Florida police responded to a call from a concerned citizen at the local Walmart who said two children were locked in a car without the engine and air conditioning running. When officers arrived, the vehicle owner, Nyakobo Mar, refused to hand over her identification. The confrontation escalated quickly as Mar refused to comply. Inside her car were three-year-old and six-year-old kids, helpless in the hot sun. Mar was arrested and later pleaded no contest to the charges against her.
