- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where the.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Plays get broken down and science gets denied to come
- 0:08Speaker 1: off the bench. Our two of Off the Bench Live
- 0:11Speaker 1: from the Raisin Knes Studio.
- 0:51Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in now, oh TB Live from
- 0:57Speaker 3: the Raising King Studio. How much to college baseball have
- 1:04Speaker 3: we watched? And be honest, because I'm gonna be honest. Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 3: since l s U was eliminated in the SEC Baseball.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Very I've watched quite a bit bit of it.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I have background foddered some. Yeah, Auburn, Ole, miss Oklahoma, Kansas,
- 1:21Speaker 3: North Carolina USC. Yesterday we were eating after our baseball tournament. Yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 3: and so it was like it was on the TV.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It's been really good. I can't like it's hard for
- 1:33Speaker 3: me to Georgia.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Mississippi State was a really good that it was a heavyweight.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was awesome Mississippi State. You know that Georgia.
- 1:45Speaker 3: They were trading home runs and if I'm not mistaken,
- 1:49Speaker 3: and correct me if I'm wrong, chat the guy that
- 1:52Speaker 3: pimped to home runs from Mississippi State, and he should have.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I mean he smiled at one because he got literally
- 1:57Speaker 3: all of it was that who struck out the end
- 1:59Speaker 3: the game. I know it was a lefty that struck
- 2:01Speaker 3: out for Mississippi State, and I don't know their roster life,
- 2:03Speaker 3: I don't remember. I think it was the same guy
- 2:06Speaker 3: and if that's true, the old baseball guys. Either way,
- 2:12Speaker 3: Georgia can play in a match box. I know that
- 2:15Speaker 3: they're hidden tanks, Georgia, They're hidden.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Virginia's playing really well right now. George is my favorite
- 2:23Speaker 5: to win it all.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yep, got it like.
- 2:25Speaker 5: That is a very very solid baseball team. And the
- 2:30Speaker 5: way that they fought they were down seven to zero
- 2:32Speaker 5: to Mississippi State and the way that they fought back
- 2:34Speaker 5: took the game to extras and ended up winning it.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Like I think Georgia. The Texas is really good too.
- 2:41Speaker 5: But Jim Schlosnagel has been at the biggest stage and
- 2:44Speaker 5: has choked it before multiple times. So especially when he
- 2:48Speaker 5: was with A and M and he was he had
- 2:51Speaker 5: Texas on the mine, you know, like he was headed
- 2:53Speaker 5: to Austin.
- 2:54Speaker 4: He was headed to Austin right after that.
- 2:56Speaker 5: So I think that Georgia for right like I I
- 3:00Speaker 5: think George is my favorite to win the College World Series.
- 3:03Speaker 4: They are playing really really well.
- 3:05Speaker 5: And you're right, they play in a matchbox, but they're
- 3:07Speaker 5: hitting it like it travels.
- 3:08Speaker 6: They could win in so many different ways though. That's
- 3:10Speaker 6: the thing, right, Like you're talking about them hitting tanks.
- 3:12Speaker 6: They got a good pitch and stuff as well. Like
- 3:15Speaker 6: when one thing's not working, the other is like you
- 3:17Speaker 6: got to catch at Georgia on a day where they're
- 3:19Speaker 6: pitching and hitting's bad, and that's just really hard to do.
- 3:22Speaker 3: They got a little swag to them too. Now some
- 3:24Speaker 3: people might not like it, but they got a little juice.
- 3:26Speaker 3: They got a little belief that they're the best team
- 3:29Speaker 3: in every game that they play. And I think that
- 3:31Speaker 3: actually helps them because like even yesterday they had multiple
- 3:36Speaker 3: three eras maybe and they just kept coming back from it.
- 3:39Speaker 3: They just kept coming Like that. That team feels like
- 3:43Speaker 3: a team that knows you've got to get twenty seven
- 3:46Speaker 3: outs and it's gonna be damn hard to get twenty
- 3:48Speaker 3: seven of them against that team. Like they have a
- 3:51Speaker 3: real belief in that lineup. So they win eleven to
- 3:53Speaker 3: nine over Mississippi State. So they do move on to
- 3:56Speaker 3: the College World Series. Texas beats Oregon six to five.
- 4:00Speaker 3: They move on to Omaha Oklahoma beat Kansas yesterday or
- 4:05Speaker 3: that game got suspended. Actually, if I'm not mistaken late
- 4:08Speaker 3: in the game, I believe it did get suspended.
- 4:10Speaker 2: There's two games I got suspended.
- 4:11Speaker 7: Alabama St. John's did too, And I got one thing
- 4:16Speaker 7: to say. You know, Georgia is a favorite. I get it.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But did y'all see the scenes again Country Road.
- 4:27Speaker 4: They're playing too.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, they're rolling. God, it is so good.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I you talk about belief West Virginia.
- 4:34Speaker 7: I'm cheering for that team in the World Series, yep,
- 4:38Speaker 7: just because of the song.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and Troy.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Troy handled business against the Little Rock. I got the
- 4:44Speaker 6: at the game one one on Friday. It was twelve
- 4:46Speaker 6: to two at one point, like they they rolled through that.
- 4:49Speaker 6: I thought, I thought a Little Rock had a shot
- 4:51Speaker 6: and that super but Troy looked really good.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so I was gonna get North Carolina beat USC
- 4:56Speaker 3: dramatic fashion. That was a really good series USC. I
- 4:58Speaker 3: mean there was a foul ball in territory for the
- 5:00Speaker 3: third baseman. He doesn't catch it would have gone to
- 5:03Speaker 3: extra as he misses it, then they walk him off,
- 5:05Speaker 3: so UNC wins that super two to one ole miss again.
