• 0:17
Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to another episode of the Fresher Sounds podcast
• 0:22
  with me your host Ross.
• 0:24
On today's episode we are going to do something a little bit different.
• 0:28
Obviously is upwind music artists so majority of these artists have already played them.
• 0:38
So what I am going to do is I am going to at random select a few artists and go on their
• 0:45
channel and go on their oldest video and then obviously review it and see how far and how far
• 1:01
  they have come as well.
• 1:03
So our first artist we are going to play ladies and gentlemen, he is called Comprehend.
• 1:09
Now I have featured Comprehend a few times, I really like this artist, he has done really
• 1:14
fantastic and he is doing really, really well for himself as well.
• 1:20
It is amazing to see how he has progressed through his music career and through his own
• 1:28
  personal stuff as well.
• 1:31
Yeah lets dive into the music ladies and gentlemen, this is comprehend Lindsay Wells
• 1:36
  Tough Love official music video.
• 1:38
This was released eight years ago so here it is, let it on,
• 1:53
relationships aren't great because they have no problems.
• 1:55
They're great because both people care enough about the other person to find a way to make it
• 2:00
  work.
• 2:01
  Listen.
• 2:08
  Start, I feel so terrified.
• 2:09
The realest love can be so hard when you can't get it right.
• 2:12
Together we are good and that much we have testified.
• 2:15
And I can't help but feel my brain is like a roller coaster.
• 2:17
Because everyday we go through change and you still hold me closer.
• 2:20
You're saying you'll never be sane and they have diagnosed you.
• 2:23
I know you've been through pain and you're just trying to find some closure I see it when you
• 2:26
lie awake, the thoughts are killing you I wanna help take that away, I'm more than willing to
• 2:30
Each time I look you in your face, I see what you've been through But you still smile
• 2:34
everyday, the pain's too big to choose You showed me love in ways I never thought were
• 2:38
  possible.
• 2:39
That was your choice to make and I know it was optional.
• 2:41
So now my heart will stay with you until we've lost it all.
• 2:44
Because I would move the ways for you and then the obstacles.
• 3:08
Sometimes it's hard between us, but you know I'm always there.
• 3:11
We both can start with demons, we can be an awful pair.
• 3:13
But there is plenty of reasons why I will always care.
• 3:16
You give my life the kind of meaning that I thought was rare.
• 3:19
There's often times I think you'd be better off without me.
• 3:21
I need to find a shrink because I feel like my head is cloudy.
• 3:24
It's like my mind won't let me in, that's why I'm getting rowdy.
• 3:27
On you, I'd never lay your finger, I respect your boundaries.
• 3:30
Best friends will argue, and that's no different for us.
• 3:32
  You're angry, aren't you?
• 3:33
  I feel our distant auras.
• 3:35
  But I won't harm you.
• 3:36
When you're mad, I feel tortured.
• 3:37
  Frankly, that's the hard truth.
• 3:39
  That's why I'm getting awkward.
• 3:40
I can be sensitive, and I know that.
• 3:42
But it's a benefit to have you in my life, and I will go back.
• 3:45
Then you feel negative when I'm a twat, but that is relative to how I feel when I react.
• 3:50
  I know that's bad.
• 4:12
I often say a lot of things that piss you off, but in my conscience I betray it in a way that
• 4:16
  I think soft.
• 4:17
I've got the patience, so I'll stay till we're on top.
• 4:20
I just pray you feel the same and that one day my brain will stop.
• 4:23
It's such a blessing that I found you when you're here.
• 4:25
Because without your presence my surroundings are not clear.
• 4:28
That's why I crave attention from you when I'm acting weird.
• 4:30
Because I feel depression every time you were not near.
• 4:33
I know you've got a lot doubts in your head.
• 4:36
I'm just hoping that you're in my house when you're stressed.
• 4:39
Because I could never live with mountains of death.
• 4:41
But if I had you, then I'd be proud till my death.
• 4:44
I'm needing you more than the humans needing oxygen.
• 4:47
The thought of keeping you is boosting my whole confidence.
• 4:49
If someone's teasing you, the truth is I will box with them because me not pleasing you is
• 4:53
  now my only consequence.
• 5:44
And there you have it, that was comprehend tough love.
• 5:51
Really enjoyed that to be honest with you.
• 5:54
Felt the raw emotion in that song, the passion as well and to say it is a track that got
• 6:04
released eight years ago, I think a lot of people can relate to it in the current
• 6:09
  situation now what mean?
