SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, intuitive energy healer and coach, Crystal Ford.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_00: My goal is to help you create the life you fantasize about by teaching you energetic spiritual laws of the universe and neuroscience tools.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: I'll share how I utilize these teachings in my own life with stories of single motherhood, entrepreneurship, finances, and relationships.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_00: Let's dive on into the depths of consciousness and glow up from the inside out.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, welcome back to the conscious glow up.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_00: What I have for you today is something that I actually recorded six months ago back in September 2025 that I think is well worth resharing here.
• 1:07
SPEAKER_00: The original video from this episode is on my Rumble channel, also called The Conscious Glow Up.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_00: And if you're interested in more free content from me on topics such as life purpose, confidence, health, and spirituality, then you are more than welcome to check that out as well.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: I've just honestly been really enjoying this whole podcast thing, and basically because I don't have to get dressed with makeup and prepare a cool backdrop, I can just write and record immediately after.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_00: So I haven't been giving as much attention to Rumble lately as podcasting, but I do still have all of my videos up if you're interested in checking that out.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_00: And it does also have a couple of the live workshop replays that I've done on there as well.
• 1:48
SPEAKER_00: So this episode is about when you feel pissed off at God or the universe, or when life feels like it's working against you.
• 1:55
SPEAKER_00: It is really easy to get stuck in blame and anger and resistance, but the more we fight our situation or the people we think caused it, then the harder it becomes to move through it.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_00: I share why blaming the universe keeps us trapped, how resistance creates even more struggle, and how shifting into radical responsibility can change everything.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_00: So you'll basically learn why obstacles are not punishment but redirection.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: So you're about to hear after this the whole episode I took from Rumble, which includes a couple of personal stories from my own life when I was faced with small and large obstacles and how they were actually the catalyst to an even better life for me.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_00: Alright, enjoy, and if you have been enjoying the show so far, please rate it to help me grow and give me a follow if you want to be notified when new episodes drop.
• 2:45
  SPEAKER_00: Until next time.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome to the Conscious Globe.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: I am your host, Crystal Ward, and this episode is intended to bring a little ease into your life.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_00: Maybe an ease isn't the right word, but to help you see obstacles in another light, which hopefully helps life feel a little easier.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_00: This topic has been prompted by a Facebook post that I saw somebody in a spiritual group that I'm in.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_00: She was asking for support around her life path, specifically career path.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_00: And the thing that really stood out to me was that how frustrated she has been, she said, for years at the universe, for giving her so many obstacles when it comes to her life purpose and her career.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_00: I have a lot of compassion for this because I have been frustrated on my path many a time.
• 3:47
SPEAKER_00: But I have had to come to the point to the realization, also I'm a life coach.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_00: She's not, so I've been trained to look at things with different perspectives.
• 4:00
  SPEAKER_00: So emotions are valid.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_00: Her experience is totally valid, and I totally understand.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, because on my path, there have been many times where I'm like, why can't it just be easy?
• 4:11
  SPEAKER_00: Why can't I just have what I know I want?
• 4:13
SPEAKER_00: Why can't I just know exactly which direction to take?
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: So much love to this woman, but the part that stood out was being frustrated with and mad at the universe because for for throwing her off track so many times.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: The perspective that I want to offer, you could probably guess it is that obstacles are orchestrated by our higher self for our growth, or they are just kidding, there's no other or I mean how how else do you grow?
• 4:48
SPEAKER_00: When you go to the gym, are you going to lift 400 pounds before you lift 10 pounds?
• 4:56
SPEAKER_00: And on your way from lifting, wherever you start, might there be a little pain and challenge on the way to 400 pounds.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_00: Challenges actually support our growth, challenges support our higher path, our highest aligned path.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_00: That being said, though, we are going to have emotions.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: We are going to have days where it is frustrating and heartbreaking, and you feel powerless, but that powerless feeling can be used to fuel you to find another way.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_00: This happened, there's like cat and dog fur all over me.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: Um I hit what felt like a bottom.
• 5:41
  SPEAKER_00: I don't hit those very often.
• 5:43
SPEAKER_00: Luckily, I used to a lot, but I hit a time in my career a couple of weeks ago where I was just really fed up with a particular aspect of my life.
• 5:57
SPEAKER_00: And what that did, I did feel like I was kind of spinning out for a little bit, a couple of hours, whereas before this would last a couple of days or weeks, or it would just become who I was for a while.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: Uh, I got through in a couple of hours, and what that feeling of powerlessness did for me was fuel me to now make different decisions in that area of life to make a big change that I had known I'd wanted to make for over a year now, and just hadn't done it because it was it would force me to get out of my comfort zone.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, even I spend a lot of time in the comfort zone.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I'm human, but it forced me to decide to go another direction, and what I did with that decision and those feelings was take the next step.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_00: There was a very specific step that I had to take to do something to get me in this new direction, and I used that those feelings of powerlessness to actually empower me with fuel to make that next move.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_00: So the that challenge, I could look at it as oh my gosh, this is so challenging, and I really hate it, and the universe is just screwing me at every turn, and it's just not working out, and things aren't going my way.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so easy to wallow in that kind of shit because part of it's therapeutic in a way.