- 5:10Speaker 3: As we said, they beat Auburn, so they move on
- 5:12Speaker 3: to the College World Series. Troy, I mean it was
- 5:18Speaker 3: no doubt who the better team was there. West Virginia,
- 5:20Speaker 3: I mean put a football score up against cal Poly,
- 5:22Speaker 3: so you know who. You know, it's like it's sneaky,
- 5:28Speaker 3: going to be very tough out that nobody's talking about.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It feels like because they're playing their best baseball right now.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Is Oklahoma. Oklahoma's playing really really good right now, and
- 5:37Speaker 3: they haven't had an easy path I don't think, I
- 5:40Speaker 3: mean because I mean Kansas was a top sixteen seed.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I mean they were a host side and Oklahoma, remember
- 5:46Speaker 3: they didn't host in the regional, so they've had to
- 5:48Speaker 3: kind of fight through the fire a little bit, and
- 5:50Speaker 3: they are playing really good. They beat Kansas eight to
- 5:53Speaker 3: one on Saturday. They're up eight to one now in
- 5:56Speaker 3: a suspended game as well. And we all know we've
- 5:59Speaker 3: seen happened a thousand times before in college baseball. It's
- 6:02Speaker 3: not always who the best team is, it's the hottest team.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And Oklahoma's got a little juice to him right now.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So whenever if they do finish, it's eight to one game.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Whenever the College World Series odds come out, if you're
- 6:13Speaker 3: looking for a longer shot night Sprinkle.
- 6:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean baseball is absolutely like one hundred cent
- 6:19Speaker 7: the most like streaky sport out there.
- 6:21Speaker 2: You can consistently be the best. Did you run into you?
- 6:25Speaker 7: If you catch six or seven batters on a team
- 6:28Speaker 7: that are that are hot, anybody can win.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Oklahoma plus seventeen hundred on draft kings, Georgia and U
- 6:36Speaker 5: and C are tied for the favorite plus two seventy five.
- 6:41Speaker 5: What about Texas plus three hundred West Virginia plus seven
- 6:45Speaker 5: fifty Ole Miss plus eight hundred Bama plus fourteen hundred
- 6:50Speaker 5: As I mentioned Oklahoma plus seventeen plus thirty five hundred.
- 6:53Speaker 7: Sprinkle, do you know that I'm ms Sprinkle on the
- 6:56Speaker 7: Mountain Mamas.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah, mount Mama.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Super official official name.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Now, so West Virginia is gonna fay. Oh well, uh,
- 7:09Speaker 5: Troy and the North Carolina and Ole Miss.
- 7:13Speaker 4: That's what's that? Right now?
- 7:15Speaker 3: You said North Carolina old mess?
- 7:17Speaker 4: Who is Troy West Virginia?
- 7:20Speaker 3: So they got both those teams? Like, I feel pretty good.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I like that.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Now I could watch the College World Series like I
- 7:31Speaker 3: normally would because those who's not in it, and yes,
- 7:33Speaker 3: I'm better.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Texas has great pitching that you're gonna have to get through.
- 7:38Speaker 7: But important question, oh lord, is the Country Road song?
- 7:47Speaker 7: Is that the most? Is that the most highly recognized
- 7:52Speaker 7: sing along song? Or the are the most participation on
- 7:56Speaker 7: a sing along song?
- 7:57Speaker 5: No?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Like by.
- 8:00Speaker 3: No, but what you're You're missing one that I'm gonna say,
- 8:04Speaker 3: and you'd be like, okay, that one, like sports.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Was no Caroline, so that was gonna be my Sweet
- 8:13Speaker 7: Caroline was going to be like another number one seed.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I think a prayer nobody else goes.
- 8:20Speaker 2: That's true. Everybody every age knows.
- 8:25Speaker 3: So I mean it's up there. It's a one seed.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm talking about singing the whole song though sweet Caroline.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yes, is the answer here? Well that everyone sings the hook.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I think everybody sings that.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I think everybody does a whole song.
- 8:37Speaker 3: They do like a whole build up to. Okay, it's
- 8:41Speaker 3: the least in the conversation. Yes, Country Roads is up there.
- 8:44Speaker 3: If it was a sixty four team bracket, they'd be
- 8:47Speaker 3: a one seed.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yes, they were there in the mountains.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Living on a prayer is probably a solid two seed,
- 8:55Speaker 3: like a two.
- 8:56Speaker 5: It's up there, everybody singing living on a prayer, living
- 8:59Speaker 5: on a Prayer won their Ofference tournament.
- 9:01Speaker 3: They're grindy. Yeah, they found a way finished seventh. They
- 9:06Speaker 3: played great defense, and it's a banger. It might be
- 9:11Speaker 3: a one seed. I feel like they're too gritty to
- 9:13Speaker 3: be a one seed.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Though, And I feel like if we if we looked
- 9:22Speaker 7: at if we like, if we started googling this, I
- 9:24Speaker 7: don't think Country Roads is making it on any online
- 9:28Speaker 7: platforms as a top sing along.
- 9:30Speaker 2: So you think it's a little like underrated.
- 9:32Speaker 7: And underrated, but everybody sings it everywhere. It's just not pop.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Anyway, the sing along tierless coming Thursday.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Didn't mean to hijack this baseball segment, bring it back
- 9:50Speaker 7: to music.
- 9:50Speaker 3: My bad. Why you apologizing?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't know, I didn't mean it. I mean, I
- 9:58Speaker 2: hope you didn't.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Hey, this guy didn't get the show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah this is your first day.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you're a year in.
- 10:07Speaker 7: So I do think that although Sweet Caroline is a
- 10:12Speaker 7: top tier, yeah, number number one seed, definitely in the
- 10:17Speaker 7: tournament of most you know, the best sing along songs
- 10:20Speaker 7: or I'm not gonna say the best sing along songs
- 10:22Speaker 7: like the most highly the highest participation in.
- 10:25Speaker 2: The sing along song.
- 10:26Speaker 7: I do feel like there are more people that don't
- 10:30Speaker 7: like that song than Country Roads.
- 10:32Speaker 3: All Right, listen real quick. I just did it a
- 10:34Speaker 3: quick search all time group sing along songs, right, and
- 10:41Speaker 3: this is according to Billboard. Don't Stop Believing by Journey,
- 10:46Speaker 3: one Seed, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, Living on a Prayer,
- 10:51Speaker 3: Landra Hit that One bon Jovi, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
- 10:58Speaker 3: I Will Survive, and hey, Jude, definitely sing a long song.
- 11:05Speaker 7: But see, like I said, country Road is not gonna
- 11:10Speaker 7: be on there, not gonna be on the list.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Now it's got another category. Now take me home. Country
- 11:15Speaker 3: Roads is in the country category of this because the
- 11:19Speaker 3: country category it says country and Acoustic favorites Country Roads,
- 11:24Speaker 3: Friends and Low Places, Piano Man and free Falling by
- 11:27Speaker 3: Tom Petty, free Falling Good one, High Energy nineties and
- 11:31Speaker 3: two thousand anthems. Mister Brightside, Mister bright Side number one.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I want to be by Spice Girls, I Want it
- 11:39Speaker 3: that Way by the Backstreet Boys, I want to Dance
- 11:41Speaker 3: with Somebody by Whitney Houston and Dancing Queen by Abba.
