Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to another edition of Into the Net FC.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: My name is Alex Al-Kazzaz and I'm also known as the Bear of Texas.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the big story of this episode is the sudden passing of Liverpool Forward Diogo Jota.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: And aside from that, I will discuss the FIFA Club World Cup quarter finals, and I will give my semi-finals preview.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to start off by honoring the life and the career of Diogo Jota.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I will pay tribute to him and I will honor him.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Upon waking up and seeing this news, I just could not believe it.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: I just could not believe it.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: It was just completely shocking.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: Diogo Jota in the prime of his career.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: Just got married, a father of three had just accomplished so much, not only for Liverpool but for his, but for the national team of Portugal.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: Diego Jota, his whole life was still ahead of him, and he still had a hell of a career ahead of him as well.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: He had already accomplished so much representing Liverpool and his native Portugal, and he was well on his way to accomplish and a whole lot more.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: And out of nowhere, all of a sudden, he and his younger brother die tragically in a car accident in Spain.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: Unbelievable.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fine back to tears, y'all.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: He was twenty-eight years old.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty-eight years old, and he just got married, and he had three little kids.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is tragic.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: for his family, for his friends, for his country, for Liverpool, his teammates, for the fans, it's tragic.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, he's an entire life and career was ahead of him.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: He was only twenty-eight years old.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: And everything that he accomplished so far was just the beginning, and I can't stress that enough.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Everything that he accomplish a Liverpool will never be forgotten.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: His journey at Antfield really truly tells a story.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: And when he arrived at Liverpool in twenty twenty, for what was forty-one million pounds, I believe in
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: He played over a hundred and eighty games for Liverpool scored over sixty goals over five seasons with a club and he helped them win the Premier League last season along with one FA Cup and two ESL Cup titles and of course he was part of the team that reached the Champions League final three years ago.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: And for Portugal he has won the Nation League twice just most recently a couple weeks ago.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: So when a span of a month, he wins the Premier League.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: He wins the nation's league.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: He gets married and he tragically dies.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry to his family.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: I said my most deepest and most sincere condolences to his friends and to his family.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in my case, Djogo Djota is one of the many players that inspired me to just love the game as a whole.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody knows the kind of football fan that I am.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: I have my teams.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's those teams close to my heart.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I prefer to be a fan of the game to where I don't have an official favorite team.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: I just love the game.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I have to cover from two perspectives as a sports writer and as a fan.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: And Diogo Jota gave me a lot to talk about.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Liverpool gave me a lot to talk about along with many other teams.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: But Dojo Jota, like many other players that I've covered, Dojo Jota is one of a kind.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: He was unique.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: And right now, I just feel like as I said, he is because you know what?
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: While he may be gone, he still is one of our favorites.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: He always will be.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I'm just completely, Beth will get up.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fine, Beth, I'm fine back to tears right now.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: I really am because
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do you go Jota again, one of a kind?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing but respect for him.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't stop saying, I'm sorry.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what I saw this, I, I prayed.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: I prayed for Diego's family.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: The situation is just so brutal.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: So brutal.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Just out of, out of nowhere, out of nowhere.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: And from what I understand, he was actually on his way back to England for preseason training.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: And according to research, he had recently undergone a minor, I think a long surgery, and he could not fly.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's why he and his brother were driving in Spain to take a ferry back to England.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just again, I can't stop saying it, but yes, according to research he recently undergone minor lung surgery in Porto.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right before he got married and he was on medical advice not to fly, so obviously again he had to go back to England because he was prepared for preseason training.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: Again, in the sport of football, the heartly is at offseason, okay?
