Mega Edition: Jeffrey Epstein, Leon Black And The Shockwave Felt At Apollo Global (6/29/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:04
On tonight's episode, we're going to change pace a little
0:06
bit here and we're going to check in on the
0:09
Leon Black situation and the move that they're trying to make,
0:14
meaning Apollo Global into Las Vegas. But before we do that,
0:19
there is a bit of breaking news and it has
0:22
to do with Apollo Global and the battle royale that
0:26
is going on between Josh Harris and Leon Black. Now
0:32
we know that Leon Black and his legal team were
0:36
claiming that Miss Kanieva and her legal team we're engaging
0:41
in a rico criminal conspiracy basically to extort Leon Black. Well,
0:49
now Leon Black's lawyers they've dropped those charges and they're
0:56
not pursuing the racketeering allegations against Wigdor anymore. And the
1:01
attorneys that were representing him a manual at Quinn Emmanuel,
1:06
they're leaving the case as well. Now Wigdor isn't letting
1:10
their foot off the gas, though Wigdor is still looking
1:13
to try and get them sanctioned. So there is a
1:17
lot going on here and it just leads us right
1:20
into the article we're going to dig into about Apollo
1:24
Global and them trying to, you know, make their way
1:28
back into Las Vegas. We know that they had a
1:31
bit going on with Caesars for a while, didn't work
1:33
out so well, and now they're trying to get the sands.
1:38
So let's take a look at what author Dana Gentry
1:43
has to say over at the Nevada current as Apollo
1:47
makes license bid for sans founder alleges conspiracy against co founder.
1:55
When Apollo Global Management appears before the Nevada Gaming Control
1:58
Board Wednesday, it's bid the purchase the operations of the
2:02
Venetian and Palazzo on the Las Vegas Strip. It will
2:05
do so without Leon Black and Joshua Harris, the top
2:09
executives who stood before regulators when the company won a
2:12
license for a leveraged buyout of Caesar's Entertainment in two
2:16
thousand and eight, and it failed miserably for them. Caesar's
2:20
has never been the same since Apollo Global swooped in.
2:24
And the galling part of all of this is they
2:27
bought it in two thousand and eight during the whole
2:30
entire debacle. So once again the vultures were at the corpse.
2:35
And that's exactly what Apollo Global is was and always
2:39
will be. Look, I get it. That's how you have
2:41
to conduct yourself in the financial market. That's how you
2:45
have to conduct yourself if you're going to be the
2:47
big dog on the block of investment firms. Doesn't mean
2:51
I have to like it, and in fact I think
2:54
it's gross. It's just not I don't know. Look, hey,
2:58
I'm not going to tell anybody else how to make right.
3:00
But there has to be regulations, there has to be stipulations,
3:05
and there has to be penalties when you're out of line.
3:09
And we know that Apollo Global most certainly has been
3:12
out of line here. Obviously they let Leon Black be
3:16
the quote unquote fall guy, meaning take most of the heat.
3:20
But you mean to tell me that people at Apollo
3:23
Global had no idea. All of these smartest men in
3:26
the room, all of these too big to fail mfors,
3:30
had no idea. Huh, Well, maybe they aren't as smart
3:34
as they wanted us to believe. Then it's one or
3:37
the other. Black, Apollo Global Management's founder and still its
3:44
largest shareholder, stepped down last year after thirty years as
3:48
chairman when news broke that he paid convicted sex offender
3:51
pedophile Jeffrey Epstein one hundred and sixty five million dollars
3:55
for financial advice. Now, look, we know that that's a
3:59
lot of advice. U huh. How much advice does one
4:01
hundred and fifty eight million buy you a whole bunch?
4:05
Now it says here one hundred and sixty five million.
4:07
Perhaps the author of this article has some information. I don't.
4:11
I thought it was a buck fifty eight. But we're
4:13
talking about peanuts at that point, right, be it one
4:16
hundred and sixty five, one hundred and fifty eight million.
4:19
What are you giving him that kind of money for?
4:22
I mean financial advice? Really, your head honcho down here
4:25
at Apollo Global, with all of the big shots working
4:28
for you, taking their orders from you, doing whatever it
4:32
is you tell them to do, and you're out here
4:35
getting money from Jeffrey Epstein, I mean, giving Jeffrey Epstein
4:38
money for his advice, for his direction in life? What
4:43
is this the Boys and Girls Club? And you needed
4:45
a sponsor? I mean, I don't even understand what's going
4:48
on here. Not if you're if you're following the quote
4:53
unquote official narrative here and you don't think it's funky,
4:58
then I don't know what to tell you. But one
5:00
hundred and sixty five million dollars for advice. I've never
5:04
heard of anything like that. Black is also under investigation
5:08
by the Manhattan District Attorney for an alleged sexual assault
5:11
at Manhattan at Epstein's Manhattan home, according to a news
5:14
report citing sources. So again we're talking about the Las
5:19
Vegas Gaming Commission, the Las Vegas Gaming Board. Now, I
5:23
worked for a sportsbook for six years and we're fall
5:29
right under the umbrella of being regulated by the Gaming Commission.
5:35
And they are so ridiculous with some of the regulations
5:39
that I can't even begin to tell you how annoying
5:42
it is. One time I was on vacation and I
5:47
had one of my employees. Some guy hit a horse race, right,
5:51
and if it's over a certain threshold, you have to
5:54
collect a w nine, get their license, get them to
5:57
sign stuff. It's a whole thing for tax purposes. Anyway,
6:01
the employee didn't get all of the documentation signed, so
6:07
at night, all of those documents would go into an
6:09
envelope and then it would be sent to the auditing department,
6:13
and if the auditing department found something amiss, you would
6:17
get back a notice saying that hey, look, this is wrong,
6:21
you miss this whatever, Well, it was such a big
6:24
deal that this employee missed this signature. Meanwhile, while I'm
6:28
on vacation, mind you, and I'm getting yelled at from
6:31
three thousand miles away. It was such a big deal
6:34
that they wanted to fire this person, and I was
6:39
very adamant that that was not okay with me, especially
6:43
considering that our company had been slapped with a thirty
6:46
million dollar fine for its own missteps. Right, so how
6:52
about a little equity here. You're going to get rid
6:54
of this person who has a family job, I mean,
6:56
needs this job to feed the people that rely on him,
6:59
and you're going to fire them for obviously a mistake.
7:04
And we were able to chase the paperwork down and
7:07
the player actually was somebody who came to the place
7:09
a lot, so he was gracious enough to sign the paperwork.
7:12
But they were willing to just fire this dude because
7:14
the gaming Control board, and they could have fought that. Right. Meanwhile,
7:19
the gaming control boards over here, la la la la la,
7:22
hanging out who knows what, down at the Las Vegas
7:26
National Golf Course, probably getting ready to give Leon Black
7:30
and Company a gaming license again in Las Vegas. In
7:36
a lawsuit filed last week, Black alleges Harris, who he
7:40
once named co founder, is out to destroy him over
7:43
Black's choice of his successor, Mark Rowan. Now, look, there
7:47
is some truth to that. Probably. We know how people
7:49
are human nature in general, right, and you can amplify
7:53
that to the maximum with people like Josh Josh Harris.
