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: in several big games. He's been a weapon more times
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: than not. I'm not saying like top five future draft
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: pick or anything like that, but I'm saying I think
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: they can lean on him to make plays here. And
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: I don't know. Man, there's so much talk about the
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: physicality with Miami, with good reason. It's a really physical team.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: It's a really physically impressive team. Ohio State twitter is
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: some of the worst in the world at hearing what
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: you don't say. Earlier this year, I go to the
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: Miami FSU game, I say, man, there's there's no team
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: in the country that physically looks like Miami. They took
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: it to mean there's no team better than Miami in
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: the country, which I didn't say. Ironically, these two teams
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: play each other. Now, I'm still gonna say, look at
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: it on the field, there's no team that looks like Miami.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Doesn't mean they'll win the game though. They're a nine
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: and a half point dog for a reason. But if
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: you want to get like really simplistic about it. You
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: do the O line versus D line edge, you do
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: the D line versus O line edge. There is at
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: least an argument to be made that Miami has a
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: two way edge. There slide edges like fifty two, forty eight,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: fifty five, forty five, But there, I think you can
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: make that argument. I haven't said that about anyone else
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Ohio State played this year. I'll just say that quarterback experience,
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: it edge goes to Miami. Who has the better quarterback?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: That one.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: We could debate a little bit more and it's really situational,
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: but I ended up, well, I think so.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: I think so Julian sand has two aliens he throws to.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: That's true. If he throws it to, that would be
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: the argument. Hey, you know who's calling plays in this game? Offensively?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: X factor?
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Ryan Day? Yeah, yeah, solid up and comer in the
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: coaching profession, Ryan Day. Friend friend of your program, friend.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Of the show, friend of the show. Nope, person, not
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a friend of Taylor. Taylor does respect randw Yeah, respect,
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: there's a respect level. But if I'm in Columbus, Ohio,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: There's a respect level. Yeah for him, I have a
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: respect level. For Ryan Dale, there's no doubt about it.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Not quite enough to look him in the eyes on
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: the camera, but there's a respect. You know.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: You know damn well how that bus works. You bite
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: your tongue. I know how that bust.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: They don't. They don't know.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: You explained it and me that monitor this offseason we got.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: I got a right of the camp bag monitor.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Look it up the whole time.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: I mean, I am going to take Ohio State in
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: the game for the same reasons I took Georgia against
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Ole Miss because I don't want to overlook the staff
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: factor here in the staffing agent having been there before.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: It's a big game program. This is unfamiliar territory for
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: all of Miami. I don't really care. Like nineties, early
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: two thousands, Nobody on that staff in their current role,
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: let me put it that way, has been this far
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: out on the tree limb. Nobody on that roster. The
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: only one is really Carson Beck. He's been there with Georgia.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: That's why I think he's a strength in this game
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: for them. It's the biggest point spread in the playoffs,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: and it's the game that actually intrigues me the most
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: because if you if you start seeing the game get
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: bogged down, it just spreads out the window. The two
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: best defenses that I watched Ohio State play this year
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: were probably Texas and Indiana, and they scored fourteen and ten.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Michigan defense, Yeah, but they took care of Michigan pretty handily.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: We don't say it like that, but what if it's
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: that kind of game? But really, what if Miami needs
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: seventeen points to win? I don't think it'll be that
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: kind of game. For the record, like, I think Ohio
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: State will probably learn from their mistakes in terms of
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: approach against Indiana, and if they go down, they're going
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: to go down swinging with those wide receivers. And that's
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: why I think Ohio State will win because I think
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: they'll get plenty enough offensive juice here to where they
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: don't condense the game and insert so much variance into
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: the equation they don't let Miami take over. Also, Ohio
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: State is not backing down physically from anyone, so it's
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: not like I think Miami's going to overwhelm them with physicality.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: So wouldn't shock me if Miami won. Will take Miami
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: in the points one possession game, ish, I will take
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Ohio State to win, though, which I think a lot
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: of people are going to do as a cop out
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: in this game.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: By the way, take Miami with the points. Yeah, I
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: think Ohio State's gonna blow them.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I think Ohow State's gonna beat my three touchdown run
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: it up big, yeah, big Compton big.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: What's the thinking?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: So my thinking is, I think you're right with Miami.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I think this game is gonna come down to Carson
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: back like Miami's gonna Mark Fletcher is gonna have to
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: have a big game. But dude, I honestly believe that
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: they're gonna have success running the football against Ohwa State,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Like this is one of the best Ohio State defenses
