- 0:06Speaker 1: what is the dumbest way You've injured yourself? What is
- 0:09Speaker 1: the dumbest way? Yeah, I just quickly. I was swinging
- 0:14Speaker 1: on a tetherball pole, you know, like the kind that
- 0:18Speaker 1: are waited in a tire tire cement and you pull
- 0:21Speaker 1: it down and then you run and you can fling
- 0:23Speaker 1: yourself around.
- 0:24Speaker 2: That doesn't seem smart, Well it wasn't.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And I and I and it stopped suddenly and I
- 0:28Speaker 1: went right into it and broke my tooth off, just
- 0:30Speaker 1: broke it right off out the front tooth.
- 0:32Speaker 2: And then there was another one.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I was hanging upside down I'll buy my knees in
- 0:36Speaker 1: a playground swing set from the top bar, not realizing
- 0:40Speaker 1: that I couldn't get.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Down, and I fell and broke my arm.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And then I was on an ice slide after church,
- 0:48Speaker 1: on an ice slide and I sliding down the driveway
- 0:50Speaker 1: and broke my arm. And then just two days ago,
- 0:53Speaker 1: I was chewing on an atomic fireball and broke the
- 0:56Speaker 1: crown of my tooth.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Is that why you said, doctor Carroll? Yesterday?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going, but I have to go back today, man.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And I thought mine was.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Bad stupid ways of injuring yourself.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Hey guys, Katie, I want to give yours real quick

- 1:12Speaker 5: I came. I came into work one day in a
- 1:14Speaker 5: straight leg knee brace out of nowhere. I fell out
- 1:18Speaker 5: of a tree trying to get a drunk friend out
- 1:20Speaker 5: of the tree.
- 1:21Speaker 4: And I tore my a CL in half and off
- 1:23Speaker 4: the bone.
- 1:24Speaker 5: I ripped my well did I obliterated my m CL
- 1:27Speaker 5: and then I have a torn meniscus still, so I
- 1:31Speaker 5: have a cadaver a cl and then I have half
- 1:34Speaker 5: of my hamstring that was cut.
- 1:35Speaker 4: It was cut in half to cover where.
- 1:37Speaker 5: The MCL is, and then I had to restrengthen my hamstring.
- 1:40Speaker 2: No, but I mean, is this now, this isn't so dumb.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Really falling out of a tree is put dumb?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Well, No, you were trying to help somebody.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I sure was. And guess what the drunk friend got out. Fine,
- 1:49Speaker 4: you were, I.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Don't think it was. I don't think you were. I
- 1:52Speaker 2: think you were there trying to help I was, I think.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So all right, let's go to Anthony. Hello Anthony, Hi Anthony, Yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 1: good Anthony. What happened? How How dumb were you?
- 2:05Speaker 6: I was helping U my neighbor's sixpence. Their fence was
- 2:10Speaker 6: exposed with their backyard and they had a trampoline and
- 2:13Speaker 6: all the kids were around asking me to go jump
- 2:15Speaker 6: on it. Went and did a couple of backlips playing,
- 2:17Speaker 6: and then I stepped off the tramp onto a route
- 2:20Speaker 6: and shattered my heel bone. O nine screws and the
- 2:23Speaker 6: plate put in it.
- 2:24Speaker 7: Yeah, couldn't walked like eight months.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, pretty dumb, dumb.
- 2:29Speaker 7: Ye dark dark cave.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Thank you, thanks Anthony, Thanks Anthony.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Uh.
- 2:35Speaker 8: Let's see, while out camping, I was making cocktails.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I had two.
- 2:40Speaker 8: All I had was blocks of ice instead of crushed ice,
- 2:43Speaker 8: so naturally I used a large chef's knife to break
- 2:47Speaker 8: break it off from the smaller pieces. Worked fine for
- 2:50Speaker 8: the little bit, then fifteen stitches at the r Yeah yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 8: all right, let's go to Tricia, Hellrica, Tricia?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Where you calling from?
- 3:00Speaker 1: By the way, Hi, I'm up and logan, Okay, what's
- 3:04Speaker 1: your story?
- 3:06Speaker 9: So I dropped a twenty pounds frozen turkey on my
- 3:11Speaker 9: toe and broke off bones in it.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Wow and ruined thanksgiving?