7:59
This is not a guy who is used to being
8:02
told no or losing in any capacity. And he gets
8:05
passed up for this big ass role, you know, he's
8:07
gonna have some animosity built up, at least you would
8:10
think so. But to this level where they're alleging that
8:13
he's in bed with Leon Black's accuser and funding it
8:18
and it's a whole rico case. I mean, come on,
8:21
that is just absolutely ridiculous and I'll need to see
8:26
a lot of evidence to believe something like that. Seeing
8:31
his long held dream of becoming CEO or co CEO
8:34
crushed with mister Rowan's ascension, mister Harris kicked into high
8:38
gears campaign to destroy mister Black. The suit says, like
8:43
a Shakespeare's story, enraged and being passed over for promotion,
8:46
he turned his wrath on his mentor and leader. So
8:50
it's like, you know, they're setting it up like it's
8:52
some Game of Throne style type stuff, right, some medieval
8:56
you know, one brother's passed up for the other brother,
8:58
so the other brother engages in this inter family struggle
9:02
to gain control of the family unit. They're saying, it's
9:06
the same thing going on here. Obviously it's a bit
9:10
of hyperbole, right, And in my opinion, we already know
9:15
that Leon Black had this relationship with mis Ganieva. We
9:19
know that they had a physical romantic relationship while Leon
9:24
Black was married, right, so we already know that they've
9:29
had that sort of relationship. What would make me believe that,
9:33
you Josh Harris is going to those lengths to put
9:36
himself in basically criminal jeopardy to try and set that
9:39
up all over him being passed up for this position. Now,
9:44
let's not forget Harris has a gajillion dollars of his own, right,
9:49
He's not missing any meals over this. Him and his
9:52
family are still buying seventeen thousand private islands. You know,
9:57
it's more of a pride thing, and we know with
9:59
these people that's big deal. But enough to insert yourself
10:03
in a manner such as this, that's what he would
10:06
want us to believe. And it's kind of a shrewd
10:09
strategy in my opinion, kind of look at the right
10:12
hand while the left hand is over here making moves.
10:15
But I don't think it's going to work, not in
10:17
this current climate. Harris, according to the suit, convened the
10:23
war Council, composed of law firms, public relations agencies, and
10:28
political consulting firms to work against AGM's interests. He also
10:33
left the company last year. Look, he's had enough. Right,
10:38
everything happened, there was way too much animosity, way too
10:42
many burned bridges for Harris to stay involved. So peace,
10:46
see you later. Black claims Harris is also behind a
10:54
conspiracy to retaliate and destroy him by, among other things,
10:58
weaponizing a woman with whom Black had an affair to
11:02
assassinate his character and extort even more from him. Look, bro,
11:07
you would have us believe that you gave Jeffrey Epstein
11:10
for one hundred and sixty five million dollars. But you're
11:14
pinching pennies over here. If this was just a consensual
11:18
relationship with miss Ganieva and you never abused her, you
11:22
never took it her Epstein's none of this stuff ever happened.
11:26
I'm sure you could have had an amicable type of
11:29
situation here where you paid her a certain amount of
11:31
do and been done with it. Now, look, I'm not
11:33
saying that's the right thing to do. I think it's atrocious.
11:36
My point is, if you have one hundred and sixty
11:38
five million dollars to pay Jeffrey Epstein off, what are
11:41
you worried about a couple one hundred extra grand going
11:44
down this way? See, none of it makes sense when
11:47
you look at Leon Black's defense and his story here
11:49
because kind of like with Virginia Roberts and Prince Andrew,
11:53
how the picture establishes that whole relationship that she alleges.
11:58
In this instance, the fact that Leon Black has already
12:02
admitted to the consensual relationship with Miss Kanieva already puts
12:06
him in the room, if you will. So with everything
12:11
we know, I'm giving a lot of credence to what
12:14
she has to say. Now again, I wasn't there. I
12:16
don't know for sure what happened. But until it's, you know,
12:20
all worked out one way or the other, we're gonna
12:23
talk about it because it's a big part of the
12:26
overall Epstein case. People don't realize how big of a
12:30
role that Leon Black played. You have a lot of
12:33
people that go the Wexner route, and there's no doubt
12:36
Les Wexner played a gigantic role in turning Jeffrey Epstein
12:39
into what he became as far as financially and opening
12:43
some doors. But Leon Black was on another level then
12:46
even less Wexner folks. Less Wexner's powerful, he's rich, and
12:50
he's all of that, but he's not Leon Black. Leon
12:54
Black is an absolute great white shark when it comes
12:57
to this sort of business, business in general. And this
13:02
was the man who was look at a serious patron
13:05
of Jeffrey Epstein's one hundred and sixty five million dollars.
13:09
How much did that that money go? How far did
13:12
it go to help further Jeffrey Epstein's criminal behavior, to
13:16
help him and Maxwell continue to do what they did.
13:24
Black admits to making secret payments of one hundred thousand
13:27
dollars a month beginning in twenty fifteen to Gazelle Ganieva
13:32
to keep their relationship confidential. Ganieva alleges in her own
13:36
suit that Black sexually assaulted her when she refused his overtures,
13:40
and look again, I was not there. There's a ton
13:43
of gray area here. So we'll have to see how
13:47
this all plays out one way or the other. All
13:49
I could say is this, if you're going to hang
13:51
out with Jeffrey Epstein and not just you know, oh,
13:54
I saw him at a cocktail party and we had
13:56
some of her roasteduenis together, hang out but great bread
14:00
with old boy and break him off to the tune
14:03
of one hundred and fifty eight hundred and sixty five
14:05
million dollars. You better believe my antenna is gonna go
14:09
up when someone makes an allegation against you. You are
14:12
the company you keep after all right. Leon Black has
14:18
taken victim shaming of sexual assault victims to a stratospheric level.
14:23
Kanieva's attorney, Gene Christiansen of Whigdor LLP, said in a
14:27
statement to the Current Black intends in the suit that
14:30
Ghanieva demanded one hundred million dollars and threatened to reveal
14:34
the relationship to his wife and Apollo's board, as well
14:38
as the press if he did not pay her. And
14:40
still one hundred million, that's a lot of dough, right,
14:43
sixty five million less than you gave to Epstein for advice.
14:49
Could have gave her this money and been done with it.
14:51
Leon Black could have still been going on along your way.
14:54
But nope, not the case. Your pride wouldn't let you
14:57
do it, would it. Even if it's going ruin you,
15:00
and I have a funny feeling it's going to Folks,
15:03
we have not heard the last about Leon Black and
15:05
his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And no matter which way
15:09
this situation turns, this dude's going to have to answer
15:13
for that eventually. Nevadic gaming regulators, who approved Caesar's Entertainment
15:20
bankruptcy restructuring in twenty seventeen, we're either not interested or
15:25
unaware of the secret monthly payments from Black to Ganieva.
15:30
And here we come back to the circling around part right,
15:33
circling back to it. And that's the Gaming Commission. I mean,
15:36
come on, man, it's like all of the stereotypes of
15:43
what the Gaming Commission is, that's exactly what they are.
15:47
Remember when Michael Corleoni came Michael Corleone came to Las
15:51
Vegas in the Godfather, and you know, he goes to
15:54
see his brother and Moe Green's there and it's the
15:56
whole thing. Then he gets that cowboy senator dude who
16:00
shows up and gives them all kinds of grief about
16:02
his gaming license. Yeah, kind of the same thing going
16:05
on here still. Just you know, they're all wearing ten
16:07
thousand dollars suits now instead. Longtime gaming attorney Frank Shrek,
16:14
who represents AGM, says he was not involved in the
16:17
company's restructuring. Shrek, a former member of the Nevada Gaming Commission.
