  Speaker 1: fifth round pick, a sixth round pick, and a third

  Speaker 1: round pick in twenty twenty seven. Ssh. I wasn't expecting

  Speaker 1: but he is an All Pro in twenty twenty three

  Speaker 1: tag is a bit hot. It feels like the Rams

  Speaker 1: right now is an arms race, and the Rams want

  Speaker 1: to keep up with the Seattle Seahawks. They were this

  Speaker 1: close to making it to a Super Bowl and they

  Speaker 1: think this Trip McDuffie trade gets them over the top.

  Speaker 1: They think they are in a win now mode and

  Speaker 1: they have to stay competitive in this very very competitive

  Speaker 1: NFC West or they're doing everything they can. Obviously, they've

  Speaker 1: traded away a lot of first round picks in the

  Speaker 1: last ten years. I think the only time they didn't

  Speaker 1: trade or way the first round pick is when they

  Speaker 1: drafted Jared Verse. But that seems like a bit much.

  Speaker 1: get Trent McDuffie. Not that he's not worth it. I

  Speaker 1: appears that Trey Hendrickson and Kyler Murray will be free

  Speaker 1: agents this offseason. Both teams confirmed they're not using the

  Speaker 1: franchise tags on those players. Now, Trey Hendrickson is going

  Speaker 1: to be a sought after name this offseason. Cut the

  Speaker 1: San Francisco forty nine ers being the running, Could the
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: Seattle Seahawks be in the running. I think both teams
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: inquired on trading for him at different times and different points.

  Speaker 1: So I think those conversations are going to be had.

  Speaker 1: But I think it also all depends on how the

  Speaker 1: bidding war goes for Trey Hendrickson. If it gets too high,

  Speaker 1: I think those two teams get out of it. If

  Speaker 1: he wants a chance to win a Super Bowl, uh,

  Speaker 1: and and that's what's important to him, and winning and

  Speaker 1: not money is the most important thing to him, then

  Speaker 1: I think there's gonna be some great conversations with some

  Speaker 1: contenders uh that that you know he may have a

  Speaker 1: chance to go to. I think those two would be

  Speaker 1: the beginning of the discussions. Obviously, you can't can't count

  Speaker 1: out how we uh in Philadelphia. He always seems to

  Speaker 1: figure out a way to put together some incredible teams

  Speaker 1: and put together some incredible deals. Uh. Again the Rams,

  Speaker 1: no matter how deep you are at the D line,

  Speaker 1: you can always be deeper. Uh. And you know how

  Speaker 1: the NFC West is right now, They're going to continue

  Speaker 1: to to to play that game. Uh. I think the

  Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers obviously spending a lot of money on

  Speaker 1: the D line right now, But how do you feel

  Speaker 1: about adding somebody else who can who can get to

  Speaker 1: that quarterback? Uh, there's a number of spots that that,

  Speaker 1: you know, it feels like he could go to. But

  Speaker 1: I think this is gonna be one we have to

  Speaker 1: let play out and and and run its course because

  Speaker 1: how high the salary cap has gone, I can't addicted.

  Speaker 1: And money matters in this league. You know, people say

  Speaker 1: I want to win. I want to win, no question

  Speaker 1: about it. But I like money, and so Kyler Murray.

  Speaker 1: There will be a lot of stops, a lot of

  Speaker 1: places that that at least have the conversation about Kyler

  Speaker 1: Murray because they have quarterback openings. I think the Jets

  Speaker 1: come to mind immediately as as your first like, hey,

  Speaker 1: you know, what, what can they do to get him?

  Speaker 1: Does it make sense for him to go there? And

  Speaker 1: and what that make a difference. I'm sure he's had

  Speaker 1: success in this league. He's he's he's had some seasons

  Speaker 1: where you know, he's been named the Pro Bowlers. So

  Speaker 1: if he has talent around him, if the offense is
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: suited to his strengths, he can get the job done.

  Speaker 1: So I think that's a spot for him. I'm trying

  Speaker 1: to think what other spots really make sense for him,

  Speaker 1: you know. Also, yeah, I don't know if the avenue

  Speaker 1: is still open for him to go back to baseball.

  Speaker 1: I remember he was drafted ninth overall by the oak

  Speaker 1: And as uh if that's that was a conversation early

  Speaker 1: on in his career, right before he got his big deal.

  Speaker 1: Is that conversation still open? I would, I would, you know,

  Speaker 1: I don't have any years in his camp, So we'll see,

  Speaker 1: we'll see. I don't think the Minnesota Vikings make sense,

  Speaker 1: even though there's a bit of quarterback uncertainty there. Obviously,

  Speaker 1: the Indianapolis coach just transition tag Daniel Jones, so it

  Speaker 1: looks like they feel like he's going to be their
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: quarterback at least for the next season. Uh. And and
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: they want to do a longer term deal with him apparently.

  Speaker 1: So uh. You know, that's positive news for Daniel Jones
• 6:41
  Speaker 1: because I wasn't sure how that situation would would turn out.

  Speaker 1: He was having a great season, Their offense, you know,
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: was the talk of the league, and then he goes
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: down with a major injury, uh, on a year where
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: you know, it looked like a revival season for his career.

  Speaker 1: And and so I'm happy for him that he was
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: able to play with enough to earn himself the transition tag,

  Speaker 1: which I think is thirty seven and some change million dollars.

  Speaker 1: And we'll see, We'll see, We'll see what happens with

  Speaker 1: with Kyler, what he decides. I think the Jets are

  Speaker 1: the most viable option, the most obvious need at the position,
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: and the most inconsistent quarterback room over the last few years.

  Speaker 1: So we'll see, we'll see what they do. I think

  Speaker 1: that makes sense. I don't see a lot of other

  Speaker 1: places that make a ton of sense. The more I'm

  Speaker 1: thinking about it, I'm trying to look through the AFC South,

  Speaker 1: the NFC South. There's not a lot of places that
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: are that are looking for a quarterback. What it makes

  Speaker 1: sense to inject him in the room in Cleveland, No,
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: it doesn't. You already got Deshaun Watson still in that
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: room now going to be healthy. You got Shador Sanders
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: in that room. In the conversations there. Obviously they don't
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: think they're going to play Deshaun Watson. But you know,

  Speaker 1: if you've got a healthy, fifty million dollars quarterback on

  Speaker 1: the bench, it's gonna it's gonna depending on how the
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: starter plays, anytime he throws the interception, that conversation is
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: going to be there, That conversation is going to be open.

  Speaker 1: Would somebody trade for him? Would he be willing to
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: adjust his cap number and adjust his contract down to
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: facilitate tate a trade. That would probably be a scenario
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: I think he would be open to if he's looking
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: to play some football. But again, these things are all
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: up in the air. We'll see how they plan out.

  Speaker 1: Free agencies starting up, so we're you know, for all
