Tropical Storm Cristobal just made its debut as the third named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, forming far out in the northern subtropical Atlantic — no coastal threat here. It’s heading east-northeast, slowing down, and drifting away from the U.S., with forecasters predicting it’ll weaken and vanish by Thursday.