16:22
Oh shocker huh is the attorney who arranged for a
16:25
corporate shell to secretly make seven and a half million
16:28
dollars in payments to a win Las Vegas manicurist who
16:32
claimed she was raped and impregnated by Steve Win in
16:35
two thousand and five, according to the Massachusetts Gaming Commissions
16:39
twenty and nineteen report on Win and his previous empire.
16:43
I'm not even going to touch on that. I don't
16:45
know enough about it. I know that Steve Win got
16:48
chased from all of his properties here in Las Vegas
16:51
over these allegations, So there must have been a little
16:53
something something there, right, And you know how I feel
16:56
about people who are that rich. I feel like all
16:58
of these people are wired incorrectly, and you get to
17:01
a certain level and it's like your brain stops working
17:06
and your you know, whatever inner clock of morality that
17:11
you're possessing, it just it breaks and you don't have
17:14
one anymore. Massachusetts regulators, conducting an investigation into Wins Resorts
17:23
gaming application in that state, asked Shrek if the purpose
17:27
of the LLC was to hide Winds identity, not just
17:30
Steve Winn, said Shrek, who told investigators he represented both
17:34
Win and the hotel, just so this whole settlement would
17:37
be maintained on the confidential agreements. So basically, I'm going
17:41
to set up a shell company and use it to
17:45
pay people out. I don't even understand how. See this
17:48
is the thing, if you or I did any of
17:50
this stuff, folks, we'd be in prison for a bazillion years.
17:53
Underneath the prison. Look at the way they treat people
17:57
for simple minor possession. And I'm not talking about violent criminals.
18:00
Violent criminals deserve to be locked up, not even a question,
18:04
no short bail, none of that. But nonviolent offenders get
18:07
treated and getting treated worse than these gigantic crooks. These
18:13
people have been stealing from us forever. No evidence surface
18:20
during this investigation showing that in two thousand and five,
18:24
anyone with knowledge of the Manicurius allegations of the settlement
18:27
disclosed the matter to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. MASS
18:32
investigators wrote their efforts at secrecy made it exceedingly difficult,
18:36
if not impossible, for gaming regulators to detect this potential
18:41
derogatory information through typical regulatory means, which rely heavily on
18:47
robust self disclosures. So basically, they want them to self
18:51
govern themselves, rich people to self govern themselves. That's what
18:54
the gaming control boards saying over here, little wink wink,
18:58
nud jad, troll yourselves. It's absurd. They're supposed to regulate
19:04
all of this, and they're too busy worrying about nonsense
19:07
like I was talking about earlier, then very very very
19:10
important things such as this, Shrek told MASS investigators. The
19:16
Manicurist attorney initially alleged his client was raped by Win.
19:20
At that point I said, if that's your position, then
19:23
this is not a civil case. It's a criminal case,
19:25
and the conversation ends, Shrek told investigators. And he backed
19:29
off of that immediately and we then went ahead and
19:33
discussed whatever the next moves would be in terms of
19:36
trying to resolve the case. So it's a bunch of
19:38
he said, She said, like usual, right, Shrek says one thing,
19:42
that another person says another thing, and you know you
19:45
have yourself enough there for these people to claim plausible
19:49
deniability and still somehow find their way to getting their
19:54
gaming license or whatever it might be. The Nevada Gaming
19:59
Control Board find Win Resorts twenty million dollars in twenty
20:02
nineteen for failing to conduct an investigation into the two
20:06
thousand and five allegation. Shrek's law firm drew up the
20:10
stipulated agreement between the hotel and the state, so it
20:14
took them fourteen years to get things crack alacing twenty
20:19
million dollars after fourteen years. Do you know how much
20:21
money the Win Resorts brings in. It's an absurd amount.
20:25
Their pool parties alone are bringing in an absurd amount.
20:28
I know what the property I worked at for a
20:30
bazillion years. Four weeks of pool parties paid for their
20:34
whole year of operations. Absolutely insane. The amount of money
20:39
these casinos bring in, So twenty million dollars is an
20:42
absolute joke. The ten count complaint against Win Las Vegas,
20:47
filed by Nevada gaming officials makes no mention of Shrek's
20:50
role in concealing the seven and a half million dollars
20:53
in payments. Why should it. Shrek, who was expected to
20:57
represent Apollo Global Management before the Gaming Control Board this week,
21:01
would not respond to whether black status as majority stockholder
21:05
of AGM is expected to be an issue in the licensing?
21:09
Why should it be so? Even though he stepped down,
21:11
mind you, Leon Black, Remember he's still the biggest stockholder
21:14
in Apollo Global, so he's gonna benefit from this greatly.
21:19
And I'm not okay with that either. I just look,
21:22
here's the thing. I don't want Apollo Global in Las Vegas.
21:25
All of these corporations have ruined my city. Las Vegas
21:29
was a great place when these casinos were all owned
21:32
by separate entities or separate people. I know. The hard
21:35
Rock Hotel was just absolutely amazing, an amazing place to work,
21:40
an amazing place to hang out, just overall great experience
21:44
until Peter Morton sold it in two thousand and eight.
21:47
Once Peter Morton sold the property, forget it and those
21:53
That's the Dominoes fell in Las Vegas and the corporations
21:56
came in, and this is the kind of shit you get.
21:59
You get people Leon Black calling the shots for my money.
22:04
It's almost I say, a tongue in cheek, but we'd
22:07
be better off with the mafia here, right, At least
22:10
my blueberry muffins would have the right amount the blueberries
22:14
in them. Apollo is offering two point twenty five billion
22:20
for the Las Vegas Sands operations, while VIICI Properties, a
22:24
real estate investment trust, will pay four billion for the
22:27
real estate. A spokesman for the Gaming Control Board had
22:31
no comment when asked whether chairman Bryn Gibson will abstain
22:34
from the AGM matter. Gibson, an attorney, worked for Shrek's
22:38
law firm in twenty twenty. I highly doubt that he'll abstain.
22:43
I just don't see it. Why would they Why would
22:45
they abstain? Oh, there's no conflict of interest here. We
22:49
can separate our bias. Give them the permit, Give them
22:54
the permit. You know how it goes. Anyway. That's where
22:58
we're at here with Apollo Global, and things are moving
23:02
fast with this whole story, and I want to make
23:05
sure we stay on top of it, and we make
23:07
some time for it when there's a little bit of
23:08
downtime like we have tonight with the Prince Andrew situation.
23:13
In the Glenn Maxwell trial, we're pretty much all caught
23:16
up there. So instead of rehashing the stuff that we've
23:18
went over the last couple of days, there's really no
23:21
context to add yet. I figured we would deviate the
23:24
course a bit here and talk about this because this
23:27
is a big deal. And again, let's not forget that
23:31
if this goes through and they're able to purchase this
23:34
at this cut rate, by the way, this is a
23:35
good deal. The Sands is a very profitable company, and
23:39
we know that the restrictions and COVID it's not going
23:41
to be here forever, folks. So they're looking long term.
23:44
That's what they're looking at here, the long term evaluation
23:47
of this purchase. And for my money, I just don't
23:52
want to follow Global in Las Vegas, point blank period.