- 3:18Speaker 10: Man?
- 3:19Speaker 8: Right, I mean it's like a bully.
- 3:21Speaker 9: Yelth the F word so loud in the store, and
- 3:24Speaker 9: my daughter was like, oh my.
- 3:25Speaker 2: God, oh you were in this in a store.
- 3:28Speaker 9: It fell through the bottom of the bag right on
- 3:31Speaker 9: my tow.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Tricia.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Oh, let's see. This is Jay the former intern. When
- 3:38Speaker 8: I was like seven, I tried to throw a pencil
- 3:40Speaker 8: with my toe. Tried to throw a pencil with my
- 3:43Speaker 8: toes for no particular reason.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I hadn't.
- 3:47Speaker 8: I ended up getting it lodged in my foot and
- 3:50Speaker 8: the tip broke off. It was in my foot for
- 3:52Speaker 8: about a month until the infection got bad enough I
- 3:55Speaker 8: had to have it surgically removed.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I don't know if I can stand this. It's like
- 4:00Speaker 1: one of ours makes me cringe. Let's see, let's go
- 4:04Speaker 1: to Wren. Wren is here, Hi, Wren, Hi, here you stood?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Where are you calling from?
- 4:12Speaker 11: Calling from Taylorsville.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Okay, what's your story.
- 4:16Speaker 11: When I was a teenager, about fourteen, I was cutting potatoes.
- 4:21Speaker 7: I thought it'd be fun to throw a potato up
- 4:23Speaker 7: in the air frank.
- 4:26Speaker 10: Style.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 7: I didn't get my other hand out of the way.
- 4:29Speaker 11: Splice my thumb right down to the boat.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Wow, that's really dumb. Years later, still got a scar
- 4:37Speaker 2: on my pretty dumb wren, pretty dumb. Thank you.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Wow, it's nice that we can laugh about it in retrospective.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh yes, let's go to Eric. Hey, Eric, where are
- 4:49Speaker 1: you calling from? Hey?
- 4:51Speaker 7: I mean Taylor's Bill.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Okay, what's your story?
- 4:54Speaker 11: Okay?
- 4:54Speaker 5: Still?
- 4:54Speaker 12: About a year ago, I was dealing with a hernie
- 4:56Speaker 12: at a disc I could barely walk. I got the
- 5:00Speaker 12: cordone shot MRI accupuncture practor right right going to Mexico
- 5:05Speaker 12: in July. So I finally upright, And four days before
- 5:10Speaker 12: my trip, I thought it would be a good idea
- 5:11Speaker 12: to move a couch by myself, so I reinjured it
- 5:15Speaker 12: and I spent the whole Mexico trip in a wheelchair.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Oh really, really dumb, dumb, dumb dumb, All right, thank you,
- 5:24Speaker 1: thank you.
- 5:26Speaker 8: Let's see dumbass injury removing a sock. From removing a
- 5:29Speaker 8: sock with one finger, I snapped the tendon that keeps
- 5:34Speaker 8: the tip of my finger straight. It's called mallet finger
- 5:37Speaker 8: or hammer finger. Required eight months in a splint. Worst
- 5:42Speaker 8: part is I'm a guitar player and this was my
- 5:45Speaker 8: fret hand, so I struggle to play for over a year.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Wow, just taking your sock off with one finger. Never
- 5:52Speaker 2: do it that way.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Well, there you go, that's what we're looking for in
- 5:56Speaker 8: the X pole.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I knew a guy who was graduate school with me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: He had a big scar down the front of his chest,
- 6:03Speaker 1: and I said, did you have heart surgery or something?
- 6:05Speaker 1: He said, no. I took a big hit of marijuana
- 6:08Speaker 1: one time and I was holding it in and.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I reaped across the table for some potato chips, and
- 6:14Speaker 2: it's my breastbone just split. Yeah. Wow, sounds like a lie,
- 6:21Speaker 2: doesn't it. Yeah he had heart surgery. Yeah, yeah, he
- 6:26Speaker 2: probably did. Or maybe he's.
- 6:27Speaker 8: Messing with you anyway.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Let's begin with milw. Hello, Mi, Hi, Milow. What's the
- 6:33Speaker 2: what's the dumb thing you did to injure yourself?