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: that they've had. They're giving up like, what eight eight
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: points a game.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: They haven't given up more than sixteen points all year.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they're giving up yeah, like eight point the average,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: giving up like eight points a game. And then I
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: think about offensively, what happened to Ohio State in Indiana
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: going against Miami, who, by the way, their defensive line
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: then get after your ass their secondary. I loved watching
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: them fly around to the football against A and M.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: They got Keyante Scott back from last from his injury.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: They had him back in the and M game, so
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: he's getting his feet wet. The secondary's opportunistic. I do
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: love Ohio State this challenge going up against Miami's defense,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: but I think Ohio State giving up five sacks to
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Indiana is one of those things to where it's like
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: them losing to Michigan last year. I feel like it's
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: kind of the best thing to happen to them in
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: the Big Ten Championship, right before they get into into
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: the College World Playoffs, because the offensive line is going
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to be challenged. They get to live in that watching
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the tape, seeing the five sacks, get coached that hard,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and then coach Ryan Day calling the plays. I think
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: those are the two X factors for me. Is Ohio
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: State giving up five sacks Indiana, which is the right
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: thing to happen to them in that game. And then
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: also Ryan Dave calling plays offensively because we will not
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: have seen the wrinkles that he's going to put in
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the offensive strategy against Miami until the game is played,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: which I do think I think gives them an edge
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: with the heartline going to the USF and everything else.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: So those are my two factors.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: I like everything you just said. That's a big reason
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: why him to get a house stays well as Brian Hartline.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: He with Ohio State right now. I thought I saw
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: a clip of that. He's still in the building. But
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: he's not going to be play no.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: I know that.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: You know he's a.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Great wide receivers coach. He knows the offense. It's a
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: big asset for them to have. I agree with everything
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: you said. I just only think the X factor from
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Miami is the defensive one. If they have the ability
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: to shrink the game down, then you don't have to
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: worry about Carson Beck possibly throwing multiple interceptions. You can
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: just run the ball, dink and dunk like kind of
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: chop away. They did a text A and M, but
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: that only happens if Reuben Bainn and company can get
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: after it. But because of the Indiana game and them
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: taking five sacks then waking up to a challenge taking place,
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Ryan Day with his play calling, you know, respect, ma'am
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: very creative in his play calling. He's going to have
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: mismatches everywhere. He's going to motion into mismatches. And that's
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: why I believe Julian saying card del Tay and Jeremiah
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Smith are going to have massive days.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: Do you think they'll be aggressive wire to wire offensively?
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: I do, so let me paint you a scenario. I
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: think that's the approach they're going to go in the
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: game with if they're aggressive early, like everyone thinks aggressive
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: play calling, and they never assume the risk with aggressive
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: play calling, like that's the benefit of being a fan.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: You just think, oh, what what could happen? Whereas coaches
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: have to think about what could happen on the other side.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: What if they're aggressive and they turn the ball over
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: first drive and they know, hey, we got a good defense,
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: we got a good ground game. We could revert to
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: just grinding this thing out. Do you think they go
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: back into the comfort zone of doing that or do
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: you think they still push the pedal down even if
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: things go sideways open and drive.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Right they look at the Michigan game, That's what I
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: was just going to say, Like, you have a perfect
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: example of that. The first drive, the first throw of
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: the game, they run, Jeremia Smith runs a little crow route,
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: gets picked off, and they still hold them to three true.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: And then they come back and this put their their
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: foot even more on the pedal pressent even harder, and
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: that is I think as much pressure was in that
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Michigan Ohio State game because of the last four years,
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: and then for just not go back to hey, let's
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: you know, take a little off saying let's run the
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: ball a little bit. They were just as aggressive after
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: that first play the rest of the game. And I
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: think if they get in that position in the first
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: couple of drives, nothing changes for them. In defense, bro
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: and Julian Sane has done such a great job of
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: taking care of the football. Well, he's also throwing routes
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: on air, which is you know, yeah too Alien. It's
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: not his fault because they have so much separation, but
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: he's done an amazing job of like taking care of
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: the ball and seeing coverages.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Not getting you know this new say is still a
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: stud stud Yeah, starting quarterback for Ohio State. Young guy.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: He has thrown to aliens right, and we get to
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: talk again. We get to talk about all the offense