23:55
I don't like Leon Black, and he's going to be
23:57
the one who benefits from this over we're all in
24:00
the long run. So I hope the Gaming Commission does
24:03
the right thing. Do I expect them to absolutely not
24:07
all right, folks, that's gonna do it. For tonight's episode,
24:10
a couple more context episodes come in your way, and
24:14
then tomorrow morning, right back at it. We'll pick up
24:16
with Prince Andrew and Glenn Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein. We'll see
24:20
where we're at and we will go from there. I
24:23
hope that everybody has a great night. If you'd like
24:26
to contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapuci
24:28

24:43
The link that we discussed can be found in the
24:46
description box. So for our article this morning, folks, we're
24:50
gonna jump right back in and talk a little bit
24:52
more Apollo Global and Leon Black. And in this installment,
24:56
we're gonna talk about how the United Nations, as you
25:00
all know, certainly not my favorite group of people, a
25:03
group of people I think are basically an organized criminal
25:08
group at the UN right well, they even think that
25:13
Jeffrey Epstein's ties to Leon Black are too much to swallow,
25:20
and they also believe that the report from the law
25:23
firm did not go far enough, did not do enough
25:29
to bring their fears and their second thoughts under control.
25:36
So we're going to jump into this article from the
25:38
Financial Times, and we're going to see what the Financial
25:43
Times and authors Francesca Friday, Mark Vanderveld and Kay Wiggins
25:51
have to say about the UN an Apollo Global headline
26:01
Apollo's Epstein report fails to reassure United Nations fund and
26:07
I find that comical at best, right considering the United
26:10
Nations is just populated with a bunch of thieves and
26:13
scum as it is, so imagine being such a scumbag
26:17
that even the UN thinks you're a scumbag. I mean,
26:21
that's like Jeffrey Dahmer getting up on his soapbox and
26:25
calling Ted Bundy a scumbag, like I said. This article
26:30
was authored by Francesca Friday, Mark Van Derveld and Kay
26:35
Wiggins a report for excuse me before we get started.
26:40
By the way, this article was originally published on February second,
26:45
So I've had this one in the stack for a
26:46
little while, and since there's no new news to really
26:50
get to today, I figured we'd add a little more
26:53
context to this conversation. So here we go. A report
26:57
by lawyers for Apollo Global Management into the ties between
27:01
Leon Black and the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is not
27:05
enough to remove the company from a watch list of
27:07
investments that require extra scrutiny. A top un pension fund
27:12
official has said, Oh, well, that doesn't sound damning, That
27:17
isn't horrendous or anything. How could you possibly have your
27:20
money parked with Apollo Global and just shrug your shoulders
27:25
at this? And you know, I get it right. Money
27:29
rules the world, and people, at the end of the day,
27:32
they want to increase their wealth. And really a lot
27:35
of these people truly don't care how this money is made.
27:39
Blood diamonds, big deal war, don't care on the backs
27:43
of sexual exploitation, back, big deal cash my check. And
27:49
again I don't want to sound like, you know, being
27:53
extra critical of anyone with money, because that's not the case, right.
27:58
I'm talking about the one percent of the one percent,
28:02
the hedgies and their friends and the other scuzz bags
28:06
that are invested with Apollo. Those people really don't give
28:11
a damn about society as a whole. And if you
28:14
think they care about you, or your children, or your
28:17
dreams or your hopes, you are sadly mistaken. Go to
28:21
your local bank if you have a bad credit score,
28:24
and try and get a loan and see how that
28:26
works out for you. The banking system is installed to
28:35
keep control over us. I mean the fact that the
28:41
only time you ever hear about Jesus Christ getting mad
28:44
is when he flipped over the table of the tax
28:47
the tax people in the church for usury. That should
28:51
tell you all you need to know about these bankers.
28:54
They're doing the same thing that loan sharks for the
28:56
mafia do on the streets, but instead if you don't
28:59
pay the bankers, instead of just breaking your hand, they
29:03
destroy your whole entire life. The law firm Deckert said
29:10
last week that mister Black, Apollo's co founder, had transferred
29:13
one hundred and fifty eight million dollars to Epstein for
29:16
advice and other professional services, far more than was previously known.
29:23
And we've touched on this a bunch. There is no
29:26
way that that money was moved for advice. Anyone who
29:30
tries to tell you that with a straight face is
29:33
bsing you. Okay, there's no advice on this planet that
29:37
should cost one hundred and fifty eight million dollars no
29:41
advice on this planet. The firm found that Apollo did
29:49
not do business with Epstein and that there was no
29:52
evidence that Black was involved in any way with Epstein's
29:56
criminal activities at any time. You know, it's pathetic, really
30:00
is pathetic. And you know, I hate to rehash on
30:02
this again, and we've talked about this a lot lately,
30:06
but I feel it's important, right Obviously, I feel it's important.
30:09
If we're hammering it the way we are, if we
30:12
keep revisiting this topic, there's a reason for it. And
30:16
that reason is I'm tired of people like Leon Black
30:19
getting away with things like this. I'm tired of people
30:22
like Leon Black not facing the consequences when everybody else
30:27
in society has to beat to the drum. You know,
30:31
we have to get going with whatever drum beat. People
30:35
like Leon Black and those that he financed to get
30:38
into office play for us. You know, we're not dancing
30:42
to our own tune, but we should be. We should
30:46
have a justice system that we can rely on, a
30:48
justice system that we know if we get in trouble
30:52
or there's something that goes wrong, that everyone's going to
30:55
go in and have a fair shake under the law
31:00
that is certainly not what's going on here. And that's
31:02
why it's comical with Maxwell as well, with her whole
31:06
entire routine about how, oh, the conditions of jail are
31:10
so terrible for me, for me, for me, it's always
31:13
about me, me, me. That's why I don't have any
31:15
compassion for her. I've been very clear that I feel
31:18
like the Department, the Bureau of Prisons, needs to be fixed.
31:23
I've been very clear that I think reformation needs to happen,
31:27
but unfortunately it's not happening. Right. These are the rules
31:31
that we're all playing by, or supposed to play by.
31:34
And now that Guilaine Maxwell is facing the music and
31:37
she's sitting there rotting in a jail cell, now everybody's
31:40
worried about if it's fair or not. Well, I have
31:43
news for you, Guilaine and Marcus and all of the
31:46
other people that support you. Jail's always been shitty for
31:50
poor people. You don't like the way the shit pie tastes,
31:54
will stop baking it. Apollo was put on the un
32:00
Joint Staff Pension Funds watch list in mid July twenty
32:04
nineteen after reports of mister Black's ties to Epstein. A
32:08
un official said so again. In essence, this is a
32:12
good thing for the UN to have a official watch
32:15
list for businesses that are involved in malfeasance. Right in principle,
32:21
it sounds like a great idea. The problem is this,
32:24
the UN is as corrupt, or even more corrupt, perhaps
32:28
than even Leon Black. So we're if we're sitting here
32:32
thinking that the UN is some kind of watchdog, that
32:35
the UN is this this body of morality that is
32:39
going to make sure people like Leon Black are doing
32:42
the right thing, we are all going to be sorely
32:46
disappointed because the UN, like any other bureaucracy, is terrible. Okay,
32:54
the UN, they don't the left hand never knows what
32:57
the right hand is doing. They're always up to some
32:59
stupid and it seems like all of the officials at
33:03
the UN are more worried about increasing their own wealth
33:07
and trying to get a little something something out of
33:09
their position. Tell me the last time the UN showed
33:13
up anywhere, and it was like a good situation, right,
33:16
they showed up and they helped out, and nobody complained
33:19
about people in the UN abusing and raping and trafficking kids.
33:23
Very rare, Right, every time they show up somewhere. It's
33:26
a whole entire shit show of crimes and malfeasance. So
33:31
that's why I find it laughable that the UN, of
33:34
all places, acts like there's some sort of watchdog here.