- 11:46Speaker 3: There you go.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Mitchell has a good question, where does set it off
- 11:51Speaker 5: in Louisiana.
- 11:52Speaker 3: In Louisiana Top five in Louisiana. It's definitely top five
- 11:57Speaker 3: when the whole stadium singing.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah, mm hmmm. I don't know.
- 12:01Speaker 7: If you ask the the Duneham fourth grade soon to
- 12:04Speaker 7: be fifth grade class, it might be swag surfing.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Oh oh, they're bringing that back. And if you ask Emmy,
- 12:12Speaker 2: she loves it. What's her favorite song?
- 12:14Speaker 7: She likes to get on the swing, her on her
- 12:17Speaker 7: feet surfing and she just a push here.
- 12:20Speaker 2: She's like, man, I got that swag. That's a big
- 12:26Speaker 2: flint dance party, big time. That's more of like a
- 12:29Speaker 2: car dance party.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Okay, okay, talk about those Troy Trojans.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Huh am, I right, what song do they sing? No?
- 12:44Speaker 2: Probably nothing.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That's a good, good question. All right, who are we taking?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Let's go ahead and do it for cultural series, even
- 12:52Speaker 3: for the fields really upset, but Alabama and Oklahoma are
- 12:55Speaker 3: gonna win.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm taking the Mountain Manas, all right, Georgia Joe, Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 2: all right, I'll go different. I'll go to Texas, Texas.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I just like the odds, so I'm playing the odds.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Give me Oklahoma. I don't think they're gonna win it,
- 13:10Speaker 3: but I like plus seventeen hundred.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I like so you're not taking this serious.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I like that a lot. Hey, Oklahomas gonna because you
- 13:17Speaker 3: like professional sports radio, you need to make the choice.
- 13:22Speaker 2: They so he thinks gonna win because you like that.
- 13:24Speaker 3: They sing John Denver's while you're going with West Virginia.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So I can't go with odds serious. I am playing
- 13:30Speaker 3: good baseball.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I do like that we all have a different team
- 13:32Speaker 2: that's fun, uh turnover chain worthy, I think, so.
- 13:40Speaker 3: How could it not be team you last thing before
- 13:44Speaker 3: we move on, team that you don't want to win, Like,
- 13:49Speaker 3: no matter who wins, you don't want this team to win.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Mm hmmm mm hmm.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Texas okay, Landre, I kind of agree with that, just
- 14:01Speaker 5: so that they won't be closer to it, because you
- 14:06Speaker 5: know how Texas and LSU have like the Who's the
- 14:09Speaker 5: Best Baseball program?
- 14:10Speaker 4: Thing going on?
- 14:11Speaker 5: I think I agree with that just because and I
- 14:14Speaker 5: just don't like Jim Schlosnagel.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Okay, I guess missed was what was on him last year?
- 14:22Speaker 4: Slst SNAKEL SNAKEL or something something like that.
- 14:26Speaker 6: I know I picked them, only picked them to be different.
- 14:29Speaker 6: I also do not want Texas to win this.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to old Miss. Yeah, oh, I kind
- 14:34Speaker 3: of forgot the look. I like the inkle a lot.
- 14:36Speaker 3: That's the only reason. Eddie Furnace the Sun's out there
- 14:40Speaker 3: playing first base, which he had a tank yesterday. I
- 14:43Speaker 3: think it was yesterday. Maybe they four, I don't really remember.
- 14:46Speaker 3: If days running together. Uh yeah, I can't have Old
- 14:48Speaker 3: Miss winning another one. Texas is a good answer. I
- 14:51Speaker 3: probably would have gone that if y'all all would have gone,
- 14:53Speaker 3: but a gold Miss.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I think a lot of people, a lot of people
- 14:58Speaker 2: don't want all Miss to win.
- 14:59Speaker 7: Unlis you fans because they don't like Ole Miss right now, right,
- 15:02Speaker 7: there's no reason not to like them.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Like I beat him, like in, I probably would.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Have gone Texas, but to be a little different, all right,
- 15:11Speaker 3: we will step away. We've got uh god, what's what
- 15:15Speaker 3: happens at nine on Mondays? I normally we definitely didn't
- 15:20Speaker 3: all forget again.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Definitely, I don't know. I tend to tune out nine.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I left the last.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I think we're doing eight thirty maybe, I don't know.
- 15:31Speaker 3: We'll figure it out. We'll figure what's happening out at
- 15:32Speaker 3: nine o'clock. I can't really put my finger in announcement
- 15:36Speaker 3: in all camps, all caps all.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Announce it after this.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Oh I can't wait more?

- 17:12Speaker 1: You're listening to off the Bench.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Papa Captain Sancho slap.
- 17:27Speaker 2: What I really want?
- 17:29Speaker 3: What's haddening? Welcome back. We're about to go over a
- 17:35Speaker 3: list of the NFL's backup quarterbacks. A lot of people
- 17:41Speaker 3: that either play the most Saints now or on the team.
- 17:45Speaker 3: It's pretty important when you thrived in gotta be ready,
- 17:49Speaker 3: stay ready so you don't have to get ready type situation.
- 17:51Speaker 2: That's the hardest position in all the sport.
- 17:53Speaker 3: So I would say, I'd say pump returner, but teach
- 17:55Speaker 3: their own. It was pretty hard. You got like you
- 18:02Speaker 3: got ten and a half people hunter, you only get
- 18:04Speaker 3: a half that like coming down there with bad intentions
- 18:07Speaker 3: and you can't really look at them because you got
- 18:09Speaker 3: to look at the ball, you know, yep. Pretty tough
- 18:11Speaker 3: backup quarterback though, very important. You got to have one.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You got to have somebody that not only can he
- 18:19Speaker 3: go in there and play, but he's got to help
- 18:22Speaker 3: the starter. Every good backup quarterback is the person to
- 18:27Speaker 3: start or trusts more than anybody on the team, at
- 18:29Speaker 3: least from like my experience, I'm sure you had the same.