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: in the world with every game a quarterback, play, run game,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: everything else. Who which team has wide receivers And it's
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: hard to always prop up and talk highly of a
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: defense in Ohio State has that defense? Yeah, so I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: love Ohio State and it goes back to it.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Every time we've breaking down Ohio State's games throughout the
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: year on this show, it's been Matt Patricia and teams
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: have to get into a position of we have to
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: see what Matt Patricia is going to give us before
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: we can truly have our own game.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it terrifies me. They interviewed him yesterday at media
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: days for the Cotton Bowl and he laughed during the
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: answer as he said, we'll probably show some things we
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: haven't seen this year. We'll just have to get to
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: the game to find out what that is is. I'm
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: not Carson Beck, but if I were, that would keep
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: me up about fifteen minutes longer tonight than I was
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: gonna stay up.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I mean, the Keys are stopped to run and take
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: away Tony. That's true, that's the take away Tony and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: then whatever he has creatively going on patriciaan that defense.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I think that's where again the game is going to
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: come into the lap of Carson Beck and Kenney show
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: up in the big moment or come back from behind
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: against Oho State force mkick three.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: If they ever get the opportunity to.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: I think Elijah Loften tight end for Miami if they
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: were to win, has to have like a sneaky strong
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: stat line game here. Yeah, because somebody outside of Malachi
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Tony has to step up. I mean, the reason Ohio
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: State's so good is because no one's really gonna shut
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: Jeremiah Smith down. But theoretically, if you did, they always
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: have two or three other ones they could shoulder the
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: load of a game Miami. I'm not gonna say they
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: don't have that. They haven't had that on paper this year.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: One last thing about the kicker. You were on the field,
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: you understood the win. I was up in the rafters.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: I felt the wind as well.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: Not so much though.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Everyone's to look at how many kicks the the kick
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: or missed in the text C A and M game
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: and we're gonna go.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: They're gonna go in the same thought process as.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: You're in a dome. There's no win nothing. But if
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: he misses that first kick, run him right back out there, buddy.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: The mental fortitude won't it'll be bad.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: I'm not saying it'll be good.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: But if he misses that first or second kick, if
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: they are given the opportunity or given the opportunity to
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: make it into the red zone, because I think Ohio
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: State has that ability to keep you on your side
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: of fifty for fifty minutes of that game.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: They have that type of potential.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: If you have him kick in the first quarter and
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: he misses this nine and a half should be a
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: lot bigger.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: You said the most points that Ohio State has given
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: up this year sixteen, right. You know what the Miami
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: total point over under just team points here is on
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: this game forty no, no, no, Miami team total just
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Miami fourteen and a half. It's fifteen and a half.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Where you're going under on that.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: May go over on it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And that means offensive showing.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: That means it means Ohio State winning this thing. Twenty
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: four to seventeen gets me a win, It gets me
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: a Miami cover, It gets an Ohio State outright win.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: I mean, twenty four to seventeen seems like a plausible
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: route for this game to go.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: I don't like the way that goes. Somethink it Ohio
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: State last night.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: And a half. Just let me let me ask this. Also,
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: the winner of this game goes to the Fiesta Bowl
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: to face the winner of Georgia versus Old Miss. What
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: do you think the odds are we get Miami Old
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Miss in court in this of my finals. It seems
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: so remote that it's the kind of thing that you
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: dismissed to the point where you say, man, watch that happen.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: Watch that end up be in the way this goes.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: And then on the other one, which would be the
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: main event. You know, if Dan landing in Oregon do
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: come out on top and I'm wrong, Rose Bowl, you
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: do know what that gives us in the right right
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: down the road in Atlanta, we get Son versus Father.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Dan Lanning versus Big Netty. That's what we need.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Those chances of that Old Miss game happening low, but
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: not low, but the same as me getting three Fantasy
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: championships in a row.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I gave you the numbers earlier. If Miami takes down Ahast,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: clearly right now they're the favorite to win the national title.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: But if Miami takes down.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: It's wide open.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: It's wide open.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Now, let me let me throw one more thing at you.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: What would happen? Well, let me let me back up.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: The Big Ten this year is viewed universally as the
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: best conference at the top right, which I agree with
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: so universally, I'm saying pretty universally, Like I mean, there
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: may be a guy in Tuoplo in Mississippi just machete