33:37
Oh yeah, what Apollo Global is doing, we can't, we
33:41
can't abide by that. Meanwhile, how many people from the
33:45
UN throughout the years have been involved in horrendous crimes,
33:52
So talk about hypocrisy. Apollo was put on the UN
33:59
Joint Staff Pen Funds watch list in July twenty nineteen
34:03
after reports of mister Black's ties to Epstein. A UN
34:06
official said the eighty point three billion dollar pension fund
34:10
has invested with Apollo since at least twenty and thirteen.
34:14
So they have eighty point three billion dollars the UN.
34:19
Why does the UN have eighty billion dollars? Anyway, that's
34:22
I guess that's another topic for another time. They have
34:25
eighty billion dollars invested with Leon Black and Apollo Global,
34:32
eighty billion with a b folks billion dollars. So what's
34:40
with all the talk the UN? Are you gonna walk
34:43
the walk or just talk the talk? Because now, in hindsight,
34:46
when we're looking back at this a few weeks later,
34:50
you haven't bounced out of this pension yet, so once
34:53
again seems like a bit of grand standing by the
34:57
United Nations. Speaking after the Decor report was published, Pedro Guazo,
35:04
representative of the UN Secretary General for the Investment of
35:07
the pension fund's assets, told the Financial Times right now,
35:11
we are not exploring any individual excuse me, exploring any
35:15
additional investments with them. Well that's a good start, huh.
35:19
But again my question is why does the UN have
35:22
eighty billion dollars? Can somebody refresh my memory and tell
35:27
me how many famines are happening around the world right now,
35:30
how many people are starving and underdeveloped countries. But the
35:33
UN's investing eighty billion dollars with Leon Black seems legit
35:37
almost as great as the Catholic Church when you got
35:40
the Pope up there, you know, yelling down at everybody
35:43
about giving and being charitable. Meanwhile, the Vaticans sitting on
35:47
an untold amount of wealth, why don't you open up
35:52
your doors and pass out some gold there, mister Pope,
35:56
Same shit here with the UN. Right, bug it up there,
35:58
and they'll talk about how they care and how they're
36:00
gonna show up and help people and feed people, and
36:04
meanwhile they're investing eighty billion dollars with Jeffrey Epstein's buddy.
36:10
The current outlook of the UN Office of Investment Management
36:14
is that the findings of Decord's investigation were not enough
36:17
to move Apollo off the watch list. He added, Reputational
36:21
risk is something that we take very seriously, mister Guazo said,
36:25
stressing that any new investment would have to meet stringent
36:28
UN criteria concerning social impact and corporate governance. Oh yeah,
36:33
a lot of pretty words, folks, a lot of flowery
36:37
words to make you think that they care. Meanwhile, that
36:40
eighty billion is still sitting there, aparked with Apollo Global.
36:44
Yank it. If you really care, you in and you
36:47
truly want to see the world the better place, yank
36:50
your money. The UN's decision to blow is a blow
36:57
to Apollo. Who's co founder Joshua Harris had said in
37:00
October that the third party fundraising will slow over the
37:04
near term as some investors await the findings of the
37:07
review by the company's lawyers. Well, we know that a
37:10
lot of companies have not shied away, right, and I've
37:13
been taking note of these companies and we're going to
37:16
talk about them a little bit more later on. But
37:18
all of these places that are still investing with Apollo,
37:21
with this shroud of Jeffrey Epstein hanging over them, they
37:25
should honestly be ashamed of themselves. All for an extra
37:28
couple of percent of yield. You could go with a
37:31
more reputable company, maybe miss out on half a point
37:34
of yield or something like that, but still feel better
37:37
about yourself. I know as an investor, and obviously not
37:40
on this level, but as an investor, I don't invest
37:43
in companies that I don't believe in. I don't invest
37:46
in situations I don't believe in. If a company has
37:49
this kind of ill repute, I'm certainly not parking my
37:52
money with them. Apollo last week unveiled reforms designed to
37:59
addres investors concerns, saying it would add four new independent
38:03
directors and revamp it's dual class share structure to give
38:07
outside investors more say in how the firm is run.
38:10
Mister Black said he would step down as chief executive
38:14
by July thirty first. So we see the reformation beginning, right.
38:19
We see they brought on Jay Clayton, who I talked about,
38:21
yesterday Trump's sec sheriff. Certainly not a higher that I
38:26
think is a good idea. But you see them trying
38:28
to make steps in the direction of acting like they care,
38:32
acting like they're going to fix things. Meanwhile Black is
38:37
still involved, Rowan is the CEO now and Harris has
38:41
been sidelined. Makes you wonder what the true goal of
38:44
Apollo is making things right or continuing to protect their
38:49
founder and their bud Leon Black. Deckert had unrestricted access
38:57
to all relevant individuals and documents, and the report was
39:00
publicly released in its entirety. Apollo said in a statement
39:04
to the fp FT, excuse me, that's wrong. They had
39:08
access to whatever Black decided to give them. This wasn't
39:12
a subpoena by the government. Give me a break, stop
39:14
gaslighting us, It added. The corporate governance enhancements proposed or
39:23
sweeping and subject to corporate and regulatory approvals, will be
39:26
industry leading. Those moves appeared to placate some Apollo investors,
39:32
among them the UK South Yorkshire's Pension Authority, which committed
39:36
almost twenty nine million pounds across three Apollo funds between
39:40
twenty thirteen and twenty and nineteen. The Authorities director George
39:46
Graham told the FT that Apollo's actions demonstrate a commitment
39:50
to learning and improving from things that go wrong. Uh
39:55
what so the pension plan here, the South Yorkshire Pensions
40:01
Authority thinks that investing their money with Leon Black is
40:04
a good idea because you know, the Decor report went
40:07
far enough to clearly on Black and Apollo Global of
40:11
any sort of misdeeds. Uh what. Obviously the leader of
40:17
that pension plan is also suffering from CTE, very very
40:22
serious condition. Too many shots to the head. We'll have
40:25
you thinking funny. If you'd like to contact me, you

40:52
And to everybody who has donated to the podcast recently,
40:55
thank you folks so much. All right, everybody, I will
40:59
be back later on. I don't know about a daily
41:01
drop tonight. We'll see what's going on. We'll see which
41:04
way the wind blows. If there's something to talk about.
41:07
I'll hop on. If not, expect a couple of flashbacks,
41:10
and then expect me, my beard and my big mouth
41:14
back tomorrow morning. All right, everybody, have a great night,
41:18
and please, if you're going out tonight, do the right thing.
41:22
Don't drink and drive. Jess Colling, Hello everyone, and welcome
41:27
to The Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm your host, Bobby Capucci,
41:31
and this is a morning update. What's up everybody, and
41:36
welcome to the program. So in a few days, my
41:39
new podcast is launching. Life is a mosh Pit. And
41:45
on that podcast, we're going to talk about a variety
41:48
of subjects. We're not gonna be pigeonholed by one topic.
41:52
We're not gonna just spend countless days on one topic
41:56
like we do here. It's gonna be a different kind
41:59
of podcast then the Jeffrey Epstein Show. We're laser focused
42:03
here on this podcast, right, everything's about Epstein and his
42:08
people all day, every day. Well, the new podcast is
42:12
going to be a lot different. We're going to be
42:14
talking about issues ripped right from the headlines, topics that
42:19
I don't believe are getting enough play by the legacy media.