- 18:32Speaker 3: When Aaron Rodgers came off, he probably said, what did
- 18:34Speaker 3: you see? And he had to trust that what you
- 18:35Speaker 3: saw was what really happened. I've been in some situations
- 18:39Speaker 3: where you've had a younger backup quarterback. The quarterback comes
- 18:41Speaker 3: over what you see.
- 18:46Speaker 2: To look for.
- 18:47Speaker 3: So I've seen that as well. So you got to
- 18:49Speaker 3: have all those things. And so Sports Illustrated did rank
- 18:53Speaker 3: the top backup quarterbacks. They went thirty two all the
- 18:56Speaker 3: way down to one. Just kind of give you an
- 18:58Speaker 3: idea of some of this list. Kay Clubnick for the
- 19:01Speaker 3: Jets comes in at thirty two, Quinn Yours for the
- 19:04Speaker 3: Dolphins thirty one, Joe Milton for the Cowboys comes in
- 19:07Speaker 3: at thirty and then he goes Kyle Allen, Tommy DeVito
- 19:10Speaker 3: for the Patriots, Mason Rudolph for the Steelers. It's going
- 19:15Speaker 3: to kind of fast forward here. Ty Simpson twenty three
- 19:18Speaker 3: for the Rams. Let's get another name. Drew Locke seventeen
- 19:23Speaker 3: for the Seahawks. Trey Lance at fifteen for the Chargers,
- 19:27Speaker 3: which feels way too high for him. He should pa
- 19:31Speaker 3: Andy Dalkmins with the Eagle they traded for him this
- 19:33Speaker 3: offseason from the Carolina Fanthers for a seventh round pick.
- 19:36Speaker 3: In this next draft, JJ McCarthy comes in at thirteen,
- 19:40Speaker 3: Shardore Sanders comes in at twelve. We'll give you the
- 19:43Speaker 3: top ten.
- 19:43Speaker 7: Here, So hold on the fact that JJ McCarthy is
- 19:48Speaker 7: at twelve or thirteen, thirteen, thirteen and Shaudor Sanders is
- 19:52Speaker 7: at twelve kind of tells you all you need to know.
- 19:57Speaker 7: We're not ranking the best quarterbacks. We're ranking the best
- 19:59Speaker 7: backup quarterback.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:01Speaker 7: And the fact that those two that were one of
- 20:05Speaker 7: them obviously first round pick was not supposed to be
- 20:08Speaker 7: number nine, not his pick, but he was supposed to
- 20:12Speaker 7: be the starter, who I guess technically still could be.
- 20:15Speaker 7: But even if he was a starter, this list only
- 20:20Speaker 7: believes he's the thirteenth best backup quarterback in the NFL.
- 20:23Speaker 7: And Chador made the Pro Bowl and you know, I
- 20:26Speaker 7: don't stop the Shador. Hey, I got it, but like
- 20:29Speaker 7: he was going to be the twelfth best backup quarterback
- 20:32Speaker 7: in the NFL. Wild to think that those two are starters,
- 20:38Speaker 7: the projected starters. Well, one of them project sort last year.
- 20:41Speaker 7: One of them was a starter for the majority of
- 20:43Speaker 7: an entire season and made the Pro Bowl.
- 20:45Speaker 3: But still.
- 20:48Speaker 7: In the mid range backup quarterbacks. Yep, it's wild to
- 20:51Speaker 7: think about.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Davis Mills came in at eleven. Before we get to
- 20:55Speaker 3: the top ten.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Davis Mills came in front of Shador and JJ.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I give you number ten, Bud, Come on me
- 21:02Speaker 3: with Anthony Richardson.
- 21:05Speaker 6: He'd be ten if there was only ten, top ten
- 21:09Speaker 6: and he he is ten.
- 21:13Speaker 4: That's crazy. Who wrote this?
- 21:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm getting a question this author? Now the right up.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Yes, Richardson has struggled throughout his career and it's been
- 21:26Speaker 3: unable to stay available. He had a golden opportunity last
- 21:29Speaker 3: year when Daniel Jones ruptured his achilles, but he wasn't
- 21:32Speaker 3: around due to a freak accident with an elastic exercise band.
- 21:39Speaker 5: You're the ten ring, You're the You're the tenth ringed
- 21:43Speaker 5: backup quarterback.
- 21:44Speaker 4: But you can't even be the backup whenever you're needed.
- 21:47Speaker 3: The Thera band got him.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Because of the stretching bands are tough.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Now they are tough. So he comes in at number ten.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's I could poke a million holes in that, agree
- 21:58Speaker 3: a thousand holes in that. Yes, coming at number nine,
- 22:02Speaker 3: I know he's numbers are hard for him.
- 22:05Speaker 7: Number nine, I was thinking about like all these other
- 22:07Speaker 7: like I was kind of halfway listening because I'm thinking
- 22:09Speaker 7: about all these names that are like Andy Dalton, give.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Me the Red Rifle and Marcus Marrioto. Way before you
- 22:19Speaker 3: give me any of those guys, we just said.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah seriously.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Coming in number nine Taylor Jared Stidham the Denver Broncos.
- 22:29Speaker 3: At number eight Justin Fields for the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 22:35Speaker 3: And number seven Tyson Badgeant for the Chicago Bears. Good play,
- 22:40Speaker 3: get a good contract because of it. At number six,
- 22:44Speaker 3: I got Spencer Rally behind that. Right now, I'm still
- 22:54Speaker 3: shocked that Friend of the show people have not more
- 22:57Speaker 3: about Spencer Ratler. To be honest with you, he has
- 22:59Speaker 3: been on multiple times. So Spence, you did? You did?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Spence that man first question open. What's up, Bruh.
- 23:10Speaker 6: I know we're tight here, so I can call you
- 23:12Speaker 6: spend Ah.
- 23:16Speaker 3: That's a good spot to be in. The think about
- 23:18Speaker 3: where the Saints were a year ago at that position.
- 23:23Speaker 3: You had Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shuck, and you had Jake
- 23:26Speaker 3: hayn All getting first team reps in training camp, and
- 23:29Speaker 3: we were talking about, hey, guys, at some point you
- 23:32Speaker 3: have to make a move because Jake Hayner was getting
- 23:35Speaker 3: reps with the first team like two weeks in the camp,
- 23:38Speaker 3: still like it was his day to be the starter.