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, some players don't even get it offseason at all, especially for the players that have to represent their countries, whether it's in the World Cup or the Euro or whatever.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Some players don't get time off from the sport if they do.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's maybe just a couple of weeks and that's it.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly the offseason is a couple of weeks.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: But I think everyone knows what I'm trying to say.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: And on the Fourth of July, obviously a day that's very important to me, the Fourth of July Independence Day here in the United States of America, a wake was held for the two brothers, where hundreds of relatives, friends, and public figures, even the Portuguese Prime Minister and President gathered to pay their respects.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: Do you go Chota is a national hero.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now, someone say, be sure to say, is Alex because he still is.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Just because he's dead as I mean, we shouldn't say he wasn't hero.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you go jota is a hero?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: He is a hero.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: He always will be.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: Not just in Portugal, not just in Liverpool, not just in Europe, but around the world.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: And not just a hero in the game of football, but he's going to be a sports hero over all and all sports and all of athletics.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Diogo Jota made an impact.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: He left his mark and his legacy is there.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: While he still had a lot more left to accomplish and there's no dynamite mind, he would have accomplished a whole lot more.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: He left a legacy of true unique and illustrious success.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: I am so grateful for everything that he has done, especially for me personally because as I said, in a sports, in a sports rider's perspective, Diyoga Jota gave me a lot to cover a lot to talk about.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, Diyoga Jota helped boost my career.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: He helped boost this show by getting me so much to talk about.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: He made a lot of things happen on the show.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of players, a lot of clubs have benefited and boosted the success of into the net FC.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: So Jogo Jota gave me so much, just like a lot of other players have.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: So Jogo Jota deserves a lot of credit for me.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: I can credit all the other players and clubs, and everybody that has given me some content to talk about.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: And never ever did I think that I would be here right here talking about Jogo Jota after he tragically passed away.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: I was actually getting ready to talk more about Jogo Jota in this coming season based on the impact that he does on the pitch.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's no doubt on my mind, he'd have done great this coming season.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still in shock.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still in shock.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: And to see his accomplishments, again, won the Premier League last season was the runner-up three years ago won the FA Cup in twenty twenty two a two-time EFL Cup champion as well as the runner-up last season as well and was also the runner-up in the championship three years ago as well.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was the Premier League player of the month in January of last year.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: Again, these accomplishments stay something.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: But again, there's no doubt in my mind.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: He would have accomplished a whole lot more.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: He was destined to.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: He was primed to.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: He was going to for God's sake.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, it won't happen.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know what?
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: We'll never forget him.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: We'll never forget everything that he's done.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: While he could have done more, he did a lot.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: Diogo Giota had a unique and illustrious career that was tragically cut short.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: But despite that, I love them.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: Again, my deepest and most sincere condolences to his friends and to his family, and of course to his teammates.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very sad, y'all.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very, very sad about the situation.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I never thought that I would be doing an episode quite soon to where I would be honoring his life.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that one day I would be on the show honoring this career once he retired.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: That was always a plan.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: I plan on doing that for all the players.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, as much as I can, again, I want to schedule and sometimes know something's happens.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what, when it comes to these big players, you know, I try to do this to every single player that is well known.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: When they retire from the game, I want to take the time to honor their career.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: And in Joe God Jota's case, I never thought it would be so soon.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: I never thought it would be so soon.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: My good friend of my mentor, Mr. Steve Adams is a huge fan of Liverpool.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: He was shocked and know that he's that too.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: My two buddies from England, Paul and Stephen, both of whom were from Liverpool, their shocked as well, and their sad.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: The fiercely opinionated Mr. Jostrick Swain, Uncle Mad, the pride of Canada himself as her David Scappon, all my buddies, all my football fan buddies, we are all sad, and we are all mourning the loss of yoga, jota, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, and his teammates.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Once again, do you go Jota?