- 6:37Speaker 13: When I was four or five years old, I cut
- 6:39Speaker 13: my palm with the spikes off to the aluminum foil box.
- 6:42Speaker 7: It was pretty deep and suctameful. It's not having to
- 6:45Speaker 7: get the lint out tweezers when I was a kid.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Oh, pretty dumb, thanks my low.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Oh okay, let's go to Thomas.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Hello Thomas, Thomas, got a good good morning?
- 6:59Speaker 10: Lord?
- 7:00Speaker 14: Is this attorney Thomas don't have court this morning, so
- 7:03Speaker 14: headen the off school later.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:04Speaker 14: Dumbest way I hurt myself is when I was in
- 7:08Speaker 14: junior high age or ninth grade. I was rough housing
- 7:11Speaker 14: with my little brother and I kicked my little brother
- 7:13Speaker 14: in the butt and I broke a bone.
- 7:15Speaker 6: In my foot.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And that's what you get that, that's whatever.
- 7:22Speaker 14: Years later, I was on a I was on a
- 7:25Speaker 14: blind date with my buddy. We were going to water skin.
- 7:27Speaker 14: I got met up on a blind date my buddy's
- 7:29Speaker 14: girlfriend h and I jumped off my boat into the
- 7:32Speaker 14: lake for my turn to go waterskiing, and I caught
- 7:35Speaker 14: my foot under the rope cleet where you tie you
- 7:38Speaker 14: to the dock, and it ripped my foot open. So
- 7:40Speaker 14: I got to drive us down to the hospital and
- 7:42Speaker 14: go get bitches. That was good times.
- 7:45Speaker 8: Yes, doesn't sound see later, Tom?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Thank you all right?
- 7:52Speaker 1: Hey, River River, where are you calling us from?
- 7:55Speaker 10: The Happy Valley is Springville?
- 7:57Speaker 2: Okay? What what'd you do?
- 8:00Speaker 3: So?
- 8:01Speaker 10: I was helping my wife cook chili the other night
- 8:04Speaker 10: and she couldn't get a can of black beans open.
- 8:07Speaker 7: So I muscled up and I said.
- 8:09Speaker 10: I'll do it. And I got about halfway open and
- 8:12Speaker 10: I couldn't pour the juice out, so I tried to,
- 8:15Speaker 10: you know, bend the lid of the can. Up, bloom, bang,
- 8:18Speaker 10: eight stitches later, but I missed out on happen to
- 8:21Speaker 10: make gingerbread happen?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Though?
- 8:23Speaker 11: When when I guess.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I did the same thing when a can of Tomatillo's
- 8:27Speaker 1: and I cut three of my fingers had stitches and
- 8:30Speaker 1: three fingers.
- 8:31Speaker 8: To keep happened to the best of us.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Nick, Hello Nick, Nick, what's your story?
- 8:43Speaker 7: Good morning?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Well?
- 8:44Speaker 7: I was in the car wash and had put my
- 8:47Speaker 7: car in neutral so the little rollers could move my
- 8:49Speaker 7: car along, and about halfway through, the rollers moved out
- 8:52Speaker 7: from under the car and I was stranded in the
- 8:54Speaker 7: middle of the car wash. So I thought I got
- 8:56Speaker 7: to get my car out. I jumped out of my
- 8:58Speaker 7: car and started pushing it out as those bristly brollers
- 9:01Speaker 7: were rolling across my body and being sprayed down by
- 9:04Speaker 7: high pressure water. And finally got my car out, and
- 9:07Speaker 7: the fourteen year old little attendant said, why didn't you
- 9:11Speaker 7: just drive it out?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah? Why didn't you?
- 9:16Speaker 7: Because you're stown on me that that was an option
- 9:19Speaker 7: on Yeah, now you know, thank you, all right, thanks,
- 9:23Speaker 7: that's thank you, guys.
- 9:24Speaker 8: That's a good one, all right, Leo, Hello, Leo, Leo,
- 9:29Speaker 8: Leo this one.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Hey huh yeah you go ahead, Lee bye bye hi.
- 9:34Speaker 15: Uh.
- 9:34Speaker 14: In the sixth grade, I tried to cut open a
- 9:36Speaker 14: frozen bagel and I ended a pleasure my thumb with bread.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Nite.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Ah, I have a lot of slicing food. And yeah, okay,
- 9:46Speaker 2: thank you Leo. Thanks Leo. Ow all right.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Uh Celia, Cecilia, Cecilia, how are you today?