- 23:42Speaker 3: And so it was like, hey, this is a two
- 23:44Speaker 3: quarterback battle, Like you no disrespect to Jake Canner, but
- 23:47Speaker 3: you got to cut him loose and he's just got
- 23:50Speaker 3: to go be the scout team guy. It's got to
- 23:51Speaker 3: be between these two guys. But that's where you were.
- 23:54Speaker 3: And then now you've got a Tyler Shuck who everyone's
- 23:57Speaker 3: excited about. Looks like you have found a quarterback to
- 24:00Speaker 3: be the guy for a long time, and you've got
- 24:03Speaker 3: a quarterback that a lot of people believe is a
- 24:06Speaker 3: fringe top five backup quarterback and Spencer Rattler. It is
- 24:10Speaker 3: a very good place to be in. Certainly, when you
- 24:13Speaker 3: didn't feel like you had quarterback depth, you didn't feel
- 24:16Speaker 3: like you had maybe the guys that you wanted moving forward,
- 24:19Speaker 3: at least some of the fan base did. But now
- 24:21Speaker 3: just a year later, you look like an incredibly healthy
- 24:24Speaker 3: quarterback room.
- 24:25Speaker 7: Yeah, you got a really good, stable quarterback room and
- 24:28Speaker 7: a young quarterback room.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It's not like your backups.
- 24:32Speaker 7: This you know, fifteen year vet that you know is
- 24:35Speaker 7: going to be a good kind of coach in the room,
- 24:38Speaker 7: kind of a you know, he's a guy that can
- 24:40Speaker 7: step in and play, and like he's a young guy
- 24:42Speaker 7: and a lot of people think that are you know,
- 24:45Speaker 7: could have another shot somewhere else down the road to
- 24:48Speaker 7: potentially be a starter at least be relevant in the
- 24:51Speaker 7: league for a long time. So yeah, I mean, Saints fans,
- 24:54Speaker 7: for all the question marks just twelve months ago at
- 24:58Speaker 7: that position, you know, we're certainly in a really good spot.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Now.
- 25:01Speaker 7: It remains to be seen if Tyler Shuck's going to
- 25:05Speaker 7: be able to consistently take that next step from year
- 25:08Speaker 7: one to year two and be a potential elite quarterback
- 25:12Speaker 7: in the NFL. I guess I don't want to throw
- 25:14Speaker 7: around the word elite yet. Let's let's take it. Let's
- 25:17Speaker 7: let's take another year or two before we get to that,
- 25:19Speaker 7: but at least be in that conversation for top ten
- 25:22Speaker 7: to fifteen quarterback in the league.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Can he consistently do that?
- 25:26Speaker 3: Well?
- 25:27Speaker 7: We've seen already that he's got the mindset and the
- 25:31Speaker 7: skill set to be able to do that. But how
- 25:34Speaker 7: is you know, it's year two for him, it's year
- 25:35Speaker 7: two for Killing Moore, it's year two for this offense.
- 25:38Speaker 7: And let's not pretend that the Saints were like good
- 25:41Speaker 7: last year, so they have to be good as well
- 25:44Speaker 7: as him play really well to be able to be
- 25:47Speaker 7: considered one of the top ten, top fifteen quarterback. And
- 25:50Speaker 7: I can tell you top ten, like the NFL is
- 25:53Speaker 7: in a really healthy spot at the quarterback position, so
- 25:56Speaker 7: top ten is borderline elite type stuff. Like I right
- 26:00Speaker 7: last year, I made that top ten list every single week,
- 26:03Speaker 7: and it was one of the hardest things I did.
- 26:04Speaker 7: Like I was sat there and gave it a lot
- 26:06Speaker 7: of mental fight, and it was like who do I
- 26:08Speaker 7: take out?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Who to put in?
- 26:10Speaker 7: And it was it was challenging because you're talking about
- 26:13Speaker 7: some of the top dogs that I was ranking eight
- 26:14Speaker 7: to nine, like Jared goff like.
- 26:17Speaker 2: That's pretty It was hard to come up with that
- 26:19Speaker 2: top to list.
- 26:19Speaker 7: So if Tyler Shuck could find his way to nose
- 26:22Speaker 7: in there, that's pretty good spot.
- 26:25Speaker 2: And the Saints aren't going to be good unless he
- 26:27Speaker 2: is right.
- 26:28Speaker 7: They've got enough talent they'll win some games here and there,
- 26:31Speaker 7: but if they're not going to be good in a
- 26:35Speaker 7: threat to like a playoff threat to make a run
- 26:39Speaker 7: until he's in that top ten at least top twelve
- 26:42Speaker 7: range quarterback in the NFL. And he's got the skill
- 26:45Speaker 7: set to do it. And when I say he's got
- 26:47Speaker 7: the mindset to do it, it's how you It's how
- 26:50Speaker 7: you can operate and compete and execute when the game's
- 26:53Speaker 7: on the line. And he has shown that he can
- 26:55Speaker 7: do that, and he showed it as a rookie. And
- 26:57Speaker 7: your biggest jumps that an NFL quarterback can make is
- 27:00Speaker 7: between year one and year number two.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Right that's the biggest jump you can make.
- 27:04Speaker 7: In your entire career right there, because you're going from
- 27:08Speaker 7: it being new and fresh, everything moving so fast to
- 27:11Speaker 7: year two. You are now speaking fluent in the offense.
- 27:14Speaker 7: You have seen everything. There's no surprises anymore, and you
- 27:17Speaker 7: can just let your skill set and all the things
- 27:20Speaker 7: that you've learned, like that year one to year two
- 27:22Speaker 7: jump can be very beneficial.
- 27:25Speaker 3: So that should be already saying though for a Saints
- 27:27Speaker 3: fans that Tyler Schuck showed like he did a year ago.
- 27:32Speaker 3: And I liked the fact that, and we said it
- 27:34Speaker 3: during the draft process. I like the fact that he
- 27:37Speaker 3: was twenty six and mature and married and you know,
- 27:41Speaker 3: had his path for his life figured out. Because now
- 27:45Speaker 3: he can he's focusing on football. He's not worried about
- 27:47Speaker 3: any It's it's family obviously, but he's guys family and
- 27:50Speaker 3: it's like football. Right, He's he's done all the things.