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: Rest in peace, my dude.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: Rest in peace.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: And thank you.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for everything.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: God rest your beautiful soul.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: For those of you actually watching on YouTube or if you're watching this on Spotify, because I put the video version on Spotify.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Again, you guys have seen my facial expression.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: So y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all did a good this is for me.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and part of me regrets that I didn't do this episode as soon as possible, but you know what?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: I thought for a second, maybe, you know, the thought of maybe saying, okay, maybe it's not worth it.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, I am going to pay tribute.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I am going to acknowledge Djota.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: And again, do you go?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: I honor you.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: I love you.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: Rest in peace, my dude.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: God rest your beautiful soul.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: And once again, my deepest and most sincere condolences to his family, to his friends, to his teammates.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: My thoughts and prayers go out.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's move on to the FIFA Club World Cup.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I apologize, and I'm getting choked up with everything, and I'm just fighting back those tears.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's just too much.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's too much.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I told myself, and I apologize for the language, but I'll be damned if I am not gonna honor a player that has really made an impact on me personally and professionally for my career.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right, the FIFA Club World Cup quarter finals.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, two particular games I really have nothing to say that, you know, Fluminensea really pulled it off by advancing the final four with a two-to-one win over Al Hilao.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: But nothing can be taken away from Al Hilao.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: The great run speaks for itself.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: And Fluminensea is just continuing to build on their beautiful run as well.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: And Fluminensea is in the final four.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: And Fluminensea will play Chelsea on the eighth of July.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: In other words, this coming Tuesday.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's no Chelsea beat Palmeras.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, one Brazilian club advanced to the final four and another one went home.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: And the way Chelsea won this one is a little bit frustrating because Palmeras had to score an own goal in the eighth or third minute that gave the advantage to Chelsea.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's not good when a result of a game has to go this way.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: What a team gets the advantage to do an own goal by the opposing team.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not really really good for Chelsea either.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: Chelsea's looked, they've looked okay.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's unfortunate for Palmetas that had to end this way.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: And for Fulmanensei, well, Fulmanensei knows how to play very, very well.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's scoring two goals off of three shots on target, and now he'll all had longer ball possession.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: Fulmanensei is really playing a very unique style of football right now.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, style very well known in South America would presume specifically in Brazil,
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now we all know the style played in South America is a whole lot different than the style played in Europe.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I've talked about on this program how we've seen South American teams really give the Europeans a hard time.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: When the when the styles of play clash and one team just confuses the other and sometimes the game is hard to watch and hard to hard to follow and hard to examine in my case.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well that's what makes the challenges very unique and quite frankly makes it exciting.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: But Flummer then saved, Ellie Law really, not much to save, and again, two of these games is really not much to say.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the other two games, there's definitely a lot to say.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now, of course, PSG vs. Pyramine could be one, and the other one is Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: Real Madrid really almost cracked the bed, I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: But PS Chief is his buyer meeting, and I gotta say, I'm actually glad to say that as I'm recording on this lovely Saturday evening, I was at work today, and it was very, very slow, and I had to act as both boss or end bar back, because it was so slow.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: But thankfully, because it wasn't so busy that I was actually able to watch, I was able to watch the games consistently.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, probably sounds like I'm on, they not have their breakthrough to late in the game, but they had their breakthrough.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: and unfortunately for Peli Sanjamao, not one but two players got sent off in this one.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: William Pacho and Luca Hernandez, which means both will not be able to take part in the semi-finals against Real Madrid.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's right, PSG takes on Real Madrid.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now obviously this is this game is a case of missed opportunities.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: Firemenic had five shots on target and could not make any of them count.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: Gianluigi, daughter Ruma, kept a beautiful clean sheet.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: But Parishanjama also missed chances of their own.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think at one point Uspendembele came this close, this close from scoring.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: At least I believe it was Uspendembele.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: I know those weren't prepared for PSG that came this close from scoring and did not, and the ball did not go in.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, it just barely missed the freaking crossbar.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: If that part, if the crossbar is that point, I'm trying to say, as you know how the goal post goes like this, like that.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: So you know, one of the sides, if that's considered the crossbar as well, and now I'm being a making the fool of myself, but bottom line is I believe it was Uspendan Belly that came very, very, very, very close to scoring.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now,
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: If it truly was them belly, which again, I believe it was them in Dembelly scored a goal in the sixth minute, a stoppage time.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: So in this case, Dembelly certainly achieved redemption.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Does it do a love open the score in the seventh minute?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: That was a beautiful one.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely beautiful.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: Disney do it twenty years old i mean score it's going the way he did in the championship final gets into malan i mean it did it did it do it is just really get started for lip-allies y'all so i'm certainly looking forward to see what he does this coming season saving with usbendem bella and but i'd gladly buff kola so i'll say i've got my sights sent on the on the french players but also i mean overall the likes of a joe nevez kofarot scelia name so many players just to keep an eye out on
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: Warren Zayat, Emory, man.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: So, probably sounds like it will be looking to build on their success from this season.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately for PSG, the run, well, part of it, first after this game, I thought the run might come to an end and I'm saying this prematurely because PSG takes on Real Madrid.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's unfortunate for Bayern Munich that it had to end this way.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Bayern Munich just could not convert their scoring chances.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, it's interesting enough, look at Hernandez came off the bench and you know, it's pretty embarrassing to come off the bench and get a red card because that means you will not be partaking against Real Madrid.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, Pacho, William Pacho, the the the the twenty three year old Ecuadorian defender obviously is will not be taking part.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: So what does that mean for PSG?