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: across the chest. SEC all your entire live show, all
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: the fans of your life shots, they hard. I think
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: they would disagree that the Big ten at the top
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: as the best. You screamed at some of the fans, Well,
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: they were being nasty, they were, And sometimes you have
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: to raise it. You have to elevate the voice a
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: little bit because so many people want to talk over
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: each other. You just got to get that high pitch.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: So I was just getting financial advice. You had all
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: kinds of obscenities year.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I think that was incredible.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: So the think about this all right, So there's always
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: like a possibility that you've just misread the room all year.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: The possibility is eliminated when you have a ton of
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: cross pollination, Like you have a ton of out of
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: conference versus out of conference. So in the SEC and
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: the ACC, we've got a ton of examples of out
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: of conference play to where you felt like you got
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: a pretty good read on the SEC and the ACC
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Big ten and Big twelve. There's not a lot of that,
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: but the Big Ten specifically, the best out of conference
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: win for the Big Ten this year was Ohio State
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: over Texas that's in Week one, fourteen to ten in Columbus.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: The next best out of conference when they had I think,
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: was Illinois overdue. So you're looking at what you're seeing
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: and you think your eyes are to you the truth.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: I'm admitting I think this too. I think Ohio State
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: and Oregon in Indiana at various points this year, maybe
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: even now, may have been better than anything the SEC
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: had to offer. There is always the possibility that you
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: were wrong, because there was a very incestuous, sort of
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: silo based stat profile. And the way you would know
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: you're wrong is early on, if Miami's doing something to
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: Ohio State you didn't think would happen. Maybe even they win,
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: but if it's just a close game. Then you turn
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: on the Orange Bowl the next morning and Texas Tech's
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: up thirteen to nothing. Then you turn on the Rose
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Bowl and Alabama upsets Indiana, and over the span of
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: less than twenty four hours, your entire worldview of what
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: the Big Ten was this year could crash in on you.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: So that's what I'm always careful of because we don't
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: have enough out of conference games in college football. I
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: wish we have more of them, so you still get
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: to the end of the road sometimes and you just
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: have to think, you know about these conferences. That's a
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: good point, you know what I mean? William, Oh, yeah,
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: I know what you mean.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: He's sizing it up. He sizing he's also in an article.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: We are, but he's got some sec bias. We're both
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: big ten guys.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: What did you score? What did you score?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Plus twenty something?
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: What was I I wasn't twenty some of them some
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: of the me.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: You were right next to each other.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Someone, what is what is this article?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: There was a there's an article I believe it was
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: from Awful Announcing and they basically tear They basically ranked
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: all the bias in perceived bias perceived bias in college media.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Higher numbers worse or better. Higher numbers are, higher numbers
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: are worse. Like they had them. They had like an
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: unbiased list that was like from what zero to five
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: or something like that, like say they have a point
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: biased or something or no bias at all.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: These are fine bombs. Number one, I think, wasn't he
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: Number one? Like no, no, no, no, with most bias
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: like plus ninety percent SEC bias.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Right, and you guys are both twenty What was I?
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: You were like thirty seven. I'll take that number. Big ten,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: You're like thirty seven, big ten. I think I was
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: like twenty, mid twenties or so. It was something like that,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: big ten, And then Peyton's I was twenty nine?
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Was I?
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Taylor?
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: You were thirty.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Thirty seven? And he was pro big ten, pro, big
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: ten pro sec.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: That's a great balance to the show.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: And there was no negative, like negative G five. They
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: didn't even do that, right.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Different hates G five. I'm five up for these games.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: It's gonna be a big weekend.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Is this separation is there's two games.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: I took a total in the quarterfinals. I don't even
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: know what I'm doing.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: I know what I'm doing as soon as the show's over,
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: he's got over the rushing yards.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's got Miami to cover against as State, sure,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: and he's snuck in some props there.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: I snuck in some good you saw it coming from
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: them all away though. We're sitting there over on the
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: other side and he's like, you do props? Yeah, you
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: can if you want, I want.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: To see what this is on before we're going to
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: rushing yards is now dropping one fort Ooh so.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: You need a you need to push pay Joey McGwire.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: They're saying yeah, they're saying, we're fade and pay. Interesting.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I like that, all right. Good luck to everybody. We
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: will see you guys next week. Good luck to you both.