- 27:55Speaker 3: He's twenty six years old. Ye, right, so he's got
- 27:57Speaker 3: what he wants figured out and he did what he
- 27:59Speaker 3: did it his rookie year. And I'm expecting a jump
- 28:03Speaker 3: from Tyler shock. Not that he was bad, he was
- 28:05Speaker 3: really good a year ago. But there's going to be
- 28:07Speaker 3: a jump there is based off based off our conversations
- 28:12Speaker 3: with him, his mentality, his maturity. You know that the
- 28:16Speaker 3: things that you have to do, like you're talking about,
- 28:18Speaker 3: to go from year one to year two and make
- 28:19Speaker 3: that jump, because there's guys that I feel like, oh,
- 28:22Speaker 3: I got it, I got it's going to get me
- 28:24Speaker 3: and you fired. That's what rich Pasaci always told us.
- 28:27Speaker 3: So I'm I'm excited about the growth the development, even
- 28:31Speaker 3: though I really liked what I saw a year ago.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and.
- 28:36Speaker 7: Credit to myself, I think I might have said, Wow,
- 28:38Speaker 7: I think I think I might have saved his life.
- 28:40Speaker 7: Low myself, I potentially could have saved his life. We're
- 28:45Speaker 7: at the Zurich doing the celebrity shootout. Yeah, and I
- 28:50Speaker 7: say that very loosely. Nobody really remembered who I was.
- 28:55Speaker 7: They were cheering for the Saints guys and Chris Berman,
- 28:58Speaker 7: but I was playing in it at the end.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Vite Marsha Falk is also there.
- 29:01Speaker 7: We're playing I think number eight, so it's kind of
- 29:04Speaker 7: a short part four going for the green obviously.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not there to lay out you're grown. So
- 29:09Speaker 2: I hook it a little bit to the left over.
- 29:11Speaker 7: There by the near the number nine, the par three
- 29:14Speaker 7: on the water, and he does the same thing.
- 29:16Speaker 2: So we're going over there. We gotta we got we
- 29:19Speaker 2: gotta go hit from a rough spot. Yeah, not great,
- 29:23Speaker 2: but it's near the water and he's hitting h giant snake,
- 29:27Speaker 2: no big old mosin probably I mean forty eight footer.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I mean it's huge, forty.
- 29:33Speaker 7: He's in front of us, and he's kind of slithering around,
- 29:36Speaker 7: running in front of us. And he goes and like
- 29:37Speaker 7: lays up in this little cypress tree. There's like a
- 29:40Speaker 7: little hole at the bottom of the cyber tree, goes
- 29:41Speaker 7: in like curls up in there, and I see it.
- 29:44Speaker 7: I'm like, oh boy, that's not good. And it's like
- 29:46Speaker 7: right in between us and the green, so you gotta
- 29:49Speaker 7: walk by it. He has a shot to hit my shot.
- 29:53Speaker 7: He's walking right towards that tree. The snake right there,
- 29:58Speaker 7: go around around it.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I mean, who's to say that snake doesn't come out
- 30:03Speaker 3: and bite the Saints quarterback.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Bite him three four times, maybe strangle him. I don't know.
- 30:08Speaker 3: You don't know.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I know I didn't. Nobody will know now because.
- 30:11Speaker 3: And you're not sucking the poison out, not doing it.
- 30:15Speaker 3: You got a hydration company, so snake.
- 30:22Speaker 2: You do this?
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Uh, idiots.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Biggest snake ever right there, I have ever seen rite.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Anyway, let me let me give you this right towards it.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Let me give you the rest of this list real quick. Uh.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Fernando Mendoza comes in at five. Jameis Winston comes in
- 30:51Speaker 3: at four. Two A tongue a boy Loa comes over
- 30:55Speaker 3: at three.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Are you're sure he's in the backup?
- 30:57Speaker 3: Mac Jones comes in at two? Anybody want to guess you?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Number one is he was thirty one? God, that was
- 31:09Speaker 3: in my draft class. Wow, I guess I wasn't in
- 31:11Speaker 3: that draft class. Our draft class?
- 31:17Speaker 2: Fly fly fu.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Where Joe Flack go to school? North Dakota State?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Why didn't you just throw out there? It was completely wrong?
- 31:31Speaker 3: There's two you can I'll accept one of the two
- 31:34Speaker 3: places he played at.
- 31:35Speaker 2: All right, So it's not North Dakota State.
- 31:39Speaker 3: No, I'll give you the first one. Pitt is where
- 31:42Speaker 3: he starts. Oh, yeah, I did know that.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Where do you get drafted out of?
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:45Speaker 2: It was a small school.
- 31:47Speaker 3: They've got small Michigan's helmets.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Mm hmm. See, you're one hundred percent. It's not North
- 31:54Speaker 2: Dakota State. One hundred it's not.
- 31:56Speaker 3: It's in the same division as they've been in.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Now I was on the right path.
- 32:01Speaker 3: You're fcs Okay, I don't remember. He's not getting to Delaware. Guys, Delaware,
- 32:08Speaker 3: he's not getting a Delawa.
- 32:09Speaker 2: The Blue Hens he'd be a Super Bowl quarterback again.
- 32:15Speaker 2: He was on the Texans last.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Year probably, So all right, we will step away forward.
- 32:20Speaker 3: You let me remind you brought our friends over at
- 32:21Speaker 3: ko Z KZ Blinds dot com, kt OZ blinds dot com,

- 33:00Speaker 1: Hester and Flynn, Baton, Rouge's go to for all things

- 33:08Speaker 8: One upon and be ninety up with something in my head.
- 33:14Speaker 8: You can then speed up money the phone calling. What
- 33:19Speaker 8: you said that the game shows the parting gives not
- 33:24Speaker 8: badly my eyes. Well SoC to thoughts, trusted friend.
- 33:30Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in OTV. Here live from the
- 33:33Speaker 3: Regikeen studio. Tell me lies. We did earlier have a
- 33:38Speaker 3: submission on UH on Twitter from Mark that said, for sports,
- 33:43Speaker 3: take me out to the ball game. Every seventh inning, stretch,
- 33:46Speaker 3: every stadium, every level for sports is going for sure,
- 33:51Speaker 3: get that everybody sings along by seventh inning. You're a
- 33:53Speaker 3: couple of cold pops deep all right before where you
- 34:00Speaker 3: go off on whatever squirrel you just saw. Let's go
- 34:02Speaker 3: ahead and get into some weekend winners.
- 34:06Speaker 2: That's how win it has done.
- 34:08Speaker 1: That's right.