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: So don't you have to ask yourself who who fills in?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, no cloud of a nondes is on a bench.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: So the fact that you had one starter and one backup sent off in this one, I mean, that's already bad enough for PSG.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: So you ask yourself who fills in who fills in for William Pacho?
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: But now, the reality of certainly inflict some damage, but you know, still new no mendes is still there.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: Marquignos is still there.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: Hakimi.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: No, and over exactly how Luca Hernandez got, um, got that record.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: I remember those replays were, um,
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it was Thomas Mueller that actually took a, took a, took a kick to the face.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, at first it seemed that Bayern Munich was, was going to be awarded a penalty, but VAR obviously said otherwise.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not exactly sure how Bayern Munich's got awarded that penalty.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I first, I was from that move, but then it was decided that no, no, no penalty was given for Bayern Munich, which was a surprise.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, that thing didn't look a little bit nasty, but I'm not sure exactly what made it decide that no penalty for Bayern Munich.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's just that they're although although that penalty actually kind of came in way late in the game like in the eleventh minute of stoppage time.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: Luca Hernandez got the red card in the second minute of stoppage time so.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that that foul that that's supposed to fall involved in Mueller is a whole lot different than the the play that got Luca Hernandez a straight red card.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Barron really gave it to give it everything they had.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think one of the key talking points is, uh, Jamal Muziyawa, I think around the, between the twenty and thirty of minutes, suffered an injury and had to be taken out.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: Barn Munich's midfield, you know, couldn't really produce much.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the defense looked solid all the way on late in the game.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: PSG was finally able to convert two goals.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Harry Kane, you know, someone say Harry Kane seemed MIA in this one.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like, I mean, I'll be honest, I didn't see too much of Harry Kane.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he was there.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: In my case, it's unfortunate that Miguel Olese was unable to make an impact as well.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: But it just seemed as though like prior minutes, just really, it just wasn't their day.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, prior minutes, you know, try to, you know, tell us will start off on the bench.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I think, I think this was officially Thomas Mueller's final game with Bayern Munich.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Because Bayern Munich is now out of the FIFA club world cup.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's unfortunate that he had to end this way for Bayern Munich and for Thomas Mueller, but the PSG is just looking to keep them momentum going.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: And PSG is now in the court in the same finals against Real Madrid.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: And Real Madrid took care of Borussia Dortmund.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's interesting.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: Two players, with the last name Garcia scored in this one for Real Madrid, Gonzalo Garcia and Fran Garcia.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: And for Gonzalo Garcia, this was actually his fourth goal scored in the tournament, and it said that this was his fourth goal in five games.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: So Gonzalo Garcia, who's been filling in for killing the Bopay, has been doing a fantastic job really, truly taking advantage of the opportunity.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: Now, killing Bopay played in this one, came off the bench, and actually scored a goal in the fourth minute at stoppage time.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: But Gonzalo Garcia has actually been filling in for killing and Bob A from a starting position perspective.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: And Gonzalo's been doing great.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the first school was brilliant.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then seeing Frank Garcia scored the other one.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that was good.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: That was great as well.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Now, and Bob A's goal actually did not see down when because you know, I actually left work, but before the second half started.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually didn't get a chance to see just how great Killing Boppies goal was, but it was just finally good to see Killing Boppies score a goal in the FIFA club world cup.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Real Madrid had a two to think, two nothing lead for the longest time.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then I saw when I looked back and I saw that when Maximilian Bayer
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: put worse adorban on the board, two minutes later, killing the Bob A made it three to one for Real Madrid, but stoppitch time just seemed not taking forever in the eighth minute to stoppitch time.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Seru Gorasi cut it to three to two off of a penalty.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: And Dean Häusin was sent off two minutes prior with a straight red card.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it was.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: and in ball play got a yellow card as well so much for exactly uh... how that penalty again uh... how that penalty cut kind of got set but it was actually in ball play that got a yellow card in in the eighth minute stop at some in two minutes prior dean hoisin got a red card so and you'll kill and boppy's goal came from an assist from goulard so
