- 16:00Speaker 2: He's a mighty God.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Hallelujah.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Somebody just give God praise here tonight.
- 16:28Speaker 15: I am trying to keep my composure. I'm trying not
- 16:35Speaker 15: to go off and I'm trying to keep everything in English.
- 16:42Speaker 15: Now I'm at best.
- 16:45Speaker 4: But it was in.
- 16:49Speaker 15: 1991 that I was in Memphis, Tennessee. And I was
- 17:00Speaker 15: riding in a car going to a service. And this wonderful,
- 17:06Speaker 15: wonderful queenly woman by the name of Sarita Jakes sat
- 17:12Speaker 15: in the back seat of the car with me and
- 17:15Speaker 15: she looked at me and she said, hello. And I said,
- 17:23Speaker 15: you know, hi.
- 17:25Speaker 4: She said, my name is Sarita Jakes. Lips pooched out.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Just like that.
- 17:41Speaker 15: She said, what's your name? I said, my name is
- 17:43Speaker 15: Donnie McClurkin. She said, do you know Bishop Jakes? I said,
- 17:48Speaker 15: no ma'am. She said, Donnie, Bishop Jakes. Bishop Donnie. He
- 17:55Speaker 15: turned around in the seat and he talked to me
- 17:57Speaker 15: all the way to the church.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Hallelujah. And with Bishop, you never meet him for the
- 18:03Speaker 4: first time. It's like you've always known him.
- 18:06Speaker 15: And when we got there, I had never heard him
- 18:08Speaker 15: preach before.
- 18:10Speaker 4: And he had never heard me sing.
- 18:13Speaker 15: And I sang before he preached, but my pastor was
- 18:17Speaker 15: in Memphis also and I had to sing there and
- 18:19Speaker 15: go to another church where my pastor was. But I
- 18:22Speaker 15: made the mistake of sitting down to hear him speak.
- 18:28Speaker 15: Saying that I was only going to hear two minutes
- 18:29Speaker 15: of him and I was going to leave.
- 18:34Speaker 4: And I heard, get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Y'all heard that too. I heard this man stand with
- 18:45Speaker 4: his jaw shaking.
- 18:46Speaker 6: Get ready, get ready, get ready.
- 18:50Speaker 15: And by the time he finished, he preached directly to
- 18:54Speaker 15: me and everything I was going through. And I was
- 18:59Speaker 15: sitting the other day with a woman by the name
- 19:01Speaker 15: of Roberta.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Flack and I told her I was going to borrow
- 19:03Speaker 4: from her and sing a song in tribute to Bishop Jakeson.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Because it was my testimony.
- 19:10Speaker 15: And the song just said, I heard he had a message.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I heard he had a style.
- 19:22Speaker 7: So I sat down in Memphis to listen for a while.
- 19:33Speaker 4: And there he was, this young man.
- 19:39Speaker 7: A stranger to my eyes, strumming my pain with this message.
- 19:40Speaker 7: Singing my life with his words. He was killing me
- 19:56Speaker 7: softly with his song.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Killing me softly with his song.
- 20:05Speaker 7: Telling my whole life.
- 20:08Speaker 2: With his words.
- 20:11Speaker 7: Killing me softly with his song.
- 20:19Speaker 4: I know I caught you off guard.
- 20:20Speaker 6: I caught you off guard.
- 20:22Speaker 9: Yes.
- 20:24Speaker 15: But he spoke as if he knew me.
- 20:31Speaker 7: In all my dark despair. And then he looked right
- 20:39Speaker 7: through me as if I wasn't there.
- 20:45Speaker 15: Oh, I.
- 20:48Speaker 7: Prayed that he would finish early, but he just kept
- 20:56Speaker 7: right on. Strumming my pain with this message and filling
- 21:04Speaker 7: my life.
- 21:06Speaker 2: With every word he spoke.
- 21:09Speaker 7: He was killing me softly with his song.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Killing me softly with his song.
- 21:19Speaker 7: Telling my whole life with his words. Tell me what
- 21:26Speaker 7: do you give, sister Jesus?
- 21:30Speaker 4: You've given your all.
- 21:34Speaker 7: And it seems like you can't make it through.
- 21:39Speaker 4: My God, help me.
- 21:41Speaker 11: Well, you just stand when there's nothing left to do.
- 21:48Speaker 11: You just stand and watch your Lord see you through.
- 21:55Speaker 7: Yes, after you've done all you can.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You just stand.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Somebody help me.