• 6:12
And it's just like, just watching the video, I got a tear in my eye, mate.
• 6:19
I'm not gonna lie to you.
• 6:20
  I really did.
• 6:21
And you you could just feel it.
• 6:23
Like as I said then, like, the the raw passion, the emotion and everything.
• 6:29
Watching that video now and looking at comprehenders in his music videos as well, now,
• 6:35
you can see the massive, massive difference has come a long way as well.
• 6:39
His lyrics and, you know, his rhyming, all that sort of stuff has come on leaps and bounds.
• 6:50
  You know?
• 6:51
He he's so talented in the music industry and it blows my mind, it really does, because when
• 7:02
I met him he was doing more like rap and obviously that's more like R and B and yeah, I
• 7:12
really enjoy listening to people's old stuff as well because obviously you can sit back and
• 7:20
look at it and be like, you know, look what they were producing to look what they are
• 7:26
producing now, do you know what I mean?
• 7:28
And it's good to have that sort of like, know, that back backlog of stuff there as well
• 7:36
because you personally can look at yourself and be like oh well, look how far I have come and
• 7:42
look what I have overcome as well, what you think is absolutely fantastic, power to the
• 7:48
  YouTube and everything.
• 7:50
So we are on our next artist, so this is just an instrumental beat only.
• 7:56
This is off Solo Wolf on his YouTube channel, he is called The Wolf Made me do it.
• 8:04
So we are going to play this one.
• 8:06
This was released five months ago.
• 8:09
It is a newish YouTube channel, but it doesn't post as frequent on his YouTube channel.
• 8:16
So just going off the oldest video here and here it is, ladies and gentlemen.
• 8:21
  Hope you enjoy.
• 8:46
The wolf made me do it.
• 11:17
  wolf made me do it.
• 11:37
There you have it ladies and gentlemen, that was Solo Wolf or The Wolf Made Me Do It on his
• 11:42
YouTube channel that's what it is called.
• 11:45
The beat, personally for me, it wasn't a beat that I would necessarily listen to myself
• 11:53
personally but everyone is different and I know the hard work that you put in to making your
• 12:02
  beats and everything.
• 12:04
So yeah, I enjoyed it all in all but I don't think it's something that I'd go and put on a
• 12:19
Spotify playlist or something like that.
• 12:23
But, yeah, I liked the little reload thing, I liked that when you get done doing that and
• 12:31
there was other little bits of the beat as well that I really enjoyed but I can't explain what
• 12:39
  they called or anything, know.
• 12:41
I'm not that technical minded when it comes to beat making and everything.
• 12:45
So but, yeah, I I enjoyed the beat, but I wouldn't go out my way necessarily to put it on
• 12:53
my Spotify playlist or anything like that.
• 12:57
But, again, it's not to say that I didn't like it because I did.
• 13:02
But, yeah, that's that's my personal opinion on it.
• 13:06
Someone and he is called Beni let me get that right.
• 13:29
Artist number three we are on and it is Benito Butler and this song was released thirteen
• 13:36
years ago and it is called How I Want It To Be.
• 13:43
So yeah, I am not sure what the song is going to sound like, I don't know what it's gonna be
• 13:50
  about or anything.
• 13:52
I'm assuming it's about why he wants to be like when he's when he's grown up or something.
• 13:59
  I couldn't tell you.
• 14:01
  Here it is.
• 14:30
Cause they're proving a point where they're make it big in life.
• 14:33
I just want it to be me when sometimes I get stage fright.
• 14:37
I'm not jealous, I'm just proving a big point.
• 14:39
15 years of age and I'm making the right choice.
• 14:42
I just want to get all of your attention.
• 14:44
I should have listened to skills that are getting in attention.
• 14:47
I should have settled down because now what am I worth?
• 14:50
I just wanna say thanks to my more forgiving birth.
• 14:52
I should have pulled my heart together.
• 14:54
  Yeah.
• 14:54
When I was younger, I've left it to the stage where my heart's getting colder.
• 15:25
Because all that I need is myself, and I find my my rhymes and my lines, everything is
• 15:29
  alright.
• 15:31
Let me have a breath while you can.
• 15:33
I've gotta get big, but I've gotta make plans.
• 15:36
Get more fun, start stacking up the grands.
• 15:38
Maybe one day, I'll have the world in my hands.