• 7:26
SPEAKER_00: I don't know why, but um, you know, sometimes it feels good because like, oh, we're crying out for support, like, woe is me.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_00: But all of that was happening for me.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_00: Those obstacles that I was experiencing in career, finance, my job, all was being orchestrated for me to grow, for me to make a new decision about a very big aspect of my life that I was putting off that I knew I needed to make a decision on, to move forward with.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_00: So these lessons are it's advancement on our path.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_00: So for this, for this woman who is mad at the universe, when we stay mad at our situation or who or what we think put us in that situation, we are creating resistance to move through it.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_00: The more angry and upset and emotional I am, and the more I can blame the outside world, the less I'm going to take radical responsibility and take matters into my hands.
• 8:32
SPEAKER_00: Because if I can just blame the universe, then I'm like, okay, well, every time I make a decision, it doesn't work out.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: So the universe is always against me, so I don't have to make decisions anymore.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna, you know, stay stuck in this point of emotional drainage.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_00: Also, when we're highly emotional and in this victim mentality of blaming life, life and the universe, and my guides and God is all against me, we can't actually see clearly.
• 9:03
SPEAKER_00: We have to calm our emotions and we have to support ourselves with love and moments where we can actually invite quiet and peace and put the pressure off, take the pressure off of the universe and God and the world, drop that a little bit, and you can start to see what you need to do a lot more clearly.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_00: Emotions cloud a lot of things, and emotions are what make humans human, so we have to have them, and they're a beautiful thing, but they are also intended to let us know when something needs to shift.
• 9:53
SPEAKER_00: If something doesn't make me really angry or feel helpless or powerless, how am I gonna know that that aspect of life isn't working out anymore and that I need to make a change?
• 10:07
SPEAKER_00: I would I would stay stuck in what I knew wasn't feeding my life anymore if I didn't get a little emotional about it.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_00: So lots of love and tenderness to our emotions as we tend them, but we do need to tend them.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_00: We do need to soften them and see how these obstacles and things that we think are happening so very much for our downfall are actually here to advance us and to grow us and support us, even when it's really inconvenient, even when some of these obstacles force you to sometimes up-level your entire freaking life.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: Here's an example of my biggest obstacle to date in my life.
• 10:54
SPEAKER_00: I got pregnant at a time when I was not planning on becoming pregnant.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_00: And I I didn't ever really think, oh, my life is over, but it was definitely a big curveball in the plans I had for myself.
• 13:10
SPEAKER_00: I was going to move to either Texas or Arizona from Virginia.
• 13:14
SPEAKER_00: That had been a dream I had for a very long time.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_00: Well, that stopped that from happening, and she was born the year, she was born about six months before COVID.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_00: So um, even within that six months before COVID, when like the whole world shut down, every you couldn't do anything anyway.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_00: I made a decision that I didn't want to go back to my lifestyle of working at a casino steakhouse because it was a highly toxic environment.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_00: But aside from that, uh, just the hours would be very chaotic to New Motherhood.
• 13:49
SPEAKER_00: So I chose to resign my position at the steakhouse, and I had always kind of had this inner knowing that I was going to have a business even since I was a child, but I never put much thought into it.
• 14:02
SPEAKER_00: I never thought, like, oh, what should it be?
• 14:03
SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited, blah, blah, blah.
• 14:05
SPEAKER_00: It was just a little quiet knowing, and I was very into health at this time.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_00: Once since I got pregnant, it was before I got pregnant, I was like kind of becoming aware of the food industry and how I needed to make decisions that would help me feel good.
• 14:20
SPEAKER_00: So I got very into health and then I started sharing that health journey and lots of stuff I was learning on social media, and people would constantly reply and say, Thank you, this is so helpful.
• 14:31
SPEAKER_00: Oh, like, are you gonna be an influencer or whatever?
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: I was like, I don't need to be an influencer, but I had heard about coaching, I thought, um, let me go do therapy.
• 14:40
SPEAKER_00: But then my therapist was saying, Hey, you'd be make a great coach.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_00: So I was like, Oh, let me check out this coaching stuff.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_00: So had I not had that baby, I I might be here with you, but timeline would be very different.
• 14:56
SPEAKER_00: She, something that I deemed as, oh my gosh, this is wild.
• 15:00
SPEAKER_00: What am I gonna do?