42:23
We're going to be doing deep dives into certain topics, like,
42:27
for instance, the first topic that we're going to be
42:30
discussing is the war on drugs, and it's going to
42:34
be a multiple parts series. We'll start at the beginning
42:39
and work our way through. Now, what is the war
42:42
on drugs? Why has it been employed? Why has it
42:46
been kept going on for so long when we know
42:50
that it's failing, who's benefiting from it? And who is
42:55
being hurt though worst buy it? All of that is
42:58
going to be discussed in this first series. We're gonna
43:01
be talking about other things as well, money laundering, corruption,
43:07
We're gonna talk about bias in the media. We're gonna
43:10
talk about all of it. And I'm not gonna make
43:14
any of it digest to be either. People are gonna
43:19
have to choke it down because guess what, there is
43:24
enough fluff put on these serious topics. There is enough
43:29
nonsense by the legacy media keeping people unaware of the
43:34
serious nature of the shit going on around us. Like,
43:37
for instance, do any of you even know that there's
43:41
a war going on on the streets of Jacksonville between
43:44
two rap crews that have claimed the lives of kids
43:47
that are sixteen years old, And then those same very
43:50
kids are memorialized in rap songs by their ops their opponents. Furthermore,
43:57
do you know that Jacksonville doesn't clear rufe seventy percent
44:01
of the homicides in that city. Sure, some of you
44:05
might have known this, but I'm guessing a lot of
44:08
you out there didn't know any of that. And it's
44:11
not your fault. It's the fault of the legacy media.
44:14
You would think that if bodies were being dropped on
44:17
a street like jackson in a city like Jacksonville, in
44:20
a place like America, it would be all over the TV.
44:23
There'd be people marching, there'd be all sorts of shit
44:26
going on. There's none of that happening, and the legacy
44:31
media just ignores it. Why oh, a bunch of poor
44:34
kids from the streets of Jacksonville killing each other? Ah,
44:37
who cares? Keep it moving. So there's a lot of
44:41
things like that that go on around this country that
44:44
people do not talk about. And we're gonna be jumping
44:48
right into that kind of stuff and we're gonna talk
44:50
about all of that. I think it's important that we
44:55
have an idea of what's really going on. I think
44:57
it's important that we lift up the shade and take
45:01
a look a little bit deeper than what's going on
45:04
just in the front room. And that's the plan on
45:09
the new podcast, Life is a mosh Pit. We're going
45:12
to tackle all of that kind of stuff, all of
45:14
those CD topics that the legacy media refuses to get into.
45:19
We're going to get into that. We're going to get
45:20
into the homelessness issue in a place like Las Vegas,
45:24
where I'm at, and I even have some plans on
45:27
doing a short documentary about the homeless issue here in
45:30
Las Vegas. So I got a lot of things in
45:35
the works, folks, a lot of things cooking, and all
45:38
of this is going to crack off and start on
45:40
June first. Also for those of you who aren't you
45:46
looking to delve into such deep topics, I'm going to
45:50
have some light shit on there as well. We're going
45:52
to talk about pop culture, We're going to talk about
45:54
reality TV. I'm going to do a sports segment. I
45:57
know a lot of people have been hitting me up
46:00
about doing a sports segment, especially coming this coming football season,
46:04
to discuss, you know, certain bets and things like that.
46:08
So I'm definitely gonna do that as well. I guess
46:11
what I'm trying to tell you, folks, is I'm gonna
46:14
be pumping out a ton of content coming up here
46:17
real soon, and we're gonna see what's what. We are
46:21
going to see what's what. But one thing you can
46:24
guarantee is that you're going to get the same exact's tenacity,
46:29
the same kind of approach, and the same sort of
46:31
bulldog mentality that I display here on this new podcast.
46:37
We're not gonna beat around the bush. We're not gonna
46:39
pull any punches. We're gonna go hard in the pain.
46:44
We're gonna dig deep, and we're going to talk about
46:47
the issues that I believe are being avoided or just
46:51
straight up ignored by the legacy media. Some of that
46:57
shit's gonna be grimy, folks, some of it'll probably be
47:01
hard to hear and read. But this audience especially is
47:08
well prepared for heavy topics at this point, right, So
47:14
get ready for all of it. The war on drugs,
47:18
human trafficking that goes along with it, All of that
47:21
stuff is about to be explored, about to be touched on,
47:25
as well as things like I was just talking about,
47:28
like the situation in Jacksonville. I never see anything like that.
47:34
On the news when I pop it on, you have
47:36
to actually actively search stuff like that out. If you
47:39
don't know that it's going on, then you have no idea. Right,
47:44
nobody's gonna tell you. None of the newscasters are popping
47:47
on CNN. Rachel Mattout doesn't have a special about all
47:50
the bodies being dropped in Jacksonville. Right, So we're gonna
47:56
discuss all of that. We're gonna fill in the blanks,
47:59
and we're gonna have a good time doing it. I
48:01
plan on having some guests on. I plan on having
48:04
some experts on, and if there's any topics that you
48:07
folks want to discuss, shoot me an email and I'll
48:11
definitely take a look and we'll see if we can
48:14
figure something out. Because there's a whole wide world out there, folks,
48:20
and we've just dipped our toes in. All right. So
48:25
as for today and our Jeffrey Epstein News, we're going
48:30
to talk a little bit more about Apollo Global and
48:33
the fallout from that. Now, the New York Post is
48:36
reporting that, you know, this is the Epstein situation is
48:41
what really led to the break and management at Apollo.
48:44
They're right about that. I told you folks that quite
48:47
some time ago, and now this is one of the
48:51
very few areas where I have air quotes a couple
48:54
of sources when it comes to the financial world, and
48:57
that just just because I happen to have a job
49:00
for some time for cann or Fitzgerald, and I would
49:04
associate with these guys at like business business meetings and
49:08
you know, stuff like that. So I got kind of
49:12
friendly with some of these people, and I've stayed in
49:14
contact with them, and they've proved to be very reliable
49:18
when it comes to this financial stuff. They really have
49:21
their ear to the ground and they know what's going on, right.
49:24
So they clued me in a while back when all
49:27
of this was first breaking that this was going to
49:30
be a serious disruption at the top of Apollo Global
49:35
and that there was a full on war going on
49:38
inside of the boardroom. And we've seen that come to pass.
49:42
We've seen that pan out to be true. And now
49:46
the New York Post is jumping on and co signing that,
49:49
which is awesome, right. I like when you have an
49:52
outlet like the Post that comes on and it confirmed
49:55
some of the stuff we've heard from the very few
49:57
sources that I have. It comes to stuff like this,
50:01
you all know I'm not going to be out here bullshit,
50:03
and you acting like I got sources all over the place,
50:05
like I'm some kind of journalist. That's not the case.
50:08
I'm just like you folks, right, I'm just a guy
50:10
with a podcast, guy with a few big some commentary.
50:14
I certainly don't have any sources or anything like that
50:17
in any other realm. But when it comes to the
50:21
financial part of this, I happen to know a few people,
50:25
and they have been spot on with what they have
50:28
had to say and the information that they have given
50:30
me in regards to the whole entire financial fiasco around Epstein,
50:37
and that continues to play out. So let's jump into
50:41
this New York Post article and let's see just exactly
50:46
what Josh Kosman, the author of this article, has to say. Headline,
50:52
how Jeffrey Epstein led to fall out at Apollo Global Management.
50:58
Jeffrey Epstein was a key reason for tensions at the
51:00
top of Apollo Global Management that recently spurred the exit
51:05
of two of its three remaining co founders, and the
51:08
awkwardness began a decade ago. The Post has learned, Look,
51:13
this has been brewing right, this isn't a this is
51:16
something like this doesn't just happen overnight in a boardroom
51:18
like this, Right, there's fissures, there's little holes, and things
51:23
start to get more serious, get bigger, and the riffs
51:29
grow wider as information comes in and they find out
51:32
more and more about the relationship between Leon Black and
51:36
Jeffrey Epstein. That made things a whole lot harder to
51:41
navigate within that boardroom because people understood what it meant. Right.