- 34:09Speaker 7: We can't have anyone to freak out out there.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Okay, he's got a key bark apologer, got too far.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I'm by winning. I went here and I went there.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Now, what are you doing what it takes to win
- 34:22Speaker 3: a championship?
- 34:24Speaker 5: Wow?
- 34:24Speaker 2: Winning? Well, then I guess there's only one thing left
- 34:27Speaker 2: to do. What's that win the whole thing? All right?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Weekend winners. I'm gonna go with Jacoby Brissett in the
- 34:49Speaker 3: Arizona Cardinals or just the Arizona Cardinals. I'm kidding. Okay,
- 34:55Speaker 3: we did talk about that though. Jacoby Brissette, my guy,
- 35:00Speaker 3: just go to just go, just go. This might be
- 35:03Speaker 3: your last chance to be a starting quarterback. I know
- 35:06Speaker 3: the money is not what how you played last year.
- 35:09Speaker 3: You'll be able to speak on this way better than
- 35:10Speaker 3: I would. You sign a contract to be the backup.
- 35:14Speaker 3: You became a starter and you played really well, but
- 35:17Speaker 3: go win a starting job. Go do it again. And
- 35:19Speaker 3: guess what if you do it again, They'll give you
- 35:21Speaker 3: a three years, one hundred and five million dollar contract.
- 35:24Speaker 3: That's the way football goes, and you'll get set up
- 35:26Speaker 3: for the rest of your life. You've already made sixty
- 35:28Speaker 3: five million dollars in your career, so you're already set
- 35:31Speaker 3: for life. You don't know that I would hope, I
- 35:35Speaker 3: would hope, and sixty five million dollars your set for life.
- 35:37Speaker 3: So a weekend winters, the cob said in the Arizona Cardinals,
- 35:40Speaker 3: because you should be there, and now.
- 35:43Speaker 7: You are there, let's you realize that maybe I need
- 35:46Speaker 7: to get to practice because the other teams in my
- 35:48Speaker 7: division are pretty good.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they just they added a guy Osar.
- 35:51Speaker 2: He's not gonna play great this year.
- 35:53Speaker 3: What was that guy's name that added the rams? Oh? Styles, Yes, Styles,
- 35:59Speaker 3: Styles mayor styles Mett.
- 36:02Speaker 7: He had a couple of pressures last year, got a
- 36:05Speaker 7: half sack, had some good tries.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Last year, I had a lot of good tries, A
- 36:08Speaker 2: lot of good tries. Actually, I think he had what
- 36:10Speaker 2: do you have?
- 36:12Speaker 7: He had the most good trut He had forty around
- 36:14Speaker 7: forty six half sacks.
- 36:20Speaker 3: One of my ones that was going to be a
- 36:22Speaker 3: weekend loser. I didn't know if I want to do
- 36:24Speaker 3: it here or give it like a full segment. But
- 36:26Speaker 3: I don't think here it's going to be a full
- 36:28Speaker 3: segment weekend loser. I think it's going to be the
- 36:30Speaker 3: Bears fans, it looks like they're moving to Indiana.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I did see that.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it looks like they are moving to northwest Indiana. Look,
- 36:41Speaker 3: I mean the Jets and the Giants are New York.
- 36:43Speaker 3: They play in Jersey. Kansas City is moving from Missouri
- 36:46Speaker 3: to Kansas City, Kansas. Like this kind of stuff happened.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Dallas plays in Arlington, and honestly.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Like Glendale, I mean, it's not the same thing.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I think it's because it's a different in the state.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Is the and again I know the Jets and but whatever.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Soldier Fields, well, how many years old?
- 37:09Speaker 2: It's the oldest stadium in league, is it? I believe
- 37:11Speaker 2: saying it's very very old.
- 37:14Speaker 3: It's had iconic moments in that stadium. I'm not saying,
- 37:16Speaker 3: don't build a new stadium, but I don't know. Something
- 37:18Speaker 3: feels off with Chicago Bears not playing in Chicago, not
- 37:22Speaker 3: even playing in Illinois, playing in.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And it feels very strange.
- 37:27Speaker 7: Yes, it doesn't feel right, and I don't know why
- 37:32Speaker 7: two sides can't just figure it out.
- 37:34Speaker 6: Yeah, Soldier Field opened in nineteen twenty four, so over.
- 37:39Speaker 3: One hundred years old. I was going to say that,
- 37:41Speaker 3: but I felt and they felt like plans too wild.
- 37:43Speaker 3: But there you go.
- 37:44Speaker 2: I know they've had plans for a new stadium too,
- 37:46Speaker 2: like I've seen the renderingsbody is that the.
- 37:49Speaker 6: City's not giving them the proper funding, so they looked elsewhere.
- 37:53Speaker 2: It has to be.
- 37:53Speaker 7: I mean, Chicago, you're you're a really awesome city. If
- 37:56Speaker 7: you go travel to spend a little adult weekend that
- 38:01Speaker 7: you gotta figure your stuff out.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Man. Well that's that's what I'm saying.
- 38:04Speaker 6: I don't I don't know who's it faultier the way
- 38:06Speaker 6: that city is run. I'm blaming the city of Chicago
- 38:09Speaker 6: just until proven other worse.
- 38:10Speaker 7: I mean, I can't imagine that the Chicago Bears wanted
- 38:13Speaker 7: to go No, man, I know their facilities not even
- 38:17Speaker 7: in Chicago.
- 38:18Speaker 2: They're north of Chicago. They just go down there to play. Yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 2: I'm it's actually really nice.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Huh. Have you ever been to the facility. It's super nice.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I know Craig Seltz used to your hunt right outside
- 38:27Speaker 2: of their facility in the woods. I don't think he's
- 38:30Speaker 2: supposed to what I was supposed to say that.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I don't know set your limitations although what he was doing.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, all right.
- 38:40Speaker 3: We can don't feel right though. I mean you somebody
- 38:42Speaker 3: that played in that stadium Aaton, it just didn't feel right.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Potentially not gonna.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Be in Chicago.
- 38:47Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I hate it too, It doesn't it's not right.
- 38:50Speaker 7: They should get it worked out. They should get it
- 38:52Speaker 7: figured out. And you know it's gonna be weird. You're
- 38:55Speaker 7: gonna be the Chicago Bears. But playing Indiana, that ain't right?
- 39:01Speaker 2: All right? We can winner.