• 15:02
SPEAKER_00: turned into the best, most beautiful, most potent, incredible fuel for me to make the shift in my life that had always intended to be there that I did not consciously see, but my higher self knew it, God knew it.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_00: There was a plan that I was supposed to go, a path I was supposed to go down, something very specific I'm supposed to do in this lifetime.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_00: I still don't even know all the details of it, but that's kind of what life is.
• 15:30
  SPEAKER_00: It's an unfolding.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_00: But she was the reason that I ended up going down a whole different path.
• 15:35
SPEAKER_00: I could still very well be in the comfort zone at that casino steakhouse or moved to work at another restaurant in Texas or Arizona and be in that same line of work forever.
• 15:46
SPEAKER_00: I still work at a restaurant to supplement my income, but I wouldn't have a business I was growing.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't think, oh, there's something different I can do in my life because I wouldn't have thought, oh, um, maybe I should get out of the restaurant industry.
• 16:00
SPEAKER_00: Though who knows, with COVID things, who knows what would have happened, but that is an example of an obstacle that felt very obstacly.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_00: It was a very big obstacle, turned into the most beautiful blessing of my life.
• 16:12
SPEAKER_00: Business aside, oh my gosh, having a child, something I never thought I could handle for one thing, um, or appreciate, but you know, if you know, you know.
• 16:28
SPEAKER_00: If you know, you know.
• 16:31
SPEAKER_00: Another little story is of an obstacle and how it's working out in my favor.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_00: So this one is not as big of an obstacle, but this is an example of me seeing that this obstacle knowing that this obstacle was happening for me even before I knew what it was all about.
• 16:46
  SPEAKER_00: Let me explain.
• 16:47
SPEAKER_00: Things are always happening for us.
• 16:49
SPEAKER_00: This is what the point I want you to know is that things are always happening for you, whether you see it or not.
• 16:54
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes you have to look back on your life and be like, oh my gosh, that obstacle actually freaking catapulted me.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_00: And here I am now, so fulfilled, so happy, things couldn't be better.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_00: Okay, but here's the small story.
• 17:08
SPEAKER_00: Four years ago, I learned about fluoride in the water, and blah blah blah.
• 17:12
SPEAKER_00: So I got a zero pitcher, zero water pitcher, and I contacted them and said, Hey, does this filter out fluoride as well?
• 17:18
SPEAKER_00: It wasn't on their website, and they said yes, and this was just the water pitcher you could, like, you know, put on your counter.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_00: So two years ago, I had I wanted to get a faucet attachment so that I could just have running filtered water from my faucet.
• 17:36
SPEAKER_00: And then I moved to a place where I don't need that one anymore.
• 17:42
SPEAKER_00: We have awesome well water, but I took it to my boyfriend's house.
• 17:46
SPEAKER_00: So the zero water faucet attachment, put it on his sink, and a couple of weeks ago I went to get morning cup of water, and the whole thing just like sprayed.
• 17:57
SPEAKER_00: It was made of outside's made of plastic, and there was the plastic was coming up, so I was like, okay, crap, we need a new one.
• 18:03
SPEAKER_00: He couldn't find it anywhere.
• 18:05
SPEAKER_00: Home Depot, wherever said they had it, they didn't have it.
• 18:07
SPEAKER_00: So he ordered one online, and it wasn't directly from the Xero website, it was from some sister filter water site, and it was a stainless steel, and it said zero water on it, same faucet attached.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_00: I was like, ooh, stainless steel, that's awesome.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_00: It comes in the mail, it says Culligan water, and it's made of plastic.
• 18:24
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Okay, this is so strange.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: And when it came in the mail and it was completely different, I was like, this is an obstacle.
• 18:32
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I had the conscious awareness because I've been doing this work for so long, of this is happening for us for some reason.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_00: I told myself that in the kitchen, but I didn't have a clue what that reason was.
• 18:47
SPEAKER_00: Well, I was like, all right, well, let me just call the company because it said it was supposed to be zero water.
• 18:52
SPEAKER_00: So I called zero, explained the situation, told them where we got it, where it was shipped from, and she was like, Oh, well, Culligan bought zero however many years ago.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Oh, that's so interesting.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_00: Um, can you just tell me?
• 19:03
  SPEAKER_00: I was like, that's fine.
• 19:05
SPEAKER_00: How did you keep the product?
• 19:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, can you just tell me if it filters out fluoride?
• 19:09
SPEAKER_00: Because I know it filters out everything else.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_00: And she was look, she was like, hmm, it's not here.
• 19:12
  SPEAKER_00: Da-da-da, look, look, look.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_00: Actually, no, the water, the faucet attachments do not filter fluoride.
• 19:18
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, this whole time I thought I was decalcifying my pineal gland.
• 19:25
SPEAKER_00: I was like, great, okay.