51:47
People definitely knew that in that boardroom what was going down.
51:52
Josh Harris certainly knew, and that's why he was so
51:55
adamant about not being in bed with Epstein or not
51:59
being involved with Epstein. Josh Harris knew exactly what the
52:03
deal was. It was in twenty and eleven that billionaire
52:09
Leon Black, who on March twenty second revealed he was
52:13
stepping down from the helm of the giant buyout firm
52:16
sooner than expected amid controversy over his Epstein ties, first
52:20
floated the idea of working with the now dead pedophile
52:23
to his fellow co founders Josh Harris and Mark Rowan,
52:27
according to sources close to that situation, so all the
52:31
way Back in twenty and eleven, Leon Black was singing
52:36
the song of Jeffrey Epstein to Smith and I mean
52:40
to Harris and Mark Rowan. Back then, even Harris wasn't
52:45
having it. Harris was not too excited about what was
52:48
going on. You know, I can't really get a pulse
52:51
on Rowan. Nobody that I know really knows Rowan personally,
52:55
so I won't begin to try and make pretend that
52:57
I have any idea about his motivations. But he certainly
53:01
seems like he is a yes man for Leon Black.
53:04
Certainly seems like Leon Black's bag man. And if that
53:08
was not the case, then you would think that Harris
53:13
would have gotten the position right. He was set up
53:15
to be in that position, he was set up to
53:17
take over. Rowan had even step back from his duties
53:20
and was basically in retirement. All of this stems from
53:24
the fact that Harris thinks that Leon Black's a sick
53:28
bastard for running around with Jeffrey Epstein, running the streets
53:32
with Epstein, breaking bread with Epstein, and being Epstein's boy.
53:36
That's what this all comes down to. Harris was grossed
53:39
out by it. Harris wants nothing to do with it.
53:42
And Rowan was a lot more accepting of it, point
53:45
blank period, folks. That's despite the fact that Epstein had
53:51
been convicted three years earlier for soliciting prostitution from a
53:55
fourteen year old girl. And we all know that it
53:57
wasn't prostitution. We all know what Epstein was doing. They
54:01
all knew what Epstein was doing. And yet Leon Black's
54:04
jumping right in bed with Epstein, pulling the covers up
54:08
and giving them the old reach around like it's nobody's business,
54:13
and at the same time trying to get his partners
54:17
at Apollo Global to hop into bed with Epstein Epstein
54:21
as well. Now can you imagine the fallout of all
54:24
three of these dudes would have been in bed with
54:26
Epstein if they were all milking that golden cow. With
54:33
it just being Leon Black, Apollo Global is able to
54:35
be like, all right, well, this is just it's just
54:38
Leon Black, it's not the rest of us. He's going
54:40
to take a step back, and you know, business as normal,
54:43
will just continue things how they were. And they're able
54:48
to get away with that, right because Rowan and Harris
54:52
weren't in bed with Black, so they have plausible deniability.
54:58
But imagine if Leon Black was able to snake them
55:00
into it back in the day when he first got
55:03
into bed with Epstein, this would be a whole different conversation.
55:06
Right now, In the meantime, Black had continued to associate
55:12
with him and was prodding Harris and Rowan to hire
55:14
Epstein to do some work for them and possibly for Apollo,
55:18
according to the sources. Now the cynic in me is wondering,
55:23
was Leon Black trying to recruit these dudes to get
55:26
them caught up in the web as well, to get
55:28
some more more compromise for Epstein to be in charge of.
55:33
I mean, you got to ask those questions when you're
55:36
dealing with the people that we're dealing with, right I
55:39
know it's very cynical to look at things that way,
55:42
and it's in most cases, I don't work like that,
55:46
But when we're dealing with the people that we're dealing
55:49
with here, the people with the reputations that they have,
55:53
then you never know what is being used as a
55:57
tool of manipulation and what's not being used as a
56:01
tool of manipulation. Manipulation, so, I you know, I don't
56:06
know what the real motivation is for Leon Black to
56:09
try and get these dudes in bed with Epstein as well.
56:12
But something is sitting in my stomach funny with that
56:16
whole entire setup, and I can't put my finger on
56:20
it yet, but you better believe I'm gonna keep probing.
56:26
Leon affirmatively recommended Epstein. It was more than a passing
56:30
comment once or said he wanted Apollo to hire him.
56:33
And remember we talked about that as well. My sources
56:37
were pretty clear about the fact that this just was
56:40
not an Epstein situation with Leon Black. Leon Black was very, very,
56:46
very vocal about bringing Epstein into the fold of Apollo
56:50
and having him take more of a, you know, an
56:53
advisory role there. That was common knowledge to people who
56:58
were around Apollo or who had friends working at Apollo.
57:01
This is something that was discussed and people knew about it.
57:06
So for Leon Black to act like him and Epstein
57:09
weren't close, for Leon Black to try and distance himself
57:12
from Epstein, it's a no win strategy for me, and
57:16
I'm never gonna let him get off the hook with it.
57:18
I'm going to continue to pound this piece of pavement, folks,
57:21
until Leon Black shuts his yap Because it is very
57:25
obvious to anyone who's paying attention that Leon Black and
57:30
Jeffrey Epstein were very very tight. Harrison Rowan, repelled by
57:38
Epstein and concerned about damage to Apollo's reputation, said no,
57:42
and the conversations never advanced, according to the sources, And
57:46
that is a fact I heard as well, mainly Harris
57:49
being very adamant about not wanting to travel down that road.
57:53
Him owning sports teams and all this other stuff. He
57:57
recognized the pitfalls of being in bed with somebody like Epstein,
58:02
and he unequivocally told Leon Black to stuff it now. Rowan,
58:07
on the other hand, I heard, was a bit more
58:12
receptive to the idea, but at the end of the
58:15
day ended up siding with uh with Harris on this
58:21
specific issue. Nevertheless, tensions between the co founders over Epstein,
58:28
particularly between Black and Harris, persisted and became a key
58:33
issue to Black's announce It became a key issue as
58:36
Black announced his surprise exit from the firm in March.
58:40
And it's it's, folks, that's what it's always been. We've
58:43
had a battle Roy Isle going on in this boardroom,
58:46
and Leon Black and Josh Harris have been locking horns
58:52
over this Epstein situation for quite some time. Now, making
58:56
a bunch of money was able to you know, calm
59:00
the waters a bit right when this wasn't an issue
59:03
that was in the front page all the time. Now
59:08
that this issue is front page news and there's fallout
59:11
from it, well you see the results. You see how
59:14
Harris pushed to move Black out of his position. Harris
59:18
was thinking that he was going to step up and
59:20
be the guy. He got the end around pulled on
59:24
him though. Rowan came out of retirement and put Harris
59:28
on ice and slid right into that position. And now,
59:32
like we've talked about recently, Harris is going to be
59:35
leaving the company. So all of this, all of this
59:40
fallout is all due to Leon Black's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
59:49
Last week, Harris said he was exiting the firm, leaving
59:52
Rowan the sole remaining co founder, to serve as chief executive.