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, Real Madrid is kind of basically still trying to pick up the pace a little bit.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're still having some issues, but from the most part, in this game, it's worse or durable, and they seem to be doing fine, especially on defense, because it wasn't until the end of those of surge.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: Now, get without that penalty, it would have been three to one.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Real Madrid, too, and this is another case of this opportunities, because out of eight shots on target, they made only three goals count.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: They only made count three times.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: and door moong got two goals of a five shots on target and one of them obviously was a penalty.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: So Real Madrid was definitely being challenged at MetLife Stadium in the shadows of New York City.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: But Real Madrid was able to fight through.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: So now the question is, who will make it to the final, which is also going to be at MetLife Stadium in the shadows of New York City, just across the Hudson River?
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: Who's gonna make it to the final?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: Between PSG and Real Madrid.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, this is obviously the semi-final that we wanted to see.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is the Champions League final that we wanted to see last year in twenty twenty four.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: This was the Champions League final we wanted to see last year.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: We definitely wanted to see PSG versus Real Madrid, and to say we find those in the Champions League, but Real Madrid was eliminated by Arsenal.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: So if I hadn't been for that, we would have seen Real Madrid versus PSG in the Champions League semifinals, and PSG probably would have destroyed Real Madrid, and as far as I'm concerned, PSG could very well actually do that.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I have PSG over Real Madrid.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if BFG can certainly solve this particular dilemma involving the defense because of two players being sent off and being suspended for the same finals.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: Flemonensea business Chelsea anything can happen.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: Flemonensea might have a chance, but Chelsea might actually pull off this one, but it wouldn't be surprised if Flemonensea did it.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, Flemonensea could pull off the ups and win the entire thing.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: It would soon be an embarrassment for your help, but there's three European clubs left and one Brazilian club.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: PSG could very well be on their way to winning the FIFA Club World Cup.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: If they beat Real Madrid, then there's no reason for them to not win the entire thing.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: But my gut feeling says that PSG is going to win it.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, PSG is the favorite.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not only on paper, but obviously from a realistic standpoint, Real Madrid can certainly pull it off.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like this game can still go either way, but I feel like the edge is certainly in PSG's favor.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to wait, see me.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: PFC was able to beat Bayern Munich in a very brilliant way.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: Real Madrid, the same thing can't really be said for Real Madrid.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just barely getting by, Borussia Dortmund.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, for most of the game, Real Madrid held a two-nothing lead.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, there was a bit of a surge for Borussia Dortmund.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: So, Real Madrid's weaknesses cannot be overlooked.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, I think PSG is going to go to the final.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, my gut feeling says it's going to be PSG versus Chelsea.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what?
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: It could be PSG versus Chelsea.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: It could be PSG versus Fulmanense Day.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: It could be Chelsea versus Real Madrid.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: It could be Fulmanense versus Real Madrid.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: Anything.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean anything can happen.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: And wherever the case is, well, PSC versus Real Madrid next Wednesday is the game I'm looking forward to the most out of these two left.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: The final, of course, is going to be next Sunday, July thirteenth at two o'clock.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: And that Sunday, I am working a double all we're working from ten a.m.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: to probably about one a.m.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: the next day.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be at work that long.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: I got to do what I got to do.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's about paying the bills.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: As far as paying the bills go, I'm also counting on that through this show as well.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: But my final picks for the semi-finals is Chelsea and Barri Sanjama.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: It could be a league ever since the Premier League and the Champions League.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if Real Madrid decides to pull off the upset, saving with flamenense.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Again, whatever happens, I believe when I see it, and anything can happen.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: Anything can happen.