• 19:27
SPEAKER_00: So that's not even the best part.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_00: That part being, okay, wow, now I know this faucet attachment isn't filtering what I thought it was filtering.
• 19:36
  SPEAKER_00: Let's get a different filter.
• 19:38
  SPEAKER_00: Phenomenal.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_00: Glad to know that now after so many years.
• 19:41
SPEAKER_00: The reason this is so important for me specifically is that I am in the midst of training my intuition to a scientifically precise accuracy through the school at Guided Light Healing.
• 19:56
SPEAKER_00: I highly recommend you check out Alessandro Giannetti, the founder and teacher of so many incredible spiritual classes.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_00: My life has turned upside down in the best ways.
• 20:09
  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's really difficult.
• 20:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, but since I discovered him only a few months ago.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_00: But anyways, I'm in this intuition training, and one thing he says, there's a few things, but one main thing is that you cannot be drinking fluoride for your intuition.
• 20:26
SPEAKER_00: It does calcify your pineal gland, which is the human body, we use many parts of the human body for intuition, and that's one of them.
• 20:34
SPEAKER_00: That's I think it's seven aspects of the body that that are used, so it's really severely hinders your intuition.
• 20:39
SPEAKER_00: I had just completed the first 10 weeks of the class, level one, and when this happened, when this water filter thing happened, had it not happened, I would not have known that I was still consuming fluoride all day long.
• 20:55
SPEAKER_00: And my intuition, all of this training that I've been doing, it wouldn't be for nothing.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_00: My intuition is still I've still been developing it and practicing, but um, I am going to advance even more than I was because of this little obstacle.
• 21:10
SPEAKER_00: So obstacles seem freaking frustrating.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_00: Why is the water filter breaking?
• 21:15
SPEAKER_00: Why are they sending the wrong one?
• 21:17
  SPEAKER_00: Blah blah blah.
• 21:17
SPEAKER_00: And we can bitch and moan and complain all day long, which I used to be the queen of, just ask my parents, especially when I was a child.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_00: But if you can train, retrain your brain to just trust, trust that this shit is happening for some divine reason, and you might not even know that reason for a while down the line, but I promise you your experience of life is going to be so much easier when, and again, not to discount or discredit or devalidate, invalidate whatever the emotions, we're gonna have those.
• 21:48
SPEAKER_00: But if you can pull yourself out of that enough to say, hey, this sucks, but I'm going to trust that it's happening for a reason that I can't see right now.
• 21:59
SPEAKER_00: And you'll start to feel better.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_00: And through feeling better, you're going to have clarity, more clarity on the next steps to take.
• 22:07
SPEAKER_00: So the woman back to the woman on Facebook, if she could stop being so pissed and resistant at the universe, now her subconscious has the belief that the universe constantly fucks her.
• 22:18
SPEAKER_00: So that's gonna create more of her seeing how she's screwed all of the time.
• 22:23
SPEAKER_00: If she could put that aside for a minute, she wouldn't be so emotional.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_00: And dropping your emotions is another big way to get these intuitive hits, these nudges, these messages from your higher self, source, God, the universe, um, your guides, whoever needs to send you messages for your next path.
• 22:41
SPEAKER_00: Your nervous system can calm down and and put the war, like pause the war, and you will have so much more clarity and peace in your life.
• 22:53
SPEAKER_00: That's what I have for you today on obstacles and emotions and challenge.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_00: Just trust that life is happening in the perfect time frame.
• 23:04
SPEAKER_00: If you feel like you should be more ahead, well, that's your nudge.
• 23:08
  SPEAKER_00: That is your feeling.
• 23:09
SPEAKER_00: The emotions, I really feel like I should be farther ahead, not farther in the head in the way of like you controlling things that you you trying to control things that actually you can't control, some things we cannot control, but let that be the fuel for you to say, okay, well, what where am I bottlenecked?
• 23:25
SPEAKER_00: Is it something is it inner work I need to do?
• 23:28
SPEAKER_00: Is it something externally I need to do?
• 23:30
SPEAKER_00: What is one step now I can take to get myself for where I want to be?
• 23:34
  SPEAKER_00: Obstacles are beautiful.
• 23:36
SPEAKER_00: As uh Ryan Holiday, I think, the stoicism guy, the obstacle is the way.
• 23:42
SPEAKER_00: If you like this video, we are a new channel.
• 23:45
SPEAKER_00: I would greatly appreciate if you hit the little like button, leave a comment.
• 23:49
SPEAKER_00: Would you like what's your current obstacle?
• 23:52
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, last piece of homework.
• 23:54
SPEAKER_00: Thank you for reminding me, Crystal.
• 23:56
SPEAKER_00: Think of an obstacle you had a long time ago and see how it actually happened for you.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_00: And I will see you next time.
