- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, you guys, it's time for Stacks and Hacks.
- 0:01Speaker 1: I have stacks of information. Rich has got life hacks.
- 0:04Speaker 1: So according to my stacks, Gen Z is celebrating the
- 0:09Speaker 1: downfall of the thumbs up emoji, calling it passive aggressive
- 0:13Speaker 1: and dismissive. Now other generations got mad and flooded the
- 0:16Speaker 1: comments with thumbs up emojis.
- 0:20Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Rich, this is right up your alley. A Goodwill-branded record
- 0:24Speaker 1: store is opening in North Carolina on Friday. It's called Rewind,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and it's like normal Goodwill, except it specifically focuses on vinyl, CDs, cassettes, Blu-rays,
- 0:32Speaker 1: and DVDs.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Well, I love that. That's not bad at all.
- 0:35Speaker 1: You know, we got a second update where we catch,
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry, we got War of the Roses where we
- 0:37Speaker 1: catch people cheating. Do you guys see what happened in Taiwan?
- 0:40Speaker 2: No.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Guy caught his wife cheating with another man after he
- 0:43Speaker 1: saw them on the camera of a robot vacuum. He
- 0:47Speaker 1: sued her, and he won. But then she countersued for
- 0:52Speaker 1: invasion of privacy. She won that case, and he got
- 0:55Speaker 1: sent to jail.
- 0:56Speaker 2: What the heck? I feel like you can stalk your
- 1:00Speaker 2: wife or your husband.
- 1:01Speaker 1: That is okay.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It's your own house. You should be able to look
- 1:03Speaker 2: at your own robot vac.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that's not spying.
- 1:05Speaker 2: That's just information that you probably need to know.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I also did not know you could check in on
- 1:10Speaker 3: your robot vac camera.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you can. That's very creepy. The new ones with
- 1:15Speaker 2: the mops, you can watch it do its thing. Like,
- 1:17Speaker 2: just watch the video.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Oh, no, no, no.
- 1:20Speaker 1: There's a dog named Bingo, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O. It delivered a
- 1:26Speaker 1: live armadillo into the family's house. So picture you're chilling
- 1:32Speaker 1: out in the house. I've only seen armadillos like on TV.
- 1:35Speaker 2: They're freaky looking.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So the dog brings the armadillo into the house and
- 1:40Speaker 1: this is what happens.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Bingo, drop it. No, no.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Bingo. He went from drop it to go get it.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You've seen, have you seen one and you've not seen
- 2:06Speaker 3: one in person because you lived in Texas. I mean,
- 2:09Speaker 3: they're all over in Texas. One of my friends hit
- 2:12Speaker 3: one with their car and it was so huge. It
- 2:15Speaker 3: almost tipped the car. Well, I mean, it was like
- 2:19Speaker 3: a little Ford Fiesta, but still.
- 2:20Speaker 1: A 300 pound lioness and her cub. are on the
- 2:24Speaker 1: loose somewhere in the middle of Indiana. Picture a giant
- 2:27Speaker 1: lion and the cub.
- 2:29Speaker 4: We got a call from a citizen right down the
- 2:31Speaker 4: road here that he looked out his back window and
- 2:34Speaker 4: seen what appeared to be a lioness and a cub
- 2:37Speaker 4: moving through his property. Law enforcement has not made any
- 2:40Speaker 4: confirmed sightings of this lioness and cub. The public, that's
- 2:43Speaker 4: going to be our best bet as far as seeing
- 2:45Speaker 4: anything like this. We'll report it to 911 so we
- 2:48Speaker 4: can get some folks out here.
- 2:50Speaker 1: What were you saying, Kyle?
- 2:52Speaker 2: Oh, it's just, do they, did it escape from a zoo?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Where did it come from?
- 2:55Speaker 1: It's in Indiana.
- 2:56Speaker 2: People probably had those guys as pets. There's a documentary coming.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's absolutely crazy. A study found that women with no
- 3:05Speaker 1: sexual desire, Kyle, they still make whoopee two to three
- 3:11Speaker 1: times a month to help maintain relationship stability. That's a
- 3:14Speaker 1: study that says that. Okay, there's a poll. 71% of
- 3:18Speaker 1: people think that if the 9-11 attacks, which are coming
- 3:21Speaker 1: up the 25th anniversary, that if 9-11 had happened on 7-11,
- 3:26Speaker 1: that the store 7-11 would be forced to change its name.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, totally.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, 71% of people think that. I like that that's
- 3:32Speaker 1: a poll.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Like somebody was like, hey- Yeah, now that I'm thinking
- 3:36Speaker 2: about it, they should change their name. That's a random
- 3:38Speaker 2: shower thought, for sure.
- 3:40Speaker 4: But they took it to the next level and actually
- 3:42Speaker 4: went and surveyed the people and said, we've got to
- 3:43Speaker 4: get this research done.
- 3:44Speaker 1: What if it would have happened on 311? Would the
- 3:46Speaker 1: band change their name?
- 3:47Speaker 2: They would have to.
- 3:48Speaker 1: They would have to change their name.
- 3:49Speaker 2: God bless them, 311.
- 3:51Speaker 1: A Southwest Airlines flight to Las Vegas turned into an
- 3:53Speaker 1: unexpected wedding when the crew members helped a couple tie
- 3:56Speaker 1: the knot at 35,000 feet. Once the crew learned the
- 3:59Speaker 1: pair were planning to open Vegas, flight attendants organized a ceremony.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The crew treated a wedding veil, and they made one
- 4:06Speaker 1: out of toilet paper, and they made a bouquet out
- 4:07Speaker 1: of Southwest coffee stir sticks. There were 178 passengers there
- 4:11Speaker 1: to witness, and the captain officiated because he's also a minister.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Way to go, Southwest. Way to go.
- 4:18Speaker 2: We don't ever get on those flights, do we, JJ?
- 4:20Speaker 4: No.
- 4:21Speaker 2: We get forced in the middle seat.
- 4:22Speaker 1: What do you have for life hacks, Rich?
- 4:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Well, we're crawling into the first week of September. And,
- 4:27Speaker 3: you know, people are back in school. You've got a
- 4:29Speaker 3: whole new routine. Then it's less time for you in
- 4:32Speaker 3: the Starbucks, our Black Rock, our Dutch Bros line. And
- 4:36Speaker 3: you have to figure that out. So here's the hack.
- 4:39Speaker 3: You get your coffee, your cold brew. You put it
- 4:40Speaker 3: in an ice cube tray overnight. When you go to
- 4:44Speaker 3: work in the morning, you just dump the cubes in
- 4:47Speaker 3: your little thermos in your Stanley along with some vanilla
- 4:50Speaker 3: protein milk or cold water. Then as you drive to work,
- 4:53Speaker 3: it all mixes together. And you've got caffeine. You've got protein.
- 4:57Speaker 3: You've got your coffee. You've got your vanilla protein drink.
- 5:00Speaker 3: It's all mixed together for you. You don't have to
- 5:01Speaker 3: stop anywhere to get it. It's probably going to save
- 5:03Speaker 3: you a bunch of dollars over the month too.
- 5:05Speaker 2: For that little
- 5:06Speaker 3: Recipe and more like that kind of stuff, you can
- 5:08Speaker 3: check out our Instagram page or you can jump on johnjandrich.com.