- 39:05Speaker 7: There have been thirteen horses in the history of horse
- 39:08Speaker 7: racing to win the Triple Crown. There have been numerous
- 39:12Speaker 7: nearly fifty almost Triple Crown winners. That's win in two
- 39:17Speaker 7: of the three Triple Crown races. And we got another
- 39:20Speaker 7: one ad another one of the list. The horse, Golden Tempo,
- 39:24Speaker 7: winner of the Kentucky Derby, also wins the Preakness this
- 39:27Speaker 7: past weekend. I'm sorry, when's the Belmont? This past weekend,
- 39:30Speaker 7: winning two of the three Triple Crown races. The horse
- 39:33Speaker 7: actually did not even go for the Triple Crown because
- 39:36Speaker 7: it didn't race in the second leg at the Preakness.
- 39:40Speaker 7: They held the horse. It was two weeks after the Derby.
- 39:42Speaker 7: It was tired. They wanted to get it rested, and
- 39:45Speaker 7: that gamble paid off. Golden Tempo wins the Derby and
- 39:47Speaker 7: then this past weekend wins. The horse went off at
- 39:51Speaker 7: six to one odds, come from the back, just like
- 39:55Speaker 7: it did at the Derby and the Derby, if you remember,
- 39:57Speaker 7: he was last place the entire thing until the back
- 40:00Speaker 7: edge and then explodes.
- 40:01Speaker 2: At the end.
- 40:01Speaker 7: Well, it did the same thing. A great finishing horse
- 40:04Speaker 7: and uh.
- 40:05Speaker 2: With a great race. And so.
- 40:08Speaker 7: Shout out to Golden Tempo the horse, but more importantly
- 40:12Speaker 7: the owners, because now you are a two of the
- 40:15Speaker 7: three Triple Crown races are yours, and now you can
- 40:19Speaker 7: just sit back and watch that horse mate for life
- 40:22Speaker 7: and make five hundred thousand dollars every time he does
- 40:26Speaker 7: so good for y'all, But no exciting, exciting race. And yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 7: that's fun. It's always fun when you got a dominant
- 40:34Speaker 7: horse that you can win a couple of the triple
- 40:36Speaker 7: ground races. Hell yeah, especially in that fashion too, like
- 40:39Speaker 7: coming from behind, Like that's pretty electric stuff.
- 40:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like Titan and I should wait till
- 40:47Speaker 5: the next On the.

- 42:26Speaker 2: Yeah in the last second.
- 42:28Speaker 5: My week and winter, we're gonna have to softball fields
- 42:32Speaker 5: Oklahoma City, Texas back to back champions in softball. And
- 42:38Speaker 5: although I can't get behind the baseball program being good
- 42:41Speaker 5: just because they're like way too close to LSU on it.
- 42:44Speaker 5: I you know, I grew up in Austin area and
- 42:48Speaker 5: Kat Austerman was my goat back in the day, so
- 42:51Speaker 5: like I have a soft spot for Texas softball program,
- 42:55Speaker 5: and that program's back to being one of the top
- 43:00Speaker 5: in the country. And they just won back to back
- 43:03Speaker 5: national championships. Same matchup Texas Tech. They won it in
- 43:07Speaker 5: two games, So shout out to them. And then Teagan Caavin,
- 43:11Speaker 5: she won back to back most Outstanding Players in the
- 43:14Speaker 5: Women's College World Series.
- 43:15Speaker 3: So those are my weekend well done, my weekend winner.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Weekend winner.
- 43:22Speaker 2: You could go to.
- 43:23Speaker 6: New York Knicks, but I mean, look, everybody knows you're
- 43:25Speaker 6: you're up to. Oh you go back to New York,
- 43:27Speaker 6: that's a big time for them, But I'm gonna go.
- 43:29Speaker 6: Something that happened on Thursday, Virginia Tech Athletics got a
- 43:32Speaker 6: seventy five million dollar donation, the biggest single donation the
- 43:36Speaker 6: school's had. It will be majority directed towards athletics. This
- 43:41Speaker 6: came from anonymously. Apparently a four generation Virginia Tech family
- 43:46Speaker 6: is going towards multiple initiatives. It's part of a recently
- 43:49Speaker 6: approved two hundred and twenty nine million dollar investment in athletics. Look,
- 43:53Speaker 6: they just hired James Franklin in the offseason. They hope
- 43:56Speaker 6: he's going to do big things. Virginia Tech has not
- 43:58Speaker 6: won double digit games in football since twenty sixteen, so
- 44:01Speaker 6: they're coming up on ten years on that. But a
- 44:03Speaker 6: huge donation and they are putting a lot of money
- 44:06Speaker 6: towards athletics up there in Blacksburg. So we can winner
- 44:08Speaker 6: Virginia Tech athletics.
- 44:12Speaker 3: That's almost hard to believe. That's that just because like
- 44:15Speaker 3: they just felt like they were ten wins every single year.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Now they didn't go win championships with the ten wins,
- 44:20Speaker 3: but it felt like like every single year they're winning
- 44:23Speaker 3: at least in games.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's football. I mean college football's, in my opinion,
- 44:29Speaker 2: more fun when Virginia Tech's.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Good for one of those teams, for sure, I would
- 44:32Speaker 3: agree with that.
- 44:33Speaker 7: There's a you know, there's a couple of handfuls of
- 44:35Speaker 7: teams throughout the country. I'm always like, man, I hope
- 44:37Speaker 7: they're hope they're relevant. At least is James Franklin to
- 44:41Speaker 7: want to get them there. We're gonna find out.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Also, World Cup starts this week.
- 44:47Speaker 5: Oh oh, I think we're gonna get some raising Caines
- 44:51Speaker 5: World Cup swag.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, oh yeah.
- 44:54Speaker 5: So in she texted me asking if we were going
- 44:57Speaker 5: to talk about the World Cup, and I was like, well,
- 44:58Speaker 5: Jake is definitely going to definitely.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Yeah in by swag. Do you mean maybe it's just
- 45:02Speaker 2: some tendis.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Maybe Mexico and South Africa from Mexico City is going
- 45:09Speaker 3: to be the first game. Who is Mexico and South Africa.
- 45:12Speaker 4: I'm going from Mexico there, We're going all right?
- 45:15Speaker 3: Uh? Then you got the check versus South Korea in
- 45:19Speaker 3: game number two. Then the US plays on Friday at
- 45:23Speaker 3: eight pm America. Sorry, Taylor, I know you hate that.