- 9:55Speaker 15: I'm good?
- 9:55Speaker 16: How are you?
- 9:56Speaker 2: I'm fine, just fine.
- 9:57Speaker 10: Uh?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Now where were you when this happened? Before you tell
- 10:01Speaker 2: us what it is?
- 10:03Speaker 15: I was in a barn in Cash Valley.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Okay, historical farm, uh huh? And what were you doing?
- 10:10Speaker 15: But we were playing tag and it was supposed to
- 10:13Speaker 15: be a designated activity and there was a pitchfork laying
- 10:18Speaker 15: on the loft and I looked behind me to see
- 10:21Speaker 15: who was chasing me, and the pitchfork went right in
- 10:23Speaker 15: between my toes and went in about three inches. Oh
- 10:29Speaker 15: but I don't remember. I do remember having a few
- 10:31Speaker 15: sag later that I didn't remember how I got But.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I was about twelve, twelve years old. Man, you still
- 10:39Speaker 2: have the scars.
- 10:41Speaker 15: Yes, like sometimes when it's you know, getting stormy like
- 10:44Speaker 15: I can feel it in between the bones in my
- 10:47Speaker 15: finker foot, but thankfully didn't do too much damage.
- 10:50Speaker 12: Considering.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh good, thank you, Cecilia. All right, do you want
- 10:53Speaker 2: to hear mine? Sure?
- 10:57Speaker 3: I blame Olivia Newton, John and Xanadu for this.
- 10:59Speaker 8: Well, I blame them for a lot of sayings.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I blame them for the Vietnam War.
- 11:03Speaker 3: My sister and I were roller skating in the unfinished
- 11:06Speaker 3: basement like you do in Xanadu. Yeah, and we ran
- 11:11Speaker 3: into each other. We fell down, and we sat up
- 11:15Speaker 3: and we both looked at each other.
- 11:17Speaker 2: We both knocked.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Out the same tooth, and my mom came downstairs and
- 11:23Speaker 3: saw us both sitting there missing the same front tooth.
- 11:27Speaker 4: We both have a.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Fake yow kind of a bonding thing. Oh yeah, who says?
- 11:35Speaker 8: Twenty five years ago I did a crane kick like
- 11:37Speaker 8: karate kid when we were drinking, fell backwards, landing on
- 11:40Speaker 8: my arm, and it resulted in a rotator cuff injury
- 11:42Speaker 8: that still plagues me.
- 11:43Speaker 2: To this day. Alright, let's go to Amy.
- 11:47Speaker 13: Hello Amy, I Amy, Hi, Hello, good morning, Hi.
- 11:51Speaker 2: What's your injury?
- 11:53Speaker 13: I was telling my husband that I was going to
- 11:56Speaker 13: tell the story about how I broke my nose as
- 11:58Speaker 13: a kid with a blanket over my head, saying game
- 12:00Speaker 13: walked into a wall and brook my nose. And he
- 12:02Speaker 13: said that story is not as interesting as mine, so
- 12:05Speaker 13: he gave me permission to share his because he's driving.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:08Speaker 13: When he was twelve, he decided to do like a
- 12:12Speaker 13: test of like fear and strength by sticking a piece
- 12:15Speaker 13: of duct tape to his finger about six inches and
- 12:18Speaker 13: lighting it on fire. And the idea was right before
- 12:21Speaker 13: it got his finger, he was going to flip it
- 12:23Speaker 13: off his finger, and he was in his basement that
- 12:26Speaker 13: has carpeted, by the way, but he thought it out.
- 12:28Speaker 13: He was going to stomp it out before it cause
- 12:30Speaker 13: any problems. When he went to flip it, it wrapped
- 12:33Speaker 13: all the way around his finger and it's and it's
- 12:35Speaker 13: here kept burning, oh, kind of like Adam Sandler movie.
- 12:40Speaker 13: And he he had to cut it off and it
- 12:42Speaker 13: was a third degree burn. And we should have laughed.
- 12:46Speaker 13: We should have laughed, but you know what laughed for christ.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Ah Man, your husband's stupid. Amen?