• 15:42
Let me have a breath while you can.
• 15:43
I've gotta get big, but I've gotta make plans.
• 15:47
Get more fun, start stacking up the grands.
• 15:49
Maybe one day I'll have the world in my hands.
• 15:52
In my life, I'm always feeling down.
• 15:55
It's like amazed, there's always a way around.
• 15:57
I get money now, my reputation is so fine.
• 16:00
I write day and night, my buzzer's so fly, I get signed.
• 16:03
Write constantly in my mind, not even the time to kick back and have a laugh.
• 16:21
Following my dreams, following the right path.
• 16:25
I need to settle down and make pay.
• 16:27
It's why I try to write every minute of the day.
• 16:30
Always in the studio, relying on the truth.
• 16:32
  I'm just a young
• 17:40
  and that was Benito Butler.
• 17:42
Again I am really amazed with some of these old tracks you know what I mean and it is just I
• 17:49
wish I would have met these in the younger days as well because it is mad to look back and to
• 17:59
see how far they have progressed and everything and how different they look as well.
• 18:03
Mean, obviously thirteen years is a long time, do you know what I mean?
• 18:08
When I saw the tracksuits and everything, I was like, oh my god, I remember wearing them.
• 18:13
Do you know what I mean?
• 18:14
Like, there was a in thing to wear and everything as a teenager, especially around my
• 18:20
  area as well.
• 18:22
So, yeah, again, I really enjoyed it.
• 18:25
He's very lyrically talented as well, you know, and I think he's gonna do really, really well
• 18:35
in the music career as well.
• 18:38
So well done Benito Butler, I really enjoyed that song and I know you are working on new
• 18:46
music as well, so keep up the grind, keep up the hard work, keep consistent and it will pay
• 18:53
  off.
• 18:53
So up next we are on artist number four and this one, he has been on the podcast plenty of
• 19:05
  times.
• 19:07
I have also interviewed this artist, I even travelled all the way down to Blackpool just to
• 19:13
meet him and interview him as well.
• 19:17
So this is Joe Dark, you guessed it right, the one and only Joe Dark and it's called On it
• 19:25
  from day.
• 19:26
This was released four months ago so lets play it and find out.
• 19:31
  And gentlemen.
• 19:32
  Enjoy.
• 19:39
  Yo.
• 19:42
  Joel Dart.
• 19:45
  Got it from day.
• 19:49
  Yeah.
• 19:54
  Yo.
• 19:56
  They don't know.
• 19:57
  Been on
• 19:57
it from day, so why think I care what they've got to say coming up quite quick, keep on a
• 22:01
  ball computer.
• 22:02
  Am I your man?
• 22:02
  Rub my mouse.
• 22:03
  Squeaky clean.
• 22:04
I'm trying no doubt, but can you ass up without holding an ounce and see kangaroo?
• 22:08
Clean out your pouch or tell about me about side your household there.
• 22:10
  Hit for your kangaroo pounds.
• 22:12
That's the bird when I fly alligators wearing crocs out.
• 22:14
Fight as the gazers on it from day.
• 22:43
And that was Joe Duck, everyone.
• 22:45
I really, really enjoyed that one.
• 22:48
The lyrics on that and how fast he sprayed them lyrics as well at one point.
• 22:55
  I was like, wow.
• 22:59
Hearing stuff like that as well, like how fast someone can rap, it just blows my mind, it
• 23:05
  really does.
• 23:05
I mean, if you have been practicing for a very long time as well or even if you naturally
• 23:10
gifted to do that sort of stuff, it's one of them really.
• 23:15
And the fact that it balls up a little bit and it brought it back without hesitation or
• 23:21
  anything, I think it's tremendous.
• 23:25
10 out of 10 for me.
• 23:27
What did you think of it watching?
• 23:29
Let me know in the comments below.
• 23:31
Also, well, if you did like any of these music artists, don't forget to go into the
• 23:35
description of the video on the YouTube channel because all their links will be there as well.
• 23:44
So yeah, it's just a quick episode this one basically for these four artists and it's nice
• 23:54
to hear all the music that they brought out as well, I personally think as well.
• 24:01
And, you know, obviously working hard and bringing out the new music, I think it is good
• 24:08
to reminisce on the old stuff as well, me personally.
• 24:13
So yeah, that is it ladies and gentlemen for today's episode.
• 24:17