59:57
These assertions made by an unnamed source are completely untrue,
1:00:00
set a spokesman for Black. I disagree with that. In fact,
1:00:06
I will go out on a limb and say that
1:00:08
I believe my source one hundred percent over a spokesman
1:00:12
for Black. At this point, everything leads to what the
1:00:16
folks have said about what was going on in the
1:00:19
boardroom at Apollo Global. Everything has been proven true. So
1:00:24
it falls on deaf ears when Leon Black's spokesperson comes
1:00:29
out and says, oh, none of this is true, None
1:00:31
of this has happened. Leon Black has had a great
1:00:33
relationship with these guys. Wrong. It's a lie, and this
1:00:38
has been brewing for quite some time. According to sources. However,
1:00:45
Black had been pitching Harris and Rowan on Epstein's prowess
1:00:48
when it comes to tax and estate planning, the same
1:00:51
services for which it was revealed earlier this year, Black
1:00:55
had racked up an eye popping tab of one hundred
1:00:58
and fifty eight million dollars with Epstein. Again, I don't
1:01:02
buy that for one second. One hundred and fifty eight
1:01:05
million dollars for advice. Huh okay? Sure? And if that
1:01:09
advice was so great, why didn't Rowan and Harris jump
1:01:13
on board? You would think guys that know how to
1:01:16
recognize a way to make a few fazuls would be
1:01:19
jumping on board. Or did they take a look at
1:01:22
what was going on and see what the deal was
1:01:26
and decided better of it? Again, I don't know I
1:01:30
wasn't in that boardroom. I have no idea what really occurred,
1:01:33
but one thing's for sure. Leon Black was in bed
1:01:36
with Jeffrey Epstein to the tune of one hundred and
1:01:38
fifty eight million FN dollars, and that money was not
1:01:43
for advice, not in my opinion anyway. Beyond that, insiders
1:01:50
said Black was signaling that Apollo might hire Epstein as
1:01:53
a consultant on investments or possibly enter into investments with him.
1:01:58
The sources said, Remember, it was never about that. It
1:02:01
was all about advice right now. It's about investments too.
1:02:04
What did Jeffrey Epstein have on Leon Black? That's the
1:02:07
real question nobody is asking. That's the the five million
1:02:12
pound elephant in the room at this point. Since nobody
1:02:14
else wants to ask it, I'll ask it. What sort
1:02:17
of compromid did Jeffrey Epstein have on you? Leon Black?
1:02:21
You're out here singing this dude's praises, doing the happy
1:02:25
dance for him. If you had a tail, that shit
1:02:27
would be wagon. You're so happy to be around Epstein.
1:02:30
What did he have on you? Black? Despite being turned
1:02:35
down by Rowan and Harris, doesn't like taking no for
1:02:38
an answer. According to a source briefed on the situation,
1:02:42
And for years he continued to float various projects with
1:02:45
Epstein to his cohorts at Apollo, and at every turn,
1:02:50
every single time he kept floating these projects, it was
1:02:53
making Harris more and more agitated, according to the people
1:02:56
I spoke with. And then when Epstein was busted the
1:03:02
second time, that was pretty much the nail and the
1:03:05
coffin for the relationship with Harris and Apollo. It wasn't
1:03:09
long before this was all gonna fizzle out. Harris's plan
1:03:13
was to push blackout, and with rowing Rowan already being
1:03:18
on ice, Harris was gonna slide right into that position.
1:03:21
But again he got end arounded by Black and Rowan
1:03:27
and cut off right at the knees. That in turn
1:03:32
helped heighten tensions between the three executives, particularly Black and Harris,
1:03:37
who were locked in a rising power struggle as Harris
1:03:40
steady took on more day to day responsibilities running the
1:03:44
four hundred and fifty five billion dollar private equity powerhouse,
1:03:48
sources said, and that's a fact, that's definitely a fact.
1:03:52
We've seen that for quite some time at Apollo. These
1:03:55
two dudes were definitely locked in a power struggle, and
1:03:59
the Epstein a situation is just the fulcrum. It's been
1:04:05
a slow burn between Josh and Leon since a source
1:04:08
said Leon would bring Jeffrey up and he was rebuffed
1:04:11
and weighs big and small. Josh Harris again is very
1:04:18
critical of this whole entire situation. And I'm not going
1:04:21
to sit here and say it's because he's a good guy, right,
1:04:23
I don't know him. I don't know what he does
1:04:25
in his private life. But what I will say is this,
1:04:28
the stench of Epstein is not a stench that he
1:04:30
wanted anywhere near him, so much so that it's making
1:04:35
him leave this gigantic powerhouse of a company. And this
1:04:42
whole entire power struggle is based on the fact that
1:04:46
Leon Black would not let go of his relationship with
1:04:49
Jeffrey Epstein. Tensions over Epstein came to a head in
1:04:54
January when Harris demanded that Black step down over concerns
1:04:58
that his Epstein ties would tarnish the firm. Sources said.
1:05:02
In response, Black named Rowan his successor as CEO, a
1:05:06
surprise move given that Harris had been taking on an
1:05:09
increasingly crucial operational role while Rowan had been taking on
1:05:13
fewer duties at the firm. According to sources, Yeah, Roan
1:05:16
was set up for retirement, He was on his way out.
1:05:19
He was taken some easier gigs doing a much easier load.
1:05:25
And it was Harris who was set up to take
1:05:27
the reins and become the big dog. And Leon Black
1:05:31
threw the kebash on that, torpedoed that, and well you
1:05:35
see where we're at. An investigation by the firm of
1:05:40
the law firm Deckert, whose results were made public in January,
1:05:44
concluded that while Black did not try to pressure his
1:05:46
co founders to use Epstein, he did positively comment on
1:05:50
the substantial value of Epstein's services, and at Epstein's repeated request,
1:05:56
did try to introduce Epstein to his co founders. Of course,
1:06:00
of course he did. That was all part of it, right,
1:06:03
rebuilding Epstein's image, being a vehicle for Epstein to ride
1:06:07
into the stratosphere. And all of these stupid mons played
1:06:10
their part to a tee. In the end, neither co
1:06:15
founder hired Epstein or consulted with him on their personal matters.
1:06:19
The report released January twenty second said, while the report
1:06:23
did not give a specific timeline for the disagreements over Epstein.
1:06:27
Deckert has also determined that Epstein unsuccess unsuccessfully sought to
1:06:32
pitch business opportunities to certain Apollo senior executives, none of
1:06:37
which were pursued by Apollo or those executives, according to
1:06:41
the report, And it's just the same old story, right,
1:06:46
Epstein had Black, and once he had Black, he thought
1:06:49
he had the inn but Harris and Rowan somehow resisted.
1:06:56
As previously reported by the Post, Epstein was listed as
1:06:59
director on the board of Black's charity, the Black Family Foundation,
1:07:03
between two thousand and one and twenty twelve. At the time,
1:07:08
Black's reps insisted that Epstein had been listed as a
1:07:11
director for the four years following his conviction solely because
1:07:15
of a clerical error. So again, these people with all
1:07:19
this money in the world, all this power, all this nonsense,
1:07:21
want you to believe that the only reason he was
1:07:24
listed as a director was a clerical error. They really
1:07:30
think you're stupid. They really think that nobody is going
1:07:34
to dig deeper, that everyone's just going to buy their narrative.
1:07:37
And hell, why shouldn't they think that? We have for
1:07:40
so long, with the help of a complicit legacy media
1:07:44
we've been force fed their bullshit for so long that
1:07:47
we just accept it. Well, folks, those days are coming
1:07:51
to a screeching halt. And the days of people like
1:07:56
Leon Black operating in the shadows and not fake any
1:08:00
repercussions for their bullshit, well those days are coming to
1:08:04
an end as well. If you'd like to contact me,