- 12:52Speaker 13: Oh?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Thanks? Thanks? Amy. Kate is here all right, Kate? What
- 12:59Speaker 2: happened to you?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Hi?
- 13:02Speaker 16: I'm a horse? Girl, and I decided I wanted to
- 13:07Speaker 16: get on my very tall horse fare back one night,
- 13:10Speaker 16: and I was being lazy about it, so I took
- 13:14Speaker 16: a milk crate and stacked a kitchen stool on top
- 13:18Speaker 16: of it and decided to climb up on it to
- 13:22Speaker 16: get on him.
- 13:23Speaker 10: And I fell off.
- 13:24Speaker 16: Before I even got on him. Normally you get hurt
- 13:27Speaker 16: riding a horse, but I got hurt trying to get
- 13:30Speaker 16: on him.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Did you get back up on the horse, so that's
- 13:34Speaker 2: what you have to do?
- 13:36Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah, of course, always after my cast and all that.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, thank you, Kate, Thank you Kate. Let's go.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's Tim the tree guy. Oh Tim, how are you feeling? Tim?
- 13:49Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm doing better than I have been, that's for sure.
- 13:55Speaker 11: I've got a lot of them. My wife was like,
- 13:58Speaker 11: you got to tell him something I did. I we'll
- 14:03Speaker 11: just mention a couple.
- 14:05Speaker 10: One.
- 14:05Speaker 11: When I was in like third grade, and we had
- 14:07Speaker 11: one of those wooden playgrounds at the school I was at,
- 14:10Speaker 11: and I slid down one of those wood poles fireman style,
- 14:16Speaker 11: got a whole chest and stomach full of slivers and
- 14:19Speaker 11: everything A.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Hundreds, I mean, reacting so badly. I felt that way
- 14:28Speaker 2: what's the other one?
- 14:30Speaker 11: The other one? When I was twenty five, I went
- 14:34Speaker 11: riding motocross by myself and went to a My wife
- 14:39Speaker 11: told me not to do it, and I'm like, well,
- 14:41Speaker 11: I'll go to a public track where there's lots of people.
- 14:44Speaker 11: At the Sunday, there'll be people there. Well, I broke
- 14:47Speaker 11: both my wrists and at the same time, and then
- 14:51Speaker 11: I had to drive home an hour away.
- 14:56Speaker 2: You know, yeah, great, really good?
- 15:00Speaker 12: Uk?
- 15:00Speaker 2: It off?
- 15:01Speaker 8: Yes, sit down, Tim, I hope you're just remain see
- 15:06Speaker 8: you later than. Let's go to Mike.
- 15:12Speaker 7: Mike, good morning. This is a couple of years ago.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I under say what do you do? What
- 15:18Speaker 2: did you do?
- 15:20Speaker 10: Oh?
- 15:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I was in the kitchen. We've got three young
- 15:24Speaker 7: kids at home, so we've got legos all over the
- 15:25Speaker 7: place and it's not where it's do.
- 15:29Speaker 2: You think it's going to go?
- 15:30Speaker 7: I was walking down, I had nothing in my hands,
- 15:33Speaker 7: and I was saw a lego near the fridge and
- 15:36Speaker 7: I said, oh, I'm gonna I'd rather than kick it
- 15:38Speaker 7: away lately or pick it up, I'm going to avoid it.
- 15:41Speaker 7: So I stepped to the side and there was a
- 15:43Speaker 7: piece of ice on the floor. This our vinyl flooring
- 15:47Speaker 7: that came from the fridge, and I slipped and pulled
- 15:50Speaker 7: my groin on that, so while trying to avoid the lego,
- 15:53Speaker 7: I still got hurt.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Nothing worse than a groin poole.
- 15:58Speaker 8: Yeah all right, Mike Sayanks, Well, these are all good,
- 16:02Speaker 8: and we've got so many that we're going to move
- 16:04Speaker 8: this to social media, So Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you can
- 16:09Speaker 8: continue the ex pole there at our social media's. But
- 16:13Speaker 8: I think Bill has the winning anticipation.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't know where it was attacked, and it said
- 16:21Speaker 1: never ever insert something into your body that doesn't have
- 16:26Speaker 1: a flared base. I'm too embarrassed to call. There you go, Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: at your winner. Yep, at your winner right there,