- 22:06Speaker 7: How do you handle the guilt from your past, your past?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Tell me, how.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Do you deal with the shame?
- 22:18Speaker 2: And tell me.
- 22:20Speaker 7: How can you smile while your heart has been broken
- 22:25Speaker 7: and so filled with pain?
- 22:30Speaker 10: Oh, When you've done all that you can and it
- 22:39Speaker 10: seems like you can't.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Make it through, child, you just stand. Stand.
- 22:45Speaker 2: You just stand. Stand. Stand.
- 22:53Speaker 9: Stand.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Don't do anything. You can't do this.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Stand.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Stand.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Don't you? Don't you? Don't you? What are you.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Going to do?
- 23:30Speaker 13: What are you going to do? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 23:42Speaker 9: Move beyond offense so the door to total freedom can
- 23:45Speaker 9: be thrown wide open.
- 23:46Speaker 6: You don't think you have forgiven until your emotions let go.
- 23:53Speaker 6: But that means that your emotions are running you and
- 23:57Speaker 6: you are not running it.
- 23:59Speaker 9: It's forgiveness on a whole new level.
- 24:01Speaker 6: The reason you are not happy is that your mind
- 24:04Speaker 6: is filled with all that clutter and it's building up
- 24:08Speaker 6: in you and you.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Have no peace.

- 25:34Speaker 5: at mega-fest.com or call 1-800-BISHOP-2 today.
- 25:39Speaker 6: We do it big in Texas. All people can do
- 25:43Speaker 6: is pull out of you what God has already placed
- 25:45Speaker 6: inside of you.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 25:47Speaker 6: The Bible said, whosoever findeth a wife, findeth a good thing.
- 25:51Speaker 6: For years I quoted that scripture and didn't even think
- 25:53Speaker 6: about it. Because I thought it said, whosoever findeth a woman,
- 25:57Speaker 6: findeth a good thing. But later I began to realize
- 26:00Speaker 6: every woman is not a wife. I'm going to mess
- 26:07Speaker 6: with you a little bit tonight. If she wasn't a
- 26:11Speaker 6: wife when you found her, putting a ring on her
- 26:14Speaker 6: finger will not make her a wife.
- 26:16Speaker 4: It'll just make her a woman with an expensive ring.
- 26:19Speaker 6: The Bible said you got to find somebody who already
- 26:22Speaker 6: is and then make them what I already created them
- 26:25Speaker 6: to be.
- 26:26Speaker 4: If you weren't a preacher before you got.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Ordained, getting papers and credentials will not make you a preacher.
- 26:32Speaker 6: You have to be it before anybody calls you what
- 26:36Speaker 6: you already are.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Then time will draw it out of me. Somebody how
- 26:41Speaker 4: to draw it out of me.
- 26:52Speaker 6: That's why the Bible teaches women not to hunt for men.
- 26:55Speaker 6: You're not supposed to hunt for men. You're supposed to
- 26:57Speaker 6: wait on a man who's got enough vision to see
- 26:59Speaker 6: what you got. Some man who can walk up to
- 27:02Speaker 6: you and say, you're a bad girl. You're the thing
- 27:04Speaker 6: I need.
- 27:05Speaker 4: You're the missing link. You're the piece it's going to
- 27:07Speaker 4: take to get me there.
- 27:08Speaker 6: And when he's got enough vision to see what you are,
- 27:11Speaker 6: then he's worthy to be your husband. Stop selling yourself
- 27:15Speaker 6: for these pecan-eating Johnny-come-lately dead people.
- 27:29Speaker 4: We're out of time.
- 27:30Speaker 6: We've got to stop right there. But what a joy
- 27:31Speaker 6: it's been to share the word of the Lord with you.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I pray that it bless you in a supernatural way.
- 27:36Speaker 6: To all of you that are writing and emailing and
- 27:38Speaker 6: texting and everything else telling me you're coming to Megan's House,
- 27:41Speaker 6: I hear you. And I'm excited about it. If you
- 27:44Speaker 6: haven't considered joining us, you need to join the happy band.
- 27:47Speaker 6: They're coming by plane. They're coming by bus. There are
- 27:50Speaker 6: church bands coming. I expect to see some canoes and
- 27:53Speaker 6: ice skaters coming. People are coming. This is not about
- 27:56Speaker 6: Baptist Methodist Presbyterian, black, white, blue, green, doesn't matter who
- 27:59Speaker 6: you are. If you want to come into a spiritual
- 28:01Speaker 6: environment and have some family-friendly opportunities for you and generations
